OMG! This is an amazing gem...I can't believe it's been here all this while! My first foray into Thai Food was in 1999, at the Thai Bamboo in San Jose...seldom have I found a place as good. Sip Thai blows every other Tahi restaurant I've ever been to, right out of the water! Drunken Noodles - 6* out of 5 Sip Thai fried rice - 5* out of 5 Pad Thai - 5* out of 5 The ambience is modern, albeit a bit cramped. They've made the most of available space. A bummer that some of the tables are alongside the kitchen, separated by a thin 2/3rds wall...which means you'll have to speak up to be heard by your fellow table-mate. The service is courteous, and FAST! All in all, a great place for a quick lunch or dinner. Pro tip: call ahead and ask for a table by the front window. These are the best seats in the house. Nope, the view ain't great (opens to the parking lot)...but you're away from the kitchen. My overall rating is for the food (only).

Service is excellent. Very friendly like family, quick and spot on. Place is small but nice. Outdoor tables are great for friend gathering on a good day. I was somewhat disappointed by the food. Feels like made by a skillful home cook instead of professional chef. Don't take me wrong - it tasted fine and some people may prefer home style cooking, but I am not coming to a restaurant for that. Regardless of personal taste, the dishes are overpriced. Not sure it's because of the location (close to cinema) though. I'll probably go again some time with friends (this time I went by myself), try different dishes, and see if the non-food factors are worth the price.

Adding this to my list of favorite Thai places in the area. The space is clean and bright despite its nondescript location. Side note - also adding this to the list of good finds that I've stumbled upon in strip malls in Redmond! The food is fresh with bright flavors, and the beautiful presentation adds to the enjoyment of dining here. Try the rotating seasonal specials as well - last time, it was soft shell crab with pad thai, which was tasty and a bit different. The service was spot on - they were kind enough to add an extra summer roll to our appetizer order so each person at the table could have their own, and they even served us free samples of tea during our meal. Which reminds me, their tea selection is great! You get a pot to steep at the table with 3 refills of water. Lovely place overall.

Omg! I love this place, I work across the street and I come here for lunch all the time. The food alway taste amazing and the presentation of the food is always on point. The portion they give you is prefect. I love how the food comes out super fast too. Everyone who works here are so amazing and super friendly. My favorite dish here is the Tom Yum noodle soup! So I highly recommend this place if your in the area and craving for Thai food :)

Less than a year old, Sip Thai is a sleek, attractive space. They took over where Joy Wok operated for about 20 years. They've maximized the compact space, and it seems much roomier now. We ordered Penang Curry from the regular menu and the Chang Mai Noodles from their Winter Seasonal menu. The noodles were presented spectacularly and they were indeed very good and satisfying. We were disappointed with the Penang Curry. It may not be fair because we have been having the best Penang Curry ever at Pop Pop Street Thai in Seattle lately. It just could not compare.

At this restaurant, I noticed two problems and two problems only. The lack of a lunch special menu was a downer, and the slightly higher prices in general deter me from coming here for lunch all the time. But the ambiance was wonderful and the food was top-notch. Service was very fast and everything went smoothly. Good restaurant, just a little expensive. I ordered the chef's special spicy noodles, and this dish arrived at my table quickly. Sizzling hot and freshly made, these noodles were thick and incredibly tasty. There seemed to be one whole egg buried underneath the mass that gave the whole thing amazing flavor. The chef did an awesome job, but the restaurant could stand to lower prices a little.

It's funny that when I started reading reviews for Sip Thai Bistro restaurant, I had trouble finding recommendations for dishes, because so many reviews gushed about the stellar service. Well, add me to that camp - the first thing I have to say is that the staff is soooo friendly, helpful and prompt. We were greeted welcomingly when we walked in, offered our choice of tables and served a refreshing glass of citrus-flavored ice water. Our water glasses were never empty throughout our meal - always a plus when eating spicy Thai food. My friend ordered her favorite Thai dish, Chicken Drunken Noodles. A generous portion came out with a great medley of vegetables, and the flavor of the dish was spot on. I opted for one of the specials (waitress told me it's one of her favorites), Chiang Mai Noodles. It is a coconut curry soup that boasts egg noodles, bean sprouts, red onion, pickled mustard greens, cilantro and green onions. Oh. My. God. It far exceeded my expectations - rich, flavorful broth of my dreams. If I could have, I would've licked the bowl clean. I ordered it with prawns - it came out with lots of high quality prawns. I can't wait to return... would love to try other dishes, but I seriously doubt I'll be able to resist the Chiang Mai Noodles.

