Stopped here on a motorcycle run and had a great time....to be honest the food was good but far from great, but the place is the real deal as a roadhouse bar, good cold beer and excellent service . We had a blast!

We came up to Vermont for a few days to get away from the city and hit the slopes. On our first night, we got in late and drove by Rick's and bookmarked it as our dinner spot. Dropped off our things and headed back down Route 30 and headed on over. The ambiance is nice, typically bar scene mixed in with a family style dining room. The service was nice. The price was good (about $20 for two people). The food was okay. It was wings night so I figured when in Newfane, VT do as the Newfaneyings do, which was to order wings. My wife got the vegetarian quesadilla and a side of fries. The wings were okay, a bit too dry for my liking. The quesadilla was pretty solid and the fries were just standard fries. In short, this place doesn't do a whole lot to differentiate itself from the pack. It serves pretty standard bar food (although to be fair I didn't try the specials).

Great food and friendly service. Daily specials make the menu continuously interesting for regular patrons. The bar has a great atmosphere and is a great place to meet people!

Overpriced. Food at times is mediocre - but mostly just plain bad. When I REALLY don't feel like cooking and it's after 8pm and I don't feel like driving far- ( RARE!) I cave in and order take out from here. After eating - EVERY time - I regret it. First- when I hear the total ( how can it cost THAT much for THIS!?) and second- when I literally open the take out box and look at the food. My last experience ( 9/7/13) - ugh. Awful food, awful service - RUDE!- with the exception of a young girl named Michelle who waited on me at the window. Need to remind myself that cereal would be a better option at 8:30 at night than ordering dinner take out from here.

I love Ricks! Wing night is every Monday and it's delicious! The service can be slow when busy, but that cute blond waitress works her rump off and always delivers. Cheese lovers try the bubble bread... you will not be disappointed! Yum!

very inconsistent ......the sunday night prime rib is either quite nice or so fatty that it's barely edible.........the chicken fingers would embarrass Arthur Treacher......and nothing embarrasses Arthur Treacher.......primarily a local crowd ..... waitresses and bar tenders seem to like it that way and are moderately unpleasant to strangers......not a comfortable atmosphere.... you don't necessarily walk out hungry but you do walk out unhappy and pissed off because of the attitude.......

Nice tavern atmosphere, great family place for sandwiches, soups, salads and burgers. Good menu selection. I ate the ham, cheese and pesto panini which was very good. Sandwiches come with fries and potato salad, macaroni salad or cole slaw - pass on the macaroni salad.

We've been here in the winter. We've been here in the summer. We seem to make it back here on most trips we make to this area of VT. We've always found it a consistently decent place to go and the service is typically friendly and helpful with a random minor acception. The Friday night all you can eat Fish & Chips is a great deal at $11.95 and always cooked perfectly. The beer selection is pleasantly good for those of us beer snobs that don't like anything with "light" in the name. An Otter Creek selection and Rick's Pale Ale (made by a local VT brewery) are pretty much always available and always a good decision. Live music on the weekends. Good place for groups, families, drinks & burgers, too. I would have to say Rick's is a safe bet if you're in the area and want a decent, no frills place. Oh, and Free Wi-Fi in an area with virtually no cell service, so that's a bonus.

Went here the other day and was surprised at how good the food was. The onion rings are amazing...def get them. The rodeo burger had a great smokey taste to it, and my wife got the veggie quesadilla that was huge and delicious. We will defiantly be coming back !

Phone number on YELP is wrong - should be 802-365-4310. Just moved to the area and think I just found our hangout! Great music and wonderful food. Satisfied some picky eaters as well as boys with big appetites! Had the best cosmo!

I met a friend here for dinner last week, she recommended the place as having great food. Well, I must admit that there isn't much competition in this area of Vermont, so I guess a meal cooked by someone else is better than nothing. She encouraged me to try the seafood, and since the place reeks of fried seafood, I figured what the heck, may as well try it so long as I was going to smell it anyway. So I had the Fisherman's platter, which was shrimp, scallops and haddock. The haddock was actually pretty good, so I assume their fish & chips is at least edible. The scallops were practically rancid. Spoken from someone who loves her scallops and is sad when they are sad. Thus, a sad dinner was had. I won't be back unless its perhaps to try a take-out burger (they have a little take-out window which does distinguish it from all the other Vermont restaurants I have tried.)

Good old reliable Rick's has been a go-to place for me for decades. Nice people work there and the comfort food they serve may not always be the most inspired but it is certainly consistent and just fine.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
