Very charming restaurant. Spectacular views of the surrounding mountains at sunset. Great menu of both beer and food. Recommend it to anyone in the Lyndon area. Worth the drive.

There doesn't seem to be a wide choice of decent places to eat in Lyndonville, so I was pleased to find this place on Yelp, and on the first night of our arrival (we were here for a convention), we decided to check it out on impulse. Although it was a Tuesday it was very well patronised, and as we didn't have a reservation we had to wait a short while. There didn't seem to be anyone to acknowledge our existence when we entered (although to be fair we had used the wrong door), but once the owner found us she soon had us seated in the hall with drinks on order, and it wasn't too long before we were seated in the conservatory out back, which has spectacular views over the valley. I had a smoked salmon pasta special that was actually a bit too creamy for my taste so I didn't enjoy it that much; but don't let that put you off what is otherwise a fine dining experience.

Went the other night for the first time in a while. Food was well prepared and there were several dishes on the menu that we would have enjoyed. Wife had the sweet tater gnocchi which were closer to fritters and were very dense but good. I had a shrimp and mussel special that was pretty darn good. Here is the challenge we had......service slowed to a literal crawl. Bar service was very slow but the cocktails were well made. Up until I ordered a Sav Blanc to go with dinner and the "new" bartender brought a glass of unidentified red wine......I tried correcting her but it was falling on deaf and slightly clueless ears.....so I drank it......then the space time continuum came to a halt......given the long delay we passed on dessert and went out for ice cream instead. I would consider going back but with some new options in the area they need to step up service.....they lost out on another round of drinks and desserts based on the slow service.

Consistently good. Schnitzel is delicious. Burger is best around. All around good value, consistent service and good food.

We just basically got turned away from this restaurant. Many empty tables in the dining room and we were told there was over an hour wait. Uhhhhh? Ok. We WOULD have spent probably close to $100 plus a generous gratuity...their loss. Doubt I'll go there again for the mediocre food at inflated prices.

Food and setting was amazing! Staff was nice but service was hit or miss. Our first time there the service was horrendous. We went again for the food and the service was much, much better.

Average accommodation but superior restaurant. Creative amazing flavors in each dish we had. 3 stars for room but 5 for dinner. Room was clean. Air conditioning in some rooms, not all.

This majestic restaurant is a note of country with a hint of upscale boston. The people are the best. I was greeted by the owners at the door and immediately seated. Every waitress I got was spectacular either for breakfast or dinner. They are very kid friendly and the kids get great portions. The food was very delicious. I loved the house made vegetarian black bean burgers. Overall highly recommend dinning here.

I love to come here, especially in the summer months. My visit here with my sister last week was no exception. The outdoor seating, overlooking the magestic mountains and rolling hills, is picturesque and beautIful in every way. Good selection of wines and beers- we had the Long Trail summer ale. Superb. I had an appetizer of a cup of carrot ginger soup- just thick enough and sweet enough. My homemade vegetable burger with caramelized onions and Cabot cheddar cheese was out of this world. They served it with some kind of honey Dijon sauce, only a million times better than that. My sister ordered the meatloaf which was apparently very delicious as well. For dessert we had two mini cups- a red velvet cake and the creme brule. Very tasty. Overall, the entire experience was relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. I was impressed and had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back. This place is a real class act. .

Yumm!! This place is delicious. The food is traditional American, but is made from all local ingredients. I could taste the difference! If you are new to the area, try going there on a Tuesday, they had Burger and Beer Nights when I was there. Pick a burger and a local beer and it was $10, Awesome deal! What also makes this place stand out is the quality of the staff. All of them are extremely professional and helpful. Sounds like that should be obvious, but in my long experience, these folks go above and beyond to ensure a pleasurable dining experiance.

This place is by far one of the top 5 best places I have ever been. This is in very close competition with deep sea fishing in the Indian ocean, Safari adventure in Kenya, and trekking the Himalayan Mountains. We had our family christmas adventure here at the Wildflower Inn. We enjoyed family sledding, family ice skating, family skiing, family 'one horse open' sleigh rides, and family snow mobile-ing. The views surrounding the Inn are quaint and majestic. Although it is 5 hours (driving) from New York City, it is well worth it. The amenities are perfect for the area. The owner was hospitable, welcoming, and completely warming. This is now our annual 'goto' spot for the winter.

Juniper's has great food and atmosphere!! The new chef brings in a great new menu with apps and entrees that rival those of the hot spots in Boston! It is reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Add to that a well paired wine menu and this is a 'must stop' when you're in northern Vermont not only for the great food at Juniper's but also to relax and stay a few nights at the Wildflower Inn!