Sip Thai Bistro is a small and narrow Thai restaurant. During lunch hours, it gets filled up pretty quickly. They have no lunch special, but you should definitely check out their seasonal menu. Pumpkin coconut soup was super creamy, coconuty and it was perfect on a sunny yet crispy cold day like today. It had a bit of kick, which kept the soup quite interesting. I ordered drunken noodles with vegetables and fresh tofu (5 stars); my friends ordered pineapple curry with fried tofu (5 stars) and chiang mai noodles (seasonal item) along with a bowl of tom kha. I loved my noodles. I think 5 star spiciness was perfect; it was not too spicy but spicy enough. I would have appreciated more veggies and tofu (I can never get enough veggies and tofu!), but I did get lots of deliciously charred noodles. The chiang mai noodles looked quite delicious with egg noodles. I have already decided that is what I am going to order with prawns next time I visit... We were quite stuffed, but we had to order a dessert. We shared mango sticky rice, and it was just what we needed to complete our perfect lunch. The sticky rice was not overly sweet, and I loved the perfectly ripe mango slices with sweet coconut sauce. The staff were friendly and super eager to help. There was a small mistake (one of my friends got chicken instead of prawn) in our order, but our server was apologetic and quick to hand out a 10% OFF coupon. A good move, Sip Thai, a very good move...

The service is always great in this little Thai place that is clean and the food is great. Coming from LA, I personally think the prices are on high side. For instance, the pad thai is nearly $16, where as in LA, it would be closer to $11, and for a larger serving. All in all though, I enjoy the atmosphere with a Mariner's ballgame on most times and a courteous wait staff. The crispy duck, drunken noodles and the soft shell pad thai are my personal favorites.

I placed our order online through Yelp. My husband went to pick up the order and they said they couldn't find it. Then they called my name and my husband said it was his. They didn't want to give him the order. They seemed pretty disorganized. After he finally got it home with the food we dug right in. The pot stickers were great! The spring rolls were good, but they had corn in them which was odd. Chicken Phad Thai and Phad See Ewe were just ok. I've had better. The Crying Tiger was good. Their Medium spicy was pretty spicy. Not sure if I would go back.

Seems like they had pretty good Thai food. I had the Chiang Mai Noodles, which is actually just Kao Soy (not sure why the different name). It was very good!

Really great Thai food that tastes great and isn't too greasy. We ordered the bag of gold appetizer (deep fried dumplings), the yum woon sen salad (a delightful glass noodles salad), and the chicken pad thai. All of it was very yummy. We also ordered the chicken satay and sticky rice children's meal for the bigger little one and she ate almost all of it! She's not the best of eaters so it's quite the compliment. :) The meal came with some steamed vegetables (carrots, broccoli, baby corn), which was a nice touch too. We went for lunch and it wasn't too crowded so it was super kid friendly. The servers were all really nice and had water cups and forks for the kids. In fact, we actually stayed there extra long since my baby nieces (3 and 1) were doing so well and no one seemed to mind. Thanks for being so patient and serving up such wonderful food!

Stopped in for eats after a long hike through Watershed Preserve. As usual, we had to try the curry to compare against other Thai places. We had the green curry with avocado and the yellow curry. It was great! I love how each time we have curry it comes with different types of veggies. They were also very accommodating to our food allergies. Wonderful! The food was good, the staff were very courteous and it totally fit after a long hike. Will sure be back.

I absolutely love the food, service, staff and menu selection. The duck specialties, curries, soups and teas are superb. If you liked Typhoon a teeny bit you LOVE this place. June has created an oasis that is stylish, relaxing and well designed. It's a perfect spot for spending time w gal pals or a small family meal. I love stopping by for lunch w co-workers.

Cute little bistro! Came here looking for some good thai food before heading back to AZ (I used to live in Redmond/Seattle and visit frequently now.) Brought my mom who isn't very experienced with thai food. We were both very delighted in the food! We ordered the Swimming Rama chicken and Pad See Lew beef. I also had a thai ice tea. The flavors were on point! I couldn't stop eating. They also have a nice selection of teas. Probably one of the best Thai places I've been to (I used to frequent Thai Kitchen, Chantanee, Nibbana when I lived there). I am looking forward to my next visit so I can eat here again! My mom is now a fan of Thai food because of this place. We went there about 10 mins before open and they were already open which was great because I had to catch a plane that afternoon. Very friendly service too - and lunch got busy quick.

