Yum!!! I enjoyed this place! To start off the cute calm neighborhood before you walk in is adorbs! The parking was not a problem most likely because I came here earlier in the day but I can see it becoming a problem during busier times.... The food was good! The crab dip was yummy I'd highly recommend. The crab cakes were good...but not great...the steak tips that my bff got; however were very tasty and perfectly cooked. The salad bar in the bathtub was good! They had this curry chicken salad that was pretty good on the salad bar.... I'd return and try other things on the menu and the salad bar!!!! Nom nomnom...

A family friend introduced us to Strawberry Street when she moved to Richmond back when I was a kid. It quickly became a favorite, and we would stop here whenever we traveled to or through town. Unfortunately there has been a change in ownership and the new owners seem intent on making "improvements." The menu items sound really enticing, and the friendly servers will tell you everything you ask about is good, but time and time again we have been disappointed by the quality of the food. We keep coming in for nostalgia's sake (the beautiful chalkboard drawings and the old bathtub still exist), but lately I've taken to just ordering the salad bar, as the menu items consistently disappoint. Besides the food downgrades, the ambiance was taken down a notch, in my opinion, by the change in the front entrance. The old wooden door with the quirky revolving peephole is gone, replace by cold hard modern glass. One thing from the original Strawberry Street that was screaming for change was the men's restroom. It had a truck stop or gas station filthiness about it. I can report that it has received an overhaul and now seems clean, but in an apparent homage to the original, the sink has one of those faucets that you have to hold down a button to operate, rather than the more modern and sanitary motion-activated kind. I'll keep throwing money at the place, and hoping the owners wise-up and take it in a better direction. Otherwise, I don't see it being open for much longer.

Love the location and the atmosphere. The area is characteristic of a small town. Menu selection is not bad. Diverse food options. My partner and I ended up getting the salad and soup option. She switched up the soup option for the white cheddar mac and cheese, but it tasted similar to the Kraft mac and cheese. I had a cup of the crab soup, which I loved, but it came out only warm (almost as if it had been microwaved). The salad bar was good, and made the dinner worthwhile. Service was somewhat slow. I'd go back, but would try some of the entree options.

Small, local restaurant, that is tucked away on a side street. Hard to get a place to park. Very diverse menu. My meal was excellent. Wait staff was attentive. Storefront was clean. Very enjoyable. Recommended.

Perhaps the best chicken pot pie I have ever had. Great Mac & cheese too. My wife had their crab cakes, and raved about them. No fillers. Street parking only, but worth the travel and parking hassle. Pleasant server (Sarah) with a solid grasp of the menu.

I was recently in Richmond on a girl trip with my ladies. We found this adorable cafe on Yelp and decided to make a day of it. To our surprise, we discovered thousands of historical Victorian homes in the area. Around 6,000 + to be exact (learned that in the history tour). We ended up getting lost on the way to Strawberry. Thankfully we did, it was a sight to see. When we finally arrived it was super packed. I mean, it's clearly popular place on the weekend. We got a chance to overlook the menu while we waited. That was only around 20 minutes. This place is pretty big and they seem to have really great service. We were so lucky to snag a killer booth by the oversized window for people watching. That truly made our experience there more memorable. The food was great. We had omelets. We did not get the buffet b/c we were a little pressed for time. However, it did look pretty damn good. We were sad to cut our brunch short, but the overall experience was stellar. Total thumbs up.

I would like to just say that this place was very much hyped up to me by RVA locals, but I do not believe it met my expectations. So take this with a grain of salt. First of all, the service was alright. My waitress was really sweet but was not attentive and there was not much business there. Secondly, the food was really good, but not much different than other local food options in Richmond. I got a turkey sandwich with the sweet potato and smoked Gouda grits. The grits were definitely creative, but still nothing to make me want to go back. The atmosphere was cool though. There was a lot of cool local artwork on the walls.

awesome place. We have been here 3 x. Food is fantastic, flavorful brunch bar, alcoholic drinks made to perfection (Boody Mary, Bellini, Mimosa), service is cheerful and warm, prices are reasonable, ambience is the bomb

Came for Sunday brunch, like I used to when I lived in Richmond years ago. Not much has changed from what I remembered of it. The big bathtub in the middle with the food in it, what seemed to me to be a somewhat small amount of true breakfast items for 11am. But all the food was great tasting and the atmosphere was fabulous. I really enjoyed the sausage gravy.

Is the food here phenomenal? No. Is it solid? Sure. Is it a Fan institution? Definitely. Did my parents get engaged here and so I have an irrational fondness for it despite having had patchy service and food there? Maaaaaaybe....

Great place and we went here Saturday May 9th to celebrate Mother's Day. Quaint little place, nice atmosphere, buffet was good, especially the mushrooms (exquisite flavor), the noodles, shrimp salad, gravy and biscuits (best gravy in a long time). One in our party ordered the quiche and crab cakes. The quiche was excellent but I did not care for the flavor on the crab cakes. The waitress was good. We went without reservations and got right in. There was a strawberry Festival going on down the street but we were able to find parking behind the restaurant.

I want to give this place another star or two, but it never really grabs me. It's never the first place I choose to go, but it never really disappoints either. Most of the food there is actually very good, with the occasional dud (that super bowl burger special ripped my insides to shreds). The restaurant is located on...wait for it.... Strawberry Street in the fan. It's a great location but parking can sometimes be a pain in the ass. I've always been there for lunch and dinner but I've heard the breakfast/brunch is quite good. Those people could totally be lying so who knows. Eggs are hard to screw up. I really enjoy their cream of crab soup. Their sandwiches are solid but not astounding. The crab cakes are solid, but some other restaurants in Richmond do them better for a dollar or two more. Other than the soup I can't think of one thing that they excel at. They do have some really nice chalk artwork they commission people to do every month or so. The stained glass around the interior is pretty. Strawberry street has never let me down. I don't have strong opinions about it one way or the other. It is the beige of restaurants in Richmond. The moody blues of food. Would I recommend it? Yes. Why? I don't really know.

Went here for RVA Sandwich week for the Hanover tomato and bacon fatty melt. (Although this sandwich was a special for Sandwich Week, it is basically the grilled cheese with bacon and thick slices of Hanover tomato - yum!) The sandwich was delicious and our service was great! We tried a few different sides: cole slaw, mashed potatoes and onion rings. The cole slaw was especially good. A great place to try in Richmond!

