Love this place. So happy I found a great Mexican American food place that reminds me of back home. Great burritos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Try the bacon breakfast Burrito and you won't be disappointed, unless you usually eat and like wet burritos. Best flavors and full of big bites of potatoes, eggs, chedder cheese, and of course BACON!!!! :-)

Gosh I love this place. I am originally from the south, so I know what good Mexican is supposed to taste like and cost. Mexican food is CHEAP. Especially the central area where all the familiar food is from in Mexico is poor, the food is cheap and the best of it comes out of hole in the wall kind of places. So expensive Mexican food needs to be knock your socks , balls to the wall, off the chain good to be worthwhile. Almost all of it isn't. Ralibertos is not expensive. Check box one on the list of good signs. Ralibertos building has clearly been repurposed from something else and they slapped some brown paint on it to cover up whatever it used to be. Check box two. The staff speak little English and Spanish is mixed in even when talking to to non-Spanish speaking customers. Three boxes. Chorizo and eggs are on the menu and pickled jalapeño with carrots can come with any meal is four boxes. Plus this place is cheap. It is a perfect example of really authentic Mexican food. Dirt cheap, no frills, minimal service and BRILLIANT TASTY FOOD. It's so bloody good. I love it. Yum.

Great burritos, huge portions, made to order all for a reasonable price.

I've tried this place a few times. Always hot food, fast service and clean restaurant. I've eaten inside the restaurant and tried the drive-thru. So far I've tried: ground beef enchilada, chicken enchilada, crispy shredded beef roll ups with cheese, refried beans, tatter tots, and crispy chicken taco. I LOVE their refried beans...amazing. Dip a shredded beef roll up in the beans and then in their salsa....delicious!!!! Everything is hot and fresh; you can watch them fry the chips while you wait for your food. The chicken used is good quality, moist and tasty. The amount of tatter tots in a small order is amazing and the amount of meat and cheese used in every item I've tried has been ample. The prices are great! For $13 we ordered: 1 chicken enchilada, 1 ground beef enchilada, 3 crispy shredded beef roll ups with cheese, big ol' container of creamy refried beans, a HUGE soda and 1 ground beef crispy taco. Every item came with shredded cheddar as well as ample enchilada sauce and side salsa. Every to-go order comes with utensils, napkins, a variety of salsas and sauces, ketchup, salt and pepper. My only complaint is that the salsa tends to be not as spicy as one would think. Also, the meat is seasoned VERY lightly...but that just means you have to add more salsa (which counts as a vegetable...right?). I will definitely be back again. P.S. If you have a leftover chicken enchilada: cut it up into small pieces and add tortilla chips and refried beans to make; chicken bean and cheese nachos in your oven.....the chicken is still super moist (even three days later). Perfect leftovers!!!!! P.S.S. Don't worry if you don't speak Spanish. They slowly go through your order before you pay (whether you eat inside or go the drive-thru route.)

What a surprise. I love going to these authentic little places while traveling and hope they stay around a while. It just happened to be next to the hotel I was staying at and was highly recommended by fellow Yelpers. I'm not sure, but it must be due to the economy, but this place was empty when I visited. I ordered the special #2 and was pleased when it arrived. The food was prepared fresh and the tortilla shells were handmade, pressed, shaped and fried from scratch; that's the mark of authenticity. The portion size was large and the prices were amazingly low for the amount of grub I got. Taco, Enchilada and quesadilla along with beans and rice with a drink under $10.00. I'd definitely visit this place again when I get back to the area. Overall assessment: Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Price 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5

Great California burrito with sour cream. Rivals the Mexican food of Arizona and SoCal something that is near impossible to find up here in Washington.

I had heard of this place from a friend and after seeing the great reviews, I decided to check it out. I got the carne asada fries because I've been craving them for a while - and i have to say, they were really good. I didn't expect such a great place since its kinda hidden. The best carne asada fries have to be when i lived in San Diego and I am so glad I found this place because now i dont have to wait til i visit San Diego to enjoy some good ones.

I came here with a mission to specifically try the Menudo soup which a couple other yelpers mentioned & reviewed. Oddly enough it was NOT on the menu and I tried ordering it to the staff to no avail. So sad! Since I was there I might as well order something. The carne asada fries were delicious and ginormous! It was like steak nachos but with fries topped with guacamole, cheese, and sour cream. They didnt skimp on the steak which was such a deal for almost $7. Enough to fill two people or 3 for a snack. I still feel defeated for not being able to try Menudo but I continue my quest elsewhere. I

2 things I loved about living in Arizona were the friendships I made & the taco shops. And until now there hasn't been anything here at home in Seattle to compare to the taco shops in the Southwest. Until now at Raliberto's! This morning I had a bowl of Menudo chock full to tripe, a plate of Rice & Beans as well as a large diet soda. All of this for only $9.03 w/tax! Very affordable & incredibly filling. The rice was tasty, soft & not dried out as if it had been sitting a long time. The beans super creamy. The Menudo....mmmmm! Did I mention chock FULL of tripe! Not overcooked meaning tender yet with enough resilience to be able to chew, yet not so chewy as to make it hard to work with. The broth had a deep flavor. I didn't realize how much I miss this kind of breakfast. Hearty, satisfying & filling! The interior doesn't have too many tables, mainly two tops & is very clean. The rest of the menu sounds/looks good but I don't know when I'll get around to trying it since I already know I''ll be back repeatedly for the Menudo! But then again they're open 24hrs so I know where I'll be headed for my late night fix when I'm craving Mexican!

Like someone said don't let the appearance fool you. The interior is very sparse with only 12 tables but the food more than makes up for the lack of ambiance in the dining room. I ordered the Chile Rellenos and my father ordered the Menudo. After a short wait the food came out nice and freshly made with 5 tortillas each. My relleno was cooked just right and when I pierced it with my fork the cheese oozed out. The Mexican rice was light and fluffy and the beans were hard to tell if they were fresh or from a can. My father said the Menudo was just right it just needed a hint of salt to him. This was my first time here and I would definitely come back with my son.

