Of all the restaurants I have been to, this is by far the best. Who knew such a treasure was tucked away in Killington. Everything was absolutely perfect. We had a dinner for 2 and the dining room happened to be empty that night. We started with the chicken soup and who knew such a simply dish could be so surprisingly delicious. Then we had the pork chop and duckling breast. I have had duck before and there are so many ways to go wrong in preparing but this dish was PERFECT. Moist, tender, and flavorful. We finished with the creme brulee for dessert, which was fantastic since it wasn't overly sweet. Everything was wonderful down to the dinner rolls. I am not exaggerating when I say I wanted to carry out a barrel full of their dinner rolls and butter. This restaurant will give your taste buds an awakening they have never had before. You're missing out if you don't give this place a chance because this restaurant has set a completely new set of standards for us.
The people were very nice, the service good but it was like dining in the 70's both food and decor.
Take the bridge to Bill - town connoisseur. Makes a stiff martini, tells a great tale - makes you feel welcome mm k.

Friendly place and good hearty breakfast. Only challenge was that all the food was pretty greasy.
Best breakfast in Killington for sure! Such a cozy, homey family place with warm service and great food and coffee. Come hungry bc the portions are big. Can't wait to come back!
This restaurant rocks! They are extremely accommodating of large groups and substitutions. The service was great and they were all really nice. Plus the food was great! Amazing pancakes!! Will definitely be back the next time I'm in killington

Amazing staff and super accommodating. I keep comin back. Superbly located. Rustic and charming. Plus the hot tub is super sweet and I love me a tasty beverage out there. The restaurant Marble Bar has a new chef and the sliders are spot on. Good selection of beer and wine. You don't have to eat/drink as a restaurant customer, there's kinda a free floating vibe. Everyone mingles out in the common fireplace area with drinks. Cool and chill.
I stayed at the Highline with a group of friends for our annual ski trip. The mountainside view from the Highline is spectacular. I loved the rustic feel of the lodge and the spacious thematic styles of each room. The communal living room area was my favorite part of the lodge, particularly the comfy leather couches and decor. The management and overall service was accommodating and superior to previous lodges I stayed in while visiting Vermont. I really enjoyed my time at the Highline Lodge and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and scenic getaway experience. The proximity to the bars doesn't hurt either!
My first time in VT. Great hospitality. Liz the curator made my fiance and I feel right at home. We got in very late, and our room key was left for us in an envelope. Next day, Liz gave us great lists of food and things to do. Awesome time. We will be back.

Small bakery with limited seating, better to take to go. Muffins were very good, had a peach ginger muffin with large pieces of peach in it, it clearly wasn't made from a mix. Also the muffin was a reasonable size, not an enormous more than a meal size. Staff was super pleasant. I got in just before a rush of people, the line can go from nobody to out the door quickly. I'll definitely be going back!
Always a favorite. I don't go to Killington w/out heading here for breaki + lunch. Super fresh, super yummy - and hands down the best cider donut I've ever had. It comes out warm and holy shit amazing. Thanks for being so awesome!
Very nice bakery amongst the few options available in Killington. I like the environment, the maple caffe latte is a real gem, and the Boss Hug sandwich makes for a refreshing and fulfilling lunch on our long drive back to NY from the ski gateway trip. Friendly service too Will def come back again!

Good service. "yummy, um, ummy, yummy" -says Dustin. Great wings. We had a party if 8 and ordered a variety of food, and everyone was very pleased with thier meals. I highly reccomend this place.
After searching all the restaurants on the hill for a reasonable place to eat, we discovered charity's. This place was great! We had a delicious artichoke dip, that I will most likely get every time I come back to Killington, aside from the appetizer I had the Sea bass; it was so so but I have had better. The garlic mashed were disgusting, they tasted like tangy sour mashed potatoes. The dressing on my salad was amazing. The best salad dressing I've ever tasted in my life. It was a vinaigrette with blue cheese crumbles. I highly recommend that. My boyfriends had burgers and fries which they were in love with. I'll definately be back to try a veggie burger and eat the highly recommended artichoke dip.
What a great place! Excellent food and with great service. Good place to hang out and down a few beers while eating some really good food and friendly staff.

Killington Deli

Was up in Killington this weekend for a friend's wedding. Steve, at the Greenbrier Inn, recommended the deli across the street for a great sandwich! Boy was that the best recommendation we've gotten in years! The Killington Deli is a one stop shop for gas, groceries, beer and wine, and some of the best homemade sandwiches you'll ever have. We loved this place so much that we stopped by before we left to pick up four sandwiches for the road and lunch the following day! The "Gobbler" is simply a work of art. Fresh turkey salad, cranberry, stuffing on some of the best bread I've ever had! Bottom line, I'd drive the 3+ hours back up there just for this sandwich! Very affordable too! Love it!
I work at pico and the deli is a very convenient lunch spot. And I sh*t you not, you can go there every day and never get the same sandwich. The menu is just full of them, named after local establishments. The chili is amazing too. If you need booze with your lunch, they have that too. Lastly, the pricing isn't as bad as the mountain is. The food still isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Fresh and amazing sandwiches, good Green Mountain coffee, a great assortment of chips, beer and if you're not gearing up for a long road trip back home from skiing in Killington they have some wonderful local ice cream in the freezer. It's a traditional stop before making the hours-long journey home and one that is always greatly anticipated.

