So I touchdown with the Dukes (the parents) and we were famished from the flight from California. Looked at the places to eat in Mukilteo and seen Patty's. Looked like a quaint joint. The ladies inside were nice and the food looks . Dad ordered the 'Joe's Special', probably because his name is Joe. Go figure!? Mom ordered the eggs benedict flourintine. Me I ordered the Dixie Chic. Eggs, hashbrowns, fried chicken, and a biscut with sausage gravy. Dad said his was alright, and he like the wheat toast with what looked like homemade jam. Plus! Mom liked her eggs benedict. She said it was one of the best she had, but it was a bit salty. She is some what an eggs benedict aficionado, so i trust her opinion. My plate was filling and the fried chicken was good, the eggs were nice over easy, and the sausage gravy with busicuit was DE-lectable! We all agreed that the hashbrowns were greasy, but soooo good! Pros: -Dixie chick was bomb, Mom said eggs benedict was good. Hearty...check -Quaint place with good atmosphere -Waitresses were nice -Service was quick -Place was clean Cons -I could see this place booming and the parking lot being a hassle. -This is not a place to go eat if you are try to eat healthy or are not very hungry. Overall: Good spot to eat. Be hungry. Didn't try it but the french toast and the seweet stuff sounded like it could be desert. I like it and I recommend it to anyone who likes to eat!!!!

After reigniting my love for peanut butter, Patty's Elvis French Toast special was just screaming at me to order it. Two THICK pieces of bread, fried with panko powder, injected with peanut butter, topped with whipped cream and bananas and your choice of meat. Picture: media3.px.yelpcdn.com/bp… I usually don't order french toast as my main breakfast entree, but this special was very filling and satisfying. So many different textures, the crispy outside, the soft bread, then the gooey peanut butter...talk about orgasm in your mouth.

I used to work in Everett and heard a lot about Patty's Eggnest, but had never been despite rave reviews from my coworkers. I stopped here on the way to Whidbey Island with high expectations that were sadly missed. The diner itself is cute and small with a small town feel to it, and the menu seems quite impressive with an array of brunch and dinner options. I ordered one of the special omelettes, which proved to be a huge dish with over 50% omelette covering a bed of hashbrowns, topped with two pieces of heavily buttered English muffin. I loved the hashbrowns, likely because they were very simple and lightly seasoned, but the omelette to me seemed more about quantity rather than quality. That in a nutshell is how I'd rate Patty's based on a one-time breakfast experience. Come here for huge portions, but not necessarily for a quality, unique flavor.

This place is normally ok (not great, but "ok") but our last visit was terrible! The orders came out wrong, food was sloppy and wet, soggy. The "re-do" wasn't any better. It was made correctly but still not good. Hashbrowns are similar to a mashed potatos that are crispy on the top/bottom. Just Awful. The Waitress was awesome, wish i knew her name. She made it better as much as she could and comped my order but i left starving, hungry and unsatisfied. This place/chain has won some awards, but i think they stopped trying to be good. Its a mess.

This place used to be really good...i don't know what has happened...but now...i was very disappointed both in the crappy food and the lack of service as in none... mcdonalds has become a five star eatery compared to this dump..... they advertise omlets...but dont have any...coffee refill...forget it...no help in sight...and rude beyond belief if one wanders by...hashbrowns are more like potato chops and bisq. and gravy...like all out of a can...just sad...they will not be gettin any more of my hard earned cash....I.-HOP....here i come....by far more for your money...

Been here three times to the one at Mukilteo. Portion is huge here. Food is good, but coffee is weak in flavor. I had the Hawaiian omelette today and it had ham, pineapple and mozzarella cheese in the frittata style omelette. Hubby had the Reuben sandwich with today's soup turkey noodle. Both were tasty and delicious.

We always pass by here at about 10 or 12 times a year, on our way to and from the ferry. Yesterday because we left earlier then normal we decided to stop for a bite. Pattys was right there so in we pulled. It wasn't the little mom and pop hole in the wall we're normally looking for. The exterior and interior of the building were clean and cute, the wait staff friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was plentiful and flavorful. The heuvos ranchero was a mound of scrambled eggs (4) with peppers, onion, tomato and a chorizo sausage bursting with flavor. Tooped with salsa and cheese this oversized breakfast was on laid on top of 2 flour tortillas and hashbrowns. The wifes chipped beef on toast with 3 eggs and hashbrowns was a tad smaller, but not by much. We were both stuffed! And that was without eating everything, which makes for a long sleepy drive back to Portland. I really only have a couple of gripes. 1) The portions are really HUGE, and perhaps they already have 1/2 or 3/4 size portions available (we didn't know to ask), but they should. Also in spite of the plates being warm, and the rest of the food being smokin hot, the hashbrowns were only warm at best probably due to plating long before the rest of the meal. Overall the experience was a tastebud pleasing bonanza and we won't hesitate to stop here again.

