great bagels and great cream cheese. If you are looking for a variety of cream cheese flavors this is the place to go. Prices are a little high but the food was good and the service was friendly. Be aware that this place only takes cash or checks sadly. They also sell their cream cheese in containers which is a great idea.

I was really looking forward to this place. Even woke up early so I could get it before work. I got a bacon egg and cheese bagel and one with have cream cheese and half butter and a coffee. Came to almost $10. The eggs and bacon were microwaved which if I had known I wouldn't have even ordered it. My half and half bagel was all mixed together so the whole top side was cream cheese and the bottom butter not the one side butter and other side cream cheese. I even explained how I wanted it to the lady. Apparently she doesn't listen to what customers want. They didn't wrap it in foil so when I got home they were stone cold. I even asked for some before I left because I wanted them to stay hot and they said they don't have any. And to top it all off not a single worker there was wearing gloves. I most certainly will not return.

In my not-so-humble opinion, this is the best bagel bakery on the planet. I've been coming here ever since I was a little kid, and they've only gotten better. The bagels are all freshly made, soft, chewy, and really big. They're extrememly generous with the cream cheese, and they have some rather unique bagel and cream cheese flavors too. The breakfast sandwichs are also damn good for egg and meat that's microwaved. Also, they serve several micro-sodas I've never seen anywhere else and of course GMCR coffee. (Given that you can smell the factory from outside, I'd expect this.) Most of the staff I know personally, and the girls behind the counter (never seen a guy back there) are always really friendly and upbeat. There's a nice small seating area, and the radio is always on either Star 92.9 or Point 104.7. All in all, I promise you, this will be the best bagel you've ever had. I swear. PS: Bring cash, they don't do credit cards, and I think they're iffy on checks.

Wow, great sandwiches on freshly baked NYC style bagels. Breakfast (egg) and lunch (like ham, roast beef and pastrami) sandwiches. Great selection of cheese, the cheddar is great. Reasonable prices and quick service from able staff. (Important note: bring cash--they don't take plastic)

If you are looking for some breakfast or lunch in Waterbury that will be quick and affordable, this a great option. They have bagels that are clearly fresh and tasty. Some of the usual suspects are here, including one of my favorites, the SALT bagel ! And they can make you a sandwich with turkey, VT cheddar cheese or whatever you prefer. Take it out or sit at one of their tables and flip through one of the local papers/ real estate guides they have. Oh and bring CASH, no cards accepted.
