This is a small diner with a very friendly staff. They have two U shaped counters which is cool at first but gets a little weird when you are staring across at strangers as you eat. Now the food...man I am not a fan of breakfast foods...but I had the best pancakes there. I had raspberry and blueberry pancakes which were perfect. Their bacon was crisp but not burnt and just the way I liked it. When I go back to Mt.Snow this is going to be my go-to for breakfast.

I really love this little nook! Such an adorable breakfast spot located in Wilmington. The breakfast is so so so delicious with some really great options. Just need to consider that you might need to wait a bit for seating. There are two large horse shoe shaped tables where you just seat yourself whenever a spot opens up. I will definitely be back if I'm in the Wilmington area in the future.

Good food and service at a good price in a very cute setting. This is something of a locals place, with most of the skiers and tourist flocking to Dot's but I much prefer it over Dot's. Everyone sits around the outside of a couple of big U shaped counters with the servers working from the inside. The cooks aren't far away and you can watch them work while you eat. I ate at Dot's one Day and here the next and was much happier with the food here. Even something as simple as pancakes were noticeably better here.

Went here this morning for a quick bite. The place has a warm feeling with tables in 2 large horseshoes with the waitress in the center. Service was quick and friendly, the price was affordable, and the food tasty.

Classic diner - coming into Cup N Saucer is like stepping back in time - or simple seeing the best of Southern Vermont. Warm, friendly service. Family atmosphere as groups gather around the round counters. Huge menu with super-cheap prices - and you can get the best omelettes in town and unforgettable seasonal pancake specialties. Go!

5 Stars: I visited here during the summer on the weekend so I was expecting it to be slow with it not being ski season, not the case at all which was awesome. I skipped my free hotel breakfast both days in West Dover to come here. Service was great and the seating was retro with long horseshoe shaped tables. Classic breakfast items all cooked perfectly and every item I had was done perfectly and the service was prompt. Omelet, awesome. Eggs, awesome. Banana choc chip pancakes, awesome. Home fries, awesome. Endless coffee or tea, awesome. You can see everyone cooking, awesome. Clean, awesome. Cheap, awesome. Cup N Saucer, awesome. This is a must stop or go-to breakfast spot if you are traveling through the area.

The Cup n Saucer is an unpretentious diner serving good, hearty breakfasts to locals and the tourists (like us). Inside it offers two U-shaped counters, a pair of knowledgeable waitresses and plenty of hot coffee. The Saturday morning we arrived the place was crowded with what looked to be regulars and a herd of motorcyclists (what's the deal with them always traveling in large packs? We haven't spotted a lone cyclist in a decade.). We ordered two eggs over easy on top of some delicious, meaty corned beef hash (not from the can, by the way), some pancakes (fluffy) and some sides of bacon (crispy) and sausages with gravy. And coffee. We came away filled and satisfied and pleased with our experience. It took a little while to get served, probably because it was crowded, but no one got upset.

Simple and tasty breakfast. No sense of being rushed. Terrific pancakes, especially the raspberry and blueberry pancakes!

Go where the locals go that's always has been my stance when it comes to breakfast! In town for Tough Mudder we were looking for the local greasy spoon outside the general gotcha spots and we found it, however it wasn't too greasy. Sonny's Cup N Saucer pretty local, not great for groups over four and slinging some great breakfast to grub on. Walked in an got the "looking over the news paper" you're from these here parts are yah boy look and hey I'm from the South so that doesn't faze me one bit. Ok so here the deal a great selection of breakfast delights from unhealthy to slightly healthy, but fresh and tasty. Everything that was ordered from hash to pancakes came out as described and was eaten in mere minutes. The highlight of this trip included a one of the ladies in our group getting a little tight over have her toast pre-buttered, which happened several times at several place LOL to me this pretty standard, but oh well. Also a chubby kid yelling across the diner cool tattoo broh pretty funny. Go here if your MT Snow bound and when u have time to relax this isn't a rushed affair.

