Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Great food and good prices. The inside is really nice too. I love the breadsticks. The proportions are big, which is nice.

Can minestrone soup not have beans or pasta? Can pasta entrees be served with sliced cold bread? Can prawn fettuccine be served with the tails still on? Can margarita pizza have ONE leaf of basil placed in the middle? Do you like sloppy waiters, as in spilling drinks and mixing up orders? If you answered YES to any of the above questions, then Vince's is for you! I could go on but why ruin any more surprises? Older people seem to like this place, maybe because of days gone by but I feel It's a tired place and it shows. Sorry, but I don't have that high of expectations, and I was disappointed.

Fancier digs than the "deceased" Rainier location. It is hard for me to imagine Vinces anything but the Rainier location, which sadly is no longer. So, you could imagine my surprise when I came upon this location's fancier attire. Don't be alarmed it still has the flavour of the original with the faux brick walls, checkered table cloth, Italian tunes in the background, and memories on the wall. Menu, the same. Taste the same. This is like coming "home" (rainier location). Sticking to my comforts, I order my fettucine, pino noir, and spumoni... all yummy! Service was great, which is a step up from the Rainier spot. Thank you!

We went to Vince's for dinner. First, we got horrible service The waitress was dismissive and slow. Most of all the food tasted like it came out of a can. My Husband ordered the steak salad. Lots of lettuce and just a tiny bit of steak. I ordered Gnocchi with meat sauce. The Gnocchi was thick and rubbery. The sauce tasted and smelled like it came out of a can. I would never go there again. You should give it a second thought. Although we have ordered takeout pizza and it's pretty good.

One of my favorite places for quick no frills Italian food. Nice enough inside to avoid being called a hole in the wall, but definitely nothing fancy. Reminds me of an old pizza parlor, and in many ways, it is. Have eaten there many times thanks to a company "perks" program that provides "buy one get one free" meals. Can't go wrong with their pizza (pepperoni and pineapple yum!), and my wife swears by the pasta Arabiatta. Service is prompt and friendly, and the crowd is mostly families. Definitely worth trying if you've never been. The locale is a bit questionable, so be sure to park as close to the front door as possible.

Expensive for a plate of pasta and sauce, but I think that is to be expected of any Italian Restaurant. The food is good and the service is excellent. During the dinner rush, it gets really loud in the dinning room and I think its interesting that there are no windows to bring in natural light. The pizza is great!

The pizza is excellent but, the salad sucks Big time. They used to have more dressing options my favorite is 1000 island but since they're trying to be authentic Italian and it's not working I might add. The salad dressings they have Now are anemic and bland so skipping Salad is highly recommended. Service Is usually good.

Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name. They don't know my name here. But soon they will. Because I plan on eating here even more frequently. My pizza partners, my spaghetti sons, my fettucine f*#$ers. You're all welcome at Vince's of the Renton Highlands. Come hungry, leave hungry for more. The pizza is so unique. It is a thinner crust with a perfectly mild sauce. I reccomend the bacon pizza. The spaghetti and ravioli are awesome, hell it all is. It isn't fancy but it is your white and red checkered table cloths, breadsticks, bread, what have you american-italian fare. This joint rocks. I'd smoke it.

I absolutely love the pasta at this restaurant, unfortunately the service is so poor I cannot bear the experience. I had to beg my friend to meet me here as he has already taken the 'never again' stance, I should have listened. I have spent many a visits waiting patiently for a beverage, menu, and food when there should not have been a wait. My diet will appreciate the fact that I can no longer wait for service in the bar of Vince's.

I'd give ZERO stars if I could..bad service, the guy serving us never came back to refill tea, the brushetta was cold bread with whole little tomatoes.. horrible.. did they bring bread? yep, ice cold bread.. never had a basket of cold bread..pasta was plain and it was a huge waste of money, will never go back

I came here not expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I found a coupon in the Entertainment book for buy 1 entree get 1 free, so I decided to give this place a try since I was in the Renton area. When we got there, we waited for about 15 minutes even though there seemed to be a lot of empty tables open. We ordered the garlic bread, Vince's special pizza, chicken marsala, and I got a raspberry Italian soda. The garlic bread was not very flavorful... it had very little garlic taste and was WAY too oily... we actually preferred the regular bread over the garlic bread. The pizza was mediocre... if I was going to have pizza, I'd much rather order a pizza from Pizza Hut or go to BJ's. The Italian soda was pretty good, but it tasted like an average Italian soda. The chicken marsala was definitely the best thing there! I love chicken marsala and I usually order it at every Italian restaurant I go to, but I have to say this is the BEST chicken marsala I've ever had. I don't even know how to describe it, but it had the perfect amount of spice and flavor and it was amazing! I would probably come here again, but would definitely avoid the garlic bread and all of the pizzas. Apparently they have happy hour too, so I might try that next time.

We absolutely LOVE Vince's, everybody's always happy when we get there and happier when we step out! This isn't your lovely food-service restaurant, all of the food and herbs are fresh and their buyers sure know what they're doing. I adore the Eggplant Parmigiana but the Chicken Marsala is so amazingly awesome that I kind of ignore the eggplant, saying "I'll order that next time." Great wine list, the pizza is to die for, everybody's happy!

Hey! If you start with stale bread sticks (still in wrapper) you know you're in trouble. The food went downhill from there. Not sure how they stay in business. The service was fine but quality of food was very very bad!

Mediocre in every way: food, service, ambience. We go occasionally because it's close but certainly wouldn't seek it out, otherwise.

Awesome food! Our favorite things to order are: the pizza with pepperoni and Canadian bacon, carbonara (best I've ever had), ameritriciana (sp?), puttenesca, ravioli (their only fresh pasta- so divine), chicken Marsala and the lasagna. Not all in one sitting of course but great to rotate during each visit. We go a couple times a month. Love the pesto dressing. The antipasto salad is delicious. Great happy hour deals too. The bread sticks with cold butter (a must) becomes rather addicting for such a simple item. Thanks Vinces for being the perfect little local restaurant.

So... We just bought the Entertainment book. Want to check out different places while saving money and we decided on this for tonight. Turns out we'd been here before but after looking at reviews, I got excited about going again. Guess the last time wasn't memorable enough to remind me that I wasn't THAT impressed. The reviews I read tricked me and I went here with an open mind hoping to save money and enjoy great food. Rating - A-OK. Just that's all it was. They had a pool table and some nice recliners but other than that.. The food was alright. Ate the Fettucine alla Caprese with grilled chicken and it was satisfying but probably only worth $8.95 rather than the $13.95 it cost. Employees were fine, nice bar.. But wishing we had gone to Jay Berry's for some Italian instead.

