We spend summers in Vermont. Go to the concert in town Thursdays(Fair Haven). So it was wonderful to go eat at Big Bob's Food Shack again. THe food was great and plentiful. I had the panfried monkfish. my wife had the fried clams. Took friends with us and they had sirloin tips all excellent. No room for dessert especially as ice cream was being given away during the concert. Great to be back in Vermont and get great food along with fantastic service.

I thought the food was mediocre at best. Clams were greasy and chewy. Service was sloppy and a little bit short. Nothing exciting and certainly did not make me feel welcome. Can't in good conscious recommend to anyone.

Big Bob's has incredible food!....huge portions! My 2 favorites are the fried clam platter and the hamburger....oh, my gosh it's a monster and so good! You won't be disappointed if you give them a try!
