Skip IHOP and Denny's and venture here for breakfast. I will say that the name of this establishment had me worried, as if they were trying to be trendy by using "nomz", but do not let that deter you. +1 For the quick and attentive service +1 For the laughs we had with the waitress +1 For the food and portion size +1 For the fact my pancakes smelled like CAKE +1 For the various movie posters up on the wall Appetizer: Not applicable Main Entree: Pancake Meal with a side of hash-browns (me), Breakfast Burger with fries and awesome sauce (bro #1), and the Massive Meal #2 (bro #2) Beverages: Iced tea, orange juice, and Sprite Their pancakes are other-worldly. They are easily sweet enough where you have the option of eating them solely as-is. I, of course, drown my pancakes in butter and syrup; the right way to eat them. The edges have a crispier edge providing a different texture to just the usual fluffy variety. Here, you get everything: the fluff, the slight crunch, the sweetness. Combine that with some hash-browns and eggs and it is a unity like no other. I think a lot of healthy-minded people come here for a breakfast and then are appalled when their food is greasy. This is not a hipster, whole-food organic spot. No, this is the kind of food you eat when trying to nurse a hangover and your mum or dad is trying to make you feel better. Or when having a lovely brunch with the family, like me. Nomz definitely has the diner vibe, only diner gals can call me sweetheart without getting a dark look from me. I have tried multitudes of restaurants in the area and Nomz Diner ranks the top for Marysville, especially for a family-owned and operated restaurant.

Unfortunately my friend and I had a pretty bad experience. We were seated after a ten minute wait. No problem. We watched while other people waiting were seated, we were served coffee and tea. The server had to be asked to bring cream. That is forgiveble. After a bit I noticed my tea was not steeping. I tested the water and it was just barely lukewarm. Usually a good diner knows how to make tea. I was beginning to get a bad feeling about this. Then we noticed the people seated after us were getting their orders taken, I managed to get a waitress, she said we had to wait till it was our turn. I pointed out we were seated well before the other two tables, she was very snotty when she said her manager said they were first. Then told us it would be a VERY long wait before the kitchen prepared our food. We took the hint and left. I am really puzzled about this. We did nothing wrong, we were polite yet treated very poorly. The reviews were mostly good. Not sure what give here, maybe they only want to serve locals.

On occasion I frequent this restaurant until this morning. I will decide to go elsewhere to eat. In the kitchen they should cover their hair when preparing meals. I saw a long dark colored hair in my food. Definitely not edible :/

My husband and I have been here three times now. I meant to write a review sooner, Twice for breakfast and once for lunch. First time for breakfast we stuck to a fairly traditional choice. Second time we gave into the 6 egg omelet options. Half way though we swapped plates. Both were so flavorful and perfect amount of egg to filing ratio. Finally we came for lunch. Wow! I had the Cuban. The best I've had since a trip to Florida 10 years ago. My husband is a sucker for mushroom burgers. He said it is hands down the best he's had ever. I also substituted the onion rings with tartar. You can taste they are handmade and perfectly fried and battered. I keep recommending this place to friends. Now I am just waiting to have them expand to dinner hours. Thanks so much Nomz for great food and friendly staff.

I've only had breakfast here and it's not the worst but it by far isn't the best. Their pankcakes are just Ok and if you get fruit pancakes like blueberry, strawberry, etc be prepared to be told that they don't have fresh fruit just flavored sauces......really!? I will say that their prices are good just their food is just nothing special unfortunately.

Had absolutely the worst breakfast. Paid $16 for eggs Benedict. The ham had so much fat it was inedible. And the hash browns were VERY greasy. This is the 2nd bad breakfast in a row. They were busy but still...never going back.

We had breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak, it was marvelous. Eggs were cooked to perfection. My son ordered the biscuits and gravy. Biscuits where fresh and homemade. The service was great. My new breakfast joint.

Whattttt??? Yelpers! You failed me! The breakfast here is NOT good. Very little of it is anything but out of a can or the freezer. I will agree that the pancakes were great, but that was all that was good. So, we ordered: Biscuits and gravy (with hash browns and eggs): The biscuits were very dry and overcooked. They didn't even look good. The gravy was out of a can. It's the same gravy you get if you get the biscuits and gravy from the gas station in Lake Stevens, or any number of places that serve the canned gravy. The hash browns were just frozen shreds. They added rosemary which was just odd. The hashbrowns were cooked until they were almost black. They were bland, crunchy, and nearly inedible. #1 Massive Meal (eggs, hashbrowns, toast, pancakes): The eggs were good and cooked well, the hashbrowns were the same as with the other meal, the toast was good but way over buttered (on both sides), the pancakes were delicious and quite large. They use a strange non-brand of ketchup as well. If you are a Heinz lover, like most of America, you will be disappointed in their generic brand. We left there thinking that Yelpers must have rated them well for lunch, but then I read the actual reviews and saw all the great reviews for breakfast and now I just don't know what to think. Frozen and canned is not my idea of good food! The lunch did look good though so we *might* give them another try. Maybe. But probably not.

