An awesome place with a great selection on Mac, the sauce is rich and really tasty. Price is just right as well.

My family stopped here on the way back from Olympia. The food was excellent! We got the buffalo mac, baked potato mac, and my toddler had the mac and hot dogs. The sauce on all the dishes was creamy - not too liquidy or overly thick. The buffalo had some great spice to it and the baked potato had wedges of crispy potatoes. Big portions, so expect to take home some leftovers (not a terrible thing!). The place is small and you'll be doing some self-service (fountain drinks, get your own silverware, etc.). I'm not sure why, but the fountain drinks tasted really, really good. The tables are painted so that you can draw on then with chalk - our toddler really liked that. The staff were very friendly - it looked like there were just two people working while we were there, but food came quick. Definitely a great place to stop for something a little different and very tasty!

I only have good things to say about this place. The food is delicious and the service is great. The atmosphere feels like you're right at home. I love drawing on the tables with the chalk they provide. If you go you have to try to aim for the weekend because their breakfast is one of a kind. The PB&J pancakes are perfect. If you can't make it for breakfast on the weekend than get one of the million different choices you have for Mac and cheese. I always get the Baked Potato Mac, but I need to try the meatloaf that my friend always gets. This place is great and I wish I could take it with me when I move.

Great food and the staff was super friendly! They have much more than just Mac n cheese so lots of choices if you're in the mood for something different.

A cute little store in a gas station strip mall. I had high hopes for this place after the reviews. I placed an order to go and the woman I spoke with was very friendly. Unfortunately everything I had was extremely bland and way overpriced. They put the dressing on the salad so the lettuce was soggy and there was no taste to the Caesar dressing. Their mac & cheese was probably the worst that I've ever had. I got a very large container full and only took a few bites and threw the rest away. My kids wouldn't eat any of the food. I noticed they had brunch, so that might be worth a try, but I noticed that some of the people leaving left large portions of uneaten food so I'm thinking everything is equally bad. The only things that I can say that were okay was their barbecue sauce and their french fries.

I went here for lunch for the first time on February 26, 2015. I'm specifying the date because the woman working that day was exceptional. I should've asked her name, so I could call her out personally in this review. I had the broccoli mac & cheese, which was pretty good. I prefer a thicker sauce, but it was flavorful. I liked it. But it was the service that will bring me back the next time I'm in the Olympia area. One woman was ringing people up, bringing out the food promptly, and cleaning off the tables all with a smile on her face. She noticed that I had been waiting for a little while and gave me an update on my food. When she brought it out, she told me she'd make sure I'd get a box, and then followed through. I really appreciated her pleasant attitude during the lunch rush. She was awesome!

I loved everything about this place! The chalkboard tables are a fun way to entertain yourself or kids while waiting for any of the FABULOUS Mac n cheeses!! The buffalo chicken ranch is my favorite.

Meh... we really enjoyed the friendly staff, good vibes and kid friendly atmosphere. BUT I ordered the duck mac and it seemed like there were a very few pieces of duck in it... I couldn't really tell there was duck in there! I took couple bites of The dish and i was done and the wife ordered chilli mac and she took couple bites of it also. So we took it to go. All in all?...we were pretty disappointed with the food for the price we paid...It just didn't have the"wow factor" for us.

We had fried chicken, loaded baked potato mac n cheese and buffalo Mac n cheese. Everything was great. We came during a Friday night and they were busy, but service was good. Nice relaxed environment and friendly staff.

So I went in looking for some good ole' homemade mac n cheese, boy was I let down... I tried one of the specials the brisket mac n cheese which included mac n cheese with a twilight summer ale, brisket and bbq sauce sounds simple and delicious. Well they were not busy, service was slow, they brought out the wrong order to my brother. They did not reduce the beer long enough in the cheese so it was really runny, brisket was well burned and coated with a really smoky bbq sauce. Everything was an EPIC Fail!

Good service. Good food. Huge portions. Would prefer a traditional waiting staff, but self serve was fine. Good service. Good food. Huge portions. Would prefer a traditional waiting staff, but self serve was fine.

The food is really good, portions are big. I liked that you could add whatever you wanted to your Mac. The milkshakes are good too. The only thing holding my review down to 3 stars is the building itself. It is way too small and during the summer it is so unbareably hot that even the staff was sweaty. I look forward to a bigger space and better climate control. But overall, it will be a good spot to stop from to time if it isn't crowded.

Short and simple review: Both my wife and I aim to eat there again when we pass through Lacey. Longer review: Ok, to be honest, I think this place is more of a solid 4 star than 5 star... But I figure a decent place in such a "so so" location needs all the help it an get. Food was quite good, not spectacular but satisfying. Quantities are large. My digestion is pretty touchy and I had no problems at all with the food. Menu is large, specials interesting. They do ice cream and shakes (didn't try). Breakfast items pretty much all day. I went for one of their specials: Eggs Benedict (for dinner! yay! :) made with their cheese sauce instead of hollandaise. The potatoes with it were very good, and they swapped ingredients in them for me since I didn't want bell peppers. Wife had mac with mushrooms. The mushrooms were very tasty. The macaroni texture was perfect. About the only quibble I have with the food is that the cheese sauce, while nice, is kind of plain. It works as a blank canvas, so whatever you have with it (my ham, her mushrooms) stands out... But when my wife makes mac and cheese it can pretty much be a main course by itself, and theirs (if one didn't add extra goodies) couldn't. That being said, her sauce probably wouldn't be economical (sherry, fancy cheeses, etc.) for a restaurant to make. And if one IS adding the goodies theirs may be better for it. But, in that the menu is pretty much built around it, I might have expected something more interesting. I.e. It's good, but make sure and add the goodies. The decor / ambiance is basically strip mall: Boring, clean, enough room to move around. The chalk tables are a good idea. I noticed several other interesting looking restaurants in the same mall, may check them out sometime. A small note: This location is a little bit farther off the freeway than the national chain paces, but the road it is on parallels the freeway so it isn't as far a detour as it might seem. I think it is worth driving it. Bottom line: If you are stopping in Lacey = try this place.

I went here when they first opened the noodles were mushy and the Mac was bland I hope to go back and give it another go but it just wasn't that good

  • Samuel R.

Great little hole in the wall. It's the kind of place that I would not go if it was a chain. Good breakfast, lots of menu items, good desserts, and a nice selection of beer. Mac n more has a great vibe, and like others have said, has chalkboard tables. The restaurant is owned by a former service member. You will not regret eating here.

  • Kelsey P.

Meh. Ate here a while ago. Crawfish Mac n cheese was pricy for the few pieces included in there. I had to send it back the first time as there was a hair in it. The chalkboard tables are nifty. I wouldn't go back.

Excellent food in a off the main drag shopping strip. Food is great, I ordered the basic Mac and cheese. Warm, sharp sauce - with the addition of a number of "mix-ins." I recommend the green onion. It's great for kids. I can't wait to come back and try the mud bug.

I have eaten there a couple of time and it's okay. I love the variety and the prices but they put way too much on your plate. The helpings are just too big.

