I live right up the street and never tried this place until last night--I'm glad we finally did! We ordered a 13" thin crust pie (bbq sauce, chicken, onions, ham,and pineapple-I made it complicated too with half one way, half the other), it took a pretty long time to come out, which is fine because it means it's cooked fresh to order, but when it finally came out-it was not what we ordered. I was starving by this point so I was pretty upset. The server, chef, and owner all came by to apologize and immediately make us a new correct pizza. Plus the owner brought us some free cheese garlic bread (which was delicious) to hold us over until the pizza came out. Our second pizza came out much faster than the first, and it was delicious too! Well worth the wait. Even though our order was incorrect, I give five stars because of the way the problem was handled. You truly don't see great customer service like this every day, and I didn't want it to go un-noticed. So thank you! We'll be back and bring some more friends soon! By the way, I'm from NY so I know what good pizza tastes like. :)
Huge Beers for cheap, not very good pizza. I am a big pizza lover myself, and I really just have a thing against their sauce that they use. It has kind of a sweet taste to it. These pizzas are humongous though. About 24" in diameter. Yes very large. I ordereda salad and I did actually really enjoy it. It's a great place to watch a home team game at. Plazma TV's posted against the walls. You really are sure to have a good time here with a group of friends!
This place is what made me realize that pizza is and can be something more. It's changed ownership a couple of times now, which is worrisome. I went when Kevin was the owner. That pizza shattered the illusion that the mega chains had cast upon me. This is serious pie my friends. I think it'd still be good, but to be honest, I started making my own pizza from scratch, and I like mine better. But these guys are the ones who got me thinking, and for that, they shall always have a place in my heart. The crust is amazing. I'd recommend that you buy by the slice. The slices are better because they make one huge cheese pizza, it cools, then you order your slice, and they top it, and throw it in the oven at around 550 F for a couple minutes. It makes it better than if you get a whole pizza. Not sure why, but it's true. Huge HUGE portions of everything. I haven't been there for a while, but from what i hear... the beer prices are up? and that's a damn shame. I used to get two 32 ounce Mac and Jacks and a slice (more like half a pizza) for under 15.00 total. I swore that was the best pizza I ever had until i started my own project. I think you should go and try for yourself. I'll go again if I happen by Mountlake Terrace any time in the near future.
