It's really hit or miss with Tyson's TGI Friday's. I've had some wonderful experiences, and some awful ones. Happy hour is always a good option, as there are many $2 and $3 beers, and several $4 mixed drinks. Most of the appetizers are half price. And the food is normally pretty good. Were it not for happy hour, I probably wouldn't go there though. My worst experience was being seated and not having a server come by for 15 MINUTES! I ended up leaving without even waiting any longer. I complained to the manager, but he seem disinterested.

WHAT HAPPENED TO TGI FRIDAY'S??? My boyfriend and I had a craving for wings and ribs, and we thought what better place to go to than Friday's. I have been there before and it was ok, though Friday's in other countries is better. This time being in America we thought the service would be even better but were very shocked. Our waitress took our orders and brought the wings pretty fast but then disappeared. I had to call someone else to get two empty plates because we were sharing the platter, the guy brings them and they are disgustingly dirty, with old food stuck on them. I had to get up and look for someone to bring other plates, they were not even apologetic about it. Then came the main course after 30 minutes of waiting, the waitress had clearly forgotten about us, and it was wrong. When I brought it up she was rude and arrogant and looked like she was going to slap me. She then got the drinks wrong and took another 20 minutes. They didn't even bother to bring forks and knives for which I had to get up myself. It's such a horrible feeling when they just dump the food and things on the table with no care in the world. Last I heard this was a restaurant not a cafeteria in prison. The worst part was when we asked for the check, of course she took for ever but then brought back wrong change twice, trying to cheat us on $3 as if we were not going to notice or we couldn't count. Very bad waitress and trying to steal on top of it? We were very disappointed and will never go back. This was at Tyson's Corner mall in Virginia. Oh food is also only SO SO mass produced, the wings and ribs I make at home are soooo much better. :(

Not a fan of the noise or the hipster d-bags that congregate here but I am a fan of good service! Ask for Reginald next time you go. He was polite, charismatic, quick with drink refills, and very tentative.

Experiences like this sort of make me understand why my friends are aversive to chain restaurants. So here you have a gigantic mall with tons and tons of stores. Vegetarianism may not be the most 'in' fad, but with this many people you just know there are going to be a fair number of the veggie inclined. So why did they get rid of the veggie burger?! I don't know. Plus most of their appetizers are loaded with me. Gotta love the whole 'oh no meat goes in? Let's load it with BACON!' attitude. Yuck. I had to do what I loathe to do: ask for a salad without meat (contrary to popular opinion vegetarians don't only eat salad). I mean, it was OK. But yeah.. I absolutely hate doing that. If you don't have vegetarian options on your menu I think you send a big 'you're not welcome' sign on your restaurant. Other than that... service was good. The waiters were nice (which is why I added one star as opposed to one). The alcohol was filled with ice and didn't have much alcohol. Prices were kind of high. Not my best experience.

The husband and I found ourselves in the mall around lunchtime on a Sunday waiting for our movie to start. Since Friday's is right across from the AMC Theater, we decided to go there instead of one of the more traditional food court places. The place was virtually empty, but our waiter was slow to show up to our table. It took ten minutes for our drinks to arrive, but our waiter did apologize and take our food order immediately. Husband had a Jack Daniel's burger that he said was just fine and I had the boneless buffalo wings (appetizer) as my entree. My wings were pretty good, but the bleu cheese dressing they came with needed a little extra something. Service was okay. Large televisions in bar area were great for watching football pre-game. Prices are decent for lunch and I would probably return here if I knew I wouldn't have to wait in line for a table. This place is typically packed on a weekend. Also, excellent people watching if you sit out in the "patio" area.

I'm not a fan of TGI Friday's food in general, so I can't fault an individual restaurant for that. But I do fault them for bad service at this location. I've been there on various occasions, and it always seems like the staff are bothered by the fact you want to eat there. I went one time on a very slow day with a friend, there were maybe two other tables with customers. We were asked by 3 separate people if we wanted to sit at the bar before we were actually seated. Each time we said no, we wanted to sit at a regular table, the person gave us an exasperated look and walked away to go discuss our request with the other staff. When the last person finally seated us, the service was painfully slow and the waitress made multiple mistakes with our orders (and we didn't ask for substitutions or anything special).

Can't really say anything negative about the food as Friday's is Friday's. Its chain restaurant aimed at giving you food satisfaction without the worry of a rather expensive meal or need to wear special dress and attire. This location is probably known more for the bar. As a place I frequented right after the college it can be hit or miss. Its located in a very busy business area so you can get your fare share of suits and professionals which always make for a mature scene. Beware though, there are several car dealerships close by and it can cause of bit tackiness and the sales cheese ball vibe. Another negative too it sometimes appears to be a I didn't go to college but want to live college lifestyle scene. Baseball hats, cheap cologne and a ton of I think I am a bad ass. The entrance is rather amusing because it has an oval shape much like a toilet and hence is dubbed the Toilet Bowl Building. The parking is horrible so be prepared to fight for a spot.

It's Friday('s) Friday('s), but I'm not exactly down with this Friday's. I came here on a Monday for lunch with the two 7-year-olds I nanny for. Here's the rundown on our experience. Food: SHRIMP KEY WEST: Shrimp dusted with cajun spices and a splash of ginger-lime served with a side of broccoli. This was a "right portion, right price" option, but I ended up adding a side of rice becaue with the shrimp and broccoli it just seemed lacking. The shrimp was way over-cooked (the waitress offered to replace it, but I declined primarily because of time constraints) but flavored well. The broccoli was great, fresh-steamed, served as a head as always. CHEESEBURGER This is where I was surprised. My 7-year-old, who has eaten every cheeseburger ever to grace his plate said, and I quote, "It tastes like vomit!" I tried it and although I didn't have the same gag-reaction, it definitely didn't seem right. Old, maybe? But the fries were devoured with no qualms (typical). CHICKEN TENDERS Well, seriously. Who can mess up chicken tenders? These were fine, maybe a touch too heavily breaded/crunchy, but that's preferential. Service: I appreciate that the server offered to replace my over-cooked shrimp, but she didn't check on us for quite some time after we were done, and I ended up having to hunt her down to have her run the check. And when she came to clear our table, she dropped the pile of plates right at our feet. I felt bad for her, and know she's not responsible for the food, so I ended up tipping ~30%, but overall, it was sub-par. Location: Fantastic. No questions. I mean, it's right in the mall. Super easy to hit a movie, get lunch, and head downstairs for fro-yo after. Parking is in the upper deck of the lot, and super easy mid-day (good luck Friday nights, though). Atmosphere: The atmosphere is nice. Good bar area, and a feux (because it's indoor) patio area. But it is in the mall (The fact of which you're reminded when the kids' choo-choo-train chugs by every few minutes). Bottom line: I've definitely had better. If you're talking movie and drinks, its convenience can't be questioned, but if you're looking for a nice dinner, look elsewhere for quality service and food.

Great location.. Could've been nicer if the waiters/ waitresses are little more attentive. Can get loud sometimes with birthday marching.

Everything looked microwaved (you know you've seen it in the freezer aisle), especially the "Sliders"-basically a 6 inch flat patty on a hoagie roll cut in two with tomato and pickles on TOP...wut?! If you're going to give me whitecastle, don't disguise it as something that needs a toothpick stuck through it. The bartender ripped us off with our tiny unchilled shots of gg (my friend that lives off the stuff nearly gagged), and wouldn't even provide chasers for the ladies. It was a bit messy and chaotic at times but that's probably because happy hour goes til 9PM. I'm not a fan, but I wish they had one for the second hand smoke.