Family business. This is who gets our business. National chains? They'll do fine without our business. Mac n More has showed me and my wife on more than one visit that their customers matter to them. Comfort food in my opinion does something for how you feel. Although I wouldn't make burgers and Mac n cheese a dietary staple it makes for an enjoyable every so often treat. My last visit I got the pizza smash style burger, mozzarella, pepperoni, and pesto mayo made this burger awesome! In and of itself I'd give that burger a 5!! I've had the staff make more allowances for special requests with no attitude than at any other place we go, minus other locally owned places. NO OTHER place in town allows you to vote on upcoming menu options, Mac n More does! I've seen them adjust their marketing be creative and flexible to their customer base. The burgers are unique and flavorful, their Mac has a variety for probably just about anyone! Breakfast? Yeah they got that too, want the Mac n. More cheese sauce for those potatoes? Yeah, they got that! Time of day, season of the year, or whatever mood your in, if you want the kind of meal that just makes you feel good, Mac n More is where to go!

I love love love Mac n More!! Their buffalo chicken Mac is amazing, as well as the meatloaf Mac and pretty much everything there!! I loved their mac of the month, every month there is something new so call for their specials. Their service is great, wait times are short, and my takeout is always hot. Portions are amazing and I love the side of bread with the Mac.

A casual, unassuming, nearly hidden in a small strip mall between busier areas, local small business. We haven't explored the menu much as this was our first time in, but we thoroughly enjoyed our food and the excellent, friendly service. You order at a small counter, drinks are mostly self serve and they bring your food out to you. We opted for the meat loaf mac and the Buffalo chicken mac. Both came out quickly in a plentiful, steaming hot portion with a hunk of toasted buttery garlic bread. I'll ask for more crumb crust next time, but there was probably enough for most. We only finished about half, though we're not generally light eaters, it is very filling, and it'll heat back up nicely later too. We're looking forward to trying more off of their menu next time we're in the area.

So the mac was waaaaaaay over cooked. The noodles were so mushy. There was some kind of artificial taste in there somewhere. I was so hungry and I was so excited to try it, but it was a total let down. Don't understand the hype. My meatloaf mac was nasty.

  • Victoria F.

This place has been consistently good! Im totally in love with the baked potato mac and cheese its by far my favorite! Its a little on the pricier side for some mac and cheese but they make up for it in quantity and quality. Plus its a great place to bring the kids! They are allowed to draw on the tables and what kid doesnt love mac and cheese.

  • Kimberly C.

I actually would give it more of a 3.5 but there isn't that option. When my boyfriend, our son and I first walked in, I was feeling the vibe of the place. We got our seats and menu. I ordered the loaded potato mac, my boyfriend got the daily special stroganoff mac and we got a large heap of fries. It took us about 10 minutes or so to order our food bc the waiter seemed more occupied talking to his coworkers. Even after ordering and waiting for our food the waiter was like on his phone so I was like eh. Not feeling that. My bf was super occupied with the chalk that was at the table since the tables are covered in chalkboard paint so you can doodle on the table. When we got the food, we were super happy with what we got. That stroganoff needs to be added to the regular menu! My bf's complaint was the noodles need to be more of an al dente but I liked it just how it was. They were good sized portions for the price as well. Overall, we were happy with this place. There was a place we went to similar to this in Cerritos, ca that I didn't like at all so I was hoping that this was way better than that experience and it definitely was. We will come back here for some mac. Now, time to try the original mac n cheese !

Love me some Mac n' cheese. This place absolutely killed it. I had the smoked brisket special and it was amazing. My girl tried the buffalo chicken mac and it was also great. Portion was well worth the money and it was just awesome.

Yummy!!! Tried this place out an love it! There are so many combo's to choose from its awesome! You could try a different combo every week for a year an never get bored! Plus the kids meals come with a mini sunday! And the pricing!! SUPER inexpensive!

  • Lisa C.

I Love Comfort food and nothing says comfort like a piping hot platter of Mac n Cheese that is unless you come across a man who decided to take the American Standard of Mac N Cheese and throw the refrigerator into it. Some of the combos are crazy and some just a little out there but I have to say I have had a few of them and still the Mac balls are the fav. Way to go Steven & Kati for making comfort food fun and good. Oh and I freaking love the Ruben's!

Food: was good but nothing special Decor: it was a small place but it felt warm and the kids got to draw on the tables cause the tables are covered in blackboard paint. Staff: good very warmly u order at the front counter and the hostess is also the one that brings u ur food u get ur own drinks.

Went here twice, and really didn't learn my lesson about portion control. They serve very big portions of mac and cheese. Very gooey and delicious but uber rich, so it's pretty hard for me to finish a plate. I do like their buffalo chicken mac and cheese, as it adds a bit of a textural contrast to just mac and cheese. Their fried mac and cheese is also super huge. It's a little greasy for me, but what did I really expect? Overall, good, but nothing too memorable. I heard leftovers from here heat back up really well though.

Purely visited this space by accident and I personally am glad that we did. We tried the kids Hot Dog N' Mac, the Loaded Potato Mac, the Cornflake Crusted Fried Chicken Breast All American Meal, Loaded Potato Fries, and a side salad. Let's start with the obvious that this a cab mecca so just smile and accept it! I was impressed with the three cheese sauce for the Mac N Cheese plates and also was intrigued by the plating of all the food. Everything was tasty and I think the flavors were all on point. This restaurant makes me think of a classically trained chef / owner who is looking to bring a little class and spin to the classic macaroni & cheese. The seating is limited but they do offer to go plates which appeared to be set up in a nicer to go than other places. Speaking of seating, the chalk painted tables are a novel idea which act like paper covered tables but I can see as more sustainable, economically and environmentally. The system is different from the standard restaurant too but it wasn't so weird just different. Ask the staff for help before venturing too far down the rabbit hole! Worth the stop for sure and kid friendly. The food came as prepared and was steady if not all at the same time. It did come a logical order. (Side Salad, Loaded Fries, kids Hot Dog Mac N' Cheese, Caesar salad - it was a part of the All American Meal, Loaded Potato Fries, and then the Fried Chicken Breast).

Turkey Chipotle Smash burger is fantastic!!!!! The mac and cheese is sub-par, which is odd seeing as it is their key menu item. Service is fantastic and prices are okay.

This was my first time here........ it might be my last. I ordered the Buffalo mac and was not impressed. The sauce was very loose, the macaroni was over cooked you can tell that they didn't season the pasta water. And it wasn't cheesy which is the whole purpose. It had chunks of breaded chicken in Buffalo sauce so that was okay. My husband had the chili mac same result the sauce was watery, pasta was flavor less and over cooked and not cheesy.......... I was hoping for more cheesy goodness...... I was disappointed

I work down the street from here and finally had a chance to go last night with a coworker. We were both really glad that we did! I got the Loaded Baked Potato Mac, which was their traditional mac topped with bacon, potato chunks, chives, cheddar, and a drizzle of sour cream. It was delicious! The mac was creamy and cheesy without being too salty or greasy. The toppings weren't overwhelming, and still let you taste the awesome underlying mac. My coworker got meatloaf mac with some kind of bold tomato sauce and olives added to it. She was very happy with it, too. The only thing I'd change was the bread. It was, as others have said, half of a hot dog bun grilled with butter on it. Come on folks- give us some real bread. At WinCo down the road you can get french rolls/bolillos for about 3/$1.

This place is a hidden little gem! My family LOVES this place. It is a very quaint, down to earth, easy going place .It has chalkboard tables for the kids to draw on, which was fun for all of us! This is not a formal sit down place. You place order at counter and they bring it out to you. All of the staff is super nice. I have never met an employee who wasnt super friendly and helpful. The menu is extensive and as the name suggests macaroni and cheese is their speciality but they have salads for the more health conscious and tons of of other options as well. My husband and son who are both very picky can find many options they love here. My husband raves about the chili mac. I personally thought I had died and gone to heaven when I tasted their loaded baked potato. My son and daughter like plain old mac. Their portions are great and the prices reasonable. We are big fans! We hope they will open a store in Tumwater closer to home. They also provide take out which is very convenient for a quick dinner at home when you are in a hurry. Don't miss this place - best mac in cheese in town!

