Their happy hour is pretty good. The atmosphere here is nothing unique. It's a fun college town place with good food and drink. I would suggest either the hypnotist or an fbomb. Fbombs taste like juice with around two shots in it. Mainly rum. Other than that all their snacks are tasty. The one great thing here is that their happy hour is everywhere and not just in the bar. It's great if you're meeting someone who isn't 21 and still want to be able to enjoy a great drink and snacks. Their pasta is okay. It's not particularly worth the cost so I would consider their pizza. It's not bad if you want it really bad but I would suggest going somewhere more pasta specific.

Terrible service every time! I've had to order my drinks at the bar because the servers were MIA. Food is pretty good and I usually end up going because it is so close to home and work, and it was someone else's idea to go. Awhile ago I went and one of the waitresses that was a PLU student at the time, and she kept going on about how much she hated the parkland community and doesn't know why anyone would want to live here. I was pretty offended to say the least. The last time I was in the servers were accidentally playing softcore porn in the bar.

Wood-fired oven, my ass.. it's gas oven that produces substandard pizzas... horrible crust and ho-hum toppings. All at prices that are entirely way too high for what you get. What could go wrong? Seriously, save yourself the money, you may as well just stay home and get Pappa Murphy's....

  • Micah G.

Over priced for the quality of pizza, I've honestly had better pies at dominos down the street

The restaurant itself is nice. Prime corner spot. We had an excellent server named Eddie who was all over it! Great Job Eddie!!!! But...for $25 for a pizza I expected a lot more. I mean a LOT more. :( Our Deluxe Pizza had very skimpy toppings, thin crust, not enough cheese. I would put the price of the pizza we received at no more than $15. I'm sure the actual cost to make it was around $5. (if that) I think I'll stick to Amante or Pegasus if I want to go out for a pie.

I arrived at Farrelli's with two other adults and a five year old at 7.45pm. The restaurant wasn't busy, and we were seated promptly. The waitress took our order and dissapeared. Our pizzas arrived at 8.42pm. An hour for two pizzas! No apology nor explanation was given.

Great food I've always loved this place but the service was bad because we walked in and no one seated us until we said something about it after 10 minutes of waiting and they weren't busy.

I been to this place many times. Service is okay depending which night. Some servers are very attentive. And some well... Couple times i have to wait about 10min just to get a refill on my drinks. Pizza is good, their dough is amazing. MacCheese is good too.

It's a pricey pizza joint, but they bake a good pie. The wood fire oven pizza has fresh minor burned taste, but in a appetizing way! I recommend this place as often you can afford it, but you're broke like me I would say treat yourself once every two weeks. Happy Eating Hungry eBayer 3 Stars For High Price

Great pizzas. The Annie is awesome. Cool atmosphere. Would recommend others. 18 beers on tap. Pool tables. Lots of bar area seating with a fire place. Outdoor seating.

What a disappointment! Our return to this establishment only proved to be a waste of time! Service was horrendous and meal followed the pattern!

  • Danielle E.

The food is superb, the drinks are strong, and the staff is hella fun. (Ask for Marco and Ashley. They'll treat you EXTRA nice.) I always get Canadian bacon and pineapple with a side salad, and bread sticks. They're super accommodating to families and big groups and watching the pizza get made is awesome. I eat here every chance I get.

Overpriced garbage!!!!! a "small" pizza,... over $18 for this crap. lol,.. im not trying to be sarcastic. i literally have had frozen pizza for $5 baked in my oven at home that tasted better. This is the second time ive been here, and there wont be a third. At most pizza places the size of the pizza i got would be considered a "small"! This pizza was tiny and tasted awful. i guess the only way to enjoy the food there is to have a few drinks first during their "happy hour"

Went to Farellis on Friday it was super busy , we got seated right away in a both . The staff was nice but they took super long to take our order . I was about tell my husband we should go then the girl finally came to take our order . We ordered and the pizza was decent but super pricy !! :/ if you like to pay 29 dollars for plain pizza with thin crust Farellis is for you !!!