The whole family loves this place. Great menu choice and the portion sizes are huge. Consider splitting an entrée to safe your waist line. The staff are friendly but a bit over worked. I would probably give if 5 stars if it was not for the parking.

Finally got around to writing a review of Patty's Eggnest in Mukilteo. To start, parking is horrible, now on to the good stuff. The egg dishes are good, however, they are not WOW. At their prices I would expect their food to have a little more pizzaz. I had some Spanish/Mexican type egg dish, it was good, but it really didn't impress me. The eggs were a bit over cooked and their wasn't much of the salsa they mentioned on the menu. Need a bit more cheese as well. Don't get me wrong, I will continue to eat there and try all their other dishes before I give them my final verdict.

I have come here a few times but today was by far the worst. We sat down and waited patiently for someone to come and bring us waters, ask if we had questions whatever. Not a single person stopped by our table. Then they set up a large party right next to ours and was brought waters before they even sat. I was there with my young children who were hungry. Every time I have been there the service is slow and lazy. They don't seem to care. Overpriced. And I wait tables for a living! I know what service standards should be. I will be contacting a manager soon.

I have had some good meals here and some ok meals, no great meals. I agree with other reviewers that price doesn't live up to the food but you won't go wrong here if you want some decent breakfast or what not.

Portions are huge and the food is standard, reliable American fare. Nothing special but it's definitely good down-homey breakfast fare. They get one star because my dining companion's half-and-half containers came out of the kitchen warm, and it curdled into a solid, slimy lump as soon as it hit the coffee. We flagged down the waitress who fetched some new coffee and a new batch of creamers. And the same thing happened again. I can understand a one-off experience, but twice in a row? What really seals this as a one-star review is the bullshit story we got trying to pass this off on their wholesaler -- hello, if it comes out of your own kitchen warm, there's no blaming the wholesaler for that. By the way, this was told to us by the kitchen lady, as the manager was apparently too busy to trouble himself to walk over and attend to the matter himself. And for our trouble? They were generous enough to... take the coffee off of our thirty-dollar breakfast order. This dumpy dive doesn't deserve your money or your patronage. Avoid it at all costs.

Made it here for a second time. This time we caught ole Patty's when it was actually dead (It was Memorial Day, and everyone was zooming by to hit the ferry and get off mainland). This served us well. I went for Shultz's Mess (love the name). Man. This trough of yummy breakfast food filled my belly and had me full for a good 2-3 days. I'm starting to get full again just thinking about it.

I have been here a few times and each time we had great service and good food. The restaurant is very clean and the waitress came right away each time we have came in. I usually have eggs, sausage and hash browns. The strawberry freezer jam is really good as well and love the thick whole wheat toast. No complaints here.

total dive-y place, good when you're in the mood for greasy spoon food. I think their chicken fried steak is really, really good.

I went to this place the morning after i arrive to Mukilteo (live in Indonesia, used to live in Seattle, here now to visit family that live in Mukilteo) for breakfast. I always come here every time i go back to Seattle cause i love their breakfast specially their steak and eggs. This time, I tried something new, egg Benedict Florentine... Well i have to said it was just ok... the hash brown always good of course but the sauce was just overwhelming.. it was too rich... cover up all the real taste of egg Benedict... my husband ate their coned beef hash which was great... they also have great coffee that they refill often and they service also pretty good... so of course i still love this place and want to come back again but definitely will not be ordering egg Benedict again.

My usual weekend routine? Drink Saturday night, spend Sunday morning at Patty's with a heaping pile of french toast, eggs, bacon and the best orange juice around. Seriously people, if breakfast is your thing, get down here for a treat!! If you are like most of my friends, and by that I mean rarely see a Sunday morning because you are so hungover you don't posses the will to live anymore, you are missing a great spot to help nurse that hangover. Piece of advice though, come really early, or after noon. It's way less busy because the church crowd has cleared out. P.S. If you don't drink OJ, or are really picky about it, you simply must have some here. It's fresh squeezed every morning, and once you taste it, you will never want to drink anything else.

For a place that boasts home cooking, Patty's fell short on many accounts. My first visit to this location was for a quick business lunch with our Marketing Manager. She ordered an egg salad sandwich and it was inedible. It literally tasted as if someone accidentally spilled a salt shaker into the egg salad mix. The restaurant did remove it off our bill. I wanted to give these guys another chance and a few months later ordered an open faced Turkey sandwich to go. The turkey was dry, even though it was smothered in gravy. Gravy lacked flavor and was very greasy. Everything was so greasy I could only stomach a few bites. For $13 I could have two lunch specials at Weller's Cafe, where they have real home made breakfast and lunch.

Very good food. The burgers were good as well as the gyro and the fish and chips. Haven't had a bad experience here yet. My only complaint is the prices are a bit high for the food.

We used to live down the street and would walk down to Patty's every weekend. This place is fabulous and their really isn't a bad item on the menu. I'm a breakfast fan! I usually don't like sweet items for breakfast but I was curious about the Elvis French toast. I tried it and of course it was delicious but usually when I go I always go for omelets or scrambles. Eggs Benedict Florentine, Shultz's Mess, and the Mediterranean omelet. Plus they make their own bread, and freezer jams, and fresh squeezed OJ. Love it!

