Food is good. Service is good. Offer free drink and egg drop soup with order. I've tried the chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu and egg roll. All were above average. The teryaki sauce is delicious as is he katsu sauce.

I'm sad I waited so long to try this place. I had a favorite spot on the other side of Kirkland, and didn't come into Ginger Teriyaki until living in this area for about 8 months. The food was great, and the service was excellent. Very friendly. We'll be back.

I order regular old chicken teriyaki as a baseline at any new teriyaki place. This place by far has the best chicken:rice:sauce ratio out of the five or so I've tried on the Eastside. Comes with two scoops of rice, not too much and a reasonable quantity for a hungry person. The chicken is tender and the sauce does not overwhelm. The sauce is more watery rather than "thick and sweet", which I really appreciated. The salad was pretty standard; as a bonus it didn't drip dressing into the rice because that came in its own little container. :) The place is tiny and dive-y looking, close to Juanita Beach Park, but don't be deceived by the exterior. Very clean inside. The woman at the counter was nice. Go here to get your teriyaki fix!

This is my second time at Ginger Teriyaki now. I've been to many different teriyaki places in the area, and this is by far the best. They are a few cents more than others, but well worth it. They offer free soup and can of soda with your food purchase. The lady at the counter is very friendly and the food is delicious! The chicken is cooked perfectly and flavorful. I highly recommend a stop at Ginger!

Great little place that's out of the way and has fantastic food. Good portions for the price. I always end up with left overs. Teriyaki is of course really great. After ribs are also really good. Fried rice is sub par but the owners Korean which is not they're specialty dish. Speaking of the owners, cutest little couple. Very nice. Also ask drinks are included with your meal. Definite plus.

I heart this place. Been going here for the last 5 years (since moving to Kirkland). I do 99% takeout as opposed to dining there.... The dining room itself isn't anything to rave about but it works. If you call ahead it's ready in about 10 minutes and it's super-fast. I don't eat teriyaki as much these days, as I'm trying to get my summer body. :) But whenever I am craving some good chicken teriyaki close-by, this is my number 1 go-to option. Young, one of the owners is incredibly nice and friendly and I can't say enough nice things about the service. 4 stars for the awesome food. Would go 5 if the actual establishment was better for dining in.

Good food. Great service! What a cute couple that run this place. They happily opened early for me. I had the chicken and gyoza lunch special for $7.99. Grilled teriyaki chicken breast (not too sweet), two rice balls, 4 piece gyoza, and salad. It comes with a free can of soda. This strip mall is run down but Ginger is very clean and well kept inside.

I do take out here at least once a week. The food is great and the service even better. Anna manages the front counter and I don't believe you could find a sweeter person to with. The prices are fair and you can customize your order. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is under new ownership and the teriyaki chicken is absolutely yummy . Generous portions and cooked just right, not overdone . The lady is very friendly and service is prompt. Place is clean . With your meal comes free pop, hot tea and hot soup. Good value and excellent food.

One of the best chicken yakisoba plates I've ever had. They asked if I wanted light or dark meat. White meat was brilliant. Great taste.

I'm a vegetarian so this review is just for the tofu teriyaki... Which is delicious! I really enjoy speaking with the lady there. Just moved to the area recently and this is probably the best teriyaki place around. The ambience is blah but the food and service is great!

Not impressed for the price. Same prices as Mongolian Grill down the street but smaller portions and food quality not as good. Salmon on the salmon plate was way overcooked. So dry! Flavor of the food was ok but I wasn't wowed. I suspect their specials are a better deal and they have some other items on the menu I would be willing to come back and try. Like the Udon.
