Okay, first thing's first. The chicken is delicious! Juicy and tender chicken with a crispy, tasty coating -- that's what its all about right? If the fried chicken is good at the fried chicken restaurant, its time to go and try it! However, not everything is delicious there.... First, the biscuit ain't no biscuit. Its a roll, and looks suspiciously like those pre-made frozen rolls you buy at the grocery store and pull apart once cooked. Mine was unappetizing with no flavor and a ho-hum consistency. The gravy on the mashed potatoes had wayyyy too much pepper in it, which kind of ruined the potatoes for me. Well...not quite. :) The potatoes were creamy and I tried to eat as much as I could while avoiding the gravy. Still, I will be getting plain mashed potatoes next time. Yeah, that's right -- next time. The chicken and mashed potatoes were good without all the add-ons, and with our $6 coupon for 4 pieces, 2 sides & 2 biscuits, its a great price for the financially challenged like me & Ryan C.
