New servers I'm praying they were upon my experience at this particular establishment. No one seemed to communicate with each other. I wish I had an excuse for the piss poor service but I can't find one. The establishment was fairly empty on a Sunday afternoon. I really wish they get their act together bc the ambience is the typical lovely PF

I've been to PFChangs before, but it had been quite a while. I ordered the orange chicken, and asked the server if it was like traditional orange chicken I can get at an Chinese food restaurant, and he confirmed that it was chicken with orange peel but a little tomato base in the sauce. Nah Bruh. It was like a marinara sauce with orange peel. It was not good at all! Maybe because I tried to be healthy and ordered it with grilled chicken instead of fried? I don't know, but he felt bad and offered to get me something else. I ordered the singapore street noodles, which is what my mother had gotten. They were phenomenal! There was perfectly cooked chicken and shrimp, he took out the carrots and the cabbage, because the cabbage mix also contained carrots, which was smart thinking on his part! The restaurant was beautiful, everything was clean and the food only took about ten minutes! Even my second order was only about ten to twelve minutes extra. I loved my meal so much I went home and found a pinterest copycat recipe so I could duplicate it at my first chance!

My visit was for over a year ago and forgot to visit Yelp and review all these places I've been. Anyways, upon entering this place, to me it smelled like any regular Chinese take out place, I thought my room mates were on exaggerating when they said it was good, but, let's keep rolling and sit down. Saw the menu, they ordered their appetizers, I didn't get anything because when I saw the prices and still, the smell of take out food and thinking; I'm at a fance take out food joint with fancy restaurant prices, even though the food didn't look any different than the local Chinese take out. I decided to try the Mongolian Beef, $17-$18 for it, I was skeptical but, it seemed like the only thing that was different than the take out joint, they brought it to the table and I thought, I ordered beef, this looks like, hmm not glazed beef but stir fried beef and two green beans. For almost $20 and 10oz of beef? I could've gone to Wegmans, get me a 2.5 lb rib eye and grill it at home. I don't mind paying for food but when it looks that bad and taste is not good at all? Decided not to come here ever again. If I want Chinese food, I go to Peking Gourmet Inn., in Falls Church or the local delivery/take out Chinese food, they're good and not as overpriced as this P.F. Chang's. Many of these restaurants in this area are overpriced and the portions of food you get are ridiculously small and does not taste good. Could it be because their chefs are not experienced enough as in their other locations? Or the restaurants need to pay for the decor and thus charge so much for so little? Who knows but I don't come to this area and eat anymore. Uncle Juilio's is just as bad and Firebirds is no exception either.

Bad service that wouldn't let us sit at our reserved table because the people who reserved it had not arrived yet. How dare me being 6 minutes early! I was parched when I entered, and because I was not allowed to sit at a table, I was not served. I eventually had to go to the bar and beg for my own water. At least at home, I can just pour myself my own water. Incredibly uninspired and uninteresting expensive salad with barely any dressing. Dishes where you could barely taste the ingredients mentioned in the menu. And the worst diarrhea in years. Thanks for nothing. I would have paid $25 to have NOT had that meal.

So back again after almost a year. The wait was a few minutes and I had hopes this would be better then my last visit. Ordered the sesame chicken, beef with broccoli, Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice for the kiddo. Star of the meal was the appetizer, dynamite shrimp, and the Mongolian beef. The sesame chicken was okay, a little on the dry side and so was the white rice. For drinks we ordered the coconut cooler and the strawberry cucumber limeade again. I tried the ginger beer and unless you really love ginger, asked to get it watered down a bit. It was very strong for me, thankfully the server had it made into two drinks but it was still a tad strong for me. For dessert we ordered the banana rolls. The ice cream is very refreshing, I think they should be a little lighter handed on the caramel sauce drizzled on top. It was a bit much and the banana rolls got soggy. It's pretty dim in there, that's the one thing that really did annoy me both times. All in all, it was okay. Probably will be back in another year.

First time to PF's, probably the last. Wednesday at 5 pm about 12 people in the place including us. Had to wait for someone to come out of the back to be seated. This person was also our waiter and was polite and professional. Co-diner ordered beef lo mien that had shrimp in it. She requested an addition napkin was given a stack of cocktail napkins. My wonton soup was tasteless until I added a large amount of soy sauce and my beef and broccoli was bland at best. No salt or pepper was on the table. My Blue Moon was semi warm and served in a bottle with no offer of a glass so forget the usual orange garnish. Co-diner declined a take home box for her left overs-a first for sure! Beautiful place but my local carryout has better tasting food.

My favorite place to dine when visiting my son at Marine Corps Base Quantico. The food is always consistently delicious but what sets this locale apart is the friendliness of the staff and their consideration of members of the military and their families. A big thanks!!

This is the worst P.F. Chang's I have ever experienced. I'm a huge fan of the restaurant and have had wonderful experiences in other cities, but we had 2 bad experiences at this location. The first time we went to this location we dined in. They weren't busy and we sat for almost 15 minutes waiting for someone to come take a drink order. Once we ordered it took a long time for our food to come out. The customer service was terrible. We wanted to give them another chance so we recently ordered carryout thinking that would be better. Boy, we were SO wrong. We ordered online and waited about 15 minutes before we left to pick it up. Once we got the restaurant, we waited 45 minutes for our food! The first person who asked for our name left for the kitchen and never came back! Where did she disappear to?? Then the manager came out and asked for our name and FINALLY brought the food out. She said she would refund us for the apps we ordered but guess what? We were never refunded. We got home and our food was COLD. Not just lukewarm, but straight up cold. It was nasty. Needless to say we will NEVER go back to this P.F. Chang's.

Just came back from a very disappointing lunch here. I've never eaten at a P.F. Chang's, but since this one was close I decided to give it a try. I think my server quit -- seriously. Despite a very empty restaurant at lunch time, it took a very long time for someone to come take my drink order. I could see she was very nervous and very new. I gave her my drink order and, since I had plenty of time to review the menu already, also ordered the spicy chicken. That kind of threw her, I could tell. She said she should probably write that down. Iced tea and the Chang's Spicy Chicken ... seemed pretty simple. She didn't seem very familiar with the menu. Several minutes later, she returned to ask if i wanted white rice or steamed brown rice. I ordered brown. The manager came over to introduce herself and apologize for the delay. I smiled and said thank you. Several minutes after that, my server came to tell me that since it was the lunch portion, I could also have soup or salad. I ordered hot and sour soup. I never saw her again, leading me to conclude that she went back to the kitchen, threw off her apron and ran out of the restaurant. The manager came by again to ask how the iced tea was and that the soup was on its way shortly. Again, she apologized for the delay. A different server came by with the soup, apologizing for the delay. He returned with my meal a few moments later, and said he wasn't sure if I wanted the white rice or the brown rice, so he brought both. Points for that! This second server was good at his job and seemed to be making the best of a bad situation. He's the reason this review got two stars instead of one. The food itself was pretty disappointing. The hot and sour soup was nothing special -- I've had better at a Chinese buffet. The spicy chicken was anything but. It was rather bland. When I see spicy on the menu, I expect some flavor. This really didn't have any. All in all, I would have been better off ordering in from some nameless Chinese takeout place. The food would have been just as good, if not better, at half the price I paid.

Never again! It took an hour for our appetizers to arrive. Half our entree orders were wrong and the food was mediocre. It took almost 20 minutes to get our credit cards back to pay the bill.

I've gone here at least 15 or 20 times since it opened and must say the food is always excellent and I've never had a single issue with it. The service though, not so much...everything from incompetent/unpleasant servers, to staff goofing off has upset me. I went there for lunch one time and the place was almost totally empty, yet an hour after ordering two entrées we still hadn't gotten our food. I had to get back to my office so I asked them what was going on and the waitress said "Oh, I didn't know you hadn't gotten your food yet" which surprised me considering she only had one other table she was serving (2 or 3 tables down from ours) and had been hanging around not doing anything. Had she actually not noticed that our table was empty with no food for an entire hour? Anyway though, the reason for 3 stars and not less is because the food is always great and I've now just started doing take out which I have not yet had any issues with. I can order and pay online and then go pick it up, and it's always ready when I arrive. If it wasn't for the take out though, I would stop going here.

The P.F. Chang's in Woodbridge was a big disappointment. Had dinner last night with hubby. Service and food was dreadful. Not going into minutiae detail since there were too many to list. We left saying we would not be coming back to this location. Next time we will return to the Fair Oaks location.

