Visiting Danville from DC over the holidays and we wanted to try a new place with my in-laws. Breakfast all day is a great option and cooked to order. All good tastes like from scratch; sausage gravy is outstanding. My father-in-law chose the hamburger steak with gravy and 2 sides. All very yummy. Service is attentive and friendly. Refills on drinks plentiful and prompt. It's great to have a new yummy place that is not a chain restaurant to go to when visiting Danville. My only fear is that by the next time we come back there will probably be a wait.....it's THAT good!!!

Once again, Yelp did not steer me wrong! Was driving through town about lunch time and needed someplace inexpensive and good. This is just outside the city limits on Hwy 58 and easy to find with GPS. OK, seriously, $1.99 for a delicious fluffy and crispy waffle. Yum! Also had the house made corned beef hash with two eggs and loaded hash browns for just under $6.00. Breakfast for two of us with coffee just over $15.00. We could have done it even cheaper, but we were really hungry. It's a cute place in a tiny strip that doesn't seem to have much going on but it. When we first pulled up there was just a few cars, but the tables filled up quickly with locals, many who were talking across tables to each other. Friendly staff, super clean, lots of food choices, including meat and veggie of the day. They serve breakfast all day too! We'll definitely return next time we come this way.

We have eaten here several times and the food is so yummy and the service is wonderful. As soon as you come in you're greeted and the wait staff stay on top of everything! Highly recommend if your looking for some good home cooking like mama!

What ever your in the mood for the Westside Diner has you taste bud covered & guaranted to have your stomach full. Do you like having breakfast any time of the day, well they have you covered from a simple breakfast biscuit sandwiches, omelets, to full platters with choices of eggs, pancakes, waffles & a wide variety meats. Looking for a simple burger or hotdog & fries, they have you covered there too. Maybe it a full meal your looking for, go for the meal platters with a choice of two sides. One of my favorites that they offer as a daily special is the chicken livers that are made to order & are some on the most tender & flavorful I have ever had. They are open on Tuesday thru Sunday, and offer 4 to 5 daily specials & be sure if you want one of the specials to get your order in, as one night in an hour while we were there we heard them sellout of three specials for the day.

I'm picky. It isn't fancy but consistently good. It's affordable and the service is great. I wish they used real butter and could make better grits.