Allright, i'll be the first to admit that TGI Fridays is no 5 star restaurant, but it isn't that bad. And when the only other palatable option for a sit down meal at Tysons is Coastal Flats, it could get a lot worse! If you want to avoid the noise, sit on the "outside" patio (not really outside... outside the restaurant, but still in the mall). PLus there is very little smoke! Now the food, is not all that great, but if you go during happy hour they have $2 drafts of domestics and $4 mixed drinks (like margaritas, long islands, martinis). Its really a good deal! Plus all their appetizers are $4, which is great for munching. I enjoyed my dinner (the sizzling chicken and cheese). Their mashed potatoes were actually quite tasty. I also really like the brushetta pasta..... very good! It really is the best place for a resonably priced pre-movie meal.

It could get busy on the weekends so if you like the crowded and noisy atmosphere then go for it. The food is okay and it's good that they always have promotions. Go there for someone's birthday and they'll sing to your table while bringing out a complimentary ice cream dessert =) Never had a bad experience.

There is nothing special about TGI Fridays except for on Fridays. Fridays happy hour many appetizers are half off, and there are lots of good drink specials. There is also no time limit so it is an amazing deal. Its a great place to go before catching a movie. I likely wouldn't come here for a regular meal but for Happy Hour you can't beat it.

Two stars because I gotta give a bonus star for the memories. I remember TGI Fridays being the dope eat out spot when I was in high school. When the Jack Daniel's portion of the menu came out my friends and I would wait an hour to snag a table and eat what we thought were great ribs. Oh how times have changed. The apps of wings, spinach dip, and fried green beans were decent. Entrées were a huge let down...especially the ribs!!! I will admit that the food portions are big and the 3 for 12.99 deal is a steal. I'm sure it's a combination of my taste in food being different and possibly the change in food quality over the years but I can't see myself coming back here anytime soon.

Food is okay but this particular Friday's is probably the worst. It's basically a bar/club for the underage.

hi, me and my girlfriend, we went out yesterday to have some steak, despite having a really bad day, my gf and me as nice as we can, we got to our table and got serve with a "dude", we try to order and he didn't even try to write it down, he forget the drink we order and comeback and ask what we would like for drink. he brought 2 drink up without straw, so i try to call him, but he ignore me, i have to go and get the straw myself. then we pay for everything, and 18% tips for the dude, we rush to get some thing at HM for 10mins and went back, we got to our table, the food was cold and dry, the fall of the bone rips wasn't fall off the bone, and the medium rare was medium well. we ask our server again, and he didn't come, i personally step up to him and tell him to come to our table, instead he walk other direction. so we ask someone else. i was mad, but i talk nicely to the manager and so on, we waited for another 15 minutes, our serves bring out the food, which throw it on the table in front of me and my girl. my girl was mad as f*ck, but i try to calm her. i still see that greedy eyes of our server, but i have a bad day, and i just don't want to go another step futher, and my girl was there too. but the servicee was terrible, the food was cold, and because we gave him tips already, the entrie of our dinning there was no services, our drink was water and never got refill, there was no cherrry in my girl drink. we been there every weekend, sometime weekday, onetime the food was cold, and dry, but our sever was not as bad as this dude. and he exchange it without us spoken to the manager, because it's clearly cold. just so if you wonder where the store was it is a Tyson Corner, VA. my girl never want to be there again. so i guess that's it. just want to share with you guys our experience.

Not really the place for a 58 year old like me, but better than expected. I would not normally go to a TGIF Fridays, especially in a mall, because they tend to be loud and skew much younger. However, my daughter wanted to go for her 12th birthday, so we took her and a few friends. It had its ups and downs. Downs, apart from the expected noise, were mostly logistical. We had a reservation (which I understnd they don't normally make), but were not seated until 30 minutes later, despite being told just a few minutes. Then it took a while for drinks to arrive. The Ups? The waiter was very nice and friendly, as well as competent, and quickly put me in a much better mood. And the food was surprisingly good. I had salmon with a crab and parmesan topping. The salmon was pretty well cooked, and the dish was tasty. The accompanying sweet potato fries and broccoloi were also nicely done. My wife's petite sirloin was quite decent as well, and the kids seemed to enjoy their meals. Not bad for 5 people at about $110 including a generous tip.

Please do not come here if your only purpose is to visit TGI. Parking is a Bi@%h if you decide on parking upstairs where its located. Don't get me wrong. Happy hour is until 9pm at all of their locations $2/beer and appetizers are half off from 3pm to close. All I'm saying is come to the TGI in the mall if you're here to also do some shopping or watch a movie. All other locations I give it 4 stars.

  • MIchael K.

Maybe I'm just getting old and have outgrown these kinds of idiotic places, but I find TGIF to be ridiculously loud and the customers to be brash and obnoxious. It doesn't help that the clientele all look like gang bangers what with their pants drooping down around their rear ends and their necks covered with gold chains by which I mean this place is a haven for 22 year old losers. If that appeals to you, by all means ... if not, there are many other places in Tyson's Mall where you and your family can enjoy a nice meal. Also, and as a personal side complaint, they cater to the soccer crowd and as part of that will always have their many TVs tuned to a soccer match between Bolivia and Brazil rather than show the Washington Capitals or Washington Nationals. Is there a thread that ties this TV viewing strategy together with 22 year old tattooed, gold chained wearing losers? I'll let you decide.

it's places like this that make me hate myself a little more. -the food is dismal -the douchebags that frequent this place must have been inbred -the little kiddies loitering around the mall make me want to fling them over to the 2nd floor -it's in a mall -the parking lot is a public restroom man..this could take awhile the only reason my and my girls come back? -the happy hour is INSANE insane enough for me to forget that i am at TGI Fridays. and that really is the point...isn't it??

I just went here tonight and the service has gotten so much better since the last time I've been there. I went for a late dinner and our waitor was so nice and helpful. First of all, the waitors now use PDAs instead in paper and pen and it was the coolest thing I've seen. Most of just attached to their belts but some are attached to their wrists. They can also swip your credit/debit card right at the table using the PDAs, the only thing is they can't print out your receipt. The food was really good, we ordered potato skins, some barbaque type of chicken, and two different types of slider burgers. The service in general was really good and the place has def gotten better.

Good place for happy hour. It's just like any other Fridays. Its proximity to AMC makes it nice to have a drink before a movie. Service can be hit or miss here and it tends to always have loud music or sports casts playing from the bar area which is not very well sectioned off from the dining area. That and the overall loudness of the mall make this a pretty hectic Fridays. On the other hand, they have a great menu, many choices. More than anything, it's my TGI Stripes rewards card that keeps me coming back once in a while. To be honest, there are many other better sit down options at Tysons and even some of the fast food "mall food" places may offer you a better meal, depending on what food you are into.

TGI's is not going to win any food accolades for its menu. TGI's in not going to win any service awards. However, if we take TGI's for what it is, a corporate chain with average food and service then we can compare to other similar choices in this category. I go to TGI's for one reason only, Happy Hour. If you want to knock back some brews and get some cheap fried appys then this place is one of the few in the area that delivers. They do not readily advertise it but TGI's happy hour runs from 4pm to 9 pm M-F at the bar only. Thats very generous. American beer brands are $2 each and each restaurant may have their own special brew at a deep discount like Sam Adams. They also have some discounted specialty cocktails like Long Island Ice Tea etc in huge fishbowls. I would stay away from them unless you order "top shelf alcohol." The rot gut on the rail will make your toes curl. They also have half price apps like wings, fried string beans and potato skins. The wings are not bad and at these prices offer a significant bargain. Try the string beans... they have a unique taste and have the consistency of french fries. My favorite is the Jack Daniels chicken strips. They are a bit on the sweet side but they are tasty and unique. TGI's salads are pretty good as well. Try the pecan encrusted chicken salad. All in all this is not the place to take a date or relatives. However, to meet friends after work for a cheap happy hour outing this is as good as it gets. Don't expect too much and TGI's will surprise you. If not with their food and drink ...then with the tab.