I have been looking forward to going to this place since my 8 year old is a huge Mac 'n cheese fan. The place was small, but it had good ambiance. Both my kids loved the chalkboard tables to draw on. They both ordered the original or basic Mac n cheese. It had just an ok flavor. They like more of a cheesy taste and this was more bland than I expected it to be. I had some extras added to mine - I think it was the potato, bacon add ins and I also asked for broccoli. It had more flavor than the kids' meals, but still not a good, strong cheese flavor to it. We waited a little longer than I expected for just Mac n cheese, but I'll definitely give this place another try.

  • Matthew R.

The food is excellent. Buffalo Mac and cheese and the turkey meatloaf smash burgers are to die for. It's cool that they have chalk boards for there tables. The only thing to know is that it is a smaller place with limited seating. Sometimes you have to wait but it is well worth the wait. $2.00 bud lights too.

  • Tiffany W.

Went here for an early dinner last night and all I can say is DELICIOUS! My husband and I split the Loaded Baked Potato and we still brought home left overs. They also serve breakfast all day on Saturdays and Sundays so we got a stack if pancakes and they were pretty good. Not the most amazing pancake I've ever had but still hit the spot. My two year old had French toast that was really good and the kids meal french toast was a great value. We will definitely be back.

  • Grace P.

They give such huge portions, after eating and eating, it feels as if there was hardly a dent in the Mac N Cheese. The food is usually pretty good. The chalk boards are a plus. I've had a couple incidents but they were quick to fix it. Definitely a place to recommend.

    (4)
  • Nicole R.

I had the original man n cheese and wasn't a big fan of it. I liked the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly, but overall the food was lackluster and the price seemed a bit high for the quality and type of food.

  • Samra S.

I actually liked this place. Didn't expect to, but I did. MnM, I'm sorry I doubted you. First off, I should tell people that they serve a saucy style of mac n cheese. Not the drier, baked variety. And also, I can't even fathom people who claim Kraft out of the box would be better o_O Who are these people? And what horrors did they experience that burned off their taste buds? But moving on... I ordered the beef & lamb gyro mac with tzatziki sauce on top - very good. I would have liked it to be piping hot inside, but I suppose there are people out there who are daintier lipped and more litigious than myself. The other member of my party ordered the meatloaf mac. Also - really good. While I thought the food was good and portions EXTREMELY generous (likely too much so for a lactose intolerant person with poor decision making skills such as myself) it really is a once every 6 months restaurant. The food is SO rich and heavy that I don't think I can rationalize more frequent visits. That being said, I hope this place is around in 6 months so that I can visit again. So all you metabolically privileged people out there do your part to keep this place in business! ...I would like the opportunity to try my idea for the 'Create Your Own Mac' Cuban sandwich verson: ham, pickes, swiss and...(don't judge!) mustard! BTW, if it's terrible I won't blame the cook...

I never write reviews and had to sign up for Yelp just to write this. Absolutely, positively, disgusting. I'm not going to comment on the food other than there was a hair in my salad. The food is what it is and everyone has their own preference. The cleanliness of this place and the cooks are the problem. We made the mistake of sitting near the kitchen. I had the privilege of seeing the "cooks" butt crack and dirty underwear while I was trying to eat. I say "cook" because apparently he was washing dishes and cleaning tables in between making meals. I saw two cooks there and one leaving as we were arriving. Let's just say cleanliness is not on their list of priorities. Everything felt dirty and sticky. Never again. Ever! The only positive thing about this place, the reason for the one star, is the hostess. She was really nice and working hard.

    (1)
  • Kristen B.

Came here on recommendation of a friend- so glad we did! And just fyi- on the weekend they have breakfast food which is just as good as the mac and cheese. My husband had the biscuits and gravy, and the the gravy was the best I've tasted in awhile. I made my own mac and cheese with sausage and bacon, and it was so good it was ridiculous. My hubby ended up stealing a lot of it because he loved it as well. Highly recommend it any time of the day, and we will definitely be coming back!

If I could give this place a lower rating then 1 star I would! The husband and wife owers are absolute horrible business owners and I feel horrible for the young female employees they have working for them! The place makes absolutely no sence, you walk into the restaurant to a cash register where you are given a menu told to sit down and then get back up and go to the register when you want to order. Now please keep in mind this place is small. So after sitting down and deciding what we were going to eat I went to the counter paid and then sat back down. 20 mins later after getting our own drink and silverware our food finally came out. Lets start off with the "chilli cheese fries" ..IT'S NOT CHILLI....weird pizza sauce at best, truely wross. We also got mac n cheese deep fried balls, they were mediocre at best. OUR BURGERS WERE DISGUSTING AND NOT EDIBLE!! I will never waste money on this place again. The icing on the cake was watching the owner yell at his two young high school employees claiming they were messing up the kitchen as orders were coming out wrong, no one knows what order goes where , food is taking 20-25 mins per order and then disgusting food is presented and you also get to watch young kids trying to work a part time job practically being abused! Disgusting, literally the worst experience and food I've ever had!

I love the food here bit have had to call em out on what they charge vs what was actually rang up twice. This most recent experience involved ordering a beer with my lunch. Their cooler clearly reads $2 Buds. I ordered a bud and was charged 3.50 (the sticker on the bottle read $3.00). I'm not sure if this is due to an inexperienced staff or dirty pool, but alway check tour receipt.

Had lunch here on a Sunday. Ordered at their entrance, found that I wasn't quite able to customize my meal like they have on the board, not a big deal. The mud bug macaroni was a little bland for my personal tastes, ended up adding salt. I did enjoy the food, the server was quite attentive. Would I come back? Maybe for a lunch but I don't really see this as a dinner establishment. The noodles were a bit overcooked, like the other commenter had said. The sides seemed fine, just seemed like the mains were a bit overcooked.

Really love this little restaurant. The food is excellent. You really can't go wrong with any of their dishes. The menu is full of choices. Prices are reasonable. Give this restaurant a try.

The name does not do justice to the food ( we thought it would be greasy spoon truck stop food from the name). Excellent meals and service. Creative cooking at its finest. Reasonable prices. Should be featured on Food Network's Drive-Ins, Diners, and Dives. Well worth a visit.

Best find since moving to the area! My daughter and I brought my dad here for lunch after picking him up at the train station...he was "starving to death"! I asked the man at the counter if we could get an order of fries first so my dad could get something quick and he was happy to do that for us. For the rest of our meal I had the broccoli mac which was absolute cheesy heaven, my daughter had the ridge burger which was uniquely delicious and my dad had the grilled cheese which was gooey, hot and toasty! Oh and those fries that came out first...perfection! Hot, crispy, delicious French fries, yum! The man working was so friendly, he checked on us, chatted with us, laughed with us and brought us a carry out bag as if he'd read our minds! Customer service here is outstanding! This place is fantastic! Portions are huge, I had the rest of my mac for breakfast the next day! It heated up beautifully, I followed the instructions I was given before leaving! ;-) My daughter and I have already discussed what we're going to try at our next visit!

