I love this place. Been coming for years ever since I lived in Kirkland. Now I only get to stop by once a month. My fav sub is the Italian. Had one today & it hit the spot!

No other sandwich place like it. The Pizza Sub is my favorite, but unlike most places, they serve breakfast sandwiches, which are excellent. Their bread really makes the sandwich and crumbles delightfully when toasted.

  • Paul G.

This has become my local sub/salad place since moving to Kirkland last year. I like the Sarducci hot sub as well as the cold Italian sub and also get the house and antipasto salads often. The ingredients are very fresh here and they bake the bread and cookies in store.

  • Michael G.

My friend Jon down here has a good point. His sandwich was pretty squished. I have to admit, there's a person there that squishes the sandwiches, which is horrible. But everyone else is really good at making them. The best sandwiches to try are the hot ones, the meat tastes so fresh and it's just plain delicious. The great thing is that you might run into a Seahawks player since their training grounds is right down the road and they frequent that place a lot.

  • J J.

Not bad...really. The bread really is the downer here. Get the hot subs and you will hardly notice. Additionally, it bothers me that they chop all the ingredients on the counter without a cutting board....not that big of a deal but still. The ingredients are always fresh and the sandwiches are hearty definite pluses! Not my first choice in sandwiches but I will be back.

Wonderful and independently owned! Definitely choose to try Sarducci's over going to the nearby Quizno's. Get the toasted warm sandwiches on the homemade bread, it's the best. I'd go here for lunch over dinner, it's very casual, with limited seating and typically a bit of a wait during a rush. Overall a wonderful sandwich, sub, pizza, salad place!

just tried Sarducci's after seeing all the positive reviews and I am really glad I did. We tried the Sarducci Sub and the Meatball sub. I would say that the Meatball sub was very average but the Sarducci sub (with Mustard and Mayo) was a great. I think this will become a new staple in our weekend lunches.

In my search for a good sub in the area, this was one of my first stops. I looked to my fellow yelpers for suggestions and found this place. I was terribly disappointed. The service was mediocre at best, and the only thing fresh was the bread. Yes, they have fresh homemade bread. However, the mets taste like they've been out of the fridge for 2 days and the selection of everything besides vegetables is quite small. You could find a better selection and much better quality at your local SubWay, and I feel that speaks for itself.

  • J K.

I love Sarducci's hot sandwiches. I think it's been there for many years.

  • Megan G.

I lived a 5 minute walk from here for five years and never frequented. I move away and find myself craving it. This place is way better than the Quiznos across the street. It appears to be a independent family run business and the sandwiches are not only tasty but a good size for the value. If you want a calzone or hot sub--call ahead--they'll get it cooking. For me, it's a perfect Saturday lunch if I I find a bag of Tim's Cascade Salt and Vinegar chips to go with my 6 inch Turkey on wheat. I took away 1 star because it's time for some updated Seahawks decor. The framed pictures have turned yellow after a decade of sunlight and no...the tone isn't the glare from the tan in the Seagals photo.

i was there last week for a sub at this very ordinary looking place and i think it is really bad food compared to subway sandwiches and it looks really old and dirty will never go back again. I HOPE a subway opens in this area some day! I give two stars for their service.((

I've been coming here for about 14 years and I still love it. I try to go whenever I cross the pond to k-town. My favorite is the Turkey with Bacon, 2nd is the Hot Pastrami (but have them go easy on the hot mustard). Mmmmm.....