Had lunch there wow was it awful! Had coconut curry vegetables with added chicken and two egg rolls. The egg rolls were soggy with grease and had no flavor. The coconut chicken had no chicken and no sauce I think it had water for a sauce. The vegetables were raw and the dish had zero flavor. Never going to a PF Chang's again! Ever! A total waste of $20, I didn't eat it all and I didn't want to take it with me either, yuck.

We love P.F. Chang's. We've eaten at many of them, including several in Texas, the one in Richmond, in McLean, etc. This one sucks. Maybe it was off day for them, but we went for lunch. They had a number of tables seated, but definitely not slammed. Our waitress was cold in her attitude, and she was very slow. She took our order, and after my wife finished speaking, the waitress just walked off, leaving the menus all over the table. When our food finally arrived (for a table of two - 25+ minutes later), my order was wrong. I ordered beef and received chicken. When the waitress checked on us, I told her that I was content to eat it but wanted to make sure the check came out correctly. She didn't apologize for the mistake at all. Baffling. We'll probably give them one more chance because we love the chain so much, but next time better be MUCH better or we won't be going back to this location. Also of note - this location has a very bland, modern decor. It's not as neat as their typical design.

Been sitting here for 20 mins. Gave up on waiting for a hostess to ask me if I need a table, and sat at the bar instead. 20 mins later, still haven't been asked if I would like a drink, or a menu, or anything. Bartender is inventorying the drinks in the cooler behind the bar. Girl just apologized to the couple next to me for the kitchen losing their order.

Food was good! Way better than take out Chinese! The waiter wouldn't stop talking too us and getting into our conversations, I've never experienced this at a restaurant in my life. No matter what we talked about he would join in and ask us personal questions. Interesting family reunion... He even went on rants about how PF Changs is the best and everyone wants to imitate it... Lol. When we went to plan out appetizers we asked how many shrimp there were. After he told us, we ordered our appetizers accordingly. 15 minutes later he brings us half the order and says "my mistake, there are only 8 shrimp not 16 so you won't all get one". YOU KIDDING ME? We paid for what he said we'd get, but got half because he f*ked up and had no interest in resolving his glaring mistake. The entres were great, and they always filled our water, etc. Portions were also satisfying. Very professional overall, the waiter just messed up and wouldn't stop talking.

Great food and even better service! Everything came out really fast and was very gresh and delishious! Ordered chicken wraps, crab wontons, pork tocos and the new lobster sushi roll. Then for drinks we ordered the asian pear Mohito and the Mai Tai. Didnt give 5 stars becasue the wonton filling was a little dry and i was a little disappointed with the lack luster dessert menu. However, we did receive a complimentary chicken lettus wrap because they made too many! Cant beat that! But the best part was our server, he was super sweet and very attentive. KrisJohn is the name on receipt ask for him!

Horrible service, outrageous prices, for less than par food. I have eaten from this PF Changs three times. Which is three times too many. I chalked up the first time just a bad experience. The second time was a to-go order of a gluten-free dish which I paid upwards of $23 and got the smallest dish of some dried out chicken pieces that I could barely even chew through. The last and final time was a sitdown dinner with my friend, where the waiter screwed up our orders multiple times. Eventually the manager came out, gave us an explanation on why my friend couldn't get her meal. Which was because they were concerned the chicken wasn't cooked enough. And then after what seemed like a lifetime, the waiter came out and brought her the original Entree that had the chicken in it. This led to confusion as you could imagine because nothing was communicated to the waiter. There was more mess but the Long and short of it was, my friend ended up eating the chicken hoping that it was cooked while the waiter awkwardly came over to our table way too many times or stared over our shoulders waiting for an appropriate time to interrupt and talk about various subjects that he was interested in and of which he knew very little about. And my meal also sucked. Highly recommend avoiding this place!

I think you end-up paying just as much for the atmosphere as anything else. I've been there twice, service was good one time, ok the second - the waitress may be been new, but no real issues. The first time I got the Saigin street noodes - liked those. My wife got the crispy tofu, which wasn't very crispy. The second time we got the Mongolian beef and kung pao shrimp. Both were fairly tasty, but kinda greasy, making us feel unpleasantly full. I don't think this place is worth the money (and we went with a Costco merchandise card that was 25% off).

I've been here a couple times and my service is always great! Today it was over the top perfect! The staff is great! Food was good. This is my mothers first time here and she likes it. There is outside seating as well.

Had a nice meal today, and the portions were large enough for us to have split. On order between the two of us. Had reservations for 2 at 2PM but there was no crowd this Sunday. Excellent service and attention by the staff. Bad news the people sitting next to us had courtesy issues. Highly recommended for couples. Weather was nice enough for outside patio and bar, which was full.

I must say that the food is a bit overpriced for what you get at this location. The waitress had a bit of an attitude because one of my guests was indecisive about an item on the menu. She even told her it was her first time at PF Chang's and she asks what is recommended. The young lady basically said everything is recommended and gave little to no interaction with us for the remaining time there. At the end of our lunch, She began to box our food and stopped to take another order and served their drinks, then came back to boxing our food, which was not a lot. I think i may give it a go once more to give them the benefit of the doubt but I would not tell people to go when they arent that busy

Honestly PF changes has really amazing food, it really is a shame that this place may have the worst service I have ever experienced. First time I went there with my girlfriend, the place was pretty empty on a sunday evening so I figured we could be in and out rather quickly, was I wrong... Our server came out got our drink and appetizer requests (the lettuce wraps are really good) then failed to come back with either of these items for over 20mins. Now when I was in college I bartended and waited some tables so I am usually VERY lax with poor service but this guy comes back takes our order AND disappears again for almost 30mins! I couldn't believe it, thankfully another server noticed how long we were sitting there and how annoyed we must have looked and took over, I never found out what happened to our original server, was never spoken with by a manager (which I requested) and the crazy thing was I saw the same guy serving another table in a different section as I left the building. Long story short, good food, poor service.

  • Kelly B.

Service was lacking. We had to ask for napkins and were given a stack of paper napkins rather than cloth. We had to ask for condiments. The food was okay but not always hot. The crispy green beans were cold and limp. We probably will go to the Fairfax store in future. The experience is considerably better there

  • A A.

Very over priced food in tiny serving sizes that is not even as good as a decent Chinese carry out. Service always seems to mess up an order by forgetting or not bringing it to the right table. Good luck getting water refills. Ordered the chocolate wonton dessert and it was basically an empty wonton with a tiny bit of chocolate drizzle (see pics). The actual restaurant itself is a very nice place.

Heard so many great things about PF Chang so I was looking forward to my dinner. Unfortunately I was disappointed. There was nothing great about my meal except our waiter who was super nice and attentive. My son did enjoy his honey chicken dish, but I will not be returning.

This location is in a word - Questionable. I like many of the other Yelpers have been to multiple P.F. Changs locations and have always had a decent experience. So when I saw this location and it's bad reviews, I figured how bad could it be, it's a P.F. Changs? However this location seems to be the exception - it really does suck. I highly recommend you pass and spend your time & money elsewhere. I called ahead at 7pm on a Sunday night and asked how long the wait was and if I needed a reservation. I was told the wait would be 30 minutes and I put my name down. I arrived at 7:35 to a half empty restaurant but still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. The waitress was friendly and talkative, but maybe to a fault. After taking and filling our drink orders, she was hard to track down to order our meal. She was at 1-2 other tables chatting with other customers. Friendly is great, however you shouldn't let it slow down the service. We finally placed our orders 15 minutes later. When the food arrived the first thing we noticed was that the portion sizes seemed much smaller than we remembered at other P.F. Changs. The food in general was very underwhelming. The rice was too dry, the Dan Dan noodles overcooked, lettuce wraps too salty, crispy shrimp was cold & soggy and worst of all - the Hunan Style Hot Fish - which is supposed to be crispy COD, turned out to be 80% SALMON. We brought this error to the attention of our waitress who said she would look into it. Out came the "manager" and asked us how our meal was. We explained to him how this dish advertised it was Cod, but most of the fish was Salmon. His response - maybe it's just cause of the sauce that it looks like salmon. We proceeded to cut open one of the fish pieces to show him the pink INTERIOR of the salmon. It doesn't take an expert to know the difference in taste and color between salmon and a white fish like Cod. His response after visually seeing the salmon - "that's questionable." Seriously? You are welcome to taste it. Not even a word of apology, instead he's questioning us...then he simply says "well is there anything else I can get you?". No I think we are done here...forever. When the check comes out, he brings us two Coupons for free appetizers with the purchase of an entree. Umm thanks? I think he needs some management lessons. What happened to the customer is always right. We got something we didn't order, if we wanted salmon we would've ordered the salmon. At the very least he should've taken that entree off the bill since it was their error. Instead he gives us no apology and some coupons that would require us to come back and order more food? Now that's Questionable. We left the coupons on the table, paid our bill and left. Please don't make the same mistake we did and ignore the bad reviews for this location. It isn't worth wasting your time and money eating here. Food and service are both lacking. P.S. I added a picture of the "cod" in the photos. You be the judge.

