It's really hard to find a decent Indian restaurant that suit my taste. I only found one here in Utah before I came to Bombay House. This is huge to me because it means my searching days are finally over!! The interior design is really exotic, but unlike any other Indian restaurants I've been to, it is more classy and modernistic. When I first saw the reception area, I thought I walked into a spa and was about to have a massage. That area really made me feel relax and happy, not sure why. The massage, wait no, the food, FOOD (I've to keep this in mind). The food was good. I've got Mango Lassi, Garlic Naan, Regular Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Briyani. Mango Lassi- Really good! Tasted like the mango ice cream my grandma used to buy me when I was little. It has a strong yogurt taste. If you are a yogurt lover or mango lover ( I happened to be both), I recommend you to try this. Garlic Naan- Finally, I found a garlic naan that actually has a garlic flavor in it. Those I've tried before tasted just like regular naan but charged more than the regular one. This one, worth the money. Chicken Tikka- OMG! Search bomb.com and this will pop up. The chicken was tender even though they almost had a full house that night. I don't know how they managed to do it. The sauce was incredible. I even asked for a box just to take the sauce away with me. That's how good it is! Lamb Briyani- My friend thinks it was kind of flavorless at first cause he is a strong-flavor kind of person. I think it had enough flavor. So I told him to took another bite. He agreed with me that it was flavorful after taking a few more bites. Overall, the interior was nice, the service was acceptable consider they almost had a full house that night, and the food was amazing. Definitely coming back for the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lassi!

We ordered 8 different items from the menu and food came out way to fast, in fact it tasted like it was all pre-made with just adding the meat and heated up. The butter chicken and chicken tikka were barely warm. Service was great as they were very attentive and on the ball. Unfortunately the food was just average at best. Not sure I want to come back and pay a lot for mediocre food.

I live in the bay area (California) so I'm really picky about Indian food when I go elsewhere outside of the bay area. The bay area does Indian food so well that I'm spoiled! I ordered the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and regular naan. I like a little bit of spice in my food, but not too overpowering. When I asked my waiter if he suggested the mild or medium spice, he said medium was pretty spicy but that mild isn't spicy. He suggested something in the middle. When I got the chicken tikka masala, it didn't have any spiciness at all. Regardless, the flavor was still delicious. I'll just have to make sure I request for medium spicy the next time I am back. The regular naan worked well with the chicken tikka masala. The garlic naan was better by itself since you can really taste the garlic flavor. However, I ended up not really eating the garlic naan with the masala because I felt the garlic flavor changed the masala flavor and didn't really go well together.

The best Indian food I've ever had! I had the chicken coconut korma and a mango lassi, and my wife had the lamb vindaloo and chai. We both had garlic naan. We loved everything and will go back often.

This is my fave Indian restaurant , had no idea they had a location in this area sooo thankful they do. I had the Chicken Tikka masala and it was full of flavor with quality chicken(some places skimp or it's gristly, along with the fluffy rice and delish nann. The service was excellent from the waiter and the other servers...what more could a girl want!

Went with a group of 6 on busy Friday night, seated after an hour. All of us were very familiar with Indian cuisine (from other parts of the country) and we had high expectations. Decided to share a bunch of dishes since everything looked delicious. Appetizer: Vegetable Pakora - delicious, crispy, and very flavorful inside. comes with 4 but they accommodated our party with an order of 6. 4/5 Strawberry Lassi - not much needs to be said...it was great Entrees: Garlic Naan - soft, and two orders was barely enough to accommodate all of us 4/5 Chicken Tikka Masala (creamy coconutty), Chicken Makhani (Butter), Chicken Biryani - Chicken Tikka Masala is a standard dish that tasted great along with the Chicken Biryani, but the Chicken Makhani was tremendous. The sauce was so delicious that it paired well with any other dish, especially on the rice of Chicken Biryani, 3.5/5, 5/5, 4/5 Lamb Boti Kabob Tandoori Style - dish came out with a sizzle, with onions, peppers and large and numerous chunks of lamb. flavor of the spices of the veggies and lamb was excellent but personally, I wish the texture of the lamb was softer. 3.5/5 Shrimp Curry - didn't get to try as much of this as I had wanted, but shrimp was pretty good and the curry itself tasted great 3.5/5 Saag Paneer (spinach cooked in cheese, spieces) - One of my favorite dishes in Indian cuisine so I had to try it here, and it did not disappoint at all. A dish of spinach and cheese seems so simple but there was a complexity of flavors that made it my second favorite dish behind the Chicken Mahkani. 5/5 The only thing that could have made our meal and experience better at Bombay House would be if the food had come quicker. However, the place was absolutely packed, and I have no problem waiting a bit longer for what is some of the best Indian food I've had in the US. The spice level we got for all our dishes was "Hot", which has a kick but it enhanced the flavors, not overpowered. Our group came in with lofty expectations and left impressed. (Even more impressive since most of the group was Indian!). This is the place to go for quality dining experience of Indian cuisine in Salt Lake City and I will be back soon.