This is an awesome place for breakfast and lunch. My husband and I eat here 2-3 times a month. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We have ran into the owners a few times and they are the greatest people we have ever met. They always make sure we know about the newest items on the menu and they really want to make sure we enjoy our meal. This week for Veterans Day, the owner is creating his version of chipped beef or in military terms, "SOS." My husband has eaten this a few times before and gives it a perfect score. I really enjoy his Belgium Waffles and his famous burgers. This is a place I recommend to all my friends and family. Also, any bad reviews you have read have been mistaken for another Patty's. You really would have to come to see for yourself as this restaurant comes highly recommended.

We went to the north end to run some errands and decided to stop at Patty's Eggnest. This was my first time. We arrived slightly before noon, only had to wait a few minutes for a table for 2. My husband ordered (and I tasted) the Elvis French Toast. Wow - this dish is pretty amazing - very thick egg bread, coated in panko bread crumbs, with peanut butter filling and devonshire (according to the menu) cream on top. It is delicious, but very sweet. I ordered the Bell-Town scramble, it had a variety of breakfast meats, cheddar cheese, mushrooms and onions. It was delicious! (served with hashbrowns and toast. both were great) Service was good, they kept our drinks refilled, which I liked. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are up north. And Patty's Eggnest? How about a location on the Eastside like Bellevue or Issaquah? If you were closer, we'd probably go a few times a month!

I'm not usually a fan of American breakfasts, but I had a craving for one that day. A couple of friends and I decided to meet at Patty's Eggnest in Mukilteo. At first I almost got lost because I called the wrong Patty's Eggnest (Lynnwood) for directions, but luckily I called Mommy Suana just in case and she sent me in the right direction. When we first arrived, I felt like it was really awkward because the shape of the entrance and parking lot were a little odd, but I thought about it and decided that it was ok, as long as there was free parking! :) We got inside, and I couldn't help but notice all of the cute little decorations; the place was filled with the most unique bird houses. My favorite was the red one. The place is cozy and the people are really friendly. We were immediately greeted and seated, then offered beverages. We were recommended to try to orange juice which was deliciously fresh-squeezed. I was really happy to learn that a small sized juice would come out like a large sized cup! :) I hate places with miniature cups. The menu was amazing, I had the hardest time choosing because there were so many amazing sounding things but I was assured that anything I chose would be good, so I chose the Hunter's Breakfast. While we were waiting for our food, the owners stopped by to offer us a sample of a possible new recipe. It was amazing! i can't wait for that to come out... mmmMmmm Apples. :) Then the food came out, and I was told that I was having a man sized breakfast. HAHA I didn't want to look like a man, but I couldn't help but eat the whole breakfast! It was SO good! All of it, from the sausage, to the amazing REAL ham slice, to the perfectly cooked hash browns. Soft and crispy at the same time without being too soggy or dry. YUM! My boyfriend had the gigantic Bigfoot's country fried steak, and my friend had the corned beef. Gosh everything was YUMMY! I can't wait to go back to try the peanut butter and banana stuffed french toast! mmMMmm~~

This place has the best breakfast! The 5 of us came here in the morning to eat breakfast and I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine. It also came with hashbrowns. The breakfast is so hearty and filling that I couldn't finish the other half of my breakfast. However, their coffee is just OK. I've had better tasting coffee, but I can't complain since the cup of joe has free refills! If I ever come back, I want to come back and eat their country fried chicken steak breakfast. Bf had that and I took a bite and nearly forgot I had my own breakfast to eat.

I been here a few times and have enjoyed my breakfast each time. They have large portions and the service has always been great. Ask to get the hashbrowns extra crispy, unless you like them soggy. Bacon is terrific.

Patty's Eggnest has the best food -- there isn't anything on the menu that isn't fabulous. Carpool if you are going in a group because the parking is terrible.

Large portions and decent food. Service could use help as well as the seating layout. Warning: if you have special requests or food allergies they don't seem to care much so double check your order before you dig in. We used to really enjoy this restaurant however they continue to make the same mistakes with a not a care attitude. Our visits have become much less frequent. This restaurant has a ton of potential and could be one of the best around. Only if they would conduct proper staff training and put the customers needs first....

I have only been here for breakfast. All the breakfast items I've had are pretty good and they have rotating seasonal items that are generally fantastic. They are very busy on weekends so the place gets a bit loud unfortunately.

I have a tradition in my family from when i was a kid. The first day of school my dad used to take me to a little whole in the wall in Wenatchee for biscuits and gravy. This was the only thing solid I remember of my childhood that was consistent. Well I have carried on that tradition with my son......and there is no better place in the Seattle area than Pattys Eggnest. The biscuits and gravy is the best I have ever had. But even a better pick is the Bigfoot country fried chicken. This is how i am going to die......a mouth full of country fried chicken and drowning in the best orange juice in the world. I have not once had a bad experience at either location in Everett or lynnwood. IF you are going to go be prepared to wait, especially on weekends. I will gladly keep on my tradition every first day of school with all 3 of my kids here. Thank you patty's Eggnest for letting me weep in joy over your freezer jam and thick cut toast!