I went with a group of five so I got a good feel of alot of variety of the dishes. The ambiance is delightful for such a small space they really made the seating comfortable and even add in a bar. Seating available at the bar as well. The curry has unique flares, such as pumpkin and avocado in the green curry. Nothing was too bland. Very flavorful. The drunken noodles and pad sew were very flavorful and embellished with assortment of veggies. The portions were different, and the spices were not consistent however, most likely multiple cooks and different measurements. My friends four stars was more mild than my three stars. But we made up with the spice rack. Excellent service, glass never empty. Gave us recommendations. Good experience, good food.

Have been here a number of times now, and so finally ready to review. My husband and I really love coming to this restaurant. The decor inside is very fresh and bright, and the staff are really wonderful to deal with. We have had the chicken satay to begin, and it is so amazing, the peanut sauce is delicious! We've also tried the Thai crispy rolls, and Pot stickers. All of them very fresh and tasty. For entrees, we have had the Cashew Chicken, Prawn Panang Curry, and most recently, the Crispy Duck with Pork Buns. I have nothing that I can say, except that each dish has been really tasty, and I love that they offer either white OR brown rice with your entree. Overall, we very much enjoy our experience. Yes, it's small inside, but the fresh design is welcoming, and the yummy food is super also. We enjoy going back every time!

Such refreshing thai food after so long! Went here for the first time and was greeted by a kind lady. This place is decent comfy decor, a variety of thai tea and a bar. The food here is exceptional, we tried crab wontons, spring rolls and pineapple curry and everything tasted great! A must try.

New Thai spot in Redmond thought I would give it a go. The service was good the place looks very clean. It seems more like a cafe than a restaurant. 2 things for me comparing this Thai place to others in the area. #1 no lunch special... Other places you get some soup, a salad. Also other places have specials that include pad thai just saying. We did get a sample of some tea which was delicious but not quiet up to par with getting soup or a salad. #2 I tend to always judge a thai place on pad kee mow. They call it drunken noodles its all the same. The noodles were over cooked to the point where it was getting mushy. I also believe it was lacking some fish sauce. There really wasn't any sauce probably because it was over cooked. Veggies were good cauliflower was odd in pad kee mow ... Given these two factors I can't say I would be inclined to return.

We ordered from the seasonal menu, and both were very good: pad Thai with shift she'll crabs, and young coconut green curry. Plating was as good as it was delicious. We would recommend this place!

A great small place, excellent food and service. I think the entire restaurant might be ~ 50 person capacity but the setting is nice, clean and comfortable. I ordered the crab pad thai and summer rolls, let's just say I will definitely be back for some more of this crab pad thai, really delicious. The summer rolls were good too, but a tad small if I'm being overly critical. This place is simple, casual, comfortable, and enjoyable. I recommend for lunch or a nice and convenient dinner before catching a movie at Bella Bottega cinema. Enjoy!

The place is very small, mostly seats for two people. They have a decent selection of foods and a lot of tea selections. Very little amount of alcohol, although they do have mac and jack. My friend recommended me to try their egg noodle soup and it was delicious. All their other foods were also very well made and the staff was extremely friendly.

I was looking for a place to eat lunch and saw great reviews on Yelp for this place. I decided to go try it and I am extremely happy I did. I ordered Sip Thai Spicy Chicken and it was really good. Chicken really crispy, vegetables were fresh and it had excellent flavor. Ambience is great and the service is very friendly. I will probably go back there again this weekend.

A signature restaurant is one that impresses you not just once but time after time. The Sip Thai Bistro falls in such a class of restaurants. The balance of flavors, the level of spiciness, the freshness of ingredients and the variety of menu are just a class apart. We live close by and so feel the need to order takeout food every now and then. Sip Thai has delivered on its quality successfully every time. The basic judge of a Thai place in my mind is the quality of its Pad Thai. The Pad Thai has the precise flavor and so Sip Thai passes the basic sniff test. The quality of its Phad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) is par excellence. Now to my favorites.. Their signature dishes are just awesome.. I have only tried two.. Spicy noodles and rice with cod and salmon. I have not gone past the "exploit" stage of these 2 dishes.. I am so looking forward to exploring more .. My wife simply loves their Panang Curry. Sip Thai is simply the best Thai restaurant in the Seattle/Redmond area. It is smallish in size... I hope the restaurant reaches more audience and gives pleasure to more people in the time to come.. Definitely 5 rocking stars!!