I had to try this place after all of the rave reviews from friends. I now question my friendship with these people. LOL I ordered the Original Mac and my husband ordered the WSU special to go and our bill came to $20. All I have to say is that if you're a macaroni restaurant, it'd better be damn good! I was pretty disappointed, so much so that I had to get it home and reseason it myself. It was just incredibly bland and the noodles were jelly-like. My husbands, on the other hand was salty! Mac n Cheese happens to be one of my favorite comfort foods, and after this experience it would be hard to get me to go back to this restaurant. I think this place has potential, just needs work.

We were a bit unsure of coming here due to the mediocre reviews, but we had a great dinner! The staff was attentive and extremely helpful, the place was clean, a bit small, but clean. The menu is a bit confusing, but the staff had amazing recommendations and were quite knowledgeable! Hubby had a JABLAM burger and it was fab! I had the chili cheese dog, and wow! It was a great dog, with all the condiments that you get to add yourself! The boy had the kids Mac n' Cheese and he really liked it, ate most of it, but wanted to save room for the ice cream sundae:) Good portions, great price, for the 3 of us with an app and drinks, it was less than the Golden Arches! For those of you with special needs kids, the noise isn't bad, the tables are chalkboards so the kids can draw, and it isn't too "busy" in decor.:)

Ok, I've tried the Mac a few times and I have to say it's World Class. Yesterday I tried some of the "More" based on what I had I'll be trying more MORE. I had the Turkey Smash Burger and the Apple Pie. The Burger has a wonderful balance of seasonings, Topped with some really good Bacon and some delicious condiments. The apple Pie was home made. The piece was huge. enough to two to share. But the seasonings made it amazingly good. It certainly exceeded my expectations. If you have had the Mac, You know it's a winner. Don't be afraid to try the MORE. You'll love it.

Meh! It was ok. Noodles were over cooked and the cheese sauce didn't have that much flavor. They have chalk so you can write/draw on the tables, cute idea but the cleaner they use to wipe off the tables has a really strong smell to it. It's not something you want to smell while eating.

GO HERE! WHY YOU SHOULD GO: 1. freshness (salad is not out of a bag) 2. food is made-to-order, but quick 3. portions are generous 4. price is reasonable 5. family-owned and very friendly 6. classic menu, but they also have creative options 7. kids will love this 8. there's nothing in Lacey like this, great concept, it is great as is, but can be improved in its creative menu options department. The classic options should stay the same. 9. Aren't you sick of teriyaki and burgers? MENU ITEMS TRIED: My friend loved her mac and cheese balls. I had the turkey meatloaf with a side of their mac. I really liked it. It isn't a BURSTING with flavor kind of mac, it's just a really great, DIRECT, mac 'n cheese with simple flavors and a really smooth and light-creamy sauce. A salt addict might have to add a little salt, though (I am not a salt addict, but I don't like bland, either)... The turkey meatloaf had great flavors, I just wish there was more of it. I ate it all. It came with "jammy onions" and those were really great. I reheated my mac leftovers the next day, no oil separation or anything from the mac 'n cheese. Really good as leftovers. We split a HALF cobb salad and that was enough (we had full entrees each). Ingredients were so fresh and I always appreciate when they wash and cut their own lettuce - made to order, not just sitting around! We also split a homemade peanut butter chocolate rice krispy treat and it was great. They heated it up for us so it was nice and gooey. OTHER PERKS: You can build your own mac, too, adding different "mix-in"s. They have some combos of their own and do a monthly special voted on by customers (last month was Mediterranean!). They also have fried chicken They have chalk top dining tables with a bin of chalk at the center with an eraser. Fun for kids. They also have a kids' menu. They also have a homemade apple pie that they make there. Everything is house-made, but not sure about the dressings.

Oh buffalo Mac n cheese, how I love you. Amazing Mac n cheese! Comfort food at its best! I took off a star because it is such a tiny little food place, and I even got my table stolen once. Yeah, it was THAT crowded. The prices are a little too high, but the portions are huge (that means leftovers!) and the breadsticks are to die for.

First thing we see as we enter the place is 2 people getting there money back for bad food. The owner was real nice and funded there money. I was so excited to go here, i love mac and cheese. went to there website and their pic of the mac and cheese looked so good. Not when i got it though. one small step up from kraft. Wont be back. 2 stars over one because the owner was cool.

Delicious. They need to deep-fry more stuff though. Okra. Pickles. Twinkies. You name it. Put that deep fryer to work!

Our first time trying this little gem. Everyone has a different idea of a great mac&cheese. Theirs is a little loose, the sauce simple, but tasty. Keep that in mind. Great variety. Decent prices, especially since there is a good amount of food in each serving. Great add-ins and completely family friendly. I know my boys will love it and beg to go back!

I've been a mac and cheese fan for most of my life, so when I found out about this place I knew I had bring the family to give it a try. We were not disappointed. I had the chili mac with cheese and tomato sauce, and it was some of the best mac I've ever eaten. My wife had a truly excellent corn flake crust fried chicken, and the kids liked their mac and cheese with hot dogs. And the ice cream sundaes included in the kid meals were the perfect size. While waiting for our food the kids loved that they could write directly on the table. Its obvious that a great deal of thought went into this all aspects of this restaurant, and as the parent of two young kids it is greatly appreciated. Portions, as other reviewers have mentioned, are substantial. I don't think I made it through half of my entree before calling it quits. I'm looking forward to finishing it sometime tomorrow, though I'm not sure I'll be able to in a single sitting. The kids have plenty of leftovers as well. Prices are completely reasonable, and service was fast and very friendly. I honestly can't think of a single bad thing to say about this place. I live 45 minutes away and you can bet I'll be coming out again in the near future. Now... I just need to convince them to open a restaurant up in Federal Way. Though I'm not sure if my waistline would appreciate that.

Wishing for that mysterious glowing orb in the sky to again appear and provide us with light and warmth? Suffer no longer. Macaroni, coated in a golden-sunbeam hued mix of cheeses and optional jalapeño mix-in offeres the heat and comfort you have been craving. You can almost feel the symptoms of your vitamin D deficiency beginning to wane as you savor every bite. Be sure to set the mood before your meal arrives by drawing an array of flowers, beach balls, birds, and sunbeams on the chalkboard tables. Your warmth is further enhanced by the satisfaction of supporting a small local business as you ponder how many months there are until June.

A whole joint for Mac n Cheese...fantastic. Very large menu with a lot of other options for those not wanting Mac. Plus, chalkboard tables... Who doesn't want to draw while u wait. Super friendly staff as well.

Cool concept for a quick bite to eat. I really wanted to enjoy it, but I walked away saying "meh". I ordered the turkey arbor smash burger. It was OK, it just tasted like it was missing something. I added salt and pepper...still something was lacking. The burger was bland. They need to add some seasoning to the meat. I'm not going to give up though. I plan on going back and trying a few other things.

My friends and I are absolutely addicted to this place. The mac and cheese is really yummy, my favorites are the chicken cordon bleu mac, and the meatloaf mac. They also have brain meltingly good buttermilk fried chicken. It's crisp on the outside and succulenty juicy on the inside. I have never been disappointed with their food and I'm a picky foodie. You should definitely try this restaurant.