Everyone here is so fantastic and the food is always perfect. The owner is usually greeting you with a smile, ever server is friendly and on top of everything. They make fantastic suggestions and always treat you above and beyond. My son (2yo) loves the rice and vegetable coconut korma. I have had several different things off of the menu and have never been disappointed.

Amazing food even better service. I think this is my new favorite restaurant even for holidays and special occasions. Chicken Musala is by far the yummiest. And you can't go wrong with the garlic naan!

Food was amazing. Stuck to the fan favorites (chicken tikka masala & lamb vindaloo) and loved them. Service was great. And everyone was very friendly.

Love this place! What a surprise to walk into this gem located in a strip mall. Lamb Biriyani was wonderful- and chicken coconut kurma was heavenly on basmati. Service was perfect. We will be back!!

Short review. Very decent Indian food. When I lived in Utah this is the only Indian food place I ate at and it was always good. Recommended.

I hate to admit I'm in my 30s and I just tried Indian food for the first time, so being a Indian food virgin I thought Bombay house would be a great place to start.I had the chicken tiki massala with the garlic naan bread and I was in heaven, it had flavors I have only dreamed about till now. Portions are a plenty,I recommend getting a few things and sharing. Service is great as well , place is very charming!

  • Drew F.

Awesome atmosphere with a vibrant food selection. The food is more representative of northern traditional Indian food that Americans have grown to love. The spices were far from being watered down as one might suspect given the usual experience outside of a big city.

Although this place was good it was just not the same as The Bombay House on foothill. The food was good and the service was great. I feel like if I M going to pay that much for Indian food that I would rather make the drive to the one on foothill. It is worth going to and I'm not saying you shouldn't try it, especially if your trying Indian for the first time or have never had the other Bombay house. It's good but I'm a snob when it comes to Indian food!

  • Vinna E.

By far my favorite Indian restaurant in Utah. I usually get the chicken makhani and chicken tikka masala and it is so delicious! I highly recommend ordering the garlic naan with the curry or even eating it alone. The naan has so much flavor. The only negative thing I have to say about this place is the inconsistency of their spice level. Sometimes they get it right on and other times it's not spicy enough even when I order the highest level of spicy. It's always a hit and miss.

Super delicious indian food in Jordan Landing of all places. I was thrilled to learn this place existed, having moved to the west side and reallllllly missing my beloved Kathmandu. We had a great time at Bombay house. I had the saag paneer, my hubby had the chicken tikka masala and our buddies that came with had something else I can't remember. There were massive shrimp involved and it looked so yummy. I was a little bummed that the dinners didn't come with naan. I know not all places do, but our favorites include plain naan with the meal. Here it is $1.95 for plain and more for garlic and other varieties. It is a massive piece of naan, though! And very good. It is smallish and can get busy, so come early.

I should start by saying that i have never tried indian food, and with that said i really enjoyed this place. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and seated us immediately. Unfortunately i was in kind of a rush so i ended up ordering Chicken makhani to go. They gave me some soup on the house while I waited, which tasted odd at first but quickly grew on me. Once i recieved my meal I went home and began eating I was suprised how good this food was and will definitely be returning soon.

I ordered saag paneer and the plain naan- It was all fantastic! I will definitely be returning to Bombay House if I visit the Salt Lake area again.

The food here was amazing!! I've had pakistan food which was quite similar but this was so delicious! I wanted more of the coconut curry chicken and I wish I can learn how to make it. It's pricey, but definitely with it! Love the service and I really felt like I was in India eating food there. I would love to eat here every week !!