It is as if because the place is busy, people feel they do not have to be courteous. We were here around 8:30 on a Sunday morning. We expected a wait, but the line moved quickly. The food was decent diner food... Minus my home fries...The home fries were burnt and dry... It was the lack of manners that bothered me the most...I understand that people are busy...That is no excuse for certain things that happened. A waitress accidentally dropped garbage on me while clearing dishes....No big deal...IF she apologized...or just acknowledged the fact that she did it....UNACCEPATBLE! When my husband went to pay the check, the waitress did not even acknowledge he was there..she simply held out her hand for the check and then the money without ever saying a word to him...including a thank you. We are easy people to wait on...no muss....no fuss...but we will NOT be going back here ever again.....

Best pancakes ever! This is a great little diner. There are only two horse shoe counters with about seating for 12 at each. If you show up with a large group it is best to split up as seats open up together. Often you will end up across or next to each other anyways. The food here is excellent! They have the best pancakes I've ever tasted. You can mix and match with different types, my personal favorite is banana walnut with apple spice, it sounds like a lot but they are delicious. They are also served with great locally produced maple syrup.

Hidden gem. Shhhhhh.... Don't tell the winter birds!...wait, I'm one of them! Seriously, great, simple spot with very "step back in time" service. Feel like I'm on set of a 1960's set. Great food, that's all that counts right?

My girlfriend and I ate at Cup N Saucer twice during an extended weekend stay we had in Vermont in mid-October. This diner has an insane number of pancake options, along with the whole array of breakfast classics. I'm a big fan of banana walnut pancakes, and the ones they had were excellent. Don't tell my mom, but they're almost as good as hers! But the pancakes were on my second visit. On my first visit, I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were good, but the sausage gravy itself was great. The waiters were friendly and service was prompt. If you walk in and see a line, stand in it. It's worth it.

The food is fantastic. The last time I was able to stop in there, I got the Biscuits and Gravy and I can't wait to get back there to get more! If you have a group going, this isn't the place. It's communal seating so it's good if there are less than 4 people. The service was a LITTLE slow but they also were very busy so it was understandable. I certainly will be back as often as possible.

We ate here on the way out of town on a beautiful morning. It was excellent! I had the banana chocolate pancakes with Vermont maple syrup and wow were they could. My fiancé had the biscuits and gravy and was very impressed! I'm sure that it gets busy but they really kept things moving and got people in and out without feeling rushed. The prices were very reasonable as well!! A great find! I will definitely come back if I am in the area again!

Not as well known as their neighbor, Dot's, but just as much of a Wilmington institution. The food is fresh, delicious, and interesting. They serve typical diner style breakfasts, and unique omelette and pancake varieties, as well. Counter seating, and friendly staff make you feel like you're visiting your favorite neighborhood spot even if you don't call Wilmington home.

I hit the Cup N' Saucer at 6:10 am this morning for a quick couple of breakfast sandwisches. This was shortly after opening for the day, and they were gearing up for a busy day with a fishing derby beginning in a neighboring town, and already had a grill full of to go orders in full swing. I hit the restroom and washed my hands, and my order was bagged and ready to go with salt, pepper and additional condiments when I came out. Super Fast. Super Good. Thank you, Sonny- You Rock!

On the way to the slopes, I stopped at Sonny's Cup N Saucer, which is a local diner restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere inside is pretty classic, seating around 2 mini U shaped counters and an open kitchen and grill area. Lots of specials and popular items are posted on sheets of paper above the grill area. The dishwashing station is visible from the dining area. Most of the customers here seem to be regulars (the servers address them on a first name basis) with a few skiers in the mix. The menu offers the typical American diner fare including breakfast dishes as well as sandwiches, soups, comfort dishes, seafood, and ice cream (Gifford's). They brew New England Coffee. The portions of hot breakfast food coming ff the grill looked big. I started out with a mug of hot coffee, which was pretty good. For breakfast, I had some homemade corned beef hash, home fries, and an egg & cheese sandwich on wheat toast. The hash was pretty decent which was grilled with very minced potatoes and corned beef, no too salty. The home fries were tasty, grilled and browned with onions and seasoned with paprika. The egg & cheese sandwich was good, which had a fried egg and melted American cheese. The place was pretty busy and steady on a Saturday morning. The service was good and there were two servers taking care of both counters, rushing out big plates of food and refilling coffees. The check came out to $9.60 before tip, which is in line with most other breakfast places I've been to in New England. Overall, I had a good breakfast and I was now good to go for a long day in the snow!
