This is a great place for a casual wine pairing lunch as the restaurant and Bunnell Family Cellars have the same owners. My two favorite dishes here were the Savoury and Sweet Pizzetta (pears, bacon, green onions and white cheddar) and Pulled Pork with Asian Spice & Noodles. You also must have a glass of Bunnell's 2009 River Aerie Chardonnay

This was a lovely surprise. First, we stayed at an AMAZING B&B in nearby Grandview called the Cozy Rose. They advised us to go get pizza here. Since I lived in Italy for four years, I'm a real pizza snob. This may have been the best pizza I've had in Washington state. Great service, great wine, beautiful all around.

Stopped here the other day for the first time. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the mood for some delicious food and excellent wine. The place has a charming atmosphere and excellent service. I ordered the pear & bacon pizza and a white wine flight. This was one of the best pizzas that I have ever had!!!! Every bite was to die for! All the wines I tried were excellent, my favorite being the muscat. What a fabulous lunch!!!!!

This place had great food and great service. I recently ate here with a friend for lunch while touring the local wineries. A friend and I split a salad and a pizza (Pesto Pizza) both of which were large portions and tasted amazing! We left very full and it only cost us about $28.00!

The Rhone style wines are some of the best in Washington and west coast. Must be the nicest place in Yakima wine country and would not visit without stopping here for lunch or dinner. Bunnell family rocks!

Prosser, WA...... Consistency is "the name of the game" with this outstanding restaurant. Over a period of the last three years, we have taken friends and family to Wine O'Clock. We have never been disappointed! 5-stars: "the Ambiance" - spacious large open dining area with fireplace and an active Chef's station. 5-stars: "the Menu" - there's always something new and delicious while they keep the favorites on the list. 5-stars: "the FOOD" which displays superior chef skill and mastery of classic and exotic dishes. 5-stars: "the WINE" & "the WINE" mark-ups - excellent array of varietal wines produced by The Bunnell Family Cellar and their second label: River Aerie. Try out their various wine flights with your lunch .. they are excellent and fun to compare "side-by-side". 5-stars: "the SERVICE" - Very helpful staff, with solid knowledge of menu and recommendations. Timing is spot on for drinks, ordering and bill. Needless to say, we love this restaurant!

My husband and I visited Wine O'Clock on a Monday afternoon. While visiting a local winery in Richland, we were advised to visit the wineries in Prosser. We were definitely not dissapointed! Our first stop in Prosser was the Airfield Winery, where we asked about lunch options. We were directed to Wine O'Clock which is conveniently located behind Airfield. Wine O'Clock is beautiful, relaxing, yummy and had the best wine in the tri-cities area. No exaggeration, the best wine in the region. If you enjoy a big red, this is the place for you. Our server, Shannon was amazing! She took time with us to learn our pallet's and suggest wines. We ate chilled brocolli soup, antipasto plate (to die for bread and I don't eat carbs) and a hand tossed pizza grilled to perfection in their pizza oven. We enjoyed three flights of wine, left with a box of wine and gladly became wine club members. Do not miss out on this amazing winery/wine bar. Also, my husband reported the men's restroom was the nicest he had ever visited. Strange what men notice.

Really lovely restaurant - one of the few (two?) good choices for dinner in Prosser. The menu is very limited but they do a great job, and the atmosphere is very pleasant, clean and modern. We had a charred romaine salad - interesting, but would have been just as good without the novelty of papery charred edges. The pizzas looked great, but I couldn't pass up the smoked beef tenderloin, which was very tasty. We really enjoyed the flight of 3 red wines we had with it. Desserts were also wonderful - a classic creme brulee and a fresh mango mousse. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice dinner in Prosser!

Finally made it down to Wine O'Clock for dinner recently and had a great experience. My wife and I took our 3 year old and both the server and the kitchen staff went out of their way for us (e.g. they put some goldfish on the plate of cheese and meat appetizer tray we ordered, cup with a lid/straw, etc.) Pizza was good and we really liked the look and feel of the place, the open kitchen, the farmhouse feel, etc. Some folks have said that the restuarant is not kid friendly so I thought I should at least dispute that a little. The owners have young children and "get it". If your kids will behave and show a few manners then I think that you and the other patrons will be just fine. Our check for 2 appetizers, 2 Dinners, and a couple glasses of wine came to around $80 with tip.

This restaurant is located in Vintners Village in Prosser (right off the freeway you can see Airfield winery). For years we've been looking for a decent place to eat in the Yakima/Columbia Valley. We stopped here last weekend on our way to Walla Walla and had one of the best pizza's I've ever had! It had thinly sliced pears, bacon, green onions and gorgonzola. Yummy!!! This restaurant is owned by and also serves as the tasting room for Bunnell Family Winery. My husband and I each had a different type of wine and were very pleased with them, too. I would give five stars but the pizza and wine were the only thing we had. But we'll definitely be going back on our next trip. We wanted to stop on our way home from WW, but unfortunately they don't open until 12pm and we were driving through at 11:30 so we had to miss them.

Pear bacon pizza. You can't even imagine how good it is! My husband even loved this place, and he'd rather go through a drive thru any day. The pizzas are served with a condiment tray of crushed red peppers, sea salt, and this Italian olive oil, garlic, anchovy sauce that you MUST try! I asked my waitress 20 times how to pronounce it, but I can't remember now (bagnon?!). Anyway, you need to have it. They also have a goat cheese fondue that is the best thing ever. I could have sworn there was nutmeg and fresh rosemary in it. I was told no, but whatever it was, it made my mouth very, very happy.

Had the pear bacon pizza and had to take some home. Wine pairing suggestion was spot on. Both were very good. A bit over priced and the service was average

There are so few restaurants that deserve 5 star. This is definitely one. They let us bring our puppy for outside sitting. We comfortable picturesque setting with dill all around you. Food was local fresh and exciting. Garden to table really works. Service was 5+ starts We highly recommended.