    Still my favorite place-EVER!

We had the Eggplant Parmigiana appetizer, the Bistecca alla Pizzaiola, and the Ravioli al Pesto. The portions were a bit small for the price, but they were reasonable portion sizes regarding how much one "should" eat. The eggplant was quite tasty in a tangy sauce that I assume/hope they use for their pizza, but it had no discernible breading, which is vital to good parmigiana. The steak was tasty, but the sauce with it was kinda boring; the sauce was puttanesca without the olives or capers, which really make that sauce sing. The spaghetti itself was fine, though a bit overcooked. The ravioli were pretty much perfect except for the pasta being somewhat overcooked. The bread service was sad; it was fresh bread, but it was neither warm nor crusty in the Sicilian or Calabrian style. We will be gong back for pizza some time. I hope it is good, but the dough (the most important part of a pizza) may disappoint given what I saw on a table as we left.

Vince's has the BEST pizza in town or anywhere! Treat yourself to a slice or two! A must for any pizza lover! Good service too!

I'm a little biased because I worked for Vince's in the Rainier Beach location for many a years. I LOVE the food. I enjoy going to a place that is quirky like the cool mural painted on the wall and awesome looking bottles. The plastic checkered table clothes are a staple. The hard breadsticks are yummy. Gnocci here is top notch because THEY make it. Most places its been freeze dried or worse. Pizza is good. Calzone is better. Monday nights they have a special that can feed two people with spaghetti and pizza. Sometimes the waitstaff CAN be hit or miss. Vince and Fred rock it here, though the area could be snazzed up more.

When we want real Italian food, made fresh, really fresh, we come here...when we dont want to spend $$$ for dinner, we come here, when we want to see good friends and people I know for as long as I have known my wife, we come here - when we think Italian food and dont want to risk another horrid experience at somewhere "everyone says" is good - we come here - always great, not expensive, not fancy pants - just amazing food - try the puttanesca or arrabiata - simply the best......We love these guys!

I swear if you didn't know this place was here, you probably wouldn't be able to find it! The service on a saturday night was not too bad. We were seated real promptly upon arriving then the server came by to take drink orders then followed by our dinner order. I was actually really satisfied with my entree(Chicken Marsala) which I usually despise because typically the Marsala sauce is more of a sweeter base cream sauce which I am not very fond of, but their Marsala sauce was a perfect balance I thought. However, the Alfredo my kids had was a bit saltly and the Clam spaghetti dish the g/f got was REAL salty! Overall for the price we paid it was decent. Probably one of the better neighborhood restaurant in the area

This is my first time to the Renton location on Sunset BLVD. The restaurant is tucked in the strip mall. SO, it is very easy to miss it. The lunch special is good. I especially like the bottomless hot hot soup and garlic bread (is not bottomless.) BTW, their happy hour is even better. It is from 3 to 6pm. Most of the dishes are 50% off.

    (4)
  • Chukki S.

The food here is pretty decent. But it has that homecooked feel like it's something your mom could make. So then why are you out paying restaurant prices? If you come here on the weekends they have karaoke, but it's usually an older crowd just to warn you.

  • Clayton J.

I am going to start by saying I am not an Italian fan, the women, yes, but not so much the food. However, I grew up on Vince's Pizza and can say from the age of 7-12, you couldn't convince me there was a better pie. The Redmond location closed and I was force to migrate to Pietro's Pizza Hut, Pizza Haven and Alfy's. As an adult I started to eat of the Renton location and Rainer Beach. I've had a couple glimpse of their heyday, but only at the Beach location. I think it's a great place to try out, but it appears that they have started to focus more on the Italian dishes and the pizza has lost it's pop.

I've been eating here since I was a little kid and they had real candles dripping down the wine bottle at the tables. Pizza is the very best thing you can order. The crust makes it. Not fancy. Side rooms can be set up for groups.

Monday nights are THE. BEST. NIGHT. EVER. to go eat at Vince's. They have a great deal on Mondays.... for $17.50, it's a dinner for two. You get your choice of a side salad or the soup of the day, a side of pasta (with or without meat sauce) a medium, one topping pizza, and then dessert (spumoni or vanilla ice cream). With a soda, each, and tax added on, your tab isn't even $25 dollars. And this is GOOD food. There isn't a lot of pizza that I'm crazy about (hard to find a better pizza than Pagliacci) but this place is good. It's a very friendly, family filled atmosphere. Though, they have the place split in two, with a bar on one side... and they do karaoke. Looking forward to many more Monday night dinners up at Vince's.

C'mon you gotta love Vince's...have been going here for years which started because I worked less than a mile away than the MLK location and if you know the area there's not a whole lot of choices down there. I keep going because I like the people and the atmosphere, Vince is pretty cool, and it's just overall a cool place. A little more laid-back/old fashioned than newer restaurants but I like that it's a locally owned place and they've been around a while. Now I live close enough to the Sunset location to walk there although I probably don't go there enough. Have yet to go for Happy Hour although I will soon - the Happy Hour menu looked pretty decent and pretty inexpensive, too.

My wife has been coming here since they opened (about 35 years ago). I've been coming in since I met my wife (about 20 years). We love it. Try the Lemon Veal. I usually order a side of the mushrooms to go along with the veal because they are so good. The owner (Fred) is a real prince and always comes to the table to make sure everything is good. It is always good. Their lunch specials are inexpensive and wonderful. Also love the decor and soft Italian music in the background. We make it down at least three times a month.

It was my birthday. My family wanted to take me out. I was in the mood for Italian. Never been to Vince's. Ugh. First and last time I plan to visit. Waittress Elaine was old and grumpy. Salad was lettuce... that's it! Spaghetti sauce was bland. I've had Ragu that had more flavor. And when you order Family style with meatballs -- you get four medium-sized meatballs -- guess that's one per person! The place seemed popular. Hard to believe. Fellow Yelpers let me down since I checked here first!

Vince's is a gem. I've had better Italian food, but the service, celophane-wrapped breadsticks, lovely rat pack soundtrack and immaculately clean retro dining room, makes Vince's a great experience. I've visited both Ranier Beach and Renton locations and the service, menu and ambiance is consistently solid. The pizza is fantastic and the pasta is good (not great). Forget the schmalz and wasteful portions of a joint like Bucca di Beppo. Vince's is the real thing.

Best Happy Hour prices around. Good Food. I just wish I could get there more often.

  • Sarah F.

The service was great. The manager even stopped by to make sure we were satisfied. The food was good - obviously we're not in Italy so it's not going to be entirely authentic but I've been to Rome and this was close!