Love this place. We have always gone to the SLC location and we were excited that they opened one in West Jordan. We crossed our fingers that it would be as good as the original. Well...they did not disappoint!! They are just as awesome, yummy! For our appetizer we got their Chicken Pakora. I have had them look like little battered chicken wings before but these looked like chicken tenders, nevertheless they still tasted great. The dipping sauces of mint and tamarind are so dang yummy! This is the only reason why we order appetizers. For our main meals we got their Chicken Tandoori and the Paneer Masala. Yum. We love that the Tandoori comes sizzling on a skillet to our table, the smell is heavenly! The paneer masala is for those wanting to taste the vegetarian options. These are little cheese curd nuggets in masala sauce. Soooo good! The only thing that I would recommend would be if you like spicy food, order higher on the spicy scale than you would normally do. We have always felt like their sauce has never been spicy enough. Last time we ordered medium hot and my husband and I both felt that it was mild. I would recommend this place, it is clean, friendly and a fairly good price for Indian food. Good luck, and enjoy!

Went out to dinner with my dad and grandparents. We all shared our meals with each other and the best was the shrimp tikki marsala medium though my lamb curry medium was very good too. The garlic naan was also delicious. We went for an early dinner-around 4:30 on a monday- and the place was pretty empty. The service was very fast and attentive. After we finished eating and had paid and packed up the leftovers to take home we sat for a few minuets talking and they brought us mango ice cream on the house! So delicious! Cant wait to go back!

One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in Utah. The customer service here is great and of course their food. My friends and I stayed a little after closing and the servers continued to keep our cups full with water. No rush. I ordered the lamb boti kabob Marsala and it was amazing! Mmm! The vegetable samoas are great! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Reminds me a little bit of the potato balls at porto's bakery in Downy, CA. Garlic naan is always a must to get! I tried the Peshawari naan and it's my new favorite. I'm not really a big fan of sweets, but this is great!

I love bombay house. I am never disappointed with their food. My favorite order is the vegetable coconut kurma, garlic nann and the chicken tikka masala. And it makes for great leftovers!!!

One of my favorite places to dine. Never had more than a 10 minute wait, course I don't dine that late. Tried a couple of different dishes over the year and have always been satisfied with the portions and freshness. Chicken Mushroom is by far my favorite. Customer service has always been pleasant and engaging.

Every night is the best night for Bombay house. While having a slightly more sterile, strip mall atmosphere, this West Jordan location however maintains the exact same quality and value. In my adventures I've had a lot of Indian food and Bombay is consistently among the best. I personally prefer the Rogan Josh and have a hard time deviating from this but have tried others' orders and haven't disliked anything yet. One of the great things here is their spice ratings actually hold water. Mild is so mild heat sissies like myself can enjoy them and hot is hot enough to make most heat lover's second guess their decision. This is a big one as much Indian food defaults to hot making it hard to enjoy for people like myself. The service is also friendly and helpful here. Last time we stopped in to make a take out order they served a complimentary bowl of saag sorba. Just cause they're cool like that. The naan here is also solid and if you have a sweet tooth make sure to try the peshwarri. This is almost more of a dessert and I've never had any quite like it. Portions are generous and you'll likely have leftovers. And don't fret, it's almost just as good the next day around. You'll be craving it all the next morning. There are not many more satisfied stomachs than a Bombay House one and this will continue to remain one of my go to places for a great meal.

This is our favorite place for Indian food. Here are our favorites: Appetizer: vegetable samosa, the chicken pakora is great for kids. Main meal: Chicken Tikka, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Coconut Kurma, Lamb tikka masala, Vegetable Coconut Kurma, regular or garlic naan. The papadam is a this crispy wafer, very flavorful and the onion salad is fresh and delicious. Be sure and try the mango or strawberry lassi. Dessert: Mango icecream or the Kherr We've yet to have bad service, these guys are very kind and hospitable. The flavors are amazing!

Really Good Lamb Coconut Kurma! great service, I love this place. Their Gelab Jamun is always a little dry. If you want some deliciously moist Gelab Jamun, then I reccomend India House on State street.