How this ever got such high marks, I'll never know (employees, friends, relatives, etc.?). This couldn't really even be called authentic mexican food. The food was incredibly overcooked, sloppily thrown into a to-go container, beans were extremely runny, and was all way overpriced. For the amount I spent on one meal here (which I gave to my garbage-disposal husband and even HE thought it was bad), I'd just as soon head to La Palmera for a decent meal!

  • Oof J.

Way too salty. Beef was so chewy it was like chewing a huge wad of gum. The person that went with me said the same thing. Almost inedible. The only spice I tasted way the massive amount of Johnny's Seasoning Salt. I must have went there on an off-night or I just wasn't drunk enough. Who knows? Especially compared the other reviews. I might give it one more try. See if one more trip will change my mind.

I hate to be mean because it doesn't look like they get a lot of people going there but, I don't understand why this is place is so highly rated. I ordered a carne asada plate and one .99 ground beef taco. I ate the taco first, and it was okay...the shell was pretty good but I was a little thrown off that it was just lettuce and beef. Granted, this is .99 cents but, I can get a Fresco taco from Taco Bell for the same amount of money. Now, the carne asada plate was not good at all. The rice was dry, beans were decent (and I hate beans), and the pico de gallo was all mushy with guacamole. The carne asada, however, was just plain ol' tough steak. I'm use to carne asada being seasoned and this was not one bit. With every bite I took it became more and more gross..until I just gave up and threw it in the trash. I don't know...maybe I'm just picky. But I've tasted carne asadas from many different restaurants and none have tasted like that. There's been SOME sort of flavor. On the good side, the cashier was nice...and the price was nice. I just wish I was able to eat the food I got.

Tucked away between the KFC and Great American Casino, Raliberto's is my favorite taco shop in the area. Both the California and carnitas burritos are two of my favorites for dinner, and the chorizo breakfast burrito is a big enough breakfast to push lunch back to 2pm, for under $5. Service is good, though they may just have the most inaudible drive-thru speaker this side of 1965.

    (5)
  • Trisha M.

The location is difficult to find (tucked in between a kfc and a casino) and a bit sketchy, especially at night. The service is slow sometimes. It's not the best Mexican food out there, but it's close to where I live, and it's ok... I'd rather drive the ways to Memo's for cheap, fast Mexican food.

Hard to find, but well worth the effort! Raliberto's is tucked in behind the A&W/KFC building on the north side of 128th. Their carne asada fries, a.k.a. Super Fries are the best I have tried in the Lynnwood area! The french fries were perfectly cooked and held up well to the toppings. We order ours with carne asade meat, but Super Fries can actually be ordered with any meat. Red and green salsas provided on the table in ketchup style squirt containers provided the extra zing to the mildly spiced meat. The super huge portion was way too much for one person, and probably enough for two, so consider splitting an order. They are also super generous with the sour cream and guacamole, so ask for these on the side. If chips are more your style, they offer a Super Nacho too! Editing 6 months later to add that the Adobada meat is the perfect meat topping for the Super Fries. It has just the right amount of spice to take the fries up a notch. I also ask for my sour cream and guac on the side since they put so much on. I also order a side of pico de gallo (tomotoes, onions and cilantro) to make my fries perfect! In addition to indoor seating, they have a drive through. However, they cooked our fries and meat fresh, so I am not sure I would want to sit that long in the drive through. I think the only downside might be slower service. I've also tried carne asada fries at Memo's in Everett, but was disappointed in them. Raliberto's is far tastier!

  • Lola R.

Saw so many good reviews, thought we would try this place. We were really disappointed. I've never had such tough and flavorless carne asada. The meal was one bad thing after another; extremely salty beans and flour tortillas like leather. Even guacamole was flavorless. Seemed like the only noticeable taste was salt.

I grew up in Southern AZ and my Nana would make the best Machca burritos. Moved to WA and could not find anyone who knew what I was talking about. So glad I found Raliberto's :) Brings back great memories. Dangerous that they are open 24 hrs. What they lack in decor they make up in flavor :)

I saw a sign that read 99 cent tacos and I Love tacos. I ordered four and an orange soda at the drive through window. The server was very friendly and even asked me how much ice I wanted in the cup of soda. The tacos were fantastic! I think these guys deep fry the taco shells fresh per order. They were so hot and crunchy. Just the way I like them. I will definitely return.

First time visitor today, went for the drive-thru. I was glad I had a book in the car to read as the line was super-slow. I ordered at the speaker but when I pulled around to wait for the vehicle ahead of me to get their food, the back door opened and in clumsy spanish I managed to repeat my order. I recommend you order combination plates by the number for clarity's sake. I found out I had ordered #3 and a chile relleno burrito. Also I was able to purchase a side of pico de gallo which made me very happy. My order came to $13 and change but it was incredibly delicious. Both red and green salsas were tasty and included with my order. The shredded beef taco and cheese tamale was good, I even liked the sloppy beans and the rice was well cooked. Let me tell you...order the chile relleno burrito! HUGE and flavorful. Goodbye Taco Time and Taco Bell, HELLO Raliberto's! I can't wait to go again and try some of their other selections.

The servers in the drive-thru kind of talk (yell) loud! It always startles me haha, but their food is so good! I love how they fry the tacos it makes them extra yummy :) Beef taco plate is amazing and a must try!

I've eaten here numerous times now and have yet to be disappointed. The fish tacos are by far the best I've had in this state, the crispy ground beef tacos are served in a fresh flakey shell and aren't greasy like a lot of fast food tacos are, the lengua burrito is massive and packed with tons of meat and guacamole, and the tater tots are delicious and pleantiful. Everything I've tried so far has been excellent, and a great value for the money. By far my new favorite restaurant in the north end.

You won't get better mexican food than this. Doesn't look like much, actually its appearance will scare you away. But, once you see the very visible kitche, and how clean it is, plus the fact this place doesn't smell like a cheap fast-food greasy diner, you'll be a lot more confident. The two taco place was fantastic, and just plenty for a typical meal, while the fajita dinner was enormous, and could almost be a meal for two. I'm looking forward to going back there for breakfast tomorrow, and I'll be visiting this place every time we come down shopping from Vancouver.