  • Antonio R.

The pizza is excellent at Vince's! However, the pasta dishes aren't that good. Great deals during happy hour...a whole bunch of items for only $3.99 each (ie. 8" pizzas, pasta, meatball sub, burgers, etc). The restaurant has kind of a ghetto mafia appeal to it...I like it...I swear I saw Tony Soprano eating at one of the booths. But, I am diggin the vibe at this restaurant.

Good food, reasonable prices, and adequate service -- the server ensured we were supplied with anything we needed. Fair wine and beer menu without being too overly pricey. Decor is an homage to Italy complete with Louis Prima playing through the stereo speakers. Menu selection is varied but not adventurous. Food presentation, portions, etc. is a good value for what it costs you. Worst comments are in regards to the location or setting of the Renton Highlands restaurant. It's tucked behind a bowling alley and situated within a declining strip mall who's tenants include a thrift store and fabric shop. For Renton area pizza and Italian restaurants, I suppose someone would say this competes against a few others located in Downtown Renton (such as Armondo's) and the Amante pizza on Sunset. I rated this as a solid three stars because I have had better elsewhere a few times in my life, but a lot more times, I've had a lot worse elsewhere. With two adult entrees, two kids' plates, an appetizer, two beers, lemonades, and tax and tip, I think the total was about $60 or $15 a person. Without the beers, we could have been down in the sub $50 range or less than $12.50 a person. This is in the low end of the moderate price range, but not much more than what you could spend at some chain restaurants with a lot less character or individualized attention. (Note: a lot of the Entertainment books have 2-for-1 coupons in them for Vince's).

This is a little hole in the wall behind jack in the Box in the Renton. We have visited this place a few times and have never been disappointed with the food. It is nothing complicated but it has great flavor. You will have to add a little salt and pepper if you like over seasoned food. I like my italian food with lots of parm cheese. I have had the pollo saltimbuca and the pollo marsala the last few times. My wife enjoys Gnocci with the pesto cream sauce and the spaghetti carbonera. We usually sit in the bar and the ladies in there attend to your every need. Drinks, appie's, entree's, and dessert's are delivered quickly and with a smile. If you have a hankering for some authentic southern italian food then Vince's is the place. Try their fresh baked bread with melted butter!! WOW. Loved it. Had my first cannoli. Its pretty good! Who new cheese was a good dessert!

This place is magic. ALWAYS good food, doesn't matter what you get (although you may want to order the steamed mushrooms which are delicious). ALWAYS great service, you will never be thirsty or go too long without atleast your soup or salad after you are seated. I recommend this location in particular.

My spouse and I have lived in Newcastle for 15 years, and just happened across Vince's on Sunset Blvd. several months ago. We really enjoy the low key atmosphere, the quaint and charming decor, and the courteous, friendly staff. Since discovering Vince's, we've gone to dine there numerous times, bringing many different guests with us (family and friends). We and our guests have always enjoyed the food, the surroundings, and the value for the dollar. We've sampled a vast number of Vince's menu items, from appetizers, to entrees, to deserts, and have yet to have anything unsatisfactory. We think the menu offerings at Vince's are as good or better than comparable restaurants we've patronized for the same price category. We recommend giving Vince's a try and let your palate decide... ::: E ::: ::: N ::: ::: J ::: ::: O ::: ::: Y ::: ::: ! :::

I always feel a little guilty going out for pasta - seeing as it isn't that hard to make it at home. But honestly, Vince's is worth it! This is a classic Italian joint - if you didn't know better, you'd think that you were in Brooklyn. The tables are covered in red and white checks and when you are seated by the warm hostess - you will be given bread sticks and butter. Yum! What's better than butter? Pasta that's been homemade and been cooked to a perfect al dente. The sauce is always flavorful, filling, and complex. Pizza and calzones are always good as well. This is equally great for families (I grew up going to the Rainier Beach location) as it is for dates.

great food seriously awesome. the reason for the two star reduction is because "Vince" seems to be a bit arrogant. "vince" does not allow for any changes to you mean example I just wanted extra garlic. they told me no Vince doesn't alter meals. Thank god I am not allergic to anything. secondly because their flatware cups and tables are often still dirty and they has been more than one time my fork has had crusted food on it and my cup has had lip and hand marks on them Lastly because they tend to serve warm drinks. My ice tea and water never has more than 2 cubs in it and I really can't tell the difference between the water and the ice by taste it is so light. They are lucky that the food is quite great and the bread is yummy too

  • Mary B.

I love Vince's. It is a great place for homey italian food and some pretty tasty pizza. My favorites are the pesto pizza and the minestrone soup (which is not vegetarian thanks to some beef broth, but that might be why it tastes so great...). They also have very tasty pasta. Anyone coming through the door should not expect five star dining, or gourmet dishes, but some nice service and tasty food.

Oh my gosh, my husband and I went here last Saturday night and we will not be back! The service was awful! The time before this it was also terrible. The waitress would disappear for long periods of time and when she went by our table she was on her way to another group and completely ignored us! Getting a pop refill was pretty rare. No bread was brought to us or even asked if we wanted any! Then the kicker was when she brought the calzones we ordered and, believe me, they were NOT calzones! The dough was folded over maybe 1/3 of the way and the "filling" was about 1/4 what it used to be. The part of the dough that didn't have filling was very undercooked. We refused to eat them. This is after being there for nearly an hour! We were told that this is how they now make their calzones! Well, we ordered a pizza and that was good. The party next to us had a calzone and she couldn't even cut through it because the bottom was so black! They really need to get their act together or they will be out of business. And that would be a sad day! We won't be back to this location again.... Ever!

I suppose you could call me a regular Friday night Karaoker at Vinces. I pretty much know the whole crew there, and most of the regulars. Vince's has a set of amazing bartenders and waitresses, but I am impartial to my close friend Jenn and the beautifully wonderful bartender Katie. They Rock! My cup is never empty at Vince's! And as prices are concerned they are quite reasonable, I am never shocked at close out time. It's one of those places that you say you'll only be out at for a couple hours and end up staying until closing. Even if you have never been there everyone is very welcoming, and by the end of the night you will have a whole new set of friends. I have seen them go through a few karaoke hosts but at the moment Triple J and Michelle Lay are throwing down some awesome karaoke fun, and almost everyone that gets up to the mic rocks it! This makes for a very enjoyable evening. There is only one pool table, but the pace usually goes pretty quick, you just might not get to play whomever you want, as some of the older gentleman that play take it very seriously and when they win they get the table for whomever wants to play next. The food there is also something to shout about.... Lets try that again.... Something to SHOUT about! Much better My favorites there are the Ravioli al Pesto, Eggplant Parmigiana, amazing pizza's and the most wonderful Minestrone soup! I have just recently become addicted to their sandwiches as well, I pretty much like them all. I have been going to Vince's for about 5 years now, its one of those places that just warms your heart and feels like home. Can't seem to get away, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is tucked away in a strip mall which can make it difficult to find but it is well worth the trip. Now my whole pitch here is in regards to the lounge but the restaurant is also very nice and the staff is very attentive and very nice. And the food comes out very quickly. Great place to be!