This is such a cute little restaurant, tucked into an even cuter street in The Fan. We went to Strawberry Street Cafe early on a Friday evening for dinner, and were seated right away. Immediately, I was eyeing up the salad bar! It really does live up to the hype -- lots of ingredients/toppings to choose, and everything is really fresh. You can also grab whatever soup they have in stock for the evening. I was in the middle of training for the Richmond Marathon, and wanted to splurge on some pasta. I ordered the pasta jambalaya (from their menu: sautéed andouille sausage, red peppers, garlic and Ziti pasta in a classic Alfredo sauce, topped with slices of blackened chicken breast. Served with garlic bread). Although it tasted good, I was a bit underwhelmed with the quantity of chicken/sausage included in the meal. I also could have used some more veggies in the dish (though, I guess that's what the salad bar is for!). While good, it probably isn't something I would get again. Great little spot for date night, that's for sure...

Late evening craving at the bathtub salad bar for me and my friend led us to the Strawberry Street Cafe. I've been coming here on and off for years! The bathtub salad bar is all you really need but we also ordered the French Dip and a Blackened Chicken wrap. I'd rather order too much food, than not enough. Service was personable and timely. We were satisfied with the food and the fact that the salad bar was full, even toward the end of the service day. Yes I'll be back. Love the vibe here and I know that bar has stories! Be patient with parking on the street! Neighborhood can sometimes be busy.

This is one of our safe go to restaurants. Strawberry Street Cafe always pleases and is consistent in service, presentation and overall experience. The beautiful Clawfoot Tub Salad bar is always well stocked, clean and delicious. I personally love the curry chicken salad that is always offered. The menu is versatile in sandwiches and entrees, we discovered Monday night is $5.00 Burger and Quiche night. Brunch is offered on the weekends and the craft beer selection is great! If you have room for dessert, I recommend the chocolate chip pound cake with ice cream. This can be shared!! We have never had to wait for a table, food is quick. This is a nice Fan restaurant on Strawberry Street.

Took the family from out of town to Strawberry Street for brunch. We had a large group, and made an 11:100am reservation and were promptly accommodated at a nice long table when we arrived. I like the atmosphere and the bathtub breakfast buffet was a cute idea and added to the overall charm and vintage vibe of the restaurant. I always enjoy morning cocktails when I brunch and I was excited for the pitchers of mimosas, but a bit disappointed that the pitchers are filled with ice and you pour the mimosas into pints instead of wine glasses like I would have hoped. It just doesn't feel as sexy drinking a mimosa from a pint, over loaded with ice and sub par orange juice with no evidence of bubbles. With that aside, I just focused on the food. I was tempted by the bathtub buffet, but thought I would just order an omelette instead and all my guests that did order the omelettes were not disappointed. They were a good size, nicely filled with the proper goodies, and served with a choice of side and a sweet muffin. The cheddar grits were delicious and turned my yankee family into fans of the southern comfort food. Service was smooth, speedy and split checks were not a problem. Overall, I'm a fan and will return to this cute spot, but I wish they would step up the mimosa and bloody mary game a bit.

I am not that much of a picky eater but I did not enjoy the food here at all. I had the crab meat quiche and it was not good and the mashed potatoes were cold. My friend has the fish tacos which were not impressive either. I would not give this place another chance.

I heard that they had a brunch buffet, so we decided to check it out today. The buffet area was smaller than I expected it to be, but they cram a lot of good stuff on there. All the fruit and salad options were fresh, crisp, beautifully displayed and perfectly delicious. Stand-out items included perfectly cooked bacon, cheese grits, and fluffy biscuits. I love sausage gravy, but theirs was not traditional and no bueno. The mimosas were delicious too. I ordered fried green tomatoes with honey and goat cheese as an app, and I did not enjoy those at all. I like all those things separately, but together it did not work for me. The restaurant has lots of seating and we didn't have to wait, so I will definitely put this on my list as a place to return to.

Honestly, I was expecting better considering the rave reviews I've heard about their brunch buffet. I got a spinach, mushroom, and feta omelet. The spinach was previously frozen and the mushrooms were canned. I can make a better omelet than this at home. The two stars are for the attentive service and decent coffee. If you like smiles and *meh* food, Strawberry Street Cafe is the place for you.

My husband & I came here for valentines day and we were very impressed. It's a great spot for tasty eats, cozy surroundings, great service & the famous bathtub salad bar. We both got the crab cakes as our entree and it was excellent, made up of mostly limb crab that was expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The salad bar had a nice array of sides and salads that were all very tasty. We would definitely come back!

Went here for Saturday afternoon brunch. We had to park pretty far from the restaurant , but it was no big deal. The place was packed and there was a wait so we sat at the bar. It was a nice bar, has hooks for your purse and coats. They had a brunch buffet going on that looked yummy but we ordered off the menu. I had the Fried Green Tomato Eggs Benedict. It was delicious. Kind of hard to cut & keep together, ask for a steak knife. My boyfriend had the goat cheese and spinach omelet. We both thought it was good, but next time order with ham added. The beer selection is pretty good there as well. My boyfriend had the Choosy Mother Peanut Butter Porter. I had a Bloody Mary made extra spicy. They put a lot of horseradish in it and I thought it was awesome. Are server/bartender was great. She was always quick to get us anything we needed. This is a great little place to eat.

This place was recommended to me by long-time Richmonders. The salad bar in the tub was a quirky novelty and the atmosphere was great. My son, who is a picky eater, was impressed with his sandwich. My meal, on the other hand, was not impressive. It was a hamburger that was ordered medium but came out well done. My parents had the soup and salad and had no complaints. If service had been quicker, I would have rated this cafe a "4". As it was, we had to get up twice to track down our waitress. I will likely return at least one more time to give it a second chance.

I'm visiting with my husband (who is a Richmond native) and his mother insisted on taking us here. The neighborhood and decor was charming and the bathtub buffet was pricy, but cute and offered lots of options. Here's my super awesome hack that I still can't believe actually works: you can get the buffet for $11.50 OR you can add it on to any app, sandwich, or entree for $5.50. The cheapest app was the hushpuppies (very yummy, btw), for $5, then add on the buffet for $5.50 for a total of $10.50, which actually makes it a dollar cheaper to get it with hushpuppies than without! Boom. My husband branched out and tried the veggie burger, which he wasn't crazy about. The waitress was very nice and took it off the check immediately and offered to bring him something else. A+ for service. Overall, pretty standard food but apparently it's a Richmond classic (it was on Jeopardy? Really?) so that made it feel more special. I'm not dying to go back but I'm glad I can say I went there.

