This place is really adorable. We stayed here in order to attend our friends' wedding at the Inn at Little Washington. Fairlea is a functioning farm w/ cows, sheep, and donkeys. The grounds are beautiful and vast. The rooms here are nice and well-decorated. Even though there is vintage charm, the bathrooms have been recently re-done and are super modern. We even had a 4-showerhead shower! The rooms had a lot of nice little touches and decorations and included lots of books for perusing. Breakfast here was also fabulous. We had all sorts of baked goods, juice, coffee, and baked french toast. Sue and Walt (who own the B&B) were more than happy to accommodate vegetarians. They were also very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed here in March '14. This is such a wonderful place! I actually proposed to my gf (now my wife of course) instead of at the Inn at Little Washington. It was such a lovely warm place, it felt like the better place to ask. Walt and Susan were excellent host and were so kind and very welcoming. She made these scrumptious cookies. Best of all, because we were the only ones in the whole house, they let us stay in the suite. They even let us take a tour and check out all the other rooms and provided logs for our fireplace. It was also the coolest experience checking out their entertainment room full of vintage toys. Beware, you'll be smacked in the face with nostalgia. Breakfast was wonderful and the whole experience was awesome! Well worth it. I'll be back for a mini vacation. Plus, its a very dear place to my wife and me. :)

Simply great experience. My wife and I have stayed at many B&Bs over the years and this was one of our best experiences. Sue is a great host, breakfast was awesome and rooms very homey. We had dinner at the Inn and it was a very nice walk on a cold winter night. The topper was meeting and feeding Christopher Robin and Roscoe, the donkeys in residence - great fun! We will definitely be back.

Amazing breakfast ( and I'm a foodie) , great bathrooms and owner even let us feed her donkeys. Walking distance to inn at little Washington. Loved it all around.