Like most native New Yorkers (New York City), we think no one knows how to make pizza like a New York Pizzaria. Well I've been out of New York for a long time and no one really makes New York Pizza (I think its in the water). Anyway there is lots of good pizza out there... not New York Pizza... but pretty dam good. At home (Reno) my favorites are Noble Pie (2nd Street) and Wild Garlic (Mt. Rose Street). Two totally different pizzas, but both really good. So here I am in Renton WA and pizza was the way everyone wanted to go. So we went to Vince's Italian, although I've been here before. And the pizza is pretty good. Buy 3 get the 4th free. So 3 of us had individual pizza and the 4th is in the frig for someone' midnight snack. Other members of our party went for various pasta dishes... all of which were excellent. Guess I'll come back again on my next trip to Renton. There, are, howeer, lots of good restaurants around here.and neighboring towns to try.

Very traditional, family Italian-American restaurant. The restaurant is in a weird location in a strip mall behind a Jack in the Box on the Sunset Hill in Renton. This place is obviously a neighborhood favorite as it always has a healthy crowd even though they have several large dining spaces. It's definitely not the same service expertise or designer ambiance of some place in the city, but if you value cozy, family-owned places over trendy spots, this is a sure bet for you! The basket of bread is pretty basic white french bread, and the starter salad just seems like a pre-mixed blend that's added to a plate, but the pasta dishes and sauces are quite tasty and flavorful! Like most family places, they value sharing some of their favorite "comfort foods" rather than spending a lot of time on presentation and experience. Foodies might be underwhelmed by this place, but it is a solid meal in a nice, neighborhood vibe when you're craving Italian food made with love!

The staff is amazing! Can't begin to explain the outstanding customer service. Food is always awesome, (never had anything I don't like and trust me, I've been here quite a few times hehehe) 10/10. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Been here a few times and haven't been disappointed with the food or service. Their rigatoni is so good! Tonight we had Dan as our server and he was by far the best we've had. Very attentive and gave us great customer service especially for being the last and only customers for the night. Happy customers!

Our waitress was pretty friendly and attentive. Good service overall, I think she might have been the only waitress on for the night for a Sunday. The breadsticks at our table were individually packaged... Kind of like those handy snacks breadsticks with a cheese dip, except bigger. We ordered bruschetta, lasagna, and a Caesar side salad to share. The bruschetta was just cherry tomatoes sprinkled with Italian seasoning on bread. The bread was too buttery/oily and not toasted enough for me. I don't know what I was expecting. The side salad was comprised of a few sad leaves, one shave of a carrot, and a downpour of Caesar dressing. My poor bf had to work around the dressing and tried to eat from under it. The lasagna came out in a pool of extra sweet and oily tomato sauce. It really tasted like canned ravioli in the form of lasagna or one of those frozen stouffers. What a fail. I ate about an inch and called it quits.

  • Lorna N.

Giving this place a two because the service had been great the last two times I was there. Food, not so much. The minestrone soup is definitely one of the best I've had. Wish I could say the same for my watery spaghetti. When they brought it out, my pasta was so watery that I'm convinced they didn't drain the pasta properly or they just didn't care...or both. Tasteless sauce..very disappointed. After finishing his chicken Marsala, my boyfriend had to dash to the restroom because of the massive stomach ache he had. I felt so bad for him considering the time before when we were here with his parents and grandparents, he had a clump of clay/dirt in his salad that got stuck to his teeth. The salad wasn't very green either. Had some brown edges. Save yourself the disappointment and go to Maggiano's instead. They have way better food and despite the amount of food we ate there, we didn't get a stomach ache after our meal. That HAS to tell you something..

Yea - It's Vince's. You go here when you want Italian food. The pizza is excellent. There are a lot of coupons out there for BOGO at dinner time, so save some cash why dontcha? There are also a shit ton of old people eating here. Or maybe just a white-haired convention. every. time. I. go. Remember that time on the Soprano's when Artie Bucco had to issue coupons for Nuovo Vesuvio? The Chicken Marsala will make you want to roll around on the plate. But don't. The real oddity is the lack of portion control of the creamy pesto dressing on your side salad. They consistently put a lot on. Not that that's a bad thing, but I feel weird about it - like, is everyone looking at me thinking I ordered this much dressing? I also like the pesto gnocchi. But every time I get it, I think am I really going to eat this much f*ckin gnocchi? Yes, I will eat this much f*ckin gnocchi. And then, of course, there are the painted murals on the wall. They're wonderful in a whited-haired greatest generation sort of way.

We go here when we can't figure out where else to go. The service is ALWAYS slow from getting seated to actually getting our food. The waitresses pay so-so attention. They seem to have issues with their card reader because EVERY time we go they have an issue with our debit card and last time our credit card. (it's not us... there is money there).... The spaghetti sauce is watery and somewhat tasteless. I agree with the gal below, at least cook your own breadsticks... you are Italian for goodness sake. The last time I went was... probably the last time I will go. It took 15 minutes to get a bill so we could pay to leave and another 15 checking out! I asked for the manager, never came... Yeah.... there are other places.... the salad has NO tomatoes, the dressing is thick and too much of it... yeah, no..... try Maggiano's. Their food is awesome and prices are good if you bring a coupon from Groupon. They rock.

Vince's has been there forever. All Around good food. Wait staff is super friendly. the bar is not "the best". Its kinda like a local hang out place if you will. Though, they make good drinks and have Karaoke! The restaurant is sometimes on the darker side, maybe for the Italian romantic feel. They also have a large room to host larger groups!

Stopped by on Mother's Day with the familia. My little sis lives in the area and chose Vince's because it's one of her favorites --- swell choice sis! It doesn't look fancy from the outside, but this place is awesome. You can see the family history in framed photographs and paintings. GREAT pizza - we had the Vince's Special with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and green peppers. I approve. Calzone was also stellar - dad tried it for the first time and if he enjoys something new, it's a big freakin' deal. (Which he did.) Service was awesome - waiter with partly shaved head was really professional and friendly. The servers wore ties and long-sleeved white shirts. What's classy in Italian? *shrug* Anyway we had a great time. My mom was all "happy wife, happy life" as we left (no.. she wasn't); it was pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon. Sister says they get super slammed at night and that reservations are required. I'd take her word for it!!