My friends and I needed to catch up and what better place to do it than in a place we've never been to before. Walk inside and it's a nice homey feel. Maybe it's the clear support for VCU that you can find everywhere from the walls to the special menu when it comes to game day or the discount you get when you wear some VCU swag? Another focal point of the place is the bathtub buffet. My boyfriend had his eyes on it from the get go, so I knew he would order it. He definitely got his money's worth and then some. He was quite full by the time we left. I ended up with the french toast and bacon - a satisfying meal, but nothing for me to say beyond that. I think I would need to try something else to get the personality of the place in the food.

The crab meat and Swiss quiche with a side of sautéed zucchini was hands down one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Throw in a pitcher or two of they're generous mimosas and no doubt will you have a new favorite brunch spot. I've been there several times since and have always left feeling as if they went above and beyond. Great service and even better food!

  • Gia S.

Always a good experience here! Crab quiche, sweet potato and gouda grits, and a homemade blueberry muffin... enough food for breakfast/brunch for two days! The taste and food quality is consistent and that is what I truly find value in!

After reading mixed reviews on the crab cakes, I was a bit hesitant to order them. Other reviewers who said they were dry are 100% correct. So dry, that they crumbled like cornbread with my fork. I didn't enjoy them and wouldn't recommend them. The side dish of potatoes appears larger than the actual crab cakes, and the side of broccoli was undercooked. My wife had the French Dip and it was okay. She asked for horseradish and was told they do have it, as they use it in their Bloody Mary's. It was old and discolored and had no kick to it. Horseradish when fresh should be white, not yellow or brown. Just like any other perishable item, you just can't keep the bottle forever and think it won't go bad. Horseradish goes bad quick and you need to rotate it. The bathrooms could use a little renovation. Why there is an extra wooden chair next to the toilet in the men's room, I have no idea. Weird. The mirror behind the bar needs CLEANED. You can tell it hasn't been done in a very long time. The bartender was nice, and the beers are priced a bit high when it's not happy hour. We had dinner here to see how it was, prior to coming back with a large group of 12, in April, for my wife's birthday. Although we'll be back to try some other menu items, The novelty of a salad bar in a bathtub isn't enough to wait in line for. This is a 'Cafe', so I guess some expectations need to be checked at the door.

I went here last week for lunch. I had the salad bar and the crab dip appetizer. It was delicious. The salad bar was fresh and the crab dip was tasty. The atmosphere was quiet but crowded for it being afternoon. I will go again.

Strawberry Street is one of the most charming streets in The Fan with a small stretch of shops and Strawberry Street Cafe is definitely "the signature" establishment that's well-associated with Strawberry Street. Service is very friendly, atmosphere is casual and local, and the food is not unique but it's what I like to call "solid, comfort food" = you know what you want and it tastes exactly the same way every time you eat it. We all really enjoyed the vegetarian bean burger, blackened chicken wrap, the crab cake sandwich (healthy portion of crab meat with good seasonings); the "bathtub bar" is a great item for SSC which serves as a salad/soup bar and a brunch bar on the weekends. AND they have great happy hour deals from 4pm-7pm and a fairly extensive drink menu; what more could you ask from a local restaurant?!

Always a solid great choice. Menu has a great variety, prices are reasonable and service is wonderful. Definitely be prepared for wait for a table on weekend evenings but worth it. Salad bar is awesome and has something for everyone.

cute quaint neighborhood hangout! Hubby and I stopped in on a Sunday after church service for brunch.. we were seated immediately.. the wait staff were very pleasant and friendly. We both had the breakfast /salad bar/everything else!! it was nicely put together for $11 bucks all you can eat.. its was well worth it! You can also order off the menu if you liked. The strawberries were huge AKA Ginormous!!.For real, for real!!! Only issue was the parking in that area.. had to walk 2 blocks , but well worth the walk! Will be back

I used to frequent this place about 18-20 years ago and this was my first trip back. I was very excited but it wasn't as great as I remembered. Here is the low down: Atmosphere: 5 stars - very comfortable, not fancy but not super casual, great place for a date. Food: 3.5 stars - The food was good but not great, definitely way above a TGIFridays or Appleby's but nothing to get super excited about Service: 3 stars - nothing super fantastic but it was good Price: 2.5 stars - the prices are a bit high for what you get. Overall this was a 3 star experience for me. I will definitely go back but it is no longer a "top of the list" stop.

The menu lacks inspiration. We go often Bc it's in the neighborhood and we enjoy the soups and salad available on the salad bar. Happy hour prices seem decent, even though I've never been. My only complaint is the number of employees eating/drinking at the bar during peak dining hours. Make room for customers paying full price for their food/alcohol! We shouldn't have to sit on top of each other if some of those extra seats were available. Employees at the bar also provide distraction to the bartender.

I woke up to a call about being a last-minute replacement for brunch, and thirty minutes later I was headed to Strawberry Street Cafe (henceforth called "SSC"). SSC is located in a really quaint part of the Fan, near an elementary school and lots of cool little shops and homes. It was a gorgeous day outside today, so there were lots of people walking around the streets. SSC is a pretty spacious restaurant! The stained glass, hanging plants, wooden beams and booths, green ceiling tiles, and several blackboards really stood out to me. There were two chalkboards depicting advertisements for the Elvis and Mummy exhibits at VMFA; my friends and I couldn't definitively determine whether the ads were actually drawn out of chalk (because they were very detailed). There are some lamp/lantern-like lights along some walls too. Overall, SSC is a very cozy place, and is a great brunch destination, especially with all of the natural lighting. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and while there were plenty of patrons and chatter, it never felt noisy. As for the food, I was tempted to order either the quiche or belgian waffle, but there are plenty of really great items on the menu. Ultimately, I had to go with the bathtub brunch buffet, which was so unique I just HAD to try it! Basically, in the middle of the restaurant near the entrance is a stand with salads, fresh fruit, and a warm food station of eggs, biscuits, sausage, bacon, gravy, cheddar grits, rosemary potatoes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and turnovers. The awesome part is that the salad bar part is literally laid out on top of a bathtub! The price of $11.50 for unlimited trips, given the medium-range variety, was okay. The food wasn't the tastiest I've ever had, but it wasn't bad at all, and it was really fun serving myself from a bathtub! =) You also have the option of adding the bathtub brunch to any entree for $5.50. We had a really friendly server named Timothy who tried his best serving our large group of nine. He was kind enough to split the bill evenly and give us nine separate checks too! He was a bit on the quieter side, but he was a decent waiter and I liked that he smiled a lot (one of the people in the group also pointed out that he had a very prominent dimple, which I suppose is true!). Come have a pleasant dining experience at SSC! The dessert tray looked appetizing but I was too full on this trip. I'm sure the regular lunch and dinner service here is great too, and there seem to be specials on certain weeknights as well as an "Express Lunch" option for $7.

