Had the beef Bibimbap. Was very good and served with the sauce on the side in a traditional fast food katsup bottle so you could squeeze and much or as little as you would like. Also came with a host of appetizing sides that I could have done without if it would save a buck. Overall, the food was good and the value is there. Dining room could be a bit cleaner.

Their bulgogi and daeji bulgogi is seriously great!!! I would recommend anybody to go there to eat, I personally eat there for lunch a lot.

This place is awesome. My guy and I have been here only once, but were so delighted and surprised at the deliciousness of the food we can't wait to eat here again. What really got me - they really understand that some people don't like certain things in their food, and make a lot of alterations based on your needs. They really work hard to make it awesome for ya. This kind of attention is so rare in Bremerton! I can't wait to eat here again!

Growing up I had a best fried who was Korean. Her mother made amazing Korean dishes for us for breakfast, lunch, and mostly dinners. So obviously, Korean food had always been a favorite of mine. From the number of reviews and how high the ratings are, I've been wanting to come here for a while. My husband and I finally got the chance the come today. SO GOOD! We started out with the cream cheese wontons appetizers. They were good; but be noted that they are not crab and cream cheese wontons!! They are like a dessert; inside the fried wonton is a mix of cream cheese and cinnamon, served with a sweet sauce. Aside from that, my husband ordered Daeji Bulgogi and I ordered the Vegetable Yakisoba. Both dishes were amazing. The portioning was pretty good for the price. Kinda laughing because I told my husband that every time we go out and eat we should go somewhere new. I kinda don't want to abide by that anymore... When we left I very quickly grabbed a to-go menu. Will definitely be coming here more often!!! Update as of a couple weeks later: I've come here 3 times now. It's that good.

Went to Suzy's for lunch. This place was good. I got the bibimbop lunch special. For 8.99, you get your dish plus all the typical Korean starters like pickles and kimchee. The kimchee us house made. The red sauce for the bibimbop could have had more flavor. The spicy chicken lunch was amazing. The chicken was super tender and had an amazing rich savory flavor. The sauce was good, but the meat was the true quality factor in the dish. I will definitely be back

Ever since the first time I stepped into this place years ago, till now, this is still by far my favorite resturant in Kitsap County! It always feels likes home when I come in. They know my name and husbands name, my parents name, and even my kids and the service is ALWAYS excellent! Never had a bad visit! The food is great and home made. Can't beat that! Highly recommend this place!

A home run! The beef bulgogi was delicious. The service was wonderful. The place is very clean and surprisingly pleasant for a mini strip mall location. Great value for great food.

Place smells great. I walked in for lunch on a Friday. About half the tables had customers, maybe one table had food, the rest were waiting. I was given a menu and told to sit anywhere. I sat down, opened the extensive menu and decided on the sticky wing combo. After 10 minutes with no sign of a waiter, I get up to go to the cash register. I find 2 people looking bored with crossed arms waiting for take out but I see no waiter. It's like the entire staff went home but I can hear them talking in the back with the clang of pots and pans. Out pops a woman with 2 bottles of Coke destined for the table next to me. "I'm ready to order", I say as she passes. "Ok, ok be right there", as she disappears into the back. 10 minutes later I get up, I pass 2 other tables with people still holding their menus. I heard from coworkers this place is great and it smelled wonderful to me but no service.

Excellent food, we loved and the kids did too. But the best part is the amazing service. We were treated well they took the time to explain how to eat things we had never tried. Great experience

Great food. Great prices. Everyone who works here does an excellent job of making you feel welcome. The staff are friendly, and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. A really nice experience at an affordable price. Happy to have this place in bremerton. Reminds me of some of the restaurants I frequented in Seattles Wallingford District in the early 80s. Looking forward to going back here.