    (5)
  • sean o.

the best deli sandwich on the eastside. not a lot of ambiance, so you might want to pack a little picnic and head down to the lake.

forget chain restaurants for quality like this little mom n' pop sub shop. this is really just a little hole in the wall that you'd miss driving thru houghton if you didn't know any better. tucked away in a strip mall next to toshis teriyaki, this inconspicous shop serves up one hell of a sub sandwich. the signature 'sarducci sub' is a toasted marvel and is as close to heaven on a bun as you can get. tasty? sure. greasy? you betcha!!! its hard for me to resist blurting out passionately "sarducci sub!! 12 inch on white!", however i've been toning it down a little lately, opting for the turkey on wheat combo. the house salad is fresh, crisp and totally delicious. everything is fresh and i've never EVER had a problem with quality of product or service here. one of the benefits of having it be a family business i suppose :) i've only ever once eaten AT the place, sitting at a tiny table along the wall while the lunch rush skirted by. the walls are decorated with team photos of the seahawks and the seagals and smudges of sandwiches gone by. the place gets very busy mid-day and they'll have 3-4 sandwich makers on the line so you're never waiting long for your lunch, although landing a table might be a challenge if you plan on eating there.

  • Jesse B.

Great sandwiches here! It is nice to finally find a family owned sandwich shop in Kirkland. Sarducci's makes great sandwiches and all their ingredients are very fresh. Many people and famous athletes have been going here for years and it is evident why. It does close at 7pm, so it is not the best place for a late dinner or munchies.

    (4)
  • John S.

So I marked it as a Pizza place; but in reality the only thing I've had from them is their ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS meatball sub. They make their bread fresh, the components are assembled fresh in front of you, then they bake the whole thing open faced in the over. This is the BEST meatball sub around; bar none.

    (5)
  • T K.

The bread in this place sucks. I ordered tuna sandwich on wheat and was awful. The bread was thick and gooey. The tuna didn't taste fresh and was watery. YUCK! My husband ordered a turkey sandwich on white bread and was bland and tasteless. The white bread was not that nice either but was more edible that mine. Honestly I think Jimmy John's is better.

    (1)
  • Elbo W.

they make yummy subs for a reasonable price. it cures hunger in a tasty way, but has yet to dial into whatever it is that makes a sandwich truly epic. sometimes gets busy during lunch and not a huge sitting area. kind of a cheesy collection of seattle sports stuff to examine while waiting for your meal.

    (3)
  • Ebru Y.

Freshly baked bread, fresh ingredients, delicious meats...What else can you ask for in a sandwich? Sarducci's beats any name brand sandwich chain store. No matter what you try here, you will be satisfied. It's a family owned business and the owners are very nice, friendly people. They are so nice, they can even make you a custom made sandwich with your favorites!

  • Jessy M.

First time I came here was 10 years ago. And oh boy. Still tastes wonderful. There's just something about their bread that keeps me coming back. And I live about 20 minutes away. Bread is always fresh and also the cookies. But the cookies? Melts in your mouth. Soft baked and melts in my mouth, I always get 3. My favorite sub is the 12 inch turkey and roast beef, double meat, cheddar, on white bread with all the trimmings. If I'm feeling healthy, I'll do wheat bread, nonetheless same great taste. Each 6 inch are always individually wrapped. I like this place better than chain sub shops because it has the old school deli feel, the feels I get after coming him from school. But now I'm older, I get off work; and I get the same exact feeling. It's simple. And simple is good. I'm getting hungry again. It's that bread. Bread if life. Carb is life. Long live sarduccis.

  • Joann V.

As far as subs go, this is pretty standard. I got the blt. What i liked about it was that the bread was soft and chewy. The bacon was chewy as opposed to crunchy, which is also my preferred style. They could improve on the amount of bacon and lettuce ratio. Put 2 more strips of bacon and 2-3 leaves of lettuce. A puffy looking sub is more attractive than a flat one. With that said, their prices are relatively low for the kirkland area, so for $4.79, the blt isn't bad

    (3)
  • Yana V.

Why people would ever choose Jimmy Johns over this place is beyond me. Great subs for a great price. I love the Italian.

    (4)
  • John O.

