Went to Remlinger for a company event not to pick berries, so my review of this place should be based on that assumption. My family arrived in the afternoon and found plenty of parking and helpful staff in the lot that directed us in the general direction where we could check in. This is where our trouble started when we were "greeted" (I use the term very loosely) by a younger gal who oozed a "I'd much rather be somewhere else today" attitude that left us a little disenchanted. After our company spent almost $10K I would expect a little more energy and possibly a "Welcome to Remlinger" or "Hope you have a great time", instead it was "here's your wrist band and some coupons." Not to be deterred, we made our way down to the picnic area which was nicely decorated and laid out. BBQ'd burgers, veggie burgers, and hotdogs, steamed corn, coleslaw, and baked beans was on the menu. All the food was "Meh" (pretty average) for a picnic, the burgers were grilled over charcoal but lacked flavor, the beans were terrible - overcooked, mushy and overly sweet, one bite and the rest went to the bin, luckily the corn was fresh and cooked perfectly, but if I was to collectively rank the overall experience I'd have to say I've had better at my daughters elementary school cafeteria. Started thinking about heading into the amusement park area but was surprised that we were only offered a $2 off coupon. For my crew that would have been $30, not the end of the world but I seem to remember my wife bought a Groupon that provided 50% off, so was a little miffed - again remembering the $10K already spent and the lackluster energy of the staff - so decided to cut our losses and left early. Overall, it's a beautiful place but the aloof energy from the staff definitely has room for improvement.

Wife dragged me from my computer to come here and pick berries. I ended up having a lot of fun. I imagine this is what Knott's Berry Farm in southern California used to be before it turned into a year round theme park. For me, I've been loving the Remlinger Farm coffee I sometimes get in the store and this was a great opportunity to see the place firsthand. We drove up, went into the store and grabbed some coffee and a sandwich to keep us fueled for picking berries. They have so much delicious looking food and jarred preserves and vegetables it's impossible NOT finding something to buy. We were going to go into the park proper but two adults in with a lot of children when the wife and I were only interested in riding the train...not so much. BUT...not unreasonable in terms of cost. In any case, we were there to pick berries so we got to it. Strawberries were first on the list and we went out to the field and picked away filling a flat with a few pounds of tiny, flavor packed strawberries. We then repeated the process for raspberries. Equally as delicious. After picking several pounds of fruit which happened a lot faster than I thought it would we cropped out, and headed back to the blueberry field we saw on the drive in located away from the main fields tied to the store and park. Blueberries are delicious here and the field was fairly empty of people so we ended up spending more time as there was less competition. Overall, this was a fun trip and great for a family. The berries are so sweet they will be dessert all by themselves. Super fun and I love when farms open themselves to the public at large. Makes for such a great life experience.

Took our 18month old for an august visit to Remlinger. We arrived at 10 and were first into the park for a train ride, 2 car rides, 2 pony rides. 2 hours seemed to be the right amount of time. Yes it is pricey and the bathrooms and parking lot, entrance/exit is a long walk away. However it's a fraction of the price and cost of disney, so we had a good time without any hassle. There are signs posted everywhere about not bringing outside food inside. Toddlers get hungry on demand, so we were discreet when passing our little one some snacks at a picnic table. Seems to be an unreasonable/unfriendly policy since small kids can't necessarily eat things from the market and/or the food stands.

I was irritated that they charged full price for an 18 month old and alot of the animals weren't out to pet, but for $11.95 (go to their website and print off coupons for discounts on admission, food, etc.) there really is alot to do. Even at a little age, he was able to ride the train, the canoes, "steer" the antique cars and pet the animals. The staff was very helpful and we stopped in the restaurant for a snack. The burger and fries was a generous portion---enough to share and the ice cream is delicious! We'll be back.

Every time we go my son had a great time there is a lot to do and see but the only reason I'm going to give 3 stars is because of the food, it takes forever to get a side of fries

We just got back from picking raspberries there and a few strawberries, kinda late for strawberries (first week of July). The strawberries were tiny, kinda picked over, but very sweet. Wound up buying a frozen bag of whole strawberries for like $12.99 (3lbs), I prefer the whole berries frozen without sugar so I can use them later in the year for ice cream, shakes, etc. The fresh sliced strawberries at Biringer Farms up north are sugared already and not good for making jams. The raspberries were kind of disappointing. The canes were sort of sickly looking and the berries had a lot of white spots either from too much sun (we had 90 degrees temps earlier in the week) or from some sort of fungus. It took forever just to get two pounds of decent sized berries and even those were pretty tasteless. If you're hunting for great tasting kick-ass large raspberries, see my review for Biringer Farms, they had fantastic strawberries and raspberries last week. I give the restaurant 5 stars for their excellent fish n' chips, crunchy fresh and succulent....the reuben sandwich more like a 2 star effort. Gals running the service a 5! Don't have kids to take to the park, but noticed if you get there anytime after 12noon, be prepared for a lot of cars in the lot, people in the fields and families in the amusement park area. We arrived around 10 a.m. and parking in the main lot was ample. We did the corn maze a few years ago, and it is pretty small, so don't get your hopes up too much. It's a fun experience overall for young and old, just don't expect too much.

The Emerald City Walkers (see review) had their fall walk at Remlinger Farms (the weekend before Halloween). That's pretty much the only reason why I would ever drive out there. Remlinger Farms itself is huge, the grounds are lovely (a couple horses along the way, and photo cut-outs (see one in my album), restrooms, and playgrounds throughout)--they have a lot of stuff going on. They must realize that folks do a hefty drive out there so it has to be worth their time. I felt like it was worth it. The market had fresh veggies, jarred veggies/jams, spices, grains (pre-packaged soup mixes, gluten free baking mixes, oatmeal mixes, trail mix), frozen fruits, their PIEs, homemade soaps/candles/jewelry, wine tastings. So, there's just a lot of stuff. Choosing is hard. There is a cafeteria which smelled really good (BBQ!!) and a large eating area for all the families who made it out. They have a carnival area that costs admission, so I naturally steered away from it. heh. But there was a steady flow of people going in and out of that part. Oh and parking! They had attendants helping guide people on where to park. You know there's always someone who parks where it's really meant as a pass-through or parks crooked or something. These guys helped out a lot. It was on a grassy mushy field, but walkable. And so, nice place to check out if you have the time. When you get there you really have to decide what you want to buy. I left with some pickled sweet baby corn and some strawberry/fig preserves. I could have bought a ton more though. The jars were a good size too, definitely worth the price $6!

The Harvest Fest they have there is from late Sept-Oct 30 is a must for those of you with small kids. You pay one fee to get in and then you can ride all the rides as much as you want. They have the rides coded for the size of the child. The rides are specifically for kids 2-10. There is a nice little train ride, a little roller coaster, flying pumpkins, etc.. Also small animals to view and pony rides. For a cost there are some food offerings. Hands down best caramel apples! Oh yeah, and you can buy a pumpkin to take home. Really for the overall cost and amount of variety here it is the best place to take kids to get their pumpkin as it is pumpkins and so much more (I've been to all of the main pumpkin patches around this area). On the last few weekends before Halloween get there early to avoid lines at the rides. Also check it out in the summer - same thing just no pumpkins and caramel apples.

A fun experience picking strawberries! A bit unorganized, but it was still fun! At $1.50 per pound, what more could you need? We also checked out the market and bought a bag of corn nuts & another of assorted nuts. Great, fresh, and crunchy!

I bought a groupon to Remlinger Farms because I heard it was a great place to bring kids. We visited on a Sunday with our 2 and 4 year old and had a blast. I wish we had known to bring a picnic basket. They do offer a restaurant and lots of indoor seating but we didn't look at the menu, only purchased drinks. There were so many activities for little kids. BY little kids, I would guess ages 8 and under would really be able to enjoy all the rides. My kids rode on some small carnival type rides, old-time cars, a train, little canoes/boats, pony rides, played in a giant sandbox and played on an old school bus and fire truck. They had some farm animals you could pet and a big hay maze also. I wish there was a place to buy concessions in the adventure park area instead of having to walk all the way to the front of the park and through the market/gift shop. I would think a small stand with just drinks for purchase would make a lot of sense financially on a hot day. It did seem a little busy on a nice Sunday afternoon but I guess that is what can be expected on a weekend and with so many groupons sold.