Very inexpensive, good food. Portions are quite generous for the price. Adobada plate was delicious, but carne asada was so tough I couldnt cut it with the small plastic utensils provided. Had to take it back to the counter to have the cook cut it into strips for me in the kitchen. Pretty dry and not very tasty. However, as I mentioned the adobada was delicious and tender. It was served in small bits so no cutlery challenges with this one. Both plates served with small amounts of refried beans and rice, and some pico de gallo, as well as fresh, warm tortillas. Both red and green sauces were available in squeeze bottles and both were spicy and good. The decor is VERY spare, so probably better to drive thru and order to go, rather than eat in. Food is served on paper plates with small plastic utensils, so best to order something doesn't need to be cut. The food was mostly good, but only gave it 3 stars because of the tough, dry carne asada, which I left most of and instead invaded my poor husband's plate and robbed him of some of his delicious pork. :) Also, I don't mind plastic silverware, but at least make it the kind that doesn't bend when you try to use it because it's so flimsy. The refried beans were okay, but also a little dry and salty with almost no cheese added on top. If you go, the adobada is a winner--- will definitely order that if I go again. Will probably give it at least once more some time to try some other items.

I love Hispanic food! Especially tacos, and when my buddy suggested Ralibertos when it first opened of course I wanted to check it out. To my surprise they have some of the best fish tacos I've tasted (and I've had fish tacos in Mexico.) and the price is always a steal! Their burritos could fill two people they're so dense with meat and whatever other fillings accommodated with your choice. The staff is super friendly and great to chat with also! Since going there a week ago, we have been three times and tried different items on the menu never to be disappointed! In the past this location has struggled and I would really love for Ralibertos to strive so if you want an amazing taco treat stop in and check it out!!!

Ok this is a first review of this place, but I confess to having been there twice already. The soft tacos, at $2.75 each might seem pricey initially, but when you meet up with one face to face, you understand why. My carne asada and carnitas tacos I ordered were chock full of meat and pico de gallo! Unlike the taco-truck sized 4" tortillas, these are 6 inch tortillas with probably 3-4 times the meat than what you'd normally expect.. a carnivore's dream!! My son liked his chicken burrito and my daughter loved her enchiladas. I just hope this place sticks around, not that it really has any true competition from the nearby Taco Time and Taco Bell. Go.. Eat.. Cheap.. I am a SoCal transplant of 25 years. Lived in LA where there is lots of Mexican food and this is pretty good stuff. They have Machaca, Chorizo, Lengua, Barbacoa, Asada, Carnitas and Al Pastor. I understand they do Pozole on the weekends too. That's a little too ethnic for me! But if you love Azteca, or Taco Bell/Taco Time, this isn't the place for you. This is much more authentic, hot and fresh.. unless they are off their game that night. Don't go for the ambiance. This place doesn't have any. It's the old Taco Time, minus any semblance of decor. Purpose built and a bit cold. Food is there, they make it fresh and to order. That's it. Nothing more. This place is in the same area as the KFC/A&W and the Great American Casino on the northeast corner of 4th Ave and 128th Street.. exceptionally convenient off I-5, exit 186! Easy parking and they have a drive through too.

I was actually reluctant to write a review wanting to keep Raliberto's to myself however, it's so good I feel I'm doing a disservice if I keep silent. The food is great, the portions are enormous (I to the point of the ridiculous), and the price is fantastic! It's the first time we've gone there so we ordered a variety and it was more food than we could finish; and that's saying a lot considering we're a family of five two of which are teenage boys who are never full! The burrito was huge more than my husband, who is a big guy, could finish. I think an entire cow must have happily gone into this thing; really, really big! If your a cow and going to be dinner this is the dinner you want to be! I had the relleno's which were great although if I"m going to be picky there was so much sauce, sour cream & guacamole it was more like a tasty soup. The beef taco and tostado were also yummy. However, the consensus was that the refried beans were THE BEST we'd ever had and overshadowed everything else!! They are definitely NOT vegetarian which is probably why they were so amazing. The fish taco was a bit underwhelming but that may be more by comparison than anything else. My suggestion is to get a plate and split it and you may still have left overs. I want to convince my husband to go there again tonight and I don't think it will take much persuasion. For $25 I feed two teenaged boys, their dad with a man sized appetite, my daughter who can hold her own and myself with left overs for lunch! Raliberto's is a great find and definitely worth the trip. Update- Since my original review we've gone several times and enjoyed all our meals. Tonight, however, was a completely different experience. I had the tamales one of my favorite foods but after tonight it will be awhile before I will eat another tamale. It tasted like it was from a can, swimming in sauce and lettuce. I can only conclude to disguise that they were clearly NOT made on site. It was really, really bad. The refried beans were more like a soup and the rice was swimming in its own oily soup so there was nothing positive about my meal. My husband had the say issue with his sides but he was enjoying his chimichanga until halfway through he cut into plastic. Considering how good our previous meals I'm not inclined to drop my rating from 5 to a 1 however, I can only cautiously recommend Raliberto's and hope it was an isolated incident.

I just stumbled upon this place yesterday.. What a find!! My husband and I moved here from San Diego 12 years ago and have never been able to find a true Southern CA taco shop until now. This is the place!! Our family had carne asada tacos and burritos, quesadillas, rolled tacos with guacamole and more. Everything was delicious and exactly like you would expect from a real taco shop. As with the previous review, we hope this place will make it and will stick around... we will be new regulars there. Finally a place to get our fix for REAL taco shop food!

This place is THE BOMB. I too have been searching for years to find a local replacement to my favorite 24-hour taco shop back home. This is it! The carne asada burrito will blow your mind. The super fries are exceptional as well, especially carne asada. I am so happy I found this place!!! YUMMMMMMMM!