I received a personal email from Marcolina the manager apologizing and offer a gift card for our poor experience. We recently moved to Tacoma from Illinois. I told her we are staying at a hotel. She went out of her way to drop it at the front desk. That is what customer service is all about. We will go back in and give them another try. The menu looked good so I'm actually excited. Thanks!!!! Marcolina

In sep the 22nd i went there after class to get a late dinner. The bar wasn't busy, there were probably 6 people in there. I had to wait for 5 minutes until i got seated, then another 5 minutes until the waitress came to take my order. I asked a simple question, is there any meal that has no pork in it? She simply said no and didn't offer to guide me through the menu. I asked for a couple minutes to rethink, and here goes 20 minutes waiting for her to comeback. I went to the cashier to pay for my pepsi, the same waitress was there, she ignored me and went back to the kitchen. Another waitress came and said you dont have to pay for your pepsi if thats all you got! NO APOLOGy!! Such a waste of time. Although i would have went there multiple times a week if their service was good due to my night classes being nearby, ill never go there again. To top it off, the waitress was spending all that time with apparently her boyfriend who was sitting at the bar. Ill share my experience through social media so that i could save these who i care about some time and money.

A good place to go and eat pizza. The dough they use is fresh and comes out soft. The 16" pizza is decent size wish they offered a larger size for family's. Prices range up to around $25.95 for a large. Keep in mind it does take a little bit of a wait for them to cook the pizza.

  • Lisa M.

Gross appetizer, pizzas were gross, and dessert was frozen. I have heard great things about this place from others so we were really excited to go... will not go back. Overpriced bad food with fake service.

I have gone to a couple of Farellis on different trivia nights. Parkland is the best by far! MC Train does an excellent job keeping us on our toes and entertained. Great drink specials, although we will miss Hell or High Watermelon. Service here has been awesome. Ashley puts up with our team every week with a smile on her face and always gets us our drinks and food in a timely manner. Annies pizza is still my favorite.

Oh man. Some of my buddies and I went down here on a Saturday night and it was surprisingly packed. Bartenders were friendly and the food we has was pretty good. Pizza was delicious as far as I remember, but it wouldn't be a fair rating. They liquored me up pretty and everything is delicious when you're feeling that good. But the morning after was when we came back for Sunday morning Seahawks football. Yeah, we do that. Pizza, wings and beer on a Sunday morning? Yeah it was all good! Staff was still friendly and attentive even through the screaming and yelling on an early morning with maybe only two other groups there. I just wish they had more breakfast food. Maybe like a breakfast pizza. That sounds amazing! Ps they also have amazing game day deals too. So, that's also a thing.

I wrote a review about the less than stellar service and met the manager and also was given a gift certificate and I will have to say it was top notch quality this time. Finally a fresh pizza after the third time around. I would be willing to come here again maybe it was just a couple of bad days. The free pizza also made up for there awful rewards program which I hope they can get fixed.

This place has the best pizzas. I've eaten at this Farrelli's about 10-12 times this year. I really like this place. They really try to take care of you. I have met the owners more than once here and they are really great. I love the fact that they are a local business. And not a big chain. Their really focused on quality and the service has been top notch every time I have been here. Today my server is Danielle. Tip her big if you sit in her section. She works hard. A couple of times there was a wait but it's worth the wait. Their pizzas are addicting and they have a great beer selection.

  • Ryan W.

Came here for lunch with some friends and ordered the lunch special... a slice with any two toppings, small salad and drink for 8 bux if i remember? Pizza wasn't bad and the salad wasn't anything worth writing home about. It was pretty dead inside but our server was polite... ohh and its pretty far out there. Unless you live nearby (which our friends did) you can find better pizza within civilzation!