Went here on an obvious "off" day as there were about 10 cars and about 10 people standing around. The wafts from the kitchen were amazing though, with lots of what looked like workers chowing down. My brother and I went here to get some last minute photos of the kids first Halloween. After an unsuccessful trip to another pumpkin patch a few miles away, this place was no better. We did wind up buying a frozen pumpkin pie and some dried mangos, but that's about it. We also managed to snap off a few decent Halloween pics in and around the farm.

We just spent the afternoon at Remlinger and I have to say - save your money! Where to start - only one place to buy lunch (hamburgers or pizza) and after waiting 20+ minutes in line in the blazing sun, we were served by an incompetent, lackluster sales person who clearly had other things on her mind. The food was blah. $40 for lunch for four (and no better options - they tell you "no outside food" - you'd think they would offer lots of choices.) The place is so run down - I tripped coming out of a ride line because there was a good 3" rise from the gravel line to the concrete sidewalk, no one came to my aid at all, and I was bleeding from my hand. In general there were very few employees to be found anywhere except one per ride manning the controls. There were two sprinklers running on the sidewalks which seemed to entertain the hot toddlers, but created a huge puddle (hello, slip and fall hazard!) For $48 entrance and $40 worth of food for a below-average lunch, you can find better ways to spend a Saturday. The place seems totally outdated and poorly managed. Don't waste your time or money.

Overall, I'd give this place 4 1/2 stars, but I'll round up to 5 stars weighing time spent at each location. Here's how I'd break this place down, since many people only do parts of this: 1. County Fair - Train, pony rides, mechanical fair rides - 5 stars 2. U-pick - Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, then Pumpkins - 4 stars 3. Farm Stand - Produce, canned goods, etc - 4 stars 4. Restaurant - 4 stars This is definitely a great place to take the kids, especially under 6 years. I'm not comparing this place to Knott's Berry Farm, or Disney Land, but reviewing this simply as a fun, low stress place to spend some time with the family. The highlight is the county fair with pony rides, train rides, and mechanical rides, all included with admission (around $18/pp over the age of 1). Lines are never very long, and rarely do you wait more than 10 minutes even on a nice weekend day in the Summer. Park is compact, so even my 2 year old can walk from place to place without needing a stroller, although if you stay with a younger napping child over the nap hours, it would be handy. Yes, there are times that certain parts of the county fair are closed for employee lunch breaks (either mechanical rides or pony and train rides, never all at once), but these are clearly posted. U-pick is pretty standard. Park in the grassy area in front, everything you need is provided and they just charge you by weight of picked goods. Farm stand prices and selection are decent. Only a small portion of goods here are actually grown on Remlinger Farms, the rest are things you could get at any grocery store. Canned fruits are available with the Remlinger Farms label as are other things like pie filling, coffee beans, etc but it's not clear where these came from. Quality is great, though. Restaurant is decent and air-conditioned. A bit pricey, but you can get 10% off with a Season pass to this place. Good kid's and adult selection. Nice kid's play area in back. The cinnamon bread is the highlight to take home. Overall, great day out with the family. Do the whole package - County fair, restaurant, U-pick, buy some produce to take home.

Took the wife and kids to pick pumpkins here during the Harvest Festival. Pay one fee, and access to all of the rides; the kids had a good time, and enjoyed the train ride around the farm to view the animals. The only downside is that it's a bit expensive (close to $70 for two adults and two kids) but other than that, it's a good, fun weekend event for families.

We had a great time here with our two year old. There were lots of age appropriate rides for kids about 2-5 years old. The train was a fun treat for the whole family, and the antique cars were adorable. My son really had a blast. Due to reading bad reviews about the food & cost, we all ate in the car on the way there to avoid eating food there. This place is great and we will definitely be back. The cost this time of year is $18 each, including all children over age 1. Their gate price is high, but everything is included such as the rides, and you get a bracelet as you come in. One star removed because they should really be offering a discounted admission for young children, in my opinion.

I love love love love love this place. The boyfriend and I come here every year to go berry picking. It started with raspberry picking 2 years ago, then blueberry and raspberry picking last year, and today we just got back from raspberry and strawberry picking and are awaiting blueberry season at the end of the month. We also come here in October for our pumpkins. I love the u-pick. It's so much fun and it's amazing to see how big the raspberries can get. We also love to go to the little store they have and buy produce. We've got some amazing corn, tomatoes and asparagus in the past. Today we picked up some frozen peaches (sangria, here I come!), tomatoes, and *drumroll* a bottle of cherry chocolate wine. That's right...what the heck is cherry chocolate wine?!?! I have no idea, but I had to give it a go as soon as I saw it. The boyfriend is skeptical, but I couldn't walk past it without trying, right?!?! Anyhow, we also had lunch at the restaurant they had inside. We both ordered the cheeseburger, I got the fries and he got the potato salad. Skip the potato salad and get the fries. The fries were perfect! Overall, I can't really say anything bad about this place. I feel like a little kid when I'm here and have so much fun!

We love this place! So much old fashioned fun! The rides are great (I have a 7,6 and 2 year old) and most of them are good for all ages, my husband and I even go on them with the kids! If you go on the weekdays there are hardly lines for them at all. The animals are fun, and the kids love the pony rides. We love to eat at the restaurant! It's one of my favorite parts of going. Their food is great! We love going to Remlinger, totally worth the drive from Seattle!

This review is of the farm store only. I thought it would be nice to support our local farms and all that good stuff, so we took a trip out there in the middle of October. What we found in the farm store was very disappointing. It was hard to tell what produce was from the farm and what was produce from out of state. Some of the produce was wrapped- like the cauliflower, and the label said it was from California. The jams and other canned foods said "Prepared for Remlinger Farms," so it wasn't clear where they came from or who made them. To sum it up, we drove all that way to find the same stuff that's at my local QFC. Definitely not worth the trip.

If you want to get some homemade pepper jelly or jars of stuffed olives or you want to pick some pumpkins or buy a bumbleberry pie or individually quick frozen fruit or ride in a flying pumpkin this is your place. I've only ever been here for their "Famous October Fall Harvest Festival" so I'm not sure what else goes on during the year but during the festival you can go into the Country Fair Fun Park where they even let the adults ride the mini roller coaster and flying pumpkins and on top of that you can pick your own pumpkin too! I guess I should add kids are allowed to ride them too, it's a great place to take the family for the day, and it's less than $15 a person to ride the rides. I will say if do go pick a pumpkin please don't wear your Jimmy Choo's, Ferragamo, Prada's or John Fluevog's wears some own nasty old tennis shoes because the fields are MUDDY and if you're like me your shoes will end up ruined. :( I guess I should add they are only open May to October so don't think about going any time soon. And during spring and summer they have you pick berries, kind of like the you pick pumpkins but berries instead.

  • Michelle S.

A little pricey to get in ($60 for a family of 4 during the spring berry festival), but good for a treat for the kids. I wouldn't recommend it for a child over about 7, but my 4 and 5 year old had a grand ol' time! Once you get past the initial cost, there's tons for kids this age to do. Many, many rides, including a mini ferris wheel, lots of rides to make you super dizzy, pedal cars on a fun track, antique cars, etc. We were there for 2 hours (had to go home for nap) and we only probably saw about 1/2 of the stuff there was to see! I wish they would open earlier or stay open later, so we could get more time for our money. Even given that, we're planning to go back again at least once more this summer! We've also been to Remlinger to pick strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Pretty good patches for all 3 kinds of berries, very inexpensive. Good for an hour's entertainment for the whole family for $5. Can't beat that!

Place is overpriced at $12.00 for ages 1+. I find it ridiculous that unlike most other parks, that there are no discounted prices for kids. $50,00 for a family of four is very unreasonable for what you get. (If you must go, it seems like every year they have a 2-1 for one on Groupon that we took advantage of.) What do you get in the park itself? Maybe a dozen small kids rides, a pony ride and a train. Not much else. The only thing daddy would be interested in the mini-rollercoaster was closed for maintenance that day. Be warned that at around 1:30 or so all the rides will shut down for a half hour so they can go to lunch! ROFL. Ridiculous they all have to go to lunch at the same time. Why can't they stagger the lunch times and maybe hire a couple extra employees. Already, our time was really limited as unfortunately, we went on a Sunday. By the time we got there, we only had several hours until the park closed at 4:30pm. 4:30? Come on. You pay all this money for just a couple hours. Even worse, we came on a very congested day. Having the park open until 4:30 or even 6:00 on a weekday is not late enough when you're waiting 30-45 mins for many of the rides. In short, if you want to go on rides, just make a trip to Wild Waves and spend some more. It'll be worth it. Now we did not pick berries or some of the other activities. This is just a rating for the main park area. Perhaps we'd have more fun doing those things instead.