I had heard so many good things about this café that I was looking forward to a stellar meal here. Service was standard and the atmosphere was nice. However, I have to admit I was a little disappointed with the food. It was pretty pricey for hum-drum fare. The "bathtub buffet" idea is pretty cute, but there aren't that many options... although I suppose you can't fit that much food into a bathtub. The bench seat by the window was actually very uncomfortable - I recommend asking for a table.

We were in the neighborhood and looking for a new spot that we haven't tried. Today's winner was Strawberry Street Cafe. First a few shout outs to Nancy L, Lauren B. and Tony H. (had me go in with tempered expectations). We started with the white bean humus with warmed pita as an appetizer. For our main meals I got the cheddar and broccoli quiche and the salad bar. My wife ordered the crab quiche with sweet potato fries and mac & cheese. The white bean humus was good. I had only two knocks (one of which was actually major): 1) They don't give you much in terms of pita and cucumber to eat all of the humus. So you have to be a pain and ask for more. 2) My major complaint is that the humus was part of the salad bar and our waiter didn't warn us or tell us that (I ordered the salad bar). So I could of gotten this for free instead of paying $6! My quiche (cheddar and broccoli) was good. With each bite you can clearly taste the cheddar cheese. I also love how it had a cheesy crust on the top of the quiche (not everyone likes this). The broccoli was cooked to the point where it still had a bite. I love that! So you knew each time you were biting into broccoli (too many times this is overcooked and become broccoli mush). My wife's meal not so much! I would avoid their crab quiche and man & cheese. The sweet potato fries were good but will not be for everyone. They are topped with cinnamon and sugar. So that requires that you like it to enjoy the fries otherwise, you will not like it. The salad bar was the top part of the meal. It had two options of greens: spinach or mixed greens (both were very healthy in color and amount!). They had several key toppings (including my favorite Tahini and grape tomatoes!). I will come back and I will most likely only do the Salad Bar (This place would have been a 2.5 - but we dont have that so I rounded up)! I did notice that all the regulars just ordered the Salad Bar. So I recommend you do the same.

2 stars for the atmosphere and the decent French onion soup. Do not order eggs Benedict unless you're a really huge fan of fried eggs covered in hollandaise. Would not recommend.

This place is great. The service is good, the food is good, and I like the overall appeal. They have really good specials depending on the day. I have had multiple selections off the menu and have never been disappointed. Even though I'm completely full after I eat my entree, I sometimes will ask the waiter/waitress to see the dessert tray. The desserts are very very very good.

Went there for restaurant week tonight and the portions were huge (compared to other restaurant week places) and DELICIOUS! I've been before during non-restaurant week, and I've always been a fan. The salad bar is great, probably my favorite thing about the whole place.

Been twice on "date night" (Wednesdays) and for happy hour. Pretty solid food by all in my party. Strawberry shortcake was disappointing because of the cake. Everyone else enjoyed their dessert. Good happy hour with cheap drinks. Good for all sorts of people, families. Will split checks.

Strawberry Street Cafe is my neighborhood go-to spot when meeting up with friends for a casual dinner. Pretty sure I've eaten here more times than any other restaurant in Richmond (which is a big deal, considering that I eat out quite often!), so I figured I was long overdue to actually write a review. As a vegetarian in a city that promotes/embraces weekly burger specials like no other, I have always appreciated the fact that Strawberry St. offers a vegetarian-friendly "burger night" every Monday, which includes your choice of their delicious quiche, tasty black bean burger, or regular burger, plus a side for only $5! You really can't beat that! Plus the quiche portions are large and I always end up taking some home. (Spanakopita is my all-time fave, but the Broccoli & Cheddar is also fantastic, as well as the seasonal Hanover Tomato Pie, yum!) The menu is very reasonably priced and there are plenty of options that make it an appealing dining spot for the health conscious and the comfort food lovers alike. The famous Bathtub Salad Bar tends to be popular among those looking for a light, fresh meal, but it offers plenty of options that can easily fill a bigger appetite, as well. If you're craving some hearty comfort food, they definitely have you covered! Diners rave about the chicken pot pie, the white cheddar mac & cheese, and the spinach lasagna (one of my faves). The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting...I've had many long gab sessions with friends over dinner here, and the wait staff has never tried to rush us out. Rather, they continue to remain attentive, keeping our beverage glasses/coffee cups filled while we chat away. Take it from a regular, Strawberry Street is a charming Fan favorite and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

One of the first restaurant I tried after moving to Richmond and I have kept coming back. The servers are cool and the food is great. I haven't had anything I wouldn't order again, but in my opinion the best thing by far is their pasta jambalaya. It's amazing!!

Love this place!!! Great for everyone and the food is excellent. Bathtub Salad bar is unbelievable - Make sure you try the Chicken Pot Pie - it's to die for and the Desserts are huge! Looks small but it's filling - definitely 1 of our favorite RVA spots!

I've been going to Strawberry St. for years! The food is delicious and the ambiance is great. I'm a big fan of the crab & artichoke dip, chicken pot pie, and the quiches. However, my favorite is the pasta jambalaya... it is scrumptious. It's a great spot for date night, too!

Yeah so aside from the hype about eating out of a bathtub, the salad bar is actually not the most exciting thing about this restaurant, in my opinion. Frankly, claw foot bathtubs aren't that big, and so the size of the salad bar isn't anything to be impressed with. I've had brunch here several times and after the first time I ordered off the regular menu instead of going for the salad bar. The second time I ordered the Eggs ala Norfolk (a benedict with crabcakes) and it was pretty darn good. Nice balance of flavors, decent portion sizes. They have creamy grits as a side option, and that makes me happy because I love a good serving of grits- and these were creamy and cheesy and if not explicitly homemade, then at least doctored up... Their french dip is also good (Can't beat that it comes on a croissant)... piled with meat and served with a really tasty but not super salty au jus. Aside from the food, I love that they have burger specials on Monday nights, and they have a 20% student discount night for anyone with a college id. Makes it easy to rationalize an extra night of restaurant eating when we patronize a local business with some good specials. One word of warning- parking during peak hours can be a beast. Be prepared to parallel park... there are a few random spots behind the restaurant I think, and then everyone else has to fight for parking in the neighborhood.