I'm giving a five because th foods never disappointed me and the service has always been great! Whether sitting next to a screaming baby or a kid who won't shut up that the parents apparently cant see or hear..omg wait was that CASPER!?!?! during dinner hour(come on people it's DINNER at a ITALIAN restaraunt. Not cool on a date, Though very good birth control method) or people who douse themselves in perfume because I assume they don't know soap is(M.C.S. aside, I dont want to taste or ingest your chemicals as I eat),the staff never has a problem accommodating a move. I've been here a couple times and never had a problem with service whether it's speed, satisfaction, or their attitude. Their drinks are nice and strong and the clams are a good choice. Can't go wrong with clams!! Never had the pizza but it looks good, next time...

This place has authentic cuisine that is also delicious. Their service team could use some work, but they were adequate. Try their pesto.

Here with large groups and I admit some in the group were challenging. Waitress handled the challenging party members with grace but overall service was somewhat slow. Some highs and lows, chicken Parmesan was awesome but the pasta on the side was stone cold and sauce was thin and bitter. Sauce served with garlic breadsticks was good so not sure why such a difference, garlic breadsticks were good but bread served with meal was not great. Creamy pesto dressing was great but served over limp greens not so good. limoncello cheesecake and tiramisu mousse were both very good.

I was REALLY not impressed with this place. My husband and I came here a while ago because we hadn't been there together (I'd been there a few years prior.) The salad was alright, your typical diner style salad. At least we had our drinks filled. The food itself was just not worth it. I felt there was just very little flavor to the sauces. I mean, really, I could have just bought some Ragu and saved the time and money. The server was nice, and I appreciate that. But I couldn't appreciate the individually wrapped "Breadstick" crackers. I mean, okay, call me picky, but I just don't see why it's so hard to keep some pizza dough to the side and bake your sticks fresh, or keep some in a warmer. Or invest in the long breadstick crackers and bring it out in a little vase or something. Either way, I came, I saw, and I am not intruiged enough to go back. But if it's any consolation, as I said, the server was nice.

If you're looking to step back in time for an Italian restaurant, then this is the place! It's been around since Jesus was a boy as far as I know. The mural on the wall is a dead giveaway that this place has been handed down through a generation or two. Their food is good. The pizza deal is what we go for. Buy 3, get the 4th on free. Our favorite is the Bianca, the white pizza. Lots of garlic and onions and yumminess. That plus a glass or two or three of wine and you've got a great evening.

We recently had a Baby Shower at Vince's Renton. Excellent food and great customer service from booking event down to the excellent service given by our server Lindsey! The menu included ravioli, spaghetti with meat sauce and of coarse Vince's yummy Pizza! This is a great place to enjoy family and friends with the bonus of an excellent authentic Italian meal. I would recommend Vince's to anyone! Thank you Vince's for making my daughters Baby Shower extra special! Again my compliments to our server Lindsey!

We tried other Italian restaurants in the area, but a lot of them were too fancy and expensive for us. The prices here are very reasonable. They also do take-out orders so you can call in but they don't deliver. I highly recommend trying out the cheese pizza on your first outing and deciding from there.

From a great greeting from the hostess, to super smiles and friendliness from the server to a horrible crunch in meatball (which my friend heard, by the way) that just put me off this place for a while...and it was a first time venture. My friend had to send back her Primavera because it was bland and tasteless. She said that it's happened the past few times she's been there - she has had to send her food back and the second time around it comes back perfectly. While I enjoyed my penne pasta, the meatball crunch put me off even trying to finish the penne. Should I have complained? Maybe. Did I want to? No. I just paid the bill and have made a mental note to not come back to this location. They have a closer location (to me) called Pizzaria Pulcinella - hopefulliy they'll be better than Vince's.

I've had awfully "good luck" ordering from d-dish.com in Portland, one of those restaurant home delivery marketing companies. Delivered Dish signs up restaurants, supplies back end ordering/menu software, and arranges delivery of restaurant menu items direct to your house for a small fee. Most large cities have a similar service, and on a business trip to suburban Seattle recently, I checked out their version, 2 Go Services. I don't know if there is any relationship between the Portland and Seattle outfits, but they do use the same "back end" and your sign-on will work with either service. In Seattle, we tried our luck with Vince's, a 50 year-old Italian restaurant and pizzeria. Our interaction with the delivery service went as easily as when we use the Portland company. Quick ordering, no mistakes on the order, delivery received within a reasonable amount of time. We ordered a pizza, the half/half pasta (ravioli/spaghetti) with a meatball, and accompanied by a side-salad, and an appetizer of cheese/potato croquettes. I had hoped to 'surprise' Mrs. Burgerdogboy with the croquettes, give her a little taste memory of her favorite junk food in Amsterdam, but the similarity ended with the name. In this instance, they are Vince's version of fried cheese sticks, and while good, they bear no resemblance to their Dutch namesake. No matter. The pasta was good, and the meatball exemplary. For the money, I personally thought the serving size could have been ramped up a bit. The pizza, however, is one of my new favorites, and I'd order it again, given the opportunity. I went with a medium size sausage and pepperoni, and the crust was Neapolitan style, hand-made, crispy outee, chewy innee. The sausage was a similar recipe to the meatball, hand-pulled small chunks, and the pepperoni was small diameter thin-slices, with a nice smoky flavor. The entire pizza experience gave me the impression of "old-timey" pizza, and I don't imagine the recipe or prep method has changed much in Vince's 50 years. A solid 7 out of 8 possible slices on the pizza!

Cute little hole in the wall. First time dining here and very satisfied. On a Saturday night with no reservations, we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes to get a table. Nice ambiance. Checkered red and white table cloths and murals of places in Italy on the wall gave it a no fuss, casual feel. It would have been nice if there were votives on the tables though. Friendly hostess, great server (Patrice), and good food. The thing that I thought was cute and funny at the same time, was the cup full of bread sticks in their wrappers and butter. I don't know why, but it made me smile. I ordered the Rigatoni stuffed with Italian sausage in a white sauce, served with broccoli. I've never tried it before so I can't compare it to others but I liked it. I think what made this place a new favorite of ours, was not only the food being good, but that our server Patrice was so friendly, attentive and personable. We had good conversation and she brought my nephew a complimentary ice cream to help celebrate his birthday. What a nice ending to a great dining experience.