Each time we visit this place for carryout we end up waiting significantly longer than the quoted time for our food. It's really obnoxious at this point. It seems to be run by amateurs for their carryout business. No issues dining in though. Food is as good as the Changs in Tysons, which is to say, the food is good.

Not sure why the low rating. We went to this one and have no complaints; food was delicious, waitress was prompt and courtesy, setting was comfortable and inviting. Highly recommended.

PF Chang's used to be a favorite, but this location has serious issues. Staff seems lethargic and just kind of miserable. Even the hostesses (your first impression people) seem bored stiff and not happy to see another icky customer. One visit can be decent, the next bad. The best recent visit was in the middle of a week day during happy hour. We ate fresh, HOT food and had good service! Just like it used to be at PF Chang's all the time. But this location has service problems (slow to nonexistent) with waitstaff complaining to us (I don't want to hear it, take it to your manager). Food can come out hot, but often comes out warm like it's been sitting on the pass for a bit. There is no ambience here. It is a huge open room that becomes as loud as a lunch room in a school cafeteria when busy. The crazy music on the PA only heaps on irritation. We've started going to Not Your Average Joe's instead and are much happier with food and service there. I hope management at PF Chang's wakes up and gets with the program.

Good sushi but the Sesame Shrimp & Fried Rice had no flavor & the Firecracker Shrimp overused siracha to give it an ounce of flavor. I usually like anything Salted Caramel; however, their version was once again, lacking flavor. What a complete disappointment. P F Chang's is too commercial & draws a crowd b/c of its ambience and trendy customers. But it takes more than that for me to patronize a restaurant. If you want good, authentic Chinese food, this is not the place. If you want a place to chit chat in a cool setting, go for it.

Ordered Mongolian beef and was seriously disappointed. For $16 I got about $4 worth of food. There was about an ice cream scoop full of brown rice and cup of beef and onions. The beef was half fatty pieces so totally useless. Used to love PF Changs but after this meal I will no longer buy from them.

Nightmare visit when I went, I'm severely allergic to shrimp, and I ended up ordering one of their chicken dishes. When I got it brought out to me it ended up being shrimp! I took one bite and could feel a creep crawl over my body. I was lucky that I had an epipen on me. The management seemed unaware of the severity of this. I will never come to this location ever again!

I was really surprised when I saw the low rating. My lady friend and I got the dinner for two and it was all tasty and well thought out. Also we had plenty of delicious leftover, to take home all for a very affordable price. Service was satisfactory as well.

  • Meeta S.

Agree with lack of consistency in prior reviews. Everytime there is something wrong with our order. The taste of the sauces keeps changing, the texture of the tofu keeps changing. The waitress recently told us it depends on who's the cook - the Latin cooks add more spice - jeez am I at PF Changs or a latino restaurant? Our orders are half the time wrongly done and just don't know if it's the waiters or the cooks messing these up. The service is also below quality. Once the waiters take your order, they're gone and hard to find! I would rate this one only 1 star but because we like the ambiance and occasionally the food comes out right, rating giving it another star - Meh, I've experienced better. We only go here because the other closes PF Chang's in is Richmond. The Richmond PF Chang's is far superior in quality and consistency of the food and service! The company really needs to give more attention to this branch, otherwise it's destined to be a failure.

Had a good experience at this restaurant. Customer service was great. I even forgot my credit card and they took the appropriate measures to secure in a safe place. They even gave me a complimentary coupon for a future visit for my troubles. I will definitely go again!

  • Rick G.

Service is a little slow, even on days where its not close to being full. My biggest complaint though is I was given the wrong order and the manager insisted that I "try it" and if I like it, to just have the wrong entree instead. It took 3 attemps to let him know I did not want the food, as he was leaving our table he finally realized I did not want it. This has only happened once but other times, the long wait for the food is typical in the evening, even on weekdays. No complaints when it finally comes out, food has been great every time.

I thought it was pretty decent as far as the PF Chang goes. Of course this is a chain restaurant, so I wasn't really expecting anything great. My sister and I ordered from the Pre Fix menu, but of course they did not have any of the dessert items except for the lemon meringue option. Everything else would have been an up-charge. I always feel like this chain is a little expensive for what they offer as far as food quality, but at least you know what to expect. Also, the service was decent.

Pros: Good Atmosphere, Great Food, Reservations, Pretty Good Mix of Cocktails and Bar Drinks, Staff/Service Cons: Limited Space, Pricey for Chinese Food, Reservations So this was my wife and I first experience with P.F. Chang's. After years of people talking about it, hearing raving reviews, hearing from various people about their experience, and seeing it on random Top 10 food lists... mostly bad or worst for you. I've always looked at it as the Tex-Mex equivalent to Chinese food. Regardless, one opened up in Woodbridge in the shopping center near us and we decided we had to try it out. Foolish us, we decided try it on a Saturday night only two weeks after it opened and apparently the restaurant Gods were not smiling down on us that night... We decided to go out of boredom and being anxious about going for awhile. We knew we would probably need to wait awhile for seating thinking that we could sit at the bar or have a few drinks prior to getting a table. We went on Saturday night at about 8:15pm. We walked in and saw a glimpse of hope as only a family of 6 was waiting for a table. We approached the disheveled hostesses as we could tell they had a busy day from Stonebridge Shopping Center Opening Day. We asked how long it would be for a table for two, they replied "Two and a half hours"... That's when we found out they took reservations over the phone. They stated that the bar area was first come first serve. We looked around as the bar was packed but saw more hope as only three girls were waiting for a seat together. As we waited looking at all the people sitting, some waiting for tables, some eating food, some having drinks, some paying for checks. We thought it would only be a matter of time before someone paid and wanted to leave, but the atmosphere within P.F. Chang's makes for a great place for conversation. As we waited, many people came in without reservations as I had fun telling them the wait time and looking at their expressions. Others decided to set up tents with the new group waiting for bar seats. As we waited we saw the girls waiting sit down at a table in the bar area. As other seats opened we thought we would grab a seat, as I walked closer we noticed the whole table clearing...turns out a lady had too much to drink and threw up. We decided not to sit at that table as the staff cleaned up and helped the lady out. I strongly suggest you stand VERY close to the bar as people will take seats without thinking twice as we learned by two girls taking the seats closest to the door (which we didn't want nor recommend). The other was the lady, who I will later thank in my story, who rudely walked in front of me and took the two seats that people were getting up from. As I approached her regarding the seats she stated that she had been waiting the whole time "I insisted that she was not waiting" when she got very defensive. A hostess (Diana?) that was finishing up with clearing the table overheard the conversation and knew we had been waiting for 45 minutes who also confronted the lady who was equally rude to her. The hostess ignored further comments. As I stood waiting another few minutes the same hostess asked if we would like a table after the confrontation, I thanked her and agreed to take the table. We were seated and had a great experience with our server. He was great to make recommendations on drinks and first timers food. We enjoyed the Organic Agave Margaritas although nothing to write home about, the Mai Tai are excellent! The dynamite shrimp are a good choice, although they were out of the lettuce wraps which I hear are the best. Now we got the two dinners for $39.99 which is a good choice although pricey for Chinese food and not being all you can eat. The deserts are also not what you expect, they are small cups or shot deserts. Although the BIG ones are worth it and HUGE! Overall, we enjoyed the experience. The hostess was what saved our whole experience. After many rude people taking our seats, she was the one person that stood out, along with our great service. The price makes it hard to turn to P.F. Chang's for a go to Chinese place. I'm not sure of the size of other P.F. Chang's but this one is a little small, but I'm sure once the glamor of it being new wears off it will be a good place to go. Also, be prepared to take home the leftovers!

Slightly better than average Asian style food. Nice atmosphere. Maybe next visit I'll find some higher accolades for this restaurant. I would eat here again and it's worth checking out if you haven't yet.