A random find while up in Marysville to go to Cabela's.... Came here for breakfast right before going to look at accoutrements for my shotgun. It's a little bit of a nerd's adventure as there is a game store next door and then you come into this place with all the nerdy sci-fi posters on the wall. Those things alone are enough to make the nerds salivate. I ordered the eggs benedict special and coffee although I thought that it was weird that the special on the dry-erase board was only $.50 cheaper than the price on the menu so I don't know about calling it special, people, but whatevs. It was pretty yummy. Another thing that was odd was that there was a sign up front that said wait for hostess or server or something but it was pretty much seat yourself. My point here being that is you're going to have that sign, follow up with the meet-greet-n-seat....connect a tiny bit with your customer. The food was delicious and I always appreciate a good breakfast place coming from the LBC (CA), where weekend breakfast joints are a big deal. There's nowhere interesting to eat on a Cabela's run so I would come here again should I find myself going gun shopping so early in the morning.

When you're looking for a place for your very first "breakfast date" you wanna find someplace like Nomz. The atmosphere was very geek chic and we were able to talk about some of the movie posters on the wall. It wasn't too busy that morning and the service was quick and friendly. She helped me choose from a pretty expansive breakfast menu. Food was plentiful. Lots of it. The Nomlette (not a typo) was huge! I ordered an eggs Benedict and it was lovely and flavorful and huge. Come here hungry.

Just had a really good breakfast. It's hard to find homemade corned beef hash and, often, places will lie and say it is, when it's not. Country fried steak was excellent, and lots of good crispy parts on the hash browns. Nice touches: freezer jam instead of smuckers packs and flavored coffee creamers. Nice, efficient service (although it was not crowded). My only complaint is that the over medium eggs I ordered were way beyond that. Even though I like the brown crispy edges on potatoes, I hate eggs to have them.

Wow good food, i had the biscuits and gravy it was delicious!!! there hush Browns has rosemary in it witch was new to me but I loved it. The staff is super friendly there was a table next to mine with a party of 4 senior citizens and they had a small complained about it being a little too greasy the waitress handle it with care and professionalism their meal was fixed immediately. I will totally come back if not for the same dish for there other unique dishes.

First restaurant we went to in Marysville. The menu is pretty awesome and I enjoyed the cheeseburger omelette. The wifey got some crazy pancakes the smelled hella delicious and looked fluffy. We were looking for apartments so we brought in the laptop and connected to their wifi while we searched for awesome places to live. This place rocks! Oh and there is some cool gaming store next door that has like Friday Nigh Magic and other tournaments; Marysville is pretty hip I guess.

Absolutely the best sit down eatery I have been to in a long time. Friendly waitress, amazing fresh, homemade food. The Reuben was about 3 inches tall and covered in sauerkraut and thousand island. The meat was so good, it melted in your mouth. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

  • Hanna B.

This place lived up to its' reputation. Epic portions and unique flavors. The ambience is nothing fancy but a classic, simple diner. If there is a downside it would be that there doesn't seem to be any other options but huge portions of heavy, hearty food.

  • Linda K.

I really wanted to like this place. It's near my house. It's got a fun name. The staff were fairly nice if a little too innatentive. It's relatively family freindly. But my breakfast of corned beef hash was swimming in grease. It's a miracle that I didn't have a gall bladder attack after my meal.

  • Kiera K.

So far the best breakfast food Ive found in the area. It's like homemade breakfast you didn't have to cook, so good. The hashbrowns are from scratch instead of reconstituted ones you get at most chains/restaurants. The bacon is the thick kind cooked to perfection, not to floppy and not overdone into bacon bits. Also the pancakes are delicious. Yum!