First time and just had two .99 each hard shell tacos The shells were light and freshly made. Good flavor to the meat. Came at none rush time. service was just a couple minutes and brought out to me on a tray with green and red freshly made hot sauces. Very good. Will be coming back to try some of their plates dishes Rant: so I'll admit I've hit Taco bells from time to time ( come on we all have admit it) So why in the world for the same price get a good taco here that is bigger, an better in everyway over Taco Bell which basically next door? Not me ever again when in this area for Mexican

Grew up in San Diego eating the best Mexican food. Was so excited when I saw they served carne asada fries! My favorite! The food was great. The portions are huge. The tacos are bigger than normal tacos you get from a taco truck. I would have given more stars, but the service was horrible. It took almost 15 mins in the drive thru. They didn't repeat my order back or give me the total amount. Once I pulled up the window she had to take my order over again. Then, forgot my diet coke so I had to charge $1.96 on my card. Other than that, I would go back if I was craving carne asada fries real bad. My bf liked it and he's a picky eater!

I had to post on here just to bring some sense of balance to these reviews, because I'm not sure we ate at the same taco shop. I did the drive through, and waited for about 7-10 minutes at the window while they made by pork burrito and 2 ground meat tacos. I didn't mind the wait and the server was friendly. But the food was so bland. I tried convincing myself otherwise to believe all of these reviews, but there appeared to be no seasoning on it. And yes, I've been to Mexico multiple times, so it's not that my taste buds are just used to American taco bell flavors. The crunchy shell definitely was fresh, and the meat was plentiful, but I ended up throwing my meal away after desperately trying to enjoy it. Feel free to try for yourself, but please post on here if you experience the same. I'd hate to see another stomach filled with needlessly bland food.

Being from San Diego, I am very picky about the Mexican food I eat. Until I found This place I was pretty bummed at the Mexican restaurants that claim to have legitimate, authentic Mexican food. This place is rad, they have legit food, legit hot sauce and they know what they're doing. If you're tired of faux Mexican food and you want real tacos and carne asada you should definitely come here! However The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because on top of serving really good food, occasionally you will get a side order of attitude bordering on rude with your order. I'm not saying "the customer is always right" but customers are the reason you have a business In the first place - so being rude to your customers isn't a good way to operate a business. So just know you are coming here to get legitimate food not friendly conversation and you'll be okay.

So I had heard about this place from a co-worker and found myself next door buying chicken for my family (AW/KFC) After getting my order from KFC I went inside this little spot and at first glance was not impressed. Kinda of dimly lit and very spacious inside with nobody sitting down. The drive thru was busy but inside not so much. I decided to try a couple of tacos for 99 cents each. I ordered the ground beef crispy shell tacos and it took a minute to get my order because they were heating it up on the grill. Got my tacos and were surprised how big they were and how damn tasty these tacos were. The taco shells tasted like they were made that day and not the hard crunchy type where you wondered if they were from a bag and expired. These were crisp, tasty and the ground beef was seasoned just right for my liking. The two women working were making everything fresh and people need to be patient when ordering. More people need to know about this place because I would hate to see them leave. My co-worker says the sauces and homemade guac are the way to go. That is on my bucket list for my next visit.

UGHHH THIS PLACE MAKES ME MISS CA SO MUCH! We love coming here super late at night on the weekdays bc the drive thru is never busy. The owners are awesome, even though we can't understand each other. It's close and convenient, and the beans are super good... especially when i crave them really bad. The rolled taco specials are awesome, get the #1 with guacamole and several $99 tacos, which will last a few days in the fridge to the oven.

What a great family run taco shop! I almost don't want to tell you how good this place is, but I will .... My husband is king picky and he even said he had died and gone to heaven! Hands down best Mexican food around don't waste your money at LaPalmera come here and get homemade fresh food!

I love Ralibertos! Its our go to late night dinner after a long day at work. The woman who does most of the cooking is amazing. She works so hard and has really good food quality. The value vs quantity here is great. I love the nachos with guacamole! Enough to feed two people easy! I also get the crisp beef tacos and fish tacos. We have tried most items on the menu. I will have to say I don't like the chicken. It seems to be turkey or a poor cut of chicken. Sometimes a little greasy and unappetizing. Other than that I love the pico and carne asada and my boyfriend swears by the burrito/enchilada platter! Thank you Ralibertos for being so affordable, consistent and to all the employees who work so hard everyday!!

Recently my girlfriend and I moved to Everett from California, land taco trucks and taquerias. Before moving up here we were scared we wouldn't get as tasty Mexican food as Cali. Me, having lived in several states other than California, was pretty sure Mexican food up here would be bland and tasteless. Cruising around yelp on one of the first few nights we were here, we happened upon Raliberto's Taco Shop. And a plus to it, it was right around the corner from us, so we decided to go check it out. It's a tiny little taco shop, which I read was an old Taco Time (don't get me started on that place!). When we got inside, I noticed a few tables, but it was nice and clean, but not too much on décor, which cool with me... I came for food, not décor haha. There was a lot to choose from, and I do mean a lot! My girlfriend ordered the asada fries and I ordered the nachos supreme with no meat. After waiting for about 10 minutes or so, our food came out. Wow! Both the fries and nachos were huge! To our surprise, it was not bland and it was not tasteless. This tasted damn near like a taco shop back home! We've gone back a few times since then and every time its still tasty and delicious!

I cannot believe the horrible service I've received here. Not just once but twice. The first time I asked for more hot sauce. The response I got was "No we have other customers." Really? That's how you treat your customers? Charge me extra for the hot sauce! But outright refuse it to me? So today, after waiting in the drive thru for 15 minutes for 4 tacos, I ask if I can get extra lettuce and cheese on my tacos since they always skimp on it. This time the response was "No they are only a dollar." Really?! Ok again, charge me extra! I get it! I want to enjoy my tacos with lettuce and cheese! I'm done with this place. The quality is getting worse and worse and the people here are extremely rude. I will take my business to one of the other 100's of taco places in the city. This place is nothing special.

Unreal. This puts a kink in the secret to success, "location, location, location". Tucked away, behind the KFC and hidden from view, I've seen this building become many restaurants. Each were good restaurants, but I believe its was due to it's location. Raliberto's changed this. I see a steady flow of business and had to try it for myself. As the previous reviews say, you need to be prepared to wait for your food... but i can tell you it's worth it. It's hard to find good menudo, let alone in your neighborhood. Truly amazing. The menudo was full of delicious, tender tripe and the broth was outstanding. Most places will water down the broth throughout the day.. but clearly this one wasn't and was full of flavor. As with most restaurants, they'll only serve menudo on the weekends. There is a language barrier, but you can work your way through it. I think I'll learn a few more phrases for the next time.. :) Cheers! Ken

Great fast Cali Mexican!!! Tastes very authentic. The location does not say much, but the food portions and taste are great!!! Definitely worth a try!!

