Great little sandwich shop and bakery! Don't let the décor fool you. The food and customer service are top notch. This time I tried their special, an egg salad BLT. It was enormous, tasty, and served on homemade bread. Delicious! The side of potato salad was a nice touch, and the brownie that came with it was amazing I also tried the chocolate croissant, and it is to die for! I didn't even take time for a picture of it. I devoured it and wished I had bought more!!! I've also tried their apple turkey sandwich, which was I also recommend! There's nothing I haven't liked!
Funky but I like those kinds of places. Incredible homemade pastries. Yummy eclair my pulled chicken sandwich was huge. I loved the raspberry mayo. Came with chips and a small brownie. Good value. The bathroom was almost in the kitchen. They posted their latest health dept report where they got a 99. Being a former inspector I beg to differ. Without even seeing the kitchen I saw 4 minor violations.
Slightly disappointed by their lack in coffee selection but their incredible cold brew made up for it. As a cold brew snob, I was thrilled with the richness and strength of theirs. The strawberry and rhubarb pie was tart to perfection. There was a not so appealing scent inside, however.

I went here for only the second time today, and I was thoroughly impressed! The first time I went, I had breakfast with several people. We all raved about the breakfast sandwiches! This time I had the chicken curry sandwich and my dad had the turkey club. They were both very well made, and the chicken curry was outstanding. For dessert we had raspberry cheesecake, and we absolutely devoured it! I also have to say that it also has the nicest patrons. People offered to hold the "good" table for us (the one in the sun) while others struck up conversations. It feels like home. I look forward to trying their coffee as well as each and every pastry!
One of the most unique atmospheres of any coffee shop anywhere. Memorably eclectic. Feels like a converted, Victorian B&B inside. Such a cozy experience for groups or individuals. I wish I had work I could do as an excuse to sit here all day. Great mix of locals and out-of-towners makes for good conversation. The coffee itself was a bit underwhelming. Lattes taste like something I could make at home, but baked goods and sandwiches make up for it. In aggregate, it's the best spot anywhere nearby.
Great food and friendly ppl! Perfect for when vsc residents need a break from the studios or food at the red mill. Comfy couches, outlets, and big beautiful porch make it easy to hang out here

An awesome, friendly and really tasty restaurant in downtown Johnson! Per an advertisement in the "Smugg's" magazine, we ventured to this relatively new restaurant, and we are so happy we made the 20 minute drive. We were promptly greeted when we entered and seated immediately. The "hostess" (who we later learned through conversation is also a co-owner) was friendly and welcoming. We all thought the ambiance was clean and cozy. Now, the important stuff-the food! Between the 3 of us, we ordered the PEI mussels appetizer (easily an entree), ziti with meatballs and the special pasta of the day. We were all thrilled with our meals and had plenty of leftovers to bring home and enjoy the next day. The food was locally-sourced and so fresh. The prices were also very reasonable. We loved chatting with our waitress (the same co-owner mentioned above) and learning about the restaurant. We are planning to visit again before we head back to CT, as the food was that delicious! A must-visit in Johnson! You won't be disappointed!
Not a fan of the wing appetizer. The skin was soggy and the sauce bland. The pizza was tasty, and a nice balance of flavors. Service was friendly but slow. Good craft beers on tap.
Excellent chill vibe, great community feel. Delicious food, great beer on tap. Wings were awesome, pizza was fresh, with tasty ingredients. A needed break from the typical tourist vibe of many places on the area. Highly recommend for a relaxed low pressure satisfying meal

Wicked Wings

I will NEVER do business with wicked wings again. They have the most disrespectful staff I have ever dealt with, less than perfect food, and all around horrible attitudes in general. If you are looking for good food and good service, please do yourself a favor and just pass right by this place. You will get better food and service form a mcdonalds drive-thru. They will never come close to having the reputation of the Plum & Main resturaunt that was previously there. Wicked wings is not a respectable buisness, it is a low-class, poor quality dive bar. If you want to get drunk, they can manage that, but if you are looking for a decent, respectable place to sit and have a nice meal, dont bother here. I know absolutly nothing about The Hub resturant right across the street, but im sure they can treat you way nicer and serve you way better than wicked wings ever would. If you ever have the opportunity or the thought to go to wicked wings...PASS!
Wicked Wings is a stop I make whenever I come back to Vermont. The wings: Fresh raw wings get deep fried. The sauce of your choice is applied to the crispy perfect cooked wing and delivered to the table. Cajun ranch is certainly my favorite although any of the other choices are acceptable including the Melt Your Face option. The ambiance is casual. The help is satisfactory. The prices are a little steep, conversely the food is excellent. A premium price for a quality product... My go to here: 10 Cajun ranch wings, hot. A large steak and cheese with cheddar and hot sauce. The wicked burger is another splendid choice. The beer and liquor is on point as far as price and selection... Remember Johnson is a college town.. So PBR is acceptable on tap.
We were visiting Vermont with the fam and just wanted some good wings. I found this place inside the resort newsletter and decided to check them out on yelp. Great reviews and a deal!! The place is a typical bar setting. Friendly staff. Food is awesome. The quesadilla was prob the best we've ever had. Had to order a second one. Wings were fresh and delicious. Definitely do not let the decor deter you. We left very happy and stuffed.
