Awesome ice cream! Great flavors, well made ice cream and great service! Came here for the first time with my hubby and such a happy clam afterwards! Hubby ordered a waffle cone with white turtle (which had gobs of caramel), chocolate almond coconut ice cream, and black raspberry. I had a waffle cone with Oreo ice cream and New York cheesecake. My hubby and I agreed I had the best flavors. (Hey, I am the foodie!) But my husband's flavors were delish as well, especially the black raspberry. My New York cheesecake tasted wonderful and had gobs of pie crust, which was delish! My Oreo ice cream had huge chunks of Oreo in it. I would come across like half a cookie in a bite, which was amazing. I don't know if Bruster's make the ice cream themselves, but I'm impressed with the quality. Their staff are nice and helpful. Our clerk gave us some free samples, which totally helped us make a decision. Their menu is legible and easy to read. Just a note- they're no longer serving Oreo ice cream sandwiches individually. It sounds like they're only making them if you order more than 1. But it looks like you can ask for any flavor ice cream as the filling. They also have frozen yogurt, smoothies, and Italian ices in case you're in the mood for something sweet but not entirely ice cream. Final Answer Great flavors, great quality, and nice service. Definite must try!

Good pit stop to get your ice cream fix. I prefer this place a little more than Klines because 1. It's closer to my house and 2. You get to personalize your dessert. There are a ton of options as well and outdoor seating!

I loved this place. One regret of moving out of state is not having another one anywhere nearby. Everything I ever had was good to great. 5 days before I left town for last time I got a regular waffle cone, didn't know that meant 3 scoops of ice cream. But 3 scoops of Key Lime Pie ice cream was worth the surprise to say the least, it's my favorite flavor other than butter brickel.

A local recommended Bruster's ice cream and we suggest you go there too. They have about 20 ice creams and a handful of other frozen treats like sorbet, yogurt and Italian ice. We had three flavors - cake batter, chocolate Oreo and Carmel crackle - which were excellent. Also saw ice cream cakes, sundaes and milk shakes on the menu. You are bound to find something that appeals to you at Bruster's.

Guess I'm going to be the one who gives this place a three star review. I'll try to keep it simple. I ordered the smallest cup of chocolate cake batter ice cream. Half of it was melted. Cool. My husband ordered some type of sundae (looked like a sundae) that was supposed to have snickers pieces mixed in with vanilla ice cream, brownie, caramel and topped with whipped cream. They sure went heavy on the whipped cream he said. Meaning there was more whipped cream than anything else. He said the brownie tasted old and he just didn't like his dish. As for mine it was simple. Chocolate cake batter ice cream that would have been good if half of it wasn't melted. Can't say I will ever come back to this place or any of their other locations, especially when I know better ice cream exists out there. BTW service was friendly enough.

Haven't had a bad cream in the 3 times I've been. Wouldn't recommend the split, all kinda gets piled together to creat a banana split mush. Friendly staff. Do not understand the menu though. Not organized to explain the options under each item, but the staff is always willing to answer your questions with a smile.

Fabulous ice cream! Well worth the trip from the Massanutten Resort. Peanut butter sundae, M&M Blast, chocolate Oreo ice cream and cheesecake ice cream were all enjoyed by my family. Ice cream is very creamy. They had probably 20 flavors to choose from. No indoor seating, which wasn't a problem for us as the weather was great. Very reasonable prices!
