Stopped by this little town just to come here! Very good move, we got the Mt Hunger pizza and a side order of tater tots. Mt Hunger had basically everything on it and a large pie was the perfect size for four very hungry people. There were all sorts of cute things inside the pizza shop - homemade hats for sale, games and toys, and an ice cream stand that I regrettably didn't try. Next time!

Got the calzone from here and it was delicious. I also got a slice of pizza just to try it, and that was delicious too. Plus the fact it's only a 2 minute walk from my house! This will definitely become a regular spot to eat for me

I love the atmosphere here! Don't get me wrong-- the food and service are great, too-- but (to my mind) what makes this place really special is the casual and friendly atmosphere. Games are in bookcases, inviting diners to grab a comfortable chair and hang out for a while. It's a great meeting place for teams after games, multi-family gatherings or even just a fun night out with family and/or friends. We're definitely fans!

This is bethel's restaurant, a great menu, great staff, wonderful environment, and great food. It also has free wi-fi and many tables varying in size. Great for one or a party of 10! They are super nice and very relaxed. They have a great ice cream parlor in the store very 80's and very nice. The Bethel Ranch and the Turkey Bacon Panini and all of the starters are great! If you're anywhere near bethel drop by Cockadoodle!

Happened on this place while driving back from the BTV airport and stopped on an impulse. We shared the buffalo chicken pizza and it was very good! Yummy crust. Fun spot, too.

The pizza is very, very, very good. The owners are attentive and great. Interesting beer selection. Hand dipped ice cream. All in a refurbished old store that is brimming with goofy chickens and other strange and interesting bits.

We did carry out from here the other night. Cheese pizza and a Greek salad. The pizza was fine- nothing special but not bad at all. The salad was interesting to me as it was not like the Greek salads we have in The Detroit area. They used a green leaf lettuce (which was an improvement to the iceberg we get if you ask me). They also added green peppers which I was not expecting. Then the things I thought we'd get (peppercinis and beets) were missing. Plus it came with a balsamic rather then a Greek dressing. It was good but not what I'd expected. I missed not having the beets and dressing. On another occassion we had the white rocks pizza and that was very good. i'd gladly eat that again.

Best pizza place around. The other pizza places around don't come close to Cockadoodle.

Great spot. Beer. Ice Cream. Pizza. Not necessarily in that order. Great new location and they did an incredible job updating a great old space. Thank you for keeping the old soda fountain! If you were in Cambridge, MA you'd make a million!

Great sandwiches and pizza. Loved the old-style soda fountain counter. Nice people. Great find as were driving around Vermont.

Excellent Pizza in a funky little spot. Calzones were huge, pizza had a nice chewy crust with flavorful sauce, and plentiful, fresh toppings. Will definitely be back!

Best pizza in the area. Laid back atmosphere, good local brews, old-school ice cream parlor counter. Free wifi and board games available to play. Just a great spot all around, stop by if you are in the area!

Just passing through on 89 and wanted a quick bite to eat with 3 young kids. Perfect atmosphere, eclectic decor, toys/games for the kids but would have been great for just adults also. Good food, gluten-free pizza crust, nice people. Very Clean including bathrooms.

I really like this place. Totally unpretentious, homey, with solid good food. We had a pizza with spinach, olives, mushrooms and sausage that was totally good, and were able to get a side of anchovies to go with it. I really dug the local blackberry beer, and was ridiculously pleased to get carded for it, too ;) Wish I had a comfy down to earth place like this near my home.

Much better than your typical pizza and sandwich place. We tried most everything but the pizza, and it was all very good. The pizza looked good. Best of all, they serve draft craft beers. Friendly staff, attentive service, and a fun laid-back atmosphere round out a terrific experience.

This place is a gem. Quality pizza combinations, really good crust, free wifi, and the "Take and Bake" option which gives you the pizza to cook on your own so you get oven-fresh pizza at home... even if home happens to be 3 hours away! Some of the pizzas are named for local interests. My favorite du jour is the "White Rocks" pizza: feta cheese, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and olives on a garlic olive oil base, named (I assume) for the world-famous "Bethel White" granite. They serve some of the typical additional options as most pizza places (sandwiches and salads), but with the same attention to detail in ingredient matching as the pre-fixe pizza combinations. Panini are served on homemade foccacia (or other options). Definitely worth visiting, whether you're a local or happen to be dropping in from I-89.

This place is great. Fair prices, good ingredients, casual atmosphere, with a beautiful view in one of the side rooms to a dam. Wine options aren't very good, and it'd be nice if they had glasses to drink out of, but overall, a great experience.