This location is still new and it shows. I have eaten there twice and it just seems they haven't worked out all there issues which is a shame. Both times the service has been slow. The second time the food came out cold. There is always a long wait but if it doesnt get better i'm sure this will change. I am glad to have all the new restaurants in Woodbridge but they need to get it together.

This location is horrible. Service sucks. Took forever for my food and it was cold. I love the Fairfax location. Never coming here again.

This particular pf changs is horrible. This was my second experience. My plate had crusted food on it and my sake glass was sticky. Our service was slow as molasses. We waited on our appetizers for half an hour and our food for an hour. Lettuce wraps tasted like the chicken was left over from two days ago. Dan Dan noodles were soggy and over cooked, not to mention cold and flavorless. I sat with an empty water glass for half an hour. After we boxed our own food, our server said "oh, you boxed your own food? Oh that's ok." We've been waiting on our check for twenty minutes now and the restaurant isn't busy at all. Next time I will just order delivery chinese fast food.

We waited a long time before we were seated, smaller parties who came after us were seated before us. The service was great once we were seated but we were seated right in front of the restrooms so traffic around our table was uncomfortably busy. I like the Fairfax location better.

Singapore street noodles were phenomenal. A huge serving for one. I took half of it home with me. Our server was the most polite ever. She was so patient with such a huge party, many checks, etc. This location literally looks like a ballroom. I almost forgot I was NOT at a wedding. I want to rent this space -- ha!

I really liked the high brow drinks here. I got one that had a fruity Asian flavor and other that was like a LI iced tea but in martini form. The dumpling soup was great, as was my entree, which was the sea bass. I misremembered the veggies that should have come with my fish, and when I mentioned the discrepancy to the server she brought me over whatever I wanted. We ended with the chocolate cake dome, which was very rich.

I have been going to wegmans across the street for a year now waiting for PF changs to open finally for my birthday we came and it was not a let down. We had 5 people we ordered appetizers, a couple of different entrees, and some different sides one of the sides the snap peas with their special salt OMG amazing. I was very impressed. I literally cannot wait to come back and eat and enjoy the atomsphere!!!

Sorry P.F. Chang's like everyone else I was excited to see P.F. Chang open in Woodbridge however, the excitement faded fast once I visited the restaurant once. They are extremely slow and just seem to not know what they are doing, to be fair I understand this is a new business so it will take some time to get everyone trained and on board. However, I was hoping to have a nice restaurant to have happy hour in Woodbridge but they end happy hour at 6:00....so disappointing I guess I will stay in DC!!!!

Really wanted to like this place more. We had a Saturday night reservation and were seated promptly, but our party of six was squeezed into a four-top. I would have asked to be seated elsewhere, but it looked like that was standard practice, and I didn't see any true six-top tables. Service was slow, but the restaurant was very busy. I sampled all the dishes at our table and they were pretty good, but my Singapore street noodles were so salty they were inedible. I wasn't going to complain, but the manager came by to check on us. To his credit, he took the noodles off the bill and upgraded our mini-size birthday dessert to a free full-size dessert. I'm sure I'll give them another chance, but not anytime soon.

I love PF Chang's! I highly recommend the Mongolian beef and hot and sour soup! Our server Mikey was excellent and on point with everything. He was also super sweet and very knowledgeable about the menu and was quick with recommendations. Our appetizer (the crab wontons-so good) came out pretty quickly and the rest of our food was perfectly timed. As soon as I finished my hot and sour soup our entrees came out. My friend got the pad thai (which is apparently back by popular demand) and loved it too! I would recommend going for lunch as opposed to dinner because there is usually a wait for dinner but we had no problem getting sat for lunch. All in all i would definitely go back again.

The wait time to be seated wasn't bad. The waiter was fabulous and warned us the kitchen was backed up so that was okay, especially since he brought the kids' food out early and our appetizer and soups kept us busy. Everything tasted great! The ONLY reason this restaurant lost a star is because when I was in the restroom, which was dirty, I saw an employee walk out without washing her hands. She was a hostess. She seated us and I warned my girls not to tough their menus and to used hand sanitizer. How disgusting. Not PF Chang material. Make your employees wash their hands, please. We notice...

This location is still relatively new, but the service and food are good. I recommend the chicken lettuce wraps, pork pot stickers, hot & sour soup, double pan fried noodles, Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, and banana spring rolls for dessert. Awesome food and overall good experience.

Our family of 6 went here on a Saturday for lunch. There was hardly any people there and the service was extremely slow. We frequent the one in Richmond and it is by far superior. None of our food tasted like the Richmond location. Well, except the lettuce wraps. those were delicious. All of the kids said they wouldn't want to come back to this location. My husband and I agree.

The wait at PF Changs is always ridiculous.... To the point where I don't really even think it is worth it anymore. I'd rather just buy some Simply Thai and make it a home... but my husband loves this place so we go. The food is good don't get me wrong, it's just the wait to sit and the wait for your food is just a bit frustrating. We ate at the bar once in the summer and that was nice. They open up the patio so you can dine on both sides. We just had some beers and apps and that worked out great. The waiting is really the worst part...

    (3)
  • Dolores G.

The only reason I'm giving this two stars is for the food. The wait time was 35 minutes not bad considering its new. The time to get food after being seated an hour plus. Any managers around didn't see one, no apologies no nothing. I won't be back.

I went to PF Chang's yesterday for the first time, and I will definitely NOT be going back. We were seated immediately since we arrived right when they opened. That was the only thing that went right. There were only two couples in the restaurant when we began dining (ourselves and one other). We were served their side salads (I ordered soup). A few minutes later we were also served their Ahi Tuna appetizer. Just a bit after the appetizer fiasco, another waiter came out with two entrees and began putting them in front of us. I advised him that they were not ours since we did not order chicken. He put down the chicken entrees in front of us anyway and walked away. Luckily, right behind him was our actual server, and immediately she picked up the chicken and placed on the table of the correct couple right behind us..... After it was already served to us. (We were told after it has been placed on the table "We can enjoy it". House rules.) Finally, an hour and twenty minutes after we ordered, we received our correct meals. The food was fine, but nothing spectacular. The shenanigans we went through were off the charts, and by the time we left (two hours after arriving....) there was a huge congregation at the door and a long wait. At 1 in the afternoon. No thanks!!!!

  • Sara A.

As a manager of a restaurant I understand the kinks to opening a new restaurant but my visit was borderline unacceptable. The wait time was quoted as 30 minutes which was on point but it took almost 30 minutes for us to receive our two appetizers and one was something we had not ordered. The manager was walking around but did not stop by any tables much less ours to apologize for the wait for our apps. Nor did anyone stop by our table to prebus any of our plates. Or check on us to see how our meal was, if that had been the case we would have sent the incorrect app back but since no one did and we were starving we ate the app (which was good). Overall, the service was very friendly but inconsistent and slow, the food took too long and management was present but ineffective. I will try this restaurant again in a few months in hopes that time will help it improve.

We decided to check out PF Changs and made reservations for 4:00pm. We were 15 minutes late so we had to wait an extra 30 minutes for a table (which was totally ok). We were seated and we immediately greeted by our server. He recommended the lettuce wraps and the Pad Thai. My husband ordered the hot and sour soup. The lettuce wraps were fantastic! My husbands soup and my Pad Thai arrived an hour after our appetizer ....which was way too long. My husband's soup was too thick, I think they forgot to add chicken broth or water, our server took it back(which we didn't want a replacement) we were so tired from our wait that we just wanted to leave. Our check was not adjusted due to the bad soup or the delay....I will return again in December to give them another chance....please Lord let them improve!!!!

Just terrible. I Waited for a table at 2:00 pm for over a hour. OK it's a new place I will give it a break. Now we ordered our food now that took over an hour to get and it was just OK. (We could have got better food at a crappy Chinese buffet). No manager to be seen. No apologies. I even tried contacting PF Chang's headquarters and no responds at all. If you want good service and awesome Chinese food go some where else.

We showed up mid-afternoon on a Saturday for a late lunch. It was really crowded and the three staff working to seat everyone seemed to be a bit disorganized. We were told there was a 30-minute wait, but stood by for almost 50 minutes, then spoke up when we saw parties coming in after us get seated. The food was a bit slow coming out, but wasn't bad. The lettuce wrap appetizer seemed to be the family favorite. Overall, I don't think the food was worth the wait. The staff seemed inexperienced and unable to handle the rush. Probably won't be going back.