We were quite surprised to find a true fine dining experience in what would otherwise be considered a very small town. Proximity to Vinners Village makes it a plus, especially if one has undertaken an afternoon of wine tasting and doesn't feel like driving. It's a small but well executed menu, with the option to vary the portion size on their pizzas and some entrees. The Composed Salad was so good that we opted for it again on our next nights visit as well. Sweet and savory pizza, duck leg entree excellent as well, as was the panna cotta. Very nice selection of locally sourced wines from three different producers, I believe they are available for bottle purchase as well. The variety of flight options gives one the opportunity to sample quite a variety if desired. Service was good one evening, and excellent on the return visit. It's a little on the pricey side, but offers great value for what you're paying!.

2 stars because the pizza was tasty. Why not 5 stars? Because we walk in at 6 pm on a dead sunday, after wine tasting all day (and sent here by locals for a bite), and being told, word for word "well we usually like to have reservations but we have open tables so we can seat you this time." Really? You have 2 tables full and 20+ empty tables and THATS how you greet new customers?! We have been to many, many wineries this weekend who greeted us with open arms and made us feel WELCOME. Of everywhere we are and tasted in Yakima (20+ wineries and resruraunts in 3 days) this was the most cold greeting ever. When we asked how much for a glass of Chardonnay we were told "like 6-8$ Im not sure" and the waitress walked away. Ok, I guess we won't order a glass then. Thanks anyways!! I'd like to end by saying we had an absolutely FANTASTIC WEEKEND in Yakima's wine valley for our 5 year wedding anniversary. But this was our last stop and pretty much ruined the mood for us.

We stopped in for a late lunch on the fourth of July (I know, I'm behind), and didn't realize we needed a reservation. They seated us outside, though, under misters, and it ended up being a really pleasant meal, as no one else was braving the blistering heat, and we pretty much had the whole al fresco area to ourselves. Our server was pleasant and we enjoyed refreshing fruit spritzers and a nicely edited charcuterie plate, which was all together a pretty filling meal. The holiday macarons we finished off with were pretty horrible, though, and we should have known better - they were hard and weirdly textured, and filled with a weird cream. The area is nice - the grounds are well kept and I loved that you could catch whiffs of the lavender that was growing. Parking is plentiful. Not a bad stop if you're passing through Prosser, or want to experience something outside of the Tri-Cities. Make a reservation!

Based on reviews and a recommendation from our local winery in Woodinville, WA, we stopped by for dinner. We sat in the garden outside. Beautiful scenery, service was excellent and food was fabulous. Be sure to make a reservation!

Time: Just after noon on Sunday, June 21. Food: Let me set the stage by saying we have a wood-fired pizza oven and my husband makes fabulous pizzas Better than any we have tried in the Tri-Cities. But it's Father's Day, and we are doing some wine tasting. Heard great things about Wine O'Clock, so we stop. We were both VERY impressed with the pizza we had (their version of a Margherita). Very flavorful, loved the addition of the trio of chili oil, infused garlic oil, and sea salt. Never thought to put sea salt on our pizza, we will do that in the future! Ambiance: Cute place, very pleasant. Sat by a window with a lot of foliage and it was super nice. Service: Here, I am having a hard time describing the service. Not rude, not overly friendly. Maybe brisk? Completely efficient, almost autonomous. No attempt to make a connection with the customer either by the hostess who greeted us or the server. If you are here for friendly chit chat, this isn't your place. Don't let this stop you from some of the best pizza I've had in our region, beyond my mister's. We will make the trip back.

We absolutely love this place! The food is AMAZING and the ambience is terrific. Try the chef's pizza. They recommend wine pairings and they are spot-on. We found a new favorite!

The ambiance is very inviting with hostess and owner Susan Bunnell always there to welcome you in. After a day of wine tasting, they offer water with a slice of lemon and cucumber. There is also the smallest little details that mean allot to me. Fresh flowers are on every table and bathrooms are very clean and nicely decorated with double ply bath tissues. Now onto the food. One of the novelties of the restaurant is they grow their own herbs and vegetables in planter boxes outside along with fragrant lavendar and during the summer use them in their dishes. Everything on their menu tasted farm fresh. From the salads with an amazing mix of different vegetables to the hand crafted pizzas. They also have fabulous wines as Susan's husband is an award winning wine maker. Always a great experience here.

We joined friends from Granger who have raved about this establishment, I must say they were right , everything from the starters to dessert was excellent and is as good or better than many Seattle up scale places at a lower price point

Best restaurant in the area. Fresh food, beautifully displayed, informative chefs and servers and great atmosphere. We love to take ourselves on a date here! Bunnells wines are superb! You won't want to miss this experience!

I am always indecisive when ordering, but the waitress told me the pear bacon pizza has a "cult" following and that was enough to sell me. Boy, am I glad I ordered it. This is probably the best pizza I have ever had. The left panel of the menu stays the same, but the right panel changes weekly. Ingredients are seasonal and locally sourced. I suggests ordering a wine flight as the pours are quote generous. Outdoor seating is a must when the weather is nice. Cheers!