Went here in hopes of finding a hole in the wall with good food.... This place has slow service. Served with a lot of attitude. .. we sat there for 20 mins. Only to get up to talk to the lady behind the bar... who says we can't order from her unless we were sitting at the bar... that would be great, if there was room at the bar. I looked over to see the ONLY waitress there chopping up with home dude like she was trying to get laid. The waitress and I even made eye contact. And still she didn't come over to take our order. We sat for another 10 minutes trying to be patient. But left not too long after. Worst mom and pop restaurant experience ever! Stay clear if you're not white or a black male. IJS! They get no stars!

I enjoy going to Vince's especially when Connie is taking care of us. I love her to pieces. My husband loves their Spaghetti a Vongole and I have several favorites. These favorites include Penne all'Arrabbiata, Ham and Mushroom Fettuccine Alfredo, and Chicken Marsala which are delicious. But Vince's pizzas are the best. Both my husband and I love the smokey pepperoni they use. Vince's signature Minestrone soup is delicious with a lunch special of bottomless bowl of soup and garlic bread for $6. You can't beat that for a cold rainy day in Renton.

Every time I go here, I love it. My grandpa took me one year for my birthday, and that particular visit stands out the most. My grandfather lived in Italy for a while and even he said that the food was great! The service is always great, the food is delicious. My favorite is the gnocchi in pesto. But the pizza is wonderful as well. Prices are understandable and the decor and style is very sweet and Italian. Vince's is a great date spot but also awesome for the whole family. I hope to come by soon for some gnocchi! :)

I have ate here 3 times...my advice....stick to the pizza. I ordered a large mixed green salad and it was mixed greens, tomatoes and olives...that it. No carrot, no red onion, no croutons. It was green all right. Another time I ordered a pasta dish.....very bland sauce. I'm not a chef but I can make food look better and taste better than Vince's.

Walked in and no hostess was there. She then arrived a few moments later. Seated us and gave out these packaged cracker breadsticks with butter (not a fan). Server was on time all night. Me and my girlfriend ordered half spaghetti half ravioli, minestrone, bruschetta, and cannoli for dessert. The server then gave out bread and butter, but the bread was very cold; tasted okay with butter. The minestrone bowl was extremely small for 5 dollars And tasted like canned soup. The spaghetti and ravioli was average tasting, sauce was really sweet. The bruschetta dish( had tomatoes on toasted bread with basil and olive oil) was good a gateway food for liking tomatoes. The Italian soda was on point. The cannoli was very good also for the first time having it. It's an okay Italian restaurant but I have for sure been to better italian restaurants.

My boyfriend and I have 3 places we will order pizza in Renton. Vince's is by Far the best pizza in town. We usually order a couple cold beers and get the pizza "half cooked" and uncut-then take it home pop it in the oven at 425 for maybe 10 min. It turns out just like the pizza was delivered right to our table in the restaurant. Also, we recommend the chicken Cesar salad and many other menu items. Very very good local Italian food! OK edit! Came in tonight for the usual split a sandwich and a beer while we wait for our half cooked pizza... Waited 10 min for our 2/3 FULL Shock top beer...went back and asked for another splash... It is after all 4.50 a beer. It was completely flat! Sandwich had hardly anything on it for 8 bucks. I went back to the bartender she days "now What!?" Long story short she called BS that the beer was flat (I had ONE sip) we order 2 Sam Adams seasonal. Server comes back with 2 Heferwiesen....I say we ordered Sam Adams...she looks at me an walks away. And I hear the bartender blaming the new guy ' Elliot' talk about passing the buck. It wasn't even busy. I didn't mention I had to get my own napkins. Ugh....debating on whether or not to even order out our usual pizza half cooked to go. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Vince's STEP IT UP!

I have been to Vince's several times at this location and once in Burien. I am from the East Coast and am Italian so I have my Bias when it comes to Italian food. I do not want to give a bad review based on my own cooking styles or tastes. Service is always good and pretty fast. Waiters and waitresses are always friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is a little out dated and old but that's OK. My favorite drink is a Long Island Iced tea. The one they make here is not the way it should be made. If the owner reads this, here is the recipe: Start with a large Collins glass. fill with ice, pour 1/2 ounce each of the 4 clear liquors(gin,Vodka,Tequila,Rum) 1/2 ounce of triple sec is sometimes added for a little orange taste, 1-2 ounce's of sweet and sour, top with a squirt of coke or pepsi and garnish with a lemon slice. I do not think they use any sweet and sour at Vince's, and the glass is too small. Very strong drink! :( I ordered chicken Parmigiana and a side salad with blue cheese. The salad was just greens and a few piece's of cabbage. No tomato, onion, or anything else that would make the salad more colorful and tasty. Salad dressing tasted like it was out of a bottle. Chicken was tenderized too much and over cooked (very thin and chewy) The sauce was not like my own of course so I cannot criticize it too much but it was pretty tasteless, watery, and slightly bitter. Penne was prepared properly. Portion was ok. I have had their cannoli's , these are very good. Overall good food when I am hungry and don't want to cook for myself. Not too far from my home so easier than going downtown Bellevue or Seattle for better Italian food.

I had the pesto ravioli, it was good. nothing exceptional. I personally like my pesto with alot of garlic, this one was okay. not bursting with flavor but not bland. maybe just a bit more garlic and more cheese then it would be great! the pizza was good though.

Pretty impressed for a small mom & pop place! We stopped for dinner on a Saturday night cuz we wanted "good pizza," not the kind that comes in a box. We ordered two mediums for the 4 of us & it was just enough with a few pieces left over. The kids had Hawaiian & said it was really good. We adults got the Margherita one I think it was called? With fresh basil, chopped tomatoes, & mozzerella...... plus we had em add sliced prosciutto. YUUUUMMM!!! They even brought us an extra little bowl of basil & a side of their special creamy pesto sauce for dipping. I was surprised there was only one other table of patrons at the time, but it sounded like the lounge was pretty busy from what we could hear. My daughter was disappointed that she couldn't participate in the karaoke as it sounded like they were having a great time in the bar! :)

Lived in Renton for a long time and never knew this place existed! Loving Italian food, I came in with some friends. Between us was a cheese pizza, a ravioli dish and a pasta dish with their potato croquette appetizer. It was very satisfying. I have to say the pizza was my favorite. The sauce to cheese ratio was great and the crust was just right. Id come back again and get something else to try