Although Sarducci's Sub has been here in Houghton forever, and is close to me, I had never been before. Probably because its in a small unattractive strip mall that I never go to. Since my meatball sandwich hunt has heated up lately, I thought to give them a try, so I got one and an order of spaghetti with meatballs. The Sub was huge. The bread is freshly baked there and is very tasty. Twice as wide as Subway's, its very substantial. All the components of the sandwich was good, but the reason it fell short of great was that the bread got soggy from the marinara. Next time, I will ask them to make a meatball calzone. The spaghetti was tasty, and I would get it again.

  • Leo C.

Oh Sarducci's. I have a bit of a history with this spot! Been coming ever since being introduced years ago, and I love supporting the family owned local spot over the subways/quiznos that seem to be everywhere these days. Lots and lots of great options here, both hot and cold subs... but if its your first time, just get crazy and get the meatball sub. If you are crazy and hate meatballs, get the turkey bacon sub... very tasty!!! Homemade chocolate chip cookies are just sitting there challenging you at the end when you are about to pay, I challenge YOU not to buy one, or three. They are amazing. Fountain drinks are bottomless, always a plus, and the staff is young, but professional and responsive to all your odd sandwich requests!! This place USE to be a hawk player spot when the training facility was in Kirkland... miss seeing the guys there. :( Oh well, I'm sure renton has something cool to offer, or something.

    (4)
  • Sennet C.

I love Sarducci subs! They get 5 stars mostly for my favorite sub on their menu, the BBQ chicken. It's delicious and priced right.

    (5)
  • Dave F.

Best subs on the Eastside. The bread is not your usual sub bread; it's flatter and lighter. The spicy sausage is the best sausage sub in the greater Seattle area.

    (5)
  • Marcus N.

Had the Honolulu chicken sandwich. And only flaw is the pineapple is too juicy and they ran outta lemonade. Otherwise the pineapple juice was all over place but the bread was delicious!

    (4)
  • Jeff C.

O-VER-RATED. Got a 6" turkey and bacon. Yes bread is impressively large and fresh. Better than Subway but that's where it ends. Out of cheddar cheese. Very skimpy on Sauce and meat considering amount of bred. Meat is the thin slimey stuff like they use at subway. Not as many veggies as Subway. Forgot my bacon and then they put a whopping one slice of bacon on. Huh? Measly fountain drink and a mediocre 6" for $7.79? Lol. Next guy comes in wants the spicy sausage. Out of it till next week (it was a Monday.) Go figure. So hot inside I would have puked trying to eat in the 90 degree heat.

    (3)
  • Michael K.

My wife and I shared a pizza sub and a steak sub. Quality was not very good for any of the two. We didn't try custom made subs, which may be better. Although the staff was nice, we probably won't return.

    (2)
  • Tara A.

I like this place a lot. Used to go here all the time for lunch when I worked in the area. I recently went back because I just happened to be in the area. Had no idea if it was still open and was so excited that it was. The bread is fresh and delicious, so much better than other sub shops. I've only ever gotten a turkey sub because I'm one of those people that sticks to what I like. Delicious!

    (3)
  • Linna S.

Amazing!! My very first visit and very first bite had me thinking "I realllllly need to yelp & write a great review on this place as soon as I finish driving and eating." lol I couldn't fight the multi-tasking between operating my car and devouring the perfect sandwich. wellllll worth it. I have never had bread so moist, tasty and oven fresh. Most sandwich breads anywhere else taste either to plasticky (subway) or crunchy. This bread is like tasting a bit of heaven! A must try!!! If you are going to try this place, i strongly suggest eating this right away. This must only be eaten fresh otherwise you lose the perfect "oven fresh taste" Sarducci's hot sub is served to you in foil to seal and lock in the freshness. PERFECTION!!

    (5)
  • Jon F.

For what it is, Sarducci's does it best. Compare to Subway, Jimmy John's, Potbelly, etc. Sarducci's has the same (or better) price point, better bread, and pretty good quality meats and cheeses.

    (5)
  • Aprameya R.

