Not a bad little soul food buffet. Food was good, but service was a bit lacking. Nice variety of food all "home style". Waited and waited for bread and water refills. I think we were about finished with our meal before we got either. Worth a try and may go back to see if service improves.

Quite possibly the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. A group was there for an event during the day and Boogie was rude to the entire crowd regarding the music equipment. (rather than address his concerns to the individual who organized the event) he then refused to play the song requested as the honoree entered the room - instead we had stunned silence. If we didn't have the event planned we all would have immediately left. I thought the food tasted like it was reheated frozen and canned food. Several items on the menu were not available and we weren't told to make substitutions until the rest of our order arrived. We had three tables and our table had finished our lunch and the cake (that we brought) before the third table was served. The bathroom toilet had the dark ring in the bowl, I took this to mean that it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. All this to explain why we will never go back.

This place has a nice warm feeling. I ordered the catfish lunch wit a side of collards and mac. Collards was awful the mac was not tasty and the catfish was good which need to be fried harder. Side bread was hard on edges. Not a happy customer. Second like I said came in around 2 pm for lunch which they don't open til 12 pm and they charged me for dinner which was 10.11 with taxes smh, will not ever go back there again.