Call PF Chang's for a to go order. Big PF Changs fan so I was real excited to order some food since the dinning room is packed. As of 6:57 PM, they will no longer be taking to go orders. My entire family was excited to finally experience PF Changs, don't want to wait over an hour to wait for a table. The best part, the guy on the phone answered said "we're not taking to go" and that's it. No apology, no explanation. Just straight up attitude. Just basically "you're out of luck." Get it together PF Chang's Woodbridge. Not what I've come to expect from the PF Chang's brand

The only good experience was the online reservation system worked perfectly. Then it was downhill slowly...very slowly. Total time to order, get food, eat, and leave was almost 2 hrs. It took them an hour, AN HOUR, to get our food to the table. With that kind of anticipation one expects perfect food. I ordered the Pork Mu Shu, which was decent while my husband got the Dan Dan noodles. His had little flavor and no spice. He asked for additional chili sauce, but again, it took ages to get the table. I will never go back to a place that makes you wait that long for your food.

I had seen P.F. Changs in the grocery stores for years and heard about the restaurants, but never bothered to try one out until recently when this one opened. We loved it. Everything we got was great. Different league than the local Chinese takeout places. Looking forward to going back again.

I put this at 1 star because there's no option for zero or negative stars. We just returned from your new location "Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center," and to say the least, it was without a doubt the WORST Asian food we have ever tasted. My date had orange beef, and it was so tough as to be almost inedible. I had the double fried noodle combo, and it was just a giant gloppy mess, and there wasn't ANYTHING crispy about the noodles, also there were shrimp in it, 3 to be exact. The food took almost an hour to arrive, and when it did, the texture would lead one to believe that it had been through a microwave (perhaps because someone forgot us?). Also, seasoning was absent from our food. The server was absent minded, didn't check up on us, and couldn't be found most of the time. Double for the management. I guess from the experience we had, and the complaints around us, he was hiding. Finally, we did use the online reservation system because there are 1-2 hour waits (I expect your crummy service/food will rectify this soon). Our reward for planning ahead? Asking for a reservation? We had a fabulous table RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TOILET! All the while, a nice booth sat unused almost for the entire time we were there. I've had better food and service from Panda Express, they should take notes from them, because they won't be in Woodbridge long. I drove 100+ miles to take my date there. She lives in the area, but I came up for a special night that they managed to RUIN. Thanks for nothing.

Sat in the bar section and the servers their were prompt and attentive. Food was decent and the drinks were cold. I didn't deal with them, but I could tell the hostess had an attitude and was not capable of doing her job.

So I met a friend there for 5pm dinner. How about the restaurant was nearly empty, but there still was 5 separate parties waiting to be seated. The manager (i assumed because he was wearing a different shirt than the other staff) was negatively responeding to atleast two parties who were inquiring about 'whats the wait about'. Apparently it's very necessary to make a reservation for this place. NO THANKS. The server was nice and friendly and help, so we tipped her well. The food was also good. Somehow I'm thinking that even with a reservation, there is gonna be a wait, so I'm gonna 'miss' pfc for a while.....

Went here today to celebrate my brothers promotion. Food took about half an hour to arrive. We had to send back a dish because it was too salty. Apparently this wasn't the only incident that had quality issues. They did however replaced the dish and rushed the order. Food was good overall, but I've seen better service at other PF Changs. Their biggest opportunity is overall service speed and quality

I have to give credit where credit is due...we have been to this restaurant numerous times, and each time except for the first was absolutely terrible. Very slow service and horrible food!!! I mean horrible. My family decided last minute this past weekend to give it another go, WOW, what a complete turn around. There was a 30-35 minute wait, we were seated at exactly 35 minutes. Our waitress, Janelle, was fantastic. Food and drinks came out extremely fast and the food was delicious!! We honestly were stunned. My only worry is that because of all of the negative feedback, PF Changs may have stepped in to help, but hopefully that's not it and this restaurant is finally where it should be. We will definitely be back!!

Disappointing lettuce wraps, they tasted like they had just been soaked in soy sauce alone. The ones in fairfax are better. The Kung pow shrimp sauce was also over powered with too much soy sauce and salt. However the seasame chicken was good, and our waitress was very friendly.

Atmosphere is like a decorated warehouse. Wait staff is great, but the experience was ruined by the substandard food compared to the one in Tyson's. Be prepared to wait a loooong time for your table. In fact, you could drive to the Tyson's location, eat, and be back in the time it takes to sit and order here.

I recently tried PF Chang's for the first time and was very disappointed. I have always heard such great things about the restaurant and how great the food is. The food isn't that great and was kind of bland for Chinese food not to mention way overpriced for the quality of food. I have had far better food at the local Chinese restaurants and they will deliver and the prices are a lot more reasonable. I would compare PF Chang's to Pizza Hut or Dominos because I think it is just a chain restaurant with subpar food and you will likely have better luck with a local restaurant with better food.

    (2)

Should take-out food at a well known chain restaurant take 35 minutes? No. It was also cold and soggy like it had been sitting for quite some time. Will pass on coming back here..

The most terrible PF Changs has been opened!! I have enjoyed PF Changs in other location but this one is by far the worse. The rice served to us was raw and grainy (2 different types of rice that we ordered). The waiter took long to check up on our table - we had to pull other waiters for some drinks. When I told the waiter about our raw rice - he did not apologize but said he will ask. He came back and offered some lo-mein because he claims that the rice will take a long time to cook. When the bill came, they have credited us BUT the waiter did not mention anything about it. In addition, the gentleman who was walking around, who appears to be the restaurant manager, did not come to our table at all to see how we were doing or what the problem was. Behind us was also a party of 4 who was complaining about something - again, the manager did not attend to the issues going on at his restaurant. We were celebrating my father's birthday that day and our dinner was definitely ruined. No thanks to PF Changs Woodbridge, who does not value customer service enough to care. I will definitely not go back to this location -- and for awhile, not planning to go back to any PF Changs just to remind me of the horrible experience. Get some rice cookers!! Food was not good & they are overpriced and too small of a portion.

I decided to go here for my birthday on the 2nd. I was told that it would be an hour and 15 minute wait. I stopped at the host stand at an hour and a half to be rudely told oh no you have at least an hour more. I asked how much further down the line we were just to see if we were near the top. After the princess at the host stand decided he would get rude I turned in my number to the gentleman and we went somewhere else. Judging by their emptiness it is safe to say they aren't any better still. Don't waste your time on this location go to the tysons corner one. They are much better. I got the typical response from corporate with a couple of gift certificates. I usually don't go that far with my complaints, I deleted them and have not been back since. Shame pf changs used to be one of my favorite restaurants. :(.

People need to understand that this place JUST OPENED. Our waitress was very courteous and was constantly apologizing for what she thought were long waits. Our soup and appetizer came out quickly then, to our surprise, a table nearby walked out because it was supposedly taking too long. So, we got their entrees for free! It took a little while longer for our actually entrees to arrive but it still would have been okay without the freebies. We look forward to this place improving even more as the new wears off.

Thrilled to see PF Changs arrive here, with its' beautiful decor and exciting menu. HOWEVER, we went last night and dined from the Prix Fixe menu ($40 for 2 + upcharges) and were exceptionally disappointed in the food. Service was good, food was not. The banquette I was seated at made me feel (at 5'6") like I was sitting in a hole. I had to switch seats (he had a chair) with my husband, who's 6'3". For almost $60, for two people, including tip (no drinks other than tap water) I would have expected more all around: better taste, better quality, better plating. We had a cup of egg drop soup each, which was good, but is hardly culinarily challenging to make, then one dish of the Chang's Ribs to share, (the ribs are an upcharge of $1.95) which were coated in a cloyingly sweet sticky sauce. The ribs were served with no way to really handle them - we picked them up with our hands, and had no napkins, wipes, etc. with which to clean our hands. Lucky me had napkins from coffee earlier in my bag, which we were forced to dip into our water glasses to wipe our fingers with. (Knives are not provided in the flatware setups, by the way - an omission we found odd, and if we'd had them it would have made handling the ribs easier - we could have cut them away from the bone and eaten them with a fork.) My husband had "Crispy Honey Chicken" which was not crispy at all, nondescript in flavor and was woefully dry - as in, there was NO sauce to add to the rice along with the chicken. I could have made better at home. I ordered the Salt and Pepper Prawns, which were not prawns at all, but 12 large regular shrimp, also at an upcharge of $1.95. They were served with a small bowl of "sauce" that tasted like honey mustard viniagrette salad dressing with a little wasabi in it, which overwhelmed the delicate flavor of the shrimp and completely unseasoned brown rice. The brown rice we both had was undercooked and stuck all over the bowls we were served, including all over the outside of it. It was unavoidable getting dirty assembling one's dinner (not great for a date!!!). Thank God we had tap water that was included without another upcharge - they like their upcharges - to get down our dry-as-the-Sahara dinners. The "dessert minis" were so small - literally two bites - I told my husband if I were the server, I'd be ashamed to bring that to the table. We left not full, with no leftovers. For $60 from our local takeout, we could eat for 3 days. We will not be back. Save your money, and support your local takeout. Then you can go shop at one of the fabulous stores surrounding PF Changs with your savings.