This is a very very good sandwich place. (They sell more than just sandwiches but I've only ever had the sandwiches). The bread is very good and they put the veggies in the oven along with the sandwich which makes them doubly nice. The folks making the sandwich are quick and efficient. All in all a good quick sandwich grab.

    (4)
  • Jeremiah J.

I have been a customer of this sandwich shop for over 10 years and I will tell you that every visit has been 5 star! Best subs in town!!!

    (5)
  • Katy C.

I love this place the bread is so good. My fav is the steak sandwich they fry up the onions, peppers and steak right there and toast cheese over it! So good! If your in Kirkland you have got to try this place!

    (5)
  • Lauren D.

Amazing sandwiches! The bread is the best part, IMO. The 6" is good size with a snack, but if you're starving and want leftovers, the 12" is the perfect size.

    (5)
  • Mr T.

Subs in the place are great, and they are giant. Staff is super friendly. Should try the Italian Sausage sandwich.

    (4)
  • Stephanie C.

Best subs around, hands-down. This place blows Subway and Jimmy John's out of the water. They bake their own bread and it is always so soft and fresh. My favorite is the Meatball Sub - it is so filling and full of flavor. My fiancé is obsessed with the Honolulu Chicken Sub - it's not for me, but he swears by it. We literally can't drive by this place without stopping by because it's just.that.good!

    (5)
  • Logan L.

This used to be a Seahawks haven when it's HQ was nearby. Used to also be a great sandwich shop, its still ok but not as good. Bread is "homemade" and portions are big, but its a bit bland. Stopped in to get my old lunch favorite and while the old man at the register is the same, things are a bit worn down and hes not nice anymore. Quality has gone stale. I sat down to eat my sub and noticed they forgot to add lettuce to my sandwich, no big deal, i asked if the guy could add it and the owner/old man caught wind. He asked what was wrong and then noticed the bread was toasted. Apparently that's an upcharge??? Lettuce was added but he refused to give me back my sub until i paid the "toasted fee". I paid the 25-50cents and abruptly took my food to go.

    (3)
  • Scott H.

Yup, reviews are spot on. Bread is killer and a 6" is more than enough for lunch. Will go back when I'm in the area.

    (4)
  • Tina O.

Get the Sarducci sub - it's divine. The bread is a magic pillow holding the perfect combination of tasty ingredients. They also serve breakfast sandwiches, I'm putting that on my list of breakfast options.

    (5)
  • Katherine W.

Fresh bread & ingredients - if you want something more like pizza or a calzone you should call ahead as they take 20 minutes and this isn't really a sit down and wait restaurant. Staff is very friendly - wish the cookies had been made as they looked awesome. Wasn't blown away like I expected to be in reading the other reviews, but it's a good sandwich. Would be curious to try the other items with more time.

    (3)
  • Corinne P.

This was a pretty good sandwich shop. I had the spicy sausage sandwich and the other half got the meatball sub. Bread was amazing... soft... chewy.... just delicious. The sausage was yummy and good. No complaints... the sandwiches took awhile coming out.. but that's ok...

    (4)
  • Diane G.

Awesome sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Best bread ever!

    (5)
  • Milton J.

Went there 2 weeks ago while visiting a friend at work. WOW WOW-I would go back (3 bus-trip) for a repeat of the ham and cheese. I ate it in 2 parts, but there was very little break between them. It's so good you keep at it till it's gone. VERY fresh, VERY tasty, and a great staff. I got pretty much everything on it. I will go back within the month. Uniquely good!!

    (5)
  • Manuel W.

This place is the definition of 'gut bomb.' Delicious, flavorful subs with pillowy soft homemade bread. Went with 2 friends, I had the Sarducci's hot sub, friend 1 had Italian, friend 2 had the club. Late that night Friend 1 and I both had moderate to severe... well you know. Maybe stick with the club? Damn you Sardookie's! Not worth the pain.