Farelli's is a small Washington-based pizza chain that does the trick for me when visiting the Tacoma area. It's not amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but the attention to detail, solid service, and happy hour specials make it "rise" above other pizza chains (why is there so much love for Little Caesar's in this area???). The variety of toppings is sufficient and the pizza is tasty and filling -- just be prepared to wait a bit, even when they are not busy. I was also impressed with their tap beer selection -- typically, one would expect to see nothing but domestic lining the taps, but there were plenty of craft beers available at the Parkland location. Service has been solid every time I have dined here; though those times have also been when classes were not in session at nearby PLU. I don't find the price any more or less than the major chains; you can walk out of here with a cheap pizza dinner for 2 for under $15. Plenty of TVs if you want to catch local or national sporting events, and the restaurant is decorated in the regalia of area sporting teams (Mariners, Seahawks, Sounders, Huskies, etc.) Overall: not bad, not astounding...an A-OK is an adequate review!

  • Steven L.

Overall, a pretty good pizza joint. Firesticks were awesome. Pretty much Jalapenos bread sticks with a great taste...I high recommend it! Mamas house salad is good. Family size will feed 4-6 people. Pizzas we got: BBQ Chicken Ranch - my favorite one of the four we got Caprese Chicken Fawaiian (Not Hawaiian but Fawaiian) Veggie I'd definitely go back if I'm ever in the neighborhood again.

  • Kim P.

Hmmmm, I'm torn between giving them 4 stars but I think a 3 star is more fitting and here's why: Customer Service is imperative. period. and well unfortunately this location lacks this:( Maybe because they are all tired, over worked, college students that have to serve, rowdy, over zealous college students ...hmmm, maybe? Food is pretty good, it seems to vary as well depending on the dish. A little overpriced for the food. Parking is horrible. OK, I feel better now about the 3 star rating after writing this all down.

    (3)
  • Charlie H.

Good food- the pizza and apps I've had are always made with good ingredients. The staff seems to be made up mostly of college students from PLU which is near by. They have always been friendly and very helpful to me and my group. On top of that, they always seem eager to work and please the customer. A+ work! The drinks are also good- Great selection of beer! The prices can be a little high but overall, I've always had a pleasant experience when I've gone to Farrellis.

I am a fan of Farrelli's! Their pizza is good and my son loves that they allow kids to make their own pizza. Their salads are even better than their pizza and with a huge selection of beers, who can complain?? This visit we tried out their gluten free pizza and were pleasantly surprised. The crust was good and had a crepe like taste but the crispiness of a regular pizza. Definitely try this place out if you want some good food!

    (4)
  • Benita K.

The pizza is decent but super overpriced. Happy hour is a little bit more reasonable...the James' favorite is pretty good. Salads are alright but by no means amazing. Basically mediocre food all around, for $10-20 (happy hour is $6-10) a pop. Service is good, though.

  • Stina F.

I love this place!!!!! Always fresh and super good. Crew are very nice and food come at a decent amount of time. The decor and everything is so cool and comfortable. Really fits the place. My favorite pizza is defiantly the margarita pizza. A must try!

Apparently, this was one of my daughter's hangouts while attending Pacific Lutheran University (PLU). Its located just off campus, next to the Garfield Bookstore (school bookstore). The pizza is better than your average takeout variety but nothing special. They do have other items on their menu for those who prefer something other than pizza. My best description of the place is "upscale college casual" (is that a new category?). Its a very relaxed atmosphere, not too loud, at least when we were there. They do have a very good variety of beers, even had Kona Brewing on tap.

  • Rachel S.

Pizza is great. Service was lacking on the day I went which is why I rated it a three rather than a four star. The waitress was distracted and took forever to refill our drinks, bring our to go boxes, and our check. We felt abandoned. Also, the dining room was "very" family friendly and had two screaming babies on the night I went. Lucky me! I didn't like the breadsticks. They were covered in cheese and were almost like a pizza themselves. Silly me, I guess breadsticks should be "breadsticks". The pizza itself was great though! Great crust, sauce, and loved the choices of toppings! (Any place that lets me put artichokes on my pizza has my attention! Yum!) I will note that the pizza did taste even better next day as heated leftovers.... Yum. All in all I think I prefer the rock, but this place had excellent pizza. Maybe I'll be back and be able to update my review on the service! :)