Went in about noon, there was no issue with ordering breakfast this late, which made me happy. We ordered the French toast plate that came with eggs and bacon or sausage, along with the turkey cranberry sandwich and a side salad. The side salad was good sized and pretty yummy. Nothing amazing but a solid salad that earned points for not being tiny. The turkey cran sandwich was HUGE and delicious, although I do wish I had ordered extra cranberry sauce; I love that stuff. The French toast plate was about what you would expect, you can't really go wrong with breakfast food! The service was average and the girls were friendly. No complaints there. One thing that made me happy is that there was no shortage of flavored coffee creamers! I hate when I go somewhere and there's only one or two vanilla creamers in the bowl. Invariably I have to ask for more and always feel like I'm doing something wrong to have used "all" the flavored creamers. Not here! About half the creamers were flavored, yay! I gave 4 stars because this is a solid breakfast/lunch place that I will return to, however, I do wish there was a little better selection, including waffles and Swedish pancakes :D

Okay, my boyfriend and I are new to the area and we decided to get some breakfast from Nom's one morning. Let me first start off by saying YUM!! I had their pancakes and they tasted just like my grandmother's when I was a kid! My boyfriend had their eggs benedict and he loved them! They came with home made sauce and thick cut ham, he was in heaven! My only problem was that the Orange juice was a little underwhelming but other than that, yummy! We told everyone how great it was and we will definitely be going back!!

I like this place because it is homemade food. I am from east coast where there are more of these than chains. Breakfast is good and a lot of food. We have eaten here twice. The toast twice has been very strange. First time it toasted on only one side (I think toaster broken) the second time my daughter took a bite and grimaced and then the dreaded "try this mom" it was weird, maybe rancid butter?? Strange oil mixture. Whatever it was not eatable. The pancakes are great and the omelets are delicious. The homemade hash browns are good. The bacon is thicker and really good and the ham is fresh ham - thick slices. I hear the hamburgers are really good so next time we go we will try them. It is a little over priced, but I appreciate the homemade food.

OMG kinda good. Hubby got something basic and breakfasty and I got the fritatta. It was the best fritatta I have ever had, hands down. They were very accommodating of my weird vegetarian and gluten free eating. Service was great and you could tell this is a small business devoted to making great food and making sure customers feel happy and welcome. We found Nomz on Yelp and had to go for the reviews, but got a little turned around trying to find it. It is a little tucked back, but worth it.

Found this restaurant through Yelp while on a "girls weekend" in and around Seattle. One of my friends is a real foodie and she wanted Eggs Benedict. She got her wish at Nomz and remarked at how good they were, to include homemade sauce. We all enjoyed our meals, the friendly waitress and patrons.

Was impressed on my first visit here. I got country fried steak. It was your average breakfast. Gravy was pretty good. My 5 stars would be for the service/atmosphere. I was greeted right away when I walked in, got my food pretty quickly. Always had full coffee and water, and the waitresses were pretty friendly. I will be back for the service. Was pretty clean too.

Delicious food and friendly staff! I had the Philly cheesesteak and my husband has the turkey bacon melt. Both were really good and the portions were huge! We couldn't finish and took the rest to go. Oh and the fries were also great, super crunchy and hot. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

  • Barbi M.

Excellent biscuits and gravy and the hashbrowns are the best I've ever had (and that's saying a lot!!). I am not as much of a fan of the lunch time choices but my adult son could live off of their philly steak subs so I'll just chalk it up to my own preferences because the quality seems good.

Stopped in on our way home from errands. We were seated right away and were attended to right away. Our food arrived really fast piping hot fresh off the grill. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The facility was clean. We both agreed that the food was okay.

Good food, good service, good prices! Everyone enjoyed their meals. Hubby & I shared the Carne Esada omelet, very good! Only suggestion.... if you like your hashbrowns on the crispy side (crispy outside, soft inside), tell your server that. Our daughter ordered them, and they were kinda mushy. All & all, a great little breakfast joint!!

Service and portion sizes were great, the food was not. Soggy hashbrowns. Gravy for the biscuits and gravy tasted almost slimy. I've never been served oily fried eggs instead of poached for eggs benedict. Husband and I were sick after eating here. Will not be coming back.

Basic breakfast food, tried it one time may go back if my 2 Favorite spots have too long of a wait. I am not telling the 2 don't want them to get any busier than they are now.

Found this place on yelp and they had great reviews so had to try it. Just had breakfast at Nomz for the first time and it lived up to the reviews. The menu had a great variety of foods for everyone. The hash browns were amazing, crispy and well seasoned. Everything was fresh and homemade. The coffee was even good and I'm kind of a coffee snob. I will definitely come back.

The place is amazing!! Huge portions and all the food actually has flavor! Unlike some other breakfast joints I've checked out, the staff here are attentive and friendly. I have never had anything here that I didn't like. Not sure what to get? Let me recommend their corn beef hash..no it's not the canned stuff. Best hash I've ever had!