My first visit at "A Patty's Eggnest". Charming building complimented by friendly, helpful server. The food was girnormous. Had the special stuffed french toast. Enough for two people to enjoy. Plenty of coffee offered. Looking forward to my next visit.

I love, love breakfast food. Maybe because I rarely eat breakfast? But when I do, I do the traditional, hash browns, bacon, scrambled eggs and sausage, wheat toast...and whatever else would fit on my plate! My friend took us here after a night of going out. So we were a bit tired still but the food still tasted good. Portions are huge. Very busy during breakfast and it's the only time I've been here. Price is good for what you're getting and I recommend you share if you didn't bring your appetite. Pancakes are HUGE and yummy and I don't really like pancakes! Customer service isn't that great. I know they're busy, but how many times do I need to ask for a refill??

The quality of the food is great and the workers are extremely friendly and quick. I order from the breakfast menu mostly but the things I have seen pass by for lunch look great too. Their limited time pandora french toast is amazing and if they dont have it available when you go, tell em they should have that on the menu permanently. Great small breakfast restaurant and definitely a good lunch for the Boeing crowd too.

The entire experience was disappointing and ended up being very aggravating as my card was overcharged even though I clearly printed the total. It was a $23 bill and I left $4 cash on the table. My card was charged for $29 so they ended up with a $10 tip. When I called, the owner did respond in a timely manner (as their manager wouldn't be in for a few days) and said that I could have the overcharged amount back either by card or in cash. I drove there to get the cash back as I will never trust them with a card again. The owner told me that the girl who ran the transaction didn't know how to use the pin pad because the numbers were rubbed off. Why don't they get a new pin pad then or use a label maker?? Or try training their people before having them handle money?? She did not offer to compensate me for the hassle and acted as though this happens all the time. The actual dining experience was none too hot. Our server was cold and never smiled and someone else refilled our coffees, usually without asking if we wanted more so it would throw off the cream and sugar ratio. The half and half was very questionable as it was not cold and was already at the table even though it should be kept refrigerated. If we hadn't ordered coffee that half and half would have remained there for the next people and I'm sure the next people wouldn't have been brought a fresh batch anyway. I wish I had read the one star review before going there as I would not have even tried it. The atmosphere was comfortable with the exception of our server. The actual food was average and the portions large. (It would be nice to go to a place for a change that has above average food without oversizing the portions) The country sausage patty's flavor and texture indicated that a filler was used. I love bacon usually but was not pleased with it here as it is too dense. I like lighter, crispier bacon, but if you like thick bacon that requires a bit of gnawing, and a large portion of it, then this is the place for you. I recommend paying with cash to avoid the potential headache of being overcharged.

Patty's Eggnest has everything from traditional omellets to the North beach omellet. My personal favorite, it has marinated artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, and much more! My boyfriends favorite is the deep fried peanut butter french toast. When we first started dating, we went to the Patty's Eggnest in Greenwood every sunday. He moved to Lynnwood, and I moved in with him. We were happy to find a Patty's Eggnest in our hood so that we could keep up our cutesy tradition. The food is excellent, the helpings large (I only eat half the plate, and I'm an eater...), the service is mediocre but I let it slide since they're always busy. We've never had to wait for a table. We've tried other places, but they just don't add up for an excellent breakfast. We love Patty's Eggnest!!

Not family or wallet friendly. Do not take kids, high chairs are flimsy plastic with no adjustable buckle. Service is slow and prices are high. Food is good but just not worth it. If you go without kids, consider splitting a meal. Large portions.

I love this place and their menu full of good stuff is endless! You won't find the typical greasy diner breakfast foods here but the portions are huge (plenty to share and take home) and hearty! The bacon is crisp, eggs are done right, the fresh squeezed oj is heavenly, their jams aren't overly sweet, I can go on and on! I love their eggs benedict or the variety of egg scrambles! My brothers usually go for the country fried steak and eggs (it's good too)...there is so much offerings to choose from! This place is clean, and the staff/service is very pleasant. There's a homey and cozy feel to this place. Patty's can be easy to miss if you don't know your way around here but I'm thrilled it's in my neck of the woods. Great cure for a hangover or a very fulfilling breakfast! You won't be disappointed!!

My husband and I were Patty's early adapters, actually enjoying watching Patty and hubby Theo work their magic at their Mill Creek location. But sadly, Patty's is not what it used to be...it's just too much tasteless food piled on the plate. Yeah it's quick service, but if I'm gonna Allocate this many calories to a meal, it needs to be good, and Patty's is no longer good.

  • Dwayne S.