Super tasty. Pretty much every winery/tasting room recommended Wine O'Clock for a meal. We already had this spot on our list because it serves as the Bunnell tasting room (you'd need an appointment if you actually wanted to go to the Bunnell family farm). We ordered the bacon pear pizza everyone talks about and the chicken salad sandwich. We aren't chicken salad sandwich people at ALL, but this was super tasty. The pizza was a good portion and though we were fairly starving, took half the pizza home for later (and it was still yummy the next day). The food came out quickly and the kitchen was completely open for viewing. For dessert we selected their appetizer (it looked really tasty at the table next to ours), it was goat cheese with fresh blueberries and toasted bread. They offered additional toasted bread immediately which was great. A touch of sweet (honey) would have taken this appetizer over the top. In regards to their tasting, they generally do not allow tastings to happen in the main dining since it can get confusing (there is space opposite the dining or else outside on their patio). But since it was a relatively slow afternoon, they were ok with our group tasting. The wines were delicious. We purchased a Lia (Rhone blend) and our friends purchased a few others. The wines were priced a little higher than the other places we had visited ($30-40 vs $20ish), but well worth it. Later, we wished we bought more. Fortunately they have a tasting room in Woodinville. :)

Great spot in Prosser right smack in the middle of all the wine tasting rooms. Very fresh local produce. Nice break from wine tasting with a glass of their lavender infused lemonade. Super tasty. So that was my review when we were cruising through and had a great lunch but no wine. Today we stopped there for an early dinner on our way back to Portland from barrel tasting weekend in Walla Walla. It was just three of us today my wife and my friend Jason and I. Right when we walked in we were offered some mulled wine. Basically some Rose wine, cinnamon and sugar a little bourbon I think all warmed up for us on a wine glass. Perfect as it was 13 degrees outside! We were seated and right away Susan Bunnell brings over 3 slices of an Asian pear and goat cheese pizza for us to try as she said they were experimenting with maybe a dessert pizza. It was delicious and doesn't have to even be for dessert. The pear and cheese perfectly complemented each other. I ordered a simple wood fired pizza of basil; tomatoes and mozzarella paired with a glass of Sangiovese. Excellent! My wife had scallops and my friend Jason had a burger. All cooked perfectly. Oh and they brought over some chili flakes and an anchovy infused olive oil. I know I am not a big fan of anchovies but wow a little drizzle of it on the pizza and a sprinkle of chili flakes and it was amazing! In the meantime my friend Jason mentioned he liked Syrah and next thing you know there are 4 wine glasses in front of him to sample. All very good and he ended up buying a bottle of their higher end blend and I bought a Syrah as well. My wife and I also joined the Bunnell Family Cellars wine club. Service was top notch and Susan Bunnell and Danielle Boyd made our dining experience exceptional. Another reviewer said it best. You know you are in a higher end dining spot but no attitude just great service that makes it casual and comfortable like you were eating at a friend's kitchen.

FANTASTIC! We rented a private room here for a small wedding party. They were so flexible with us and let us decorate the room ourselves. The room was stunning, the service was great and the food and wine were top notch.

We had dinner at Wine O'Clock while in Prosser, WA for an event. Normally I eat vegetarian with the occasional fish. But we had been driving for two days to get there and I was really hungry for something other than a handful of nuts or power bar. So I ordered the flatiron steak, but in the petite portion, and it was out of this world fabulous! It was cooked to perfection, medium rare, which seems to be often misunderstood in most kitchens but not here. My husband had the touted pear bacon pizza and loved that as well. The ambience was also special, at dusk with the beautiful gardens.

This has been the highlight of our Washington wine country vacation! Food, wine & service were all excellent. We also joined the wine club for the excellent Rhone style blends.

This restaurant was recommended by the nice folks at Col Solare (thanks Felicia!). It's owned & operated by Bunnell Family Cellars, so forget about brining in your own juice. We ended up having a couple bottles of their Sangiovese, which paired nicely with the meal. Between the four of us, we shared a couple of small plates and couple of flatbread pizzas. We had the Artisan cured meat pizza. Beware, the salami has a little snap to it so taste before you sprinkle the crushed red pepper flakes onto the pizza. Our fiends had the Viva Italiano pizza (same warning). Both were delicious and plenty for two. The staff was helpful and friendly, even giving us tastes of the wines she felt would compliment our meals best. Since I don't know Prosser that well and probably wouldn't tend to stay there longer than one night on our way to Walla Walla, I'd certainly dine here again.

What a great place to have lunch !! My wife had an awesome salad, and I did the "Ham & Eggs" pizza. Most excellent. So good, we returned on Sunday, and each had a wonderful bowl of soup with a wine flight. This will now be our lunch stop when we pass thru Prosser. -Frank & Linda

I happened across this gem because it was listed in my hotel info as the only wine tasting room with a late closure. Well the tasting room was in deed closed upon arrival at 7:00, but... they were serving dinner with wine pairings, and what a find! The skirt steak w/ Syrah pairing was absolutely fabulous.

My friends and I liked it so much we ate dinner here both nights we were in town. The first evening we had the goat cheese fondue starter. The Rosemary was a wonderful addition. We had the duck and steelhead and all enjoyed our entrees. The wine flights are nice pours and a great way to taste their wines. The second evening we shared a few of their pizzas. Delicious thin crust and it was fun to watch the chef prepare the dough in the open kitchen. Valerie was an excellent server each night! And the complimentary Chukar cherries at the end of the meal ends the experience beautifully.

Wine and food - great. Management and staff were weird. We ate and drank for maybe 40 minutes. 10 minutes after the bill was paid, we were asked to leave for a group who made reservations. The 5 of us were already packed into a 4-person table, and there were plenty of other 4-person tables available. So instead of seating this reservation group at another empty 4-person table, they were very adamant about kicking us out specifically. We were not loud or obnoxious. Strange and slightly rude method of accommodating a non-paying group over one that was quiet and tipped generously. Didn't feel welcome there... Up your game, friends. And be more explicit about why kicking out paying customers is better than sitting reservations at other empty tables.

Amazing pizza! The cook Chelsea is adorable. Even if they say 'never trust a skinny cook.' Trust her because she is amazing! I love Julia Child cooking in the background! Very classy. Thank you Wine O Cock.

