I finally got to try this place when I was waiting for the Kingston-Edmonds ferry. When you're used to grabbing something quick and fried, J'aime les Crepes Creperie is an absolute oasis. They have a plethora of savory and sweet crepes to choose from, which are fresh, well-sized, and reasonably prices. The shop is located in sight from the ferry terminal so nervous car drivers (like me) can keep an eye out the back door for the approaching ferry. I can only speak for the black forest ham and swiss, but it was wonderful, as are their shakes. A great, fast treat--far better than getting a snack or dinner on the ferry!

Hmm! God bless the standalone Creperie. Not something we get many of around here. I was able to get a couple chocolate based ones for breakfast while my car was in line for the ferry. I actually favor savory crepes, but I needed the sugar. Delicious.

best crepes ever... just try them

Good crepes. Goooood crepes. Bitchy staff. A little overpriced. But very good crepes. Mmm.

We love this place! The buckwheat batter for the savory crepes is wonderful, and the dessert crepes are also delicious! They entree crepes are substantial in size, and Sooo yummy!! I love the chicken with spinach, fresh garlic and lemon herb, but we also like the chicken with artichoke pesto. The Italian meatball is pretty good as well, and there's a black forest ham crepe that is also delicious. We live on the eastside and about every 3-4 months will get a hankering for these crepes and walk on the ferry just for lunch or dinner here! Delicious! Very small seating area inside (two 2-person tables) and several small tables outside. They also serve ice cream here. They charge a premium on the honey lavender and ?? ice creams. The honey lavender is good after the first couple of bites - you have to get over the "soapy" taste, and then it's refreshing and enjoyable.

Fun place for a date! Take the ferry and enjoy a crepe for breakfast or lunch. You can watch the crepes being made too... Crepes don't have to always be sweet - it's whatever you put on them. Try crepes with veggies and/or meat - it makes for a filling meal. They serve lattes and italian sodas too. Yum! The ordering area is standing room only, but there's a little side room with tables. Or if you're lucky and the weather is warm, eat at one of the outside tables. And practice speaking in French!

Very nice atmosphere, good service. Little seating indoors, but more tables outside with a whole bunch of potted flowers. My spinach/cheese/egg crepe was delicious, and then I went back for ice cream. Conveniently right off the ferry.

This place is awesome! I went there with my boyfriend and his friend the other day, the sole reason we took the Kingston ferry were for these crepes. I got the Apple Pie crepe w/ caramel, almonds, and cinnamon. It was decent, but wish the apples didn't have the skins on them. My boyfriend got the salmon and cream cheese, that was super good with green onions in it too. His friend got the Special, not sure of everything in it but there was meat, mustard, mushrooms and lettuce..mmmmm... nom nom nom. plus they make good coffee there too :) definitely worth the $7 walk on ferry ride to get there!

Best crepes ever. It's because of this place, whenever I try to take the Kingston-Edmonds ferry I don't really mind being late and having to wait for the next ferry. It's a great way to slow down, enjoy a delicious snack, and enjoy the views of the sound. Both their sweet and savory crepes are outstanding. Their crepes are always packed with ingredients. The prices are very reasonable too. Also, the north Kitsap kindness is an added bonus.

We skipped the Bainbridge ferry and went out of our way just to get these crepes. They're delicious! I couldn't believe how much Nutella was stuffed into mine. Too sweet, too rich, too bad we don't live closer...

Located in downtown Kingston, J'aime les Crepes Creperie offers a wide variety of crepes sure to satisfy any palate --- from savory, such as the Italian Crepe with pesto, tomatoes, and provolone, to sweet, as in the Belgian Chocolate topped with a choice of whipped cream or ice cream. In addition to crepes; They serve espressos, ice cream, and Italian sodas. One of the only few creperies west of Seattle, and that the batter they use to make their scrumptious crepes in Kingston is the same that creperies use in Paris. The owners claim it...Try it, and you will sure be amazed!! My 3 Favorite Crepes: --Strawberry & Banana with Belgian Chocolate topped with Whipped Cream. --Salmon & Cream Cheese Crepe --Herb Chicken with extra Garlic Flavor Every time I Take the Kingston/Edmonds Ferry Its required of me to Stop and Enduldge one of the Joys from Paris @ J'aime les Crepes Creperie. Sometimes I want to miss my Ferry just to Have some extra time to Unwind....Enjoy the Goodness.. =P

Oh my god! Best crepes ever!! A large variety of savory and sweet crepes. I went with a group, we tried the chocolate banana crepe (delicious, but REALLY rich), the Le Magnifique (yummy veggie crepe, delicious!) and the lavender crepe (very simple, but DELISH!). Highly recommend this place, very scenic on the shores of Kingston.

Omg. After a long gay ferry ride, this makes up for it by ten folds! The selection is wide, and theres always a little line of overly-anxious people. ....I miss WA becuase of places like these :)

Seriously can this place get any better? While waiting in the ferry line run over here and get a HUGE $7 crepe! You can even get it just cut in half and split it. I got the veggie and it was amazing!! Its simply a little light meal in your hands that tastes so so goood! Can not say better things!