Good food, but HORRIBLE service. We had a reservation for 10 at 630 and got there at 610. We were asked 3 times which party we were with and we were told each time "oh ya we're setting it up". A party of 8 without reservations came in behind us at 620 and they were given our seats. We weren't afforded an apology for this, but, after asking, we were told we would be the next ones seated. Service was really slow and about 20 minutes after ordering my husband was told that they were out of the beer and meal he ordered. Multiple people at our table also got the wrong drink orders and nobody had their drinks refilled unless they had beer. After everyone's tabs were collected, except for ours, we decided to go up front to pay. We were then told they couldn't run our card because their internet was down. They did give us free breadsticks after our seats were given away, but really we should have had a manager come over to our table to apologize for everything that happened. I also find it interesting that there are multiple reviews on here regarding poor service and the manager only comments back on the good reviews. Wouldn't it be important to try and improve your restaurant? We will not be going back.

Had a great dinner at Farrelli's Wood Fire Pizza (Sumner) tonight! We order the crab and artichoke dip as an appetizer, with a pizza for the entree. I have to say that they have the best crab dip we have ever tasted, it's better than some "fine dining" places that we have tried! If you are ever in the small town of Sumner WA, I highly recommend dining at this place. The food is excellent with fresh ingredients, and the staff is very friendly!!

I'm a fan of Farrelli's, especially for late night happy hour. Ever since high school my friends and I would meet up after sports games, shows, or just whenever to hang out and enjoy their happy hour. I'm not sure I would pay full price, but when you add in the happy hour discounts or social media check in specials it is fun and delicious. It's a casual environment and no one cares if my crazy friends make a lot of noise. That's the beauty of places right next to a college! ;) We will surely be back.

  • Rona L.

I came here for a friend's going away party and had a lot of fun. We sat in the bar and there was only one guy taking care of 10 tables, so service was a little slow. But he was super friendly and got everything you needed, so I didn't mind. I ordered a salad, Phil's Creation - chicken, pineapple, bacon, and caramelized onions. It tasted like a Hawaiian pizza without the crust - - so good! AND it came with two pieces of cheese bread sticks, so I didn't even have to skip out on the carbs. A couple of us ordered paninis, and I was underwhelmed. But this is a pizza place, so don't order a sandwich! To drink, I ordered/tried: the purple pear, the fruit roll up (strawberry), the gobstopper, and the strawberry lemon drop. Loved all of them! Good food, good atmosphere...

  • Annette B.

Yummy pizza! My husband and I have only been here once and tried one of their signature pizzas with cream cheese as a topping. It was beyond delicious! Loved it! It was pretty busy when we went. The wait time was at least 20-30 minutes and the wait for the food once you were seated was just as long. All in all good experience, would return!

The food here is great, and the staff is friendly. It would get 5 stars, but the food is a bit pricey.

The pizza is pretty tasty at Farrelli's and so are the drinks. Sundays are all-day happy hour, which is an awesome deal! The environment is fun and is a great place to hang out with friends.

  • Josh S.

Farelli's is really hit or miss. It's generally a hit though. I have had some incredible nights here that have been fueled by the fun bar staff. I have also had some unreasonably slow lunches while being ignored by the midday staff. Either way, their happy hour is pretty excellent. It used to be better (read: cheaper) but it's still hard to beat 4.50 for a medium pizza sized order of cheesy garlic bread with dipping sauces. The happy hour drinks are some of the cheapest in the area, and with a couple of cocktails on the menu, the happy hour is what makes this place shine. Their pizza is pretty good but I wouldn't say it's anything mind blowing. Most of the time, I really like their crust but I feel that it can be a little inconsistent. . But I've also had some great sandwiches and salads. My favorite is the Phil's Creation.

I go to this place every Friday for their happy hour. It is a pretty good place to drink with a group and the food is moderately priced. I use this place as more of a bar than a restaurant, and my bar standards are pretty easy to meet: the service is good and the beer is cold, so I will keep coming back.

Good wood fired pizza. It's similar to eating your everyday dominos, but you only order when you're in the mood. Slightly over priced, but the good isn't bad.

