Deli bakery!!!! Awesome repeat awesome breakfast sandwiches!!! Eggs from hens on site and rolls baked daily. Wet your throat with homemade beer - can't wait to see it in stores. Loved the dunkel! Sausage was not dry - very moist. Have / will continue to go here again and again.

Decided to hit up the Trapp Brewery after swimming at Bingham falls on a sunny afternoon. I've been meaning to go to this brewery for a while. We had a great time here. They have a great selection of Trapp beers and great outdoor seating with phenomenal views of the mountains. Very relaxing. Definitely a highlight of my vacation. You should definitely check this place out. The beers are phenomenal as well.

Went here one evening after swimming at a nearby waterfall and had a wonderful experience. I had been wanting to try these beers for a while and I was not disappointed. My sister and I were able to order our beers and enjoy them outside in the beer garden while overlooking a beautiful mountain view and watching the sunset. The Vienna style beer and the summer ale, the two types we tried, were delicious. We sipped on our drinks and took in the amazing view. The staff were helpful and never rushed us. They offer quite a variety of food options. We both really enjoyed our drinks and now understand why the Trapp brewery is rated one of the best in the world. I am so impressed and will be returning soon.

Came here for a tasting and sat at the bar. They do sample flights and I think it cost $7. Out of the 10 breweries we visited in Vermont these were my husband's favorites by far. He brought three larger bottles home. They have a cafe and deli and the food I saw looked and smelled great. The employees were all friendly and they have great views from their deck. Definitely worth a stop.

Love, love everything about the Trapp Lodge. Great little deli/bakery. Very delicious spaetzle. Husband enjoys getting the flight. May seem a bit pricey, but the quality can't be beat!

Most of the Beer Connoisseurs tend to go for ales. But I think the lightness of their Austrian lager makes perfect sense for all around drinkability. We had visited this place both In the summer and the fall, and each of those times the weather happened to be perfect. The service was very friendly, the views out on the deck were amazing, and something about the warm weather and the nice cold lager rounded out a perfect experience. Each time I bought a couple of the Dunkel Lagers and the Golden Helles for later which went really well with BBQ.

Lovely deck and view...small menu, they were out of a few selections which further limited the menu. Beer was great. Order the sampler and pick your favorite from the four selections. Cool disk golf course. Hops draped down the deck added to the greatness of this establishment.

I can't say enough about this place. As a local, still... this is my favorite place to go: by myself, with my fiance, with friends, with family... with anyone visiting! The brews are good (I will say, they're $7, so to the people who complain and think that's too much for a beer, it's a brewery, they're home brews... if you want a cheap beer, find a bar with a Coors Light!), the view is amazing, it overlooks the mountains and the valley of the lower village of Stowe, the food is good (Nate in the kitchen has a great assortment of deli sandwiches/lunch choices and then has some good dinner specials, and the customer service can't be beat. The manager Tim is always around and makes everyone feel like they're the only one that's there and that you're experience is everything. At this time of the year, every Saturday they have a little live austrian music that just fits the venue! Like I said, I go up there, get a glass of wine and sit down by at the picnic tables and read a book and enjoy the view, my fiancé and I go up at least once a week to have a beer and enjoy the ambiance together, and I can't think of anywhere else we'd take friends who are from out of the area to enjoy the same experience. There are great places is Stowe to go for things if you're looking for something specific, but Trapp Brewery has it all!

Came for a tasting. Beer was good. Service was terrible and there were kids running everywhere from the deli/bakery. Saw they are opening a stand alone brewery this summer. We will def come back when the new building opens.

Been to Vermont several times, never been to the Trapp Family Lodge, and I had no idea they had a brewery there. I wanted to go just to check it out since I had seen signs for it over the years. Amy and I shared a flight of the four beers they had available on tap. I love all types of beer, but I prefer stouts and IPA's. The first two beers were lighter and crisp, very different from one another, good summer beers, but a little too light for my taste. The last two were the Vienna Amber which had a nice sweetness to it. Amy really enjoyed this one. My favorite was the Dunkel Lager. Strong flavors of malt and chocolate, nice and dark. I wanted to buy a bottle of the Dunkel (sold year round in quart sized bottles) but they had run out over the weekend with the holiday rush. There was a deli menu with some specials and a great view off the deck. They have a small gift shop inside which has some nice looking beer steins made in Germany with the Trapp logo on them, they also sell some disc golf discs. I had no idea until our bartender mentioned it, but they have a 9 hole course just off the side of the Brewery, and they are planning to expand it to 18 holes once they finish the brewery expansion. I will definitely come back here again on my next visit to northern Vermont. We highly recommend the Dunkel and it would have been a 5-star review if they had a bottle of Dunkel for me to bring home.

Stopped in with family for a bite to eat and to taste the local brew after a hike. Bartender was arrogant and a bit short. Beer is not that good and just average for such a poor attitude. Save your money and time for a place that has a staff that has a better attitude.

Really nice place to stop after a hard day of cross-country skiing! Atmosphere was rustic and homey with fireplace and natural wood decor. Beers were $7 a pint, but some of the best beer I've ever had. The Vienna Amber lager was incredibly delicious. Several vegetarian food options available. Very tasty!

Had the veggie wrap and a cheese platter, along with their Dunkel. I loved the dunkel, but the veggie wrap lacked defining character that would have made it stand out. The cheese plate was great, hosting local Cabot cheeses but something a little more exotic from cabot would be great considering the cost of the cheese platter - not something I can find in a grocery store for $5. The view from the patio area is pretty phenomenal though.
