As an out-of-towner, I have to admit my standards are lowered because you are miles from anything else. That said, the pizza is okay and the breadsticks are great. Having eaten here a half dozen times I have found the food good more often than not. The service is great and you can't beat the backwards charm of small town America. Recently, I had a pepperoni and sausage calzone and a diet soda. No complaints!

We eat here every year on a fishing tournament to Curlew Lake and the quality of food has kept us coming back again and again. I have never had poor service, the bathrooms are clean, and the salad bar looks pretty fresh although I stay away from eating anything that wansn't breathing at one point in time. Overall, this place just plain delivers. well, i'm not sure if they deliver actually, but you get the point. Nothing special, just good old american pizza. Not originally from America but, well, you get it.

Went yesterday, paid $60 for a large pepperoni, large sausage, a salad, breadsticks, and two large drinks while we waited. We waited almost 2 hours for our pizza, we were not warned upon ordering of the wait, which was disappointing. We were not upset about the wait but not being told was maddening. We were pretty upset when we got home and tasted the pizza and breadsticks, they were mediocre at best, tasteless pizza crust, non existent sauce, and just okay cheese. Please don't waste your money on this pizza. We weren't expecting greatness but were expecting something with flavor.

UPDATE 7/6/13: The TAMARACK IS CLOSED FOR BUSINESS. If you're looking for yummy pizza in the Republic, WA area, now you'll find it at The Republic Pizza Company, on 31 N Keller St, Republic, Washington 99166. The restaurant is one block off of Clark Avenue, just across an alley, behind the Republic Brewing Company. They deliver pizzas to the brewery.

Great pizza, impressive service! There's cheaper pizza out there, but you get what you pay for. Good variety of choices and some originals. I'll definitely be back over and over...