I go here ALOT. Best Fridays around if your into the chain. I recommend only the food from the Jack Daniels menu or the crispy green beans. You have to be a stripes member to get your moneys worth. 90% of the time the service is good.

I came here on a Wednesday at 5. I had no idea the place would be so packed that I would be ignored for 25 minutes before I lost interest in even eating here. To be fair, this location is quite nice - much nicer than any other Friday's I've ever been to. There's about 50 or so seats up at the bar and plenty of tables. It wasn't people in their work clothes who were visiting here; it was people who were only here to watch a soccer game. The length of time it took to serve me left a very bitter taste in my mouth, and I probably won't be coming back.

My wife and I were headed to the movies and decided to grab a bite before hand. We sat at the bar on a Sunday night (tonight) and the place was packed. The energy in TGI is upbeat and there are a lot of TV's going on at once. The bar maid told us about the food and my wife ordered a French Onion soup which was really delicious. Very well done and cheesy. I ordered the tomato soup, which was also very tasty, hot and filling. We ordered the mediterranean with steak and they took a while (too long) to bring us the appetizer size, we ordered the meal. So they re-ordered it and that took a while too, maybe 20 minutes. When we got the first wrong dish we had a few bites before we realized it was not what we wanted. After we told the bar maid we asked another if we should eat this or if she was going to take it away. Seamed a waste to dump it, but she did, just chucked it in the trash or we could pay for both. Another bar maid said that the manger insisted on taking both food items off of our check, very nice of them. We enjoyed the med (beef) in the theater very much. We would go back again and perhaps sit at a table. The food was really good and they fixed their mistake in the end.

This location used to be great but the recent changes in management and staff has dragged this spot to the bottom for the food chain. No pun intended. The new furniture and swag is over run in red, I preferred the old sports looks, made it feel more classic. The staff is not too friendly and the food is over priced for the quality. I will not be returning anytime soon but hope others have a better experience than me.

I generally like T.G.I. Friday's however this particular location feels that since they get enough traffic from being next to the Movie Theater in Tyson's Corner Mall they can provide smaller portions sizes than other locations and provide worse service. If you want to go here for a "quick" bite before your movie - chances are you won't make your movie. Can someone show me how to rate 0 stars?

Admittedly it's been a long time since I've been to a TGI Friday's, but it has been a place I've enjoyed going to in the past. This was my first time at this location, drawn partly due to the "buy one entree, Get one free" coupon printed from their website. We order the 1/2 Rack of Babyback Ribs and the Cajun Salmon Pasta. On the menu it stated that it was the right price for the right portion which could only mean that the portion sizes aren't the typical gigantic sizes you're used to seeing at many restaurants. Even with this little bit of knowledge we were a bit surprised just how underwhelming the food was. Consideration has to be given that this TGIF is located in the Tyson's Corner Mall and that food prices will automatically be inflated. The 1/2 Rack of Babyback Ribs were delicious and seemed like a decent meal at a decent price ($8.99). The Cajun Salmon Pasta was a different story though. It essentially looked like a kid-sized portion at regular price ($9.39). It did taste good, but very unsatisfying. Is pasta really that expensive? Although the service was good, and we paid less than normal price, we both left unsatisfied and even stopped by Wendy's to pick up a Chicken Salad and Chili. If we revisit TGIF, it's probably not going to be this location. Take a look at the pictures I uploaded and judge for yourself.

Been there are few times for happy hour. The bar area gets crowded after work hours and its hard to find a table at the bar too. They do put your name on the list for the bar but often times I have seen people sneak up and park themselves on an empty table by the bar! Drinks are good and appetizers are a hit or a miss.

Not my favorite but the Happy Hour is the closest to satisfying me like Yardhouse. I wish they have a Yardhouse in the VA/DC area. The happy hour is reasonable. They have a Friday's membership thing where you are sent coupons and such. The shakers are pretty good here. Sliders are okay. Cheese fries are okay. Main entree's aren't that great. So try to order appetizers and drinks here. Not really a good food food eating place, more of a drinking/happy hour place.

I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. I go to Fridays once every five years or so, at varying locations. I don't know why, but eventually I break down and give it another shot. We show up at 6:25 and we're seated. At 6:30 (I explain why I know the exact times in a minute) we place our orders. When we order, we ask the server if we would be able to order their meal trio deal and still make it to a 7pm movie for which we already bought tickets. He said absolutely, no problem, I'll tell them to bring out everything at once. We get our appetizer at 6:40, and he says that we'll get our entrees in one minute. Then, he disappears and isn't seen from again...until 7pm. 7pm, the time that we said that our movie started, he comes out with our entrees (keep in mind that dessert would still need to come out too). The kicker? We orders entree salads! They don't take a half hour to prepare. So naturally we had to turn away our entrees and leave after only eating a single appetizer. They were "nice" enough to comp the entree without us asking for that, but what a complete waste of time. Oh, and what we did eat (some spinach artichoke flatbread app) was flavorless. A ton of salt and pepper later, it improved incrementally. So if the food isn't good, and the service sucks...why exactly would anyone eat here? Eventually I'll learn my lesson and stop going back to crappy places, because they just don't change.

Great place to grab a pre-movie drink. I usually hang at the bar & get a nice drink before walking over to amc next door. The bartenders are super nice & one of our bartenders conjured up a nice shot called "the bong." I recommend asking for it, it was a nice sweet taste with different liquors in it. It did the trick that's for sure! Plus, the bartender was always attentive. The weekends are busy but the service keeps up with it very well.

ordered two stack burgers, with mayo on the side. the ordering waiter did not deliver the plates to our table, the delivery waitress, instead, announced the wrong burgers. asked her to check with the ordering waiter who had ordered what. he had to be roused from the next booth! but we still got the wrong plates, the orders were switched, i.e. by placing the other's plate in front of the wrong person, and i didn't realize it until i tasted the bleu cheese, indicating i was given the wife's plate. the manager was called, and finally agreed that the philly stack burger had been switched with an american stack burger, and got it replaced with the correct order. so one burger had been switched, and also both plates had been delivered to the wrong person. it is hard for the customer to detect this before actually biting into it, because different stack burgers can be very similar in appearance. finally the food quality, in terms of hot freshness, of both sandwich and fries was way below par, the service which was incompetent and/or inattentive, did not rate a tip either.

Everyone knows the trouble a large group can run into when trying to eat dinner together at a restaurant. We didn't have a reservation, yet we came with 10 guests and wanted separate checks. This particular FRIDAYS did an AMAZING job accommodating us last night. The host was great as well as the manager. We originally were seated in the restaurant area, when we realized that we couldn't get the happy hour deals unless we sat in the bar. We were then moved to a smaller table in the bar that didn't fit all of our group. We then found two small tables that the hosts combined together to fit us all. Our server, Patrick, was amazing and very attentive and personal. We had a wonderful time! Thanks FRIDAYS! Oh and I had the 2 for $10 deal- Bruschetta Chicken Pasta with shrimp and the salted caramel cake. Delicious!

