They have been consistent and good. Food is made fresh. Sometimes at other locations my burritos are cold and the tortillas are hard. But this place I haven't had that problem.

I arrived at 830 pm on a monday. Went through drive thru, didn't order till 855. Got my food at 910. When I got home with my food 2 of the 5 items that we got was wrong. Quality of the food has also dropped.

Picture it: It is 10:00 at night. The girls are hanging out for a movie night ... sadly not sans kids. One of us (ok it was me) had not yet had dinner and was a little cranky. Someone told me that what I needed was a taco from Del Taco. Let me be clear, I am not a fan (usually) of the tacos. For some unknown reason I could not get it out of my head that what I needed was a taco from Del Taco. I jump in the car, fire up the Yelp ap, and see there is a Del Taco close by. This is my first trip to the Del and it was about what I imagined. Quick take out for not a lot of money. We ordered the fiesta pack which came with 5 tacos and 5 burritos. I asked if we could have the 5 tacos and 5 chicken soft tacos. They did not actually give us what we ordered ... nor did I get the cool box that the fiesta should come in. That being said the tacos were tacos. They hit the spot but there is not much to write home to mama about. If you are uber hungry and it is 10 at night, this is a good spot. If you are really in the mood for amazing Mexican food ... keep driving sister!

This Del Taco sucks ass. Probably because it's in West Jordan and everything in West Jordan sucks ass. Or it could be because it's just stupid white kids that don't give a shit who work here. But hey! That's pretty much everywhere in West Jordan for ya. :)

This is by far the best Del Taco location.... I am a semi-regular customer and order 2-3 times a week from here but its usually between the hours of 1-3 AM..... All the overnight workers are speedy and professional and they are very friendly even though you would think they would be tired and grumpy.... I would go out of my way to stay clear of the Sandy location and always come to this location.

Let me just preface this and say I love Del Taco. Like more than I should. I realize it's nothing to write home about to most, but I LOVE their spicy Jack quesadillas. My problem is this location. I realize it's right on Redwood Road and is busier than most other places, but SERIOUSLY. Every time I come here I HOPE that the previous time was just a fluke and I HOPE that they will be able to get me in and out in a jiff, because how hard is a Jack Quesadilla, a side of guac, and a bean and cheese burrito with green sauce at any time of the day? Yet I always end up being here FOR-EVER. I've tried giving them the benefit of the doubt because they are on a busy road, but so's the one on 900 east and I've never had a problem there. So in conclusion if you have time to waste waiting for others give em a whirl.

Ask me what I'm going to have for dinner on a Tuesday night, and I'll probably say tacos. Del Taco is my go-to cheap Americanized taco joint that's open 24 hours. You can get two soft or crispy tacos for a dollar, or three on Tuesday evenings. I'm an avid fan of their chicken soft taco. They also have a decent American menu....believe it or not - the cheeseburger is fantastic...and cheap! It's not authentic mex, but sometimes it's good to get away from the burger rut. But at Del Taco, you can get your Mex and burger in one spot.

When it's late, and a man's kitchen is in complete disrepair, and he's hungry, and SOMEONE in the car suggests going to Del Taco, he may add a couple of tacos onto their order and eat them. They would taste exactly as he remembers them from waaaay too many nights of working graveyards and only having the local Del Tacos around Southern California open for him to eat his 2am lunch. And that is.. just really not good. In all fairness, I had a taste of the veggie burrito this evening, which I had never ordered during those nightmare food nights, and it was a little more interesting than the sad little tacos. There's something quite wrong with a place that will sell you 6 tacos and 6 burritos for eight-and-a-half bucks. Fiesta Pack? I have other name ideas.. (Meh Meal? Pepto Pack? Diarrhea Dozen?) Edible? Sure. That's more than I can say about the big purple Bell. I refuse to eat that stuff - fool me once. Del Taco tastes exactly how you'd expect it to taste: like a desperate late night decision.

I like the fish tacos here. Yup, I said it. And btw, just get the fish tacos, ditch the combo. Additional idea: go to Whole Foods, buy a bag of El Milagro tortilla chips. Head over to Chungas and buy a small tub of their tomatillo ranch salsa (or any creamy tomatillo), then go to Del Taco and buy as many fish tacos as you can eat, then feast. Repeat every 3 or 4 days.

Worst food ever. I'm not expecting a whole lot when we roll through late night, but the food should not be COMPLETELY dried out and stale from being reheated. Obviously all the fish tacos and chicken burritos have been sitting in heat lamp Hell for God knows how long. The staff here is particularly horrible when it comes to any semblance of customer service. Please do yourself a favor and skip this location. Everything about it, from the people to the food, stinks to high heaven.

I barfed on a Del Taco table once. Luckily, it wasn't this location. I'm not going to tell you which location it was, but it was probably the one that you just ate a burrito off of. That being said, I love me some Del Taco. Their beans aren't the best around, but I'll accept it. The tortillas are a little funky, but for the price you can't go wrong. Their veggie burrito is pretty damn good, but can't compare to Taco Time's. If I'm by a Del Taco and craving Mexican food (which is 24/7) I'll stop in. It isn't my first choice, but it isn't something that I avoid.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