This place was clean, inviting, and the food was delicious! I've been here numerous times and the service is always exceptional and the food is excellent. I recommend the assorted snacks to start and chicken tikka masala for the entree. And don't forget the garlic naan, it's so worth getting one if not two! The prices are fair and the the servings are enough to take some leftovers for lunch the next day. 5/5 stars, go if you want to try something a little more exciting!

The Chicken Makhani was great, and the strawberry Lassi was phenomenal...

Great place. Staff is friendly, and all the menu options are good. We usually try a new entree every time we go, and the naan is great.

  • Tiiu O.

Best Indian in SLC hands down. Every dish I've tried there is a 5/5 hit! Favorites are Lamb Coconut Kurma, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Chicken Makhani, which is like a creamier, mellower version of the Tikka Masala. Medium is the perfect level of heat to complement the flavor. Their lamb is wonderfully tender. Make sure to get a garlic naan on the side, and try a Strawberry or Mango Lassi to sip at and soothe your palate if you decide to go Hot or Extra Hot! Carryout is also available!

  • David R.

I'm a big fan of Indian food, because, quite honestly, I would never be able to make it like that at home. Ordered the lamb masala and curry, very tasty. Especially with a side of naan. Service was very speedy and friendly.

This was first experience eating at an Indian restaurant and didn't think I'd enjoy it much. But, I was wrong. I really liked it. I wish I could say what I had, but nothing I tried was bad. From a few appetizers to the main course, it was all good!

  • Mike S.

Amazing food!! You will not be disappointed! It is a bit more on the expensive side but if you don't mind the price, Bombay house really is the best Indian restaurant, the atmosphere is very pretty and the food is the best in SLC. They have fast take out too! If you love Indian food and haven't tried Bombay house, you don't know what you are missing!

The food is always amazing and the customer service is great. We got our food for takeout and asked them about their saag sorba soup. They gave each of us a bowl to try while we waited for our food, free of charge. I suggest the peshwarri naan or the chicken vindaloo.

We lived in Utah County for many years and the Bombay House there was our most frequently visited restaurant. Now, living in Riverton, we are very excited and grateful to have one much closer and have eaten there several times. My favorite dishes are "peshawari naan, saag sorba, samosas, and coconut lamb kurma." My wife does not enjoy lamb or much meat so she prefers vegetable masala, but we have ordered nothing that we did not enjoy and are delighted to introduce our friends to this very fine restaurant. We ate at the Indian restaurant that previously occupied this location and also enjoyed it but not to the degree of the Bombay House. Also, the décor and atmosphere of this remodeled facility are much more warm and inviting to us. I highly recommend this restaurant, whether a connoisseur of Indian cuisine or for introduction to this very flavorsome and delectable fare.

Found this place on yelp and trusted the ratings. Absolutely recommend!!! Great menu variety with chicken, lamb and vegetarian options. We had garlic naan, chicken tikka, and spinach with cheese. Taste was unbelievable, gotta love Indian spices, service was very attentive, our table got checked on a few times during the dinner. Five stars, I will definitely come back if I am back in town!

  • Kelley B.

Oh! This was the best Indian food I've ever had! My boyfriend is from North East India and he says it's very authentic. The atmosphere was really fun and the waiters were all very attentive and very quick. This food was really really good we all had a little bit of everything. The only thing I can say negative is the desserts are not great, we tried three different ones and didn't like them, but the rest of the meal, drinks, appetizers, dinner, bread, all was great. We will be coming back again soon!

This is the best place to eat in the whole world!! The service is top notch everyone there is professional and the food old wow the food is amazing everything there is fantastic!! From the manager all away to the person that comes and fills our glasses with water what a great classy place to eat.

By far the best Indian Cuisine! I tried many Indian restaurants but none can compare to the quality as Bombay. The service is great very friendly and attentive the atmosphere is calm and romantic, I love how they have a nice variety of vegan and gluten free friendly entrees. The thing about Bombay is the food isn't oily, portion size are great and the soy mango is delicious! And yes I would recommend anyone who is looking for good Indian food.

  • Tyler R.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. The only thing better than the food is the service. My wife has celiac disease and they were so accommodating. They made her a special gluten free chicken tikka dish that was amazing! I had the chicken tikka masala and it was the best I've had. We will be going back many times to come.