::::: I don't wink much, but for some reason I kept winking at the chef & his skills the whole night......[explained later] ::::: It had been a long time, but finally made it back "home"---to Wine O'Clock back in May (yeah, I'm slow with my Yelps). Wine O'Clock is cool because it basically IS like going home. The building basically looks like someone's house (well, a BIG mansion-esque house). And when you're inside, the tables are set such that you feel like you are in someone's living room, or dining room. And the kitchen is right there in the open and you can easily see the culinary magic from your table. We had a group of 6 and enjoyed a table near the kitchen. Our server was super nice. We had one friend who had dietary restrictions and our server patiently noted & suggested options. Our water was never empty. I also think an owner of the establishment also came by to check on us. So, I've been here before and had a pizza---they have some of the most funky and yummiest pizzas around, but I had to go with their special of the evening: Cold Smoked & Pan-Seared Buffalo Yeah, whenever buffalo is on the menu, my eyes turn to stars, and I talk in a robotic voice: "Beep-beep. Must have buffalo. beep-beep" Buffalo is a unique and different choice. To make it memorable, you have to have some skills. Within the first bite, I knew I was dealing with an utterly dangerous professional. I knew I chose well, and was smitten with the cook. I didn't care that he was a dude, and probably winked at him several times during the night. My friend had a Pear & Bacon Pizza. Oh damn. This was also very tasty. If buffalo didn't roam into my mouth, the pizza surely would have...and I would not have shared. For something to drink, I went with a flight. Wine O'Clock is situated in a wine-tasters mecca. My server recommended a nice red flight, and I do have to admit liking the variety and falling for a couple of them. Now since we were well into spring, one of the biggest things being harvested in the area was some wonderful Washington Asparagus. So, also on the special were some asparagus dishes. I had a taste of some of these, and they were tasty as heck, too. I love this. I love that local and in-season food was prominent on their ever-changing and lively menu. Lastly, I have to give props to Elliot. No, that's not the chef cooking my buffalo. Elliot is the corgi which is featured prominently in some photos in the hallway to the loos (bathrooms). Anyone who has a corgi has to be cool. (I know this cuz it's the only way I can be cool---I have two). So if you are on a wine tour, passing through town, or just looking for someplace different, and beautiful. I highly recommend Wine O'clock. It's always a good time there! (sorry, I had to give a clock joke) ;)

After wine tasting at Coyote Canyon and Apex, wanted dinner and a nice woman at CC suggested Wine O'clock, called over and had a table held for us since it was close to dinner. Very quaint place, nice ambiance, and great food! The lemon verbena panna cotta was out of this world.

I wanted to like this place, it came highly recommended from our server at the Kiona winery, but... We stopped here on a Wed at 2. We had just come from Kiona and I was expecting to do another wine tasting and get a snack. First impressions: nice outdoor space but when it's 95 out you don't really want to lounge outside. Their entrance was small, not inviting. There was a small wine tasting table? in the foyer, but no one was tasting or pouring. Otherwise, my choice was the small indoor "restaurant" to the right. So I asked for a table for 2 and we were seated at a very small table. The short menu was mostly pizza and appetizers with I think 4 main entrees including a Copper River Salmon dish. We had been looking forward to doing another wine tasting but that wasn't really what they were doing here. We were given a wine list with full bottles and glasses, so since we had just come from Kiona and had purchased a great Gewurtztraminer, I asked the waitress if we could pay a cork fee and open one of our own wines. She said sure, so I walked back to the car and got our wine. Upon my return I was met by the owner? manager? Susan who told me that they were a winery and not a restaurant and they couldn't serve another winery's wine. Okay, hmmm so I ordered 2 glasses of the NV Rose So, I ordered their BBQ ribs and the chef select salad, My husband got a woodfired pizza. The server asked "is that all?" I wasn't sure if that meant I was supposed to be ordering a full $32 entree (I had ordered 2 appetizers) so I checked to make sure if small plates were ok. I mean after all it was 2 in the afternoon. It was just all very awkward. I mean the tables are so small that it should just be a small plate pizza place with wine tasting. But the menu was expensive fine dining and so are the portions and the presentation. The salad was good, the pizza was excellent but small for the price, the BBQ ribs were disappointing. I was expecting ribs, but they were the Korean Beef Kalbi cut, the meat was going off and was so tough it was inedible, forget about having these as an appetizer while sipping wine. That being said the sides were great.. little potato salad balls with dill and the creamed corn was terrific. The salad was also really good. I would say that the kitchen has a really good crew. We finished off with a new dessert for July 4th.. a Red, white and blue cheesecake which was a delicious light cheesecake custard presented with great berry sauces All told, not a tasting room, not a "restaurant" and my lunch of a small pizza flatbread, a salad, 2 pieces of inedible Kalbi, 2 glasses of wine and one cheesecake was $62 plus tip. For real food and more friendly atmosphere, I will go to the Desert Wind next time.

Who knew there would be a fabulous restaurant complete with wood fire pizza oven, and homemade in Prosser, WA. Highly recommend! Excellent ambiance and service. Great wine, great food, and also-great gifts! Very flexible too, and fine with any changes to your selection.

Three word: goat cheese fondue. So good! Served with little slices of bread, apples, and pears. Also their mulled wine is the best I've had! Only downfall was I ordered one of their pizzas and asked for it meatless and it came out with bacon on it but they offered to make me a new one right away. Super good place to stop by if you find yourself in Yakima wine country

This place did not disappoint. We had the crab cakes to start and they were so fresh, light and highlighting the main ingredient....CRAB!!!! We then had skirt steak and the pear pizza, again to die for. As for the wine, again not disappointed. We had the 3 half glass sampler and it was awesome! Great service to boot!

Fantastic! Called ahead on a Sunday driving through and they accommodated us before closing. Had the scallop ceviche. Fantastic. Antipasto another grand slam and finished with Pizza Margarita. Our Hostess Matti was wonderful! She knew what wines to pair and was by far the best hostess around. Thank you for your fantastic food & hospitality Matti.