What do you do when you have to admit to your significant other that you were wrong and you couldn't get him home in time for work because you missed the ferry by 10minutes? You hope that the hour long wait is full of surprises and some great "kissing up". Well, once we parked in the ferry lane and walked to the one block of stores and restaurants, there were many surprises. There was a homemade ice creamery that was closed, a bar with very obnoxious people singing very old karaoke songs from the 40s to the 70s, and a smell that draws you in like a zombie smelling live human flesh. What would you choose? We happened upon this creperie with the sweet vanilla aroma of the crepe batter cooking. The menu is very diverse and innovative, offering both savory and sweet crepes as well as some great tasting coffee (um can I have the nutella latte for $2.99)!!! They also serve ice cream. After perusing the menu, I opted for the chocolate-banana crepe with toasted almonds and whipped cream. For just $6.99, I received one of the largest crepes in history for a an awesome price. It could have fed 3 people. You can even watch the employee make the crepe in front of you. And believe me, I did. Lots of Guittard Chocolate shavings melted in my crepe with sliced bananas. So gooey, so yummy, and so warm. It gave me the warm fuzzys. My boyfriend had the Chocolate and Coconut Crepe with Toasted almonds. MMMM!! Just like some almond joy and also for $6.99. What a sweet surprise and find while waiting for this ferry of ours!! It is no joke that this creperie was voted the best in Western Washington on King 5 news. This place is an absolute must when taking the Kingston-Edmonds Ferry.

With two hours to kill before the ferry left, there was plenty of time to try out both the savory and sweet crepe varieties. Unlike many other crepe stands, J'aime changes the crepe recipe itself for savory vs. sweet and it's much appreciated. The wheaty savory version is much more appropriate for what I had, the Italian - perfect with pesto, mozarella and pine nuts. I recommend adding meat. Coming back, they stayed open an hour later than closing to accommodate the long line snaking out the door.

Yum. Had a ferry delay and stopped by for a Hawaiian crape. Delish and the girls are so sweet. These are giant Crepes btw. If I lived in the area I'd check out the dessert crapes next.

What a treat! Having sailed into the marina in this little town, we expected to find a place or two to eat -- and there is a bar, a snack stand, a brew pub. But the location we went to THREE TIMES in the short weekend was J'aime les Crepes! The little shop is adorable, and you know exactly what goes into your meal as you watch them do it right in front of you. Two batters -- sweet and savory -- and an impressive selection of creations have something to please whether you want breakfast, dinner, or something sweet. The staff are efficient and friendly, and if you are lucky you may be served by Paul, the other, who loves to talk about this passion of his! Ingredients are FRESH, service is FAST (but you do have to understand these are made right then and there as you order) and the prices are reasonable. YUM!

Great, but very small crepe shop in Kingston. With the loss of the Kingston Inn, one might think there isn't much to eat near the ferry, but that's not true. J'aime les Crepes Creperie is conveniently located adjacent to the holding lanes for the Washington State Ferry Kingston to Edmonds run in a cut, little shop right on the corner. There are a few tables outside, weather permitting. This place came highly recommended by my cousin K. who raved about both the sweet, and savory crepes they had to offer. On her suggestion, I decided to give it a shot and ordered a Belgian Chocolate one AND a Italian w/pesto (no meat). I got them "to go" but they are best eaten semi-immediately I discovered -- they get messy and don't look as pretty. I gotta admit, it's fun watching them make crepe on that big wheel thingy. If you're in town, you should give this place a shot. Crepes not your thing? (They weren't mine either, but I won't pressure you!) They also offer espresso and Italian sodas and stuff.

I always get the grilled chicken and almonds crepe. It is fantastic! you get to see the food being made too, which is cool. I'll be back!

Eating oppportunites in Kingston near the ferries is limited. You have - a hot dog stand. Vending machines. A couple small fry shops, and the coffee shops that Washington State Law mandates is every .75 blocks or less. Which is why one's mind doesn't run to crepes. Yes, crepes. While your car is parked, (or if you came over as a pedrestrian to explore the urban paradise that is Kingston), go get yourself a crepe. The batter is claimed to be exactly the same as in France, a mix of wheat and buckwheat. You can get them sweet or savory. Mine was a savory crepe filled with swiss cheese, egg, mushrooms, and garlic. Very good, hot, and filling. Next time I'll try a sweet one. So, you have 30 minutes waiting for the ferry? Treat yourself to a bit of France.

  • Michelle L.

I have eaten here a few times....this last time was a couple of months ago...I don't know if the girls were tired, or just didn't care..but well, by crepe, just wasn't up to par. I was good, but they handed it to me with wrapping the end up, and the filling just flew everywhere, and they really didn't seem to care. Most people that eat here are waiting to catch the ferry, they don't make it easy for you to carry the food back to the car. I had two crepes and two bottles of pop, and they handed everything to me...with the fillings falling out..and just looked at me, and said see ya. So, with that I am taking a star away...like I said I have been there a few times, and have never had this problem, so I am hoping it was just one of those days.

Go ahead, treat yourself for a sweet (or savory?) crepe at J'aime while you are waiting for your ferry. They have a nice variety of different fillings (anything from salmon and chicken to nutella, bananas, apples, chocolate, jam and cinnamon) and their crepes are excellent. Plus they have ice cream, and they have coffee. Pretty impressive quality and selection for a tiny hole in the wall, and an excellent way to kill some time before crossing back to Edmonds.

"Crêpes made faster than the 4:55 PM ferry can dock." This is a place where savory or sweet crêpes are served at lightning speed. I missed the ferry back to Edmonds and found myself venturing outside of my vehicle in search of a quick snack. J'aime Les Crêpes was the first shop I saw upon leaving the Kingston dock. There was a line stretching out of the shop and the smell of crêpes and chocolate was hypnotic. In all honesty, there was some panic and fear that the wait time may cause me to miss my next ferry ride. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the line disappeared. The shop itself is not huge . I would say about 1/2 of the space is the kitchen. There are 2 tables located indoors and an outside seating area. Menu items definitely caused me to double think my order. The massive amounts of options from both savory and sweet was overwhelming. I opted for the Caramel, pecans, dark chocolate, and whipped cream crêpe. The crêpe was deliciously sinful. Layers of caramel, pecans, and chocolate delivered a sweet sensation to my palette. The service was top notch. I watched my crêpe being made and the staff acknowledged the ferry times and acted with urgency. They also offer ice cream sundaes, cones, shakes, and coffee drinks. This marks one of the few times I am glad I missed the ferry.