It was a good afternoon trip for my six year old but not quite what I expected. The kiddie rides, the farm animals, the train and the live show with minimal people makes it great for little ones. If you have little kids (under 8) they will love it but it is kind of expensive to get in (unless you get a deal on groupon like I did) and the food is very expensive and no outside food is allowed in the park.

Great place for young kids. My 3 y/o daughter had a blast here. We really liked the following things: 1) everything was appropriate for her 2) the "country fair" was relatively compact & 3) the combination of rides, animals and the old schoolbus made for an awesome day out. For us, this is a no-brainer since we live nearby. We'll definitely be back.

Last weekend we visited Remlinger Farms for some pumpkin hunting. The crop was not as good as it has been in the past but we did find a few worth hauling by hand back to our vehicle. The day rapidly improved when we decided to visit the rides inside. A bit steep in price but well worth it. Memories I know my children will have for years. This has been confirmed as my daughter still remembers the name of the pony from a ride last year. The restaurant inside also is spendy and limited in choices so eat heartily prior to going. Don't forget to take the train ride (paid for with entry fee). It's a wait but watching your children's faces glow, hearing the laughter and excited voices as they try to point everything out is priceless.

Fun place to spend time shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as arts and crafts. Pick up something for dinner, a gift for that weekend party, and locally made PupCakes Bake-At-Home Mixes for the dog. The kids love the animals, dad loves the atmosphere and farm equipment, and mom loves the fresh produce!

My friends and I made the trek out to Carnation last Sunday, pumped and super excited to pick some strawberries at the Summer Strawberry Festival. I checked the website the morning of our drive, just to be sure we had the correct address, time, event dates, etc. and nothing appeared out of the ordinary. However, upon arrival, we entered the main building, eagerly sauntered up to the counter, asking "How do we get to the strawberry fields?" to which the woman replied, "Oh...the fields were rained out, there's no u-pick strawberries this year." So....no strawberries....at all? We were VERY disappointed, seeing as we'd already been brainstorming future culinary creations for our just-picked strawberries on the drive up. Not only that though, there was ZERO indication of this "rain-out" on the website, which would have been helpful - don't you think? We made the most out of our visit, grabbing 5 spoons to share a mini strawberry-rhubarb pie in the Remlinger cafe, picked up some fresh produce and canned goods, but it was still quite a bummer, especially considering we had planned ahead to attend this festival and drove all the way from Seattle... NOTE TO REMLINGER - in the future, PLEASE let the people know!!!

We went and picked raspberries at the U-pick fields yesterday. They had so many and there were tons of strawberry-sized ones. Crazy jumbo sized! The fields were larger than expected, and make sure you go far enough back in the rows to get loads of them. We picked waaaaaaaaay more than we needed for our recipes, but oh well. More to freeze and enjoy later--raspberry jam, raspberry crumb cake, raspberry muffins, raspberries in salad . . . . hehe. It cost $2 per pound, so a great deal along with great fun in picking! You can also stop by the store and pick up other goodies (at the store you can buy raspberries too, but it costs more than the U-pick). One final tip: the raspberries are organic, so give them a brief inspection for buggies as you pick them and pop a few in your mouth!

While the kiddos had a great time, the adults in the party were less than thrilled to have to stand in the rain and drizzle throughout the day. Theme-park-wise, I'd give this place 3 stars, basically this is the for younger mindset. Nothing at this place is going to make the youngsters get sick and toss up that $9.00 hamburger you bought for lunch. Actually the weekend we were there, none of the food stalls were open. There is little to no covered areas to stand/sit while waiting for the cloud burst to pass by, unless of course you want to stand next to the allergy inducing "hay stack" and maze area. The place is cute, just remember it's more of a petting zoo with a couple of older traveling carnival rides tossed in. Pony rides were included in the entry price, so you could make it worth your while if your kiddo rides about 4-5 times. Fresh fruit and produce-wise, I'd give this place 4 stars. They still produce a great berry pie here. Local growers sell their fruit to the farm and in turn they produce their own brand of jams, jellys, various pickled items and the famous fruit pies. During the off season you can purchase the frozen ones if you are jones'n for something special. Product looked solid and the prices did seem fair. The accompanying knick-knack shop had a large selection of John Deer farm equipment toys, I never knew they had such a line! Because of the weather parking and the lines for the rides were non-factors. I would go back for the train ride, it was about 30 minutes long, ran every hour on the hour, and gave a nice tour of the grounds. Plus our youngest, 4yo, luved it!

Fun country store, great holiday themed decor, pumpkin patch is fun, and lots of parking. Minus one star for long checkout lines and a confusing layout that makes IKEA look easy to navigate by comparison.

SO MUCH FUN! We take a trip out to the pumpkin patch here every fall, and this place never disappoints. They have a fantastic amount of rides and a great pumpkin patch. I highly recommend it for the young and the young at heart

I grew up going out to Remlinger Farms with my family as a kid, so I've always had a soft spot for this place. We went over the weekend and picked about 8 lbs. of raspberries... there are SO many berries! It costs $2/lb (cash only at the U-Pick!) which seemed like a good deal until we went into the market and saw they were for sale for the SAME PRICE as they were for the U-Pick. Not a huge deal, as the experience is half the fun. We had planned on grabbing lunch at the cafe in the market after picking berries... however, my fiance went back to the market to get some cash for the U-Pick and came back saying he was not so sure about the cafe as all he saw was pre-made sandwiches wrapped in plastic! We checked out the market anyway and the cafe- it is more of a grill (chicken strips, burgers, etc.) with some sandwiches. Nothing to write home about. Funny how as a kid, that was the coolest place to eat of all time... Anyway, the market is great with tons of fresh produce and specialty items made there. My favorite is the bag of "A-maizing corn snacks" which are similar to Corn Nuts but SO much better. They are seriously to die for... we like the original flavor the best. It's a fun place to go and check out but probably not a "we do this every summer!" type of thing. They do have a whole section with activities for kids that we didn't check out but was packed.

This place is a blast for the 2-5 year old crowd. I took my son out there (nice drive) and picked some u-pick berries, then went in to the amusement park area. It was pretty expensive to get in... maybe $12-15/person (over 1 year old). The rides would be pretty lame to anyone over 7-8 years old, but my nearly 3 year old son LOVED it, especially the train ride. I took him on the small roller coaster. It was too scary for him. As a roller-coaster enthusiast, I can say there's nothing here for people like me. :) Good clean family fun was had by all.

I was recently reaquainted with Remlinger Farms after many years. On a lazy Sunday afternoon I had the brilliant idea of making fresh treats, and when doing a quick search remembered the u-pick farms at Remlinger Farms. When we got out to the farm I was saddened to hear that it had not been a good year for their crops so most of the fields had been shut down early. My disappointment was quickly met with excitement when the lady let me know that it was the first day (this was in September) of their fall festival which featured a corn maze, hay rides, and naturally PUMPKINS! My boyfriend and I hopped a-top the hay ride tractor for a quick trip over to the patch where pumpkins of all sizes and shapes were to be found. You couldn't go one step without running into at least 10 pumpkins! After our fun frolicking in the fields we returned to the farm store where we bought their famous pies and fresh fruits and veggies at very cheap prices. Overall a great day trip, and I can't wait to return next summer for fresh berry picking.