I'm originally a San Diegan so I'm all about Mexican food. For those of you that don't know, SD mexican food is better than Mexican food from LA or TJ. Anyway, I was stoked to find out the owner is from SD. The gauge of all Mexican food spots is measured by the quality of their Carne Asada Burrito and this one didn't quite meet up to the standard of excellence. But again, being from SD, I hold the expectations extremely high. If you're from Southern Califas and you're fiending for a fix, the Carne Asada chips and a large Horchata do the job.

Had to try this place with all the good reviews. Great prices but not impressed with the food. Don't know what all the hype is all about.

This place is so delicious! Whenever we are looking for a quick meal that is filling, we go here. I love the steak breakfast burrito with guacamole on the side. My husband has tried the carne asada burrito and the tacos. I would recommend this place to anyone, hands down! Their prices are also right where they should be. I can go as far as to say that we might never eat at another Mexican restaurant again. Don't be turned off by the fact that the restaurant is pretty bare inside...this is more of a take out place and is well worth it.

Being an LA transplanter, too, I was looking forward to the raves of the others. Please keep in mind that I had one burrito and my daughter had the cheese enchiladas. This is no reflection of all the food there but unfortunately, I won't rate those because the enchiladas were tasteless and microwaved and the burrito was so salty, I couldn't get past three bites. The nice man that took our order didn't speak english and didn't get my order right. But I'm a believer in fate and sometimes you get what you need, rather than what you want. LOL I guess I needed some salt in my system! LOL I'm glad that those who enjoy Ralibertos do, otherwise those of us who don't would put them outta business.

This is my favorite place! I loves the Super fries. The only thing is that they take a long time to make the food, and it can be pricey. Although, they're not greedy with their food.

for the price you will never get as much or as good of Mexican food, it just like a cleaner gut truck.. been there with my girlfriend for dinner a couple times we both left full happy and under $15 GET THE BREAKFAST BURRITO!!!! makes all hangovers disappear.

Meh. The service was decent but the food was just not that great. I'm actually kinda surprised at all the great reviews on yelp. For me, the worst part was the fake lime-green colored guacamole. Gross.

I've been there twice already. This place has good food, authentic and pretty cheap. (Ground beef tacos are $0.99 each) The fish tacos are good as well. It's open late; it's nice to have a good place to eat late at night beats having to get something at McDonalds. If you love Azteca, Taco Bell or Taco Time, this isn't the place for you. This is much more authentic, don't go for the ambiance. This place doesn't have any; it's the old Taco Time, minus any semblance of decor. They make their food fresh to order. This place is in the same area as KFC and the Great American Casino on the northeast corner of 4th Ave and 128th Street. Hope this help's?

Went here for takeout because I was missing the mexican food from socal and really like this place. There's nothing too fancy about it, but the food is just great comfort food and tasty. I will definitely be back.

Had the chorizo breakfast burrito to go. Solid burrito for $4.75. The green sauce is awesome, but pretty spicy for this gringo. Need to stop by here more often.

Fast fresh and hot Food from South of the Border. Big menu of fresh cooked dishes. Local folks, not a chain shop.

  • Clayton J.

Well, I'll start by saying the food was really good and the portion was fair for the price. The issue I had was with the communication. I asked for a pork burrito. I was told burritos are shredded beef, pork is extra. I then asked for ground beef and was told no. I am not a shredded beef fan, but they did it right here, it was flavorful and tender. I think short of seafood, everything should be the same cost, but the menu should specify what comes with what. Would love to have a place like this in my zip code, but until that day, I know where this place is and I plan to return.

If you're from San Diego and are feeling desperate for a good carne asada burrito, this is your place. The only SD-style taco shop I've found in the PNW. I've driven the 30ish minutes from Seattle just for a burrito. The drive thru is great if you're just driving by and want some quick food.

Not bad, got the carne asada fries aka FRACHOS. Also got 1 al pastor taco but it was about $2.99, which is $2 too much. Still, if you're in Everett, I'd recommend.

Pretty good I've been here twice now and have enjoyed it both times. I was a little nervous to try because I never see anyone there, but I was in the mood for tacos so I went. Glad I did! The only thing that was kinda odd was the lady there seemed to dislike me? Kinda grumpy. But I'll still come back for me

I lived in San Diego for seven years. Everyone who has spent time there knows "'Berto's". Berto's is essentially local slang for whatever the closest local taco shop is to your house. The amusing part every one of them all end in "-bertos": RObertos, ROYbertos, ALIbertos, hell, I even saw a JEFFbertos once. Anywho, the magic that was they all had nearly identical awesome carne asada burritos. I remember in college parties at UCSD would inevitably end at the Miramar Drive 'bertos. One guy would even buy 20 carne asada burritos and sell them at parties for $5 each. I saw on Yelp there was a Bertos....in *Everett*? Like WTF kinda space time wormhole opened up where my people decided to trek this far north and open up a proper burrito shop? I had to investigate immediately, and was not disappointed. I ordered the same thing I did in San Diego - carne asada burrito with sour cream (no guac--hey, I'm allergic). It tasted *exactly* like it was supposed to, San Diego style. No rice or beans to get in the way, just a giant flour tortilla tube of yummy cow goodness. I am SO going back.

Wow. After reading the reviews and just moving into the neighborhood I was excited such a seemingly great Mexican joint was right down the street. My partner and I were both very disappointed. We ordered a plate with taco carnitas and a burrito/enchilada plate. The carnitas were chopped up WAY too small and for that reason were extremely dry. The burrito was also dry, it was chicken. The enchilada was slimy and barely had any cheese in it. We waited for 15 min for them to fill this order. I assumed it was because they were making it all fresh to go. Who the hell knows what they were doing. It sure wasn't cooking authentic food that's for sure.

Ordered beef burrito, chicken burrito, and super nachos, $19. Chicken tasted good only thing was the steak on the nachos was kinda chewy. But decent place for sure better than any fast food.

