We've eaten here several times at the different locations: one just past downtown Stowe, one a little further along on Route 15, and one at a sort of camp/club place. Huge menu, quite cheap (four people can get meals, fried sides, and drinks for less than $40 all together), and friendly service. We've tried the burgers, shakes, almost everything fried (the fried mushrooms are surprisingly good - very crunchy breading and they get cooked all the way through), creemees, hot link sandwiches, and lots more. Look up for the main menu in white-on-black lettering, plus the enormous array of specials advertised on colorful laminated signs all over the front. There are often flies zooming around the tables closest to the snack bar, but there's always outdoor seating on a little grassy area, or you could always get it to go too. Essential for your summer fried food fix!

Best place on a hot summer day, they have hundreds of creeme (soft serve ice cream) flavors and great hot dogs and burgers, the one on Route 15 offers pizza as well. Be warned, the lines can get really long, and the waits are hard to do in the hot sun.but it's so worth it

This review is for the Stowe location. Don't get the bison burger! Most items seem to be frozen which is good for the ice cream but bad for everything else. It has a huge selection which means there is no telling how long it's been frozen. And it all seems prepackaged

** this review is for the pizza section only ** Holy smokes. Not to be confused with the typical frozen 'Tony's Pizza', Mr Anthony "Tony" himself is of Italian descent and comes to Mo-Vegas by way of NY. We stopped by this little unassuming snack bar and tried his pizza last week. The pizza section has the appearance of being a separate venture and his attention to detail and the love of his 'craft' shows. I got the Margarita pizza which was topped with a lot of sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil. The first words out of my mouth were "wow... this is the best pizza I have ever had in Vermont." This was a true fork and knife pizza with the amount of sauce on it but it truly added to the pizza. You could taste the tomatoes and seasonings, much unlike most pizzas where the sauce is so over-processed there is no remnant of the ingredient from whence it came. The crust was gorgeous and crispy throughout and I loved the sesame seeds on it. I could taste a thin layer of Parmesan on (or in?) the crust as well. A good meal for me is one that I can't stop thinking about... this was certainly one of those! I know nothing about the snack bar but my husband said the food there is very typical snack bar fare and not that great (he drives by regularly). But the pizza... wow. Keep up the good work, Tony!

I've been going to this snack bar for years, eating their Reuben sandwiches and drinking the thick shakes. I've heard people raving about their pizza, but I'm not really a pizza person, and I thought their pizza prices were high. I'm a convert! The pizza is amazing! Plenty of toppings on top of perfect dough and cooked just right. The slices are huge! Typical two slice eaters could only eat one! This is my new favorite pizza place. I can't wait to try the buffalo chicken!

Daaaamn.....is there anything they DON"T have on the menu?! I love this place. I love it mostly for the fact that they have bison burgers. But aside from that this place is drive-in heaven. I'm thrilled to have this in my backyard. :)

This is by far the best pizza around. We will drive a little farther to get this real NY style pizza. So many options! And, if you're waiting, try a garlic knot! Can't wait until the spring comes to get my pizza fix!

Anthony's pizza at the Mountain View Snack Bar in Morrisville, VT is the true, New York original. It all starts, of course, with a perfectly browned yet tender-crisp crust. Generous amounts of quality toppings create a truly satisfying pizza experience. Who knew that the Northeast Kingdom could be such a hot bed of pizza excellence?! Open through October and now offering local delivery. The rest of the Mountain View's menu is just as good. Everything is prepared fresh, from sandwiches and burgers to poutine and gyros - it's all good!