    (2)
  • Won Sub Y.

I would give this place a 5 star just for their bread. For a sandwich place, they have the best bread I have ever had. I am extremely picky about sandwich bread and this place does not disappoint. However, their sandwich toppings are just plain and standard so I had to downgrade to a 4 star. However, me personally, I can overlook the plain cold cuts due to their bread but as someone who is giving a honest review, I would say that the sandwich overall is very good but not amazing due to their cold cuts.

    (4)
  • Kristin W.

I had a veggie sandwich. Pretty standard. Subway style set up. Fresh veggies. Friendly staff. Super quick even though it was busy. Cute little shop. Family owned and run. Boyfriend had the Sarducci's Sub. Hot sub. It was good. Bread is nice and soft. Decent prices.

  • Sequoya L.

Delicious! The bread is AMAZING and homemade. These are huge sandwiches that are full of flavor. It reminds me of the grinders on the east coast. Try the meatball sub... you won't be disappointed! The owner is also very nice and seems to be really good to his employees (which I always appreciate) and it shows - the service has always been top notch!

  • Kate G.

This was the very first place I stopped to eat at on my recent trip back home, if that tells you anything. My husband and both used to own condos near here and were frequent visitors. I can't believe their smaller subs are still under $5, because they're downright huge and more than enough for a big lunch. The larger size subs are still under $8 and my husband, who can out eat almost anyone, could not finish his. He could barely eat half of his second half. While I love the plain old turkey sub (order it hot, not cold as listed on the menu), the Sarducci is where it's at. A typical grinder, it features the usual variety of meats, provolone, oil, vinegar, veggies and mayo/mustard. The bread is what makes this place so amazing. It's baked fresh daily and you can buy loaves to take home too! The sandwiches are toasted and that makes the fresh bread really shine. I have never ever found another sandwich place that comes remotely close to this delicious bread. It's soft, thin but wide and manages to hold all the toppings without being too tall to take a bite of. They offer frequent buyer punch cards and have a few tables inside and out where you can eat your subs. Plenty of Hawks memorabilia on the walls, since this used to be a haunt of theirs before the training camp moved.

Good sandwitch for sure. I was digging it until I saw one of the sandwitch making guys, after cleaning the floor with a bloom and dustpan picking up trash by hand, took an order, grabbed a piece of bread, and started making the sandwitch WITHOUT changing his white rubber gloves. HEALTH HAZARD! What's the point of even wearing the disposable food handling rubber gloves if you don't dispose them after handling trash? Who knows how long he had the same gloves on and what he had touched? Would he keep them on when he goes to the bath room? Would he bother to get a new pair before going back to touch the food customers eat? Out of curiousty, I checked out the goverment resourse. info.kingcounty.gov/heal… They seem to have the history of sanitation issues. Too bad. The sandwitch was actually pretty good... Not worth the risk of food poisoning, though.

  • Long P.

My favorite sub place in Kirkland. The bread here is amazing. I always get the HONOLULU CHICKEN BREAST SUB.

    (4)
  • Samantha H.

I seriously love this place. Their bread is SO soft and delicious. I have had several different sandwiches from here, but typically stick with a turkey or turkey & bacon. My ONLY criticism would be that they should up the staff during more of the peak times.. I have been in around dinner time several times throughout the year and they never seem to have more than one person working. The staff is incredibly friendly though and always very grateful that customers don't mind waiting to order.

  • Alice L.

I thought this place was yum. I was looking for a sandwich place to quickly satisfy my hunger before going back to work with my ASD kids. It's a small place with friendly service. Its a pretty basic sub shop, but the bread is super soft and fluffy and you can smell the fluffiness-if that's truly possible. There was also a line during the lunch hour, so I took that as a good sign! I like a pretty generous amount of mayo on my bread and they did it right, and the veggies were fresh on my 6 inch sarducci sub that had salami and some other italian meats. Overall, it was satisfying and I was happy I found this place. I'll be making a trip back when I'm in a sub mood again!!