After hearing people at my internship rant and rave about this place and their bathtub salad bar, I decided to give it a try for brunch one Saturday morning. We walked in and were immediately seated. I chose to go to the brunch/salad bar. The brunch bar was just ok, some of it was borderline disgusting. It is a makeshift buffet with pans under heat lamps on tables. The bacon was decent and eggs were okay. The gravy was not good, it had no taste. The worst part of the meal was the pastries. I tried a muffin first. It was cold, hard, and tasteless. The only thing that had some taste were the bitter blueberries inside of the muffin. They either need to switch the mix they are using or switch the recipe. I wanted to try a cinnamon roll to try to compensate for the lackluster muffin, but I noticed there was hair stuck to the sticky glaze on the tongs and hair also in the glaze on some of the cinnamon rolls. Pretty sure this hair probably came from people visiting the buffet, either way this shows you the buffet is not being monitored or maintained unless something runs out. I did see some cinnamon rolls to the side and chose one of those (free of hair) and used the bacon tongs to get it. Again, tasteless and nothing special. They would be better off using Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito and it came within 3 mins. of him ordering. The beans accompanying the burrito looked disgusting. Not sure how it tasted and I was afraid to ask. We will not be going back to Strawberry St. for a long time and it will take some convincing. Our money can be spent on better brunch elsewhere and yours can too.

The decor and food are great! The staff are friendly and take great care of you. Highly recommended is the adult hot chocolate. It's so yummy an perfect for the cooler temps!

The GPS is never wrong - thought we'd tricked it when it led us deep into a residential area, supposedly towards Strawberry St. Cafe. So we were charmed to find this neighborhood type place, yet a little worried since it was completely empty. Surprising art nouveau stained glass saved the interior from a Wagon Wheel diner vibe. I wasn't particularly seduced by the idea of eating salad from a bathtub, but the freshness and fully stockedness late at night was impressive. Good variety of side salads which were not overpowered by soaking in their own juices for however long. HG appreciated that the marinated mushrooms weren't too tart as is usually the case. I didn't care for the chicken noodle soup, but the French onion was fine. DC gives the chicken pot pie good marks for thick and creaminess, crust, and meatiness. Her mac & cheese was tasty - not any different than Kraft, I thought. Very good strawberry lemonade. We were full, but I couldn't resist the creme brulee which was on the less-sweet side with a very satisfying caramelized top - the dark chocolate on the strawberry and cookie straw was outstanding. The stale/dry pound cake ruined the Himalaya of strawberry shortcake (see photo). The dessert pricing was inconsistent with the rest of the menu. I love how welcoming this place is - absolutely no hint of hurrying us out so they could break down the salad bar (they had to hand scoop the ice from the bathtub... should put in a real drain!). If only I weren't so tired from shopping for DC's East Coast winter wardrobe (what has this economy done to my shopping stamina?!), I would have alerted the waitress as soon as we had finished. I suspect they do breakfast better than dinner, and may come back for the pancakes.

I actually stumbled across this place by chance- as I had won a gift card in a contest. I was very impressed with the crabcake dinner. It was quite amazing. The large bathtub salad bar was quite impressive- though I did not parktake in anything. Those that were with me said it was very fresh and delicious. A bit more on the expensive side -dinner wise- for two, at $40, I was glad to have the gift card in hand. Parking is a bit iffy on some days but it is a great place to eat in RVA. Great for out of town guests as well.

I've been to Strawberry Street a bunch of times and it's always good. I'm pretty sure it's my favorite place to bring my mom when she comes in from out of town because she loves the vibe and thinks it's cute, haha But, the food is solid and their bathtub brunch buffet is pretty awesome. Last time I had quiche and it was great. This time we had the bathtub and it did not disappoint. Love this local favorite :)

"Charming" describes the neighborhood and the decor in this restaurant in the Fan District. Clean casual place. Staff made us feel welcome. The bathtub buffet is a big draw for them, but we decided to order off the menu, which has a good variety, including lots of sides. The Reuben was pretty good. The Sweet Potato and Smoked Gouda Grits sounded interesting but were disappointing and lacking in flavor. Overall, though, it was a good experience and we'll be back.

Great service. Ate there with 7 family members. Everyone had something different. No one had any complaints. I had beef tips, they were awesome! The salad bar looked really good as well. Nice ambience. Would definitely go back. Great traditional place in Richmond Virginia.

Being from out of town, my friend took is here. Great brunch buffet and the display is in an old bathtub. I had the crabcake burger and it was great. Service was slow but I think they were unexpectedly busy. The only thing wrong was that my friend ordered a medium well burger and it came out medium rare. She was starving and was the only one of us not to have added the buffet to her meal. They should of let her keep her side or giving her something while she was waiting. They did take care of it on the bill but only after we asked them to. Just a little more sympathy on behalf of the waitress would have been nice. But they had a great meal.

In my opinion this is an average restaurant, average prices, average everything. I think most people like it more than I do. I haven't been back in awhile. Other places to eat. I'll give another 1/2 pt, it's still there and doing well. My opinion after a number of visits.

BEST CRABCAKE IN RICHMOND! A Richmond staple...the cafe has been around forever, and very little has changed. Their bathtub salad bar is legendary, and still does not disappoint. Fresh fruit (including strawberries of course!), authentic ethnic salads like taboulli, and at least two homemade soups that are worthy of the regular menu...but I am here to talk about the crabcakes....yes, I've had them in Baltimore and other areas that pride themselves on their recipes, but I LOVE the crabcakes that they have here. Flaky and meaty, either as their own entree, or on an english muffin, these are as good as it gets. and don't waste the trip to Phillips in Baltimore if you want a good one. They offer deals weeknights on burgers, quiche and other items. A great neighborhood place in a great neighborhood, Richmond's Fan District. When something works, you stick with it....stick with Strawberry Street.