If you are in the mood for good Korean food, come to Suzy's! The food was pretty good, decently priced, and the people working here are extremely nice. I love coming to Suzy's because you can tell that the owners work really hard and do their best to provide great food and great service. The older lady is always so sweet. I once told her that the fish cakes are my favorite and she gave me a bunch more in my ban chan (those little appetizer that comes with your meal). The younger lady there is just as nice. They always check up on you to fill your water and make sure everything is good. I always get the Bibimbap served in a stone bowl fresh and hot. I love that they give you the sauce in a bottle on the side so you can add as much as you like. The hubby usually gets the 2-meat combo with spicy bulgogi and kalbi short ribs. It always comes sizzling and hot on the plate along with rice. I usually steal from his plate even though I can never finish my Bibimbap since I'm always eating all the ban chan. I absolutely love coming here for my Korean food fix.

Been here many times before but haven't gotten around to writing a review. Food here is amazing and not just 'Kitsap amazing'. All Korean dishes here are pretty authentic (as far as I could tell) and each entrée comes with about 7-8 sides that get changed from time to time. Each dish seems like it is prepared with great care and is very flavorful. I've also ventured into the 'American' side of the menu and have not been disappointed there either. Service is friendly and usually very consistent. If you are looking for a Korean restaurant or any restaurant with great food, service, and decent prices, look no further than Suzy's Kitchen. It's located in a not too good looking area, but don't let that deter you from eating some great food!

The service and food at this place are outstanding! I was greeted really warmly when I walked in and seated right away. I had no idea what I was looking at on the menu, so I asked for recommendations and was pointed to Babimbap and was not disappointed. For those not in know (as I was a mere week ago), it's crispy rice topped with sauteed veg (spinach and zucchini) with a meat and bean sprouts. You're given a sweet/spicy Korean sauce to top the whole thing off with. The sauce was so good, I was about to smuggle the rest of it out in my purse, but opted instead to just come back more often.

The service is excellent but I am not sure the food lived up to the five star reviews. For me, it was just good and I would return if I am in the area but not excitedly.

This is a nice, very clean Korean place. I had the shrimp fried rice, which was a good portion(lots of shrimp!) for $10.97. My only issue is that it wasn't at all spicy--I think maybe they don't use any heat because the locals don't like spicy. I wish they would have asked how spicy I wanted it. My husband had the veggie yakisoba, which also was a good portion with plenty of veggies, but again, no heat. Service was quick and very pleasant. This is a good place to stop when in Bremerton.

Wonderful family owned place. They obviously work hard and the food is delicious! Mandu can be found here! It's in a strip mall - it's not a fancy restaurant. People will probably complain about the interior. To them I say, take it to go then :) Tofu soup is not quite like getting it at a tofu house (boiling in the stone pot) but is good. You can get bi bim bop in a stone pot! Canned rice punch and mandarin drinks. Good BBQ and variety of ban chan. Definitely a surprise in this little part of town. I bring my dad here every time I visit him at the Washington State Veteran Home.

Just finished a delicious meal at Suzy's for dinner. I had the vegetable bibimbap and hubby had the seafood bibimbap. Very tasty and all the sides were up to par! Will absolutely return!

I came from LA and was exposed to ktown since I was a kid. Their food is pretty good a bit too westernizef for my taste but will definitely go back for my korean food fix. I just wished they had jjajjamyung and more panchan selections. They're kimchi fried rice is a bit of a let down though.

This was my first time here and I am impressed with how clean and cheerful the restaurant is. The menu is easy to read, full of pictures, and lots of choices. The waitstaff is cheerful and helpful. Tasty, fresh food!

Suzy's Kitchen is the most authentic Korean restaurant around this area! Last night was my second time in and it was absolutely delicious! We had the Seafood Pancake as an appetizer which was filled with seafood and the sauce you put on it was sweet and tangy. I had the Kalbi Bibimbap, served in a hot stone bowl and a special spicy sauce so I can mix it up and get the crispy rice on the bottom and side of my bowl. Boyfriend had the 2-Meat combo: Kalbi and the spicy pork. Of course the little side dishes came too! I would also recommend the Korean Iced Coffee if you go there for lunch, it's amazing! Thumbs up all around! Side note: not sure why they have to put an "American" menu with their Korean one, wish more people here were more open to trying more ethnic foods!

  • Audrea F.