My first-ever visit to Remlinger Farms was thwarted by berry blight. I was all set to have a berry-pickin' good time. I packed up the fam and took a chance despite the ominously cloudy sky, and was quite pleased with myself when we got there and the sun peeked out at us. Yippee! This shall be a wondrous day of berry picking, train riding, and animal feeding, thought I. We passed through the barn-like country store full of produce, canned goods, toys, knick knacks, and clothes, and marched into the restaurant to partake of some down-home cookin' and store up some energy for the berry pickin' extravaganza. The restaurant was a large, open barn space with a log-cabin-ish theme in the food ordering area, and a couple of large seating areas surrounded by walls decked out to look like the fronts of farm buildings. My grilled cheese was nothing special, but I thought they had a decent family-friendly menu offering various burgers and both hot and cold sandwiches. The salads looked really good, but I did not partake - I figured fresh berries would count as my health food for the day. We didn't do dessert, since we planned on sampling our berries right away, but there were plenty of tasty looking pies and cookies to tempt us, not to mention the ice cream stand. Something to try next time, though, will be the take and bake pies. Yum! Anyone with kids should make time to let your little one climb all over the model train engine - this was an attraction that was hard to tear the little ones away from! On to the berry fields. Whaaaaaaat??? No berries??? Apparently this year's crop succumbed to blight, and there is no picking to be had. Well, crap. But we're here, and I heard there's a petting zoo and a little train ride for the kiddies, so let's go check it out. I'm all for supporting local farmers, and if I have to ride a tiny train to do it, I'll make that sacrifice. We donned our eleven-dollar paper wrist jewelry (admission bracelets) and headed into the farm, stopping every few yards to stick our heads through the cutouts painted with various farm animals and vehicles. Here we are with bee wings, here we are in the school bus, here we are on the tractor, haha, heehee, hoho... Inside the farm, there is another food stand/coffee bar serving popcorn, coffee, and other snacky treats. This is attached to a little theater that offers music and performances throughout the day. The farm also offers several carnival-type rides, including a mini ferris wheel, roller coaster, and teacup-type spinny ride. There are also pony rides, a petting zoo, and a miniature steam engine that does a little loop around one end of the property. I'd say the train ride is worth it. There are some animals on the farm that you only get to see if you take the train. They've also set up some random diorama displays featuring chainsaw carvings and half-stuffed scarecrows in rubber masks that are bizarre and kind of creepy, and thus rather amusing. I think the optimal age range for kids coming to Remlinger is probably somewhere between 4 and 10. Our group ended up being both too young and too old to make good use of most of the attractions, and with the let down of being berryless, we were kind of disappointed. Overall, though, I'd say this is a fun day trip for the family if you know what you're in for. I plan to come back when we are a better match for the fun to be had.

Small place with kiddie rides that aren't great and not bad. I think it's more for little kids and our 2-yr old had fun. For a place that doesn't allow outside food or drinks, they should offer good food and more stores. We waited 45 minutes just to get cheeseburgers, fries and drinks, and it wasn't even good. Other families we talked to said the same thing and that we should just keep telling ourselves it's the best burger we've ever had so as not to feel bad about waiting 45 minutes to get food. They also don't have any kids meal. What a shame for a place that makes their business from kids! Adults don't and won't go there if not for their kids. Pizza, hotdog, and burgers are not exactly kiddie food and while some kids eat them, most don't. I'm glad I brought my kids snacks or they would've starved and we would've had to leave immediately. If you plan to go to Remlinger Farms, I suggest you sneak in your kids foods and yours also if very plain and bland burgers, hotdogs and pizzas are not your cuppa tea.

Way WAY back when, when KTown was just 'Kateshmate' (yes, the nickname dates back to the early 90's) I had the.. errr.. memorable experience of working at Remlinger Farms. You see, as a teen, growin' up in DU-VALL, this was pretty much THE place to have your summer job. Minimum wage, working with your friends, free BBQ, and a sun tan.. why the hell wouldn't you work here? My first job at the farm lasted just 1 day. Here's the gist: I stood in the middle of a strawberry field from 10am to 4pm (don't worry, I got breaks) with a flag, marking where people had already picked. I think they probably figured that a,) I was a little too smart to be doing this for any more than one day, or b.) the Remlingers know my parents and any more time spent at this mundane position might not be a smart idea. And so, the next day they informed me I had been 'promoted.' They moved me straight over to.. you guessed it.. pony rides. Now, 3 weekends of shoveling big poops and walking ponies 'round and 'round and 'round a post graduated me to yet an even better position. Concession Stand. People, PEOPLE! This is where you want to work if you're employed at the farm. You get the PRIVILEGE of working with James, who honestly, is one of the funniest guys I've ever met. He's the Marionette Master behind their puppet show that runs about 5 times daily. He's great and I miss him dearly. I have these grandiose ideas about visiting him and catching up one of these days (yep, he's still there), b/c honestly we had some hilarious times. It was in the Snack Shack, that I learned how to make cotton candy, scoop perfect ice cream, and get that customer to go from a hot dog to a kielbasa by just batting my eyes. Now, about the farm. The pies are great! I buy them to this day. The berries are fab. Go to the farm to pick them. The pumpkins- yes, buy their pumpkins. The farm is perfect if you want to give the kids a good ol' wholesome October outing. Train rides, pony rides, a Marionette show, a petting zoo.. Come ON! Oh, and Gary Remlinger REALLY is a kind, good man and I have only great things to say about him. While the farm has grown tremendously over the years, it's maintained it's integrity. I haven't been there in a bit, but after writing this review, it's gotten me all nostalgic.. Think I'll probably head there sometime this summer.. if it isn't just to flip a weiner, or scoop some 'cream.

I'm sure this place is cool at other times of the year, but the second Saturday in October is a Bad Time to visit. It felt more like a theme park than a farm, there was traffic coming in, traffic coming out, over an hour wait for a burger and a hot dog, long lines in the pumpkin patch and everywhere you went crowds. It was just too much... not the day trip to the country we were hoping for. That being said, the grounds seemed pretty, the staff was friendly and there were pumpkins a'plenty.

My 4 years old daughter had a blast here. she loved the rides, lots of fun for her age. I bought produce and canned vegetable and fruits, i think for organic produce prices are good ($1.49 per pound for organic apples) vegetables and fruits were very fresh and tasty. we definitely will go back.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. We went here with our daughter and this place is like Disneyland for toddlers. They have a bunch of toddler friendly rides, a train that goes around the park/farm, a petting zoo, pony rides, trucks and buses that the kids can play in, and you can pick fruit and they have a farmer's market too! Don't tell anyone, but I liked it as well.

If you have young kids, you absolutely must take them here! For a reasonable admission price, they can go on unlimited rides in the "country fair" section, and even on beautiful, sunny summer weekends, there are never any long lines. Highlights include pony rides, a mini ferris wheel, a small roller coaster, old-fashioned cars that you can "drive" around a path, and an actual steam engine train that travels around the entire perimeter. Also check out the animal barn with plenty of cute goats, bunnies, etc. that you can feed and pet. The country fair is only open from May through the first week of September, but it opens again briefly in October. Their marketplace has a very good store with lots of fresh produce, a really fun (although fairly pricey) gift store, an excellent play area for kids (near the restrooms), a coffee stand, an ice cream counter, and a country-style restaurant that is always packed. They also have a place where you can pick your own produce, depending on the season. In the summer you can pick strawberries and raspberries. In the fall, they offer a great pumpkin patch.

Only $11/person to get in and that's a great deal. We spent some hours here with our 4 and 6 year old and our friends two 1 year olds. We all had a blast and enjoyed this hidden gem. We didn't do any of the U-Picks but we did sample all of the rides, the photo cut-outs, the farm animals, and the delicious magic bar and brownies next to the on-site restaurant. Plan a day and take the family, you will not be disappointed.

This rating is only about the Remlinger Farms Harvest Festival as it's the only thing I've been to. You may want to look at a different review if you are going to the market, pumpkin patch, strawberry picking, etc. The other thing to note is that we have a 2 yr old. If you don't have young kids, this may not have the same level of appeal. With that in mind, let me just say that I absolutely loved this place. Another reviewer mentioned to the effect that this is "Disneyland for Toddlers" and I completely agree. You pay a pricy entry fee which was around $15 for ages 1 and older at the time of this writing (though you can prepay on the web site and get Spring festival for free), but once you see what you're paying for, you start forgetting how much it cost. It was a nice day, and there were lots of people on this Saturday, but overall the lines weren't too bad. We spend almost the entire day there from 11am-5pm (they open 10-6), My daughter got to ride the roller coaster for the first time (it was fast, she commented), rode the boat, choo choo train (which was of decent length), pumpkin ride (like dumbo at seattle center where you can move yourself up and down), some spinning ride like the teapot (sorry not good with names), a giant slide that was blown up, Pony ride (they had 8-9 going at once was it was actually not that long of wait when we went), "Not So Scary" hunted house, hay maze, petting zoo (cows, donkey, goat), Stagecoach, and just some playground toys. Other rides she didn't go on included the caged Ferris Wheel (out of time) and Rock Climbing (too young), the firetruck, tractors, bouncing air thing (too young), shows, and more. There are also many pictured boards with holes where you stick your head through for pictures. As you get by now, there's just not enough time to go through everything in one day, and there's just so much to do. The food was reasonably priced, though if you eat around 12-1:30 be prepared to wait for quite some time for some items (burgers) but not for others (pizza). We also picked up a "hand-made" raspberry-peach pie on the way out, as you had to pass through the grocery store on the way out, and it was pretty good. This really is like a mini-Disneyland for toddlers. If you have toddlers in your family, you really need to bring them here to experience it first hand at least once. :)

Remlinger Farms is so damn big and it's many things to many people. Let me break it down for you, yo: *5 stars for u-pick berries. 5 stars mainly b/c I'm not familiar with any other farms in the area for berries, so by default...Plus Remlinger is pretty easy to get to from Seattle. *3 stars for the market/farm house restaurant area. It's massive, tons of family and kids running around, eating, etc. Great, if that's your thing *4 stars for the Ferrari owner's car show that was on one of their lawns. Wha? Random. Plus I LOVED the guy that parked his Toyota MR2 next to the Ferraris and tried to blend in. Hilarious. Definition of gumption.