Stopped in with my wife in beginning of February to utilize a coupon I received for my birthday by signing up on their website, but I've been going to Vince's in Burien for over 20 years and this location the last 8 years. When we arrived we were greeted by Connie, large older woman, who did not appear to be happy at all. She directed my wife and I to a booth and left before we were even seated. When we did begin to sit down, I realized the booth seat was wet, and my wife did as well. We had dressed up for the occasion and we were just told to sit down in a wet booth that had just been wiped down with cleaning solution? The place wasn't busy, only 3 other groups, so she could have placed us at any of the other empty booths, but chose to put us in the one that was just wiped down and still wet? I informed Connie that the booth seats were wet and asked if there was a "dry booth" that we could be seated. She was busy cleaning off another table and barely looked up only, just snapped back "Sit where ever you want!" Not so much as an apology or even made the effort to direct us to a dry booth. I looked at her but she just continued about her business cleaning. This is how Vince's wants their customer's treated? I was appalled and wanted to leave but we were hungry so we moved to a different section and sat ourselves. A young waitress Liz L came with menus. Fortunately for us we were no longer in Connie's section. What a difference. Liz was very friendly, attentive and took care of my wife and I very well, making our dining experience pleasant enough instead of the disaster that it started with Connie. Liz should be commended for her customer service, and as for Connie, the management should think carefully about her representing the restaurant unless they want to lose business. As far as the food goes, we ordered a Caesar salad and split it, followed by the Minestrone soup, which was quite warm and tasty. I had the Pollo Contadina Chicken breasts, mushrooms, artichokes, onion, wine and cream. Served over fettuccine which was quite delicious. My wife had the Fettuccine Positano Prawns sautéed in olive oil, garlic & spices with fresh tomatoes and a touch of cream also quite delicious. The food never seems to disappoint, but the beginning the service was less than acceptable, so much so I sent feed back via the website. I received a timely response: "Please accept my apology for the poor experience with one of our staff members. We take these types of complaints very seriously so you can be assured that we have followed up on this matter." "I was happy to know that Liz was able turn the experience around and meet your service expectations of Vince's. I appreciate you contacting us and also for being a loyal guest of Vince's for so many years." Sincerely, Vince Mottola So it would appear that it did not fall on deaf ears, so kudos!

I ate at Vince's before and thought it was better. Last time I had the eggplant parmagiano, but this time I ordered the veal. It was too dry. The service we had was also pretty slow and the restaurant didn't seem to be THAT busy. For better Italian food in Renton, I'd suggest visiting Vino Ristorante Italiano.

  • Candice F.

The service was great. The waitress was nice, attentive, and checked in on us often throughout dinner. I liked the casual and family-friendly atmosphere. However, I did wish that the booths were a little sturdier. Every time the person sitting behind me got up or moved, the back rest we shared also moved. Although I loved the service, the food was not impressive at all but okay for the price. Their salad dressing had good flavor but seemed watered down. They provided complimentary thin cracker breadsticks and bread. The breadsticks were yummy, but loaf was cold and stale. The veal parmigiana tasted like it was previously frozen and reheated in the microwave. I did like the cannelloni though. I guess the best part of the dinner was the breadsticks, which can probably be picked up at the grocery store.

My husband and I were big fans of the Vince's in Rainier Beach. It was just a short ride from our home. It was on the Passport card (which got us 2-for-1 meals). Food was consistently a-ok. We went there often enough that we got to be known by the wait staff. When the Rainier Beach location closed, we were genuinely sad to leave our old friends. So, having some errands to do in Renton one recent weeknight, we finally decided to give the Renton Vince's a try. We were early (arriving just about 5:00 PM) and were surprised to see the place nearly full already. But, we were immediately seated in a comfy corner booth. Drinks were ordered and served. Food soon followed. As at the Rainier Beach location, the food here is not gourmet. But, it is good, basic (yes, Americanized) Italian and it hit the spot. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Glad we, at long last, made the trek to the Renton Vince's. We find ourselves in Renton often for one reason or another. And, I definitely foresee stopping in again.

Very good place. Service has been great the two times i have been there. I even went in about 45 minutes before closing, and my wife and i thought service and food may be lacking because so late. We were the only ones in the place but out waitress took great care of us and the food was really good and not lacking at all. The only down side to this place is there is no garlic Cheese bread. That could be because most of their items are very authentic Italian, but out of the 7 dishes i have tasted they were all really great. It makes it hard to choose what to order. Pizza's were also good....i did notice they had a lot of customer picking up take out pizza so they are popular.

Another great meal thanks to Yelp! Comfort food at it's best, everything was delicious, and even though we got there one half hour before closing, we were not rushed through our meal. We would have never found this place, located in a small strip mall, without the recommendations from Yelp. Everyone was very friendly, and the service was great.

Went here when my late night hunger got to me. We went to the bar, which looked very busy, but found it to be a party of some sort. It was around 11pm when we got there, and found out they have Happy Hour food on the weekends (just no HH drink prices), which was exactly what i was looking for. I opted for the pesto pasta with sausage and an order of the breadsticks. The pasta was soo yummmmy! Just the right amount of pesto, and the sausage that came with it, was amazingly good. Probably the best sausage I have had in awhile. The breadsticks with marinara sauce was just as good (maybe a tad salty, but for that moment, they were soft and chewy...just how I like it..). Me and my borfriend cant wait to go back for another HH moment, maybe when they have drink specials too! You should definitely check out Vince's!

A group of 4 of us ate here Sunday Sept. 14, 2014 about 5:30 PM. Going here was based on the recommendation of one in the group who had liked the place several years ago. However, upon entering it appeared to have morphed from a restaurant into a sports bar with several large screen TVs playing at loud volume, in competition with background music playing old tunes. We asked the waitress to turn down the volume of the TVs so we only had to listen to the background music. After receiving our food, my partner found her penne pasta to have terribly watered down tomato sauce - the part she took home she had to add canned spaghetti sauce to it to make it edible. My egg plant was like eating rubber - way overpriced. The other couple was not happy with their food either, although I do not recall what they had. The small breadsticks were stale and packaged in cellophane wrappers - really bad/cheap. The only thing OK was the bottled beer - its difficult to screw up something like that. In addition there were a few bugs flying around our table, keeping us waving our arms in the air. We all vowed to never return to this place. The food quality was poor. They should stop serving food and turn it into a bar - seems like a great place for alcoholics with no tastebuds. I had never been there before and I will never go again. I could not wait to get out. It seems the owners think noisy big screen TVs for sports is more important than having decent food.