This place was amazing. The Korean bbq short ribs were outstanding and all the sides are homemade. My husband got American bbq ribs and those were fantastic too. We also ordered the appetizer sample platter and it was the most disappointing part of the meal. It wasn't bad, just not as good as the meals. I ended up wishing we had skipped it so I had more room for my dinner. I ate until it hurt and then took a whole bunch of leftovers home. We will be back!

Amazing food. You can tell it was cooked with love. The Korean beef ribs were great! Had the Bib something or other, the one with the rice and egg. Holy amazing! Husband had spicy pork (deji something) he loved it! We will be back!

Suzy's Kitchen is possibly the ONLY Korean restaurant here in Bremerton. Their dishes are authentic, and they taste amazing! Not to mention, the service is really great! The waiters and waitresses are nothing but nice, and very polite! It's quite the experience. If you ever have a craving for Korean food, this is the place to be! -=UPDATE=- Suzy's Kitchen still caters to my Korean Food cravings! I usually order Tteokbokki and Odeng as a side order if they have it (they usually do!). They're so great to their customers, and even remember you. I don't come here as often as I'd like, but when I do, they often tell me when they are going to have Jajang Myeon as their special of the week, which I think is really wonderful of them to remember who I am, as I've been searching all around Kitsap county for Jajang Myeon, and Suzy's Kitchen is the only place that has it from time to time! I wish I could rate them with more stars, because they certainly deserve it!

I LOOOOOOVE SUZY'S. Honestly, it has to be my most favorite restaurant. The interior reminds me of a really cute home, and the food is just soooo delicious! I have never ever been unsatisfied with a visit to Suzy's :) I recommend: omurice, bibimbap, kimchi fried rice, japje (I dont remember the full name, sorry!), and their chicken katsu! Those are just some of which I've tried, but I dont think you could go wrong with any of these. :)

  • Bri H.

SUCH delicious food. I've been back thrice, each time with family. Even though they are fairly sheltered to Korean food, as there isn't much of it in the area, everyone left impressed and satisfied. Their haemul sundubu, bulgogi, japchae, and every banchan there never fail to impress. I'm so looking forward to going back!

I love the beef fried rice with no vegetables. My husband said it was the best but I had my doubts til I tried it. It's addicting. Even if your full you still want to eat it. Yum!

Good food. Very friendly ladies. Fair prices. Not a fancy destination. All the chairs have holes held together by duct tape. But if you can get over that, not a bad place to grab lunch at all.

Been eating at Suzy's since they first opened back in 2009... It became one of our favorite spot ever! Only place we'd ever eat Korean food at! Love everything from the appetizers, rice dishes to the soups and wings! And she gives so much food that we always have to take out! If you ever come to Suzy's, don't just order chicken teriyaki... Try the traditional Korean dishes!! It's amazingggg ;)

I've never tried anything other than their korean food which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Every time I've went the food was amazing and the staff was super nice :)

It's a smaller establishment, but the staff is very friendly. Most Asian restaurants get a bad rap for terrible service. Not this place! Suzy even came out to check on us. We ordered a hot plate and a kimchi chap-je. Both were very flavorful and the portions were generous. Our server came to check on us every 10 minutes. If you like okra, this is the only place that can fry it like the south. The dining room and restrooms were very clean. We'll be back.

Never been here before and we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. In addition to the appetizers we ordered, they also gave us small dishes of kimchi and other sides to try. Then our food came. I had veggie yakisoba and it was the best I've had in a very long time. Someone else had the BBQ beef and it was fabulous. As was General Suzy's chicken (General Tso's). Next time I'm definitely getting the General Suzy's, it was so flavorful. The ladies there were very attentive and friendly as well. Definitely going back when we're in Bremerton.

Korean food is pretty authentic and surprisingly good maybe better than the ones you can find in Ktown on S. tacoma way. I tried DWEJI BULGOGI (marinated spicy pork) and was very delicious with sizzling onions on the bottom. The two waitresses were very friendly and polite. This is a surprising gem in Bremerton! Keep up the good work Suzy's! I applaude for the owner's courage to open a Korean restaurant in Bremerton.

  • Dee C.