I would give 3 1/2 if I could, but I won't round up to a 4. My boyfriend and I went here on Fathers Day last year. First off, service was sloooow. As in super slow. I know it was a holiday, but it was still too slow. My boyfriend ordered a hot chocolate and it took nearly 30 minutes just to receive his drink order. And about another 30 mins to get our food. He wanted to order another hot chocolate but I said no way, I didn't want to wait another half hour. So he drank his water instead. Onto the food...we both ordered breakfast. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash, which I was told is made in house. It wasn't bad. The flavor was good, it was just too greasy. My boyfriend ordered hash browns and eggs and pancakes. I don't usually care for pancakes, but I got to say, these ones were pretty darn good. I kept eating them until he said to stop lol. I would return to this place, I'm just usually not out and about at breakfast time. But if I am again on a weekend then I'd definitely try this place again.

Nomz is my spot! Can you believe the thick sliced ham they have? Or the savory, perfect hash browns?! Such delicious, authentic diner food. Not to mention my heart belongs to the "owner" at the booth by the cash register.

I can say that their corned beef hash was phenomenal. Not over seasoned, they take the time to caramelize the onions...It's cozy and the lady waitressing was so pleasant. I found my new breakfast spot!

  • Stephie M.

We gave them a second chance and the waitress has been a lot better. It looks like they got some extra help which is perfect. The breakfasts are yummy and huge! I ordered the BLT once and it was swimming in mayo so maybe ask for very little if getting a sandwich. Otherwise they are a nice little hole in the wall.

  • Christopher H.

First time going here. The food was great. We waited a little too long for our food, but when we finally got it it was good. Really good. I ordered the "Meatatarian" Nomelette with hash browns and a short stack on the side. The omelette was huge and cooked just right. And the pancakes were big as well and very tasty. You wouldn't even need syrup. Allot of food for your green. The service... Good. Friendly waitresses. As i mentioned above the wait for our food was long, but worth it once the munching commenced. And i digged the movie posters hanging on the walls. Give it a try. Enjoy!

AMAZING PANCAKES!!!!! This our favorite breakfast place by far. These guys are doing a great job and know how to do breakfast the right way. If you are looking for a great family friendly place to eat and want some great food make sure to stop by Nomz.

Good!! We stopped in before heading to the Tulip Festival. My husband got a bacon burger. He liked that they use "real homemade bacon". His fries were super good! I Nomz'd on them. :) I ordered a side biscuits and gravy and a frittata. The biscuits were so good; flaky and delish. The gravy was authentic homemade sausage gravy. It could have used a spicy kick IMO but I look forward to going back to have the full size version with eggs. The frittata was decent, actually lighter than anticipated (noticed that with the biscuits and gravy too...but we left stuffed, just not uncomfortably). We got it with hash browns. Holy crap, those are the best shredded hash browns ever!!! I think a scramble with those hash browns would be a win-win for an incredible dish! Not only did they look and taste like fresh shredded real potatoes, they tasted that way, and the rosemary? Yesssss!!! Nothing was greasy- fries, hash browns or anything else we had. We were full but not feeling awful probably because of this. That makes the meal so much more pleasurable. Pricing was pretty average but the quality was above average. At 2pm on a Sunday, it wasn't very busy. It's a little divey but didn't seem dirty. The only thing I noticed was that the silverware didn't seem super clean. One fork had to be removed from the picture. Portion size seemed to be perfect. It looks like a lot of food, and it was good size portions, but the "lightness", particularly of the breakfast items we ordered, there was hardly anything left. No boxes needed!! Our server was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to another round at Nomz. Thanks Yelpers for helping us find this place!

Best little breakfast diner in Marysville, bar none! We've been coming here every Saturday morning for the better part of this year and have never been disappointed. The staff is great; friendly, polite, quick, and we've never had to wait more than 15 minutes max for our eats. Best hashbrowns and pancakes in town (I recommend the chocolate chip ones!) and CHEAP -- a full sit-down breakfast with coffee and tip for two people under $20? C'mon! Also, vintage movie posters and great music, every time.

Found this place going to work one day and was very taken back by the appearance. Don't let it fool you this place is cool. The staff is fantastic. Food, be prepared to be overfed. The proportions are huge Price is reasonable. But you get this hometown feel out of it when you go there. One of my favorite hangout's. You will not be disappointed.

This is your pretty average American diner. The food was yummy. The service and prices were alright. The interior in the restaurant leaves something to be desired. And the bathroom was functional, but pretty gross looking. I do have to say I enjoyed the food though. It tasted good and was fast.