As far as bars go, this was definitely my favorite one, by far in terms of both food, entertainment and services. We came here after the Spartan Beast, hungry, tired, and ready to devour anything and everything. That being said, I can state that the food was some of the best bar foods I've ever had. We shared the BBQ spring rolls, the chicken nachos. There was ample amount of proteins with the nachos and the guac, sour cream and salsa in kind. The spring rolls were not overly greasy and actually tasted quite novel. My turkey burger, unfortuantely was not very good, but the onion rings that I paid just $1.50 extra was a great hit amongst friends and there were certainly a lot of it to share. My girlfriend's stuffed burger was quite delectable and despite my personal hesitancy on eating beef, I can't deny that it was quite amazing. Did I mention there were arcade games available for the young at heart? Food: 5 stars Price: 4 stars Ambiance: great outdoor seating and plenty of seats indoors Service: 4 stars
Sat on the deck on a nice night. For apps we got the wings and spring rolls. Both were very good. wings were big and meaty. Stuffed Cheeseburger was HUGE and my husband described it as the best burger he ever had. I had the steak and cheese which was loaded and delicious with a side of home made chips. My son had a grilled cheese (adult menu) that was very good on thick delicious bread. My other son had a kids burger which was also very good. Dessert was a brownie sundae that was as big as my son's head. Everything was excellent!
After trying several places for dinner only to find hour plus long wait times for a table for 2, we settled for Jax. The place was busy as one might expect for a Saturday night. Ordered 2 burgers, one if which was pretty rare, the other delicious. We had to wait a while for the food. Food overall was very good (if the burger was cooked it would have been outstanding). Having said that, the service was outstanding! The rare burger was taken care of without question. Kevin at the bar was truly exceptional. The service was so good it warranted the 5 stars despite the rare burger. May have put 6 stars if it was an option. They had all of the games on for March Madness and even accomodated for the Bruins as well. We will definitely go back! Highly recommended.

Peppino’s Ristorante Italiano

747 Killington Rd
Killington, 05751
Reviews:
Space is recently renovated or reconstructed, I believe -- much nicer space than noted by Matt R.'s review. Service is friendly, food is a mixed bag somewhat. Very tasty mussels and other appetizers. Curiously small meat portions for the entrees, but not badly prepared.
Nice Italian restaurant, feels "old school" but in a good way. Good place for groups and families. I gave it 4 stars compared with other dining options in Killington.
Ok, Peppinos is not 1 star. And it is not 5 stars. The sauce is not out of a jar. And it is most definitely not the best selection of craft beer on the access road. That would be The Garlic, or Domenic's. Or go to Griffin's in Rutland with 20 taps. But I digress. The flavors are good, and tend to be muted, as opposed to bold. The ingredients are decent quality, and the staff is friendly. It's a decent quality restaurant in a resort town at resort prices. I think if you go with that in mind, you'll be fine. If you expect big city 5 star Italian food, you will not be happy.

The Inn At Long Trail

Reviews:
I've been going up to the Killington area for many years and we almost always make The Inn at Long Trail a stop for dinner. The atmosphere is exactly what you're looking for - you can choose from the cozy bar or nice dinning room. The menu has something for everyone and I have always been very impressed (the Irish soda bread is to die for). And the live music on weekends is fantastic. An overall great experience!
What a find. Great throw back old school inn. Amazing breakfast, great pub, fun to have thru hikers around, owners are the best. The place has a Swiss Alps atmosphere with a twist of Guinness. I would recommend a stay at the inn and if not a visit to the pub and a climb on the local cliff or trails.
Some things never change and in the case of the Inn at Long Trail that's great. Whenever I'm passing by, and it's been too infrequently lately, I always make it a point to stop in for both their perfect Guinness pour and delicious Guinness beef stew. You should make it a point to stop in and a have an adult beverage at the bar or sit near the large rock that the pub is built around. Great food, nice people, and Irish music at the base of the Killington access road.

Had the BBQ sampler. As a southerner who rarely is impressed by the pork bbq offered north of the Mason Dixon line, this was the best I've had. The bbq chicken was excellent as well. Meat falling off the bone, great smoke flavor, solid sauce. And compared to Brooklyn prices, this was cheap, really even at southern prices. We got take out, but the bar is a sweet spot I hope to come back to and enjoy a beverage with my BBQ and watch a game.
We stood waiting for a seat for 35 minutes without any staff coming to help us. Finally when we asked about seating, they told us it would be an hour wait. Basically, the service is awful.
I love this place because the service is always so pleasant, the BBQ IS the best in Vermont and the bloody marry's are fantastic!! A must, if your in Plymouth, just driving through or staying for awhile! The music is always great and the ambience is PERFECT! A real work of art!