5 stars for originality and 5 stars for small-business entrepreneurship. I love that we have another option in the area that isn't a cookie-cutter restaurant chain. I also like that the cuisine is a fresh change from the typical burgers / Mexican / Teriyaki scene. Just for fun , the tables are painted black and each table has its own chalk for doodling. NICE TOUCH. [ Note: one earlier reviewer said, "Don't wear dark clothes". Seriously? If you don't pick up the chalk and write on yourself I assure you -- you'll be JUST FINE. Jeesh.] Varied menu -- including meatloaf and a 'smash burger' which I can't wait to try. The MAC itself is tasty. SO many options! Big servings! It wasn't the completely-cheesy, crusty-baked top I would have expected; still, it was delicious. I'd like to at see about 5x more of the 'crusty flake topping" (more crunchy goodness on top please!) My boyfriend and I live nearby (we've each been here at least 2 times... but oddly not at the same time -- yet!) I hope this place makes it - it is GREAT to have options (especially when it comes to comfort food!)

I ordered the Buffalo Chicken w/Blue Cheese Mac. Was surprisingly good. I tried my boyfriend's Chili Mac which was OK. The garlic bread that came with it was delicious. It's a good place if you have kids since you can write with chalk on the black tables. And what kid doesn't love mac and cheese. The bad points are the parking is bad. Very limited and seating is limited also.

After searching the western US for classic macaroni and cheese made like my grandmother used to make, I have found it. I ordered the regular sized classic Mac and cheese, and received a double fat person portion (confirmed by my self described fat friend with me) of fantastic Mac n cheese, a slightly browned crust, and the perfect mix of cheese consistency, with the noodles covered in thin cheese, and the slightly thicker cheese holding it all together, and the thickest cheese making the fantastic topping. I have been told that the meat loaf is also quite fantastic. Don't spend too much time looking in the back, just enjoy the food. They do have daily specials, and it might have been a couple dollars more per plate than I would have expected.

3 stars. The guys turkey chipotle burger was really good. My buffalo Mac was good, but quite honestly, I can make better myself at home (and for much cheaper). The food is 4 stars, but I'm only giving it 3 overall. Why, you might ask? Well I'm subtracting 1 star for the hostesses attire. Waist up was fine. Waist down was not. When you are working with the public, you should not wear shorts so short that you can see most of the patching on the crotch of the tights you are wearing underneath. At least she was wearing tights I suppose? Still unprofessional. You work at a restaurant. Not a gentlemen's club.

3.5 stars. Why not 4? I guess after reading the reviews we were expecting more? Started with fried Mac n cheese balls. These get 4 stars! Yummmmm! BF had the Reuben and he loved it but, it was just a good Reuben. Turkey meatloaf, which I had, was over sauced and over cooked. I was overwhelmed by the sauce. Now the Mac n cheese. I had a side of the basic and it was tasty. Bf had the meatloaf Mac n cheese, his also good. Sadly both had noodles that were way over cooked. I mean really really over cooked . This is why I give only 3.5 stars. ( the cook should consider sending out his uniform for cleaning or use some bleach. Seeing a less than stark white attire is very unappetizing, just my opinion)

A co-worker recommended this place or I would've never known it existed. Not the easiest place to find, but probably because I live on the other side of Olympia. Anyhow, the cashier/hostess girl was polite and friendly. Seemed to be a lot of workers milling around. Maybe it was shift change, I don't know. I'm not a big fan of the owner walking by me and watching me eat. But at least he asked how we liked it. It was ok. We had the buffalo chicken and the crawfish mac & cheese. Neither of us really put a dent in it. Big servings and very rich. My crawfish verison was way to similiar to tuna casserole so I wasn't too excited by it. We also ordered the bacon mac & cheese bites. Now, we had just bought some mac & cheese bites from Cash & Carry to make at home and they were bite size and yummy. Even with just baking them, they had a good crunch to them. The ones at Mac & More are more like palm size and not what I'd categorize as a bite or even an appetizer. Sometimes bigger isn't better. I was expecting a deep fried crust on it. But whatever crust was on it fell away in complete sogginess. The bbq sauce to try to dip it in helped add flavor, but it was a mess to eat. I did better when I ate the leftovers cold the next morning. Still not much flavor. The restaurant itself felt dirty and sticky. The window sill was crumbling away due to water damage and overall it just fel like the place needed some love and deep cleaning. Overall, the food was ok. Was almost too rich to eat, but not a lot of spice or anything special. Now I can say been there, done that, please don't make me go back.

Super friendly service, casual dining or take-out, and make your own Mac menu. I had the traditional Mac in cheese which was made when i ordered it and Mae out piping hot, deliciously sprinkled with bread crumbs, and served with a side or garlic bread. The portion is huge! I was able to eat maybe half of it and took the test home. Pretty good Mac n Cheese for a small quick restaurant.

Fabulous place with delicious food. The tables were so much fun--with chalkboard paint and chalk to draw whatever you like while waiting for your scrumptious food. Check out the chalkboard for specials in addition to the regular menu. They have shakes although we were so full from the mac and cheese (I had buffalo chicken. My best friend had traditional) with garlic bread and sodas that there was no room for dessert. Highly recommend.

Really like their menu. Nice to find a little place like this. Since it just opened a few weeks ago I expect things to get better as they figure out what really works. The original Mac n cheese was good but actually better to me as reheated leftovers. My husband loved the fried Mac n cheese balls with cheese dipping sauce (since I wanted to live long enough to visit MnM again I didn't have any of that) and the meatloaf chili (spicy). Our second visit included a meatloaf sandwich. I'm a ML girl so I enjoyed it but would suggest a hardy sourdough instead of English muffin or maybe a choice of breads. They have homemade apple pie. Yum. And crayfish. It will take a while to work through the menu--we'll be back--a lot. Btw, fun tables--they're chalkboards w chalk and erasers in little holders on the tables. Good luck to the owners of this interesting little restaurant.

Spotted from road behind the chevron at the top Nisqually hill on Martin way. Order Mac and cheese with meatloaf. Not a kids mix really good full meal or side dish. Fresh made. Very tasty Menu is a wide variety of comfort foods as they say. Will return to try more on the menu. Nice ma and pa atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very clean

Some of the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had! The portions were huge and the price was small an amazing value especially if you have a large family. My wife was concerned about finding a diet friendly option to her surprise they had salads available and a low fat chicken sandwich. Our kids loved drawing on the chalkboard tables. I would highly recommend this restaurant for families. I wish this place was around during my college days it would have been nice to have after the bar's closed. I'm definitely going back....... Maybe tomorrow.

Yum! We've been here several times. The classic Mac n cheese is good, but even better with some onion, ham, or chili added to it! You can order combinations they's made or make your own customized mac n' cheese! The turkey meatloaf is excellent comfort food. 4 stars because I don't love the bread on the side or the salad.

I have known about this place for a while but never had a chance to go. I love Mac n Cheese, so one afternoon my wife and I decided to give a whirl. I like the atmosphere, the tables are chalk boards, which was different. Good for the kids. I ordered the meatloaf and mac. It came with a little side of warm pickled onion salad, which was very good. The mac was ok. The cheese wasn't what I though it would be, more creamy like stove top made. I was expecting more of a southern home cooking baked mac n cheese. But it wasn't bad. I will try to mix other items with the mac next time. The meatloaf on the other hand, not so great. It was almost like a bread consistency, and cut very thin. I think it is mixed to much. Overall i liked the atmosphere and will try something else on the menu next time. I have heard the breakfast menu is good.

First time. Small store front cafe. Tried their Meatloaf Smash Burger. Good flavor, served in a big English muffin bun. Great marinated "jammy onions". Side of good Mac n Cheese. Lots of versions of burgers, sandwiches and Mac n cheese. Gonna have to work my way though the options.