Excellent taste with quality ingredients. We had the pumpkin curry and Chiang Mai noodles and both were excellent. I had to adjust the spicy-ness of my noodles after our appetizer was a bit too much for me (level 2). Our waitress brought me a Thai iced tea on the house bc it was too spicy (very thoughtful)! It is hard to judge what level of spicy-ness to get bc everyone has a different threshold. Highly recommend this place and would absolutely come back.

The best new bistro in town. What a beautiful place to discover. It's got great food with lovely ambience and the bonus comes when you speak to the sweet people that work here. They're genuinely warm people which is a rarity in an icy cold city known as Seattle. They have a wide selection of perfect teas - aromatic, full bodied and flavorful. Their fried banana is our new favorite dessert. It's perfectly not-over-sweetened. They get perfect 5 stars for everything and a bonus 10 stars to the staff including a lovely Sureephorn.

Great traditional Thai dishes with an extensive offering of quality teas. Eaten Thai all over the U.S.. This is some quality Thai food. Loved the green curry avocado dish and my wife really enjoyed her pumpkin curry with fried tofu dish. The mango tea was delicious and refreshing. Fresh vegetables - beautiful plating - and brown rice offered alongside jasmine rice at no additional cost. Our server spoke to us about how the dishes are eaten in Thailand and which sauces and garnishes are traditionally used. Great offering of beers and wine too. Some of the best service we've ever had. We left after closing hugging them! We'll be regulars - no doubt.

In short this was a very nice surprise. This is a small place tucked in between multiple lunch time / low quality restaurants and semi-fast food places, however the food quality was incredibly amazing. Food quality is absolutely Amazing. For the price that you pay it easily competes with top restaurants in downtown Seattle. I ordered the Eggplant special and wow, they actually took the time to crisp- bake ( is that a thing?) the basil leaves separately and place it on the top. Portions are slightly smaller than most mid range restaurants however the quality was excellent and the food over all was surprisingly filling. The place itself looks very nice, a semi contemporary look, not a lot of room in the restaurant however I would not be surprised if they buy out the place next door and expand soon. Lastly the staff are very pleasant and the owner herself attends the guests. They care enough to remember your favorite food after 2-3 visits. Place is packed at lunch time so try to get there early or have a late lunch.

This place is tucked away and could be easily passed by. It's a small Thai place with a very modern twist with the Decor and the food is awesome. I recommend the Green Avocado curry and any of their teas. They give you tea in a colorful tiny tea pot with the infused and with tiny tea cups. Definitely bring your family or friends over and you will not be disappointed.

  • Nicole G.

The chicken satay was delicious. Juicy meat and the peanut sauce was yummy. I also had the pumpkin curry, it was very good, but lacked in the amount of meat you get. Also after reading that their star system was a but much I would agree. I typically get 3 or so at most places, this place i got a 2 and it was almost more than i could handle. Will be trying more things on the menu. Also did take out and was glad i did, the restaurant is tiny and i didn't see an open seat in the place.

I go here often. I mean, it's almost embarrassing how often I'm in there. They should put a plaque with my name on the table. Staff is always friendly and greets with smiles on their faces. Very clean and updated place. The food is great! I nearly always order the phad see ewe with fried tofu, 2 stars. They don't mess around with the spice level! 2 is pretty legit. Though I do love watching my smart ass friends order "10" stars, and then proceed to sweat their way through the meal. Tough guy! lol When they have the crab wonton appetizer, order it! Those are pretty awesome. Wish they had a little more room to spread out but maybe in time they'll be able to expand.

Food and service were average. I am a thai food lover and had great expectations with the reviews and I was disappointed. I absolutely prefer Bangkok Basil. Servings, food and service are much better.

We wanted this to be great. We really did. The cho Chee seafood was chalk dry, oddly colored and very very fishy. The salmon did not taste like salmon at all and it simply wasn't fresh. We ordered the Sip Thai spicy noodles, the avocado green curry, summer rolls, and cho Chee seafood. It was all marginal and the worst was the curry and seafood- but none of it tasted like good quality Thai. We couldn't finish it. On the good side the restaurant looked clean and nice and the staff was great. I did not call to complain. I was very surprised given the ratings but maybe just an off night.