I've lived up the street from this place for 8 years and never knew about it. Although you can see it from the main road 128th, it's not that noticeable. It's just a little red shack, really. But this little red shack has a secret!! The best Mexican food outside of San Diego!!!!! And super affordable. I'm just sad I didnt find it sooner. I'm moving to Belltown next week. But I'll be back. Worth the drive!

I had such high hopes of this place, honestly. My boyfriend sung its praises and Yelp rarely lets me down. However, here is a list of what went wrong. 1. Ordered chips and salsa. It's actually chips and pico de gallo. I ordered to go, so I guess I should've checked before leaving. But still, no where else on the menu is pico listed as "salsa". 2. Pico was over 75% onions. I love onions, but that's not pico de gallo. Plus a few very poorly diced tomatoes, and an abundance of cilantro. No lime, no spice, not even any salt or pepper. 3. The chips are incredibly fragile. I couldn't even enjoy the onion-y pico if I'd wanted to, because anytime I tried to dip, the chip would crumble. 4. I also ordered a carnitas burrito. I wanted to add beans and rice. Cashier even clarified I wanted to ADD to the ingredients already on the burrito. The cooks sub'd beans and rice, so I didn't get guacamole or pico on my burrito. 5. Carnitas were additionally disappointing flavor-wise, and waaaaay too salty. 6. The flour tortilla was really tough and chewy, which also made the entire burrito difficult to enjoy and finish. 7. Both the verde and roja salsas were bland. No flavor, no spice, nothing at all nice. They do get two stars, however, because; 1. The cashier was very friendly and patient in answering my few questions. 2. Food did come out incredibly fast. 3. Horchata was the bombdotcom, and only $2.50 for a large! So, unfortunately for me, the cons outweigh the pros and I will probably not be back.

I decided to give this place a try after reading many great reviews on Yelp and seeing some mouth watering delicious tacos photos that people posted. The place wasn't too appealing to me.. No pictures in the wall.. No decorations.. Nothing. But I was there only for the food.. So no big deal. I ordered the carne asada taco, fish taco, and carne asada burrito. Let's just say I was very disappointed. The workers were really friendly though. :)

Stopped in around 8:30am on a Saturday... the place was empty and stayed that way the entire time we ate. We didn't exactly get service with a smile, but our breakfast burritos were prepared quickly and were pretty fantastic - no smiles needed when the food is that good! I had the steak breakfast burrito and my husband had the chorizo breakfast burrito. The steak was good, but the chorizo flavor was perfect for the burrito - not too strong but well balanced with the tortilla, egg, and potatoes. It was the best breakfast burrito I've had in Seattle and for $5! Must get back sometime soon to try the carne asada or tacos...

I'm Anaheim, CA, and I'm so used to having large juicy burritos. I mean 1 1/2 to 2 lb burritos and well worth the price of $7 - $9. Now being here, I've been searching for a place that offers the same thing. Is that too much to ask for? Apparently it is here in Everett. So far I've been to 10 local places and was totally disappointed. So far I've the best burritos I've had was one that I paid almost $9 for and it was about a 1 lb burrito. the only thing that it had going for it was that it was dry as hell. Anyways, getting to Raliberto's Taco Shop. I came across this place by searching through Yelp. What captured my eyes was the photo of a large burrito next to another dish. I looked further into the other photos and was intrigued. So naturally I went there hoping for a huge Carne Asada Burrito that I can eat half today and the rest for lunch tomorrow. Well, upon arriving, I went to the counter and noticed that the price for the burritos were $5.20, which is an amazing price for the size in the picture. To verify the size of the burrito I asked the clerk how big it was. I don't know if he barely spoke English or just playing dumb, but his answer was "Medium". I asked him what he meant and to show me an estimated size by using his hands. Once again, he looked dumb founded and says "Medium". I finally got frustrated and gave up and ordered a burritos. As you can tell by my rating that I was disappointed and as you can see by my uploaded photo why I'm upset. To expand on my disappointment I found that the burritos was very dry and the meat was pretty hard to eat. The onions were probably freshly cut because they were fairly large and also hard. I don't think I'll be ordering this item again, but I did notice a few items that I'm still curious about. So I guess I'll be making another review of that item.

This Taco Shop is the closest thing to a SoCal Tijuana Style Taco/Burrito Shop that SoCal transplants will experience in the Pac NW. True the burritos are not as large but the flavor is all there. Carne Asada Burrito is my current fav. Can't wait to go back and try the Carne Asada fries.

Love the food here! So thankful to find this place because it kills the commercial Azteca and other Mexican places here in the area. If it had beer and a bar it would be the best restaurant but for takeout and a quick bite, it's a must have.

Amazing hot fresh authentic Mexican! It's super rare to find quality Mexican food that isn't super commercial and covered in cheap sauce. This place is great and there's a drive through which is slick! Love it and highly reccomend

My brother told me about this place and I've been wanting to give it a try, so that's exactly what I did yesterday. I ordered a couple crispy beef tacos at the drive thru and I have to say those shells were awesome. I'm going again tomorrow (I'm afraid this is the start of an addiction) to get more. I have to say that $1.00 for their tacos is too cheap really, but if you need to fill up a car full of kids (and don't forget yourself) you can do it for not much money. At some point, when I am fully sated with my beloved tacos I will branch out to their other offerings which I see by reviews here are excellent as well. They sit back from the street a little ways but turn into the parking lot just before the Kentucky Fried Chicken and you'll see it soon enough.

This place was ok, I am used to the smaller carne asada tacos and these were made with two normal sized corn tortillas, too much tortilla in my opinion. The carne asada fries are pretty good though. I would go somewhere else for carne asada tacos.

Alright... So I drove by this place for the last 3 years, it's tucked away behind some buildings and if you blink you could miss it. Today my eyes were open, partly due to the slow moving traffic, hey it was raining!!! Everyone drives slow in the rain here. I ordered the Burrito Cali. Being from San Diego I think California Burrito. Being in Everett I think it non existent. I order it anyway just to give it a try. I get home and open it up. The tortilla and wrapper were clean, not wet; a good sign to start. The fries were cooked golden brown. The carne asada was cooked well done. Not messy at all. As Bob Barker said, "the price is right". This was a very tasty burrito.