My boyfriend and I went to dinner there one night and we had an amazing waitress named Liz. She was helpful, kind and considerate and let us know about the 1/2 off items. If you are going to TGI Fridays and want to be seated in a good section, ask for Liz. She works pretty much the whole summer there and is always super efficient and provides speedy service with bringing out your food. You'll be in and out of there in no time! :-)

I normally don't review chain restaurants, but I feel compelled to for this location for the following reasons. One night my gf and I decided to get a late dinner since we just watched a movie. Upon sitting down, first it took probably a good 20 minutes before the waitress realized she had to help us. Well we order drinks and look over the menu a bit. Once she takes our orders, we sat for probably about 45 minutes until the waitress finally realized she forgot to put in our order. Yeah.... definitely not coming back. And as for previous TGI Fridays experiences with food, definitely a hit or miss.

Came here for lunch because I had a coupon for one free appetizer (up to $8) for registering my contact information on their website. Discovered that we were allowed to order any appetizer (including the $12 burger sliders that the bf was craving) and that we just needed to pay the difference if it exceeded $8. So we opted to get the burger sliders and also went for the 3-for-$12.99 deal, whereby we ordered: chips-n-spinach dip, chicken fiesta salad and a brownie w/ ice cream. Burger sliders were A-OK, chips-n-spinach dip were well-portioned and tasty, chicken fiesta salad was a NO-K (I need to stop ordering salads at joints like these), but luckily, the brownie w/ ice cream salvaged the rest of the meal. Total cost: $20 including tip. Can't complain about that, right? AND we had leftovers because we were full halfway through the meal. Our server was friendly and helpful, but the hostess was just abominable and wretched. I mean, seriously. Did she really have to try and seat us next to the bathroom and give us attitude when I said, "no"?? So overall, probably would never aim to eat here at anytime other than lunch... and especially not if I had to to pay everything in full price. Notice a trend in my reviews? Gotta get the most bang for your buck when it comes to food so that you can indulge in other luxuries! ;)

I enjoy their mixed drinks, especially their Jacobs Creek sangria. I'm not a big fan of their food, but if I have to eat, I usually get their crispy green beans, which are above average. This location is always packed since it's at the mall, and the service is always a hit or miss. They do have good happy hour specials that last until 9PM, so it's a decent place to go for a few drinks with your friends/coworkers once in awhile.

Probably will never eat at this place unless during happy hours. $4 margarita and 50% off of almost all the appetizers are pretty good deal. But of course, a great place to hang out with friends, just to drink and eat appetizers. It's decent. :)

It's a Friday's. We ordered the 3 for $12.99 and 2 for $10. I got the fried mozzarella, Parmesan crusted chicken, and the peanut butter cup cheesecake. Joy got the Jack Daniels pulled pork sandwich and the spinach artichoke flatbread. The food was ok ... It's Friday's.

Friday's is Fridays. Not a knock, but a good compliment. I wasn't blown away by the service. I for one am the type who likes to be bombarded by the server and not have to call them down. This didn't diminish my experience, but you like to be treated like a welcomed guest at all times. The food was good, A-OK

This place was great. I am from Florida and my wife and I went during Hurricane Sandy and while everyone else was closed my natural instict is to go out still. If you read my previous reviews on TGI Fridays you will see that I haven't had much luck with them but this place was amazing. Our waiter was right on the ball and was very nice. If this location wasnt too far away I would go more often.

Definitely a weak link in TGI's chain. Admittedly, they are probably usually busy given the mall/movie location but still they are sadly lacking in many ways: -Our wait staff, Carlos, was MIA for the first 10 mins. -We noticed the drinks had no prices on the menu (?!) so we asked the Maitre D. who also did not know the prices or reason behind not disclosing them. Carlos, finally arrived on the scene but he also does not know the prices except for one, "the most expensive cocktail is $10", helpful? Not. -The house salad is described as having red cabbage and arriving with a hot garlic breadstick. Neither made an appearance. We politely noted this to Carlos so he would not get dinged for the kitchen's mistakes but he seemed somewhat gormless at this stage. The half rack of ribs were delicious, fell off the bone and nice touch to have the sauce on the side to cater for different tastes. We did wait 45 mins for the food to arrive though, FYI. My 11-year old son asked for a refill of his Sprite but Carlos forgot. We had given up by this time. The restaurant was very quiet by this stage, so it not like he was overly busy. We did leave %15 tip as I always feel for wait staff. However, see below Overall my experience: the service was poor, food slow, response to issues raised lacked customer awareness, restaurant was too cold (I sat with my winter coat on. Guys it is November 20th already, can we get a little heating please?) and we ended up getting dessert somewhere else. I wish I could be more positive but this is my strong impression. Good luck. D

Being right across from the movie theater in Tyson's Corner was the reason we went here before seeing Kung Fu Panda (amaaaazing). The waitress (Heather) was super nice and friendly and attentive. I ordered the bistro steak salad which was good. I liked the dressing on it and it wasn't cream based so I didn't feel overwhelmed by it. The steak was eh but offered a good flavoring to the salad. I would have it again if I ever landed at TGI Friday's again. My bf had some pasta dish that was gross, I just don't love pasta and it tasted bland. We ordered the fried macaroni popper things as an appetizer which I felt clogging my arteries the second we placed the order. They are delicious though and sometimes you need something to completely offset the salad you order. The waitstaff wears these wrist things that place your order and also run your credit card. It made things faster and looked cool too. We joked with her that she just needed a printer around her ankle so she didn't have to go to the desk to get the credit card receipt. Perhaps TGI Friday's will make that investment next.

Went back here last night to meet for dinner. The hostess was still a little iffy- we walked up and she made us wait for a few minutes while she stared at a screen. The waiter was nice and whoever brought our food out (not our waiter) was polite and helpful: even picking up my friend's shoe when it fell off and tumbled into the walkway (personally, I was just gonna stretch my leg out, slide it over/kick it over... lol). Food was the usual, the sesame chicken strip appetizer was a lot larger than it normally is- I took half of it to go. What's new (and cool) about this place, is that they have PDAs that they take your order on now. Forget the ancient pen and pad technique- Fridays has entered the digital age! Servers walk around with a PDA on their wrist/belt that they can enter in your order- no more confusion or mix ups while they are going to the kitchen/register! When you want to pay, they can swipe your card right there- their PDA comes equipped with a place to swipe the card... They have to go pick up the receipt at the register to bring it back to you, but this keeps from someone walking off with your card and you having to get off and search for the missing server (as that tends to happens sometimes when it's busy). Music was a little loud, but their efficiency is much better now, making Fridays a better option.

I don't generally eat at places like TGIF. But the wife & I were starving @ the mall, and since Guy Fiery Douche Bag is promoting it we said WTF..? I had the Ahi Tuna Sliders... they had a decent sauce and after I added half a bottle of Tabasco it was then that much better. The sweet potato fries were good but needed to be crispy'er. The Little Lady had the Guy Fiery Chicken Jalapeno Popper Sandmich which said was to dry & didn't provide her with enough pepper heat. So she then proceeded to finish off what was left of the Tabasco .... I believe the waitress was mildly retarded as she struggled to take our order on her Palm Style tablet... The 22oz. Stella's were kewl .... We left with a slight buzz & matching bricks in our stomachs....

This is TGIFriday's, so you get exactly what you'd expect. I only ever go here if I want to grab a quick drink and app before a movie and the neighboring theater. Otherwise there are plenty of better options in Tysons.

