This is my first review on yelp. The reason I'm reviewing Wicked Wings is NOT because they're wings are decent, but because their employees are rude. My hope is that whoever owns Wicked Wings takes the time to view the reviews on yelp to see how they can improve their business. I ordered take out with a friend around 2PM on a Saturday. The restaurant had four 2 tops & one of the 2 tops was just sitting down to review the menu, so the place was probably busier than usual but not CRAZY busy. I was browsing the takeout menu while my friend ordered. Being only the second time I'd been to Wicked Wings, I thought I'd ask the guy who was standing at the counter to take our order what his favorite wing sauce was. I barely opened my mouth to ask the question & was waved off & told "I can't talk to you right now" as the guy punched an amount into the cash register. If it wasn't for my friend who had already ordered & wanted wings, I would have told this guy how rude he is & walked out without supporting the business. It's beyond irritating that people in a service based industry think that they can be straight up rude to people & not have it affect their business' success. The wings were decent, but the bad taste left in my mouth from the behavior of the rude guy taking my order led to me taking the time out of my busy Saturday to actually log on to yelp to tell this business & potential patrons that you can get better wings & more friendly service at other establishments in the area. Highly disappointed.

There are so few places around here that can do a fried pickle justice and this is one of them! I got them as a side with a huge, open flame cooked burger. Perfect smoky char. It's pretty standard bar fare, but done well and the prices are good. Plus, the folks working are total sweethearts. Next time we'll try the actual wings!

The good news is that the portions are pretty big, nice and attentive wait staff. Ordered the traditional Buffalo wings but found them very oily and not so appealing. My friend had the barbecue wings which were better. Ok place but wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

My boyfriend got 10 face melting and 10 mild wings. He said they are nice and crispy but prefers a little more sauce. The melt your face off flavor is too hot to enjoy, and he loves blazin sauce at BWW so be aware, it's ridiculous. Overall glad this place is open late for his 10pm wing cravings and the staff was so nice.

The service was excellent, cheerful, and quick. However the hot wings were not hot at all and were SO HUGE but literally all bone. When I bit into one wing, the meat was cold and hard but the outside was fried. My friend got a flavor that was a dry rub and said they tasted just like flavorless fried chicken. The caesar salad I ordered included lettuce that was mostly red and brown and wilted.

I have eaten at Wicked Wings many times since it opened. Every time I've had excellent food and service. I usually get the boneless wings (honey BBQ and garlic parmesan) with fried pickles and cheesy bacon fries. Sometimes I call ahead and pick up, other times I order delivery; either way, the service has always been very friendly and professional. I placed an order for delivery earlier tonight--the delivery arrived well before the estimated time (as it always does), and it was hot and fresh! WW cooks in a way that keeps fried food hot and fresh--and it's always good! Everyone has their own experience at any given restaurant. My experience at Wicked Wings has always been very good and I'm glad they're there!

I'd like to start this review off by saying that it is astonishing that any restaurant (without a bar) in the greater Burlington area is open until midnight on a Monday night. I'm not really sure how they can justify keeping it open, assuming they don't get a lot of toasted and loopy pre-teens coming in after their curfew. Most restaurants in the area close at an alarming time of 8 or 9 oclock. Big fan. Now to the wings... I had been drooling over the thought of ordering a platter of nice hut buffalo wings for 3 days. I'd sit in my cube and catch myself daydreaming of the dripping, wet, hut, tangy buffalo sauce coating my mouth only to be cooled by some creamy ranch dressing. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. I was still drooling as I walked into Wicked Wings late last night after ordering a 20 piece medium buffalo wing earlier. Little did I know the horrors that would ensue when I got back to my cabin. When I began opening the cardboard box with wax paper lining inside, the strange pepper smell filled my nostrils. Being a self-proclaimed buffalo chicken enthusiast, this smell was one that I was unfamiliar of. As I peeled back the last layer of cardboard, I was terrified to find a dainty pile of shriveled seemingly plain chicken wings. I'm not sure what trickery Wicked Wings is trying to pull here. Do they consider black pepper "buffalo" sauce? Do they just assume any regular non passionate buffalo sauce fan will chow down these wings with blinders on? The wings weren't so bad, as it's really difficult to make a chicken wing taste bad, but they were no medium buffalo sauced wings. Nosir. I get shrively just thinking about it. Should I ever decide to try the seemingly popular 'wicked wing' I will return, but if I'm jonesing a nice pile of buffalo wings my business will be taken elsewhere. Peace, love, buffalo sauce. ***UPDATE: I ate the remaining leftover wings and found that they had some buffalo sauce in the bottom of the box.. what I think they did is they had leftover wicked wings and didn't make new ones for my bufffalo so they just dunked the wicked wings in buffalo sauce and called them good.. the smokyness and pepper from the wicked wings overpowered the sauce/ the sauce didn't really stick. I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed. I had garlic Parmesan boneless wings, which consisted of dry chicken fingers sprinkled with cheese and some spices. My husband had honey bbq bone in wings, which were small and just okay in flavor.

So to be completely fair we stopped at lunch Easter Sunday. So we decided to order the full spectrum of food. My wife and son got chicken teriyaki chicken wings and a burger. The wings were so salty I wish we didn't drive home before trying them, I would have sent them back. The burger was like a hockey puck and well burnt, not exaggerating either, one of the worst we have seen in a long time. I got the steak and cheese small which came on what looked like a store bought small hamburger roll. Oh to top off the bad experience their prices are way higher than anyone around. 13 dollars for a large steak and cheese before taxes; like I said I got a small for 9.00 an it was small!!! Don't bother with this place as there are some many better cheaper places around.

This place is mediocre at best. They also messed up 2 out of 3 parts of my order. My friends teriyaki wings were so salty that nobody could even finish one. Would not recommend at all.

I love that they deep fry their wings! Not enough places around here do that. When ordering I asked for them BBQ xtra crispy (which is how I like it). They came out xtra crispy and dripping with sauce. I got sauce all over and enjoyed each wing. My boyfriend ordered medium wings and the sauce was way spicier than anticipated, but still good. Could use some xtra sauce on the spicy ones. But I think that comes with preference on your wing. I suggest if you like 'em that way, to ask for them wet. I have seeing bad reviews when people don't articulate what they want. Love that they are opened late night. Definitely a place to try.

We came to eat here at the recommendation of a close friend. The atmosphere is a bit confused it's a wing joint but looks like a Chinese food place. The fried pickles are AMAZING they are thick cut and crunchy. The wings that we chose were okay. Garlic parm, very oily so not much flavor. We found that they don't use buffalo sauce, but instead use a hot sauce base. All you can taste is tobasco and very little else. We hope to come back and try some other flavors. All and all not great but not horrible either.

Colin is a master of culinary expertise! I am a fan of pretty much every item on the menu! Absolute favorite is the falafel!!! That is crazy awesome!

Their specialty "Wicked Wings" are some of the best wings I have ever had. Fried, then seasoned, grilled and smoked. Just a little heat and absolutely fantastic flavor..worth little longer wait. I was initially thrown off the "wicked wings" only came in order of 20 wings (no less, other styles offered in smaller quantities), BUT once I tried them I understand why, could not stop eating them!!!! Rest of menu looks pretty good and looking forward to many future lunches at Wicked Wings to try other items.