The food is great. Been here twice and had poor service both times. It took 10 minutes for the server to greet us, big party and small. Food takes forever. First time, it was two of us and the server was rude and did not want to serve us. Second time, in the party, the server seemed afraid to serve us and was not around much and did not ever ask if we needed anything. Got everything from the bus boys both times.

  • Yumi W.

My reservation was 8pm got seated 15 min later that was expected but worst and slowest service I have experienced. From time I walked in to time we walked out took 2 hours and 20 minutes. when you are spending $70 for two people you think you can get better service. Mahimahi was good but took 1 hour to come out. Chocolate cake was not as good as used to be. Food is only reason I am giving them 2 star. SERVICE IS ZERO STAR. Where was Manager ? Manager should be walking around checking your poor operation and talking customer is their job. This is where bad service start. I will drive to Tyson's for better service!

I only am even giving it a 2 because its new, but it was that horrible that it should be a one. I've been waiting since the rumors started of the wb pf changs coming. My boyfriend and I went on the 6th (yesterday) to go see how wonderful my fab restraunt had turned out. First, we went in a nd waited in line for a buzzer. The couple before us was told 1 1/2 hrs. Understandable since there was plenty of people waiting. They tell us only 45 min. ?what? So we wait.... Almost an hr and a half then get seated. Our server didn't even bring our water for the first 15-20 min. Then we order wine. That didn't even come til we had our app 30-45 into us being seated. We already had the appetizer by then which was the lettuce wraps... and they didnt have the sauce to put on them, until most of the way thru the entree course. The egg drop soup (my favorite) tasted like tap water with eggs in it. The hot and sour tasted like they dumped soy sauce and nothing else. (Is it supposed to have soy sauce?) the entrees come and surprisingly were perfect thank goodness. Our whole time waiting and eating took about 3 1/2 hrs. The server wasn't all that great. And the building is terribly small. Over all the experience wasn't great. To top it off I just called to get take out and the girl just laughed at me and said nope there isn't any. Not off to a wonderful start.

Stop. If you have reservations but not 45 min to an hour and a half to wait for your entree or 20 min for a drink leave now and go to Anything But Your Average Joes across the street. Even though PF Changs has great food and service in many locations, this location consistently manages less than mediocre service for food which dies in the window fifteen minutes before it reaches the table. The only comfort at this restaurant is seeing all other tables sharing the same experience of dissatisfaction no matter which server they are assigned. Perhaps the only reason the restaurant stays busy is because it is new, people come in and see there is a long wait (that is due to mismanaged seating in which there are only booths accommodating a capacity of six) and they get drunk at the bar waiting hours to get a table. By the time they get the table, they are so drunk that they can't comprehend time or taste the food. I give this location one star which - frankly - is more than what is deserved.

The restaurant has had time to settle and the workers seem to be more comfortable with their jobs. Apparently people don't care about Yelp reviews in our area because Changs is ALWAYS packed. My wife, daughter and I went the other day to sit on the patio (They have a sweet patio with walk up bar and couches). The weather was great and the patio was in the perfect position to receive that later afternoon sun. Lettuce wraps? Always amazing! We also tried the Vietnamese shrimp. It was almost better than the lettuce wraps! The cilantro and carrots really made the dish stand out. I ordered a Sazerac (very old cocktail any bartender should know) and the bartender didnt know how to make it. He asked how to spell it which should initiative but i dont want to be the guinea pig for his first attempt. Instead I ordered an old fashioned - safe, always good, hard to screw up. I dont know how they did it but they figured out a way to screw up my old fashioned. It was sweet and a little on the fizzy side. Very strange indeed. We still really like it here and plan on coming back. Everyone need to give Changs another try.

My husband & I have been here a few times. Normally the place is empty but it seemed we went on a busier night. Food was good. Server was nice but it took forever. It was busy but I mean.... They were going at snail pace. I think it took 1/2 hour just to get our soup. Another 20 for dumplings. 1/2 more for entree. We were there for a little over 2 hours. Like I said good... But if I would've known it would have taken so long I probably just would've held off til another time.

After three different visits, I am totally underwelmed. Service was so bad and slow the second time, the manager gave us $20 in gift cards. Service the third time was even worse, over an 1hr 45min to get our meal and check. Then the waitress had the audacity to tell us the gift cards weren't appicable to our entree choices (which isn't mentioned on either the cards or the menu.) This restaurant is a plastic shell - looks nice, food is decent, but it has no soul. The wait staff is emotionless and indifferent. While waiting 45 minutes for our entree, we saw the waitress once. Even then she barely slowed to hear our responses. There are too many other places with great food and better service to put myself through this wannbe-chic franchise.

I just don't see what all the fuss is about. PF Chang's is ALWAYS packed. And not just this location, but every location I've been to has a maddening wait. And for what? Decent but soulless Chinese/Asian food that isn't any better, yet certainly more expensive, than your local Chinese restaurant. My wife and I stopped in here at around 4PM on a Sunday a couple of weeks ago and they were PACKED. We were told the wait would be about an hour, but that we could sit at the bar, which provides full meal service. My wife has always wanted to go to PF Chang's and every time the wait is insane, so she wanted to take advantage of our good fortune and grab the two seats at the bar. It took a minute to get the spot clean, but the bartender was polite and extremely efficient for being so busy, and provided great service throughout. We started with drinks and appetizers. The wife got the ginger beer, which she felt was too strong. It's just a matter of preference though, I thought it was really good. But I like REAL beer, and they have a small but nice selection of microbrews in bottles and on tap. They offered four beers on tap - Sam Adams Seasonal, Kirin, Port City Optimal Wit, and Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA. Optimal Wit was my choice. And of course, we got the obligatory PF Chang's staple - the lettuce roll appetizers. These were wonderful and the wife REALLY liked them. Unfortunately, we didn't fare as well with the entrees. I wanted the Chengdu Spiced Lamb, but they were out of lamb, so I went with the crab fried rice. It was good, but the amount of crab was scant, and I could not taste the sriracha that was supposed to be in it at all. The wife fared worse with her chicken double pan-fried noodles. The sauce was WAY too salty. My wife is very salt sensitive, and she could not finish the meal, and did not want to eat the leftovers. I am not as sensitive to salt, but agreed that it was too salty, but was still edible for my tastes. (But definitely not something I would order again) Still hungry, the wife got one of their small desserts - the chocolate peanut butter crunch - and we both agreed that it was excellent. The food was hit or miss, the atmosphere was crowded and loud, and the prices are a little higher than your local Chinese restaurant. I just don't know why anyone would come to PF Chang's instead. At least they had a good beer on tap.

Nothing to brag about. Big name, big horse and mediocre food. Main course passable, rice the staple of the Oriental table looks and tastes like instant or boil in the bag. Service barely passable. It took me almost a year to come back. Bad luck or consistently poor food quality? I truly don't know. I may return next year, or maybe not. Regardless , the company was great.

At P.F. chang's in Woodbridge. Food is take out Chinese on fancy place for a premium. Service sucks. Waiter keeps forgetting to put our order in because he is much more interested in the conversation at the table next to us. The sweet n sour sauce tastes like it comes out of a can. Won't come here again!!

Our waitress was never with us, but all the other staff were wonderful, they were constantly checking with us and got us everything we needed in a timely manner. The food was wonderful the flavors were very authentic almost like being in Asia . I honestly don't understand where all of these negative reviews are coming from. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a good experience with Asian food.

Horrible! Every aspect of this place was terrible. Spare yourself the disappointment. Food cold, had to go to the bar to get my drink after ordering it twice from my server. Quality of food-terrible!

PF Chang's as a whole is one of my favorite chains. However, the Woodbridge location serves nothing but terrible food. The egg drop soup uses about 3x as many green onions as other locations and their lettuce wrap meat is dry. This is unanimous among my family and friends. Other locations (such as fairfax) are worth the drive for food that isn't terrible.