Beautiful setting and lovely decor in this place. Has my favorite table set up, it feels intimate, but the tables are far enough apart to give you a sense of privacy. The smell of delicious steak greeted us at the entrance and the glow of the wood fired pizza oven. The service on a saturday night was sadly poor. There aren't that many tables but the young staff was probably inexperienced. We got our wine and food promptly but trying to get pepper or salt took quite a while. The grilled romaine salad was delicious. The steak, although overdone, was tasty. Oddly, for a place known for pizza, I found their wood fired italian pizza, version of a margarita, not very good. The sauce was nice, but the dough just was tasteless. Other than that, we did have a nice time and really enjoyed ourselves. This is the nicest restaurant in Prosser, so if you are staying there, it's a great choice.

Stopped in here to get some food relief with a belly full of wine. Can't say we ordered any more wine off the menu. But I did drink down about 3 glasses of water which they put lemon and cucumber in it. NICE TOUCH. The server was really friendly and helpful. I had one of their pizzas, a half though. Which was the prefect amount. I thought it was really good. My grandma had a shrimp salad which she sad was also very good. Great place in the village to get some grub! OH and we sat on the patio and they had misters on ceiling which was awesome cuz it was hot out!

We stop in at Wine O'Clock every time we pass through on our way to Walla Walla. Every. Single. Time. And sometimes we stop in on the way back too. It's that good. The chef is fantastic, the menu is nicely diverse, they make good pizzas (get it with an egg) and they made a salmon dish that to this day is the best piece of salmon Cindy has ever been served. We've gone in probably 8 times between the two of us, and the menu changes often enough to keep it interesting for us, but stable enough for us to have favorites. The restaurant is associated with the Bunnell Family Wineries (which are some smashing WA state wines), and there are some wonderful wine flights you can sip while you eat. I think more people are finding this place and it can get busy, so reservations are recommended. Sometimes you'll give a place 5 stars for being great in it's location (this is a small town) or being great at one type of food, but this is genuinely a 5-star and compares against any of the best restaurants in Washington. If you're driving by Prosser, call ahead from the road, make a reservation, and have a great meal.

We had dinner at Wine O'clock just after 4th of July, and it was wonderful. We went on a Saturday night expecting it to be busy, but it was only steady and we got a table right away. The atmosphere is great - it was designed (I assume) to resemble an old farm house, with a beautiful interior and fantastic outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is near the owner's herb and lavender garden, so besides the food there were lovely scents of fresh herbs wafting our way. Susan, the owner came to say hello and she is a wonderful and gracious hostess. She even gave me tips for growing lavender in my own garden. Our server, Lorraine, was attentive, friendly, and very thoughtful. I asked her for water for a baby bottle and she was kind enough to mix in some cool water to ensure that it wasn't too hot. And yes, the Bacon Pear Pizza was amazing as other interviewers have stated. We will definitely go here again next time we are in Prosser! Chris P Bothell, WA

Took our (persnickety) stepson there last night for his birthday dinner....these folks nailed it. The wine, food and service were all excellent. He loved the sliced meat and cheese appetizer; his scallops were perfectly prepared; and the tart was awesome...again. My wife had the duck salad and it was cooked perfectly as well. Have to update this place to 5 stars...well deserved!

We were visiting some friends in the tri-city area and headed over to Prosser for a Sunday late lunch. My friends heard good things and I was all game to check it out. The place was dead. The hostess couldn't count. There were 6 of us and an empty table for 6 inside and she said we'd have to sit outside...in the 100 degree heat. Uhm, we pointed to the empty table for 6 inside and she said, "oh, yeah, I guess that is available". I think we had at least 3 different servers...like one couldn't do the job alone even though there was hardly anyone else in there. The food was definitely delicious. We ordered a variety of pizzas, main dishes, and the goat cheese appetizer w/berries - yum. My friends agreed it was good as well, but they concluded that it wasn't good enough to warrant a 30 min drive. The white wine flight was good too. Similar to a lot of the other reviews, our complaints lie mostly with the service. Airhead hostess, 3 different servers, and my biggest complaint was an automatic 18% gratuity added for 6 people. And then, they refused to split the bill. What the hell, I know you must have the technology to split the bill, but they refused. Such a simple task and it really annoyed me that they wouldn't do it. It's not like they were too busy to do it either, I think there were only 2 or 3 other tables in the whole place. Annoying. So I've been there, done that. Not sure I'll ever need to go back.

Would have given 5 stars as the food and wine pairings were excellent, however... The portion size for the soup, salad, and dessert course were quite small, and more startling was the fact that the otherwise wonderful coffee at the end of the meal was served with milk, no half& half ot cream, but milk. really????

All you need to know: Pear and bacon pizza. The rest of this review is pointless if you've ordered that. :) Other things I love about Wine O'clock: It is perfectly positioned in the middle of Prosser's wine village to give you a tasting break and bring you back form the brink of messy drunk land; black and white Julia Child on the TV; it feels like you're eating in the kitchen of the Giant's Wife from Jack and the Beanstalk and THE PEAR AND BACON PIZZA! Don't make a trip to Prosser without checking this place out.

Possibly the best restaurant in Eastern Washington and the Tri-Cities area. I've lost count of the number of times I've had lunch or diner at Wine O'Clock - I always walk impressed and the friends or business associates i take there always ask to go back. The food is creative and seasonal with a small but always interesting menu - everything they do they do well. It's part of the Bunnel Winery and their wines are served - always worth trying one of the flight of 3 or 4 wines. Susan the owner is usually present and cares deeply about the excellence of her restaurant and quality of food and service. It is a gem - be sure to make reservations!