The restaurant just opened up close to my office, so I give its convenience a point. Walking in, I felt that although it's small and not near anything remotely interesting, it has a dainty and enjoyable feel to it. The furniture is very IKEA-ish, though nothing there is purchased from IKEA. The have a small range of tea selections and the owner is making it into a tea room in the late afternoon for small group meetings. The pumpkin curry was pretty good, albeit for the two times I've had it, the salt usage wasn't consistent. One day it was perfect and another day, it was too salty. It's just next door, so perhaps the chef will see how he can cater to the palates of Redmond residents. The area is constantly changing, but I hope to see how well it'll thrive.

  • Kalon J.

This is my favorite Thai place in the Seattle area. Their food is great. The service is really good, and the restaurant is small and intimate. Great selection of tea and a nice tea service. Their curry fried rice is a huge hit with the kids, and the Tom Kha is good. Their spice level is authentic spicy, so make sure that you take that into account if you're used to ordering Seattle-level spicy - 2* is a good heat, 3* is cold-clearing and anything above may be used as a dare. But the thing that makes it outstanding is their Khao Soi (also known as Chiang Mai noodles). This is by far the best Khao Soi in the greater Seattle area, and is absolutely wonderful. It's not always on their main menu - it's been a special several times - but it's worth asking for. If you've not had Khao Soi and you like, well, food, you should have it - and you should have it here. It's worth going here just for this. It is the kind of food that makes you wonder why you ever ate anything else. Great takeout service too.

Awesome Thai food. Best in the area. We had fresh rolls and tom yum soup to start it off, then ordered the Drunken Noodles and Chicken Basil. Everything was excellent. Not to mention they have Mannys on tap. Duh!

My friend and decided to give Sip Thai Bistro a try when we saw the high review on yelp. The waitresses were really friendly and attentive. We were being greeted right when we stepped in and they served water and menu less than a minute after we were seated. The food was great and the price was reasonable. The place and utensils look clean. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

Customer service was wonderful and the meal was prepared in about 5 minutes. I love the freshness of the food and the lunch portions are a great size as well. When you first walk into the restaurant, you're greeted immediately which is always a plus in my book. My favorite dish is the Green Curry w/ Tofu. That dish tastes so good I had to find a recipe online so I can try to make it at home! This is the best Thai in Redmond!

I love it here. The servers are soo nice! I get something different every time and have never been disappointed. Well, one time out of three times I have ordered it, the calamari was tough. There are still a few things I need to try. I get a cup of one of the soups every time and I order at least two appetizers which I change up for whatever I am feeling like that day. The peanut sauce is the best I have ever had. They make all of the dipping sauces in house and they are lovely. Add crispy tofu to your dish it has the perfect texture. It is a place I enjoy going even with my baby, it's small but I have never had a problem being seated. I have tried the fried banana but I usually do not have room for dessert. Three spice is good for me. We have also done take out with the online ordering it's very easy. I haven't tried the pineapple fried rice but it is a favorite of one of the workers. They gave me a coupon on my last visit which will ensure a return visit from me!!

So, now that I have gotten a lot of to go orders, and tried a few other items, I am so lucky to have found this place! Cheese and rice, this place is amazing. Last nite one of my besties and I went out to eat at Sip Thai and we had their fresh rolls and we asked for peanut sauce also. Ok, So I fell instantly in love, so what!? And the basil fried rice, are you kidding me? I love their food. It doesn't feel like you've eaten bad food when your done, it just feels like you need to take some home for tomorrow. And maybe for the rest of the week. The cashew chicken is amazing. Seriously! And the spring rolls, So crispy. They stay that way for to go orders too! So, I guess by now you know I like this place a lot

I love coming here for two reasons. While the food is one reason, I love the staff! They are very friendly and personal and I just want to hug them all. Can you say that about many places? It's small and cozy giving the few guests and staff an interactive experience, yet colorful and open with vibrant colors and a large glass front window without the window clutter seen in many other Asian restaurants. The food? Well, that's vibrant as well. I couldn't do it justice by trying to describe it. It's flavorful. Try the soups. Try it all. I dare you. I could see this place doing better if it weren't in a strip mall, but once in the door, you'll forget that.

Takeout review: I had the Drunken Noodles with beef. It was delicious. The spring rolls were awesome as well. Only disappointment is that they don't offer roti as an appetizer or a dessert.