The service and food are always exceptional. I have tried a wide variety of menu items and enjoy both the vegetarian and nonvegetatian options. My hubby craves the shrimp coconut kurma and that is his favorite, that and the naan. The pistachio ice cream is delicious too.

Not the kind of place you think of going for your anniversary, but my wife and I enjoyed our 26th Anniversary dinner here. The establishment is always exceptionally clean, clothe napkins (a pet peeve for me), prompt and courteous service, excellent food. I truly love the Vegetarian options. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Still love the food here, but this review is strictly for the service we received here this past weekend. Our waiter came to take our order and I would have thought I was shopping for a used car, not dining out! Between the 6 of us, we got 2 appetizers, 7 entrees, 3 naans, and 3 drinks. We frequently order from this place and we know how much to get, we usually order for leftovers to take home as well. However, this wasn't enough for the waiter and he tried to upsell us on everything, including suggesting we add another entree, getting one order of naan PER PERSON, and trying this new limeade drink special they had. My friend read the description and noticed that they added "spices" to the limeade. We inquired to what these spices taste like and he refused to tell us saying it was "top secret". We weren't trying to steal their recipe, just wanted to know what to expect as we've never had secret spices in our limeade before. We opted out from trying it and he kept pushing, saying it's really good. We held our ground and tried a sip of our much more nicer and adventurous friend's limeade. GLAD WE DIDN'T WASTE THE MONEY. Never saw the waiter after putting in our order and had to ask everyone else who worked there for refills, boxes, check, etc. Not only did they seem annoyed to be giving out boxes, they were overly stingy with the boxes, bringing one out at a time and not giving us little cups for the yogurt sauce. For spending $200 on dinner, you'd think they would be more pleasant and accomodating........

This is my favorite restaurant for GREAT Indian food. The chicken tika masala is the best I've ever had. Great naan, lamb and lassi! This is my favorite mid priced restaurant in Utah. The staff especially the manager at the West Jordan location is a ton of fun. Always warm and witty.

My family and I are regulars and we've never had bad quality service or food here, definitely the only Indian food I recommend to anyone visiting SLC. I've bought family and friends and they always want to come back with us. The waiters always are above average on customer service!

I don't know that it's ever possible for me to have too much Indian food in my life. I've been to the Salt Lake Bombay House many times over the years but it's kind of fallen to the wayside for me because there are SO many other places in the general area. It's not that it's not good; I mostly just forget about it because there are places closer for me. But this new West Jordan location just popped up and I was eager to try with some friends that live out that way. The food is just as I remember at the other location. Hearty, full of flavor and the staff is just as nice. I had the chicken makhani and ordered it medium. Unfortunately, it was not even medium. It was mild at best. Not an ounce of heat. I hate that. A lot. I don't know how to put this without sounding racist but... I was with Caucasian friends and they tell me that they get the "Caucasian heat" all the time. I don't know if restaurants just assume they can't handle normal heat but honestly, they could probably handle more spice than I can and I like it pretty spicy. But that being said, the food was still good. The naan was soft and buttery and our beverages never went empty. I would recommend this location to others who are in the area looking for Indian food. But if you like spice, make sure that you tell them that you actually want it spicy.

    (4)
  • Q M.

it was good. i had the yellow daal lentils. i asked for it to be not spicy. maybe that's why it tasted a little too bland. but ive had the same at other places and at my Indian friends house, it wasn't spicy and still had more flavor. the atmosphere is nice for a date. it felt intimate. Staff were friendly. id go back to try a different plate to get a better gauge.

I got the Lamb Vindaloo with garlic naan, and it was perfect. The lamb was very tender, and the spices in the sauce it was slathered with complimented it perfectly. The naan was very soft and buttery. The service was excellent, our glasses were never empty, and our food came out about 10 minutes after we ordered it. All of the employees were very friendly and made my experience wonderful. I will be coming back soon, hungry for more.

East Indian food of some of my favorite food. Why heard that the Bombay House was in West Jordan Jordan Landing complex I was very excited. Because I had to go to foothill Drive and that was just a pain to get there. All the times I've been at the Bombay House I have loved it. I've loved the Korean spicy food and the waiters were extremely friendly. My sister and I went for my birthday on April 11 of this year. Even my sister was impressed with how professional polite the Stafore. Thanks Bombay House I'll be returning again. You deserve a 5 star rating.

