One of the first places to open in the sleepy little town of Coupville. Come here for some decent espresso made with local organic milk or just some brewed coffee and a locally baked danish. Then step outside sit back and watch the mist clear off of penn cove... Absolutely lovely.

I love this place for many reasons. William is truly lovely. He's knowledgable, he works hard and he has great customer service skills. I really enjoy chatting with him on my coffee breaks. The location is fantastic, if you like coffee with a view, this is your kind of place. I love that it's a local shop. I think supporting local businesses as a member of the community or as a tourist is important. It's hard to break the chains. I am definitely a Starbucks junky but if every town had a place like this I would certainly break away. I also love that the coffee is good. Better than good. I've had way too many mediocre cups of expensive coffee for my liking. The shop also sells local goodies, which is a nice and tasty touch. I would highly recommend stopping in.

I spent the whole day driving around the island looking for a quiet place to think. I finally found this little gem. It's small and there are only a few tables but it he ambience is wonderful. There is great nautical artwork and photos on the walls, and they sell all kinds of island made goodies. The owner is a really kind man who cheerfully made me the most delicious drink, vanilla almond milk with a little chai--he calls it the Elizabethan. I stayed to watch the sunset over the water with my hot cup in my hands and listened to the quiet. It was absolutely perfect.

Recc'd by a local we met on the street. Very personable owner. Great coffee. Had a triple tall Americano, daughter had a mocha. Uses organic milk products from Whidbey. Nice touch.

Great place to find local coffee (as the name suggests). Decent prices, and friendly staff.

What a charming establishment! A better location cannot possibly be found for viewing the scenery - but, if that were all there was to Local Grown, I would not bother to leave a review. I ordered my standard, an Americano, which was perfect. The owner was in the process of making the breakfast goodies fresh when I got there, so how could I resist a biscotti? Full of nuts and dried fruit, a true treat. Last, his conversation and charm made me want to sit down and stay longer than I could. Go there and sit a bit. It's worth it!

This is my favorite coffee shop - and I don't even drink coffee! I always come here when I need a warm drink - he has all local coffee, and all the merchandise in his shop is local as well. Wine, soap, syrups, jams, sauces, cds, posters, art, coffee, mugs, and toffee! Great spot, too! Well worth the walk out on the warf :)