Coming from a guy that doesn't really like biscuits and gravy, I must say... Delicious. This place is kind of a hole in the wall and could easily be missed. I have been here a few times and each time I have left satisfied. The menu is simple and full of all your favorite breakfast items. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

Nomz diner is tucked away, alongside Alfy's Pizza, off of state ave. This american fare diner is open for breakfast and lunch only. My spouse and I had breakfast. The small, perhaps intimate, the atmosphere is slightly awkward, as multiple staff hang out by the register, completely in view of all customers. At the time of our visit, we were the only customers. The menu is basic, perhaps limited. Service is excellent, very attentive. Food is average, not spectacular, nor disappointing. The eggs have a slightly runny, perhaps a mix, type of texture and the seasoning contains herbs with distinct flavor, offering a slightly annoying after taste. Different is the best word for describing. Not bad, just not a taste I would scurry back for. Serving sizes were large, certainly too much food for either of us, not complaining as some prefer hearty portions. My spouse thought the gravy with his biscuits and gravy was mediocre, perhaps canned. His summary was, "It was okay." Pricing was average and fair. Jam/jelly is high quality and the toast with my meal was great. Overall I rate Nomz average, worth revisiting but not on our top choice list.

Excellent food, great service, good price for the quality of food. Went during the week and sat right down food was served within 15 minutes and was piping hot. The only I didn't care for was the gravy, it has too much rosemary in it. Other than that I'd recommend this place to everyone!

Was really good! Had chicken fried steak. Hard to find good gravy but this one it hit the spot. Waitress was great too! Never would have realized this place existed had it not been for yelp! I'd come again :) even the children's portions were good! Eggs were nice fluffy and buttery! Feeling food coma coming on. NAP TIME! Lol

We went back for breakfast and this time I ordered the special they had on the board: Raspberry Stuffed Railroad French Toast with scrambled eggs and sausage PATTY. The patty is so good! I ended up cutting up the sausage and eating it with together with the french toast. It was fantastic! I liked it better than the Biscuits & Gravy from last time. But both items were super yummy. My wife wanted French Toast but they didn't have a combo with the stuff she wanted. The waitress swapped out pancakes for French Toast in massive meal #1 with no additional charge. That made things easy! My stuffed french toast was very, very flavorful and seemed to be made completely different from the regular french toast. My wife's french toast was borderline plain. It had a very mild hint of cinnamon. It was still good but they need to make their regular french toast the way they make the stuffed french toast (minus the filling, of course!). Stuffed French Toast seems like it was coated in a thicker batter and possibly deep fried?! Maybe it was a fluke but the difference between the 2 were night and day. Again, its a great place for breakfast. We will definitely go back!

Decent and average all around. Basic meals that are served in a reasonable amount of time by adequate servers that aren't grumpy. Nothing bad at all about the service or the food. But nothing amazingly awesome either. Diner food. For us a little too far to travel for average. If you live near by and just want some basic diner food, then this is an okay place to go.

My friend and I usually meet for breakfast ay least one day on the weekends and we decided we should try some new places, rather than our two or three normal restaurants. We decided to give Nomz a try. They say first impressions are everything and I don't think they have heard that. There is a sign saying wait to be seated, when the waitress came over she just pointed to the booth in the far corner said we could sit there. I noticed it seemed dark in there, dark painted walls, dark carpet, dark upholstery on the furniture and booths. I then noticed all the curtains were closed on the windows. I asked the waitress about it, she said the sun gets too bright in there. there was little chance of that as it was overcast outside. Oh well, whatever They have iconic movie posters from the late 70's and 80's wrapped in plastic and just hung on the walls, no frames, looked very cheap. Service was so so. My benchmark of a new breakfast place is their omelets. They had one, the carnitas, with smoked pork in it, that interested me. When I ordered it, I was told they were out of the smoked pork, so I ordered the chicken fried steak instead. It was edible, gravy was good, hash browns kind of limp and greasy eggs were ok and the toast was good. Ok, but I don't think Nomz will make it on to our normal rotation of breakfast joints.

Our families favorite local breakfast place in Marysville. Generous portion size, delicious food! The French toast is super good, and my kids love the pancakes. Good value for the money. It's refreshing not to pay a big restaraunt chain for subpar generic breakfast food, but instead pay for great food from a small local business.

We've been coming to Nomz since we accidentally stumbled on it right after it opened. My honey is pretty darned particular, and they are always wonderful about customizing his meal as he desires. Their "nomlettes" are delicious and absolutely stuffed with goodies, the pancakes are the best flavored I've ever had, and I have just discovered the "country benedict". Oh my. I'm getting fatter just typing about it.