Its a chain. Hit or miss on the service for sure, the food is consistantly good. (in my opinion) Pretty big, nice bar at this location and plenty of tvs. The hostesses are generally friendly, its pretty big inside so there is very rarely a wait on Friday and Saturday nights for a table. The bar tends to be pretty crowded but again, there is a lot of room. Its clean and decorated nice :) Your typical spinach dip, nacho, potato skin appetizers. (i left out a few) Burgers, salads, fajitas, random other sandwiches, etc. I recommend the Jack Daniels burger. I dont opt for their fries, they're wayyy too salty for me. Its a nice place for a night out or even lunch. I go here when im in a social mood, or if im at the mall already and want something to eat. This is one of the nicest TGIF's ive been too and i prefer it over Ruby Tuesdays FOR SURE.

This is the worst restaurant. I'm not exactly sure how they are still running. I went to grab dinner with a friend close to a month ago. It took the waitress 20 minutes to bring water. After we finally ordered, it was another 20 minutes until the food came out. The pretzel with cheese sauce was disgusting. The food was burned. Not sure how you can burn frozen pretzels. Seriously?! Then, we were ready for the check (this is 1.5 hours into our visit) and we ask her for the check. I don't know WHAT THE HECK this chick was doing. It was like she was attempting to multitask, but doing a horrible job doing so. She went back to the kitchen to get waters and food, went ALLL the way around the restaurant to come back to us 10 minutes later with the check. Then, she's closes 3 checks out and does it again! Even the table next to us went to find her to get their check. Service sucked, the waitress sucked. The food was terrible and way overpriced. By the way this was on a Tuesday. I can't imagine how they function on a weekend. Never ever ever again. And the best part is that I've left negative reviews everywhere and even tried to contact fridays 3 times, no response. Good job management. I'm sure you all will be like bennigan's and won't be open for much longer. Learn to get some helpful staff and not charge $15 for a mixed drink, and then maybe you'll get less trashy and older then 21-year-olds or younger than 50-year-olds in your establishment. Awful.

BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!!!!!! Need I say more? Probably not, but of course I will. This place sucks. I mean, it sucks with a capital SUCK. Seriously, I had frequented many TGIF's back in my day...when I was about 19, in college, earned only a measly $150/month stipend, and great beer was nicknamed "the beast". Fried cheese, fried green beans, over-sauced ribs, smoke, domestics on tap, and a loud, Loud, LOUD atmosphere is what greets you at this place. It's so loud you end up leaving the bar hoarse after a "happy" hour. I'll pass - besides, the throng of noisy teenagers all bippety bopping after a day at school where they learned nothing of substance (ask them who John Adams was and most can't tell you) are enough to keep me at bay. To quote one of my lower key friends, "meh."

They took away the happy hour 1/2 priced appetizers and cheap drinks... :( :( But our waiter at this very location.. funny looking character but very cool, provided awesome service. I was unhappy with my pink punk ? drink... it comes with pink cotton candy... I didn't complain either.. he just saw I hadn't drunk much of it and offered to replace it with another drink of my choice.. I took him up on it and finally I was a happy customer.. very happy drunky customer :) Any good waiter I guess knows how to get a good tip with a couple... make the girl happy lol. But on another bright side... instead of happy hour prices they got 3 courses $12.99... my boyfriend and I split it and left very full... the cheesecake dessert heaven.... the sizzling chicken heavy! appetizers.. what we were accustomed to and happily welcomed back haha... In sum, I'm very happy we came in even after hearing 'happy hour' has been kaputt. But it loses a star for taking that away from us. We will try again and update.

99% of my visits here are at the bar or the bar tables. So my review is strictly for the bar area. I hate to admit that I do enjoy coming here from time to time for guilty bar appetizers (i.e. potato skins and wings) and great HH prices. Service has been fine too. No complaints here-- I rikes.

  • Paul Y.

Always come here for the appetizers! My recent visit had the endless appetizers for $10(Unlimited appetizer of one choice) which was awesome. I hope they keep that coming. Other than that, the only reason why I have that 4 star is because on my multiple visits, I would either get my main dish or appetizers warm, and not hot... I understand if it's busy, but at least don't let the dish get get cold. Otherwise a great location especially if you need to sober up at the movie theaters next door

Went here yesterday for lunch with my friend. My first time ever eating at a Friday's and the food was pretty decent for a restaurant located in a mall. I ordered the Fridays shrimp which was pretty good, but a little on the salty side. I decided to get a side of coleslaw because you only get fries, shrimp, and cocktail sauce, but clearly I made a mistake that had to be some of the worst coleslaw I've tasted, but that's IMO. All in all it was a decent first experience for me.

Came to this restaurant around 1230pm on a Tuesday for my brothers birthday. We decided to sit at the bar on an empty side with available sits. A couple came and sat on our side. When the bartender came back to the bar area he proceeds to take care of the couple first & walks pass us 3 times and never acknowledged us and made an effort to avoid eye contact with us. We got up and left!!! I would also like to mention that the bartender was Asian, the couple was White, and we are of course Black. I will never come back here! Totally unacceptable service or lack there of.

Come here for the game, stay for the ribs. I came during the world cup. I think England lost that game, oh well. Nevertheless, I was pleasantly surprised by Fridays. The ribs were skinny but cooked well. The accompanying spinach and rice were seasoned appropriately. What else could you ask for?

Tried to walk into a three-quarters full bar and was told by the man at the door that there was no seating available, despite the four or five clearly empty stools. When he put his hand out to block us we said "ok, how about one of those empty tables?" There were five at the front, I counted them to him. He still refused to let us in. Rude service like that? I certainly won't be returning.

Ordered the 3 combo app - Mozz sticks, wings, and pretzels. Decent pretzels, beware there's no salt on the pretzels and sode cheese was filled with crap- bacon and green onions. Moz sticks were cold, took 12 minutes for new fresh ones ( which did not have the parm cheese on them) wings were decent. Ordered the berry sangria- just don't do it. 12 minutes for a beer. I just don't suggest going here. Please note- it is a Tuesday at 730pm, so it is not busy at all at the restaurant.

Hit or miss depends on which server or bartender you get you may have a better or poor experience. The food is Fridays food so we don't have very high expectations for it what makes the difference is the service again that is a hit or miss. We frequent this place because we live close and its conveniently located by the movie theatre in the mall.

I LOVE the happy hour every day special they have. We are here right before a movie that we had 30 min for and the food was ordered and brought out to us in a relatively quick manner. The food was delicious too but TGIF has always been on the pricier side for me so I wasn't particularly impressed with the food prices, however, the HAPPY HOUR is the way to go, although it's always happy hour there.

I love their waiters/waitresses. They are friendly, efficient, and informative. Seating and bar area is very spacious for strollers and babies. Food comes out great and fast even though it's busy there usually. Little things: they have blueberry iced tea which is scarce at places. :)

I don't always go to Tysons Corner, but when I do... well, I've been to this T.G.I. Friday's location twice, and both times everything was spot-on. No waiting, excellent service, and food that exactly hit the spot. Both times were for a somewhat late lunch - the first time I went with my wife, the second time we brought her parents. Both times I had the chicken fingers and my wife had a burger. Her parents split a rack of baby back ribs (I had a rib or two, and those were also great). As it happens, there is another T.G.I. Friday's a few blocks from where I live, which is awful compared to this one, and it surprising to find such a contrast between two franchises of the same business, but the one in Tysons Corner is clean, well kept, and obviously well run. If I had any complaint at all it would be the number of children running around and getting underfoot, but that's not really something an open-sided restaurant can control in a mall with its own choo-choo train.

