This place is a great find! Bookmark it and try it out. Pork Bellies is a fairly new establishment located right on the Virginia Creeper Trail in Damascus, VA. They smoke their meats on-premise and their sauce varieties are house made. The care and pride they take in the preparation of their food is clearly evident. I've had the smoked chicken basket with the hot smoky sauce and it was done to perfection. Others in my party had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich and the spare ribs. All of them reported that they were very pleased with the portion, taste and sides that accompanied the dish. All of their products look to be house made rather than "off the truck" as so many places are now days. They serve beer and are in a great location to pop in after a days ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail. They offer dining on the deck in back overlooking the Laurel Creek. Lunch and dinner hours, daily specials. The price is extremely reasonable and the food is excellent! Service was very good. You need to try this place out.