After seeing the reviews we thought we'd give it a try the place is clean I thought the prices were little bit high but the portions are good for the price however I thought the food was just okay nothing special not sure I'll come back

Out of the way but definitely worth it if stuffed French toast and sausages are your thing. The stuffed French toast is not on the menu all the time but they'll gladly make it for you. It's probably the best I've ever had. I'm a fan of sausages over bacon so I ordered the sausage patty. It was greasy but so flavorful and delicious. My partner had the link and hands down, the patty was better!! If you're looking for hefty hang over breakfast, this is it. If you're looking for healthy egg white omelettes, this is not it lol

Wow! A great find in Marysville! My Eggs Benedict lunch had homemade hollandaise sauce and the ham was like half an inch thick...amazing. I haven't found great "diner" food like this in years. The hash browns had rosemary in them. Delicious! We'll be back.

Wow, just wow! This place is awesome, great food, great prices. Definitely try the pancakes, they are amazing. There are other things on the menu as well, the chicken fried steak is amazing, and the prices are great. Don't stop at breakfast alone though, check out the lunch menu! It's great as well, and reasonably priced. I recently held a group event there, and they were amazing to deal with. Friendly, courteous, and made seating my 10 person group a snap. Food was fast, and the servers were super attentive!

Let me start off saying I'm not a breakfast person. My husband rarely gets me to go out to breakfast. This was the best breakfast ever! The portions were huge! Pancakes as big as your head. We shared the country fried steak and both got pancakes on the side not knowing how big they are. This place is unassuming from the outside but don't let that stray you. Awesome service, good food and not over crowded. 5 stars all the way!

Great breakfast. Had deluxe biscuits and gravy compared to wife's breakfast's at home. Not like the usual hospital food you get at other restaurants. Only bad was 45 minute wait for order. Definitely go back.

I can't give less than 5 stars because everything we had was fantastic! There were 6 of us and we all had something different so it was a pretty good test of the food. Corned beef hash - AMAZING! Everything was cooked as ordered including the steak and all the eggs. I'm not sure why but I just couldn't stop eating the hash-browns, they were a perfect balance of soft and crunchy! The service was great, bacon was crisp and biscuits are grilled to perfection! Will definitely be back if we're in the area again since the sandwich we saw go to another table looked delightful!

Menu was very limited during breakfast hours and the two items I really wanted were only available on specific days, not sure what thats about but they made an exception and I got bisquits and gravy. the other item I wanted was country / chicken fried steak. The bisquits & gravey were average, nothing about them stood out for me to want to go back for that specific meal but the customer service was excellent and it was a nice clean establishment with descent prices. Nomz is a fairly new establishment to the area and im sure they will just keep getting better. I'll come here again.

Some of the best food and best service I've ever had! I would highly recommend this to people who like tasty lunches and breakfasts. There chocolate chip pancakes are better that fresh cookies right out of oven. There bacon is THICK! And very tasty. Overall amazing food and amazing quality for a more than affordable price.

This place consistently gets great reviews, and I was really excited to check it out. Sadly, it is not a place I will return to in a quick hurry. After a late night on the town last night, a solid, hearty breakfast sounded like the perfect Sunday kickoff. The menu was pretty solid - typical diner style faire, which was exactly what we were craving. We were promptly greeted by a server and our drink orders were taken. Two minutes later, another server appeared at our table and proceeded to utter the two following words: "want coffee?" No greeting, no smile, nothing. She cast a brief look of annoyance at us when we politely informed her that we had already placed our drink order with the other server. Having barely been seated for two minutes, we had not finalized our breakfast decisions, which seemed to be another point of exasperation for our surly server. She was back promptly after we'd decided, muttering three abrupt words this time: "What'll it be?" in the same insolent tone. Corned beef hash with Hollandaise sauce on the side for myself, and pancakes, bacon and hashbrowns for my partner in crime. As a former brunch server, with nearly 10 years experience in customer service, I completely understand how Sunday breakfast can be extremely stressful and dishes can take longer to execute at peak times. However, by the time we placed our order, the restaurant crowd had significantly thinned out, and we were one of about 3 tables in the whole place. That being said, our food took an incredibly long time to arrive, and the dishes did not come out all at once. Once again, things happen, but this was a bit ridiculous. The pancakes came out first without their sides. My boyfriend was polite enough to wait for me to get my food, but it got to the point where his breakfast would be cold by the time everything else arrived. We shared the pancakes until my dish arrived, but we were still waiting on his scrambled eggs, bacon and hashbrowns, which should, theoretically, take less time to cook than the pancakes. Our plates were huge, and the food was good enough, but instead of being on the side, my Hollandaise was localized to a gelatinous glob on top of the scrambled eggs. Deciding we just wanted to eat and get out, I didn't push it. Minor detail, not worth the fuss. The incomplete food orders seemed to be a trend with the other tables as well. Nearly every table had plates coming out at various stages with several minutes in between. The icing on the cake was hearing our grouchy server enthusiastically greet the two new tables that arrived next to us. She treated us like we were an immense thorn in her side throughout the entire experience even though we were polite from the get go. Despite poor execution, the food was affordable and fairly satisfying, but being treated like we were barely worth acknowledging left a bad taste in my mouth.