Just got off the phone with Nancy, a manager. Decided to give them a try even though a friend told me they were "ok" because the wife and I have been on an authentic margherita pizza kick since seeing it on TV. I noticed they were promoting a "buy one get one pizza half one" deal online. I asked her if they'd honor it and she told me I would have to have the coupon. I told her I didn't understand the logic in stopping at a kinko's or something just to produce a piece of paper, last I checked, promotions are to intice customers to try the product (says something about the product?) but she refused still. Too many restaurants out there, too many good restaurants at that to put up with ignorance. Epic fail, move on, get your authentic margherita pizza somewhere else.

This looks like a hole-in-the-wall but believe me, it would make a good place to showcase on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives"! YUMMY pizza with chewy crust - try the Margarite one. Crispy crust with just the right "floppy" middle section. Perfect for folding up and chowing down. The pasta is delish and the wait staff has always been polite and on the ball. Usually a mix of familys, seniors, and people out on a date. I plan on taking my 3 year old here soon as he would feel very welcome and I am sure would love the buttered noodles from the kid's menu. YUMMY place for dinner or take-out pizza. (Super deal alert ~ If you have a Boeing passport you can buy one entree and get one free on each visit!)

Delicious food, sloooow service! If you let them know you need to be somewhere in a hurry they will get you out before you grow old, but be aware of this going in! They have been a local favorite forever though, and for good reason. Nice family place with delicious food at a reasonable price.

It was my birthday yesterday and my boyfriend and I decided to come here. We have been a few times and it was beyond great, but not on my special day. It started out with them being out of fried calamari, OK that sucked but we shrugged it off. I don't need the extra calories anyway. Then our cesar salad came and I know that cesar dressing has anchovies in it, but our dressing tasted like fish, old fish eww. At least the fresh baked bread sticks were good. But then our Fettuccine ala Caprice came it was heavy tasting and dry on top. Overall I had a one star dining experience even the service kinda sucked. Our server pretty much ignored us.

You have to love the Monday night special here. 2 salads, 2 small pastas a small pizza and 2 ice creams for $18! Awesome deal. I love Italian food, this place has some of my favorite spaghetti. Their marinara sauce is delicious! I've been going here for as long as a can remember. Their pizza is awesome as well.

By far the best Italian restaurant in Renton! I have never had to complain about my food, it always comes out perfect. The only thing I can wish for is that one day their minestrone soup can have vegetable broth instead beef broth. (I am vegetarian). They also have very tasty wine. If you're looking for great authentic Italian food look no longer, and go to Vince's!

I want to like this place. It isn't far from home. It has the same family feeling and decor of the Italian places where I grew up. The menu is heavy on all the things I normally love--ravioli, meatballs, red sauce, pasta, veal, etc. But the dishes I've had over the years are flavorless or have an odd, off flavor. I love Italian food. I love the red sauce and pasta--usually, but not here. The quality is sub par. Time for them to get on a plane and visit Napoli, where their roots are, so they can get back in synch with what real Italian food tastes like.

This is absolutely the WORST place I have ever been. If I could give it zero stars I would. We sat in the bar which actually has a cute decor to it. It's all decorated for Halloween, dimly lit, just your little hole in the wall place. The waitress came over and I let her know we were ready to order (Neither myself nor my husband had eaten all day and we were starving). We order our drinks and an appetizer. As I'm trying to tell her what we want to eat she said she was going to put our appetizer and drink order in first and would come back for our dinner order. Problem was: she never came back to take our order until after we had eaten our appetizer. We had the bruchetta as our appetizer all it was, was a tomato cut in quarters with seasoning sprinkled on it. Really? After we had sat there with empty plates she FINALLY came over and took our order which was pasta and soup. She came over 20 minutes later letting us know that our soup was being warmed. Are you kidding me??? At this point I was so hungry and annoyed I didn't care, I just wanted my food. She brings us our main entree and soup together about 45 minutes after we had finished our appetizer. My food was disgusting, and the soup was Luke warm. My husband ordered lasagna which looked good, too bad the inside was completely cold! He sent back his food and we were both so grumpy we just wanted to leave. She kept reminding us she didn't charge us for his lasagna and I'm just thinking oh how kind of you to not charge us for something the cook messed up on. What I can't figure out is how/why it took SO long for us to receive our food and it Still came out cold and disgusting? All in all it was horrible service (which takes a lot for me to say, as I usually am quite understanding as I used to waitress) and the food was terrible.

I really, really want to give Vince's five stars. I really do. It's old-world budget Italian on red-checkered vinyl tablecloths. It's simple, hearty, quick, and decent. It's a great casual Italian meal that can turn any meeting into a good time...but only if you're with friends and loved ones. Don't go here alone; get take-out only. My dad and I have gone to Vince's a couple of times and loved it. I've also been here for someone's 40th birthday party, which was great fun. It's just like the places Dad remembers from his days growing up in NYC: cheap, simple, ample platters of spaghetti served by Italians who were more into quantity than quality. Love the old-school packaged breadsticks and Parmesan shakers. But when I've gone to Vince's alone, I struggle to get any attention at all. I'm not the kind of person to go to a restaurant alone and order a glass of seltzer and a toothpick; I order plenty, and I'm polite and tip very generously (up to a third) for decent service. Last time I went, a server whose name is only "Lun L." on my ticket ignored me so badly that her co-workers took pity on me. A waitress from a completely different section finally noticed my bone-dry water glass and refilled it. I didn't see Lun from the time I ordered until she flicked my check onto the table. I saw her schmoozing plenty with other tables in her section, but never mine. Seriously, people. Stop ignoring the Girl Dining Alone. She has a computer and she's not afraid to use it. She also has plenty of money, and likes to both eat and tip generously. You're only hurting yourself when you decide she's not worth your time. Since I can't get people to come with me to dine in Renton very often (my friends and family live well outside of Renton), I just don't want to bother going someplace where my business doesn't mean anything unless I'm in a group.

"Prices subject to change without notice"? Are they hurting for business that much? Absolutely ridiculous. A LUNCH portioned Chicken Cesar salad was 12.50.

  • Chukki S.

The food here is pretty decent. But it has that homecooked feel like it's something your mom could make. So then why are you out paying restaurant prices? If you come here on the weekends they have karaoke, but it's usually an older crowd just to warn you.

Great customer service, nice and helpful waiters. My favorite is their chicken al limone! They have the best minestrone soup by far in my area.

Came here again and always good food. Service was attentive but food took longer than usual. It was worth the wait.

Expensive for a plate of pasta and sauce, but I think that is to be expected of any Italian Restaurant. The food is good and the service is excellent. During the dinner rush, it gets really loud in the dinning room and I think its interesting that there are no windows to bring in natural light. The pizza is great!

Thank you!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