The hostess is terrible here, the two Spanish girls need to be first. don't know their name but they weren't even doing their job. The place was not busy, those two just stood their did not even acknowledge me and my friend until i came up to them to ask for a table. Really bad service! That already killed the mood for the entire night. I wouldn't tell any of my friends to come back to this TGIF. Our waitress was good though, did her job and was very friendly. Food was made properly but didn't have any taste on my shirlon steak that I had. I was recommended by a friend that TGIF has good steak but I tried it, did not taste anything good about it.

This place is kind of a mixed bag. I came and was immediately seated which was nice. The not so nice part was that I waited twenty minutes. Not a single waiter or server came. The place wasn't unusually busy. There were a fair amount of people for a 4:00pm on a Monday. After 20 minutes one of the guys came and asked me for my drink and apologized since he saw I was visibly irritated and he knew that no one had came. I waited another ten minutes then left. I went to the bar instead and the bartender was really nice. She got my food order put in fast and was very polite. However I asked for a medium ribeye and got a well done one. I also asked for Mac and cheese and got mashed potatoes instead. I guess the effort was nice but I don't think I'll be coming again.

Just got done with HH at TGIF. Drinks were great however the food sucked. We ordered the flatbread the sliders, buffalo boneless chicken wings and mozzarella sticks. The flatbread was soggy and gross. Everything didn't seem fresh. It tasted as if it was all frozen and they just heated it in the microwave. Never eating here again.

Went for an early dinner. 1. The hostess at the front awkwardly decided to address the guest behind us before addressing us. Thanks.. 2. We were given a buzzer, but it almost immediately went off. I guess it's part of their protocol, but a bit unnecessary when there is clearly no line. 3. Service was very slow. 4. The other things are forgiveable because I don't care too much (it definitely doesn't help though), but to top it off, my burger, the very food (not the service) I came here to enjoy, came with a meager amount of innards (e.g. cheese, guac, jalapenos and whatever else was supposed to be in there). When I go out to eat, I want to at least be able to enjoy my food and think I got what I paid for.. The fries were fairly tasty, but a bit undercooked. I guess they were nice by offering freebies, but that won't give me back my time or dignity. Good thing you can sit on the outskirts where you can stare at people walking by, or they can stare at you like an animal in a pen.

Ordered an app for the unlimited app thing and couldn't finish the last of my food and couldn't take it home. The manger said he'd rather throw it away than to give me a box. And tried to explain how a buffet works like I was stupid. Bar was so fast though. Sike no I lied that was super slow. Food was slow bar was slow, never taking my date there again. Thanks Friday's for wasting my money.

Have been here a few times and each time has been a delight. The service is great and the food has been correct each time, which in this day and age is a rarity. One nice thing is it is right next door to the AMC theater at Tysons do a perfect place to get a pre/it's movie beverage or snack. Will come back for sure. Also a decent selection of beers and ciders on tap, have never been dissapointed.

I think Friday's has gone through a bit of a rebrand! It's admittedly been a while since I've been a patron, but I gotta say I'm pretty impressed with all the new bells and whistles I saw this recent time when dining. They've redone the interior so it's pretty chic and slick looking now, with lots of mirrors and art on the walls, and fancy new hardcover menus. Aside from a bit of a weird thing where they seemed to run out of pagers and had to take down my phone number while we were waiting for a table, everything else on my recent visit to Friday's went swimmingly. Our server was very attentive (actually, every employee was like, crazy friendly!), my French Dip sammy was delicious, and overall I really have no complaints! I know it's a chain and all that, but hey, credit where credit's due. They're clearly making some changes and I think they're working for 'em! I definitely recommend the French Dip sandwich, as well as the green bean fries as an appetizer. They're my faaaavorite. This location gets really crowded on big movie nights, and when there are popular sports games on, but if you're looking to do the whole dinner-and-a-movie thing at Tysons, you can't beat the location!

A small group of us went out last night for a last resort attempt at celebrating St. Patrick's Day. All we wanted was green beer!!!!!! But we were in the area and decided Friday's at 930PM would be a great idea. We were wrong. First of all, our waitress was just awful. Maybe she had a long day, but we were taken aback at how rude and standoffish she was being, as if we had gotten on her nerves by our presence alone. Like what!? We just sat down! Anyways! The food was super meh.The bruschetta and our BBQ chicken flatbread were good, but OMFG, the fried potato skins were disgusting. They were over-fried, basically rock hard, and terribly disappointing. Just poking it with your fork made your plate a pool of oil. *cringe* We came to celebrate for St. Patrick's Day, so we asked our waitress for round 2 to include green beers if possible. When she came back with regular colored beers, we asked her if she even remembered we wanted green since she didn't even say anything about them. "Oh no, they don't have them anymore, sorry." she said in the driest tone ever. We were so over her. We tried the best we could, with the kindness of our hearts to understand why she was being SUCH an uber B. Maybe she thought since we were being loud and rambunctious we wouldn't tip? She was soooo wrong about that at first but her wretched attitude definitely made her right in the end. We all agreed that we had NEVER experienced any sort of nasty attitude from anyone who works at Friday's until last night. WTF.

Wow, this place is getting no love here. I used to be a regular happy hour goer but since my move I havn't set foot inside. I used to love coming here every single day during the week to just kick back and enjoy 1 or 2 happy hour deal drinks.. ok.. maybe like 5 or 6 =) The bartenders were the best part. Everyone was so nice and friendly, they made my drinks with extra love. I don't know if they still do it but on Thursdays a DJ comes in and holds it down. Definitely a good spot if you're just trying to kill time or just getting off of work and want to enjoy a cool drink made with extra lovvvvee ;)

I only write reviews if I feel like I have had an above or below average experience. This was not an above average experience. Came, sat at the bar and was served by a pleasant man. During my time, i struck up a friendly conversation with the guy next to me. Each time you order, the bartender gives you a receipt of what you received. I checked my tab before ordering another drink with a a blonde girl. When I finished I got my check. I guess this is where I was at fault? Since I had seen my check before and only ordered one more drink, I didn't feel the need to look at my receipt again. Unbeknownst to my knowledge someone at Friday's decided to combine my check with the guy next to me??? She came back saying she could only charge a certain amount on my card and I owed her 11.00. Confused, I asked why my tab was over 40.00 in the first place. After her mistake, she still felt the need to insist that the fault was mine asking for my check, though for some reason she had inferred I was paying for the man next to me. (I guess you can't have a friendly conversation with the man next you without someone inferring that one person is going to be paying for your meal.) my stay honestly left a sour taste in my mouth. Yes this is Friday's, I should not be expecting stellar service, but being that the girl was barely into her shift couldn't she tone down a bit with the attitude until later in the evening?

Food: On point and just what one would expect from a sit-down. I've ordered wings, flat breads, and burgers here and they were all great. No complaints at all. Service: The ONLY reason I gave this place 3 stars. My friends and I come here to take advantage of the amazing happy hour deals. Of the five times I have been here, I have never gotten a drink in under five minutes, food has taken at least ten minutes, and waiters/waitresses have checked our table MAYBE every ten minutes. And after asking for our check, we have to wait another 30 minutes. If wait times can be reduced, I would definitely give five stars for the pricing and quality of food. Environment: If a sports bar had a baby with a large open sit-down restaurant, this place would be the result.

I haven't been to this Fridays in about over a year and will not return. First of all my girlfriend and I wern't greeted at the door, so we just walked to the bar area and sat down on the high table tops. After waiting about 5 min, a server comes and tells us in a rude manner that we can't sit here because there is a wait. So we get off and go to the bar and since there wern't 2 seats available, I have my gf sit and I stood. The bartender comes and tell him our drink specials and then I tell him that I will have the bbq chicken flatfread and potatoe skins for my gf. 10 min pass by and my parents arrive and order food and drinks. 10 more min pass and the potatoe skins arrive, along with my parents food. The bartender never put my order in when that was the first order I gave him. I didnt want to make a big deal because our movie was starting in 10 min. Nobody, not even the manager seemed to be sorry about what happened. Worst service I've ever seen at a Fridays!