Hands down favorite place ever!!! Love the food and the traditional sides. Service is always outstanding and always satisfied everytime we dine in!! The bulgogi and Kalbi plate (sorry if misspelled) is always cooked to perfections and the Mandu for appetizers is so mouth watering!!!

  • Sofi L.

The best Korean food I can find around here, especially their kalbi. I once had my family take out all our visiting relatives, and we got a ton of sides that were included in our meals and they loved it. There's a very nice atmosphere in there, for it's not too loud nor crowded. I love this place.

Hawaii boy here for work at the shipyard. This place is a goodsent. I love korean food and this place is great! Me and my coworkers eat here 1-2 times a week since we found Suzy's. Kimchee and the sides are good. I ate the Kalbi, spicy pork, meat jun, and the sticky wings and all of them are winners! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting real home-cooked Korean food. I usually end up spending too much money here because I want to eat everything and wish i had an endless pit for a stomach. Also staff(owner and daughter) are really nice and the self serve tea is good too.

Finally, a place nearby where I can get ramyun! Was very delicious, and the Korean dishes come with lots of sides/condiments. Awesome selection! Definitely recommend, and will be coming back.

Suzy's kitchen is one of my go-to spots! My favorite meal there is the Bibimbap, but I've tried lots of other dishes and have never left unsatisfied! The staff is super nice and very welcoming. This is definitely one of the spots to visit when you're in Bremerton!

I've been more of a Yelp searcher than reviewing, this is my first review so far---I guess...anyway, I was impressed! The presentation is simple, the taste and flavor is well executed. Now, my only suggestion is having "raw" egg on the side to be cracked on top of the hot Tofu Soup. It enhances the taste and experience. I hope they offer it as an option, but I will ask or request for it next time I go there....or I'll just bring my own egg =D

Great food with nice taste, all I have tried is the teriyaki chicken, comes with side of macaroni salad and wontons, well worth a try!

The waitress and waiter are friendly. Kalbi is tender and tasty. But the bibimbap is lacking vegetables and t's full of rice instead. Korean pancake with seafood is ok: its very thin and burnt. The seafood soft tofu sondobu soup is very westernize.

I seriously can not believe I've never been here before. I lived down the street from here for years and I work right down the street. I've been on a Korean food kick again (sigh) for the last week or so. Unfortunately, living in Kitsap County we don't have many options. I wanted to go to the place in Silverdale but we live in Port Orchard and I didn't feel like driving that far. I happened to come across reviews for this place on here. :-D I was blown away on how good the food was! I had the chicken stew (sorry can't spell the correct name). It was so full of flavor and just absolutely delicious. To the point where I was just there last night but I'm considering going again tonight. Hubby had the spicy pork bulgogi..again full of flavor and just wonderful. Not drenched in sauce as I've had at other places. Both orders came with a huge bowl of white rice and the traditional side dishes. I loved every single one of them. The Kim Chee here is great! I saw on the menu they have meat jun. Every time I go back home to Hawaii I have to have me some meat jun. I've never seen it up here. I'm sold! This has to be my favorite place in Kitsap now! Great portions for the price...Check it out!

This was a nice little place. Positives: -Very good and kind customer service. -Clean, very clean. -The inside of the building is very well maintained. -The food was, OK. -They care about to go orders being hot. (A guy came in late to pick up the food and they were apologizing for the food getting cold) Negatives: (I wish I didn't have to, they were so nice) -I know I have their food in the positive, but it was more so in between. I ordered the Spicy BBQ Chicken, the sauce was good and smokey, but the chicken itself had almost no flavor. I think they need to poke holes in it and marinate the chicken for a couple hours before cooking. -The location is not nice at all. It's in a dumpy part of town, right around the corner are bars, tattoo places, and a porn shop. -They don't have bathrooms. Otherwise, I plan on visiting again and trying some of their other food.

Super friendly service! Delicious bulgogi (liked it better than the kalbi but the 2-meat combo for $2 more was too tempting). Tofu soup was also good and very comforting. Veggie pancake was a yummy differentiator to the usual side dishes. A lot of food for two people for $25! And they give a 10% military discount. Great value.