I seem to always end up here hung over on Sunday mornings. I'm not picky like most folks so instead of waiting for one of their always taken tables, I sit at the bar. I always get the scrambles/omelettes. The service is always pretty good and so is the food.

Before going this morning I read many mixed reviews and figured I'd try it out anyway with low expectations. So we pulled into the parking lot and was immediately thankful that I didn't drive a big truck. Be forewarned... the parking lot is pretty small. Walking inside it felt like a small Mom & Pop operation. Unlike some of the reviews I read, we were quickly greeted and shown to our table. The one thing I didn't like was the sitting arrangements. I got a table for two and most of their double tables were right on top of one another. You really had to watch your topic of discussion because you were sitting about a foot and a half from a stranger. The waitress brought us water and took our drink order in a matter of minutes. I read earlier the coffee was weak. True statement. Add some grounds people; the creamer was stronger. We ordered the Mama's Special (2 huge pancakes covered in whipped cream and all of the berries) and the Big Foot (Chicken Fried Steak). The pancakes were incredible! All of the berries were fresh and wonderful. The CF Steak was your standard variety. Nothing special, but it was good. I liked their hash browns. Overall it was a good breakfast and very filling. I'd recommend it over Ihop and Denny's. Oh yeah... no kids like Ihop. Winning!

  • Jen B.

We stopped in early Sunday; the place was less than half full. They seated us in the first table right next to the door and the "wait to be seated sign" so when anyone came in we got a blast of cold air and had a group of strangers hovering around us. Strike one. When we finally got a waitress it was not the mature experienced type that you expect at a diner it was the teenage anorexic type you expect at a coffee hut. We ordered a fruity waffle, an extra biscuit, huevos rancheros, coffee and OJ. The total was $33, yikes. We had to ask for the check and waited for them to come and get the money after about 5 min I went up to the counter and waited about another 5 min. Strike two. The portions were very large and the food was better than your average Dennys so they didn't strike out completely but the service left a lot to be desired. If breakfast for two is going to be more than $20 the service should be extraordinary.

Tried this place on a Sunday big mistake no parking at the resturant had to park away and walk. When I got in the door and in line waiting you have people passing the line and being seated this place sucks //left and went to get real service

I went there on Sunday brunch and this place were packed. A lot of items on menu, and it came out fast. One thing that bothers me was the wait staff kinda force me to order and pay fast. I understand that it was busy sunday morning and ppl were waiting, but the whole time, I felt uncomfortable. The food was great tho.

Okay so it was Saturday morning and my friend and I decided to check out this place because of what some people were saying about it. We waited in a line when we first got there. A mother holding her little boy was in front of me - staring - but the staring contest didn't last long we were all seated pretty fast. Well, I thought for a moment my reputation came ahead of me because we were seated in the corner. We both decided to order an omelet - 8.95 & 9.95. I thought it was pricey but hey with the reviews well it seemed like it would be okay. We waited for about 20 minutes before our food arrived. By the time it arrived I had drank 3 cups of coffee and I had to excuse myself to go use the ladies room. Came back and started to eat my breakfast. Can you say bland - well let me say it for you bland - bland and bland again. My favorite thing on the plate was the sourdough toast I got. They had jam in a jar which came with a spoon in it. I think that isn't very healthy is it? I mean I didn't lick the spoon but who is to say the person before me didn't. Anyway, back to bland and yuck on the hash browns which were cooked to a crisp on one side and not on the other. They may rave this is Seattle's best breakfast but it certainly wasn't Mukilteo's. The blandness of my sausage and cheese omelet made sense as to why I saw people 70 on up eating there - not that the over 70 crowd makes a restaurant bad but they do tend to go for the bland food. I was very disappointed. I definitely had left overs but later in the day I told my friend - "You know how you bring home leftovers and later on you are thinking about them?" He said "Yeah" I told him "Well I'm thinking I wish I hadn't brought them home." He said "I know what you mean." I won't be returning and I won't be trying any of the other Patty's Eggnests. I gave this a 2 star only because the waitress was nice.

I have been here twice now but it seems that things are getting worse not better. I do like there food. I will say that I think that if you order bacon and eggs you will not be dissapointed. For eggs to come out right, is hard for anyone and they have not come out wronge. we have a family of five with two high chairs so the cramped quarters are that much more difficult, the servers seemed over worked and under apreaciated with makes service suffer. Still if you want breakfast on a saturday morning they are still the best place we have found in town.

We were visiting from out of state and staying in Mukilteo. A person at the hotel recommended Patty's Eggnest for breakfast and we were very pleased. The service was great! Our server was a young lady who was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and if you like orange juice it is fresh and wonderful. The restaurant was clean and homey. Next time we are Mukilteo we will stopping at Patty's for another great breakfast.