Not sure how we wound up here, but glad we did. I had the best biscuits and gravy that I've ever had before. Service great, decor kinda cheezy, and the store front kinda throws you off, it doesn't really look like a restaurant. GF got the French toast and thought they were missing flavor. I'm excited to return the salad and French dip looked awesome. I did appreciate the background music too, good tunes.

Came here while vacationing at a lake cabin - so glad we did! The veggie omelette was made with cracked eggs unlike another place we tried nearby and stuffed with mushrooms and pepper and cheese etc. so yummy! Very large portion with enough to go so could ask for a smaller amount. Hash brown shreds were good. Pancakes were yummy and fluffy! Four of us loved our breakfast and 2 came back a second time. Cute little diner style atmosphere, really nice attentive server and a great cook!

Excellent little place in a strip mall. After golf needed some nourishment and enjoyed a hearty chicken fried steak with meat filled gravy over extra crispy hash browns as ordered! My golf partner enjoyed the meaty omelette that was just that! Our plates were clean and the thing better than the food was the servers! Happy to help and far enough away to let us enjoy our meal and lies about our golf game!

These people have a good startup going. We had lunch there one Sat. recently. When we first drove by the name of the place caused us to screech to a stop and flip a u-ie and come back. It was hard to tell looking at the place what they were cooking in there as the street presentation is mysterious but it did say diner. So we looked em up online and it sounded ok so we went in. Waitress was right there with menu and greeting. Place is pretty bare bones looking as they are new and probably not rolling in money. Food was really good. Everything is made by them. No microwaved weirdnesses. Friendly little joint for good food all cooked by hand. Nice. They deserve a try- for American style pleasant cooking. Not formal at all.

Decent prices, really good breakfast food (I have yet to try their lunch menu) and good service. My boyfriend ask for his eggs to be cooked a certain way and they did it perfect! By far my new favorite breakfast stop!

Great food and service. The portions are really big, even a little too big. Nice family restaurant that is making food worth eating.

I have eaten at Nomz diner twice. Excellent service, and excellent food. Family diner style with booths and tables. Very relaxed, a good "Mom and Pop" style diner. Prices are good for the portions size you get. Very well rounded in all areas of food: Standard chicken strips, burgers, breakfast all day, and daily specials. The French fries are amazing too. Diner is kid friendly, small and quaint. Located in the Alfy's parking lot in Marysville, WA. All and all a terrific American style diner. Wish there was one in Lake Stevens or Snohomish!

I really, really wanted to like Nomz. Really. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The food wasn't bad, it was just so-so. After finding Nomz on Yelp, I decided to check it out today with a friend. Love Yelp. It helps me find all kinds of new, yummy breakfast places. And after reading the reviews on Yelp about Nomz, I was excited! When we get to Nomz, I ordered banana pancakes and hash browns, and my friend ordered the raspberry-stuffed french toast. About 10 minutes after taking my order, the waitress came back to the table and told me they were all out of bananas. That meant no banana pancakes for me. "No bananas?! How do you not have bananas?! There are three stores down the street!" was my first thought, but I kept that to myself. I settled for raspberry pancakes instead. The food comes to the table, and while the portion sizes were good, the raspberry pancakes were not so good. If you order raspberry pancakes and are paying $1.00 extra for the raspberries, woudn't you think that the raspberries would be in the pancake? Baked into the pancake? On top of the pancake? That's what I thought, but not what I got. No raspberries to speak of, only raspberry syrup. What the...? Rather than complain or say a word, I decided to chow down. Pancakes were cold. Lame. Cold food is my pet peeve. I want my food hot! Hot food is not expecting or asking for too much. My friend's french toast didn't have any actual raspberries either, only raspberry syrup baked between the bread. I did have a bite of the french toast and it was better than my pancakes. And it was warm. It's so hard for me to give places a second chance; I want to be wowed or at least impressed the first time. Sorry, Nomz...you didn't make the cut.

This was the best breakfast we have had in a long time. Eggs were perfect, pancakes were light and fluffy and delicious, french Toast was incredible. We will be back, there is nothing bad about this place. Awesome food, awesome service.