This is an awesome place right next to the ferry terminal. We parked our car walked over gat hot and tasty crepes and could walk back in 10 minutes. The prices are great and they have a lot of options for both veggie and meat lovers. We had a Mediterranean and a sweet crepe and even my 17 month old loved them.

Such a fun little spot! Found online and made sure to include in our first ferry venture, was very glad I did. Fantastic variety meant there was something for everyone in our group of 5. Between us, we had crepes, coffee and ice cream. We took our treats back with us on the ferry and there in lies my only suggestion - "to go" containers would be very helpful as opposed to the paper plate provided. Granted, we were given an extra plate to use as a top, which was kind and thoughtful, but not the same. Walking with the delicacy in hand, surrounded by seagulls that seem to sense your unease and the possibility that your crepe may just become their crepe, the small distance to the safety of the boat seems a lot further off. All in all, we ultimately made the voyage with crepes unharmed, until we devoured them.

Great crepes! Nice and easy location from the ferry. We had two for lunch arriving in Kingston and liked it so much we bought two more for the ride home!

Cute little place right next to the ferry terminal. It's very small with a small section with a couple of tables. It's very convenient when you want a quick snack while waiting for the ferry. When I ordered I thought, of great, another crepe places that charges too much for a very small serving. For about $7.50 (Maui Mac Nutella crepe) you get a large crepe. It's cut in two and it can feed two people easily. Actually my husband and I could barely finish it. I would love to try some of the others'. Maybe on my next ferry crossing!

  • Timothy R.

Pretty sure those were the best crepes ever. Will definitely make the trip here again.

  • Maki S.

I'm only giving this 4 stars, because the fruits are frozen (and microwaved prior to being put in the crepes). Otherwise, the process of watching crepes being created is mesmerizing. With combinations like bananas and chocolate or lemon and blueberries, its hard to say your sweet tooth won't be satisfied. They also feature other flavors like salmon with chives and cheese. I prefer the dessert crepes :) They also have Italian soda, hot and iced tea. It was a tasty end to a date.

We go every Saturday morning and get the chicken supreme crêpe - grilled chicken, spinach, almonds, provolone and artichoke pesto. So good! It keeps us full all day. My husband usually gets a Carmelo latte, but I dont care for their coffee. It has a acidic sour after taste to me... But hey, I don't go there for the coffee so it doesn't matter! Love the crêpes there!

We've been coming here for years and years. I don't know what I can add, except that this place is so very very good. It's super fresh (you watch them make the crepes from scratch) and super yummy. If you like food that is fresh and tasty, this is the best value in Kingston. It's also the best "fast" food within a quick walk from the ferry. Some useful information: they do make the crepes really quickly, but there is only one person making them (on two burners) at a time. If you tell them you are waiting for a ferry they will try to get your order to you in time, but if the line is 10 people out the door and your ferry is boarding in five minutes you're probably not going to make it. And this place is, of course, most packed right before sailing times since that's when everyone is out looking for something to eat, particularly on weekends in the summer. Edited to add: I am super stingy with stars, and this is the only restaurant in Kingston that I'm giving 5 stars. It gets that rating because it really is good food for the price. However, the best food in Kingston, hands down, is at Mossback, which I will give only four stars when I review them (for reasons I'll discuss in that review). Mossback is much pricier, however, so if you're looking for something fresh and tasty that isn't too expensive, J'aime Les Crepes is the place for you. My daughter wants to add her review: You should probably know that I'm a VERY picky person, and so all that I eat is plain crepes, the crepe itself is very good. It is nice for cool mornings, because it is nice and warm.

Savory and sweet delights! What a treat when waiting hours for a ferry. The savory pizzas have great herbs and delicious combos. I have also come here for a "destination" dinner - not even waiting for a ferry, just wanting a good lunch or dinner.

Starting with the great smells as you walk up to this small shop is a GOOD thing. You know you are in for a treat. The menu is good sized with lots of options. My choice the grilled chicken supreme. It was a delicious with artichoke pesto. Very tasty. The tiny shop could use more seating. Although room might be an issue. Still yummy a place to return to whether by boat or by ferry

This quaint little corner restaurant provided excellent service, had an incredibly friendly staff, played great jazz music and most importantly, the crepes were delicious! Seeing the food prepared right in front of you adds to the experience. There's a handful of outdoor covered tables and even an attached romantic little room with two tables for two. Specially, I had "The Special" and I was savory indeed. The food was so good I went back in and ordered a sweet crepe for desert, the "Blueberry, Brown Sugar & Butter" A La Mode, and I was not disappointed. Highly recommended.

This was a random stop that triggered us towards the crepes through the warm, sweet scent of crepes. The menu had a lot of variety. I had strawberries with dark chocolate. It was a good Amazing! Quantity was amazing. I would like to try the apple with cinnamon next time. The staff was super nice and genuine.

I LOVE J'AIME LES CREPES. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED J'AIME LES CREPES. & as long as my family has ties (which will be for eternity) in Kingston, we will continuously visit J'aime Les Crepes several times of year when we visit grandma-in-law. The ferry ride is always so peaceful from Edmonds, and there's no need to drive on the ferry if you're specifically going for J'aime Les Crepes. It's hard to miss as you walk away from Port of Kingston. :) I'll be honest and when I come here, I order one sweet and one savory crepe because that makes a complete meal in fabulous downtown Kingston. The crepes are quality and impressive for a small town creperie. I wish there was more seating area because it is shameful to be holding a delicious crepe and have nowhere to sit and eat it. But I don't hold that against them because we can always walk to grandma-in-law's house. Seriously though, go here!

  • Cathy W.

