My husband and I hired Wetherbee's for our wedding reception. The reception was at Button Bay State Park and they were extremely professional and helpful. They helped us figure out how much food to order, and talked us out of buying too much food. They nailed the amount to a T! We had exactly the right amount of food and they served huge portions of the beef! They are very affordable and great quality. I was extremely impressed with their service. And they even helped serve the cake (which was not a part of their job since we got it from Costco), and helped make it all go smoothly. All our guests said they had plenty to eat and that it was an excellent meal!

Real deal local greasy spoon and bakery. The owners are lovely (a family owns and runs the place), the baked goods are like you grandma made, and there's nothing pretentious or put on about it. Good people, good food. Locals love it.
great food. Have "The Buster"...ask for Amanda, she is a very nice server.
Ok, it's 8:09 pm, about twelve hours since I had breakfast here. And I'm trying to figure out how to get out there again. I am fantasizing about having the exact same breakfast! Kinda weird but that's what happens when I run across a place and the next day doesn't have me 600 miles away. First of all, I humbly apologize for not getting some pics of their donut case. Truth be told, I can't get too close or I'll cross over the event horizon and disappear. Never met a donut I didn't like and theirs look amazing. Second, the food is the thing but if it don't got that staff thing, pack it up. Your stomach may be fed but you soul will still be hungry. What can I say? Everyone is wonderful. Friendly, cheerful, they all know the regulars. Personalities instead of plastic smiles and manners. Third, SUPERB stick to your ribs, honest, diner food. Scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuit and gravy. That's me at the counter, cursing and laughing in amazement, having a grand ol' time. Bacon was thick. Eggs just right. Gravy was soooooo damn tasty. Biscuit was great. Heard the waitress talking about how they preferred the red potatoes. Where the f*** do you ever hear the front of the house talking about that stuff. Fourth, portion control was great. I have been known to overdo it and get up from the table in actual pain. Full but not straining. I can appreciate the art of haute cuisine, but it feeds my palate, not my stomach and soul.

Awesome please to watch a movie. Two movies for the price of one!!! Four screens at the same time. The screens are clear even from the back row. Each row is banked for better viewing. Each screen has its own radio frequency and don't interfere with the other screens. Great place to bring the family for the evening.
An absolute gem! I can remember my first time being brought her by my parents, piling pillows into the bed of my dads truck, snuggling up under the stars! Love being able to see 2 movies for the price of one! & you can bring whatever food you want. Good selection at the snack bar. Friendly staff. A place I hit up multiple times every summer.
my absolute favorite place to go in the summer. Well worth the 3 hour drive!

We got takeout from here our first night in our new house in Colchester. This place is pretty good. Nothing fancy or too expensive, just your typical Italian pizzaria. I am always on the lookout for decent breaded mushrooms and this place has the best by far in the area. We will definitely order from them again and we'd love to actually go there and eat.
$2 draft beer and good food in a comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff and owners. My fiancé enjoyed the pizza because there wasn't a lot of sauce and no herbs and spices on the cheese. Will be back to support a local business
Holy cow - what a DELIGHTFUL find while traveling in the Burlington area! Imagine our surprise to find that this well-rated pizza joint is situated adjacent to a gas station, ostensibly in what would've been retail or storage space in the past. We're suckers for artisan pizza, and thought we must have misread something when we pulled into the parking lot. Truly, the quality of the 'za does NOT match the exterior. Don't be afraid, walk right in and order! A myriad of toppings/combos to delight in. All ingredients were fresh, flavorful. The crust is delicious - hand tossed, thin and tender. Super-friendly service to boot. And priced so reasonably we had to do a double take! We popped in for the first time during UVM orientation in June. It was so good, we couldn't WAIT to get back when we moved the Kid into the dorms in August!

Pizza is OK but nothing special. Crust is right on par. Not a lot of sauce but I ordered the Works so I got all kinds of fresh toppings. The taste wasn't out of this world great but made for a decent pizza. They have some booth indoor seating but I opted for take out which was on time and hot. Busy on a Friday night. They have parking (good for take out). I would say, if you're desperately looking for pizza in the area, you can basically depend on NY Pizza Oven to make a "good enough" pie.
Good thin crust pizza. but, if this place closes at 9pm, the name of " New York" is a misnomer for the obvious reasons. Ha, somebody got the clue- congrats on your new hours!
Have you been here? No? Because it's so far from town. Okay. Is it worth the drive? Well, that's a tough question. What's your criterion? I'd put it in the same category as Leonardo's, Mr. Mike's, and Big Daddy's, all of whom do very solid work. But. If--like us--you are in their delivery zone, they are a serious contender. Especially if Big Daddy's website is down (which, alas, it sometimes is). Or, if you want something other than just pizza pizza pizza, which knocks out Leonardo's. I've never lived in New York (City) or Long Island, apparently ground zero for "New York" pizza. So I'm just not gonna get into it about authenticity. In our experience, this place makes good, really good food. Their grinders, for us, are worth the drive. Classic. Their pizza is good. It's very suburban strip-shopping-center-y. Is that a bad thing? I don't think so. Long story short, if they are, for whatever reasons, a convenient option, I am confident you will be satisfied. I'd say something about it being work-a-day, but that does a grave disservice to the work-a-day grind of running a restaurant that serves high-quality, consistent food: it's tough. It's unrelenting. They are doing it. Well. They've earned our respect.