    (4)
  • Brian C.

Sarducci's is not bad. They have pretty good food. Its not the best you will ever have but if your on 70th and need a sandwich they are better than Jimmy John's or Subway by a ton. Is it the best sub shop in town? Maybe Kirkland but not in Seattle.

    (3)
  • Paul L.

Not all sandwich breads were created equal. This place doesn't have a huge selection of bread like your...let's say...Subway, but the bread that they do have is amazing! Their sausage + egg + cheese breakfast sandwich is amazing. I can't wait till I can sink my choppers into another one of these soon!

    (4)
  • Dan L.

    Best subs in town!

    (4)
  • Vlad K.

3 1/2 stars, it was a good sub, nothing really special. I had the Sarducci Hot Sub, ill have to go and try some of the calzones and others. But the sub was okay, worth a try.

    (3)
  • Andy c.

At work I always see people with tasty looking sandwiches and heard they were from a "Sarducci's" down the street. i decided to give it a shot. I tried the spicy sausage sub. It wasn't too bad but nothing special. Just a spicy Italian sausage chopped up and blanketed with maranara sauce between bread. I decided to give a cold sub a try and ordered the turkey bacon the next day. Wow I'm glad I didn't give up after one try. the meat was fresh, the mayo and mustard perfect and the onions, lettuce were fresh and crisp. The bread was moist and soft and everything combined to complete joy for my taste buds. Easily one of the best sub sandwiches I've had. The footlong was huge long as it was wide (twss) and it can induce a food coma. Service was fast, and the cashier was friendly both days. I'll definitely come for a cold sub again.

    (4)
  • Todd B.

Good hot subs, even based on my growing up on the Jersey shore, where sub shops and pizza joints excel. Soft, soft Italian bread, wide variety of hot and cold subs (had the meatball; should have had the sausage). Reasonable prices. Fun to watch hungover middle aged executives stumble in for their fix.

    (4)
  • Megan S.

Food: Bread is good. But that's it. I had their "Steak Sandwich." It was a Sloppy Joe. Seriously, it was cheap chopped up meat with onions and peppers in a marinara sauce. It was inedible, but I was trying to be polite since we ate in and I ate half of it. NEVER again. Service: Slow, but friendly. Ambiance: Typical sub shop.

    (1)
  • Ka T.

I haven't had any of their healthier subs... I've read the review about the terrible turkey and tuna sandwiches, and I probably won't disagree with their opinions, though I would say turkey and tuna is what I have in mind when it comes to subs. I was raised in the East Coast, and when it comes to hoagie, sub, sandwich, or whatever you call it, it has gotta be meaty, I mean, lots of it. Sarducci's, you make a meat lover happy. I would go out to say it is almost gourmet subs because of the levels of flavors of the meat with the veggies and balancing it out with the bread - though nothing fancy. It's just a hungry man's "shut up sub", as it satisfies the crying roars of his stomach. I'm a fan.

    (4)
  • Ruth G.

I went to the Sarducci's in U-district, and their food is always GREAT! I'm not 100% sure if they're owned by the same people, but I *think* so. Unfortunately, this location is just meeh(which is sad because I live so close). The first time I went in, I had some kind of barbeque chicken sub, I can't remember the exact name. I thought it was excellent, and would have given 4 stars based on my first time in. Since then, I have been in 2-3 times and gotten the same exact thing - but was disappointed because it did not taste nearly as good as the first time I had it. There wasn't much flavor and the meat was just...boring. The whole sandwich was boring without any great taste. I do like the bread, it's soft and fluffy, but that was the only redeeming quality of the whole sub. I doubt I'll go back.

    (2)
  • Michael F.

Locally owned. My second favorite sandwich place in washington next to a place up in Bellingham! Seahawks like it too!

    (5)
  • Jordan S.

