Sandwiches are phenomenal (bread is amazing - 5 stars), but the staff are rude, unwelcoming and unfriendly. When I called to ask a question, a kid picked up and answered my question in a "this is a stupid question, I can't believe you are calling and asking ME this you stupid idiot" sort of way. Then when I said thanks, he literally just said "uh huh"...You have a job you ungrateful little jerk. All you do is make sandwiches...Your life (or job) cannot possibly be that hard, or miserable. Needless to say, I used to order from this specific store at least 5 times a month...Now, I'll be heading to crappy subway, whose sandwiches are gross, but customer service is pleasant and upbeat.

So I'm sitting in my apartment, and I have been hesitant to restock the fridge because I move into my new house this weekend. There was literally no food here; I was cooped up inside, doing schoolwork, with no time to run out and get something to eat. So I got on the Pita Pit website, and the soonest they could deliver my lunch was in 45 minutes. What? Having only poor experiences with most delivery in Vancouver, I decided to chance it with Jimmy John's. They are kind of new to me since there are none around where I'm from on the east coast. I have only seen their commercials, and they seem comparable to Subway or Quiznos. I ordered the club tuna on french bread with some chips and bottled water. I was worried about a minimum order but never saw anything about that (my total came to about $10). Within about ten minutes of placing the order, I swear the delivery guy was calling from the gate. It was that quick. So the sandwich was good. All of the ingredients were perfectly fresh and tasty. I was pleased. Apparently Jimmy John's has their own brand of chips, which are okay, I guess. I could have taken them or left them but decided to eat them since I was starving. They have awesomely quick delivery, and they're inexpensive. This is a great option if you are time-challenged like me and they are definitely better than both Subway and Quiznos.

I was reluctant to try this place since my past coworkers got sick from here but my friend swears that he lives off of this place and I had a gift card so why not? Worse idea ever. I got the tuna sandwich...but like my coworkers, I too got food poisoning. I started feeling nauseous later that day and did vomit once. But if you do decide to go there, this is the tip my friend swears by: order the large sandwich instead of the smaller one. The smaller one is known to be made up of little to no meat with a ton of condiments. But the proportion of the larger one will be perfect. Two positive things I have to admit: it does taste pretty good and they do have the fastest service I ever seen. I think they made mine within a minute. If I didn't get food poisoning then I would most likely go there again...but sadly it did happen. I don't know what my coworkers got but plz don't get the tuna sandwich if you don't want to get sick when you go. Enjoy~

I love Jimmy John's especially the camas store. Very friendly fast service and they make the best sandwiches.

Just because you can slam a sandwich together in 30 seconds doesn't make it good. My bread was a little stale and CHEESE IS EXTRA????????? Hey have no hot sandwiches and that's kinda weird. The # 14 was ok, but nothing special. MUZAK so loud it'll make your ears bleed and customer service had a slightly "meth addict intensity". If your just looking to fill a hole in your gut and don't mind losing some hearing this might be the sandwich shop for you

While I do love cheap delicious sandwiches, I cannot support this business anymore. I don't want my dollars to be spent by Jimmy John to go to other countries and hunt endangered species. Nor do I support his labor practices. It's like the Walmart of sandwich shops. Bummer.

I really enjoyed my first experience at Jimmy Johns! I felt like I was eating something healthy and something yummy! I will for sure eat there again!

Service was zealous and polite, but scary fast. The bread is fantastic. One of my big beefs about Subway is how God-awful the bread is. Subways' bread is crusty and hard, you can dent a car with it. Jimmy John's has nice soft bread that tastes pretty good. The price isn't too bad; granted, it's a smaller burger. Meat was a little skimpy, and they put way too much mayo, but all in all it's not too bad. Music is a bit loud, but it's the intentional atmosphere. I'm OK with it. Honestly, it's not really a place to sit down and eat.

Seriously, no napkin? They give 1/3 cup of mayo and a menu with every delivery order. Is it too much to ask for a freaking napkin? Aside from that annoyance, I do appreciate many things about this company. I never dine in, so I can't speak for the service. I do know that the delivery drivers are about one step before death - no personality, exhausted from the hardships of driving .2 miles and jaunting up 24 steps. They charge about $1 more for delivery than dine-in, then ask you to tip the driver. Do I think they did anything amazing for a tip? No, not usually, but it's the social norm, so I bite. The french bread is amazing if it's fresh. I have received stale bread on many occasions. Complaining gets you a free sandwich next time, but that doesn't improve upon my current stale situation. Giant Club Sandwiches aren't really that much more exciting than their basic counterparts aside from a few extra toppings you're being charged for. It's a good idea to add all the freebies so you feel like you're getting a little substance with your bread and mayo. Mostly, I eat here out of convenience at work if I forget a lunch from home, since I am rarely able to leave my desk during the day. It's definitely worth a try. Enjoy!

By far the best sandwich shop in my book. I don't know if it's the bread or what, but I just crave JJ's sandwiches many times a week. Simple sandwiches at a good price and so fast.

Not awesome. Bread was stale and possibly moldy--it's hard to say what that gray stuff was. Cheese costs extra. Chips are spectacular, though--but when three sandwiches cost $21 with tax, you might want to get your chips elsewhere. Staff wasn't rude, but they weren't friendly, either--but it doesn't matter because I doubt I could have heard them over the music. At any rate, we're not going back. Note to the owner: you should read your Yelps, because I see the same complaints over and over. I just wish I had read them before I spent money here.