If you like a big'ol American fry up breakfast, this place is for you. GPD is a quirky take on the diner in Mayberry! If your lookin' ta pack on some pounds, ya come to he right place, there guy!
We've been dining here now since TGP opened over a year ago. Over all, we've been extremely impressed with the quality, value and consistency offered. The only minor negative is that at busy times you can expect to wait quite a while for your food. But honestly, it's always worth the wait!! There were some recent modest price increases, but they seem to have been offset fairly by even larger portions. The home-fries have changed recently too -- they are bigger chunks of potato and seem to be seasoned more aggressively. A welcome update. For breakfast, the Veggie Eggs Benedict is my favorite, and it is always on point. My wife has had the egg/cheese sandwich the last few times we've dined there, and you can't beat it for $4.99 with hand-cut home-fries. Coffee is fresh, hot and plentiful. Service is always with a smile, and unless you dine during the weekend at busy times, it's very speedy. I love hot sauces with my breakfast, and I like that I can choose from Frank's, Sriracha or Tabasco at TGP. But it would be even better to have available some of the excellent local hot-sauces available, such as the delicious Peach Ginger Habanero" from Vermont Pepper Works. Think you could make that happen, TGP? I'm upping the rating to 5-stars because of the consistent quality and good value for money. This is a local favorite.
The new go to diner for my fiancé and I. Quick, inexpensive and simple food. I have yet to try something I don't like. Love going for breakfast, which is conveniently served all day! I've been keen on ordering the 'Americana' : eggs served how you please, homefries crisped to perfection, toast (I usually opt out) and choice of fresh toast or pancake short stack which obviously comes with Vermont maple syrup. All for $8.99! Can't beat it! Love that we can fill up for $20! Friendly, consistent staff always tentative to refills/needs of tables. Long time coming for this sort of spot in the bay. Don't go anywhere!

I enjoy going to the Lighthouse occasionally - especially when I'm in the mood for a good steak. My last visit didn't disappoint. I ordered the prime rib special which came perfectly cooked with asparagus, twice baked potato and some kind of spinach & egg combination that I really didn't care for. Washed it all down with a Switchback. Be careful not to over do it at the bountiful salad bar prior to your meal or you'll be taking home a doggie bag. Finished off with a chocolate raspberry mousse - excellent! The musical entertainment of Rick Guest & his dad singing Frank Sinatra tunes was a hoot! Over all - good comfort food with decent prices - would definitely recommend for the family, travelers and those not looking for an overly "fancy" menu.
Overall I think this place was fine, but it just could be so much more. For the price, they give you a ton of food. You get a salad bar which is mediocre, and fresh bread, which was very nice. I ordered a Bistro steak with potatoes, and a large group of fresh cooked veggies, all around the portion size was massive. You'll see in my picture however the presentation was really good, the potatoes weren't bad, however the steak lacked flavor or spice. I was rather disappointed overall with the steak, which really was cooked right, just terribly bland. I really think that with just some adjustments this place could be pretty fantastic.
Less than awesome to say the least. 45 min wait for a table usually means the place is hopping and probably good. Finally got sat at a table with no room to fit two tiny 10 year olds. Waited 20 min for someone to come to the table. Didn't get all of our drinks at the same time. Misinformation about the food. No silverware. Half the food came out while the other 2 sat there with no food for 20 min. Over cooked filet mignon that was dry and tough. Over all a terrible experience. Very apologetic waitress but she couldn't keep up. Waste of a Birthday dinner.

We had our employee annual pizza dinner after our annual bowling marathon. There was 24 of us and we had pre arranged a reservation with a pre set menu. On arrival the table was nicely pre set with the salads. From there the service by Jessica was outstanding and the pizzas were excellent. A very enjoyable evening it was. Thanks Juniors for taking care of us.
Authentic Italian recipes they say? here is how they make it 1. get some chicken fingers from the kids menu overcook them 2. boil some pasta 3.put them together and cover them with cheese and marinara sauce 4. serve 5. charge $18- That's authentic old world recipes!!
The, hands down, WORST Chicken Parm I have ever had. Several very small pieces of deep fried, leather tough, paper thin chicken, I think. If this is an example of the rest of their menu I will pass on future visits. I actually sent one piece of chicken like substance back because I couldn't even cut it with a knife only to return with a sub par replacement. I never send food back. Service at the bar was good though.

Smaller bar right next to the drive in theatre in Colchester. The parking seems a bit tight but I was here on a very busy night. There was a flood relief benefits concert so the place was packed. They have a few tables for sitting. As well as a stage for bands. The only complaint I have is that the sound system is too large and too loud for the size of the place. The bar staff seem very friendly and attentive. Worth a drop in.

Went here with my SO and mom for lunch! My mom had previous good experiences here and wanted me to come to write a review. First thing first! USB ports and outlets at the table in a easily accessed location, I love this idea! Great for chilling there for a while using your laptop or charging your phone. There was a TV right over the outlet, needless to say we enjoyed rewatching Wreck it Ralph. The food was average, unremarkable, but good enough that McGillicuddy's didn't lose any stars. Our waitress was very pleasant and nice. Food was timed perfectly, came at a perfect middle range where we had time to talk before chowing down. If the food was better it would be five stars! I think next time I'll try their chicken pot pie!
I live next to Maguillicuddy's and have eaten here several times. Also have sent family and friends to the restaurant. I have not had a bad meal nor have I heard a bad comment from anyone I recommended the restaurant. It has a nice pub atmosphere and the staff is friendly. There are plenty of TVs as well as a personal TV in each booth. The beer list is good and extensive.
Little expensive, but better food than last restaurant that was here. Hope they keep up the good work.
