Drove way out of the way and ended up eating here. Food was really good, plenty of flavor and price was good. Very clean building. If in the area I would eat here again. Menu selection was pretty decent as well.

I had a quick lunch here today... not too bad. I had the sweet & sour chicken. It came with hot sour soup and white rice, with an odd crispy cookie on the plate - see photo. While I always prefer to find reasonably authentic Chinese, the options in a town like Orting, WA are somewhat limiting. So in light of the fact it's not in "China Town", it's a pretty decent American Style Chinese place. Everything tasted fresh - the chicken was well prepared and flavorful. The soup was a bit odd - seemed to have had way too many things floating in it - but it wasn't bad. Service was a tad cool - not very friendly - just polite. Inside is clean, bright and cozy. Pricing for the lunch specials was very reasonable - typically $6.95 for the lunch combo specials. So 3 stars for "A-OK" Dave

Stick with the soup, the hot and sour is the best thing they do there period. The pork egg foo young was one of the worst Chinese dishes I have ever encountered bar none. The Kung pow chicken had veggies that don't belong (should be chicken chilies green onion and peanuts that's it) plus it had and odd flavor. The S&S chicken was drenched in sweet and sour goo sogging it out to a compleat mush could not eat either one. The pork fried rice was eatable but lacked veggies. Friendly people and very clean,so drop in say high use their facilities grab a bowl of spicy soup and call it good

It was a pleasant surprise to find this place especially in Orting where there are very limited places to eat. We have been here several times for both lunch and dinner, tried several different items on the menu and the food has always been really good, the place is very nice inside and the service has been good too.

Good enough for filling you up if you're hungry. Nothing special but its not that bad either. Having said that, $9 for a lunch special that's nothing to write home about seems a but pricey to me. But its filling and could hit the spot.

I agree with Dave's review of the food, but our service experience was a pleasant surprise. Family-owned restaurants usually have the best Asian food, but I've come to lower my expectations when it comes to service in most cases. Emily was our server and she was warm, inviting and professional. I had the Mongolian Beef with white rice, which came with Hot & Sour soup. Both tasted great and were decently priced. If you're ever in the area and in the mood for a fresh take on Chinese cuisine, definitely stop by this place.

Came here with friends and will definitely be returning. We ordered a few appetizers to start, they were so good we got seconds of the BBQ Pork and pot stickers. Incredibly friendly staff and a very clean and open environment. I've never tried Bubble Tea before and was recommended the Honey Dew flavor- delicious! Hope you give it a fair chance and judge it off that, this place deserves it.

The food has deteriorated with the new ownership. The vegetables are large and tough pieces. The chicken tonight tasted old.

We stopped here on the way back from camping. We were on a camping trip with family visiting from California. This place has the best Boba. We have had it back home in Cali but nothing that taste this amazing.

Very enjoyable experience. The food was some of the best we've found in the area. Well worth the drive from Puyallup. We'll be back soon!

Orting...? This was like driving into a time warp. It's obvious that the good people of Orting like keeping their community quaint and undiversified. However, on this occasion I came for a moving sale and the best part of the visit was Emperor City. The Wonton was hot and flavorful. The Mongolian chicken had a nice kick to it and the postickers were large and meaty. It's a simple review, but don't sleep on this place as it was better Chinese than you will find almost anywhere.