Their food is great but their reservation system spoiled the whole evening out. My wife & I had reservations for 7:30 pm. We arrived at 7:25 and were told the wait would about 15 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes, we were told the wait would be another 15-20 minutes. We finally gave up & went to another restaurant. The excuses they gave for the delay were right out of a politician's handbook.

I wen to P.F. Chang's for the first time. My family of 3 had to wait about 15 minutes and there where plenty of seats, when we did get seated they took us to a table where a child was there prior. The high chair was still there with food on it and food on the floor. So I complained and they took us back to wait again and then brought us back to the same table, but it was clean at that time. The food is like American Chinese food, not the traditional that you get at a real Chinese restaurant. The food to me was not great. My family was really disappointed in the food.

I went to PF Changs in a different location years ago and I thought it was delicious. I stopped at this PF Changs for an early lunch recently and was completely disappointed. They had just opened for the day and there were no other customers at the time. The staff were very nice and friendly. I ordered the lunch portion of the crispy honey shrimp and it came quickly. I was surprised at how small the portion was considering it was still $11. It is definitely not big enough to split. It also was not good. The shrimp were soggy - not crispy whatsoever. There was a lot of sauce and it was super sour and overwhelming. The steamed rice and salad were decent - but not enough to make up for an $11 soggy, sour shrimp dish. Not impressed. I think I'll stick to my local Chinese delivery place which is WAY better and cheaper!

Never knew what this place was but now that we have gone several times i really like it a lot. The ribs both styles are very good, and the chicken and rice is different enough to be excellent.

The food was really good, but to be truthful I'd rather order take-out from one of the many Chinease food joints in the area.

I dined at this P.F Change last Saturday the 17th of May for lunch. The place seems small and somewhat different from other P.F. Changs I've dined at but nice. It was empty when I got there around 2:30 PM so I decided to sit at the bar tops. Our server Angela was helpful as I did not remember the name of the dish I used to get as it had been a long time since I last went to that restaurant in Arlington. My sister and I placed our orders and the food prep was a little on the slow side but Angela was nice enough to make up for it with a plate of ribs on her for the delay. Shortly thereafter our food arrived. It seems as if slow preparation time is common at this restaurant from what I see in other reviews but I think they are taking action and trying to fix it by our servers gesture. The food we okay, not as good as I remember though. Maybe they were short staffed because it was so slow who knows. Overall, good service and customer appreciation but food was somewhat bland from what I remember.

Seriously cooks - just wait a little longer to get the crispy dishes crispy! Not the best chang I've been to by far. Service is mediocre and food is one beat off consistently.

The restaurant is located within the Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center, a cute little shopping center that has recently opened with places I would like to visit. My husband and I went on a Wednesday around 6:30pm. This is are 2nd time coming to PF Chang's. We were seated right away. We ordered, but it took 30 minutes for us to receive our food. It wasn't super busy so we were a bit upset about how long it took. However, the food was delicious. We had the following: SESAME CHICKEN - not spicy at all, but still good CRISPY HONEY SHRIMP - delicious!! They have mini desserts - red velvet cake, key lime cake, and some others. We ordered the salty caramel cake. It was fab. Service was good. Ambiance was good. Seating is a little cramped however. But we'll come back.

Not the best Pf Changs I've been to but for Woodbridge, they're definitely above average! I had the Beef La Szechuan, per usual, that crunchy texture always leaves me coming back for more... Mmm..

Consistency! They do not have it. I have eaten at PF Changs in VA and TX, and sadly this one has some issues with getting things right all the time. The staff is pretty good, and the place seems very clean. I will go back but I always wonder if it will be as good as it can be.....

My family and I went during lunch on a weekday. So it wasn't busy or packed as other Yelpers noted. So note to self: go on a weekday during lunch. We all ordered an array of potstickers, crab fried rice, beef and veggies, and general tso's chicken. I am pleased that that the food was light and not doused in soy sauce and oil as other "Chinese" food places tend to do. Everything look very organic and fresh, whereas for most Chinese places in Woodbridge have the "I've been sitting on the stove, waiting for you to order me" look. Although, it was an expensive lunch ($70) including tip for four people (including one child!). Each dish ordered is not family sharable from what I know of looking at the menu (I may be wrong!). A lot of restaurants are doing family style dinners, so hopefully they will follow suit. So those are my two downsides which caused them to lose a star. But otherwise I would go again, only on a special occasion and it has to be on a weekday.

I absolutely LOVE PF Chang's, when I say LOVE I seriously mean it. It's a favorite restaurant for both my husband and I, BUT this location really stinks. It saddens me to say it but its true. Don't get me wrong, the food is absolutely PHENOMENAL, I always start with the lettuce wraps (YUM) and hot and sour soup (MUST HAVE!) then follow with the Mongolian beef (TO DIE FOR) The service and wait time is what really drives me nuts. 60-90 minute wait, seriously? Like, come on, you're joking, right?? I even have the app on my iPhone to book ahead and I STILL have to wait. The place is super small compared to every other location I've been too. Decor is very chic and the out door eating area is super cute, but the wait time is ridiculous every time I go and they've been open for a good three months now. Still love my PF Chang's though...

I cannot believe how bad this P.F. Chang's location is. Every part of experience was bad! We came in and asked for a table. We were a party of 5 and told them that when they asked. The girl took us to a take clearly made for a party of 4. When we pointed this out to her, she just stared at us blankly and said, "Well, this is where the host told me to seat you." We said, "How about this table right here.", pointing to a 6-top right next to the 4-top. She repeated, "Well, this (pointing to the 4-top) is the one the host said I should put you at." Amused at her stupidity, I replied, "Well, where will you be seating my son since he clearly will not fit at this 4-top?" Some smoke came out of her ears as her brain finally engaged and she said it was ok that we sat at the larger table. We then sat there for 20 minutes before the waitress came to take our order. My son and I decided to do the 2-can-dine for $40. You get 1 app, 2 soups, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert. We ordered the lettuce wraps for our appetizer. We got our soups fairly quickly and they were OK. (The only positive in the whole experience.) After another long wait in which we completely finished our drinks, all the food came at once. I asked the waitress to go ahead and take the lettuce wraps back and remove it from my bill... Then we tried the food. EVERYTHING was cold. All 5 orders. The portions were very small, especially considering the price. We ended up having to call the manager over who seemed to dismiss it all to it being a new staff in a new location. This experience was so bad, I don't know that I will ever go back.

Ok, Woodbridge is getting all fancy with a brand new modernly decorated PF Changs. It was a busy lunch on a weekend. We sat at the bar. I noticed the staff running around but it seemed without a purpose. Nobody greeted us for about 10 min. The bar is small. Finally female bartender asked about drinks. The bar was dirty, so I asked her to wipe it. We ordered our favorite Hot & Sour soup, Kung Pao scallops and Orange chicken. It was a lunch special which was supposed to come with soup and salad. We got none. Our Hot & Sour soup order arrived after the meal, again, I had to ask the girl. The scallops were sooo overdone and sooo salty, it was inedible. The soup came almost black in color, I thought something wasn't right. We tasted it, and again, it felt burnt and oversalty. They took both items off the check but I've never seen the bad side of PF Changs having dined at Fairfax location for years.

Went to this restaurant shortly after it opened. The people were terrific, the food was great, as I find in all Changs I go to. It took a long while to get the food, however. But, being newly opened, I expected that, so it was not a big deal. BUT! Upon a visit over a month after opening, the food STILL took way too long to be served. I don't know why this would be so long after opening. I will be back, but probably in the Spring of 2013. Perhaps by THEN the problems will have been resolved. One more critique: The music is way too loud, it should be more of a background and less of a hip-hop environment, at least as music volume is concerned.

Dinner was wonderful and the gluten free menu provides lots of choices. The service was not the greatest, but I believe our particular waitress was having an off day. I would recommend the Kung Pao Chicken. We will definitely go back again.