Our family's favorite place! Each birthday that rolls around, we already know this will be the restaurant of choice! Everything is absolutely delicious and prices are good too. Certainly can't beat the service here. Faves: Kim bap, man doo, bul goki, and bi bim Guk soo....but everything here is good!!!

Cool spot in a crappy area. I was excited when I found Suzy's through Yelp while working in Bremerton and as close as it was. It's a family run joint and you get the great hospitality with it. Overall pretty tasty Korean. I was impressed that they offered several different kinds of soup and Duk-bokie (spicy rice cake appetizer). I initially ordered the green onion soup but once I saw a couple other patrons with this squid stir-fry (see picture) I had to try it. It was excellent. Full of flavor. The banchan is tasty as well, I especially like the cabbage with sauce and roasted garlic. It doesn't take as much for me for a return trip with Korean but this place will definitely be visited again.

Delicious food made with love in my old hometown! PROs: * Food is delicious! To put it simply, food here is reminiscent to the kind only a mother can make * Fast and friendly service * Prices are very affordable... especially considering the quality of their dishes * Variety of menu items with American and Asian dishes. CONs: * This is BARELY a "con"... but it's more of a diner/mom&pop kind of restaurant. So this probably isn't I ideal for a romantic, dim lighting, candle light dinner. * Honestly, I had to nitpick to find something negative to say. OTHER COMMENTS: * Located on the South Eastern corner of 6th and Callow Ave N * There are generally open parking spots directly in front of the restaurant FAVORITES: * Bulgogi (Korean marinated beef), Kimbap (Korean style sushi would be the best way to explain this one haha) FINAL THOUGHTS: The food and service here is awesome. Every time I visit the parentals in my old hometown, I make it a point to find time to visit this place! Hands down one of the few places in Bremerton that is truly putting together some quality food. However, I get the feeling that most people come here to simply get teriyaki chicken/pork... which is actually quite good here. But let me tell you... you're missing out on a bunch of other great menu items. Try to be a bit more adventurous and try something different! Ask your waitress for recommendations :) You will be pleasantly surprised! For as long as I have family and friends in Bremerton, I will be visiting this place again and again!

We decided to try this place based on the reviews on yelp and I must say that we were mighty glad that we did! We simply loved this place! Being vegetarians, we never find a Korean restaurant that has any vegetarian variety. So we were kind of skeptical about this restaurant too. The menu did mention vegetarian options for many of the dishes so that was our hope. It's not too big a place and very casual at that. The staff is very friendly. We ordered the veggie pancake with egg and Kimchi fried rice. Both were delicious! We also got 5-6 sides - albeit tiny portions they were just right. These consisted to spicy spinach, some sprouts, kimchi, bean, sweet and sour radish, etc. The price was quite reasonable. It came out to around $10 per person. We absolutely love this place and would definitely go back!

This place is really a gem for the Bremerton/Kitsap County area. Delicious Korean food with friendly, welcoming service. :) The banchans we were served were delicious and our main dishes(bulgogi and mandu gook?) were just as appetizing! I love the fact that they have a kids menu with typical american dishes because we all know how picky them lil ones can be. They also gave us lumpia on the house which was really good too! +++++++ for that! I wish we had a spot like this in Seattle! :( P.S. They have fried okra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place has flown under our radar for the 6 years we've lived in the area. Well not anymore! I had an instructor recommend it and I'm glad he did. We've been twice now and it's great! My wife LOVES the bibimbap, and I have had some fantastic Daeji Bulgogi (spicy pork) as well as some tasty Dak Dori Tang (spicy chicken potato stew). The hot tea is great as well. It's definitely been added to our list of regulars. The staff (owners?) are very friendly. The atmosphere is a sort of strange mix of Korean and homestyle American kitchen. Each time we've been we were able to sit right down, so no waiting here.

Amazing food polite staff and speedy service. Live coming here. The menu is full of choices for the hungry not so hungry and kids. They offer "american" food as well so if u want a burger or chicken nuggets they have it. I love the kalbi.

  • Katá M.