Superb Crepes! We finally got to try this place after my 3rd visit to Kingston. First, we tried the Chicken,Spinach and Provolone with lemon herb vinaigrette and toasted almonds which is very tasty and refreshing. Then we tried the Banana Nutella crepes which is to die for and made our mouths happy! Lastly, we tried the Blueberry Crepes with Vanilla ice cream- so yummy and the berries are very sweet! I'm so glad my cousin insisted that we give this place a try. We will definitely come back when we're in town.

This is a must stop on your way back or on your way to the Olympic Peninsula. Situated near the ferry terminal this place has: - Quick service - Excellent Crepes - Inexpensive - Filling I am not much of a dessert eater so I cannot comment on the sweet crepes. Of the savoury ones, if I had to pick, I'd pick the mediterranean one.

This is a perfect place to stop and grab a quick bite to eat while waiting for the ferry! It is delicious and quick and the ingredients are fresh. You can watch them make it right there. Not much seating but it's okay because you can eat while you walk around or sit in your car. They also had a great selection of sweet and savory crepes as well as vegetarian options. My husband loved his Italian crepe and the pesto was really good. I had the vegi crepe which was both tasty and filling. Great homemade tasting pesto. The prices are reasonable too because you really get quite a lot of food. I had one for lunch and was not hungry at all afterwards. I would highly recommend this spot! We will definitely be coming back.

LOVE this place! Never had a bad anything here! Nice walk and sit out by the ferry park for a delightful summer or brisk winter stroll. My favorite is the Chicken with artichoke. Yummy Yummy. Worth the ferry ride to Kingston, and while you are here walk up the street and enjoy this wonderful small town.

Sometimes to mix it up, instead of taking the Bremerton/Seattle ferry, we go wild and will take the Kingston/Edmonds route. I know better and get there a lot early, for sometimes lately, the boats break. One day we had the time and Mr. B and I checked this place out. I'm more of a savory fan, he more desert fan. Very good with fresh ingredients and pretty huge portions. Mr. B was impressed with the apples and honey. My mouth is watering just thinking of a crepe.

Best crepes I've had here in the sound. Why? - Most bang for your buck. - Fresh, tasty ingredients. - Made right before your eyes. - Huge selection of both sweet and savory crepes and they are filled to the brim. Haven't had a crepe here that didn't leave me feeling stuffed.

  • Kerri J.

I always look forward to stopping by this place when I take the ferry. It's pretty popular, and really tiny, but they make the crepes pretty quick. The people working are pretty friendly, and the prices are fair. One crepe easily feeds two people. They'll let you customize the crepes off of the menu a bit too. The last time I went I got strawberry, Nutella and almonds. They didn't skimp on the Nutella or almonds which was really nice. I also got a peach Italian soda which was delicious. All together came to 11 bucks, which isn't bad at all for feeding my friend and I. I've had one of their savory crepes before, and it was really good as well. I think it was like a chicken Caesar crepe but I'm not 100% sure. There's no seating inside (barely any room for more than a couple people standing), but likely you're here for the ferry so you probably have a car to sit in or something. All in all, great place to stop in and grab a bite, I definitely recommend it.

:) I love this little tiny shop. They use fresh ingredients and make your food as you watch. They have both sweet and savory flavors and I always look forward to stopping by when I take the ferry.YUM

Wonderful ladies up front. Pfft---I totally forgot what coffee (or chai, if they had it) I had. Although, what I had was great and the Canadian was gosh darn good... they had more crepes I totally wanted to try (like the one with garlic!)... If it's not crowded in this cramped piece de France, situate yourself in the small enclosed room with French soundtrack stuff, warm air and au naturale artwork. Merci beaucoup, madames!

  • Veda W.

Great crepe! I had the pesto, provolone, ham, tomato and pine-nut. It was cooked to perfection and I was pleasantly surprised. Only $7.00. It is a tiny little joint with only two crepe makers. They have it down to a science but you still may have to wait awhile.

    (4)
  • Shayni S.

I LOVE these crepes! The artichoke sauce is amazing and makes the savory crepes truly tasty. Each crepe is gigantic, but trust me, you will end up devouring the whole thing. Even my very picky and skinny 2 year old eats an entire smoked salmon crepe by herself. On the sweet side of things, these guys love Nutella. Like a lot. Who doesn't??? The Maui Mac Nutella is a must try. Also you can add a scoop of locally made ice cream for just $1 to the top of any sweet crepe. Yum! The girls working are always very nice and professional. It gets super busy sometimes, but it is always worth the wait!

  • Marinna C.

Dang. I waited forever to get a crepe. You have probably been in this experience too. But boy did I get a crepe. First time I ever got a savory crepe (usually go for the sweet ones) and I was massively surprised. They are huge. And delicious. And worth every cent. They are splitting size, seriously. Props to the workers who keep on going.

Love their savory crepes. Whenever I ride the ferry, my first thought is that I'll be able to get a crepe here. Delish.

  • Katie H.

I've been coming here for 10 years or more and have never been disappointed! All the crêpes are delicious, the ladies making them are efficient and helpful with ingredient substitutes and variations, and are known for always looking cute! This cute Paris-nostalgic crêperie is currently up for 1st place on King 5's best (crêpes) of Western Washington. You only have to taste them to see why. Better than street crêpes in Paris... Just as good as those in Nantes. Enough said?

"Yey! I'm a fan." What does that mean? It means that I live in Edmonds, but sometimes, just for the heck of it, I hop the ferry to Kingston to enjoy a crepe and then head back. Seems silly, but it is one of my favorite things to do with out of town guests.

  • Carianna G.