OK. Wife and I interested in healthy dinner on 1 day trip to Richmond VA. Richmond downtown area is old and, shall I say, lived in. Strawberry fits right in and so did we having spent lots of time in Santa Cruz California. It's that kind of place in an old building. (our hotel was built in 1847!) She enjoyed a steaks-tip and I ordered crab cakes with two sides-mac/cheese and broccoli. It was all great. We were famished and left happy. The crab was perfect (I like the patty-shaped style better) but the part that mattered - the crab - was excellent. We both had sides of broccoli and that was perfect, fresh, al dente. I had cake and ice cream and you should try it. All in all we were very happy with strawberry. We felt at home and we loved the bathtub. We enjoyed a discount keyed in with the present "Secrets of the Mummy" special exhibit at the VMFA.

Pros: Italian night on Sundays. Salad and huge entree for about $10. Hands down the best thing you can get here. Tomato bisque Salad bar - overhyped but still diverse and imaginative Cool art nouveau-meets-saloon interior Cons: Terrible parking situation Overrated Overpriced Come once for the salad bar, come back on Sundays for the Italian special.

The salad bar is outstanding but I was disapointed in the chicken and dumpling special. It just didn't taste good to me but a couple of others in my party liked it. My wife had crab cakes and they were amazing, among the best I've had. The macaroni and cheese was dry and very bland, none of us liked them. My brother really enjoyed his fish and chips. It seems the menu items are hit and miss, some are outstanding and some are not. As I said previous, the salad bar was incredible with lots of fresh items. I was very impressed with all the delicious fresh fruits and the spinach and clam soup was delicious as well.

Best breakfast food i have had in a long time. Bloody marys, fried green tomatoes, the tomatoe basil omlet, cheesy gritz and coblar! very delicious. I am from Philadelphia, and I can honestly say- that was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. :)

The brunch bar was only so so on my first visit here but the convenient location, amiable service, and appealing menu items made me return. Since I have had a delicious eggs florentine as well as some incredible edamame (I think...) hummus and on trip an over priced but delicious (and surprisingly strong!) cocktail. I believe it was called the center stage? Anyway, great service and decent food but only four stars as the brunch buffet did not live up to its hype!

Strawberry Street Cafe is a very decent restaurant, but it is no longer in its heyday and doesn't stand up to the slew of hyper-competitive and awesome restaurants that keep popping up in Richmond. It has a very good beer selection and there is the bathtub salad bar... but... The burger I got was meh. And if a basic thing like a burger is executed in a manner that was unsatisfying, I wouldn't trust their nicer things. The salad bar was okay. I do love getting a large scoop of their chicken salad but the spring greens were wilted and slimy. Totally off-putting. If I was not with any friends, I would have marched off. It's one of those places that you need to go at least once in Richmond even if the whole affair is disappointing. Just ignore the hype and enjoy the ambiance. Then go to one of the new restaurants opening up across town.

I have to say, Strawberry Street Cafe is a bit of a tradition for out of town family members. They serve solid, if unspectacular, food, but what keeps us coming back is the calm atmosphere and Sunday breakfast buffet served in a bathtub. For the younger, hipper, visitors we'd tend to try for Millie's or somewhere that's a bit edgier and requires some patience to get a seat. Strawberry Street is plain and simple good food and a nice quiet atmosphere. Rarely have a problem getting a seat for a party of 6 or less, and never have issues maintaining a conversation with the others at our table. Good food, good friends, pretty space, pretty happy!

Okay, so I have dreams about that salad bar. They have this edamame hummus that I just love love love. It's $9 for just the soup and salad bar, which is pricey, but to me it's worth it, because I love everything on there. It's a small bar to be sure, but everything is always so fresh and tasty. The fruits they have in that infamous tub are of the super fruit variety: the strawberries are the size of a baby's fist. No actually, bigger. Like a fat baby's fist. Am I going on too much about the strawberries? I suppose if your establishment is called "Strawberry Street Cafe" it would be clever to incorporate strawberries, and business savvy to ensure those strawberries are amazing. I digress. The latest thing I ordered from their menu was the maryland crab cake sandwich. The crab cake itself was very good- it was distinctively crabby tasting, which was extremely satisfactory. Now on the menu it said that it was served on an english muffin, and at first it sounded good, but the crab cake did not pair well with the muffin, so I just ate the former, no big deal. Nice quaint decor, nice people; I like this place.

Three and a half stars The pros -excellent service -huge salad bar -tons of side options-- mac n'cheese.. no wait! succotash.. not wait onion rings... no wait..they have about seven different options (CRAP!) with your sandwich or burgers - they connect with local charities and 10% of their crab cake proceeds go towards a local org for the blind during the month of August.. that's dope! - decent liquor, boozy and wine lists - cute decor The food - The grilled chicken panini like sammich was average - The crab cake was aight three iced teas, one glass of vino, three coffees, two crab cake sandwiches and two chicken paninis were 70 dollars... not too bad Good atmosphere and the desserts looking yummy! I would eat here again... a few things - parking is a pain in the ass - their onion rings are really tasty and cooked perfectly... golden brown crunchy outside and warm inside...

Strawberry Street Cafe is another Richmond icon that refused to die. This is another place that is so steeped in Richmond lore that it is one of those places that gets recommended based on its reputation as one of the only fan restaurants back in the 1980's rather then its keeping up with the dozens of far better Fan establishments. What put them on the map was that they had a good gimmick, the bathtub salad bar. This, when salad bars were a rarity and to have one in such a novel vessel, well everyone in Richmond had to come see for themselves! (People were easily amused 30 years ago I guess) No it just seems quaint. The place has not been renovated in as long as I can remember and still looks the same as it has forever. Lots of wood, stained glass, a nice bar actually and bistro type tables with a few perimeter booths. I like the steak fries, the quiche, and they have a burger night that is also worth going for. I also like the Tomato Bisque here. Brunch will still satisfy and Strawberry St Cafe still has a loyal following for brunch but there can be long waits after church lets out. Parking is also an issue. Sample some wines by the glass as well. A good way to find a new brand without committing to a bottle!

This was the very first place I ever went to in RIchmond, when I was house hunting with my sister, and I was totally underwhelmed. The service was poor and the food mediocre. My hot sandwich was ice cold and my sister's fruit salad looked like it had been sitting out for a week in the kitchen. I know I should go back and give it another try, as maybe I hit it on a bad day at a bad time when all the good servers had the day off and the cook called in sick. But, the bottom line in the restaurant biz is that once someone has an awful experience, it's really hard to convince them to come back.