The food was better for the area but not the best Korean I've ever had. The best thing we ordered were the cream cheese wantons with cinnamon inside. Not sure if I'd go back simply because my husband bit into his bulgogi and there was a metal stick that wedged into his jaw. It was a major turn off for what would have been a pretty good meal.

Why eat at a fast food joint when you can come here? If you have a more refined palate, this place will hit the spot. The lunch specials are a good deal. It's located outside Bremerton naval shipyard and it seems to be little to no restaurants within 4 miles that serves similar food. If you don't have time to go to a Korean BBQ place, this place will be perfect. My intention is to eat less meat, so complaining that they seem a bit tight with the meat should be ignored. The sauce they have in the red bottle, made my dish so wonderful. The staff is very nice.

When my husband and I first visited the area last year, while house hunting, my friend and her husband took us here and we've been fans ever since! Service is always friendly and the food...just amazing. My husband always goes for the 2 meat Bulgogi combo with spicy beef and spicy pork...so yummy! Depending on my mood, I either go for Bulgogi or one of their soups like the Soon Dubu or Kimchi Chigae...always consistent with flavor and quality and oh so good! I also love their banchan (the little side dishes with kimchi, etc.) and their appetizers - especially the mandu (aka potstickers) and their lumpia! I hosted a coffee Meetup in Bremerton yesterday and some of them wanted to get lunch afterwards before taking the ferry back to Seattle, so my husband suggested Suzy's and they loved it! Suzy herself took our orders and served us since her daughter (great gal btw) wasn't there that day. I'm so glad we have this little gem of a place on this side of the Puget Sound!

I drop by Suzy's Kitchen every time I'm in town and the quality of the restaurant never lets me down. The food is great, the restaurant is clean, and I never have a strong smell coming off my clothes when I leave. I personally know some of the staff but even then, they don't give me any special treatment because they treat every single one of their customers with overwhelming kindness and they always give their undivided attention when you're talking.

This is very good Korean food. I would give this place 5 stars if it had hot sizzling pots and instead of fish soup as a default with your meal they gave you a choice of vegetarian soup. The sunny side up egg on the bibimbap was a little overdone, probably for safety? The sides with the Bibimbap all had amazing flavors. I had a tofu and vegetable version and my husband ordered the real thing. The meal was super filling and tasty. I liked the family-feel of the restaurant. The workers and owners all stopped and shared a meal while we ate. I thought this was really special and cool that they took the time to eat with each other during a slow moment at the restaurant. Overall the other reviews are very accurate and if you find yourself in Bremerton a stop at Suzy's is worth it!

Excellent dinner! The wontons were magnificent! We had chicken udon, teriyaki chicken, and bbq ribs for the kids. The shrimp fried rice was perfect. All the dishes were superb.

O-M-G! That is the only way to describe this place. I don't know how I've managed to live in Kitsap for nearly a year and not come try this place. A beginning disclaimer - I don't eat a lot of Korean food so I don't have a lot to compare it to. It may or may not be authentic, but that doesn't change the following in my opinion. The husband started off with a Korean coffee, which tasted good but I didn't see anything special about it. I had a soda which came in a bottle with a cup and ice. A little perk is that the ice was crushed - which I happen to love and is a side note to this fabulousness of this place. We decided to try a wide variety of items while here, so we started the meal with appetizers. We ordered the lumpia, which was delicious. They also have jalepeno lumpia on the menu, which we will definitely be trying next time. The mandu (pot stickers) were fabulous. Lastly, we tried the Yubu-chobap. The husband *hates* tofu and I convinced him that I'd eat these if he tried a bite and didn't like them. He devoured his and then tried to convince me the tofu pocket wasn't actually tofu. The appetizers came out staggered as they were prepared and relatively quickly. The husband ordered the Chap-Je for dinner. He thoroughly enjoyed it, though I think he would have liked to have a bit more beef in the meal. I ordered the Bibimbap. It was amazing. I liked the option of deciding how the egg was cooked, because I detest runny eggs. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Overall, I think this place will become a regular for the husband and I to eat at. The prices were more than fair and it was an overall great experience.