My macaroni dinner was awful. I took one bite and couldn't eat any more. Even my kids who love macaroni and cheese wouldn't eat theirs. Super bland. The "toast" on the side was one half of a hotdog bun. Definitely not worth $20 for the three of us.

Good portions and quick service. I was disappointed in the chili mac however, just tasted like a little burger and chili pepper sprinkled in it. I was hoping for a more chili presentation. Yet I guess it's called mac n cheese for a reason. Good place to take kids and let them have their mac n cheese while drawing pictures on the chalkboard tables. Not usually the kind of food I eat so I don't see going back but it was fun to try it out and the comfort food is good and reasonably priced.

After hearing about a restaurant serving homemade meatloaf and mac n cheese, I squealed! The waitress/busser/cash counter lady was nice enough and welcomed us to the restaurant. When I ordered the meatloaf with a side of mac n cheese, I had asked if they could throw some jalapenos and bacon in it. I was shocked when she said 'We don't do that for the side dishes.' Cmon - how much work would it have taken? I was more than willing to pay extra for the add-ins. And as a new restaurant, it seems to me that you would want to please your customers. That wasn't the case. My mother's salad was good except for the raw piece of chicken she found in it. My partner's fried chicken was 'OK' and the meatloaf I ordered was fair. It was covered, unfortunately, in some cheese sauce. The mac n cheese - plain (the kind I didn't want to begin with) was 'Meh.' The garlic bread was a heavily buttered half of a hotdog bun that was barely toasted. The place isn't horrible and food not bad, but nothing special.

Just ate here again the other day and had another delicious meal. Our third visit and again, we were not disappointed. Attentive, helpful staff and super food at reasonable prices. A bit out of the way, but so consistently good. Fresh and tasty. Not a place for a celebratory dinner, but such a nice change from our available basic "chain" restaurants. NO cookie cutter generic food here. TRY IT!

I tried this place out tonight. It was pretty good. I had the special - cordon bleu mac and cheese. It was pretty good, but a little rich for my taste. But the base recipe is rich and delicious. And I loved the ham they used - it made a nice smoky flavor for the mac and cheese. My kids liked the place and so did my husband. Prices are pretty low, so it's a good value for our family. Staff was very friendly. We'll be back.

This place is on the right track - the macaroni is excellent. Rich, heavy, huge portions of gooey, cheesy goodness. We could only eat half of each order. Our group tried the meatloaf mac with casserole sauce, the buffalo chicken mac and the ham mac with garlic & green onions and they were all very good. My son loved the fried mac-n-cheese balls. The bread they serve on the side is a real bummer, though. A buttered and grilled hoagy roll half just doesn't stand up to this mac. I would just skip the bread altogether and let the mac stand on it's own. The menu is suffering from a serious identity crisis - at 1:00 pm on a Sunday we were handed 2 menus, one for lunch and one for brunch, and also directed to a specials board on the wall. Pancakes, eggs, French toast, macaroni, meat loaf, milkshakes, desserts... it's just too much. I went in there planning to splurge and order macaroni, and I almost changed plans and ordered pancakes for brunch. I would have missed out on the stellar mac and might never have gone back. But I did order the mac, and I will definitely be back!

I was really pleased with this little place! I have pretty high expectations and I wasn't disappointed. THe Mac and Cheese is delightful. I found it packed with flavor and had just the right 'bite' to it. Both my kids devoured their food (very unusual). We'll be back!

Spoiler: I am a regular customer. This place is addictive, quick & consistently delivers a great product at a reasonable price. I have been here many times with different family members. They have a core menu, specials & they test drive new offerings. Great breakfasts & lunch/ dinners. The Reuben is excellent, my daughter LOVES their blueberry pancakes. Salads are fresh & generous with hand made dressings. Mac n cheese is their signature dish & excellent. Agree with all reviewrs who said it reheats well-true, even reheats after freezing! I saw a few pretty harsh criticisms about the Mac n cheese but I assume that is because they don't have much experience: This is REAL Mac n cheese, not the box variety! The wait staff have always been friendly and helpful. I have no idea why one strange person kvetched about seeing a waitperson's crotch. (Really? Why were they looking?) I have also had the cook here ask me how my meal was. He appeared to be sincere, not gruff. One reviewer said he wasn't used to the chef coming out & asking (maybe that reviewer has most of HIS experience eating out at drive thru's). This is a common practice in Europe & most upscale restaurants here in the US, so I did not mind. Love the chalk & tables-a great idea for adults & kids. Keep up the good work!

I've gotta be brutally honest. I wasn't happy about anything at the rest. The food was not good..honestly kraft out of the box is better. The mac and cheese was so bland, no flavor at all. My mother in law ordered a meat loaf sandwich, and it was nothing more than a sausage patty. I also found it really strange that I had to walk up to the counter to order. We sat down without seeing the sign, and waited for 20 minutes for service. Luckily we ordered before 4 other couples came in. We were the first table up front and were crowded with people waiting to order. When the cook brought our food, he was not friendly at all. Real gruff. My family and friends will not return.

My husband and I were tired of taking our two sons out to eat and spending $100. They are growing teenagers and eat a lot. We noticed this new place a month ago and finally remembered to try it for a Friday night. We started with the chipotle bacon mac n cheese balls. Perfect for four of us. We all thought they were delicious. The salads were good portions and very good. I love that they put pepperchini's in them. My husband, 14 year old and I ordered mac n cheese. I like the option of building our own dishes. All were delicious! My husband had crawfish in his and loved it. The buffalo chicken in my 14 year olds was delicious. I had bacon, jalapenos, and green onions. It had the right amount of all of them. At first glance they didn't look very cheesey but you have to stir it and it there's plenty. I personally think too much cheese is gross and who needs that many calories? Our 12 year old ordered one of the burgers and the taste of the burger and the mushrooms on it was great. We also loved how friendly the owners were. They are the type of people who own a small business and you want to support them. Our only critique was having some cold beer and were informed they are working on it which is usually the case of a new restaurant. Best part: spent $50 (this includes milkshakes for the kids). We were told they were the best milkshakes ever. The strawberry had fresh strawberries and they bring the extra in the canister so you get a lot for your money. Mac N' More is now a staple for our family spot. Lastly, the leftovers were delicious the next day! We all had some because of the large portions.

One of the guys at work is horribly addicted to this place and I've been there with him a couple times. I had a burger for the first time today and it was a good experience. The buns are like large english muffins which I liked. The patty was really good, looked hand made and the meat had a great flavor without being greasy. I had the Nisqually which comes with onions and avocado. It had a good sized pile of red onions, 4 large slices of avocado, 2 fresh tomato slices and a pile of fresh romaine lettuce. Really nice portions of good ingredients. The mac and cheese is not bad, I have not had a chance to try any of the add-ins yet but the plain has a good creamy texture. I am guessing they are using monterey jack cheese, possibly some white chedder but its definitely a mild cheese mix. I dont really go crazy over mac and cheese, it seems like something that should be a side dish more than a main course, but thats my opinion. Burgers are good enough to bring me back so I overall I would recommend the place.