Sarducci's. It's very... mediocre. Good thing is you'll never get a bad sandwich. They use decent bread, decent meats, and decent vegies. I like my sammiches piled high in vegetables and Sarducci's comes through there. They've got all the industry standards, peppers, onions etc etc. The reason to pick Sarducci's over the other chain sandwich places is that it's a local business. Suppost local business!

    (3)
  • Taylor C.

There's a lot to love about this place. Not the least of which is its affiliation with the Seahawks. Apparently players used to frequent the establishment before their training facility changed locations. There are signed pictures of former players all along one wall too. I can see why they made the trip: the footlongs are bigger than any other sandwich I've had, and they pile each one high with meat and toppings before putting it through a Quiznos style roaster. Definitely a fan

    (4)
  • Kayla H.

I am just a huge fan of their bread! It totally makes the sandwich because the meat I think is pretty mediocre and kind of processed. But they have been here forever and it's a local favorite.

    (4)
  • Steven S.

Moved from Michigan a while back and Sarducci's is the closest thing I've had to a good sub. I wouldn't drive 10 miles out of my way to eat here, but it is a lot better than the franchise sandwich places.

    (3)
  • Shep G.

I was in here last week, and they were very crowded....This place has been there for EVER! So if you are like me and keep driving by without checking them out....you are missing something! Fresh baked bread, great ingredients and super nice people running the place. This is a great alternative to Quiznos in the Houghton area. I'll have to try their pastas next and see if they are as good as the sandwiches. I'll have to check out the breakfast stuff too.....fresh bread for breakfast sounds great!

    (4)
  • Andy S.

I found out about this place about 3 years ago, and it's really good. I worked a few blocks away for years and tried it one day and loved it ever since. The white bread is awesome tastes really good every time. I always get the club so I don't know what the others taste like, I ate their for breakfast a few times and it was very very tasty. Always get the white bread it's one of my favorites and I've lived in a lot of cities in my life. Anyway I highly recommend this place, and let's face it subway is disgusting nowadays and support local small companies! Subways bread doesn't even come close.

    (5)
  • Karin S.

love the #3 special: Chicken Breast Club Sub

    (4)
  • Rick L.

Great sandwich shop that is run by really friendly people. The sandwiches are huge and a great value. Get the footlong club, it will cover lunch and dinner!

    (4)
  • Blair A.

easily my favorite sandwich shop. something about the bread being so dang wide and soft. I love it

    (5)
  • Adam P.

Recently visiting Jimmy John's for the first time made me think about sub sandwiches, and their receding place in my life. I used to enjoy a good sandwich all the time, but most of the time now my lunches consist of dinner leftovers from the previous night. Thinking of Sarducci's makes me want to reincorporate the venerable sandwich into my gastronomy. When I lived in Houghton, I would visit this place weekly, where the smell of their baked daily bread could be detected for blocks. Roughly phone book-shaped, the bread there is a departure from a standard sub roll configuration. This allows the meats to lay flat, whereas at most other sub shops where folded meats can sometimes slide out the back or sides upon biting. This is also handy if you like a lot of toppings, which a sub roll can rarely accommodate without slippage. As large as the bread is, it's also very airy. Condiments squeeze into every nook and cranny, much like butter on an english muffin, creating pockets of mayo or mustard that keep things interesting as you go. Complimenting their variety of meats and cheeses is a veritable salad bar of toppings, with fresh olives and mushrooms being some options among many. Count on the price to be a buck or more above a chain sub place, but that dollar is well spent on this locally owned business that does it right. My scale: 5 of 5 Stars - Would make a special, even long-distance trip to go here, and evangelize its greatness to others 4 of 5 Stars - A go-to option, even if there were other more convenient or less expensive options available 3 of 5 Stars - Inclined to give it another shot, just to see 2 of 5 Stars - Would not go back, once was enough 1 of 5 Stars - Would actively avoid, would recommend against going to others, experience filled with great sadness and regret