Missed our first choice ferry so had an hour to kill. As we walked up toward Kingston, you can't miss this place as it's the first of many little cafes that are clearly there to cater to the ferry riders. We walked up one side of the street and down the other. My daughter opted for a chocolate milkshake at another place, but I was drawn back to the crepes. The ambiance is nothing to write home about, but my service was good. I didn't see just a plain strawberry crepe on the menu, but when I asked the girl behind the counter, she was very accommodating and made it just the way I wanted. (Powdered sugar, fresh strawberries - mine weren't frozen, I could see another girl cutting them off to the side, more powdered sugar, and a little bit of whipped cream - which had a great vanilla flavor.) It was delicious. A little spendier than I would've liked, but they've got a captured audience. I will definitely get another crepe next time I'm on this ferry run.

  • Catherine T.

I absolutely adore the crepes. So delicious. I've loved them ever since they opened years ago. However, the attitude of the servers always has always been annoying. They're a bit surly and uninterested bordering on hostile. Weird combination, you say? Exactly! I always feel as if I were intruding upon them in some way when I go to order something. Oh well! I guess when your food is great, customer service is optional. That's why the place looses a star. Other than that, it's tres magnifique! Gotta go, there's my ferry...

The savory crepes here are amazingly delicious. It is our goal to try each item off the menu, especially the Nutella Latte. We are looking forward to making another trip back later this year.

  • Vale B.

This place was quick and delicious. Grabbed a savory and a sweet crepe before loading on the ferry and it was amazing- really hit the spot! Large portions. Had the florentine (savory) and raspberry sweet crepe and total was less than $10. Definitely recommend.

I'm definitely a fan. A great and unexpectedly substantial treat while you wait for a ferry, or if you want to walk around cute "downtown" Kingston.... just make sure you have plenty of napkins!!

My husband and I are new to Kitsap County, and have spent the past several weekends visiting different areas around the peninsula. We spent the day in Kingston playing with our dog on the beach, watching ferries coming back and forth, and being blown away by the view of Mount Rainier and downtown Seattle on a surprisingly clear and cold day. Once we got hungry, we decided to get crepes. J'aime Les Crepes is a tiny tiny place, but is full of character and adorable French decor. My husband got the magnifique (chicken, artichokes, garlic, sun dried tomatoes), and mine had chicken, garlic, pesto, and cheese. We ate our crepes outside where they have a few little tables set up. The crepes were delicious, and surprisingly large and filling. We will definitely be back for crepes sometime soon. I am definitely interested in trying a sweet crepe next time.

All I know about craps is they soil what your into. Ok. Sorry about the potty humor. My better half and her mom said they were pretty darned good flat thing stuffed with cylindrical in nerds. So they tasted good with out any complaints of intestinal issues. Price was kinda high again. Friggin Kingstown suffers from TRAVELER HOSTAGE SYNDROME. Live long and find something better elsewhere?

Who knew missing a ferry would turn out so great! Tried this place while we waited for the next ferry...SO GOOD! I might have to make a trip up that way again just for this place!!

This evening we indulged on a crepe filled with strawberries, chocolate, and roasted almonds. The crepe was topped with whipped cream. The crepe itself was perfect. The strawberries were sweet and the texture of the almonds was terrific in this dish. A wonderful treat!

After spending a day on Bainbridge Island, I was faced with over an hour wait at the Kingston ferry terminal. After parking my car in line, I headed out of the lot in search of some food. I had never been in Kingston before. So it made perfect sense that a sign with French words caught my eye. J'aime Les Crepes is a small establishment with only a few seats. It is, by all definitions, a cliche hole in the wall. But it is a French hole in the wall so it drops the l and the e and somehow qualifies to be a chic holé in the wall. It was staffed with, subjectively speaking, beautiful ladies which only tremendously helped with the case for chic... ness. There are a lot of items on the menu. The menu boasts the usual(Scientifically proven to be spelled U'Suál in French) items you expect to find at crepe places - the bananas, the nutellas, the whipped creams. J'aime Les Crepes also offers "bigger" crepes for the hungré. Filling options that contain grilled chicken, eggs, etc - a lot like what you would find to be called "wraps" in the American world. The ones I've tried have been great and I'd recommend it. The wait can be long. But the food is worth waiting for. I assume many of their customers are waiting for the ferry anyway so the wait is bearable. Next time you're across the pond, waiting for the vessel to swoop you away, make a visit to J'aime Les Crepés for your hunger, your sweet tooth, or your undoubtedly American habit of eating stuff because why not. Say hello to the ladies and should you happen to get some numbers from them, message them to me or give them to me in person, but you better have some crepés.

LOVE this place! I've tried their salmon/cream cheese, and the Jean Val Jean crepe! Both were really tasty and filling - especially the Jean Val Jean since it had these yummy seasoned potatoes in them; almost like eating breakfast out of a crepe! xD - I've also tried their Nutella Latte but it's not worth writing home about. My husband had the Meatball Marinara and the Grilled Chicken Supreme; he loved the meatball crepe and his only complaint about the chicken supreme were the nuts in them. I haven't tried their sweet crepes yet but I look forward to it on future visits.

Great crepes, they are enormous, use fresh ingredients, and all at a great price. Big selection of sweet or savory and right next to the ferry!

Yum! Came here while waiting for the ferry and I'm glad I did. Had a crepe with chocolate, strawberries, and whipped cream. I thought it would be mostly strawberries but it was mostly chocolate which isn't really my thing. But that's not their fault and even considering its not my thing I ate every bite. It was fresh and hot and the ladies in there were helpful and cheerful despite it being like 100 degrees. Will definitely stop by next time we come through!

My daughter has been telling me she loves to hop on ferry and take a ride to have a crepe.Sounds nice enough and yes it was! I was really pleased when we became "trapped" as the ferry system cancelled a run,, and even though it was closing time, the owner CHEERFULLY made us a huge crepe and made us feel welcome! We had chicken with artichoke pesto , spinach and garlic, very pleasant!