This place is awesome. If you love seriously fresh fruit and veggies (and I o not eat them but they looked yummy), if you like unique dishes (ex. Crab quiche w a blueberry muffin), and if you like a small nestled traditional restaurant, this is the place!

I was a student at VCU in the very early 90's. I was vegetarian, and back then, the veggie options were limited. But somehow I ended up getting Strawberry Street Cafe's vegetarian black bean burger way back then, and literally have NEVER forgotten it! 18 years later, i was still thinking about this burger. So, on an impromptu visit to richmond today, I decided to go back and check it out again. I was terribly worried that i'd have remembered this burger as being way better than it actually was-- but no! I am happy to report that I'm still impressed with their veggie bean burger! And the "sauce" that's served with it is just as tasty as i remember as well (like a slightly spicy ranch-dip?)!! so, hooray for keeping the food consistently good and seemingly homemade for two decades! On behalf of vegetarians, I'd like to salute Strawberry street cafe for NOT selling out or taking the easy route (like everyone else seems to do) by just throwing a frozen, machine-manufactured "veggie burger" patty in the microwave and serving it to me as something worthy of paying a bloated price for. I *really* want to give the place 5-stars, but the women's bathroom was utterly gross (filthy, gunky trashcan, floor/floorboard, paper towel dispenser...). How could the food be so great and the bathroom so oooky?

If I were over 40, had a tiny dog, loved brunch with my recently divorced friends and were not a vegan, I would probably love Strawberry St. Since I'm in my mid-20's and prone to a life without animal derived food ingredients, I find their menu lacking, and more than a tad boring. Even if I were a meat eater, the menu is chocked full of the same things it had 5 and 10 years ago. A little evolution in the menu might be good. Pros: The atmosphere is nice and it is part of Richmond History (Bath tub salad bar anyone?). Cons: At 5 ft 7 inches it is actually hard for me to reach the bath tub salad bar (maybe I just have short arms and a taste for things in the very back). It's always cold and like I mentioned previously, there is about 1 thing I can eat on the rather uninspired menu of comfort foods. Really I only go here when I'm not footing the bill for my own meal.

I was very unimpressed with Strawberry Street Cafe. The restaurant itself was kinda dreary and gloomy. Tho food was also very underwhelming. I got the black bean burger and it was just meh. I forgot was my friends got but they felt the same way. We got a few Starr Hill pumpkin porters which we delicious. This place really doesn't live up to all the hype. I'll give it another shot and see if they can bump up a star or two.

Where can you say you got your food out of a bath tub? The brunch buffet is served from a white bath tub which is definitely unusual. The hot items from the buffet was good (sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, eggs, bacon, grits), but the pastry items (muffins, cinnamon rolls, etc) were dry and bland. Tasted like day old...maybe week old. Service was good and place got busy by 11:00 (opens at 10am). Not a repeater for me, but maybe the menu items are worth going back.

The atmosphere was very nice, but not really what i was expecting, the lighting was very upscale and romantic. Along with most of the dishes because we missed brunch. However, the food was amazing so I think we are definitely going to have to go back and try bruch!

I haven't been here in about 3 years, but I just joined Yelp today and am going around reviewing my favorite restaurants from my life. I went to college in Richmond, and this is where I always brought visitors. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, and the food is pretty good. (Not amazing, but pretty good.) I just loved the vibe in there, and their quiches, their crabcake, and the chocolate truffle cake (ridiculously good) were my staples. My senior year, I moved to The Fan and started shopping in their market a lot. They had a baked brie one time that I fell in love with. I don't think they do that all the time, but boy was it good.

This has to be one of the best places to eat brunch in town. All the food in the buffet is fresh and delicious. Something about the gravy you put on your biscuits keeps you coming back. Cheese grits are awesome when you dip the red skin potatoes in it. And I'm not a big fan of grits. The waffle was plenty filling and ended up taking half home after demolishing the buffet waiting for it. It was great in the toaster oven the following morning for breakfast. Worth the 30 minute wait on Sunday after church. Enjoy!

I really looked forward to coming here after I found out my friend lives across the street! So after flying into Richmond, the first place I suggested for a much-needed breakfast was Strawberry Street Cafe. Walking in, we saw just how packed the whole place was! Good sign, because it means it's popular with locals. We also noticed the huge religious paintings, which was kind of odd, but still, our eyes soon focused on the menus. Since we were there for Sunday brunch, the menus were slightly different. However, the selection was a bit limited and some of the choices were pretty pricey. I ended up ordering a bagel and cream cheese, and my friends had some egg dishes. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come, and by that point (after an overnight flight from LA), I was so tired and hungry that I'd lost my appetite. Plus, nowhere on the menu did it say the bagel would be sourdough, which was not to my liking. I did enjoy their cinnamon-glazed apples, though, and my friends liked their dishes. I wouldn't mind returning to try the other dishes the next time I'm in town, but I'm sure there are other options in town that are just as good.

I've been here at least 4-5 times and this use to be one of my favorite places but I came here recently on a friday and everything i ordered was just awful low grade food. The Mac and Cheese here use to be amazing but now it taste worse than easy mac. This goes the same for the chicken pot pie which came semi soggy. Me and my gf just up and left after attempting to eat half the food.

Strawberry Street Cafe is a gem. I won't go near the salad bar, mostly because I kind of have a thing against eating out of bathtubs, but the menu makes up for it. I usually go for breakfast (Eggs Florentine) or lunch (gourmet grilled cheese and the tomato bisque), but no matter what time of the day the service is always friendly.

  • Lyne A.

Not bad for a little city dive, or as some call "an institution." The food was just ok and somewhat overpriced, but the ambiance was pretty cool. Salad bar tub was fun to look at and the crowd seemed to be a diverse mix of neighborhood regulars and the tourist-types. Parking is a con, only sidestreet available.

Had lunch at this place since it's a hop and a skip from my buddy's place. Menu was extensive? But I opted for the unlimited salad bar (obviously). It was shaped like a bathtub (?) and amazing. I probably would've kept going at it (gotta love how veggies are so low in calories) but had a conscience and a bit of shame lol. Also served chilli with it too? Loved the chicken and egg salad. Spicy mushrooms. Although the hard-boiled eggs were a bit too .... hard and boiled. But still loved it!