I tried this place on recommendation from a buddy of mine. He raved about this place and claimed that it had the best sammies this side of Lake Washington. With this glowing review I decided to make a stop for a Sunday afternoon lunch. My impression was this. The service wasn't really that great, the guy behind the counter kind of ignored me when I first walked in and didn't really say much after he finally started to make my sandwich. The food was decent but didn't blow my mind. I do have one tip though on ordering. These subs are enormous so unless you can really pack away the food, go for the smaller option. I can usually make quick work of a big sandwich but wasn't able to finish my sub here. Overall, the sandwich wasn't bad but wasn't great either. I'm hoping the lack of service was an isolated incident too. I'll try this place again but won't go out of my way to do so.

As a long time Kirkland resident, I can tell you that this place USED to be good. But now I think the new owners are just trying to ride on the coattails of that success. I had a Turkey & Bacon sandwich. My biggest gripe is that they gave me ONE slice of bacon. And i know this is NOT an isolated incident. Also, they don't use a cutting boards; they cut straight on the counter, which is unsanitary & weird.

Sarducci's is bomb! I usually get the Sarducci Sub toasted and is good til the very last bite. The bread is unbelievable - soft and when toasted it just melts. I haven't had any other options on the menu but they do offer pasta, calzones and salads on their menu.

This is our neighborhood favorite!! The fresh baked bread is amazing! I love the cold Italian sub and my fiance loves the hot Sarducci sub. All the ingredients are fresh, and food is made to order. The sandwiches are quite large, too. There is not much room to eat inside, but the sandwiches are worth the trip. It is nice to grab a few, and head down to the waterfront on a nice day. And don't forget to grab a cookie while you are in there... it is a nice ending to one of their meals!

I work right next to this place and visit almost once a week. Its always busy between noon and one but so is every place. The staff are very quick and get you in and out in no time. My favorite sandwich is the Italian on white bread. The bread is amazing, the meat is amazing....its all amazing. Hands down the best sub place I have ever eaten at. Very reasonably priced, for the sandwich, a drink and a bag of chips you will pay about $8 depending on which sandwich you choose. If you have never been its a must when you are in Kirkland!

The bread is pretty good and fresh. I had the steak sandwich, was a bit sloppy, the marinade was interesting...almost tasted like BBQ sauce. Doesnt come with any lettuce. Solid 3 stars - much better choice than the Quiznos across the street. Not as good as JJ or Other Coast Cafe in Ballard

Everyone needs to experience this place before their life is over. The Hawaiian specialty sub is to die for. Seriously..go to sarducci's. Regardless of how far you have to travel, sarducci's in kirkland is 100% worth it. I can eat a lot of food but I don't dare try and eat anything bigger than a 6 incher at this place. Enjoy!

love the bread at sarducci's! wide, fluffy white that squishes down nicely. definitely my favorite bread for subs in the area. sarducci's also uses good meats, cheeses and other misc ingredients -- fresh romaine lettuce, tomatos, etc. my favorite is the BLT, but the 'sarducci' is what they're known for... a tasty mix of italian sausage, mushroom, green pepper and onions. the owner and his wife were working the counter the most recent time i dropped in, and were very careful to thank each and every customer. i really like that kind of attitude, and plan to make Sarducci's a regular destination.

Went to Sarducci's on a recommendation from a friend and liked it. The bread is great, the meats and cheeses flavorful and everything tastes fresh. I liked that the sandwich, including the bread, tasted great when eating the leftovers from the fridge later on that night.

Sarducci's was suggested for lunch by some friends from work. I was disappointed with the lack of mean and abundance of lettuce between the smashed bread. Quizno's offers a large serving of meat with their subs, but not much in the way of vegetables. Where is the happy median? Sub bread should be fluffy and add to the sandwich experience, not a flat wrapping for the fillers. I may go here again to try their other menu items.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