The food was BAD! Best thing was the "Kid Friendly Pizza". After our meal, we all went to subway. Ate dinner at Bookwalter the night before, drive the extra 30mins for REAL FOOD! Staff was not really into serving, we were 3 of the 5 people in the whole place, but hanging out with the "Cooks" was first and foremost...

This is a must to stop in for pizza or whatever is on the menu. On this visit I had a lamb burger with brie and yummy local cherries smothered all over it. I wasn't eating bread since I had already drank my carbs, which was handy because I ate every tender morsel with a fork and knife.

The charred salad and fondue appetizer was tasty. The margherita style pizza had fresh ingredients. The mozzarella and dough was god but overall the pizza was a little bland. The pizza crust had a garlic seasoning, maybe spread the love on the rest of the pizza? I thought it was good, just could have used a little more flavor. Overall, Wine O' Clock was a nice find. The interior had a cozy, wood, modern fell to it. Nice open kitchen! Service was good and prices were reasonable.

I'll start with the positive - I really liked my food once I got it. We originally had reservations for 7 of us at 8:15, but they said they could accomodate us at 6:30 instead. Great! We get there at 6:30, and our waitress takes our drink and appetizer order - which she promptly forgets and has to come back to take it again. No biggie. Once she brought out the wine and apps, she came back eventually to take our orders. That was the last we saw of her - not even an glance our way - for an hour. Meanwhile she was socializing with another table out on the patio - laughing and having a great time. I had to go in and ask if we could get our water glasses filled. At that point, it was like they remembered we were there and about 20-30 minutes later they brought our food out. Some of us had great food, some of us got the wrong order, but ate it anyway, and some of the food had clearly been out for a LONG time. To be honest, we weren't too mad about waiting. It was a beautiful night and we were out on the patio. What bothered us was the treatment! We were literally treated as if we didn't exist. I know they had a big party inside, but all she had to do to make us satisfied was come out and either A. apologize for the wait, or B. bring us an "on the house" appetizer while we waited an hour and a half. We also drained our wine, and they could have made way more money if she came out to ask if we wanted more. So, to sum it up, the service was a total bust. I also went in to let them know that we were not going to pay the required 18% for parties 6 or greater. The hostess agreed to this, but was very rude. She said that was fine, but to remember that they were the generous ones that "squeezed" us in. Um, no. Don't squeeze us in if you can't handle the workload. We would have been fine with 8:15. That's about when we ate anyway. They need a little lesson on customer service.

I was extremely disappointed yesterday evening. A friend and I went there to have dinner, there were plenty (at least 5-10) of open tables outside, and the hostess said "sorry, not enough room tonight"! I have never been told "no" at a restaurant. Especially for only two people! I will never try to go there again.

Wow! This place is awesome. I love the setup, it's an open kitchen and they have a nice pizza oven. The tables and chairs are beautiful and comfortable. There are lots of windows and the staff was very nice. As we began browsing the menu, our server poured us a half glass each of their Rose, which was pretty good and totally free. They have delicious artisan pizza. We ordered the savory & sweet which had an olive oil based sauce, sharp cheddar cheese, bacon, and pears. The taste of the pears was delicious on the pizza but they got a little too mushy in texture which took away from the overall experience of eating it. We also purchased the white wine flight to go with it which was 3 half-glasses, riesling, viognier, and gewurztraminer - pretty good but nothing out of the ordinary. Prices were fairly reasonable - we shared our pizza, had a flight of wine, and 2 half glasses of rose for about $28. Not bad. Definitely worth a try to have a nice lunch, it gets packed pretty quick - we arrive on Saturday around 11:30am and it was pretty empty, so I recommend arriving early to get a good seat.

I went to Prosser's Vintners Village thinking it would be a wonderful experience. Aside from the commercial aspect and the fact it the whole area seemed like some manufactured home neighborhood, I went to Wine O'Clock upon suggestion. While my server was very friendly, I was told to stay in the lobby to taste some wines instead of being given a table or more friendly place to sit. I paid a mere $5 for 4 half glasses of wine but the whole experience seemed rather impersonal and the server was not able to share about each of the wines. Rather disappointing.

One of my favorite places of all time. Food is always, I repeat, ALWAYS fantastic. Also, with an ever changing menu this place will never get old. With the Bunnell wins as pairing, its also hard to go wrong. Of my favorite wines of all time, this small winery has 6 of my top 10. My reviews usually focus on food, but I want to take an an additional moment to talk about atmosphere and service. Wine O clock has that great and impossible to find mix of casual and fancy. Its the sort of place where you can feel classy but not pretentious or stuffy. The staff clearly is trained at a fine dining level, and the restaurant is clean, organized and well decorated, but it still has that feeling of relaxing in someones kitchen. Its a really impressive mix that many try and most fail. an absolute MUST visit. No exceptions, no excuses.

I was looking so forward to checking this place out as everyone here loves it. Well, the food was alright. The pear bacon pizza was very good, it sounds strange but tastes great..The wine was ok, I like tasting wine so it was a good opportunity to do that. The service however was awful. So slow. I had to ask the water gal a few times for help as the server hardly ever checked on us. That is the reason for the lower rating. I did like that surrounding Wine O Clock there are several other wine tasting opportunities.

Love love love! The food is fantastic; it is not uncommon for me to dream about the cheddar, pear, bacon pizza, and I don't even like bacon. Last time I branched out with the mushroom pizza, and was delighted. The wine is...there are no words to do it justice. I'm obsessed with the mourvedre, and have been blown away by all of the red flights I've tried. The service isn't the best, but it's acceptable because of the food. I don't usually say that. You can't go wrong with this place.

My partner and I had a great meal here last night. He had the apple and blue cheese pizza and the black bean soup. He liked both items although he noted that the soup was not much more than room temperature. I had the pork loin chop. It was very well prepared and quite tasty. We really enjoyed the evening. The servers were very attentive and friendly.