This breakfast place has a huge menu but I have found that they don't cook anything really well. The food is basic and simple. Go here for breakfast at breakfast time. Large portions but lunch they don't do well and I think that a different chef comes in at lunch hours and can't cook breakfast foods. My daughter's scrambled eggs were rubbery and over-cooked. My greek gyro sandwich was a mound of feta and sour cream with a few pieces of tomato and cucumber over a pita. Um, feta cheese and sour cream? It was odd. Go here early and get an omlet. Stay away after 10a.m and don't order lunch. Not even open for dinner though.

i have been to this location about 10 times. at first i was very happy with the food and service was good, but as i continued to go there i was more and more not anticipating the crappy service. the manic depressed teenage hostess/server just kills it for me sometimes. she doesnt smile, she has piss poor customer service and doesnt even offer to read off the specials. I havent been to this location in about 4months so not sure if she is still there. The other wait staff are just average at best. When it comes to customer service it can make or break a restaurant experience for me. The food is average and semi overpriced, but on occasion they have a wicked good special of the day thats pretty creative.

I love this place. The pricing is on par with other breakfast places. I love their biscuits and gravy (this is the only place I will get biscuits and gravy). Their French toasts are also really great. This is a nice breakfast/brunch spot.

I get it, Mukilteo. You guys love paying too much for breakfast food. To be honest, there is more bad than there is good about Patty's, despite being deeply-entrenched in the local community as a staple of the weekend breakfast scene. The parking lot leaves no driver without frustration, the wait times are frustrating, the seating is awkward, and the food (though well-portioned) is never, ever wow-ing. You'll go here anyways. That's part of the Mukilteo curse. Even though you know deep down that Patty's is not worth the cost, and that the food is just 'aight, someone you're with will suggest going, everyone else will think about it realizing there's nothing really better to do, and *boom.* 10 minutes later you'll be navigating that crappy little parking lot on Sunday morning.

The quality of the food was poor. Steak and eggs very average and I had the poached eggs what we're over cooked and the steak overdone and fatty.

This is about as average as a breakfast joint gets, and that's OK. Its a sturdy and relaible ham and egger, with large portions and equally large prices. The service here is always very good and very friendly. Imust say, the name is horrible. Egg nest? yuk. I pictue feathers and lice.

I must have driven by this place a few dozen times going to the ferry or coming off of the before finally trying it out. My kids had the pancake kids meal, my wife had chicken fried chicken with sausage and gravy over biscuits. I am a sucker for Huevos Rancheros, so I ordered Patty's version of the southwestern classic. The service through out the meal was great. Never once did my glass of water go empty. The portion sizes were generous. My Huevos Rancheros? Meh. They have an interesting take on it, but it was more of what I would consider an egg scrambler with some tortillas on the side. My wife loved the chicken, which was clearly coated and fried in house. The gravy was lack luster for her, but the portion was so large that she barely finished half her plate. The kids ate all that was on their plate, so it had to have been good! I'd like to try something else next time I go there, an easy 4 stars.

Absolutely LOVE this place. Being from the Bay Area, CA...we have plenty of breakfast spots...But this place surpasses ALL. Serious. Generous portions. From scratch recipes. All good. The owner even greeted us and treated us to their new pancake recipe! So so awesome.

Great service and yummy food! Ate the 12th man special and it was delicious! The specialities are a little pricier compared to normal breakfast fare foods but still delicious!

Used to love this place but it has been run down. Place is dirty under staffed and employees have no idea what they are doing. Sad , used to be the place to go, most of our friends also stopped going.

It took about 10 minutes for a waitress to see us waiting, and another 10 minutes to get seated. I ordered breakfast, but it seemed like the food was either over-cooked or bland. My toast was a bit too brown on one side, the eggs had no flavor, and the potatoes had too much salt. I have eaten at better places.

I love patty's California benedict. So delicious! Also, I wish I would've caught our servers name. She was one of the best waitresses we've had in a long time. I keep going back to any of the locations for the benny. Definitely worth it. Wish all had the same level of service!

Surprised for a breakfast place they don't serve any other coffee but brewed. Food was so so. One of the waitresses was kinda rude, not pleasant at all if you wanna have a good start of your day. They claim as Seattle's best breakfast. Big words there. Doesn't deserve a next visit.

  • Kevin J.

Food was alright, got the huevos rancheros, and had to drown it in tobacco to compensate the lack of flavor... The owner was there and noticed we were having a baby shower, so he gave us free Swedish pancakes with berries that were fairly good, my coffee was full and so was I.

  • David G.

The food is worse than a roadside Denny's in the middle of nowhere at 3am. It's bland and prepared incorrectly. My omelette was nothing more than a thick lump of tasteless eggs. I ordered an omelet with coffee & eggs Benedict with a hot chocolate. My bill was $35. I didn't think much of it at the time but I realize now after adding up the prices I got screwed. Maybe they gave me the wrong check? I'll never find out. And if you're smart, you won't either.

These guys went above and beyond to give me a super yummy breakfast even though I have a crazy list of allergies. The staff was super friendly and the food came out right, I did not have to send my bacon back to be crispied up like I do I most places. The only thing I'd change is their coffee, it's only like a c+/B- on my coffee scale but I am a coffee snob. Haha and they actually know how to cook eggs! If you are in the area is say pop in!