My family and I went there for the first time last night. Once we walked in, there was nobody at the host/hostess station. We had been waiting about 5 minutes before someone came out. We were seated at a table with no silverware. It also took a little while for our waitress to come by. I had gotten up a few times to go to the hostess station to ask for crayons and nobody was there each time I went. When our waitress arrived, we already knew what we wanted to order. She was very sweet and brought out pizza dough for my kids to play with. The pizza was okay. My husband and I prefer The Rock overall. When our food arrived, we asked for silverware and napkins. Again, our waitress, Monica was great, but I don't think we will be returning.

It's loud in there more often than not. The pizza is great but overpriced for what you are getting. The booze is too for that matter. Monday is open mic night. Quite possibly the best night in there because it is the quietest.

This place is hit and miss -- lately more hit than miss, but I'm skeptical based on previous experiences. We first went here in late 2007 and swore we'd not come back and of course, we went back once or twice under duress. Until election night 2008 -- a 2 1/2 hour wait in line at the polling place all of a half-block from Farelli's... so what did we do, we starving, bored, waiting voters? We ordered carry-out from Farelli's, of course. And it was the best thing I've ever tasted... but then again, at that point, instant ramen noodles would have gotten the same review... anyhow, they were really nice and attentive while we waited for the carry-out to bring back to the polling place and the food was genuinely good. So we went back last night. The breadsticks (cheese-bread-goodness) are darn good. Get 'em during happy-hour, add chicken and you've got a meal for two for ~$8.00. Once again, the staff was really nice and very helpful.

It's been a while since I ate here, but the pizza was melt in your mouth to die for good. Yum! The sandwiches were okay, much better than fast food joints, but I went there for the pizza at the recommendation of friends. We had so much fun there and were stuffed by the time we left. The other dishes were okay as well. Be warned that it does get crowded and they really should have made it a bigger place, so get there early.

Okay so I have to say this is a great place to pick up pizza from, the pizza is always made with fresh ingredients. I mean compared to the food chain pizza places go here instead way better quality of food. As for the service they get the job done I have never had any complaints about it. For example my husband and I went there for lunch a few months back ordered a perfect pepperoni our favorite. Well the waitress came by and informed us that the cook had burnt our pizza ( we actually thought that was funny) and didn't really notice that our order was taking to long. In this case they gave us half off our whole order we were pleased with our perfectly baked pizza that did come out. This place will continue to be our go to place for pizza. Oh and the bread sticks are great. If you don't like the atmosphere or the service just call in your order and pick up in 20 mins plus you always get a coupon when you pick up for you next visit.

GREAT FOOD and FANTASTIC SERVICE!! We arrived and were told we would need to wait about 5 minutes. I was clear that we only had an hour till we needed to be somewhere else. They were quick at getting us a seat and the server was excellent on taking care of everything. She was highly focused on the time and made sure we got our food with plenty of time to enjoy it. The only thing I could say poorly is that the Fire Breadsticks were really not all that hot. Tasty, just not spicy hot. I guess I like my food a lot more spicier than others. :)

After visiting Neos Woodfire Pizza, I was addicted to these establishments for going out with friends. Went here and was very impressed. The waitress was friendly, insightful, and very cute. The food was fantastic. I got the wings sampler and meat lovers calzone. Everything was nice and hot All my friends were very impressed with the flavor and quality of the food ~ even the drinks were perfect. The only flaw if any is the price of the food items but given the facility and type of service, it's well worth it.

We ordered a large "James' favorite"- which had a white sauce, bacon and some other deliciousness. They said it would take 15-20 minutes, ended up taking a little longer. We waited at the bar and I had their spicy bloody may, which wasn't that spicy- but still yummy. They also had a decent selection of beers and cider on tap. We came on a Sunday, and it's all day HH, and a large pizza is $15 with a valid military ID. So our $25+ pizza was ten bucks cheaper..score! They have a lot of daily specials. Oh and the pizza was delicious, even if we had to wait an extended period of time for it.

