The hospitality at this place is beyond excellent. We went for the bowling (they do it old school with the skinny pins). The food is nothing to rant about, but the prices are right.

Great little candle pin bowling alley/pizza place/arcade. This place has it all. They have been there forever, and if you've never been candle pin bowling, its much easier for little kids because the balls are smaller (although, I think knocking down the pins is harder) haha. The bowling is fun, the arcade is great and I enjoy the pizza as well. It is a great place to bring your kids for an afternoon/evening of fun!

Visiting Vermont for spring break with my boyfriend. We felt like pizza and watching a movie so we called North Star, the girl taking our order was extremely rude on the phone and didn't even know how long we had to wait for the pizza to be delivered. We ended up waiting two and a half hours for two small pizza's that costed $36 and tasted like cheap frozen microwave pizza, it was not worth it wait for money at all.

I am from NY so I have high expectations from any pizza joint and simply speaking pizza (food) and service are the 2 most important things when it comes to eating pizza out. With that being said I think the staff was wonderful. Felt like I knew them my entire life. Must be a Vermont thing.. Love Vermont. As for the pizza, I kinda have a 1-10 scale that I use. Dominoes, pizza hut, and papa johns are on the bottom of this scale, Kashi Frozen pizza kinda falls in the 4-5 range (hey! dont knock it... that kashi Pizza Rocks... Healthy and No BS ingredients, great for a snowday pizza fix) and Frank Pepe's in Yonkers, NY, Little Italy pizza of NYC midtown, Naples 45 Grand Central Station, and La Villa of Howard beach top the scales at 9's and 10's. Using this scale North Star pizza gets a 3. Dough was DOUGHY, SAUCE undercooked, ingredients were fresh though but, the cheese ughhh well it was kinda wanna be polly-o. But, if you are in that part of Vermont and need a pizza fix, wanna save a few bucks and not eat at some overprice MT Snow restaurants then it still beats Dominoes.

After spending 5 days in the West Dover/Wilmington Vermont area, you soon learn that besides hiking, there really is not a lot of recreational choices to pick from in the summer months. We were suprised that we found a business that stayed open later than 5 or 6 o'clock! The candlestick bowling was fun and we really loved the instructions given to us by the owner. We also ordered pizza. Now this establishment had gluten free pizza....A HUGE PLUS FOR US as my wife is allergic. This may also have been the best gluten free pizza we ever had! The employees were friendly and made us feel like we were the only ones there. We were touched also by the stories told to us about the flood that the area, including this business had to endure. They lost everything and have had to rebuild from scratch. Remember this, if you think the prices tend to be a bit high. Also remember, where else are you going to go? These people were awesome and the fact that this business never gave up in the face of extreme adversity, make them a 5/5 in our book!

Great place to stop by when you're in the area. The food selection in the area isn't the greatest but this place is a hidden gem. The owners made some delicious calzones and stromboli's for my friends and I while providing excellent service and joking around with our group. Before and after the food we took a break to play some of the arcades and play a game of boccie bowling. I've never seen this version of bowling before but I have to say, I think its way more fun than regular bowling since (almost) no one takes it seriously. The owners let us stay past the 10pm closing time and made no effort to rush us out or dampen our fun. Will definitely be going back when I'm up at Mount Snow again.

My friends and I ordered delivery from North Star Pizza (same facility) while we stayed at a cabin near Mount Snow ski resort. These guys were the only ones who would deliver on a Saturday night. It was about an 18 mile one way trip for them, but they only charged an extra $5, and still managed to deliver all of our food ($120+ worth) still fresh and warm! This restaurant is great! Now that I know they are connected to a bowling alley, I would definitely like to return to knock some pins down, the next time I'm in town. We ordered 3 pies (sliced tomato, veggies, and pepperoni). The sliced beefsteak tomato pie was easily the best. Their buffalo wings (not really buffalo-flavored) were very good and came with ranch dip. The fried clam strips were okay and came with tartar sauce. We also ordered salads, which came with generous amounts of Italian dressing. We also had fries, but I did not try any. They looked ordinary. If you're in the Mount Snow or Stratton area for skiing and don't feel like venturing out for grub, give North Star Pizza a call! If you do feel like venturing out, check them out for some bowling+pizza fun!