I've been here a total of 10 minutes and so far I've been ignored twice by the waitress while my husband has had his order taken.....we're sitting at the same table! The "fresh squeezed" orange juice had a bug floating in it. When I told the waitress she asked if I still wanted it, when I said no she took it and walked away. She didn't ask if she could replace it or bring anything else, just walked off. She only has 3 tables with customers so I don't think she's so busy that she forgot me. So far, terrible service! We come here now and then but, I'm thinking we'll find somewhere else from now on.

I really enjoy this place for breakfast. I come here at times when the bf (who lives in Mukilteo) & I struggle to get up and make food. Usually we come here past 12pm (sometimes past 1pm) and each time we've arrived the wait wasn't horrible. One of the first times we went, the small parking lot was full. Whom I believed was the owner saw we were circling and kindly told us about additional parking by the coffee stand (gravel parking). So that information is helpful for those looking for parking. I've actually had good service here. Nothing extraordinary but not bad at all. Can't recall the past things I've ordered but my recent order was the Patty's Eggbest Special Toast (I believe that's the name). It was basically a French toast with peanut butter, fried in panko bread, with some cream. I thought it was delicious (I love sweets), but the bf thought it was too sweet. His order (hunters?) looked good. Anyways, 4 stars mean I am a fan...clearly I am since I go back once in awhile

Might be the best breakfast from a Restaurant that i've ever had. Look.. Hand breaded chicken (dark meat) piled inside a Frittata style omelet topped with Gravy... #CmonSon And it came with biscuits (which were ok, Hardees has better biscuits). But the Jelly preserves on the side make up for it. Service was friendly and prompt. Pricing is very very affordable. The Hash browns were perfect. Just crisp enough and soft on the inside. Thick too. Not those thin burnt kind from Waffle House. The bacon is thick too. Only disappointing thing was that this locations menu is different from another location i went to. I just had to go to Pattys Egg Nest one more time before i flew home to Atlanta. When i got to that local, their menu was just boring compared to the Mukilteo location. I will go out of my way to eat here again...

Brought friends from Chelalis, San Fran and LA. Everyone loved it. Several said they eat more than usual--it was that good. Thank you Ron. Fresh squeezed OJ, freezer jams and everyone raving about their choice. Awesome breakfast spot!

We love going to breakfast here! The portions are HUGE and there are a ton of options to chose from. I really like the Elvis French toast, even though I can never finish it. Its deep fried French toast with peanut butter. The food is consistently good. The customer service here is always a toss up. The place is slammed on the weekends, so we always chop it up to just being busy. There have been times where we're waiting a long time to order or get our food. The waitresses are usually friendly though.

What a fantastic experience. We met the owner, a friendly and congenial man, and had some seriously good food. The hand breaded hand formed chicken fried steak was awesome, and the Irish Benedict...with strips of fresh corned beef..was out of this world. I love the thick bread used for the toast, and the hash browns were perfectly cooked.

Breakfast was terrible tasting and the restaurant smelled like a dirty old age home. The best part of the meal was receiving the check so I can get out of the restaurant and get some fresh air. However, the waitress that served me was very nice.

Server was a little curt with us from the start. Food was excellent. Coffee was great. Freezer jam on the table was stellar. 3-star is for bad attitude, otherwise a I would give 4.

Food was okay, standard breakfast type cafe. Double portion plates, suggest single ordering with extra plate. Ambiance needs to be improved. Barely enough room to walk, tables too close together, very loud, no booths or private tables, rushed service, limited condiments on table, limited parking, limited wait to be seated area. Would opt for iHop if possible.

**3.5 stars** Stopped in at Patty's for breakfast - I wanted something other than the traditional hotel boilerplate breakfast one gets in your hotel. Found Patty's and it seemed to fit the bill. Was promptly seated and looked over the menu. I decided to go with one of the specials: The Snoqualmie Falls Breakfast: pan fried trout with hash browns, a slice of thick bacon, one sausage link, three eggs, and toast. It sounded better than it was - perhaps my expectations were to high. There was nothing wrong with the food, it was just rather plain. The trout was cooked perfectly, but it needed some seasoning, it was plain, bland. The eggs, hash brown, sausage, were your standard diner fare - good, solid cooking. The bacon was thicker than what I am used to seeing at most breakfast places - and that is a good thing. It was also quite a bit more food than I could eat, I could not finish it all. Service was good - I'd come back here to eat again and try something else next time.

Love this place for breakfast, though it is pricey. But you get a ton of food. The food was pretty good overall, nothing too spectacular but they do have a good variety. The service was nothing special, either, but neither was it something to complain about. Parking is probably the worst part of it all; it's a very small place (and doesn't look like much when you're walking in) but it's a staple breakfast joint for our family!