We love the Parley's location, but we're bummed at how packed it usually is. Having just moved to West Valley, we were surprised to see that they had a location in Jordan Landing, that according to Google, was closer than packed Parley's. It was an amazing experience. Each member of the staff that we dealt with was on their A game. I love how your order is taken on a smart device. I feel like this helps iron out some of the deficiencies and mistakes that can happen. It's a pet peeve when a server doesn't even write your order down. The food was perfect. Not greasy, but creamy and savory. Our bill was more than reasonable for a restaurant that carries such a locally prestigious name. We will return there to dine in & to take out. Hopefully we will dine in more, because it wasn't painfully packed.

Best Indian food around! PLEASE OPEN ONE IN MOAB!!!!!! They need an Indian restaurant!

  • Lance H.

I thought the food was good, but unfortunately they have benchs for the booths squeezed so tight to the table that it was just simply overcrowded. I simply couldn't relax any more than one could relax chatting with someone who was closer than your personal space allows....your mind rushes with "I need space!" With four of us in the benches, knees and feet were bumping and there wasn't really much room on the table for the food. We'll try this place again, but I'm definitely opting for a table with chairs rather than the Again, the food was fine and it has a nice ambiance over all but unfortunately I was distracted too much by the cramped seating.

I have zero complaints. We've been meaning to try Bombay House for a while, and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is clean and decorated. The food is delicious. And we only waited for about 5 minutes on a Saturday evening at around 7:30. At other Indian restaurants there has always been at least one dish we ended up not liking--not so here. Here's what we tried: Assorted Snacks appetizer: Seriously good. Other times I've tried samosas, they've been dry and weirdly flavored. These were moist and perfect. The pakoras and onions were also spiced just right and fresh. Don't be afraid of the chutney! It's great :) Soups (Saag Shorba & Mulligatawny): Both were fantastic! They were creamy and warm, with mild flavors. They are light, so you don't feel like you're filling up on soup. But give a great tease taste for the Indian spices. Chicken Makhani: This was my absolute favorite part of the meal. It's similar to Chicken Tikka Masala in style, but the flavor is a little different. I got mine MEDIUM and was just feeling the burn near the end. I'm more of a mild-medium hot person, and this was perfect for me. There were fresh herbs in it, and the chicken was moist. The entrees are served in separate serving dishes. With rice (which is also perfect) in a separate bowl to share between 2 people. So you add the portion of rice and entree you'd like to your own plate. Sort of like Chinese food. I ate half of my entree and was full. Lamb Coconut Kurma: This was our first time trying straight lamb, and it's great. It's similar to beef, with a milder, more specific taste. The sauce is creamy, and the coconut does wonders. My husband gobbled up the whole entree. Plain Naan: This naan was just how I wanted it. A little chewy, but still soft. Charred the slightest bit. One basket was a perfect portion for two people. Strawberry Lassi: This was an experience more than anything. It's a yogurt drink that has the consistency of thick milk. The strawberry is very strong, and the yogurt is pretty tangy. I could have done with about half the drink, but it was actually perfect for cutting through the hotness of the meal. We were well cared for, and the price of the meal was actually reasonable. I'd say about as much as when we go to Chili's or Applebees. The entrees are about $13 each, appetizers $3-9. Naan $2. Serving sizes were great. I appreciated that the menu has very thorough explanations of what each dish is. We're not completely familiar with all that Indian food has to offer, so it was great to have a little guidance. They're not open for lunch. I am going back ASAP :)

This is an outstanding Indian restaurant!! I do not think you could order anything on the menu and go wrong. My favorite is the Chicken Coconut Kurma and the Chicken Tikka. Please use the lemon or lime that comes on the Chicken Tikka and give it a squeeze it makes all the difference. Also they have great garlic Naan and some interesting and delightful drink options. All off their appetizers are amazing as well! This place is a regular restaurant for us and if you have not tried it yet it should be on the top of your to do list!