After having visited Bremerton several times over the last few years, I thought that I had already tried all the food options that Bremerton had to offer, but boy, was I wrong. Thanks to Mel O's suggestions, I tried suzy's kitchen. Being from California and having spent the last 5ish years in San Diego where there's a pretty big Korean community, I've had my fair share of Korean foods. I must say that I was surprised by how delicious and semi-authentic tasting their Kalbi & Bulgogi was. Their ban chan was also really good. I'm all about those marinated bean sprouts- yum! The hostess/waitress was very nice and attentive too. My only gripe about Suzy's Kitchen are the prices. They are a little steep, but for the deliciousness I'm getting...I'm totally willing to pay. The next time I'm in Bremerton, I'm coming back here!

My wife and I took out of town visitors to Suzy's Kitchen. They, like us, raved about the food and the great service. We all loved the food. However, the service is even better! Best service we have ever received, anywhere!

This is a great little local spot right off of Callow. The parking lot can be difficult to maneuver in but not impossible. The service was great and friendly. I do not recommend the iced coffee... I think it was just cold instant coffee. Everything else was terrific. I order the short ribs, the BF had the Bulgogi, my dad had the tempera and we all shared the baked mussels. Affordable and they have a military discount!

Service was fast, food was flavorful, and the sides are refillable.my only complaint would be drinks; They only have bottled drinks and water

So I was really eager to try suzy's kitchen due to the reviews here.... my husband and I went to bremerton this weekend to try it. The service was hands down great! I ordered the dol sot bibimbap.... which should be served in a stone bowl. This bibimbap was served in a ceramic bowl which didn't hold heat so I wasn't really able to burn the rice on the bottom, which I really like. The pajun was really good as was the mandu... although the mandu was a bit oily from being fried. My husband ordered the kalbi and it was very very good. Overall I would give suzy's 3.5 stars but I can't do half stars here so its a 4.

Suzy's was a Friday afternoon tradition for me during my blissful stint in beautiful WA! The Kimchi is amazing as is the Bulgogi. They have the best soups on the peninsula!!! The only thing that rivals the soups are the tasty sides that accompany them. They typically amount to 5-6 small plates of spicy and tasty veggies. UNREAL! Spicy, Tasty, and great food with friendly folks serving them.

Wonderful Korean food. Didn't try the American food though, why would I when the Korean was so good. Service was tops and very attentive.

Cute little Korean restaurant. I was surprised to see a good Korean Restaurant in Bremerton! Who would've guessed! They make really good Pan Chan, I especially like their dry squid side dish for a start, very yummy. All of their other side dishes are homemade and fresh. Our server was really really nice. We ordered the Bip Bim Bop and Spicy Seafood Tofu Soup, they are both really good. Just very good Korean restaurant like those you can find on the Seattle side. I love they give us two napkins from the get go, so we don't need to ask for more. After all, it's the little things that matters :)

Finally tried this place, we drive by it all the time. My fiancé had the beef dac-tori-taung, I had the beef bibimbab. We did take out, it was amazing! Both of us also shared the cream cheese wontons, which were also amazing. But be careful, when they say spicy they mean it!! We will totally be coming back for more it is amazing!!!!!

What a delightful place. Its been a long time since I've been back there because I live in RI and Korean food is still a novelty and quite pricey here. This place serves authentic Korean food. While I was there, I would drive from Silverdale into Bremerton for lunch everyday because it was so tasty, then would drive over there for dinner in the evening. My favorite was the bibimbap. Thanks to Suzy and her daughter, we have been introduced to Korean delicacy.

My wife and I went here for dinner and we both thought this place was great. The decor isn't much to look at especially as it's tucked in a strip mall next to a tobacco store but they really focus on the food and we really enjoyed our meal. We started with an order of 5 piece lumpia. The lumpia is extra long and they cut it so really the five piece was more like a ten piece of the size I'm used to. They also included a sweet citrus sauce for dipping. We both ordered the Beef Bibimbap. I agree with another reviewer that they should use a stone or cast iron pot to serve it in because it just wasn't hot enough. I usually like to get the egg in it raw and let the pot cook it as I stir, but if I'd done that here I still would have had raw egg. My wife thought the chili pepper paste was a bit too hot for her but it was just right for me. The side dishes they serve along with your entree were great and a good way to try some different things. We had a bunch of different sides, kimchi, fried tofu, bean sprouts, green beans, marinated potato, something that looked like shredded kimchi, and something else i couldn't even identify! And while we had more than enough food I did hear the server offer another table more of the sides if they wanted. We were really satisfied and decided that we need to come back to try more things here.