This place is brand new and THEY SUCK. Sorry, but it's a fact. I've been going to the PF Chang's in Fairfax for years and I can't wait for the Woodbridge store to be able to match their food quality and service. It took a long time to be seated, even though the restaurant wasn't that crowded. It was chaos from the time we were seated to the time we left. Service was slow. We ordered drinks (water/soda) and their 2 for $40 special, which includes soup, appetizer, entrees and dessert. The kid delivering the soup to our table got confused and walked around with our soups for almost 10 minutes before he realized where to go. (I actually saw this happen at least 5 times - food going to the wrong table or being carried around in circles by confused staff... I think they haven't mastered their table numbering system yet.) By then our hot and sour soup was lukewarm (and, strangely, very tomatoey in flavor). Our drinks finally arrived at the same time our appetizer came. It took a long time for our entrees to come to the table and my friend's Mongolian beef was charred on the outside. Also, we were each given a bowl of rice with our meals and, although the bowls were the same size, my bowl easily had DOUBLE the amount of rice than was in his bowl. This isn't a big deal because we can share rice or ask for more, but this inconsisency further highlighted their lack of quality control in the kitchen... Oh, yeah, I should mention the rice was not cooked properly (too sticky, too wet). I felt bad for my friend because this was his first PF Chang's experience and it wasn't a good one. :( Anyway, dessert was so-so (the little mini-dessert was more icing than cake) and the bill came. The 2 for $40 special had been keyed wrong so our bill was closer to $60 and we had to wait for that to be fixed. I absolutely WILL be back to this restaurant, but not any time soon. I want to wait until they fix the kinks, to include better trained staff. I am positive the service and food will greatly improve over time and I look forward to updating my review when it happens.

Woodbridge recently opened a town center which includes a P.F. Chang's chinese restaurant. The decor of this restaurant is modern with floor to ceiling windows and there is a bar with a large communal table nearby to use while waiting for your table. This is a high energy environment complete with rock music and the service is on point. The servers are knowledeable of the menu and are personable and friendly. The managers walk the dining room and ask how everything is. You couldn't ask for more in terms of a caring staff. There is almost always a wait on weekends so plan accordingly. Food is fresh and warm and they keep bringing you drink refills and extra rice without the need to ask. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good chinese meal in an upscale environment. Some of my favorite dishes include: fried wontons, dumplings, lettuce wraps, crispy honey shrimp, and the chicken and beef lo mein, wall of china chocolate cake. This restaurant also offers a glutten free menu for those who may be interested.

I've only been here once and it was a couple months ago not long after they had opened. The restaurant is relatively smaller than their other locations and our wait on a Saturday night was over an hour. All I can say is that the service was horrible. The waiter was fine, but apparently the kitchen was backed up. Two tables around us just got up and left. Our appetizers came out fairly quick, but it was about an hour before our entree came out. I can't judge the food because I was so annoyed and HUNGRY.

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a P.F. Changs. We sat at the table 20 minutes before she ever came and took our drink order. I would normally excuse this if the restaurant was busy, but it wasn't. It was 8:30 on a Sunday night. She came to the table beside us twice before even acknowledging us. When she finally did come, she did not apologize or explain, just "thanked us for being patient". We were not brought our waters until the third request, they were never refilled once we had them. We were brought the wrong drinks from the bar. We ordered a Coconut Lemon Sour and somehow ended up with a nonalcoholic coconut milk mixture. However, It was replaced after the second complaint. My friend ordered the egg drop soup and it was not brought until a few moment before the meal came, even though my salad was brought out long before. We would have asked for it earlier, but the server was no where to be found. For the main course, we both ordered the combo Pad Thai. For some reason, one had crushed peanuts and one had whole peanuts. It was not requested this way. When I asked for the crushed peanuts, they were not brought out until the end of my meal after the third request. Additionally, the tofu pieces were entirely too large and overpowered the dish. We spent 5 minutes each trying to pick them out. It was if they were multiplying, I don't think we ever found them all. The only reason why I am giving this restaurant 2 stars is because the chicken lettuce wraps were amazing and the spicy green beans were perfect. The drinks, when corrected, were also mixed well and tasty. The ambiance is also quite classy. They did a great job designing this location. I would recommend any other PF Changes, as I normally love the food and service, however this service was inexcusable.

So, I really like this place. We went here yesterday night for my hubby's birthday. It was pretty entertaining because all of the workers were in costume. One of the hostesses was the Sun Drop Girl. Gave me a the giggles. But we came in around 6:30, and were told it would be a 30 minute wait. No biggie, we got time. There was a lot of seating, so we were forced to stand awkwardly by the fire alarm. Oh well. But then this group of three came in, and were told it would only be about 15 minutes. Huh? AND they were seated before us! Not cool, P.F.Chang's. Fast forward to being sat. So Sun Drop girl seats us, and we wait for our server. And wait. And wait. Finally a very nice Hispanic-sounding girl shows up. Super friendly, super nice. We had decided to do the 2 for $40, and ordered all at the same time. Hubby got the Hot and Sour soup, and I tasted some, it was delish. I had the Egg Drop soup, also scrumptious. Then we got the lettuce wraps (I mean, how can you NOT get the lettuce wraps?!) Freaking amazing. Huge portions and very yummy. Unfortunately they only gave us two lettuce wraps! But our server came back with more without us even asking! So our food comes, Hubs got some shrimp thing, and I got the beef with broccoli. Both huge portions and awesome. The beef to broccoli ratio was perfect, not too much broccoli, not too much beef. Excellent. Unfortunately again, Hubby wouldn't let me tell them it was birthday, (I love embarrassing him on his birthday at restaurants) but we still got dessert. We decided to get the Wall of Chocolate. And boy, is it a wall! Friggin' huge! but amazingly delicious! Will def be coming back!

We went on October 2nd as well. We knew there would be a long wait since we didn't make reservations. The people at the front were very nice contrary to what someone else commented. It was 5:30pm when we arrived and the wait was going to be at least an hour. We were given the option of sitting and waiting or sitting at the bar and getting faster service. All said and done, we probably would have spent an equal amount of time waiting no matter what we chose. We opted for the bar area which consists of the bar itself and two long tables that seated 10 people each. It had a bit of a communal feel since you sat with other people. Our table ended up with a total of 7 people. We waited about 10 minutes until someone came by to take our order. Our waitress mentioned it being the grand opening and that there would be a wait. We received our drinks and put in our appetizer order. About 20-30 minutes later, we finally received our food. The crispy green beans came highly recommended and were delicious! The salt and pepper calamari was also perfect. Quite frankly I was full just from those two dishes since both were rather large. Thankfully, we had plenty of time to digest the appetizers and make some room since it was another 30 minutes before we received our entrees. I had the Mandarin Chicken which was delicious! The chicken was extremely tender and the sauce was so good. My husband ordered the Wok Seared Beef. The beef was really good but there was quite a bit of mushrooms. Perhaps too much as I think they outnumbered the beef considerably. After roughly another 20 minutes, we received our dessert. Love the banana spring rolls. Unfortunately, we were given spoons used for dishing out the servings for your meal and were far too large to use as a proper eating utensil. All said and done, the food was great and I give them a lot of slack for the waiting time since it was their grand opening. They didn't seem to have everything running smoothly but hopefully this will be corrected as time goes on. The decor was quite surprising by the way. It doesn't look the least bit like any other P.F. Changs! It's very open and light.. Very nice! I'll submit another review after they've had a chance to settle a bit.

Lettuce wraps and the crispy honey chicken are may fave dishes at PF Chang's. At this location though I had to deduct a couple of stars for the following: Minus 1 star: Soggy honey chicken. I know my crispy honey chicken and although it tasted the same, it was soggy =( Minus 1 star: Waiting. I made reservations for a the evening in the early afternoon. At least 3 hours prior to when I was asking for a table. When my party arrived the table was not ready for 45 min after the requested time. Note, this PF Chang's is almost always packed anytime I pass by on the weekends which is why I made reservations. Waiting past 15 mins I understand, 30 mins is pushing it, anything more than that I wish the host would have updated me as a courtesy. Luckily it worked out because a few people got there later and did not have to wait as long but just wish the host would have said it would be a while that's all. GOOD NOTES: Lettuce wraps were fab. Try the strawberry cucumber limeade - YUM! I had a ginger drink mixed with vodka - YUMMIER! Servers are courteous, attentive and have a great attitude. The server for the night I went with a big party was very patient, she checked on us often and was really awesome. Another server I had the last time I brought a larger party (10 ppl) again had a great attitude, was very patient, was hilarious and told us about the PF Chang's reward card. Overall pretty good place to dine if you don't mind waiting for a table.

Slow service. Check. Small portions and high prices. Check. Special order not made correctly. Check. People say that other P. F. Chang's are better but because this is my first time I don't know if I'll ever try a different one.

I have never been to a P.F. Changs before tonight. I tend to stay away from large national chains, but I wanted to give it a try. I sat at the bar and experienced good service. I ordered the Changs Chicken and it was okay. I think I would have had better asian cuisine from the Wegmans buffet though. I drank sweet tea, but the beer taps indicated a small but diverse craft beer selection with two Virginia breweries featured.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
