Good food, friendly atmosphere in a tiny town. If you're passing through or stopping for a car show, this is a great place to get some lunch and drinks. Pizza and fries are available next door, but can be ordered from the pub.

Ordered a burger and a turkey sandwich. Burger was called in by the waiter and then cooked elsewhere. The sandwich was made in front of us and ready to eat 10 minutes before the burger even showed up. The burger was then delivered in a to-go container. Burger was ok at best.

Listen, I have to commend them for opening up a brewpub in Dayton, but it's not really all that awesome, as far as brewpubs go. Let's talk important things first: Beer. They had six of their own beers on tap, which is OK, but really (IMHO) the bare minimum you should have as a brewpub. The wife and I got a sampler of the six, and nothing wowed us. I thought the Scottish ale was decent, the stout was drinkable but disappointing for the style, and the others were relatively mediocre. Beer-wise, it's a good place to stop if you're stuck in Dayton, but not exactly a beer destination. The food wasn't all that good. The "kitchen" is roughly the size of the kitchen in my first apartment, and apparently the same person pours beer, serves as waitstaff, and puts together meals. I had a reuben, which was passable. The salad it came with was boring. My wife's burger was overcooked and not all that flavorful, and her french onion soup was terrible. And both meals came with Frito's. Price of the food wasn't bad for a lunch out, but it wasn't worth the quality. The service model was odd - there were a few tables, but no dedicated waitstaff. They had a sign up that you should go to the bar for service. Which was fine. But when we got there, we were the second table to sit. As such, the server greeted us at the table and brought stuff to us for the first 30 minutes or so. But when a few more people came in, they stopped, and without warning. It was a little unexpected and off-putting, at least until I figured out what was going on. All in all, it's worth a stop if you're driving through, but don't go out of your way.

I came to Dayton originally to check out Skye Book & Brew. Low and behold it's a new brewery that is still somewhat under construction but was open. When I walked in I felt immediately welcomed by the very nice owners. I had never been to Skye when it was in this locations so I don't really know what the set up was like. It was like I said still under construction but coming together. I had the IPA because that usually my flavor. It was really malty with a light clean hop flavor. The malt stood out the more over the hops. It was good and I would suggest it if you are opposed to hoppy IPA's. I got a taster of the Red that turned out well and the Scottish Ale. The Scottish Ale was great, very east to drink with allot of chocolate flavor. It was poured out of normal tap but I think that it would do well on a creamer or poured on nitro. They also had a number of food items that seemed about a dollar to high but looked good. I had a German dog and it was good and was a decent portion. My overall experience was good and If I'm in the area I'll make sure I stop by and check up on the progress.

I ordered a $10.50 Blue cheese burger that was supposed to have bacon and jalapenos flavored blue cheese. I got the most disgusting burger that I've ever had in my life--it was a precooked burger patty that they MICROWAVED. I couldn't even finish it, it tasted so gross. They sprinkled bacon bits into the mystery cheese that was microwave-melted on top. No discernible jalapenos flavor. Side of fritos, and super mediocre soup. Totally not worth $10.50. I wouldn't have even ordered if I had known they would have served a microwaved burger patty--SO GROSS!!!