I've been to Strawberry Street both for their Sunday brunch and for a quick dinner. I must say that I'm a big fan of the buffet. Not only is it fun because their salad bar is a bathtub, but the quality of food is good, too. I'm a salad lover and as a result, I'm pretty picky about my salad bars. The one at Strawberry Street has great variety including fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, protein options, and more. In my many visits here, I never once experienced less-than-fresh options. The one time I ordered a "meal" instead of opting for the salad bar, I had a chicken wrap. It was good, but nothing terribly special. I recommend that you go and try out the salad bar at the very least!

As others have mentioned, very vegetarian-friendly, so that is a definite plus. Service is great. The pineapple juice is amazing. And love the salad bar and dessert options. Always gotta stop here when in Richmond!!

I love Strawberry Street! Not only is it beautiful on the inside, but the salad bar, food, side dish options and desserts are all fantastic. The staff there have always been prompt, helpful and down to earth. It's a great place to take visiting friends/family there to eat. Plus, you can tell them they've now been to a place mentioned on Jeopardy-- who doesn't love that? :) But-- I do agree that parking can be a pain and can lead to a block or two of walking (Gasp! Oh no! Walking?!), but it's worth it if you must drive there.

  • Cait G.

Strawberry Street is one of my favorite places in the city! When I lived at home, we used to eat there at least once a week; that's how good (and inexpensive) it is. The bathtub salad bar is always full of really fresh vegetables, and their soups are usually amazing. Also, their menu items are killer. It's one of my favorite places to get a burger. The prices are really reasonable, and the food has great variety. The ambiance is really fun, too, and their beer list is great. If you are really picky about a menu staying constant, then this might not be the place for you. It's definitely a more family-based environment, or full of young professionals; it's not as trendy as a lot of other restaurants elsewhere Downtown, but it's way better.

I've gone here for lunch several times. Usually I get the salad bar, which of course is somewhat of a novelty being that it is served in an old clawfoot bathtub. Also, the salad bar has soup on it which is pretty cool. I haven't ordered much off the actually menu beyond the veggie burger, which was pretty good. They actually make their own patties (thankfully, not one of those places that serve you up a garden burger after nuking it in the microwave for 30 seconds). I'll be back again I'm sure.

I love this place. I've visited it twice in 2002 and 2009. I love their crab quiche and their chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream (the best I've had). The atmosphere is casual and you'll usually find people waiting outside till they open in the afternoon. The most interesting part of the decor is the tub that serves as salad bar. Don't worry! It's clean and the salad is on top; not inside. Parking is a bit tough, but the place is definitely worth it. Besides, the cafe is in a pretty neighborhood that is pleasant to explore. If you're driving down 95 (South, of course), stop in Richmond and find this little jewel.

I love the Fan atmosphere of this restaurant and the concept of the salad bar. It's a good place to get brunch on a Sunday and in the evening, they have good Sunday specials. However, I had to bump the stars a little bit because the quality of their entrees are not always consistent.

Strawberry Street Cafe use to be one of my all time favorite restaurants when I lived in Richmond. I still visit Richmond frequently and have been back recently. Strawberry Street does not have the same great food I remember. Everything is pretty average there now. The bathtub salad bar is fun!

This was the second place I ever ate in Richmond (the first was Joe's), and I've always loved it. The salad bar is delicious, and we've rarely been disappointed by a meal. My usual was the cajun chicken wrap with a side of black beans and the salad bar. Don't expect a gourmet meal...it's just good, simple food.

I went here for brunch this morning and it was a disaster. My husband and I ordered the brunch buffet and I have never seen a more poorly placed buffet. Everything that you would want - eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits - was crammed into a tiny area of the square-shaped buffet while all the items you might not be as interested in were spread out around the rest of the square. There was no clear delineation of where the line should start meaning that people would just cut in wherever, and a waitress ran into me with left over containers of food as she was changing out various parts of the buffet. She didn't really apologize and the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth - literally. The food wasn't that good. Bland and overcooked. And there were no signs to helpfully let you know whether the substance you were scooping onto your plate was grits or gravy. Just poor execution from start to finish. Which is a shame because I was really looking forward to the buffet based on its charming description on the website. But we won't be coming back anytime soon.

awful! just moved to area and had out of town guest-- to show them the best of richmond we decided to eat here since i had heard so much about it--it took an hour to get our food that was cold quiche and burnt burgers- the bathtub buffet was a mess and the salads looked like it had been sitting for quite awhile--let me add this was at noon so everything should have been fresh--extremely disappointed!!

The food didn't knock my socks off. Rather normal tasting food that did not wow me by any means. Not horrible food, but not amazing. I don't think I will be coming back any time soon unless others around me really want to go. Service was good. Parking seems like it is plentiful given that the restaurant is located in a residential area. I live down the street so I had no need to park.

Great place to bring mom & Grandma. Crab Quiche is awesome and don't miss the bathtub salad bar. I should go there more often.

i mean, c'mon? salad in a bathtub? that alone should get you in the door. excellent brunch. 10.95 for UNLIMITED BRUNCH BAR. great deal. cheap drinks and great entrees too! service is always great. staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. and they serve food at the bar as well, so don't always have to wait. which you probably will be doing if you go on a fri or sat night. but well worth the wait. they can accommodate large groups too, so its great for parties. no separate banquet room though.

Eaten here a few times--but never out of the bathtub, so maybe I'm missing out on something. At any rate, the food seems to be decent, and service adequate, and the atmosphere bustling. Situated next to 8 1/2 and Fan Video, it fits in nicely as a good place to bring your parents (at least, my parents really love it).

cute location, wish it were a place with some inspired food. expect the same old, same old. feels a little dirty and needs a face lift. i'd love to be able to give this place more stars, because i love the fan. but the food needs to impress me at least once first.

Is the food here phenomenal? No. Is it solid? Sure. Is it a Fan institution? Definitely. Did my parents get engaged here and so I have an irrational fondness for it despite having had patchy service and food there? Maaaaaaybe....

AND they have great happy hour deals from 4pm-7pm and a fairly extensive drink menu; what more could you ask from a local restaurant?!

cute quaint neighborhood hangout!

Blah! I knew I was in trouble when I walked in and the brunch crowd had the average age of 60. The buffet was just blah, I don't even feel like talking about it.

  • Megan G.

  • Emily C.

Good burgers and respectable entrees in a homey local cafe.