Lovely little place. The atmosphere and decor are warm, clean, and bright. The food has been mostly delicious, my favorites being the papaya salad and the Sip Thai Spicy Noodles (the chef's special). I have also tried the mango sticky rice and fried banana desserts and they were stellar. They have a great assortment of teas and they always bring out tea samples. Their Thai tea is the best that I've had.

Saw the review on Yelp and had to give them a try. We were not disappointed. Sat at the small counter because they were pretty busy and both my wife and had Thai Beef Salads which was perfectly prepared. The service was exceptional and so was the food!! We will go back and try some of the other fabulous looking entrees.

We just love this place. We used to go to Typhoon and we liked it as well. I believe several employees from Typhoon are at Sip Thai. We went there last night and I had a meat dish (sorry I don't recall the name right now) that was fantastic. We 1st had the Pot Stickers (Yum) and the Calimari (also yum). We don't do a lot of deserts, but we had the fried banana and it was just incredible. I have been there several times for lunch. but probably we will be going there for dinner more often. The staff are wonderful and always super friendly.

So happy that the great food from Typhoon is reincarnated here! The Tom Kha soup is exactly the way I remembered it - delicious. The fresh rolls and the green curry are great too. They also have beer and wine, including two beer taps (they were serving Manny's and Mac and Jacks). A cold beer with spicy Thai food is a great combination. Joon works the front and is very friendly. She also designed the logo and the restaurant interior, which is refreshingly clean and modern, but warm and comfortable at the same time. We'll be back for sure, either for dining in or take-out.

If you've been missing Typhoon you have try this place! Drunken noodles all the way. I would go here for lunch, date night, family dinner, or even just for hot tea on a rainy day :)

I was in the area today getting my phone fixed. I had an hour to burn so I went next door to to sip thai. What a great experience. The owner was so kind and greeted me right away. I was only looking for a light snack, so I got the fresh rolls. They were delish and flavorful! I also tried the Love tea!!!! I think Im in love!

What friendly and fresh atmosphere. And the best part, the soup is delicious! I now have a new favorite Thai restaurant in Redmond! If you are going to the movies at Bella Bottega be sure and stop in for a delicious meal.

We have taken our family here 2 times & gotten take-out once. My husband loves the pumpkin curry. My kids love the Pad Thai and the children's meals. The service is very good. However, they always seat us in a 4-top and there are 5 of us- it is uncomfortable. So know the seating is limited. Although the food is tasty, it seems that portions run a little on the small side. We don't mind paying a few dollars more for quality food, but the kids are sometimes still hungry afterwards. Regardless, we're getting take-out again tonight.

I stopped in for a take out order this week, and I'm a fan. Joon was so helpful, sweet and the food was super fresh and tasty. We had the drunken noodles which were YUMMY and a yellow curry. The fresh spring rolls were delicious as well! I will definitely be back. This is the best Thai in Redmond now. Cute, small dining area. Nice wine and beer selection. Yay!

This place is quite awesome. Good decoration and great services. I have ordered the current special red-wine stew beef. It's so delicious and go very well with red wine. Awesome awesome awesome. I will be back.

We loved this restaurant. The food was excellent (ask the staff for recommendations) and the staff was attentive and friendly. This is a small restaurant but the ambiance is still nice and we will definitely go back again. One of our desert orders came without one of the listed ingredients. If they had mentioned this to us, we would have ordered something else. We casually pointed this out to the waitress and she apologized and did not charge us for it. Beyond the great food, this incident shows their level of customer service, which is why I am giving this restaurant 5 stars.

Located in a neighborhood retail strip. Lovely bright decor. Beer on tap and a substantial wine selection!. Friendly and fast service. Panang Curry is THE BOMB! House Fried Rice was perfect, too! Will definitely be back :-)

The chef from Typhoon and one of the managers started this small but fun restaurant and everything is really tasty! I'm a Thai iced coffee connaiseuse, and the coffee here is some of the best, not to sweet, but rich and creamy. Come try it out, you won't regret it.

This place has some fantastic food - best Thai in Redmond, and sorely needed on this side of town. Authentic, fresh, delicious. Plus, an interesting selection of loose teas, and two beers on tap.

During this visit it seems to have been a $1 price increase to the menu. The cashew chicken tastes good with chicken cashews pineapple bell pepper onions hot peppers in a sweet savory sauce. The beef phad thai tasted a little off (rancidity) although although still good. Was hoping it came with stir fried broccoli to give it more texture and make it more filling like their tofu pad thai does. Total bill with tax was $22.75.