Order the California Burrito. Say yes to the red and green sauce and continue to have the best burrito in town! This place doesn't look much from the outside but being from San Diego Calif, this place will satisfy! The best item on the menu isn't on the menu and that's the California Burrito, trust me on this one. A solid 4/5. I would rate it 5/5 but they close at Midnight whereas they used to be 24hrs!

I love love love this place! I actually have cravings for the beef tacos. The nachos are huge and oh so delicious. The staff is friendly and eveything is tasty, and if your in a rush they have a drive thru. It seriously doesn't get any better or any more authentic. 2 words Go Now!

  • Doug M.

I did not understand how some people gave this place negative reviews until I came back a few times. Like many fresh food places, it is inconsistent. The carne asada does not taste like skirt steak but seems to be a cheaper cut of beef. The beans and rice are bland, but at least the beans have that smooth lard quality. The adobada is as good as anyone's. The fish tacos are among the best I have had. I have had better luck through the week than I have eating here on weekends. Even though the staff is not proficient with English they have always been nice and I have always gotten what I ordered. I like the adoba burritos and tacos even better than the adobada plate. They have some pico de gallo in the burritios, which is mainly made of onions here but that works well in a burrito.

Food is as close to Filibertos in AZ as possible. It's very hard to find something similar in the Pacific Northwest and this is pretty good. The horchata is not what we were expecting tasted like powder.

Went to this place a while back as my wife wanted some Mexican food. I found this place via iPhone. Around 8pm was not a busy time, nobody there. I ordered a bean burrito for myself and a soft taco and beans for the wife. My burrito was tasty for just a bean burrito, the beans were flavorful. My wife didn't eat the taco as it was with a corn tortilla which she doesn't like. But she liked the beans. This is a decent place if you want a better quality Mexican food instead of taco bell or taco time, and prices are cheap tool

Food: 3 Service: 2 Value: 4 Restaurant: 2 Actual 2.5 but rounding down because of overall experience. We went into the lobby at 9am for breakfast. The lobby is half empty and there were no utensils in the utensil dispenser. The soda fountain didn't work and overall it had an abandoned building feel to it. The food was okay but not great and the guy who took our order was less than pleased to be brought to the front of the restaurant to take our order. We were the only people in the lobby the ENTIRE time we were there which should have been an indicator of the level of service. Overall a 2 and we will not be coming back.

I like the food here. The fish in the fish tacos are on the small side but delicious. Their pico de gallo tastes fresh and their carne asada fries and burrito are also good. I prefer this place over memo's though the wait in their drive through is a bit longer. It's worth it!

Omfg. Eat here. It's amazeballs. Yes, I am from Sam Diego and this place finally does some justice for real so cal style Mexican food. My California burrito was perfect. The carne asada nachos I stole from my boyfriends plate were awesome. I ate my kids last rolled taco, it was also great. Then I ordered 2 More burritos to take home and 2 churros for the road, because we drove up here all the way from Burien. I am so happy to have burritos back in my life, I've missed them painfully so. I will be back.

This is as close to SoCal taco shop Mexican food as it gets in the PNW. Great shredded beef tacos and carne asada burritos (only meat, pico, and guac). Only thing that doesn't compare are the tortillas- they're not the handmade ones like you get in SoCal. Nevertheless, it gets me through until I can make it back home to SD for the real thing!

Okay, so for all us transplanted Californians now living in Western WA, a common complaint we have is that there is just no good Mexican food up here. I'm not talking about sit down restaurants with table service (although, those suck too!), I'm talking about small, privately owned, hole in the wall (I mean that in a good way!), Mexican restaurants primarily catering to the takeout business. Let's face it, we never realized how good we had it in California, especially So Cal where Mexican restaurants are on every street corner like a 7-Eleven. I've been living in the Everett-Lynnwood area for 6 years now and not until Raliberto's opened a couple of years ago, did I ever think I'd find good Mexican food. Granted, there are some good Taqueria trucks out there and Memo's is passable, like methadone is to a heroin addict, but Raliberto's is the real deal! Huge portions of great food at very reasonable prices. I agree that they aren't real fast like some reviewers have stated, but that's because everything is made to order. I've never understood why people bash small restaurants like this for being slow. It's not that slow, I've never had to wait for more than 10-15 minutes. If you want your food within 3-4 minutes from ordering it, Taco Bell is right up the street, go knock yourself out! It's people that bitch about that stuff that is ruining takeout restaurants and turning them into bland clones of one another that prepare their food in assembly line fashion. Stop it! Anyway, enough of me complaining and onto the food. Everything is good from Chile Rellenos, Chimichangas, Enchiladas, Fajitas and plates of Carne Asada or Carnitas. They also serve more traditional stuff like Menudo (weekends only) and Americanized things like Burritos, Nachos and Carne Asada Fries (really good btw). But, it is the tacos that really stand out. The Carne Asada and Carnitas Tacos are huge and awesome tasting. I've never been disappointed with the tacos and I pretty much can't go more than a week without a couple! The breakfast burritos are great too, especially the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. So, in summary, great food at great prices. Really, what more can you ask for in a good Mexican restaurant.

This is a fast food, dive with a late night drive thru window. I ordered the taco combo and tried each taco with both the green and red sauce. Both sauces have a kick and were great on the tacos, rice and refried beans. The taco shells seemed to be freshly fried. They were a bit greasy, but tasty. This place only sells Pepsi products which worked out for me in the end because I skipped drinking the late night soda, and might actually be able to fall asleep tonight.

Wonderful Carne asada taco combo plate. Fresh pico, delicous guacamole and salsas. The rice and beans were not old or dry. Very happy with this authentic style taco shack. Plus they have a drive through!

I agree the carne asada is great. If you haven't gone California burrito, do it. Best option on the menu. Rali's does the Ca burrito right. Next closest spot to find one is in San Diego. Add s.cream/guac and green sauce your set. Time to expand to N.Everett, then every corner like Starbucks!