I would give no stars if I could, but that isn't an option. Myself and 3 of my coworkers came in on the weekened, today, and sat down at 1130, we put out orders in maybe 10 min after. Besides coming back to refill our water, we didn't see the waitress until we had to hunt her down to ask about our food. By this point it was 1215, we waited 45 min with nothing, and not only that, there was only 5 other patrons in the restauraunt. We did not get complicated dishes, only sandwiches, and where we were sitting we could see through the window of the door leading into the kitchen, so we could see the cooks just standing there chatting with one another. We had to ask them to box the food to go because we simply could sit around any longer. They offered 25% off each of our tabs, but at that point I feel like it should have been more, we didn't leave the restaurant until 1230 because it took them so long to even box up the food, which was cold. Our waitress kept saying she was sorry as she was bringing our reciepts back, but I think it was all lip service, we watched her stand there and chat with customers and not once check on the food or give us an update on why it was taking so long. NOT EVERY GOING BACK AND WASTING MY TIME!

So I always want to give good reviews over poor ones but unfortunately the Parkland location has a service manager named Erica who cannot really remember simple drink orders. That's ok because Kelsey makes up for her lack of service. Food is just as good as the other Farelli's but that's just what happens when people move to management too soon, they forget how to serve. Sumner Farelli's is still the best.

The absolute best pizza around, hands down! The James Favorite is amazing. We always add a family salad and it's always fresh. The service is always great and takeout is always easy and flawless. Oh and you must try the bread!!!

My husband and I enjoy the food very much !!! However everytime we come in it seems to take forever for our server to come by and greet us for drink orders. Also our appetizers always super long to get , even when it's slow in there . This past visit I ordered a ceaser side salad and I think I waited about 15-20 min to recieve. Besides the slow on getting everything the wait staff is extremely friendly and accomadating when they are around

Our first time, Alex REALLY wanted a good cheesey pizza for his birthday dinner. We went here, it was a Friday night so we totally forgave the long 30-40 minutes between our appetizer and pizza, especially because our server was so nice. (I think her name was Courtney) It wasn't all THAT packed for that long of a wait between plates but we weren't sweating it. Our Focaccia-Pepperoni app with balsamic reduction & a house dipping sauce was dope. Take that into account when you digest the fact that I still could only give them a two-star. When we finally got our pizza, it was really good! The crust was good, the sauce a little spicy, nice meats: wait, where were those two cheeses? Even our waitress noticed when we got a box (to take home and put cheese on) that something was missing. The cheese. She wanted to have the kitchen put more cheese on it but we didn't want to irritate the party the cooks were having on the line with our outrageous request for cheese on the other half of our $25 pizza. See my picture for reference to how much (or none) cheese you may or may not get on your pie. So she got him a birthday dessert- a cookie ice cream sandwich. She brought it & lit him a nice candle: then we saw the cookies had been totally overdone under the broiler before they got the ice cream & were totally torched. He ate what he could but I didn't blame him for not eating blackened cookie. Again, our poor waitress noticed a little too late when she grabbed the plate and asked. If I were her I'd be so mad at my kitchen staff, I hope she let them have it. We tipped her great because she was great- but she deserved to serve better plates. It'd take some incentive for me to want to take my poor Alex back after blowing my own birthday money on a cheese less pizza. Kick your cook's asses into gear, guys! They were more interested in cheering when a child pushed an emergency alarm button than in putting cheese on a pizza for us. :/

Came here on a quite weird night. Apparently it was Harry Potter Trivia Night? Interesting... more like noisy when I was there to speak to a friend about some important matters. But then again, it is not like we knew. The reason this place gets 3 stars is because of their lack of customer service. We ordered the Farelli's Fire Stix with only bleu cheese on the side but they brought the whole dish with sides all on the side...never tastes as good when everything that is supposed to be nicely melted is just stiff... on the side. We did not want to ask for a re-do so ended up just munching on dry bread pieces with cheese sprinkles. Other than that, I ordered one of their $4 Slytherin special drinks thanks to the Harry Potter theme and one other drink but cannot remember. It was alright. Maybe I will have better luck if I come on a less busier night.

Amazing food and awesome pepole!!! If you get the chance ask if T.T. is working and have her serve you. T.T. is amazing and a professional! A credit to the establishment as well as as an awesome waitress.