I was in town at Tulalip and was in the mood for some good breakfast. This place didn't disappoint. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. If I had to pick out a bad point... the menu/selection was limited. Food: - Strawberry pancakes: 8/10 - The best feature of these pancakes was the crispy edge. The strawberry was a strawberry syrup with with strawberries in it. There were no strawberries directly in the pancake. That being said, the syrup was tasty and the pancake had a wonderful texture. - Chocolate chip pancakes: 8/10 - Just like the strawberry pancakes, these also had a great crisp on the edge. Plus, the chocolate chips were in the pancake. The waitress wasn't too far off when she said "it's like a cookie"! Having some of these pancakes and rotating with the strawberry pancakes worked out well. - Biscuits and Gravy + scrambled eggs + hash browns: 7/10 - The eggs were the weakest part of this dish. They were nearly under-cooked with still a few spots of whites that were semi-liquid. They also didn't have much flavor. The hash browns were crispy and tasty, just like they should be. The biscuits and gravy were the star of the plate. The gravy didn't taste like flour, or grease, etc... Instead, it had very fresh, light and well seasoned flavor. The biscuits wonderfully light and airy. On top of all of that, the platter was huge. One of the oddities of this place was how quiet it was. For a Sunday morning at 9, I thought the place would be crowded and loud with the sounds of a typical breakfast rush. Instead, the place was pin-drop-quiet most of the time. No worries though, the service, food, and price all made it worth it!

The only thing going for this restaurant was the service. The service was friendly. Decided to visit the restaurant based on YELP reviews, which was a terrible decision. Im not sure what people are talking about In their reviews to warrant 4 stars. The food was very heavy and greasy. The grease made the food slide around on the plate. I Ordered an orange juice and was not expecting it to taste like it was passed its expiration date. It tasted like it was turning to alcohol. Not worth the price paid that was paid for. I could have paid the exact same for an organic breakfast. The service is the only redeeming quality.

Finally went in for the first time this morning for Breakfast. Friendly wait staff. Nice size portions. Excellent coffee, yummy food! Our new favorite cafe In town. Totally recommend, you won't be sorry! I had the pancake breakfast with ham. 2 huge pancakes & a huge thick piece of ham! And fluffy scrambled eggs. Everything tasted fresh & homemade. I think I detected a touch of vanilla taste In the pancakes, yummy! Also, if you like cream in your coffee they brought out a large variety of different flavored creamers. And the prices I thought were very fair!

3 Stars for their lunch. The employees were very nice. Had the turkey cranberry sandwich with fries and their awesome sauce. Both were pretty tasty on their own, but if I worked there, I would suggest that the sandwich along with the awesome sauce are never paired together. They do not compliment each other at all. The awesome sauce IS pretty awesome. I had a sauce very similar to this and dipped popcorn shrimp in. It was amazing! It went well with the fries, but not combined with the sandwich. Besides that, the sam was decent. I could tell the cranberry sauce was canned. I grew up eating that, I know that taste anywhere. I found it odd that they used shredded cheese instead of sliced too. I usually do that if I run out of sliced cheese at home and have no other choice. Maybe that was why they used it? I would hate to think they honestly feel the shredded cheese was a better option. The fries were tasty as well. They reminded me of crisscut fries from Carl's Jr. But I could tell they were frozen unfortunately. The food overall wasn't fresh. That was obvious. But for what they do, they do it very well. The meal wasn't bad at all. While we wouldn't order this again, I think we would definitely come back for breakfast. Their breakfast looks legit and maybe that's our fault for not ordering the right thing. Next time.

Good diner-style breakfast. The six-egg omelettes are huge but you can get them at half-size as well if you like. Service was friendly and delicious food (with nice thick toast) came out super-fast. Highly recommended for a non-fancy but tasty, large-quantity, 'Murican-style breakfast.

The pancakes are incredible! They're the main reason my girlfriend and I will continue to come back. We usually split the massive meal, which easily feeds us both. The bacon is amazing as well. Thick cut, not too crispy or chewy, and degreased when it gets to the table. The facility is small & clean, the staff is courteous, & the food is great. It's what you would expect from a small town diner.

Why am I just now discovering this place? Thankfully, I saw an old article about this 'start-up' of 3 years ago on FB and decided to take my daughter for a late breakfast. So glad we went. We shared a Nom-Omlette and she had toast and I had hashbrowns. It was PLENTY of food to share! We were there about 11am mid-week and service was swift and with a smile. Perfect!Looking forward to our next breakfast there.