As a very handsome man...preening on the ferry to Kingston and letting the wind blow through my hair out on the deck gets exhausting...really exhausting. With my energy reserves nearly depleted, and being unwilling to allow the local females of Kingston to carry me around for fear of being compromised or abducted, I decided to have a crepe here. I don't recall exactly what the name of it was, but it was a crepe with typical breakfast meats and provided me the necessary energy to continue my epic journey in the northwest. By the way, ladies of Kingston...I'm still not going to let you carry me.

What pulled me to this place was the big red heart sign they had outside of the shop saying, "J'aime les Crepes Creperie: Crepes, Espressos, and Ice cream." All three I like and the big red heart. Very welcoming. My friend and I ordered the Italian crepe among the many choices of savory & sweet crepe choices. It was delicious and a bigger than usual size for a crepe to be a decent meal. Filled with pesto, spinach, tomato slices, and mozzarella...it was quite Italian-like indeed...=p As for the decor, it's cute for a cute girl like me. Hah! Tiny, shack-like shop, and some seating outdoors. Perfect for a sunny day out. Heart!

J'aime les Crepes is amazing! Step into their tiny storefront and you're transported to a street-side crepe vendor in Paris. Honestly these crepes are better than the ones I had in Paris. Their savory crepes are good sized and come in many different varieties. Veggie, couple simple ingredients, or a crepe-full of gourmet, fresh ingredients. The last crepe I had here was the Chicken Supreme and it was big enough to split with my Mom. The crepes are absolutely delicious. I love the garlic sauce they spread on some of their crepes. The dessert crepes are wonderful as well. I would recommend sharing a savory crepe and a sweet crepe with a friend. The last dessert crepe I had had nutella and nut filling and was drizzled in honey. Mmmm. This is a good place to grab a crepe to go because there are only 4 seats total inside. The employees are always friendly. J'aime les Crepes is a great addition to sleepy Kingston. I hope it stays for a long time!

i have come to this place several times just because of the taste and not due to my hunger . Its not a sit down place but the crepes both veg and the non veg are a must to taste . It is open after 11 pm , so you can also eat like a late night snack though the food is quite heavy . Its also vey affordable coming to 7 or 9 dollars per creap . A must try if you are visiting the Olympic national park ...You can even customize your creap .This place is very near to the Kingston ferry (walkable), so there is no way you will miss this place ...

OK, I'm impatient. I don't like to be late but always find some shiny new distraction...my first trip to J'aime Les Crepes wasn't so different. Usually, I get a little crankers when I'm running late but this time there was a silver lining...finding this incredible crepe joint! Being distracted by the beautiful things on the peninsula, we ran late for the ferry and found that we had to wait another 45 minutes for the next one to arrive. Uggg. Again, impatient! Being a bit of a crepe novice, I always went for the sweet stuff. But, seeing that I was being a bit of a grumpster due to my own tardiness-my cutie pie of a buddy suggested we grab a quick bite to eat to tame this cranky monster. I could've kissed him because he was the only reason why I found this gem! There was a line out the door but I could smell the sweet and yummy goodness wafting from behind the counter. So, I laid off the sweet stuff and decided on a turkey, spinach and cheese crepe and he got the salmon and cream cheese...OMG. OMG. OMG. It was incredible! Yum. This place is almost worth the ferry ride over! Love it!

Best crepes this side of the Kingston Ferry Terminal. Oh wait, possibly the ONLY crepe place but when you're sitting in a hot car waiting for a ferry that won't arrive for another hour? CREPES ARE THE MERDE (see how I did that? Inserted some French swearing in there, oh yeah) They serve 'em up from a counter so you can eat it on the road like how it's meant to be eaten, street-vendor style. There are tables for those who can't handle how gigantic these crepey beasts are. Kim E and I got the belgian dark chocolate with strawberries, toasted almonds and whipped cream which was beyond divine. The savory one was the Florentine stuffed to the brim with fresh spinach, provolone cheese, almonds and a lovely lemon herb sauce. Prices range from $4.50 - $7 which isn't bad when some of these can function as a meal in itself. Other concoctions include salmon, nutella (not together, gross) and even Italian meatball. As good as any French crepe I've had with some American flair, I definitely J'aime les Crepes!

Garlic chicken supreme has never failed to satisfy me. The Ice Cream is awesome. I love the desert crepe's as we'll and the ladies who work there are very nice and always get it right. The only place I've seen that has had a Nutella coffee.

I've had a lot better coffee thats for sure. we ordered white mochas and they tasted like dirt, but hey you cant win em all right? The crepes didn't look bad though. So ill give them 1 star.

Step 1: Park your vehicle in the ferry lane Step 2: Run, don't walk to J'aime les Crepes Creperie to place your order Step 3: walk back to car with your delicious loot! I learned my lesson last time. I hesitated and wandered aimlessly before deciding to go ahead and get the sweet crepes. By then a nice little line had formed and there were orders ahead of mine. I was stressed the whole time. Will I get to place an order? Will I get my crepes in time? Does my husband think I've run off and left him in the hot car by himself? After I placed my order, it was an angst ridden ride while I waited. The drama of watching the crepe maestro whip up crepe batter and make crepe after crepe, sometimes having to start over, almost did me in. My heart would sink when her crepe didn't come out right. She would scowl and start over. All this while, I was biting my nails wondering, "are you going to make MY crepe?!?! I finally did get a perfectly made banana, chocolate and whipped cream crepe just in time for me to do the silly-looking walk-run-walk back to the car. It was worth it.

This place has a great selection of savory and sweet crepes. It is really tiny inside, though! Standing room only. There is a small room accessed through an outside door that they have placed two small tables in to give customers a place to sit inside. We came here after filling up at the Grub Hut. Yeah, we are pigs and decided to try this place out. Because we were both pretty full we decided to share a crepe. And, I'm so glad we shared, because these crepes are huge! One crepe can fill two people up :) We had a sweet crepe, that consisted of chocolate, pecans, and caramel topped with whipped cream. Very good, and the price point of $6 was really good, considering these crepes are huge. Definitely give this place a try. It is conveniently located right next to the ferry terminal. There is outside seating that would be great to sit at when the weather is warmer. Great views of the water.