I love this place. Go during the week if possible to avoid crowds. If you have kids under the age of seven its a perfect day trip. The cost is only $12.00 and that includes riding the ponies, amusement rides, animals, parks, hay maze, and shows. They have a nice cafe to eat at and fresh produce in there grocery store. Once your done for the day the kids will be fast asleep driving home. I highly recommend Remlinger farms!!!!

Great place for smaller kids. My 2 little girls loved the rides. Train ride was relaxing and offered a beautiful tour around the farm. The carnival-type rides were well-suited for younger kids and there were plenty of animals to observe, pet and feed. Older kids may find the rides a little boring since they don't have much of a thrill factor. Food in the restaurant was ok and reasonably priced. Carrot cake was a big surprise. Definitely one of the best I've ever had.

Terrible, just terrible. Last year some of the rides were closed in the middle of the day because the ride operators were on lunch break! Snack bars are open randomly, no way to ever know. The produce is over-priced, and most of it (and I mean most) is not from anywhere near their "farm".

Anyone have a little kid they want to lend me? Before you think I'm a pervert, it's because this is the funnest place in Western Washington to take little tykes. Truly. And my kids are teens, beyond such cute stuff. *sigh* You can pick your own strawberries, go on pony rides, pet bunnies and other farm animals, go on adorable "little kid" rides like a steam train, roller coaster and flying pumpkins, and jump in a haystack. You can buy handmade crafts and eat at the restaurant (get a salad made with the farm veggies) or bring your own picnic (they have tables). There's plenty of pavement for the stroller crowd, but enough of a "farm" feel for the little ones. Best way to spend a day with little kids. Hands down. No competition. So, got a kid?

We went out for the corn maze and were told that they don't sell tickets after 4:30, we spent 10 minutes trying to find a manager who rudely told us it is plainly visible on the website to arrive by 5 and when she went to the website she couldn't find it anywhere but rudely offered to then 20 minutes later let us in at full price. overpriced with rude employees who can't wait to go home

I came her with my girlfriend and my two year old niece for the kid park they have. She had a blast; for the train ride, we spend more time sitting and waiting than the actual ride. Not many animals to see on the ride... also has a good sized petting zoo and a few rides all included in the price. Definitely kid oriented. Good place to come with youngsters.

we really enjoyed our visit here. my son had a great time riding the train, sitting on all the different modes of transportation (old fire engine, school bus and tractors!) and was happy to be able to pet the goats in the barn area. we jumped in the hay maze, rode the pumpkin ride (making me a bit nauseous) and he rode his first pony and even asked to ride again a second time! there are many things to do for the little ones and the property has many animals and activities going on at once making it well populated, but not overly crowded...although we did go on a weekday.

Everyone's right... Remlinger may be slightly a tourist trap, but it is a lovely, clean, well-run place where your kids will get a big dose of fresh air and fun. Secret: You CAN go here without kids. In season, I find a few hours of u-pick raspberry picking to be VERY relaxing, meditative, and delicious. Nobody counts the ones you eat in the field (and after all, quality control is a VERY important part of the berry-picking ritual!), the sun is warm on your back, if you're brave, the dirt is cool between your bare toes, and, especially during the week, the fields are quiet except for the happy sounds of small children and birds. When you're done picking berries (and/or full of their sweetness) you can pay for your berries and then head over to the main farm building, where you might discover you're still hungry enough to have one of their excellent burgers here at The Country Kitchen yelp.com/biz/ned8jINpVh_… (seriously, I think they are some of the best burgers in the Seattle area, almost worth the drive all by themselves). If you are calm and quiet, and bring an apple or two, you can rub some horse or llama noses in the fields around the farm. I find that relaxing and enjoy just being quiet with these animals. The pumpkin fields in season are a riot, but there are other, cheaper small-family run u-pick places all around Carnation if you don't feel like dealing with the Remlinger buzz. The pony rides and amusement-park rides in the expensive fun area are a blast, and the kids will really enjoy the little petting barn too; the goats are especially excellent. This is actually a good place to have a birthday party and the staff is young but they do a good job with the kids and the snacks.

A lot of my friends call remlinger the Disneyland for toddlers! My toddler may still be a little young for the full experience but she highly enjoyed herself! We went to the raspberry patch prior to the farm and I couldn't believe how big the berries were! At $2/lb it's such a great deal and there's so many of them!! Super yum! I liked how the pony rides were included in the ticket price and my little one loved both the mini and big train rides. It was super hot so we didn't stay too long (plus we were running in to naptime) but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food could definitely be better and offer more healthier options other than burgers and chicken strips please. The kids meal came with a chocolate chip cookie and I'm saddened to say that it was a miss!

Mildly impressed. For the same price as a movie, my 1 1/2 year old daughter spent a good 2-3 hours here. Pros: Closest kiddie amusement park to Seattle & right next to AMAZING camping, so make a weekend trip out of it. Several easy going rides for the babies and some for the parents. Berry picking is super cheap and abundant, even at the end of the season, so definitely don't miss out! Several interesting animals, like peacocks and ponies (you can ride them!) Not crowded at all on a weekday. Ride the spinning pumpkins 10x in a row! Cons: Bags were not checked upon entry. Safety hazard? The petting zoo was unsupervised. Safety hazard? The park seems entirely run by teenagers who hate their job. From ride operators to pony handlers, no one looked above 16 or smiled once. In what was the only eatery open on a Friday (two options: overpriced hot dog or PB&J) there were three teenage workers congregated & one was loudly complaining about the park, her job requirements & having to clean up vomit earlier that morning. Honey, I get that sucks, but I'm trying to eat with my daughter here. Have some class. I had to wait for her to stop talking before I could order... AND get my food!

Who closes at 430 when the website says 6pm? Our oldest was invited to a birthday party there, we had out of town kids coming, website said closes at 6, so we decided to bring them out too. $70 bucks for one grown-up, one 13 year old, a five year old, a three year old and a two year old....for an hour and a half. We won't go back. Ever. There was two decent rides, a few kiddie rides and a "it's hot outside please only ride the pony once" pony ride. Total ripoff, we didn't get closer to seventy dollars worth. I would have maybe thought it even at half price, or if they stayed open until 6. Disappointed.

"Great place for family fun and outdoor adventures." Remlinger Farms is tucked away in the quiet city of Carnation. The 45 minute drive from Seattle was well-worth the journey as you are treated to a scenic view of the Northwest backroads. A large sign greeted us as we approached the strawberry patches. The parking lot is primarily on a grass area and the driveway is all gravel. There is a small stand located before the patches advertising drinks for sale and the price of picked strawberries ($1.50/lb). Wooden baskets were readily available before we entered the patches. We walked through many rows finding small and sweet strawberries. I recommend wearing good outdoor shoes as the ground conditions are dry and dusty. This past weekend was particularly hot and I strongly advise visiting the patches in the morning instead of afternoon. They only accept cash and there are no ATM machines. There was also no water to wash our hands after picking. Overall it was a great experience and fantastic chance to visit the other parts of Washington.

My family loves Remlinger Farm, but this image of this poor dog chained in the back of the house disturb my summer! Every time I came, when the weather was 96 degrees the dog still miserable outside! This house is located at the farm, by the parking lot, today I took picture and finally asked the manager, the dog belongs to an employee at the farm! A well know farm, that proclaims to treat the animals good, when let an employee treat their family dog like this? Horrible! Pictures attached!