Some pro's, some cons. These guys are quick though! I was in a hurry, and I got my food in no time at all. Plus, the waiter that was heading out, right when I came in, made sure that I was ok before she left. I ordered eggs, hash browns and gyro (lamb) meat, along with a bit of fruit (and water), not too big of a brunch-esque meal. The lamb was quite good (albeit, there could have been a bit more), but the eggs were a bit bland. I'm not sure why so many places never season their eggs... At least with a bit of chives, chervil, parsley, and/or dill, something along those lines... I can tell that this is a place where you have good AND bad waiters. I think half the battle here with these folks may be improving customer service a tad, but the waiters may be a bit overworked... The other half of the battle is making the hearty "meat and potatoes/eggs" "fuel food" a bit more seasoned and less "generic" or "cheap" tasting...

This place is a dive but has a decent selection of breakfast and brunch items. Personally, I like the location on Evergreen more than this one...I felt that the service and atmosphere was better and less depressing (respectively). My favorite items? Corned beef hash (canned) and eggs (I substitute fruit for eggs), which comes with your choice of toast and potatoes. Also the pancakes with Devonshire cream (I had this at the Evergreen location) and bacon. A word of advice: If you substitute berries for anything (even something that costs more), you will be charged extra. It's a stupid rule if you ask me. I hate that restaurants load you up on cantaloupe and honey dew (yuck) instead of giving you a variety of fruit. Portions are pretty huge here, but I still don't think that the prices are commensurate with what you get. I mean, it's okay food, but most of the dishes are in the mid $10s, and I'm not sure they are worth that. I will say that the menu seems to change up in terms of specials rather frequently, so there is sure to be something interesting on the menu when you visit. I read some of the previous reviews for this location, and I have to agree about the service. It was slow getting someone to take our order, and we eventually just went up to the counter to pay our bill. Our waitress was friendly, and the bus staff was on top of keeping us happy, but the place wasn't busy, so that's a little inexcusable. Good brunch eats but will probably eat elsewhere during the work lunch hour since the service was slow.

Not really sure what happened to this place. It used to always be amazing. Stopped in for Father's Day brunch. Hubby got corned beef and I got chicken fried steak. I opted for the lunch version so that I got fries instead of hash browns. Seems like the recipe changed. Even my husband, who is not picky, said it tasted blah. The French fries were soggy and had a hair!!! I pointed it out and they didn't charge me. My hubby loved his meal though. Not sure if I'll go back to this location... Maybe stick to omlets.

Stopped out here August 2013. The waitress was courteous and polite. She welcomed us and entertained us. The food was large and delicious. The place had the usual people that eat there. It felt comfortable and relaxing while we enjoyed our morning breakfast.

For breakfast, this place easily gets five stars. My family literally begs me every weekend to go here. The portions are incredible and the food is always great. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would recommend most anything from the breakfast menu, although the traditional eggs benedict will not disappoint.

So I needed food before work and decided to try this Patty's out. got there at 7 and ordered a mushroom omelet and some coffee. The waitress was too busy chatting with others and forgot to fill my coffee up, this happened twice. the omelet came back as a scramble and overcooked on the outside while undercooked inside. I think the chef figured that an omelet is just a scramble that sits for a bit longer in the pan so that everything eventually holds together. needless to say I don't like uncooked eggs, or burnt eggs. so I chose not to eat more than a few tester bites (plate still full). I waited for the waitress to ask me how it was ... she never asked ... I was seated at the bar 3 feet from her. I got up and followed her to the register where she was checking out another couple. she asked if I was done and if I needed a box. I told her no box please. she then charged me full price and sent me on my way. I will never go back to this patty's again. worst service I have had in many years.

If you want a hearty breakfast, these guys deliver ever time. Portions are big enough for two, you can ask for a small size. Quality ingredients, fast friendly service. We are actually headed there now!

Slow service. Not amazing food. We stopped going here finally just because we didn't feel that it was quality service. Seems like the owners care more about opening and closing numerous locations than they do the quality of the food and service.

After reading many of the reviews, it seems like our experience isn't very different than others. We went for breakfast this morning (8/3/13). We were seated pretty quickly. Things seemed to be going fine. We were brought water and it went downhill from there. It took a long time to order a drink other than water. We both had OJ, which was REALLY good. When we ordered our drinks, I ordered a small OJ. I ended up with a large. When we ordered my husband had Pork Chops and eggs. They looked really good. I didn't eat them, so I can't really give a review, but he said they were okay. He didn't care for the hashbrowns. I had the biscuits and gravy, with two eggs, hasbrowns and bacon. The food was really good. The service wasn't very good though. Our waitress didn't check on us, seemed to forget items that came with our plates (Bacon, toast) and wasn't friendly at all. The table next to us waited 25 minutes before they received their coffee. When we were leaving, I had to ask the staff to get them coffee. I don't think we'll go back, which is unfortunate - I really liked the food!

The place can come back off the service hall of shame. Same great bussers that have worked there for years. The wait staff is doing their job again. The food is good as always. Belltown scramble and bigfoot chicken fried steak were both terrific. Glad they decided to quit sucking again.