Searched for a genuine taqueria in our area and came upon this gem on Yelp. Figured it was worth a try....and BOY we weren't disappointed! Raliberto's menu reads like a traditional taqueria. You also have a few modified selections to please the Americanized palate. There was a lot to choose from, all reasonably priced. Plates/combos ran from around $5.50 to $7.50 with a la carte items going for a dollar or two. Their ground beef tacos sell for 99 cents and put your fast food tacos to shame. Guacamole, sour cream and other condiments can be added for a small charge. Our dinner included the burrito and cheese enchilada combo, the taco & tostada combo, a carne asada torta, and ground beef super nachos. The large carnitas burrito was stuffed with meat and beans, with some peppers and onions. The cheese enchilada was generous and had some chilis in the cheese. The taco was a large crispy shell filled with carne, lettuce, and cheese, while the tostada was a little lean on refried beans but still tasty. The carne torta was overflowing with meat on an incredibly fresh and tasty bun. The nachos, while a bit pricey at $7.50, were piled high with beef, beans, cheese, guac and sour cream....WELL worth it! We have only two suggestions for improvement: 1) If you are gonna go to the trouble of using large crispy taco shells, fill those puppies up! (even if you need to charge a few cents more); 2) Lets see a few more refrieds on the basic tostada. The decor is plain and simple, yet very clean. Service was fairly prompt. Don't complain about the 5-10 minutes it will take to prep a meal. This is NOT really fast food. Everything is fresh from the grill. The prices are very good, barely a dollar or so more than fast food, especially considering the serving sizes on most choices. And the food quality....wow! IF you are used to Taco Bell, Taco Time, or Azteca, these names have a place in the American dining experience, but are "Americanized" to be sure. Raliberto's food is old-Mexico from the heart. Meats are seared and seasoned, not drowned in taco sauce and tomatoes. If you like authentic taqueria food, you will love this place. If you are used to Ameri-Mex or Tex-Mex, give Raliberto's a try.

By far the worst restaurant, or should I say service, I've ever dealt with. My wife and I only kept going back because the food was good, well, when they get the order right, which is about only 20% of the time. The last time we ordered take out, we ordered a breakfast burrito with a side of rice and beans, and a chimichanga platter. When we got home, we found they put the stuffing for the burrito in the plate and gave us tortillas to wrap it ourselves. Unbelievably lazy. My wife calls and speaks to the manager, who ACTUALLY ARGUES WITH HER. He tells her that's what she ordered. We ordered this many times before. Neither one of us wanted to go back right then and get a new one. Then after she is off the phone, she opens her chimichanga platter only to find they put NOTHING in the tortilla. NOTHING! Incompetent and lazy is how I would describe this place. We didn't even bother calling the manager back because at this point, nothing was going to be done but him argue with us. I know the customer is not always right, but to this place, the customer is always wrong.

In short: Great food, great prices, nice people, open crazy late for post-bar snacks, but...hard to find, undecorated, slow service. And despite the shortcomings (or maybe partly because of them), five stars without a doubt. This place lurks behind the A&W on the north side of 128th. Don't be like me--I got off the freeway and drove past it twice, front and back, before I figured out where the parking lot was. Hey, it was really foggy. Turn in behind the A&W and there you are. Ironically, A&W flies a big neon sign that says "All-American Food," which will guide you to Raliberto's if you let it. When you do get here, you see a small converted fast food joint. They do their best, putting up big signs and painting the windows as vividly as they can. You can drive through or dine in. When you walk in, you see a fairly dim dining room with virtually no decorations, and they might not always be super quick to bus out tables. They keep a very lean staff here, so busing isn't always job one. Don't be swayed. The food rocks. The menu is simple, and shown up on the wall with photos. Tacos, burritos, chimchangas, etc. Whatever you order, whether you order to go or to dine in, it's coming out in a stryrofoam clamshell. It's either in a bag or on a red plastic tray. They have all the basic pops from the fountain, and a couple in bottles. They also have horchata and fruit juice. You order. It's cheap. You sit down. You wait. Even when it's dead, you wait ten minutes. That's because they're making your food. They're not just grabbing it off the warming tray, they're slamming metal spatulas on the flattop and putting your food together. It's not all organic or anything, not at these prices, but it's all fresh and it's all made when you order it. Cool! What you get is great. Explosively flavorful sauces and salsa fresca, gooey cheese, chewy tortillas, and great fillings with nicely balanced seasonings and good depth of flavor. The tacos are too big to eat without scooping a few forkfuls first, the guac is creamy and tangy, the burritos are hefty and full of flavor. I love everything about this place after one visit. It's great cheap grub that's really hard to find (literally). Definitely be back.

Was really looking forward to this after reading the reviews...sorry to have driven out of our way to do so. I doubt we'll be back, and there wasn't one other person in there eating if that tells you anything. El Antojo is 5 minutes from the house, has better food and the great salsa bar that also has pickled carrots and onions plus fresh radish slices, all free. I'm not saying the food at Raliberto's was bad, it was just forgettable. The thing I was really looking forward to were the homemade tortillas that reviewer's here were raving about, but there were none. The tortillas used on the Carne Asada tacos and rolled tacos that we had were definitely out of a package. The woman at the counter that took our order couldn't have cared less, and spoke barely enough English to even take the orders (and we ordered by number!) They must have raised the prices since the people raving about how cheap their food is ate there. Two Carne Asada tacos, without much meat, three rolled tacos (could they get any less meat in those?!) Both with tiny portions of rice and beans was $16.00. Not impressed.

I like the food here. The fish in the fish tacos are on the small side but delicious. Their pico de gallo tastes fresh and their carne asada fries and burrito are also good. I prefer this place over memo's though the wait in their drive through is a bit longer. It's worth it!

Not me ever again when in this area for Mexican

bad service, great food. carne asada and rolled tacos like found in southern california. check the guy at the register. seems to make mistakes in his favor often.

About the closest you'll get to a good Machaca burrito in these parts. I'm giving 5 stars just for that.

I am sad to update my review but after a string of very unfriendly customer service and poor food quality I felt like I should update my review.

:) Cheers! Ken

I love it. Yum.

  • Nico S.

  • Lisa B.

YUMMMMMMMM!

Omfg.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