My wifeand I went to my company picnic at Remlinger Farms on Sat August 29, 2015. We were late getting there as we had been blocked on the 405 freeway for 1.5 to 2 hrs due to 5 trees or so falling across the freeway. When the staff at Remlinger Farms heard our story they were very kind and considerate helping us make up the lost time and provided food for us. We had a great time seeing the animals, riding the train, and going to the gift shop and grocery store which have extensive items. The farm is located in a beautiful area and we would like to go back next year. We heartily recommend a visit to Remlinger Farms, especially for families with children.

Had a fun time picking rasberries with my family. Then went over to their food court. Food was "OK." The rest of the farm was great for my son's age (2 going on 3). They had signs next to the horses saying that due to the weather they were limiting rides.

I went here on a rainy October day for the annual Volkswalk that takes place here. The trail looped through Remlinger Farms property, and while I avoided the rides and attractions of the place I saw the beauty of the property. Large pumpkin patches stretched out filled with large, bright pumpkins. Corn fields bordered a steep hill path. Horse pastures were wide and well maintained. It was a beautifully serene walk. In the distance I could hear the occasional whoop and laughter from a ride, but I never was close enough to see it. After our walk, we went into the Farm store. We had no interest in paying for the weekend festivities as we did not have any children with us. There store is fairly large full of fun and delicious looking food from scone mixes to flavored butters. Apple butter is seriously delicious and should be eaten by any apple fan! There were pies, fresh bread, pasta, salsas, and all sorts of goodies in nifty little packages that were size manageable - not huge containers. We were able to check out within five minutes and were on our way. It was a lovely experience staying on the periphery of the madness beyond the gate.

Disclaimer: I don't have kids. I was with my friend and her family, which included a toddler. Kids seem to love this place. It's basically a kiddie amusement park. There are rides and a small petting zoo. However, the rides really are for kids only. All the parents looked uncomfortable and squished. Being October, there are even piles of pumpkins if you don't want to get them from the pumpkin patch. The food was meh and over-priced. They also only took cash. The "U-Pick Pumpkin Patch" is across the parking lot. There is also a corn maze, but we didn't check that out. There are wheel barrows, but you have to hunt them down. Several pumpkins were rotted, but my husband and I found 4 great ones. There are tons, so you won't leave empty-handed.

A nice little farm with animals to feed and rides to get on plus little trains and boats on top of pony rides! It's heaven for kids and whenever kids have fun and exhaust all that energy to be able to eat well and sleep well afterwards it's heaven for the grown ups! Nice drive into the park with convenient parking and great shady areas for lunch rest and naps! Adding it onto my good old kiddy places to go list!

Went here yesterday. It was a sunny warm Saturday and we arrived at opening time. The place was immediately crowded. There were screaming toddlers everywhere. If you have a toddler, I suggest going here because you will not feel out of place when your little tike yells and tantrums. Was not impressed with the food and restaurant. Food was kinda gross. Not impressed much with the store as there's nothing you can't get elsewhere. Lines were long and tedious in every part of the park. Not enough cashiers. And worst of all, there is only one restroom which you have to walk through the whole park and through the restaurant to get to. Highlights for my daughter were the pony ride, train ride, antique cars, and canoe ride. I realize that the heat of the day and crowds got to me, so if you enjoy that sort of thing, a weekend at Remlinger Farms may be just right for your family. So in conclusion: Long lines, not enough cashiers, not enough rest rooms, food sucks, screaming toddlers. Just some good ole' family fun, right?

I wanted to love this place. We went on a wednesday which was great because it wasnt crowded. Most of the staff was nice and helpful. The kids (5 & 7) had a great time on all the rides. There werent any lines. The steam train ride was very refreshing on a nice hot day. The ponies are so cute and named after fruits, vegetables, and spices. Now things I didnt like... You cant bring food in, but none of the food places were open to buy lunch. The store was overpriced which was expected, but what I didnt expect was everything seemed commercial, not from the farm and they only seemed to have a lot of condiments (dips and sauces). Nothing that someone could eat for lunch besides frozen pies. There was a sale on flats of blueberries for $20, brought them home and realized only about half of them are good, lots of squished and old ones. The place seemed centered on the rides and I was originally under the impression that it was more of a petting zoo. Theres not many animals to pet. They dont look in the best shape. The pens were filthy and the food bowls were empty. I seen one of the pigs eating feces because he was obviously hungry. 1/3 of the pigs looked to be in decent shape, one looked like he was about to kill over and has some kind of skin infection maybe? There wasnt enough space for them to lay down because of the huge dog house thing in the middle of the pen, Im pretty sure on a 90 degree day they didnt want to be in the big hot plastic tub. You cant pet the bunnies or chickens like at other farms. Theres also no one manning the petting area and there were a couple general rules posted so I didnt know if were allowed to open cages or not. The peacocks are caged. Theres an adorable little baby in there with them, but the dad is obviously stressed out as he is pulling out all his feathers :(. The place is beautiful and has potential, but lacks luster and seems to be making it by doing the bare minimum. I hope they make some changes because Id like to give them another try.

WARNING - Remlinger Farms charges $18 for my 1 year old, as if she was an adult. That's ridiculous!!! She only has energy for 2 hours, and you charge $18 full price? I would definitely NOT come back, and if you have little ones, I DO NOT recommend coming to this overly-charged farm. You can find any other farms that charges half that price and maybe free for child under 2 year old. Not much stuff for child less than 2 year old anyway, except the train ride. Refund please!

I completed my first 5k Survivor Mud Run this past weekend! the gounds were a great backdrop to the muddy fun! They have a train, a river, homemade pies, and lots of parking for just about every car in the state. I plan on doing another 5K in September and I am sure they wont disapoint then either! Maybe this time I'll ride the train and purchase a pie when I am done! Pumpkin season is right around the corner too!

I took my toddler here for the day, and I was amazed at the number of things there are to do! It was incredibly easy to keep him busy for hours with a variety of fun, unique activities. It's basically a little kids' amusement park, with small rides and attractions all over the place. A little roller coaster, a mini ferris wheel, a train ride, a little boat ride, pony rides, etc. He also loved the audience participation puppet show. The food had really good selection and a play area indoors, which was great. The only thing that would have made our experience better would have been if it was actually more farm-y, which is what I was expecting. They don't actually have very many animals to feed or pet. That being said, now that I know what to expect I'll definitely be back!

My kids love Remingler Farms. I can't say the berry picking is as good as other places to pick but the ride part is always a hit. We always get the Groupon and go in the summer on a weekday so often the lines aren't bad. It is a kid's place so the overall rating is based on my kids' enjoyment of the place.

This is the perfect activity for kids under about age 6 or 7, from what I could tell. The berry picking is fun of course, though maybe there are better locations for berry picking in the area - seems they get a lot of visitors here as the berries are a little thinned out. Good quality though. What surprised the kids was the carnival-like activities. Very nice! Admission is a little steep but worth it once you're inside, at least for the kids. There are a ton of activities once inside the gates: a train ride, pony rides, boat rides, mini ferris wheel, a pedal-car track, and much more. One of our favorites was the hay jump area which is basically a huge bouncy floor with a bunch of hay on top. We all enjoyed bouncing around in the hay and jumping in from above (we found it to be quite safe, a load off our minds). There was a lot to do so I recommend coming early. If you're thinking of doing some berry picking with the kids, might want to do that first as all the activities at the farm will definitely tucker them out. The quality of all the rides here and the amount of activities was very nice overall. Only taking a star away for the price, as the parents aren't able to do much here so paying about $15 per adult seems a little much to me. That said, go here for a treat and you won't be disappointed!

I bought two Groupons for Remlinger Farms so we could take our three year olds this summer. I had heard great things, had been prepared for the high cost of everything inside, so we looked forward to our visit today. We were not disappointed! Unfortunately my husband was sick, so I took the kids on my own. They let me use both Groupons, so I didn't have to pay for one of the children like I expected. There were 7 kid sized amusement park type rides I can remember. I was able to go on two with them, the others were just for the kids which was just fine with our boy, but our girl had to watch him several times before she was brave enough to try them. They liked them all except the roller coaster which was a very fast and bumpy ride. We also enjoyed riding the train! We didn't get to the pony ride or cars because nap time was way overdue, but we'll be sure to get to them early in the day next time!