The service was excellent. We ordered the Greek pizza and the chicken ranch. Both were delicious and all fresh ingredients. It was not busy but it did take about 25-30 minutes for the pizza to come out. It seems like it is cooked in a fire pit (oven) isn't that a quick cook oven? We ordered the gluten free crust which was delicious!!! I was very pleased with the staff and food. I did not understand the wait time though.

It's hard to choose my favorite item, but I love that I can go to Farelli's and enjoy my meal no matter what I have to eat. The wings have been cooked in some sort of honey mustard and hot sauce, the salads are amazing and their homemade ranch is on point. Great desserts and bar menu, and the pizza is second to none!

Order the Chicken Cordon Blue pizza. It is not on the menu but you wont be disappointed! The staff at the Parkland/Spanaway location tends to be a bit slow and doesn't rise to the occasion when under pressure...eventually they come around. We usually order the pizza, family salad and soda. We are a part of the fireside grill club and get coupons for a few dollars off and every bit helps! If you have kids with you, they can ask the wait staff for some dough to play with and keep them busy while you wait! Overall, the best woodfired pizza in town!

Stopped in on 7/12/15 for a late lunch/early dinner. Spent almost 10 minutes waiting to be seated - there was a party of 2 ahead of us, but the thing was there was no hostess. The bartender looked at us a few times, but didn't help. There were only about 3 people in the bar. After the hostess surfaced, we were finally seated. We pretty much had the menu memorized when the hostess came to our table to let us know our server was "tied up" so she'd be getting our drinks. At this point, were about 25 minutes into our visit & still have not ordered. There was 1 table of about 15-20, but they were already served food. Other than that group, there were about 6 other tables. All the empty tables were not bussed & there was food scraps, napkins, and silverware on the floor throughout the dining area. We had a lot of time to look around while we were waiting. Our waitress finally surfaced. We were getting ready to order and she stopped me mid sentence to let me know the ticket times were longer than normal. We've eaten here a handful of times and the ticket times are usually slow - I got concerned. I asked her what is longer than normal. She said ticket times are normally 20 minutes, but they were not averaging 35-45. She also offered to check with the kitchen to get a better idea. My husband & I decided we spent enough time there already & told her we were leaving. As we walked out, I noticed there was only one person in the kitchen & the woman, who I believe was the manager, just watched us walk out. Very disappointed - you guys have decent pizza, but if you cannot staff your restaurant properly, we won't be the last people walking out.

We had pizza (sausage, pepperoni,& bacon), crab & artichoke dip, sausage & cheese lasagna, and caprese salad. Everything tasted great. The waitress kept our daughter entertained. Very quiet on a Sunday night.

DO NOT GO TO THIS FARELLIS!!! Seriously the worst service I have ever had. We waited over an hour for food before we said something. Only to be told they had not even started our food. Which was Salads and pizza. They did not even offer to pay for the drinks we had while sitting there waiting that entire time. We ended up walking right across the from the building to Pita Pit. That was delicious. Thank god, because we were starving by that point.

Was looking for a place that was kid friendly and saw that they had a .99 deal on mondays with adult purchase. Aden was our waiter and was very kind knowledgable and on point with our refills! Had the kids get pasta, one of each and I tried the chefs slice of the day with tomato gorganzola bisque. Aden asked the kids if they wanted dough to play with and was very pleasant to them. Everything was delicious from the pizza to the soup and their pasta. Will try this place again. A big thanks to Aden for making our first experience there awesome!

1st time we went there the pizza was REAL good, this last time we went it was so so, I understand all cooks have their off nights so not going to hold it against them, but wasnt impressed with the pizza last time had it so had to knock it down a star. They do have a ncie selection of drinks though :) and a decent price.

The pizza is good, little greasy. Salads and other dishes are great. Good lunch prices make it a great place to get together. However, lunch can start to feel like Gilligan's Island. They get you your food and then forget about you. The staff simply needs better training. 8 out of 10 times you need to go find your waitress to get service or your bill. Hard to get eye contact for assistance. Dinner time is much better.

