I'm originally from the Bethel area and have seen this place before when visiting, but never stopped. Decided to swing by here for a lunch with a friend last week. Excellent food, friendly service, quaint little space that also sells local craft beers and wines. We also had a window seat with a view of the river and falls that couldn't be beat! My friend ordered the waldorf salad wrap and I had a "downtowner" on sourdough. Fresh ingredients! The fries we shared were hand cut and perfectly seasoned. I'll definitely consider this my new go-to lunch place when "home".

Stopped by this little town just to come here! Very good move, we got the Mt Hunger pizza and a side order of tater tots. Mt Hunger had basically everything on it and a large pie was the perfect size for four very hungry people. There were all sorts of cute things inside the pizza shop - homemade hats for sale, games and toys, and an ice cream stand that I regrettably didn't try. Next time!
Got the calzone from here and it was delicious. I also got a slice of pizza just to try it, and that was delicious too. Plus the fact it's only a 2 minute walk from my house! This will definitely become a regular spot to eat for me
Always good service and good pizza! Love the artwork and comfortable country stmosphere

Two words for you: maple creamees. If you like ice cream, and maple, you will NOT be disappointed. A generous helping of Vermont goodness. I'm originally from the area, and whenever I come back "home" to visit in the summer, I make it a point to stop here for this purpose alone.
Not a very good place for anything as such, because there are several options within 20 min drive. Dont get the meatloaf -- it looked like something a baby would throw up. Other than that we had spaghetti meatballs, chilli...none of them good. We were hungry so we ate it, but would not recommend. The servers were nice people.
We stopped here on our way home from Rochester, VT. I enjoyed a late breakfast of fresh squeezed orange juice, hot coffee, and a Hogwaller! What's a Hogwaller you say? A special consisting of fried egg, cheese, breakfast ham, bacon and sausage between two slices of french toast and smothered in real maple syrup. It was both huge and delicious. If we weren't about to hit the road for six hours I would have taken half to go! My boyfriend had a fried chicken sandwich and and french fries which were crispy and delicious! I enjoy a good diner and this place definitely fit the bill - good food, down home atmosphere, and friendly service. Our one complaint-the salad bar appeared as if it had been left out a week! However, if you're ordering up garden fare at a diner.... you're doing it wrong! We enjoyed a quality brunch!