My kids are both teens now, but they CLEARLY remember every year when we took them to Remlinger's, each fall, and they LOVED it. It is the BEST place ever, and I'm so glad they have these memories. Every year, even when they were in strollers, we came here. It is an excellent place for babies and youngsters/toddlers. There are a gazillion stuffed scarecrows mounted on every post (thousands, it seems), and wooden cutouts in which to stick your face and take photos. In other words, lots of photo-worthy shots. There are animals, ponies for the kids to ride (this was the place of my kids' first pony rides ever), a theater with kid-friendly performers and singers and shows, a steam train with whisle-blowing and complete with circuitous ride through the park and through a tunnel (always a huge hit with the young 'uns!), kiddie corn mazes, kiddie rides (including a roller coaster and ferris wheel. Again, my kids' first rides ever), and probably now lots more attractions since we were last inside the park here. There are pumpkin patches and hay rides outside, too, and again these afford lots of great photo opportunities. Even though we came here every fall, it was a big splurge for us, as I always felt the admission price was steep. However, the cost does include everything, and you can really make a day of it, so I guess it's worth it. For our family, for a fun outing with the family every fall, it was always worth it. The restaurant is over-priced and only so-so. We came here a few times in the past year, en route from other destinations, and were reminded how mediocre the restaurant is. However, there is an attached kiddie room, with games and a big, older, foam-filled train to climb on. Despite being super old and worn, when my kids were young, they really loved climbing on this train structure! It's nothing to look at, but toddlers adore it. The restaurant is located in the building that houses the produce market and craft store. There is no charge to get into this building, and we still go yearly here to buy some fresh produce, gourmet condiments and sauces, and of course, pick up some famous, frozen Remlinger Farms pies (you bake them yourself). There are a gazillion flavors and all are amazing! When we were last here (last weekend), they were making humongous trays of huge caramel-covered apples. OMG, they were so big and looked so SO good! Plus they had a wine-tasting event going on. I like how they have local wines and dressings and marinades and gourmet pastas. It's a good place to stock up on gifts. The crafts store is a bit too cutesy-wootsie for me, but of course there are people who love this kind of stuff: handmade aprons and scarves and beaded necklaces and crocheted stuff.

So I am torn I really wanted to love this place. From the descriptions sounded like my 16month old would have a blast. Rides made just for little kids. Don't get me wrong they have great rides for kids. But you pay full price for kids over 12 months and my daughter couldn't go on most the rides. It would of made more sense for it to be two and under free. That aside they have a great market area with household items, toys and food! The theater was fun. The guy who sings really loves kids! A small selection of animals to look at. Overall fun idea, just don't feel like I got value for my buck.

Meh... I could probably do without this place. The front desk told me there we 25 rides inside... Really? Hmm. I sure didn't see 25 once I got in. I think for older children this probably is a miss. But younger kids will probably enjoy it. My 9 yo was going to come unglued when I asked her if she wanted to ride the boats with her little brothers. The little pies are good though. We bought two and brought them home. Marionberry and apple. Yums. Probably will not be coming back anytime soon. I felt like I was in another country. There were so many other nationalities there I felt like a minority Caucasian family. Most of them were rude as hell too. Cutting in line. BARGING their way around, not saying excuse me. Just made me want to flatten a few of them for being what i consider rude.

We bought a Groupon 2 for $18 and had lots of fun. My children are 8, 6 and 2 months. The 2 month old slept most of the time, but there is lots of shade so she enjoyed it too. Some of the reviews say ferris wheel and roller coaster but we saw neither. There is a big train that all of us rode, antique cars, mechanical water canoes (for toddlers), airplanes, small train, petting zoo, pony rides hay maze, haystack "pool" with climbing wall that all the kids enjoyed. There is also a restaurant inside that has decent prices, $5.75 for kids lunch, $7-9 for adult meals, free refills on drinks. There's ice cream, muffins, pies also. I really liked the mini-grocery and gift shop too. There were samples left out for the marionberry-blackberry pie and it was good, sof we picked up 2 at $10.95 each. There is a coupon at the checkout stand for $2 off entrance and $1 off sandwiches that we didn't see until we paid for the pies. When you enter the gift shop, head toward the restaurant to pick up the coupons (if you're not using a Groupon, that is). Again, lots of fun. We'll be back. It's smallish, about the size of "California Adventureland" in LA, if you've ever been there. Go to Snoqualmie Falls if you can after. We didn't have time for raspberry picking, so we may be back soon. :) Plan for 2-3 hours + if your kids are 8 and under. Have fun and thanks Remlinger! Oh and once you pay for entrance, all activities are free. You get a purple band for the day and there are in and out privileges in case you leave something in the car. It's a great deal!

This is an awesome place for toddlers! All the rides and shows are for them. My kids first went on the canoe. Since there wasn't a line, they rode it for 10mins. Then we went on the steam train. The animal farm had rabbit, goats, sheep, pig, roosters, etc. Kids loved getting so close to them. Then they rode the mini ferris wheel, pumpkin ride, drove a pedal car and the roller coaster. Kids enjoyed them all. After lunch, they rode a pony. First time for them! Service was good too. We forgot sunscreen and the staff had some for us. Food was decent. Standard hot dog, burger, grilled cheese. This is a great place for kids ages 2-8! The Fun Park is compact enough where the toddler can walk the park. Will be back again when fruit picking is available!

I was so excited to take my nephew to this place and we went on a Wednesday thinking it would be a great experience. The only thing that was open was the store. I wish they would have put that on the website so people don't come up and drive for miles to only have the store open. Very disappointing experience.

We had never been and decided to try it because we bought a Groupon and wanted something different after going to the fair in Monroe for a few years in a row. Our kids are 3 and 5, and it was so much fun! Their ages were perfect for it. The rides are definitely geared to their age group, and the staff was really helpful and friendly about letting our five-year-old go on rides with our younger child even though he was technically (by about an inch or so) too tall for them, etc. We loved that all rides were free after admission. If lines were short, we could tell our kids, "Sure, go again!" I would advise going early in the day, especially on a weekend. We arrived at opening (10:30), and walked onto most rides with very little or no wait, but by 2:00 or so, lines were getting long. We were hungry and went to the restaurant. They offered both hot food and "grab and go," aka cold sandwiches, salads, etc. We grabbed the prepared food out of impatience, and were glad we did! Soon after, they put up a sign saying hot food was going to take at least 45 minutes! We saw people sitting at tables with numbers for their hot orders, and we had finished eating before they even got their food. With hungry kiddos, I was grateful for this quicker option, and the food was good, too. So, our kids got to see animals, go on rides, get ice cream, and have a lot of fun, for less money than the fair. The fair is great, don't get me wrong, but Remlinger offers free parking, unlimited rides once you're in the door, and rides geared specifically to younger children. We would love to go back!

This rating is for the Remlinger Farms restaurant, which offers the same food one would find on a WA State ferry. Prepackaged, frozen, and processed foods trucked in by some anonymous service somewhere. Think: upscale 7-11. Not taking advantage of farm fresh produce when you're situated between Fall City and Carnation, the land of small family farms? Idiotic.

Took my toddler and husband here over the weekend for the fall festival. Okay, like everyone else said, the price to get in is straight insane. You are going to charge me $15 for a 3 year old to get in?! WOW! They should have some sort of discount there. $45 to get in the door. They handed me a map and no where on there did it say anything about a you- pick field of pumpkins. I did not see the sign until we were leaving either. All I saw where a ton of HUGE pumpkins close to the pony rides. I came all the way out here to U pick. Rides are fine and fun for the kid. He enjoyed them and loved the roller coaster. We didn't have to wait in line for anything. We got there early because we knew it would be busy. Food was crazy expensive and not a lot of options. $4 for a 12 oz chai tea latte and $6 for a slice of pizza. Staff, they were okay. Didn't really say much. Next year I think I will stick to farms in Snohomish.

