Looking for a place to eat in Raymond? If you came here, you best be patient and have a lot of tolerance. First off, the food was excellent. Had the classic hamburger with cheese. The burger sauce and bun really make this kick. Would have given five stars for the burger if the service didn't suck so bad. Drinks came out timely, placed our order for food and I was able to consume 20 of the 24 ounces ( about 20 minutes) of my deschutes dark porter before my wife asked the waitress how much longer until we get our burgers? We were told another ten minutes because they were super busy. Looking around the bar, we see that we are one of two families in the restaurant. My wife then says "busy? With who?" We were then told that there was a huge amount of carry out orders that are ahead of us. I asked if carry outs came I through a different door than us because I haven't seen a thing move in this bar since we got here. We got our burgers about 30 minutes after ordering. Again, they were awesome, but the lies about the delay were ridiculous. They did take 10 percent off our check though. As we were leaving, my wife pointed out that no one else has still entered the place to pick up their carry outs. A better tip and 5 stars would have come out of this interaction had we not been lied to. We have both worked the food service and bar industry to know what was going on. So my wife just read this and said I missed a lot. So here is what I missed, put it in whatever order you feel. As we pulled up to the bar, we noticed the two waitresses standing out front smoking cigarettes. As we opened the car doors we are greeted with the smell of burning rope. Ahhhhh, Washington. Wanting to know what was the difference between bomb fries and regular fries, I was told that the bomb fries are coated in Harley's special wing sauce; kinda sweet, kinda spicy. I said " You have your own special wing sauce, yet there are no wings offered on the menu. How does that work?" The waitress replied "we are trying to get the cook to add them to the menu but he doesn't want to." Hmmmm. Lastly, the missus figured out what took so long for our food. She figured the waitresses had the munchies after their smoke break and ate our food.

This place has great food & some pretty great music. It good to get off I-5 and see more. So if you travel Portland to Seattle get off the freeway and try some great places.

Love this place! Good food, good drinks, and great people! The burgers are good, and the pub fries and bomb fries are the best you will ever have!