So we have tried going here twice before and every time was a miserable experience. (Below is a recounting of our second visit). However, we did decide to give it a try one last time to grab drinks and appetizers and boy was the third time a charm! Instead of sitting in the dining area like we had previously, we sat at a table in the bar area and were immediately greeted. Our server was Patrick and he was phenomenal. He helped suggest drinks and what appetizers would match which drinks. He also made sure we had enough sauces and all of our special modifications were brought out perfectly. Even though the restaurant was very slow, instead of just standing around, Patrick was very engaging with us. And once we had a couple other tables, he still treated us exactly the same as he had when we were his only table. Absolutely some of the best service we have received in awhile. We definitely plan on being back (at least to the bar area). We wish there were more servers like Patrick everywhere! It's amazing how much of a difference an engaging server makes in a dining experience. "Our server did not speak English, I was brought a pasta with no sauce and the manager even stated that it came without sauce, although the menu explicitly described the sauce. Then the manager was very unprofessional and blamed it on other employees instead of simply resolving the issue. He also took my plate before giving me a chance to voice my issue. Took 10 minutes for us to be greeted after we were seated, 20 minutes for our food (pasta and chicken tenders), and another 10 minutes for someone to return to our table while my naked pasta sat there. Another 20 minutes to recook a pasta. Worst dining experience I've ever had. It was not all the server's fault; I place more of the blame on the Manager, KC Wang, for not being professional. It was very clear to us (fellow servers and managers) that this restaurant has terrible service and dining experience because it is led by an unprofessional manager. Furthermore, this was not the first time we had tried eating here. The first time we sat for 15 minutes before being greeted by our server and when she finally arrived we got up and left because we waited so long and she rolled her eyes to us, saying "fine whatever snots". If you want a dining experience anywhere near enjoyable, this would not be the place."

Get Hannah or Fred as your bartender/server and you will have a completely different experience than your typical Fridays. These two are the best! Have been here a couple hundred times - literally. Typical Friday's fare, but good place to grab a drink before a movie/after shopping. Great burgers, apps and cheap drink prices!

As far as fridays goes this is the best one I have been to Raj and Mario awesome bartenders the drinks are affordable for this area and they always seem to be busy.

I've been here a few times and my experiences are alright. I enjoy coming to the bar for happy hour. However sitting down at one of the tables is another story. Last two times I've been here the host and server forget to bring us utensils, even after serving us the food! The service is a bit slow and it would be nice to be served immediately. I might come again happy hour experience but think twice about coming for just food.

Living across the street combined with a kitchen that stays open longer then most places, Fridays use to be mine and my husbands go to place. About a year ago we took a break from coming here after a few bad experiences from food to service. Fast forward to this evening, rumors of a face lift and new appetizer menu we decided we'd give it another go. We sat in the bar area and was greeted right away. Our server was Stephanie, who was attentive and friendly. She checked on us frequently and kept our drinks full!! We ordered the pick 3 appetizers, which are small plates. This additional to the menu we loved! We choose the thai pork tacos, parmesan meatballs, and hibachi chicken skewers. When they came out the size looked a bit deceiving. However, don't let the size fool you, all 3 plates were full of flavor and a perfect start for two people. For our entree we decided to reminisce and go with the good old Signature Jack Daniels burger, which was better then we remembered it! All and all, I don't think we're going to remain strangers from Friday's any longer. From great service to a tasteful menu, it's a great redirection! Thank you, we'll be back!

This TGIFridays is always packed especially during game time. My fiance came here for dinner tonight. The wait time for the table was only 20 minutes (surprisingly for a Saturday evening). We ordered a full rack of Jack Daniels ribs and the 3 for $15 sharable appetizers. We went with the parmesan meatballs which I highly recommend. We also ordered the ahi tuna which should be skipped! There's so much sauce and guac on it that you can barely taste the tuna. And we ordered the Thai tacos that were pretty good. As for service... Our server was quite busy watching the game today that he wasn't around to give us refills. He basically took our order... Brought us our food and brought us our check. Eh.

One of a very few places that stay open late in the areas. Better then chics n wings by far. In Tysons late night it's the place to go for a few drinks .

This is one of those places that without booze would be no fun at all. Luckily, the bartenders are super friendly and keep the booze flowing. The food is pretty much what you'd expect. I consider TGIF to be at the top end of the casual dining chain restaurants (Chili's, Applebees, etc.) and this location is no exception. Do the MAc & Cheese bites from the Taste & Share menu-you'll be soooo glad you did. TGIF seems to have reinvented themselves pretty successfully as a pretty happening bar scene. The bartenders throw bottles in the air and make some STRONG drinks. Do the Blackberry Long Island and the Patron Cosmo Rita Shaker. Both are awesome. It is in the mall food court right near the movie theater so it stays BUSY.

I was a regular customer for the past 3 years, but I think the service has gotten worse. The newer wait staff needs more training. One waiter doesn't write our order down and gets everything wrong... TWICE. One waiter said we couldn't choose an alternate side for a dish that we always get and got mad when we asked for the manager. The manager is cool and tries to accommodate your needs. One of the hostesses doesn't smile... although I've seen her smile at a group of guys. This place feels like it's full of workers who don't want to work. Can't say anything about the bar because I usually sit at the tables with my family.

Do not recommend this restaurant, especially for a group larger than 3. Brought a work group to the restaurant; never again. First round of drinks took 30+ minutes, and there was no second round because they never asked. Went to the bar to ask there, but was turned away because we had a table yet not a table with service. Also, beware of the NOT SO endless appetizers. Got the first round and was never even asked if another round of "endless appetizers" was needed before the check was brought. Worst part is, the first round was cold. Horrible service, will never go back.

This place is way too loud and the drinks are mixed really weak. I really only ever would go there when my friends want to.

I would like to start by saying that the service wasn't horribly awful, it just looked like the waitress didn't really care too much about the service, and the hamburgers are decent... But the reason I'm giving a 2 stars review is because of those salads... They were awful to say the least... Honestly how can you get a salad wrong when even Wendy's' taste better? First the chicken in the pecan chicken salad will haunt my dreams forever. It was one of the worst things I have EVER tasted, it had a horrible taste, like expired horrible... The crust had a foul smell like rancid oil, and it was almost raw... You can tell it was from a bag and they just heated it up for a few minutes... I don't understand how this is possible when the food took forever to arrive?! The chicken inside, if you can call that chicken... Was mushy and it just makes me sick thinking about it, I just pray to God that I'm soon able to forget about it. I thought I would just ask for another chicken but my mom also asked for the same and her chicken was exactly like this as well, BAD! to the point where chicken nuggets are a gourmet delicacy compared to that... The lettuce was old with more black spots than a Dalmatian, and even though the waitress would asked us of the food was alright, she wouldn't even stick around long enough for us to tell her and didn't even get the hint even after we took all the breading off from the chicken and left it on the side of the plate. This was honestly a really unsatisfying and bad experience. I remember when a was a kid, they had to give me this orange flavored medicine and the flavor was so bad, I hated oranges until I was an adult. I just hope the same doesn't happen now with pecans because of this sad excuse of "pecan chicken" salad. And I humbly appeal to the hearts of these people to not feed this type of food to their customers anymore.