Ordered yesterday. I love jimmy johns so I decided to order today. Yesterday was fast no problems a delicious. I had it delivered. I live 4.5 miles away so I was confused when I ordered today and they refused to deliver because I was "out of their delivery zone" I've had it delivered quite a few times to this same place and now won't deliver. Very disappointed

My wife and I went in to buy a couple sandwiches. It was mid-afternoon, after the lunch rush, so there were no other customers. It didn't take long to place an order or get the sandwiches. The person taking our order and money clearly did not want to be there, and held human beings in disdain. The music blared. The sandwiches were awful. My wife ordered a sandwich that had avocado on it. Once we got the sandwich, we looked it over for a full minute trying to find the avocado. We finally found a couple square inches of some green slime under the lettuce. Maybe it was avocado, or maybe it was just green slime. On both sandwiches, the buns were tasteless and dry, and the sandwich ingredients were limp and warm. We ate at a bench outside in the sun. I went back in to ask for a straw or napkin and was ignored. There were no other customers in the store. As I turned to walk out a big male employee yelled at my back, "Did you want somethin'?" Enough said.

I'd actually had Jimmy John's before this store opened and I was SO excited to drive by the other day and see that it was here! Jimmy John's is a great sandwich shop. It is pretty basis in their ingredients. The only condiments they have are mustard and mayo. Thei sanwiches are priced well...for your standard helping of meat it is about $5 and for only a dollar more (!!!) you can get double the meet. They have many different sandwiches that you can tweak to your hearts content. They have their own version of chips in about 5 flavors. The atmosphere was busy but fun. We were greated and said goodbye too as we went in and out. There was actually a crazy amount of employees but that might have been because it was opening weekend!! This will certainly now be my go-to close by, not sit down restaurant sandwich shop!!

Sandwiches are good, service is fast. However the staff could use a class in customer service. No greeting no smiles....they all act like they hate their jobs. The atmosphere is cold and industrial...unfriendly and loud

I'm kinda shocked at some of the reviews of Jimmy Johns in Vancouver. I think its great! Way better than Subway. The bread is amazing! I'd eat it with only mayonase on it! The toppings are always fresh, service is quick, and the price is right. The only down side is there could be more meat on some of the sandwiches, and the BBQ chips are not always consistant with the seasoning thats on them (They are best with lots of seasoning)

I went in while my tires were being rotated at Costco. I had an Italian sub, and it was good, pretty much your standard cafeteria sub quality. They pushed me to get a pickle, and it was a good addition to the sandwich. It came wrapped separately, and was a BIG pickle. Good flavor though, and didn't break the bank.

Wow this place is a joke. I have been wanting a new sandwich shop in Vancouver forever (Subway and Quiznos are getting old). Was excited when it lined up that we would be by this place durning meal time. Went in on a Tuesday around 5pm. Nobody in the store but the 6 (!) employees and the overly loud music. Took a peek at the menu for a while and stepped forward to ask questions. The employees were the most non-helpful individuals I have ever met. When I asked if I could have a sandwich that wasn't on the menu they said they would charge for one on the menu and then just charge extra for anything added. I went ahead and ordered the #4 with no sprouts (really who eats these anymore?). They don't have pickles and only have deli mustard. Only sauce available is mayo and oil/vinegar mix. No sauces like Subway or other options. No bread options. So that means my sandwich had mayo, mustard, oil/vinegar, tomatoes, meat and cheese on a regular French roll. Something I could have made easily at home and for a hell of a lot cheaper. Husband had a #11 with no tomato, lettuce or mayo. But they did feel the need to charge $0.50 for the added mustard and $0.50 for red peppers. WTF. 2 sandwiches and a large soda costs $15!! Only chips options are a house brand with no idea to quality. I guess the next time I wish for a new sandwich shop in town I will be a little more specific. I want an actual sandwich shop that serves real sandwiches worth leaving the house for. Won't be going back anytime soon.

I will start by saying i was looking so forward to trying this place out looked promising until you open those doors. I walked in first time looked up at menu i felt eyes burning holes in my skull. Then the unexpectedly .."are you ready sir?" to the guy behind me within 23 seconds. He said "no, i am also looking at your menu" i being in a hurry at this point decided quickly "big john" also decided on a bag of bbq chips with john name plastered all over them. Before my credit card was scanned and reciept was handed to me, i had a hard wrapped sandwich in my hand. It was a hot day and I decided just some water for me, this time..big mistake apparently.after trying to be bullied into buying a bottle of water was directed to super small cups with no lids provided i asked if i could get a lid or a cup with a lid as i would be on the road for the next few hours. The guys slamming sandwiches together like a speed competiton said "no but you can buy a bottle of water" for the first time in decades i cursed as i walked out and looked at peoples faces and tried to warn them with body language. Wont step foot in this failure of a business again. The sandwich? you ask..great bread, italian..fresh lettuce tomatoes mayo..cheese is extra and sold like add on at least for this sandwich..i honestly felt like a couple slices of roast beef were thrown in and that was it..skimpy...crap...hope they shut down within the year. meh.....