I came to Wine O'Clock for the first time on July 28th with family. We sat outside and the ambience was lovely with perfect weather. For the first half of our lunch, the service was good. At some point, our waitress went on break without a warning to us, seating herself nearby with a friend to eat lunch. We had already ordered, and three of the four meals came out together fairly promptly. My meal, a pizza, did not arrive at the same time. I am comfortable waiting a few minutes for my meal, but part of the appeal of dining out (at least in my opinion) is to enjoy food at the same time as your companions. Finally, after my family was half-finished and it had been more than ten minutes without any service, I had to get up, go inside the restaurant, and track someone down. At that point the woman I located spoke to the chef and delivered my food. The pizza (pear and bacon) was delicious. So was the grilled romaine salad. I believe my family enjoyed their food as well. The food in Seattle would be good, but in Central Washington the rating increases to excellent. However, the restaurant did not deduct the price of my pizza from our bill (which I felt was warranted in this situation). The waitress did bring out a complimentary dessert which was nice but not the appropriate remedy. Though the effort mitigated my annoyance at being unable to enjoy my meal at the same time as my family, I do feel the proper course of action would have been removing the cost of my meal from the bill, especially where the restaurant is higher-priced in terms of the area. I truly do not mind paying higher dining prices where the restaurant provides above-average food and service. Wine O'Clock is in Prosser, and as others have noted it is one of the only restaurants of its kind in the area. Would I go back? Perhaps. Do I feel the restaurant could make some improvements to their service and attention to detail? Most definitely.

So, I hate to be one of those people who reviews a place based solely on the service and the ambience, but I'm going to anyways in the interest of transparency. This seems to be the only place in the area that serves decent food, according to all of the tasting room staff we asked for suggestions. Unfortunately, that means the restaurant can be extremely rigid, inflexible, and not customer-oriented. We stopped in hoping to enjoy something to go or on the large outdoor patio in front of the place, only to be told that they aren't serving folks out there (despite the fact that there was another gentleman outside being served). We then asked if we could order, get our food inside, and then sit outside, without any expectation of receiving service out there. We could even bus our own table. We were then told that they only open the patio on nice days (the day we were there was 78 degrees without a cloud in the sky, and the forecast the entire week leading up to our visit showed that it would be a beautiful day). Additionally, the place was only about 1/4 full, so the argument that they were slammed and needed to keep everyone inside and close is null. So we left. Kind of a bi*chy move on our part, I realize, but I also wasn't super excited about spending $20 for a pizza and $10 for a miniature salad. Again, I guess you can do that when you're in the middle of a food desert. We ended up picking up a nice turkey pesto sandwich at Safeway for $5 and headed to a winery to sit outside in the sunshine with a few glasses of wine. Lesson learned: Next time we're in the area, we'll just rent a place with a kitchen.

We have been here twice already since we moved to Tri-Cities, and it is the best restaurant and dining experience anywhere around. They serve a rotating menu of artisan foods (yes I know, a novel concept for this area), with some truly wonderful Chef's Specials (see their Facebook page for all up to date information. They feature wines from the Bunnell Family Cellar (who at times use grapes from the esteemed Boushey Vineyards) as well as RiverAerie. The owners and staff are very sweet, making the place that much more special. We love supporting the independent businesses (coming from the mecca of home-growns in Portland), and Wine O'Clock always makes us happy! The restaurant is small and quaint (includes a lovely fireplace in the dining area), with plenty of tables to accommodate different group sizes. They also have some great counter seating where you can watch the cooking in action. It is decorated in a classic style with an extremely homey feeling. You can do a tasting and have lighter fare menu from 12-5pm M-Th (tasting is free if you are scheduled for dinner), or come for the regular menu Fr-Sun 12-8pm. We are totally smitten by the pizzas here, and admittedly have not tried other entrée dishes! The pizzas are just too good to pass up. Salumi from Seattle is our favorite, so we were so excited to see it on the menu here (both on pizza and charcuterie)! We also always get the Chef's Special pizza, as well as the Chef's Special appetizer. Their selections have never let us down. The pizzas are hand-crafted and are works of art, with a crust that is on the thinner side, served crispy, and topped with only the freshest ingredients. I can specifically recommend the charcuterie plate, it is dynamite. My only wish is that they were open later...it is tough to get done working and make it for dinner and be out by 8pm. As a side note, we'll be joining the Bunnell wine club at our next visit. After doing our research at local wineries, they have a solid selection of wines that we would be looking forward to receiving. Also, now open to all is their "Supper Club," check it out on their Facebook page. Maybe we'll see you there in May! This place could rival some of our favorites in Portland, and for this area is quite literally "as good as it gets." Solid 5 stars from me, and I can't wait to return.

This is a great place for lunch. The folks at Chukar Cherries told us it was best in the area which it clearly is. I had pizza. Interesting choices. Salads and sandwiches looked interesting but you can't try everything. The flights of wine were the best part for me. I enjoyed the variety available. The result was a wine purchase of a rhone red blend and some Gewürztraminer. Service was good. Definitely a place to stop. I gather from reviews it is good for dinner too!

I really really like this place. It is a nice treat after all the chains in Tri-Cities. The setting is unique - almost like having a meal in someone's fancy kitchen at home. Everything is one large yet cozy room. There are only 8 or 9 tables in the main room but lots of outdoor seating. The menu is small but delicious, lots of seasonal choices. We began our meal with grilled asparagus and a meat-and-cheese plate. It was awesome! For dinner, I had the pear and bacon pizza with a flight of wine wines. They have a large pizza oven that makes these extra delicious. My mom had the lamb with roasted vegetables that she very much enjoyed. We finished with some chocolate cake and a creme brulee. I finally felt like I was getting some local flavor since moving to the area. As the weather warms, I look forward to going back for some wine and cheese on the patio.