Luckily, I caught this little storefront when it wasn't busy this morning. Myself and two siblings were waiting for the next ferry to Edmonds and needed breakfast, and didn't want something with a Seahawks game blaring from the nearby bar. The two girls working were really sweet, and had three savory crepes and a tall mocha up in about 10 minutes. The girls were friendly and talkative, handing my younger brother and sister water while we waited and telling us which of the crepes they liked the most while asking what kind of toppings (green onions, garlic, pine nuts, parmesan cheese, etc) we would like. Each averaged out to be about $6 , and the final bill for three plus a mocha was $21 before tip. I don't think the crepes lasted more than five minutes once we sat outside- a good sign!

I think this is as good as it gets. I have searched for a good crepe on this side, but I have yet to find any that can even compare to J'aime's. I've been hooked on the chicken spinach for as long as I can remember, I get a taste of my GF's dessert style and yes, They are very tasty too. Waiting for the boat? Better go get one.

I was going to order their double scope, but the girl works there was very friendly and nicely told me that their single scope is huge, and she was willing to let me see how "big" the size is before I decide to get the double, and also let me have half and half order, which I ended up getting the single. Had their ice cream, I think it's called something chocolate fudge hurricane, or something like that. And also tried their hazelnut chocolate, which was really good, recommended be the lady working there. Also tried their crepes, chocolate, almond and chocolate, it's also good.

Lets start here: I love crepes. Always have, always will. My stepmom is british and also spent 6 years in France, so when she makes her crepes, she knows what she's doing. She hasn't made me a savory one though..hmm.. Anyways, visited here on 5/24/10 with my boyfriend for our 6month anny. Long day having a picnic and the zoo, then a nice ferry ride over to Kingston. We knew we were coming here, and boy was I glad. The place is super tiny, has a counter with two stools and some seating outside. Ordered the Chicken/spinach savory crepe. Huge! & sooo good. Also had a coffee, really tasty. I can't wait to have another ferry ride just to get these.

I have to admit, I love crepes more than the fat kid loves cake. This is a very cute place right up from the Kingston ferry dock, so if you've already paid and lined up for the next boat, take a walk back up the street and come here. It's a very small place, probably no more than 15sq feet of area inside and has two picnic tables outside to sit. I ordered the banana nutella crepe and it was to die for. Awesomeness can be achieved here just by eating one of the crepes!

Oh, man. It's been like six months, but I still vividly recall the salmon/cream cheese/chive crêpe we ate while waiting for the ferry. So so so SO delicious. The lavender honey ice cream is also a must, if you like honey, lavender, and ice cream. (If you don't like these things, alone or in combination, please leave them to those of us that do!) It would be five stars for sure, but I remember worrying that we wouldn't make it back to the car in time as we waited for the ladies to scoop, assemble, and sell us our order (there was no one else waiting). I'm guessing they've hit their stride since then!

While I was very disappointed with the savory crepes here I was willing to give J'aime les Crepes another shot. I went with a sweet crepe.... and..... WOW! Probably the best crepe I've had in the U.S. The rather tragic wheat batter they use for their savory crepes was nowhere in sight! The simple batter they used on their sweet crepes was light, perfect flavor, and it was expertly prepared. The consistency managed to be slightly pillowy but not at all thick. I went the simple route and the only filling I got was Nutella (sans whip cream which is how they serve it). They could have used more nutella, but no complaints... This delicious dessert crepe definitely changed my perspective on this place. I'll be back..... and I just MIGHT give the savory crepe another try. Their sweet was so good. Yummy!

Great little place! They have savory and sweet crepes, both are quite good. They also have ice cream and great coffee. There is only like two seats on the inside but there are a couple places to sit outside.

Amazingly good! Went there for breakfast this weekend right after getting off the ferry early in the morning. Had the Black Forest ham with Spinach leaves, etc. etc. It was fascinating just to watch the cook build each crepe. Microscopic interior, just enough room to order and reach for your credit card without bumping into the walls (while standing). So, this is just take out, so plan to eat outside in the sunshine (if you are lucky) or in your car. They don't seem to be geared to do a lot of multitasking , so if you arrive at the same time as somebody else, see if you can beat them to the door, or you make be waiting a bit. But it was worth the wait, so I will be back whenever I am at that end of the ferry crossing. Moi aussi, j'aime ces crêpes.

When in line for the ferry, you don't have to do it with an empty stomach. The crepes here are delicious and huge. I've tried both the savory and sweet and they were both satisfying. The amount of food you get for your money was more than fair. Never a bad experience yet.

No, I dont like this Creperie. J'adore it! They have all these different combinations of sweet and savory crepes made in front of you in an adorable little storefront. Head over to this place for some savory crepes instead of burgers and fries. You can get burgers just about anywhere, but not yummy authentic crepes like these. Tip: when we were there, we managed to snag two tables and four chairs in a tiny indoor sunroom just off the stairs. You might duck in there if the weather is cool or rainy.

What an amazing find! My friend is visiting from New York and we decided to take a walk on Kingston-Edmonds ferry ride just for the pleasantness of the trip. After reading some great reviews on Yelp, we decided to give J'aime les Crepes Creperie a try. OMG, scrumptious!!!! I had the strawberry with dark chocolate (Guittard Chocolate shavings), toasted almonds and whipped cream crepe...fabulous! My friend had the Chicken Supreme with white chicken meat, spinach, provolone, toasted almonds, garlic and lemon juice on a buckwheat crepe! We couldn't resist sharing and there was plenty for both of us to do that. We hadn't had crepes this delicious since our time together in Paris, years ago. Extraordinary service, well-sized servings, and reasonably priced too. Bravo!!!! I'll be back

Crepes so big they cut them in half and wrap a paper plate around them. Crepes made with chicken, asparagus, spinach, garlic, artichoke and almonds. There are others, that's just the one I like to stick with for obvious reasons. Crepes so delicious I have missed the ferry back to Edmonds several times while eating them. Who the hell cares? Crepes this good are meant to be savored. There's always another ferry on the horizon.

