Dinner was a wedding gift and it was wonderful. Beautiful place with room for only a few, which makes it all the more intimate. Food was delicious and it was a great experience.

I went to the grand opening on Sept 18th with new owners. The food was awesome, made from scratch, featuring local produce, cheese, coffee, teas, breads, and even the flowers on the tables. Best ribs ever. The desserts were all made by scratch too, (chocolate souffle's, blackberry crisp, creme brule, cheesecake, and homemade ice cream). Loved, loved, loved this place.

Simply amazing place in the middle on nowhere... was roadtripping in the idyllic hills of eastern washington (palouse/moscow area) and was driving back to portland when we were on the lookout for lunch places. Found this on yelp and decided to check it out, and were simply blown away by the atmosphere, presentation and superb taste of everything. I had the Sarah Lymans World Famous Chicken Adobo, although I had never heard of the dish before... but after the first bite I sure agree on the "world famous" tagline which it deserves!! My friends got the salmon and singapore noodles which were excellent as well but the chicken was hands down the best dish. But wait, we also got young coconut ice cream after the huge lunch, but it was so delicious that we have no problems in polishing that off as well! All in all, its a restaurant worthy of Portland, definitely give it a try if you're in the area.

Manila Bay Asian Cafe is Dayton WA's best keep secret! I have been there twice so far and it is my favorite restaurant when visiting my Mother in Law who lives in Dayton. We started off with appetizers - Coconut Shrimp Skewers and Lumpia. WOW! Both appetizers were delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and the presentation was beautiful, please look at the photo I have posted! For our entrees we ordered the Chicken Adobo, Lobster Ravioli and the Pork Vindaloo. We all LOVED our entrees. Our food was amazing and the presentation was wonderful. The portions sizes are perfect and the food is reasonably priced. We met the owners of the restaurant, they were hospitable and very welcoming. We all had such a great experience at this fine establishment. I would highly recommend this restaurant. A perfect place to impress a date. If you're planning on wine tasting in Walla Walla, a short 1/2 hour drive to Dayton WA is a must for dinner at Manila Bay. Be sure to make reservations!

I am real stingy with 5 stars. This place should be a six. All the cooks in any restaurant anywhere near this place should come here to see exactly what perfectly plated food and simple yet stunning plate presentations are all about. I loved, really loved this meal. I will be talking about this for a while to come. The Rogan Josh was the best I have ever had, the simple syrup with a hint of orange zest made the fruit garnish so sublime and satisfying. The Naan, hot and fresh, the rice was cooked perfect. My wife had the Pork served in a banana leaf, can I say Wow! Thank you to the yelpers the said such nice things about this place. I almost went somewhere else ( I never eat at Asian cafes) this place was wonderful.

Very delicious! Everything from the tea to the desert was fantastic. Reasonably priced as well. They have adorable tea sets for you to enjoy while they serve you a large variety of premium teas. Perfect for a delicious meal right after you get off the slopes.

I am usually hesitant to try restaurants that serve many different types of cuisine because I have found that restaurants that try to do too much and end up lacking in quality and taste. This was not the case at Manila bay. I came here for lunch with my family (6 of us total), each of us ordered a different items, and everyone was very extremely satisfied with their meal. We all started with a fresh salad, which has to be one of the best salads I've had (and I'm vegetarian, so I've had many!) It had pomegranate, apple, carrots, pickled onions, seeds, lettuce, and a berry mixture on the side. It seems like a lot, but they flavors paired perfectly. I ordered the day's special: udon noodles with vegetables. The noodles had a good texture, firm and chewy, and the bowl was filled with a wide array of fresh veggies. And the soup was hot; I can't stand it when I get lukewarm soup. We ordered an eclectic array of dishes: rogan josh, pasta la papa, pork and artichoke pot pie, and pork vindaloo. Every plate was clean by the end of lunch, with the exception of my grandma who simply could not finish the large portion. We left full and extremely happy. I am only visiting for a short while, but I will be sure to return to Manila Bay the next time I am in Dayton.

I travel all over the world and have been to some very small towns in my day and Dayton, WA is no different. I had arrived in Dayton for the first time for work rather than staying in Pasco and driving to Pomeroy for work as there are very few options for lodging and even fewer options for dining. While checking into the new Best Western in Dayton, i asked about the dining scene and was quickly guided to Patit which is closed on the date of my arrival.. then she mentioned this placed called Manila Bay so i went online and checked out the menu. i am one of those people who think that if you have a menu that is so out there in variety it must be difficult to cook any thing good and if you try to make stuff from different ethnicity someone will like something and hopefully stick (I call it cheesecake factory syndrome) As i walked into Manila Bay i was surprised by the decor. very clean and "different" kind of like a bordello with class. shortly afterwards, the waitress explained the specials and recommended the Gyozas to start, Pork Vindaloo (being Indian i was reluctant and i love spicy food). the dipping sauce for the Gyoza was really good and one could tell this was not some bottle version, it was made from scratch and oh so tasty. The gyoza were amazing with pork filling. next came a salad, overall a delicious second course had me cleaning my plate of all the greens and fruit. now, i am truly satisfied and the main course hasn't even arrived. I have to say that the Pork Vindaloo is one of the most savory, spicy, appetizing and oh so yummy dish. I could not stop raving about it while taking every bite. Needless to say i left the dish as clean as one would expect after a dish washing LOL... to continue my food orgasm, i ordered the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake... two of my most favorite things chocolate and cheesecake.... i have to say cheese cake factory couldn't touch this with 10-ft pole. overall, this is a must try and based on my above items ordered i am confident that all the items on their menu are masterfully made with love and attention to taste and balance. This place rivals any place in SF and Napa... i am still in awe that this place exists in Dayton, WA.....

I went in here for a quick dinner the other night and the staff was super friendly, the atmosphere great and the decorations eye catching. I only had soup so I can't speak much to the menu, but the soup was fresh and delicious. The name of the restuarant is a bit misleading though, while there is Asian cuisine here, there is also French, Italian, American and others. The menu didn't look much like fusion, more like a hodgepodge - not that there is anything wrong with that, just don't expect your traditional Asian Fusion when you come here!

Excellent. A fusion of flavors from all over south east Asia to India. Cozy eclectic atmosphere and a small but great wine list.

Delightful delicious dinner! We will be back! We ordered kalua pig. It was served in a banana leaf with brown rice. We didn't want the meal to end! For dessert we chose the lemon cream cake the piece was definitely large enough portion for sharing. Outstanding!

Surprisingly good. The indoor decor is eclectic, sort of art gallery meets antique store meets restaurant. My dinner, the boneless braised beef short ribs, was basically just a fancy pot roast but still tasted pretty good. The people at the next table had the pork shank which looked amazing. I'm taking a star off because I felt the service was a bit lacking. Not my favorite restaurant in Dayton but a close third.