I've been struggling to find a good Thai place in the Redmond area for a while. Most have been "ok" and way too expensive for what they were offering. This place was not only delicious, but it was reasonably priced and the staff was very friendly. Nice little bar with a couple beers on tap too!

We usually have big team lunch orders so the online ordering is awesome here. Most important - the food was great. I had the Ginger Chicken and was definitely happy. The rest of the team enjoyed their lunch as well. Definitely a repeat for all of us

Food tasted SO fresh! When you ask for 3 star that's what you get (Lemongrass and others, not just a bunch of added red pepper flakes). Also, we had great service on a busy Friday night. The staff was super friendly!!! Can't wait to go back.

Great service and great food. Staff greet you when you enter and genuinely care about you enjoying your meal. A wonderful menu - don't forget the teas. I've not been disappointed in anything I've tried. All the food is very fresh and tasty. Beware of spice - two stars is enough for me. Favorite Thai place in Redmond.

Updating after going back for a second visit; still great! But I hadn't realized the Pine Cone fish is a special order. I don't think it's even on the menu, so you can't be sure they will have it unless you call a day or two in advance and request it. That's okay as there are plenty of other great choices, but I will call. If enough people ask about it they will probably put it on the menu. The other thing is that they don't take AMEX. I understand that many places don't (and why), but it's my "go to" card for dining out. Once again, if enough people ask...

Recommended by a Thai friend. She says its good. And if a thai says the thai food is good you bet its good. Vegies are fresh, and the dishes seem more tasty than other local thai places.

For a long time now, my husband and I have been missing the excellent food and service from Typhoon. We just happened into Sip today and we were so happily surprised to see many of the faces from Typhoon in the kitchen and front of the house. They are using the same great, traditional recipes and, as always, were warm and friendly. We left well fed in our bellies and hearts and are so excited to reconnect with these great people! It's a small shop, but with continued success, expansion can't be far off.

My wife and I both know Joon, the owner of this new Thai Bistro. It's a bit hidden on the back side of Bella Bottega Theater area, but well worth the quest. She used to be a manager at the now defunct Typhoon restaurant and her main cook comes from Typhoon kitchen. The food is great, the service is good, Everyone is super friendly and as far as eating out these days, you could certainly do much worse. If you like soup, try the Tom Yum and pick shrimp or chicken. It's both hot and sour, and one of the main signature dishes that defines Thai flavor.

Excellent food. Very fresh, tastiest Thai food I've had in a long time. Loved it. The place is very chic and comfortable. The service was friendly and reasonably fast. Highly recommend this new restaurant.

This place is tucked in a little strip mall. You won't be able to tell from the neighboring stores that there is such a gem here! The food is amazing and the interior of the restaurant is very cozy. They can definitely charge for higher price if this restaurant were in a better location.

Stopped by for lunch after getting my iphone fixed at Jet City next door. This is a little place in the strip mall near to the Bella Bottega theater in Redmond. The server was super friendly and pointed out her favorites on the menu after I asked for guidance. She suggested substituting mung bean noodles for the regular noodles in the Pad Thai which are lower glycemic index when I expressed concern about that. I also had some tasty spring rolls which came out piping hot and crispy. Next time I will have order the beef and grape salad which I was very tempted by. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I was also impressed by how clean the place was, including the bathrooms and the service, as mentioned in other reviews, is stellar. My water was refilled regularly, the check was picked up promptly, and they give a tiny cup of tea as a freebie. I only wish it was closer to where I live.

It's a small place, hidden behind Bella Bottega. We went there after reading the reviews on yelp. It did not disappoint. Good was good, service prompt. Drunken noodles were good, so was the lemongrass tea.

The best Thai food in the area. I've had the vegetable phad thai, and the beef phad thai - both much better than anything I've eaten outside of Thailand. Try it!

Awesome thai food! We had the Cho-Chee Curry (seafood curry, I might be spelling it wrong) and it was delicious! It was the most expensive thing on the menu at just under $20 but it was well worth it. The dish included a salmon fillet, 4-5 scallops and 4-5 shrimp all drenched in curry plus a side of rice. In short, great value and great food.

Very good calamari and shrimp appetizers. We have TV in the 3 flavor fish both of which were very tasty and very nice portions.

Excellent food, friendly service, fun fresh atmosphere. This isn't typical Thai food that you'll find in a typical cookie cutter Thai restaurant. Lots of neat new recipes.