I never had an opportunity to get a crepe here, but i will say this was my favorite place to grab coffee (double tall iced white mocha, to be specific) as i waited for the ferry.

First visit. Walked on the ferry at Edmonds. It's right outside the Ferry Parking lot. The crepes were huge and delicious! Wish they had more inside seating on rainy days. But if the weather is nice and we can sit down outside and enjoy these wonderful creations (I'm going for the pizza crepe next time) it will be even better. But this will be a Fave.

Just an update... I continue to go back to the Creperie, over and over. I tend to not eat out as much as I used to, however this place has got to be near the top of the "hit it most often" list. The help is friendly and courteous, and if they're just being polite to earn business they hide it well. The ingredients are fresh, and the results are very tasty and wholesome! All that served with a smile and a kind word... What more can one ask for!?!?!?!

I LOVE this place! my favorite place for crepes! I grew up in Poulsbo and everytime we made a trip out to visit my uncle in Edmonds we would always stop here for some yummy yummy crepes!! sometimes we made it a priority to arrive at the ferry with lots of extra time just so we could buy some crepes! The girls working there are always very sweet and they do their best to be as quick and efficient as possible! careful not to pass this place cuz it's tucked away in a tiny little corner very close to the toll booths! some of my favorite crepes are the smoked salmon with cream cheese (and I add some fresh garlic), the fresh strawberries with belgium chocolate and whip cream, and the chicken pesto with fresh spinach, lemon pesto, garlic...and I don't remember the rest but it's good! and very filling! A stop worth making if your passing through!!

Since we walked Bloedel backwards, I'll continue my reviews of my weekend adventure backwards. No repeat miles in this trip, so Don and I were waiting to take a different ferry (Kingston/Edmonds this time) home. We were barely parked in line when he dragged me out of the car to visit ONE place in Kingston to have something to review. After waiting what felt like forever in a little burger/ice cream joint across the street without even acknowledgment to us or the other people in line that service might actually occur this century, we skirted across the street to here. I'm glad we did! This is a small, and i mean tiny, little standalone creperie. You will wait, and likely outside if you are more than a few people back in line, but the sole employee worked quickly busting out crepes and lattes for all the ferry bound folks. They have just about every combination of crepe you can imagine. Sweet, savory, spicy, silly, overloaded, simple. Wide variety of other drinks as well as a full espresso stand. I narrowed down the two choices I was interested in in the sweet category and made Don choose from there. He wisely selected the Nutella crepe. Warm, gooey and just right for a little sweet treat waiting for the ferry. They crepes are big, even splitting one we didn't finish the whole thing, so either bring an appetite, a friend, or a to go box along with you to enjoy these wonderful snacks.

In a little town, just outside of Seattle, sits a ferry terminal that will whisk you away to an even smaller town. Just outside of the ferry terminal, sits this little creperie that's about the size of a film development kiosk (or maybe espresso stand in the 21st century). In this tiny little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, you can choose from either a list of sweet or savoury crepes. It reminds me of a chain of crepe shops in New Zealand that just served savoury and sweet crepes, that I love! That chain was more Japanese inspired, though, and this seemingly more French inspired. Anyway, aside from all that, this place is FANTASTIC! Get yourself a crepe anytime you catch the ferry or both ways! They are really big and will fill you up! I've never had trouble eating a whole one, but I'm a glutton for great food. It's a LOT. I love the Special, which comes with ham, swiss cheese, mushrooms, and optionally green onions, dijon, and you're in flavor country (it doesn't taste like Marlboros)! It's right on the edge of the Kingston Ferry Terminal, so walking on, it's a snap! Otherwise, grab one while waiting for the ferry to Edmonds or just park around a corner or two. They also serve espresso and shakes, which I've never sampled.

What a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon waiting for the Kingston ferry than nibbling a savory crepe. If I closed my eyes and clicked my heels, I could almost imagine I'd been transported to Paris - if only for a moment. J'Aime les Crepes is seriously a stone's throw from the ferry dock. Idea for a jaunt on over, while your car is perfectly safe and sound in the loading area parking lot. Of course, do make sure you have adequate time as crepe prepartion is a serious undertaking, (allow yourself at least 20 minutes just to be safe). As you approach this wee little stand, beware of the delicious aromas that will waft in your direction; garlic, cinnamon...yum! My friend and I split a L'Magnifique crepe; fresh spinach, fresh garlic, white cheese, black pepper, and artichoke hearts. The crepe was enormous, perfect for sharing, and boy was it good. That garlic packs a punch so plan on bringing breath mints if you're making out on the ferry ride home. Next time I'm waiting for a ferry, I'd defintiely try a sweet crepe. While the savory ones were bomb, I'm always a little partial to my sweet tooth, and the nutella one sure sounded good...

I had never tried crepes with chicken, spinach, cheese, etc in them - they always seemed to me like some weird combination of lunch and dessert. I was persuaded to give them a try at J'aime les Crepes and WOW. Absolutely delicious. I would recommend the Chicken Supreme, it has some great tasting white chicken meat, spinach, provolone, nuts, and lemon juice (I think). The crepes they use are some kind of wheat mix, they come out very thin and not too heavy. Also good are the crepes with chicken and artichoke hearts. This place is the one upside if you miss your ferry in Kingston! If you've got a few extra minutes, grab a crepe for the ferry.