Their corn maze was alright. MUCH smaller than I expected. While there I expected a larger "Adult" maze since the one near their u-pick had a sign at it that said it was the "little tykes corn maze". Upon asking at the information desk inside, we found out it was the ONLY maze they had. Still kinda fun though, but totally not worth $15 (or so). Still... if you DO go and do it, install Google "My Tracks" (or whatever the IOS equivalent is) on your phone and start it recording first. Fun easter-egg bonus when you see what the whole maze is shaped like. :-) (Don't worry, it's a small maze so walking the entire thing to trace its shape, takes less than half an hour.) Pro-tip, bringing rubber boots is a no-brainer, but BRING garbage bags to put your dirty boots IN when getting back in the car! :-D

This is a great place for the 3-4 year olds on the weekend. My son had his three year old birthday party here yesterday, about 15 kids and 25 adults. There is a baseline price of $299 for about 15 people then it is per person fee after that. I also added on a brownie platter, cookie platter, fruit platter and vegetable platter. I think they are costco but only marked up slightly. No outside food allowed but I was told that I could bring in vegan food for one child with many allergies. This is our second visit to the Farm. We have come in the fall before. It was 90 degrees yesterday and the birthday corral has no fans and it was super hot. We were supposed to be "hosted" from 11-1 but we found out when we arrived that food was only going to be served from 1130-1. In actuality, no food was served until 12 noon and cake at 1250. That left us with 15 cranky toddlers and therefore 25 cranky adults for over an hour. We were given pitchers with our drink choices (1 pitcher each) and given the extreme heat, they were consumed rapidly, and while they were supposed to be refilled, our single teenage server was prepping our food and therefore was no where to be found. For the size of our party, they should have had two servers, or informed us that food wasn't going to be served so that the children could have gone off to play and returned at the appropriate time. I would subtract 2 stars on the birthday party execution. But I would give 5 stars to Paula, the event planner, who was very professional, and made the booking, payment and confirmation very easy. Also, despite the extreme heat, the kids enjoyed the bouncy house which was set up in a covered area, the hay maze in another covered area, the train which had a cooling breeze as it went by the edge of the river, and the water sprinklers which were watering the plants but also any children which passed by, the pony rides and other animals. My son went on his first roller coaster (need to be 33 inches tall) and loved it, and several other parents commented favorably on the roller coaster. It was less crowded than at the pumpkin festival in the fall, probably due to the heat, so getting on rides was easy. My son likes the place, we will probably return in the fall and for a year or two, but probably not have a birthday party here again.

i LOVE remlinger! I make a trip or two every year, usually in the summer for u-pick Raspberries or Strawberries and to the country store for pies and kitchen goods. I love to bring the family and lots of my little cousins for the u-pick pumpkin patch in October. Visiting Remlinger has been a family tradition for as long as I can remember. It has grown up quite a bit over the years, but the memorable parts are still there! I highly recommend it for families!

We decided to spend the last day of summer vacay at Remlinger Farms. My 2.5 and 4 year old had a blast! Little farm animals, kiddie rides, pony rides and a train ride too! It's the perfect "amusement park/farm" for the young ones. Free parking, unlimited rides with admission (approx $14.00 for 1 yr & up - the senior folks get a little discount). If you see a Groupon, definitely snag it. We even bought an apple pie to bake at home! Thanks for a fun filled day Remlinger, and thanks for a happy belly filled with delicious apple pie!

Came for U-Pick Strawberries only. Their Facebook page is up to date with times and dates for the U-Pick, so I would recommend checking that out if you're curious about the availability. Strawberries were abundant and $1.50/lb - we came home with about 7 lbs of delicious fruit. They provide boxes and have wooden carriers there, so you don't need to bring anything besides sunglasses and sunscreen and cash. They do raspberries at around the late June/early July period. Recommended! Not very far from the city, too.

This farm is cleaner than I had imagined, sidewalks are nicely paved or graveled so you can definitely bring a stroller. Too bad I left mine at home because I thought it would be muddy like most other pumpkin patches I've been to. Restaurant served tasty food, kids menu were decently priced; about $6 for chicken strips, fries, a cookie and drinks. Parking was easy, there's a couple guys there that will direct you where to park on the farm for free. My only complaint was the cost to get in the theme park area, they were WAYYYY overpriced!!! I was actually shocked when she told me $51 for just myself, husband and one child under age 2. Yeah, maybe I'm being cheap but I was hoping it would be in the range of $10-12 per per person. I can't imagine a family of five or more being pleased with the ticket prices; a family of 5 and that'll cost you $100 bucks! As far as rides goes; maybe 7-10 kiddy rides, and a 5 minute train ride so in my opinion it is so not worth it. Overall, it was an experience but don't think I'll return unless they reduce ticket prices.

It is fun to bring the kids here, and they still talk about the trips we took this summer. With Groupons it is a decent to good deal. We like to make a day of it and so end up in the restaurant for lunch since outside food is not allowed. I like the food choices and the restaurant is cute, but the prices are a little ouch, for boxed lunches. We picked good days to go and the kids enjoyed several pony rides. The hay jump is a hit as is the bike track. Funny enough, the kids just love the crazy corn ride and the teeny tiny Ferris wheel. I think the best improvement would be a better petting zoo with a few more animals.

Remlinger Ripoff is what this place should be called. It's fall... I live in Seattle and wanted to go to a pumpkin patch to simply walk around, gander through the corn maze and possibly sip on some hot cider. So my boyfriend makes the 1 hour trek out to Carnation to take me here. Also, I might mention that I have no children. We were directed to park in the area closest to all the buildings and away from the pumpkin patch and corn maze which is all we really had interest in. So we were kind of following the crowd from the parking lot into the main building not really knowing if we could just walk across to the corn maze or if we had to pay in the main building for admission. When we get up to the counter the lady rings us up - $34. Umm, what? I specifically told the lady all we'd like to pay for is the corn maze. "No, sorry our prices are all inclusive, you can't pay for just one thing". Whatever. We fork over nearly 40 bones... walked around the "fall festival"... which don't get me wrong, if you have children it's probably well worth it, but if not, it's a highway robbery. We leave that side of the farm and walk to the side we really wanted to go to which is the U-Pick Patch and the Corn Maze. Upon arrival to the corn maze we notice there's no one manning it and checking to see if you paid or didn't pay. When we walked by the U-Pick pay trailer we noticed a little jar that said "$5 donate recommended for the corn maze". WHAT. So you're telling me I didn't even have to pay? I don't understand why 1. The lady at the counter flat out lied and 2. Why they are so misleading in general. Even if I had gotten online and done my homework I don't think it would've helped much as their website is even misleading by saying in bold text, "back this year is the inclusion of our corn maze included in park admission!"... which to me signifies that the corn maze actually costs money. But clearly, it did not. This was literally like flushing $40 down the toilet. I won't even bother to go into the fact that this place is totally commercialized and I was actually quite shocked at how blown out this place was from the "rides" to the "foodbooths" I didn't know that I was taking a trip to a mini themepark.

A review for pumpkin season: Aside from celebrating the fall with the usual pumpkin spiced lattes and eating lots of those pumpkin and corn kernal candies, I decided it high time to bring on the full effect by going to the patch and pickin a pumpkin. You should have no issues of picking a pumpkin here. Theres lots, trust me and all pre cut so you can grab and go. They offer hayrides, which is sadly more thrilling than trying to make your way through the poorly set corn maze. It was actually impossible to get lost, leaving us bored and walking out the side. Sadly, the little additives here did not add up to a worthwhile experience. In fact the pumpkins at Whole Foods where cheaper. I still give credit to a small local farm.

Lots of fun :) I came over the weekend with some friends to go raspberry picking (easiest berry to pick) but because this has been a cold year, the raspberries were still green - so we went with strawberries. The farm was well organized. There was someone to direct you to certain rows so you'd have an easy time of getting ripe berries. The strawberries were delicious, although a little smaller (as expected). It took less than an hour to pick 10 lbs/person :) Strawberries were $1.50/lb - average Definitely a fun day outing though! I think we'll be back for the raspberries!

My boyfriend and I (24 and 25yrs old) decided to visit the farm as a date. We actually enjoyed it even though we were the ONLY couple without small children. The animals (goats, donkey, pigs) were really friendly and I had a lot of fun feeding the goats even though I've done it many times before. The train ride was only 10 minutes but it was nice, the conductors played their part well and got everyone excited about it. I loved the decorations of the different types of "Scarecrows" around the farm, as well as the random farm trucks, equipment and firetruck. The kids that were there seemed like they were all having a lot of fun. We went through the hay maze even though we were tall enough to see the exit and even rode the roller coaster. The store (obviously) has some pretty expensive things but I wouldn't let it affect the rating of the farm. It only makes sense to overprice things so they can make more profit and it's like not you have to buy anything. The corn maze was a lot of fun (kind of frustrating at times because we couldn't get out) and the pumpkin patch was HUGE. You can pick ANYTHING you want and spend as much time there as you want. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because I think they should add more animals to the petting zoo and maybe 1-2 carnival games.