With the wife and kids having already eaten and on their way back from the beach I decided to find a new place to eat without the distraction of the family. Upon doing a search for the local area I became aware of this new place, new to me even though it has been open since January. I ordered the buffalo mac and cheese, the mac n cheese balls, and a order of fries. The buffalo mac and cheese was delicious but lacked a moderate amount of buffalo chicken. The mac n cheese balls had soggy breading that fell apart upon touch. If these mac n cheese balls were made to be bite size then the soggy breading would only be judged on the taste and not the ability to eat them without a fork or making a mess. The fries were fried great but lacked any amount of salt. I'll try this place one more time before washing my hands of the place but I'm not expecting much since lessons learned from January to August evidently was ignored. One last comment, the place is a little difficult to find; however, there is no problem parking. There is plenty of spots in the lot or the adjacent lot to park.

Food is eh okay, weird way of ordering there, the kids meal came with ice cream the guy forgot to get it after asking for it twice! Took 15 min to get the smallest scoop of ice cream I've ever seen. The only cool thing was the chalkboard tables to keep kids occupied. Also very few tables. I might go back, but my husband was less impressed than I. And mac n cheese is my favorite food so I'm dissapointed it wasn't better :(

HASHTAG YUM. :) I read a lot of reviews and considered coming here on more than one occasion but it was a little out of range for me. But one day, about an hour before closing, I ordered a meal to go and I was impressed! Who would have known something as simple and Mac and cheese could taste so yummy?? Ordered the bacon Mac and cheese along with the Mac and cheese balls. Everything remained hot and crispy during the ride home and I was shocked to see how huge the portions were. I actually broke it down into 3 meals. It looks kid friendly but the space isn't that large. It was also a little hot in there, but then again, with this year's summer - everywhere is hot!

We came as a family after getting in traffic and were glad we stopped. We got two meals, the meatloaf and the chicken. Both were really good, but be warned the barbque sauce is spicy. One of the diners told us that the portions were large and they were correct. Two of the meals and an order of the loaded fries were more than enough for the four of us. Good food, excellent service and would definitely come back!

Wanted to just not cook last night so my wife and I decided to try a local dinner down the street. Boy were we surprise ! We were met at the front door by a very nice hostess named Stephanie. She told us to seat anywhere we wanted and then brought us our menu. It had a great variety of items but we had come in just to try the Mac and Cheese items. So We ordered a large house salad ( she said it was big enough for two and it was not just a bit of lettuce and a tomato but a varied of items. It was great and she was right ) . We order the meatloaf Mac and Cheese also to die for. As previous customers had said, it was so much it makes another meal for the next day Bud beer only $2.00 . Saturday they have all day breakfast, can not wait to try it: Prices were very reasonable and food was great. A+ Five star rating. And by the way Stephanie is by far one of the best hostess and very friends and if married to an Army infantry soldier, and new the area so welcome her to Lacey. When ordering for kids one order can feat at least two kids. Makes the bill even less.

Don't come here expecting Kraft-like Mac n cheese. We have eaten our fair share of Mac n cheese, due to having a toddler, to know that MOST restaurants serve Mac n cheese saucy. With that being said, we were satisfied with our choice. We ordered the loaded potato Mac and it was just heavenly. Some of the reviews on here pointed out that the cheese sauce was bland. Perhaps it was, due to preference and comparison to the yellow cheese Mac, but I thought it wasn't as empowering like the norm and was just the right amount of creamy cheesiness. This led to us being able to eat more Mac without feeling like we were going to overdose on cheese. The portion was EXTREMELY generous for the price. Just a little under $10 for a BIG plate of food. We had enough leftover for dinner and another lunch. The service was good. Food came within 10-15 minutes. The waitress was friendly and came to check up on us during our meal. They have a good selection of brews and handfuls of food choices on the menu, so I'll be taking my husband here the next time we are in the area to try new options.

On our way to The Forest from Seattle, we pulled off the freeway, got gas and ate here. It's in a strip center, and doesn't face the Main Street. Empty when we arrived. We ordered at the counter, and waited. The food was good and tasty. Portions were large for my group of ladies.

Came here for the first time with my hubby. He ordered the ridge burger, and I got the buffalo mac n cheese, with a side cobb salad. The side salad and mac n cheese were both really good!!!! They have so many different flavors of mac n cheese, plus you can even customize your own. I wasn't too impressed with the burger, but thought the fries that came with them were super bomb! I can't wait to come back!

Family owned hole in the wall, inspired by a restaurant way in New York in Lacy WA? Meatloaf and red sauce mixed in to already delicious mac n cheese? Yes please. So glad I was stuck in traffic. If I hadn't been pouting about the red sea of brake lights before me, I never would have seen the sign of Mac N More. It looked like pac man! So clever. Mom served 3 deployments in the military, Pop was in charge of multiple restaurants. Three kids went to college and helped with business plans and baked goods. These folks sure do know comfort food. Now if I could just make it home in time to hit the treadmill, I'll be ok.

The only reason for giving this place 4 & not 5 stars was because it was SO hot in here we couldn't enjoy our meal comfortably. The Mac was Absolutely amazing and the tables are an awesome idea (chalkboard with tons of chalk) to pass the time causally munching on your meal but was just too darn hot to relax in there. Think we'll wait til it gets cooler to go eat there again so we can eat outside if it's so warm in there again.

This place is pretty good! Steve was off on a trip to Hawaii so I got to "batch " for a few days. I planned to get a nice heaping helping of macaroni and cheese for supper. I ordered the veggie mac and cheese which had tomatoes, peppers and such. It was a wonderful meal for a very lazy "cook" and wound up being two meals with the portions I got!

Great place. Awesome food. Best for budget. The portions are large. Best sellers Buffalo and Loaded Baked Potato were a hit. My kids said the best mac and cheese ever. Two thumbs from my kids. Very courteous staff. Definitely a great place!!!!

You won't regret at least trying this place out. We got the fried mac n cheese balls appetizer and each our own custom mac and cheese! I also had a bottle of root beer which was delicious! I don't feel waiting will be a problem while chalk board tables are involved nor having a need to talk about something. I couldn't finish everything so I took a box home and it was still in good shape. I would definitely come back if this place wasn't so far from my house.

So it's not as good as homemade Mac, but having lived in the South for a few years we algae high expectations. The base is sharp and needs some salt and pepper and heck some nutmeg and dry mustard would make it mouthwatering. They use enough of your ingredient choice to pull it off. The Burgers are served on an English muffin, who chairs is odd. Staff is nice and friendly, but pace is kept pretty clean as well. The chalkboard tables are confusing because no one wants that dust in their food. Ok, I don't. Also, food comes out of the kitchen staggered so don't expect to eat all at once. One thing for larger parties. Largest table seats 4.

Been here a few times in the last few years and every time it has been better than the last. My most recent visit, tonight was great. Great service. We showed up a couple minutes before close and there were no issues like you normally get at other places. We tried to hurry anyways. My daughter who is quite possibly the pickiest person in the world loved the food and was eating with a fork and a spoon at the same time. We will be back. The chalk tables are a plus as well.

Oh my goodness. My boyfriend took me here after he forgot to put my mac n cheese that I had made in the fridge, causing it to go bad. Lol The ambience -- laid back, clean, fun. I could probably take a nap there. The tables are made of chalkboard, so you can doodle as you eat or while you are waiting for your food (MAYBE 10 minutes). The service -- there was no one there when we got there so our order was taken immediately. The guy who took our order was awesome! Very cool, total foodie just like my boyfriend and I. The food -- I got the original mac. EASILY the best mac I've ever had in my life. I highly suggest everyone to go there if you haven't yet. Such a brilliant idea.