I love this place! The thing i love most about this place is that they are open late! And of course the food is yummy. Just had a calzone and loved it! Love the bread sticks! Garlic twists r okay. And my companions enjoyed their pizzas and foccacia bites. They also have gluten free options as well and a honey wheat crust! Have yet to have something bad here. And after 9pm they have happy hour specials! Love that I can get a table anytime. Have been there like six times and only had one bad/very inattentive server. The decor/atmosphere is typical pizza joint and the place has always been clean. I will be going again, and again and...

Personally, I don't see what all the fuss is over "wood-fired pizza" Farrellis, The Rock, Neo....it all tastes the same to me-BLAND!! Cloverleaf crust beats that crust hands down. I go to this joint for everything BUT the pizza. The Italian sandwich is the bomb, fantastic salads and the Tomato/Gorgonzola soup - I get one to eat-in and one to-go. A great selection of beers. One of few places that I've seen M&J's Serengeti Wheat. Ditch the pizza, call the place Farrellis Deli-restaurant and add a star and 1/2.

best pizza in Tacoma. have there Tuesday takeout special. they give you a few bucks off. if you like wood fired pizza you should love this place. great Cesar salad. I can definitely say this place has good service and great food. ice cold beer and pizza what a combo. they have opened a few more joints but I've only been to the one in Tacoma so I can only review this place. I noticed a lot of high school kids and college kids here working so please tip well. I remember when I worked in a Resturant it helps to pay the rent. if you don't mind paying for good food it's worth it. this is not $5 for a whole pizza. it's about $20 but I don't mind paying the difference because it taste that much better.

My wife and I went to Farelli's over on 6th Ave years back and when it came to Parkland we swore to support it. We have been there four times and they have hit the mark 50% of the time. The service is lacking until you got your mouth full then they run over to ask if you want anything else. The pizza is a little spendy but not bad for the taste and the atmosphere is definitely geared for a younger crowd. I do like that they have an open mic night and pool table and can accommodate large groups of people. The beer select is ok thankfully not a lot of domestic on tap. We will continue to support them periodically but they need to work on the service and lowering the prices of the pizza. Guess that's the price we have to pay to be hip.

We went here a couple of years ago, and had a pizza. At that time we thought the pizza was only mediocre. Definitely not on par with pizzas at the Downtown Tacoma Rock or the Cloverleaf. We determined we wouldn't come back. But last night we had to go for our niece's birthday party. There was a party of 30 of us. They had one waitress for our party and she wasn't even dedicated to our section. It took an hour before she took orders for food, and another 30 minutes before the first salad came out. Two hours total before we even got our sandwiches, which were not very good. Kind of bland. Some in the party waited 2.5 hours before they got their food. After receiving food, I asked for a refill on a soda. 15 minutes later it had still not arrived. I had to ask again. It was almost painful when we received our check and saw the 18% gratuity had already been tacked on. In normal circumstances, service like this would cause me to not leave any tip. Very bad service and the food isn't great. For a great pizza experience with friendly prompt service in T-Town check out the Cloverleaf or the Downtown Tacoma Rock Wood Fired Pizza.

Maybe I was expecting too much. My wife brought home some of their leftover BBQ Chicken Pizza about a week or so ago and I thought it was great. I went there with her for the first time and was pretty disappointed. We decided on the California Pizza. It was a bit pricey (23.99 for a 16") but how can you go wrong with pesto and sun dried tomatoes? Well... Farelli's managed to screw it up. To start with the pizza was very dry. I was expecting the pesto as some sort of sauce, this IS pizza right? It was just lightly brushed with pesto and was almost not noticeable. After the first slice the pizza was cold to the extent that it was like we were eating lightly flavored card board. To top it off (literally) the pizza was to be sprinkled with crushed walnuts. The folks at Farelli's must have an extremely different view of what "crushed" means than I do. The half dozen or so chunks were practically whole so that if you weren't paying attention all of the sudden you got half a mouthful of walnut. The service was so-so but the place was pretty dead so I expected a bit better. The beer selection wasn't nearly as good as the one at the Rock and when all I wanted was a good old American Coors Light draft they were OUT! Can you believe it? OUT of Coors Light!?! For 24 bucks a pie I'll take my cash and taste buds to the Rock from now on.