This is by far the worst TGI Fridays I've ever been to. My glass is sangria was only filled halfway and was WAY overpriced. $10 for half a glass of peach juice posing as sangria is ridiculous. My husband's steak and lobster were not only tiny, but cold. My pot stickers were either overcooked or freezer burnt, but pot stickers are NOT supposed to be crunchy. We will never be returning to this restaurant again.

I'm a regular here at the bar. I mainly come here because if the happy hour prices and the convenience. All the bartenders are awesome and I enjoy coming here to watch the games with coworkers and friends.

Wishy-washy service. The first mojito was all simple syrup and filler. The second and third were better when we asked for less simple. For the last two I ordered strawberry mojitos and got strawberries on the side both times. Where did you learn to bartend?

My wife, adult daughter and I visited TGIFriday's and had a wonderful meal. Our server, Marco, was particularly attentive and make sure our drinks were always full. I thought the ribs were meaty enough, and very flavorful. My wif'e's salad was meal-sized and she split it with me in return for a few of my ribs. The lettuce was cool and crisp, and Marco brought us two different salad dressings when he saw that we were sharing the salad. We finished the meal with a shared ice cream dessert (cookies and cream) which was a little small but just perfect to end the meal. The next time we're at Tyson's Mall we'll look forward to returning.

2 Stars because my boyfriend had a good experience a few weeks back but together we had a pretty bad one. Our theory is that all the 4-5 stars reviews on here is based on their busy days Friday, Saturday, possibly Sunday? And the people with bad experience are the ones coming in early weekdays. When my boyfriend went with his friends on a Friday his steak was great, service was good and overall was pleased when he got home. We went together with a friend a month later on a Monday and didn't feel the same way. Our waitress was a little off, when she ID me she said Happy Birthday after seeing my birth date but my birthday was a couple months ago. I even double checked my ID because I thought maybe I somehow took someone else. Afterwards she disappeared and didn't show up until after we got a food, which took about 35 minutes to get there. When our food did get there the steak wan't medium rare but well done. It was also extremely thin, not at all like the one my boyfriend ordered a month back, and the sides were warm/ near cool. My friends dish and mine were similar, lukewarm and lacking of something. Our friend didn't have any utensil because the waitress only gave us 2. We did try to flag her down but she was no where to be found so we just stole one from an empty table near us. The table behind us seemed frustrated with our waitress too and left in a hurry. We left without dessert because we had a movie to catch and I didn't know when we would see our waitress again. We're planing to try again on a Friday and test our theory.

Service was OK, food was mediocre. Typical T.G.I Friday's right here. Only thing that really is good about it is it's conveniently located in the mall.

I recent had the opportunity to dine here for dinner. The place was pretty packed but there wasn't a wait for dinner. The server provided good service and the meal was pretty good. My "partner in crime" tried the Warm Pretzels with Craft Beer-Cheese Dipping Sauce and Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Pasta without complaints. I enjoyed the Sizzling Chicken & Cheese. For dessert we tried the Whiskey Cake, which a new item on the menu. It was very, very good! Overall it was a good experience and I would consider returning.

Went here 8/10/14 with two friends. Two of us got the sizzling chicken and shrimp while the other got Friday's Shrimp. The chicken was sub-par but the shrimp was SO terrible and possibly so old that it caused my friend and i to get really bad stomach aches which eventually caused my friend to go see the doctor because his stomach was hurting so bad into the next day. Never coming back. One of the worst food experiences of my life.

I would put no stars as a review if I could. It took 15 minutes to get a drink order, the food was brought out and wasn't completely cooked. It took another 15 minutes to get another drink. Then as I'm halfway through my meal, he brings me the check. I'll never come back to this or any other TGI Fridays.

Every time I come here, it seems like it gets worse and worse. True, it's a convenient place to eat before/after a movie, but I'd recommend you take your money elsewhere. The last time I was here. I would have to emphasize the LAST time I was here, our server was outright rude, the food service was slow, and the food was incredibly bad - imagine a school cafeteria lunch bad for adults. I don't know how else to portray our server except maybe an ex-junkie, maybe even a current junkie. At times, he would talk about how "busy" he was, and I couldn't see any other tables he was servicing. He couldn't remember to bring us anything - to include drinks, straws, utensils. He also gave us major attitude about splitting up the check, and yet while we were writing our tips, he was all "apologetic" about how many tables he had to serve and he made many excuses for his horrible behaviour. All the food I had was too salty/msg-laden sweet. I think I had the salmon teriyaki kabobs. I'm trying not to remember it. Even my lemonade tasted nasty. Seriously, they couldn't even get the water/condensed syrup mixture right. Never again. I'd rather pay and eat movie theatre food.

Three words: Too. Much. Salt. Ordered the grilled chicken skewers with broccoli and the only discernable taste was salt. The kids meals were drenched in too much salt too. Come on Fridays....cut down on the salt and people might actually enjoy the food.

I came by with some co workers for after work drink(s). Sat at the bar and dealt with my very first bartender that just made me want to not drink and to just go home. He was beyond rude and did not want to tend to the bar at all! We did not get a hello, hey, hi, whats up, or anything! After waiting 15 minutes, the bartender gave us a menu and just stared at us. Rude Bartender: *stares* Me: Margarita please Rude Bartender: *bulges eyes* Me: on the rocks? salt? heres my id? Rude Bartender: *hands a watered down lime juice cocktail* My friend ordered one of their special margaritas- a tiny bit better than my margarita. My other friend asked him which margarita is the strongest and he replied, "JUST GIVE ME YOUR ID MAN!" Literally yelled this at us. At this moment, I just really wanted to get up and leave. MIND you that we all are in the service industry and as a server, I do expect you to be polite to say the least. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE. Also, there are no late night drink specials like the other Friday's I have been to.

4 Stars for the Sports BAR scene! On June 2, 2012, TGIF bar patrons and I witnessed the OKC THUNDER beating the San Antonio Spurs in game 4 of the NBA Western Conference finals! The bar crowd was pro-Thunder as blue and white and gold yellow gear was all over! OKC chants were heard as KD (Kevin Durant) scored 16 straight points in the 4th quarter. There were plenty of TVs and game sound in the bar; however, one of the bigger TVs needs to be replaced ASAP! Thunder blue was displayed as a Teal color! Fortunately I focused my attention on another TV with the correct color. Thunder up!

I think that TGIFriday can have very different experiences based on what you order. At this location we ordered a salmon dish and the nacho and queso dip. The dip came out in a cast iron skillet and was a very good dip and the chips were nice and fresh. The salmon was really tasty and the service was decent.

Hmmmm...It was really hard for me to decide between 2 or 3 stars...came here with a large group of 20+ people. Totally understand that this is a chaotic number of people to accommodate and seat together. When we arrived, they had 3 tables put together in the middle of the dining area towards the back and they kept adding, moving, shifting the tables and US as more of our party started arriving. The manager, it seems like, tried explaining to us how we can't block the walkway due to fire hazard blah blah blah... So...everyone arrived, our waitress started off with a great job taking everyone's order...hence everyone had a separate tab! Then...kinda went downhill from there. Drinks took way too long..when she came around to order, she didn't bother asking one of our guest for her order(which she didn't mind bc she kind of stuffed herself with the appetizers that came out way to late too), food took way too long (my son at this point is telling me for the millionth time how hungry he is), food was not that great(everything tasted it was cooked with the same sauce..way too sweet), after dinner no one bothered to ask for us for dessert(took our plates away and started collecting our payments)...so at the end, kinda felt like we were being rushed out...urgh I hate that feeling at restaurants! Will I go there again? Probably most likely not...