I didn't realize there were so many variations of Mac N Cheese. I had the Buffalo Mac which was delicious. It's a great place for kids as my daughter loved drawing on the table with chalk provided by the restaurant. The wait staff was very friendly and I highly recommend this place! I will be back for sure.

This place use to be absolutely amazing. But now this place seems to be falling off the chart a little bit. I ordered fully loaded fries the 4 dollar one and I got about 11 fries not only that I got my main dish before I got my fries and I ordered a large broccoli and cheese. Every time I come in here the portions get smaller and prices go up. Not pleased with this place anymore

Awesome food. I can't give it 5 because I literally waited for 15 minutes on hold to order take out. They need more workers. I drove all the way here and now I'm still waiting.

I got mac and cheese balls, husband got chili mac, kid got pancakes with chocolate chips. All the food was great, the mac was so cheesy! me and hubby brought half our dinner home because it was so much food. All our food plus drinks came out to less than $25. Service was fast and friendly. Chalk board tables a plus! 10/10 we will be coming back Ps: order extra toast with your mac, it's really really good

My love affair with this place has dwindled. Found not just one strand of hair-- but two--- in my macncheese with broccoli. It's too bad because I barely had three tastes. Server apologized and refunded the order. Taste and service is still great but hair is a deal breaker for me. I have no intentions of returning.

We were just here and this is the best food ever! It started with the nice girl that served us she was so friendly. The food was piping hot deliciousness. Everything had great flavor and the fries were crispy. We had hand dipped milkshakes. They are old fashioned and great. This place was a wonderful find. We will be back every time we are in town for hockey.

Took the family here for the first time yesterday & the food was so delicious! Even our kids are wanting to know when we will be coming back. If they both like it that is amazing in itself. Both my husband and I had enough left over that we had it again for dinner. HUGE portions! Chatted with one of the owners & she is very friendly. Support local businesses & eat here. You won't be disappointed! Seriously yummy!

Portions. Are. Humongous. Great little shop with friendly service, very unique find not too far off the freeway. Tons of options, very customizable. I tried the buffalo mac with chicken -- it was well made, but didn't hit my yum button, so I'd try something else next time. Also tried their mac n cheese balls, which were good with the exception of the sauce they are served with -- it was very, very thin and next to tasteless. I would like to see them come up with something better for that in the future. Will be back, definitely recommend giving them a try!

It's a good place to have lunch, the food is good proportion and it's not too expensive either. They are very creative in creating different kind of Mac and cheese, I had buffalo chicken mac it's good, not too much chicken and the buffalo spices kind of over powering the cheese. But overall it's not a bad place to try their creations of Mac and cheese. The waiter is very friendly, you have to order directly to the cashier. If you're bored, you can draw your table with chalks provided.

Unfortunately I am updating my review to a not so good one. The second to last time I went there I got a to go order. I was told 10 min. So I came about 20 min later just in case. I get there and wait another 15 min. Finally I get my food and no apologies that it's late. Fine. It happens... I guess. Now today I come for pickup. I got the mudbug. It looked sloppy and my bread was cold and soggy. 4 bites in I see a long and curly hair in the Mac and cheese. My appetite is gone and so is my 14$. I know this happens but please wear hair nets. This wasn't just a tiny hair.

Food was awesome!!! I had Mac and cheese balls which were so crispy and delicious! We also had the buffalo Mac and cheese which was amazing, and definitely enough to share for us! Daughter loves the tables that you draw on!!! Definitely coming back for more!

    1. Delicious comfort food. The Mac and cheese was so delicious. 2. Chalkboard tables. Great for a fun and friendly atmosphere. 3. Great customer service.

Straightforward comfort food with nifty chalkboard tables if you eat-in. Unless you're sure of what you want, take recommendations from behind the counter. That's how I found Mudbug/add-on bacon/mix in hot sauce to taste. Pure bliss! Good bottled selection of craft beers. Only con was the cheese sticks. Seems like it'd be a no brainer, but they were some of the least flavorful I've ever had - and the marinara tasted odd (but the portion was huge).

I've been here a couple times and it's decent. The cheese they use is too rich. For a cheese lover I never thought I would say that I can't handle the cheese. It keeps me from being able to eat more than half of it. Other than that, they give you a pretty big portion. You'll definitely be full before you leave and will have enough to take your leftovers home. The customer service was great very friendly. Food wise it's okay. Kinda pricey. The hype keeps drawing me back to this place for some reason.

I can only comment on the take out, but oh.my .stars. Sooooooo good. We got buffalo chicken mac and classic mac, plus a Caesar salad. The buffalo mac was nothing short of life changing. I personally really liked the consistency, it was just the right amount of thick for me. I don't like runny mac n cheese so this was perfect for me, very creamy. We'll be back. A lot.

Mac n More doesn't just do great mac n cheese meals. As their name implies they also do so much more. Try the meatloaf sammies. Their loaded Mac will have you asking for a to go box and their original mac n cheese is sinfully creamy and rich. They do a unique flavor in and out style and have competing styles on occasion. (Huskies vs Cougs ATM ). Hurry on in, and waddle on out.

Great place. I live less than a mile from here and have for the past handful of years. I love walking here and grabbing a bite to eat. Amazing. Great food, great service, fun place. They even sell some beers here. Love it!

Horrible. The cashier could not handle the crying baby. My cousins baby cried because she cries when people leave the cashier said "I'm hoping the bread will keep her quiet". It is a place where kids can draw on the tables with chalk kids are going to cry. Not great to say. Two kids meals ordered that are supposed to come with sundaes and they did not give the desserts. We ordered the chipotle Mac and cheese balls and because the lady that made the comment was so concerned with getting out of there she did not even ring that up correctly. My Mac and cheese was soggy and my cousins was almost burnt. Would definitely rethink going here

Had the cornflake chicken strips appetizer, very good. Chicken was moist. Wife had baked potato Mac and said it was ok but not much potato. Main course for me was the patty melt. I would say ok at best, the jammy onions and bread covered up the beef. Even after removing the onion I still couldn't taste the burger. Food was hot when served, but quite the delay in between plates. Overall I say 3 for this visit, but since a friend gave such high praise will give another try.

Ate here for the first time a couple days ago. Food was good. Their Mac n' Cheese is a little runny, but still good (I usually like it more thick and creamy, but that's just personal preference). Friendly employees, cool little place. We went on a Friday night, so we had to wait for a table, it is a very small eat-in area. They also offer take out, in case you don't want to wait for a table.

Cute. My family loves this little nook. Coloring all over the tables is kind of where it's at, as far as my kids are concerned. The food is great and they have large portions.

Oh man! This place is SERIOUSLY deliciousville. For lunch our family of four had: 1 kids meal--hot dog Mac n cheese, best Mac n cheese I've had in a restaurant, ever. 1 kids meal--pancakes and bacon and fruit cup, pancakes SO soft and fluffy and delicious, bacon thick and yummy, fruit cup = perfectly in season strawberries with bananas. 1 steak and lamb gyro, fresh meats and veggies, yum! And 1 grilled Reuben also amazingly tasty. Fries were crisp outside soft inside, coleslaw was yum! Somehow this little spot gave us the highest quality/best tasting of each and every item that we've had in ages. A definite new fam favorite!

My husband and I went for the first time today and will definitely be back! The loaded potato fries were the best fries we've ever had and our Reuben sandwich, Mac n cheese and Mac n cheese balls were all so delicious. Plus the staff was great and the chalkboard tables are fun!
