Great buffet on Wednesday! Good down home cooking. A lot of locals eat here every day! Breakfast is my personal favorite. I've eaten here a few times and never disappointed. Service is always great. Don't let the simple furnishings fool you, the fresh food will bring you back!
Cool little place that looks like one of those eclectic seafood shops you'd find at the beach. This place has the best shrimp and crab cakes that taste like you bought them seaside. What a surprise to find in this area. Their cocktail sauce is great too. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. U can buy your shrimp steamed and spiced or raw.
The place is a little dark and dingy but the food is delicious. Went twice while on business nearby. Good service. Definitely better than any chain.
The pizza is very good! By far the best pizza within 15 miles. The pizza can look a little messy, but tasty nonetheless.
In such a rural area, locals don't have many options for good pizza. You may not expect it, and you can disagree, but this place located in a strip mall in Timberville (population 2,500) is the best within 30 minutes of my house. Usually, I feel pretty gross after eating pizza from a local "italian" place, but never here. I'm not sure what the difference is! I can say that the dough is never too soggy (other local joints take note) and the vegetables taste fresher than other establishments around here. I also loved the liberal (very liberal) use of garlic on my white pizza. Staff is polite, decor is nothing to shout about, and the prices are very fair. There seems to be a good amount of consistent business here, especially on weekends, so I can't be the only one who tastes it.
HAD A CRAVING- Was craving some country ham biscuits the other morning while travelling the valley, so I stopped in this Hardee's(remembered they had country ham biscuits). Anyway, Hardee's restaurants in general look dated as this one does, but this one was very clean in and out. The staff was nice and courteous. Restroom were very clean. Plus breakfast served til 11am(it was 10:45am when I popped in). Anyway, they had a biscuit special, 2 Country Ham biscuits for $3. BOOYAH! Added a large black coffee....best $5 I spent that day. The biscuits were hot, the ham was tasty and solid coffee. For me it was just right.