The interior is very nice once you get passed the strip mall exterior. Took a while to get a server to acknowledge us. We ordered the chicken tika , Rajs chicken, and chicken saag with garlic naan . Tika was really good, maybe the best I have had in SLC. Rajs chicken was a new dish to me but it was really good, I will order it again. Saag didn't match my palette as well but was ok. Garlic Naan was good too. We will definitely be back to this place. Service was the only thing keeping this from 5 stars. Enjoy GP

My wife has always shunned Indian food so I usually eat it by myself. I talked her into it and she loved it! She wants to go back because the atmosphere is nice too!

I've come to the conclusion Indian food is not for everyone. Although I must say the flat bread was pretty tasty.

My dad took my mom, my kids and I to dinner here last night. We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving, and our waiter was extremely polite and helpful. I loved the atmosphere, from soft music playing in the background, to lighting the tea candles on our table as we sat down. I ordered the Raj's chicken for my kids (7 and 9) and they both LOVED it! I ordered the coconut chicken kurma and enjoyed every bite. Our waiter kept checking on us, making sure we had our drinks, water, and basket of naan bread full at all times. He even brought my kids ice cream on the house. My birthday is coming up soon... this is the place I will be going back to, to celebrate!

Loved their other location so I was really excited to find out it was coming to WJ. It is our go to place for Indian. The staff is friendly and makes great recommendations. They are always kind to my children. The service can be slow on the weekends, but the food is always worth the wait. Try the chicken makhani and the sagg aloo both are wonderful. Great for take out too.

Hands down the BEST Indian in Utah. I recommend the Chicken Makhani, Lamb Saag and Shrimp Coconut Kurma. Be sure to order some garlic naan as well. The mango laasi or bombay lime is amazing. If you stay for dessert, the mango ice cream is great. Service here is awesome. I used to drive across the valley to get here and finally it's 5 minutes away.

It hurts to give Bombay house this rating. It REALLY HURTS!!! I've been a customer of Bombay House since the 90's. That's how long this has been going on. And it's been a good relationship so far. Sadly, Bombay House in West Jordan isn't quite at the same level as the original on Parley's way. The two main reasons are the food and the decor. The food is good, still better than just about any other Indian restaurant in town, but it isn't great like it is at the Parley's location. The decor is overdone, which is fine, but it's missing something to it so that all the effort they've put into creating an atmosphere which should transport you to somewhere in Delhi is sort of wasted. I think it's that the ceiling is too high, tables are too close together or something. Whatever it is, there is no sense of intimacy when you are in the restaurant. You almost feel like the person across the room can hear everything you are saying and could be part of your dining party. Not very nice. I think if they were to use creative lighting or something to find a way to make each table more like an individual space, rather than one part of a big room, it would feel less like a fancy cafeteria, and more like a restaurant.

This food has AMAZING flavor. The service was great, prices reasonable and food was unbeatable. I had the chicken tikka masala (mild) and my date had the lamb coconut kurma (medium). He commented that his dish could have had more lamb, but also said that the flavor was truly amazing. We also had the garlic naan and aloo paratha (paratha stuffed with mashed potatoes). Both were better than any other Indian flat bread I've had. The aloo paratha is a must-try. When I took some of my dish to go, they brought a box with another serving of rice too! I'm so glad to have a quality restaurant in West Jordan!

Best Indian food I've had. I love the chicken tikka masala and the yellow daal. The garlic naan is delicious but so is just the regular naan. The restaurant is nice and the wait staff is always great. I've never had to wait long for food. This has become one of our regular places for dinner.

I got a recommendation from a guy who owns a store in West Jordan that's from India. I asked him what he felt came close to authentic Indian Cuisine, and he said this place nails it. I accidentally called the SLC one to place my order, and when I went to the West Jordan one they were understamding and whipped up a new order for me. I've had their Bollywood Chicken, Chicken Curry, and some sort of lamb, as well as all appetizers, and their lassi (like a smoothie). Everything was fantastic!!!! The restraunt, although not busy at all-was EXTREMELY CLEAN! You could eat off their bathroom floors (not that anyone would want to) I have spoken with 4 different staff members, all were super friendly. If you want authentic, non-americanized Indian food, GO HERE!!! I'm lucky I live so close, but if I didnt I'd definitely take a long drive for this. Prices are average-cheap when you see the interior of this place. It's a hidden gem!