After eating tons of Korean food in SD, I was excited to find that there was an authentic Korean restaurant in Bremerton! I got the Bulgogi and my GF got the Kalbi. I'll have to say that these two dishes are on the same level as the places I've been to in SD. The food came out pretty quickly and was delicious, the service was pretty good, and the prices were on the higher side, but still fair. Next time I'm in Bremerton I'll have to come in and try the bibimbap and the sundubu!

Short and sweet, I liked this place. We happen to be in Bremerton and just watched something about bibimbap so we had a hankering for Korean food. My girlfriend searched Yelp and saw that Suzy's got a pretty good review, so we headed there. Man, the restaurant is placed in this small strip mall on the corner. IF we didn't know it was there we would have passed right by it. Lucky we didn't. So the inside of the restaurant is really unassuming. There is nothing pretentious about the place. It is decorated in something out of the 1970's. There are some Korean pictures and drawing up on the wall. Other than that nothing all that great. But who the heck came here for the decor anyways. Since we both had a urge to eat some bibimbap, guess what we ordered. Hmm. It had marinated steak strips, spinach, pickled white radishes, a egg on top, with a red spciy sauce on the side. It also came with kimichi, some more pickle veggy, fried fish cake, and a marinated potato on the side. I have to say this was absolutely delicious. Everything was well cooked and flavorful. All the veggies and meat worked well together. The saucy was tangy and spicy, without being overly hot. It complmented the dish. The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and quick. Can't anything bad about it. :) If I'm ever in Bremerton again, I'm definitely gonna hit this place up again. I you like Korean food and are in Bremerton go for a visit.

I'm a huge fan. The food: fantastic. The first time I came I ordered the two meat combo with the Daeiji-Bulgogi and the Bulgogi. The second time I went with my brother and we shared the combo, but with the Daeji-Bulgogi and Kalbi. I've been since, and these are the only things I have, and probably will ever order again. Which is weird, because I am a man of variety, a taster and seeker of new things. But not here. At Suzy's, I believe I've reached the peak of excellence, and dare not climb any higher. In all seriousness, try the aforementioned dishes. Simply amazing. Also, the people who work here are delightful. I can't remember her name, but the younger girl who waited on my brother and I was pretty funny. Lots of spunk. One last note: The first time my wife and I went to Suzy's was last October around 8:30 PM for a late dinner. A girl of about 10 or so walked in to pick up her family's take out order, and the owner immediately recognized her as a regular. She then asked if she had walked, and when the girl said she had, the owner became distraught. She said it was too late, far, and dark for such a young girl to be walking by herself, especially carrying all of that food. So she more or less pushed the girl into her car and drove her home herself. Talk about customer appreciation, right?

I've lived in Bremerton on and off since 1977. There aren't too many places that I have not tried. I recently moved to West Bremerton and have been trying to find the best places to eat on the west side, but quite frankly don't consider it very often. My son and I wanted to grab a quick bite, didn't want to venture to far, but could think of a place we wanted to eat. I have a hankering for Asian, but didn't want Chinese, had Filipino the other day (Island Flavors), no Japanese nearby, didn't feel like Pho, checked Yelp and found that this place gets favorable reviews, so we gave it a shot. OMG! Can I say, for this little place that I have driven by 100's if not 1000's of times had the BEST Kim Chi (homemade) and Kalbi ribs I have ever had! Super friendly and cheerful staff, family owned and operated with a neat history. Just celebrated 5 years, and I can see why! I'll be back for sure... and you can buy Kim Chi to take home! Hands down the best Korean in town! Oh, and if you like lumpia... you won't be disappointed, my Mom, rest her soul made the best lumpia, but between Suzy's and Island Flavors, these are the best in town!