I'm giving this place 3.5 stars. We were referred to Wine O'Clock by someone in the neighborhood of Prosser and were excited about this eatery/wine spot. The restaurant is laid out identical to your best friends kitchen and is just as cozy. The island/bar separates the dining area from the stove and prep area so you see the chef cooking away. The hanging pictures tell the story of the small family run wine operation right out of the home. The special of the day...er the only thing offered on this day...was a chicken sandwich with mozzarella on a ciabatta bread. We did see the menu and there are alot of dishes that seemed especially tasty, however the only thing offered on this Monday was the sandwich. The sandwich was really tasty, the chicken was moist and the bread tasted as if it was just pulled from the oven. I had the Riesling and it didn't suit my palette, so I left over half the glass on the table. We were curious about the place and our server suggested we speak with the owner since she was there. Later the server came back and told us the owner was busy and wasn't going to come over so she tried to answer our questions. I was shocked to see the owner very much present but didn't come over to speak to her own customers. I was also surprised that the server didn't offer another wine or option since I didn't enjoy the Riesling I had. Overall the sandwich we had was good. The wine that I tried was okay and the service was not superb, but the atmosphere is comfortable, open and at the same time cozy and I'll give this place another try.

I brought my sister and aunt here for my a birthday lunch for my aunt. I found it on Yelp. We had a my sister's 14 mos. old son with us, and even though he was curious, he's very well-behaved. Even so, I say it's not a place for kids. It's a very relaxing place with a wonderful open kitchen and friendly staff. A black and white Julia Child video played on a big screen TV, and I especially enjoyed this! We had a wine and cheese pairing with breads, and shared the pear bacon pizza. All really good. We got a kick out of watching Julia Child cooking poultry (not the most appetizing, but whatever, it was very entertaining.) It's a gem of a find, located on the outskirts of Prosser which is not the most sophisticated place on the planet. There's plenty of parking, and I think in the spring the garden out front must be gorgeous with fresh lavender. We were there around Christmas time. I enjoy fine dining, and going to places that pace the meal well. It takes a special server to get that. I'm sort of European like that. I believe if you're going to drop $100+ on lunch you should really enjoy your friends and family and their conversation. So often, servers rush out the drinks and apps and entrees, so there's all this food getting cold and you can't enjoy it. It's not like that here. There wasn't much overlap to rush us. I think this is the mark of fine dining. Afterall, quality servers will earn the same tips if they are polite and conscientious of the people they are serving. I think this place does a great job training their people. Anyone who has visited the great metropolis of Prosser knows: There's not a ton of culture. But now you can check out this little gem!

July 3, 2012 - stopped here after it was recommended and the only place in to eat. The restaurant was completely empty except for the two people we joined. We asked to move a table and join them and were seated. A female staff member told us to MOVE and that we were in the way! There was not another person in the restaurant. We left, there is no customer service.

I went out to Washington visiting Dude on a business trip, and he found this place on Yelp. Dude had the bacon burger and now dreams about finding a burger this good back home in California. I had the veggie pesto sando and it made my tummy happy. The lunch menu is short, but the quality is top notch. My only regret is that we didn't have more meals here! *sniff* But on a another note, there are some other wineries near by which is also really cool.

Great job Susan! The food and wine pairings were great! I especially enjoyed the salmon. The chilled pea soup.. I am going to steal this one and call it my own! And what about the black pansy sorbet... D-LISH! Thanks for your hospitality, I will make sure to send some people your way!

I planned a day for my wife with some stops along the way from the Airport in Tri-Cities to Yakima. So I chose this place at semi-random. Best Choice Ever... well second, the first was to get married to my wife. Anyway, for the quality of food it should have been a lot more exspensive. That was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Sad news is we were not local so we couldn't go back. If I ever do make it back in that direction I am going to go back for sure. I've already told my friends who live in WA about this place. I wish you were here (Wine O'Clock to be in the Bay Area CA).

I absolutely adore this place! I've never encountered a bad experience here. The food has always been great. It's so nice to have some specials every time we go. The wines are great and I love to order the flights to try several at a time. The servers are always friendly and take good care of us. It's the best thing around these parts. We travel about 30 miles to dine here often!

Enjoyed visiting Suzane's beautiful restaurant twice on this trip to wine country. As usual, great wines, service and freshness of ingredients and flavors. There was a new item on the menu of clams in broth. Somehow they let me talk them into adding fusilli pasta into the mix. It was delicious. I suggest they add it to the item. The menu can be enlarged a bit to accommodate a wider array of tastes. Just my humble opinion. good job, nevertheless.

The only place in Prosser that tasted good! Thank you Wine O'Clock. We had the chef's trio of scallops, tomatoes, and bay scallops ceviche. Excellent! Paired well with the wine pairings recommended on the menu. Had the savovry and sweet pizza (pear and bacon) for an entre and it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Wine pairings for pizza was great too. Had the lavendar and ginger creme brule with french press coffee for desert. Excellent! Highly recommend.

This restaurant is located in the middle of several wonderful tasting rooms. The food is wonderful and so is the service. My husband and I had some bad luck with restaurants in Prosser, but now that we have found Wine O'Clock we will only go there when in town.

After a long morning of wine tasting it was wonderful to come to Wine O'Clock. Walking into the warm and inviting restaurant and being greeted and served by knowledgeable and helpful staff made this stop on our wine tour a complete gem, but it is the amazing food that will keep us coming back. We read wonderful reviews of this destination and we were not disappointed!! Pizza and anti pasta that were representative of all of the wonderful herbs and tastes of the area, lavender and fennel grown just outside the restaurant. It was like eating a work of art, but art has never tasted this good!!
