This place was like seeing water in the middle of the Sahara Desert. The only other place we saw that offered coffee was inside of a Subway. This was worth the 15 minute drive from Bryce. We are immediately greeted by Echelle, who has to be the nicest person in Tropic (I'm sure everyone is nice, but Echelle was extra nice). I ordered my usual, dirty chai, and I have to say, it was way better than I expected. They use Oregon Chai as well as Big Train for their chai mix, and the espresso machine is for real. My friend had a chai latte with a few pumps of raspberries, I'm normally not a syrup person, but this was really good! Not sure which syrups they use, but it was tasty. Stop in if you're in the neighborhood.

Thank god this place was there. There isn't a lot of good coffee in utah. Makes you really appreciate it when you do find it.

The latte here did not disappoint! Espresso was much better than the type you'll find at Starbucks or other big-named chains. My latte was also brewed super-hot! It took quite awhile until I was able to cool it down enough to drink, but once I did I sure was satisfied. They didn't have a long menu of specialty drinks or anything extraordinary, but that's not needed anyway! The service was great and friendly. The latte was reasonably priced. There's not much to say other than I would stop here for a drink again.

An oasis in nowhere-land. We just enjoyed espresso and the free wifi but the cabins looked nice too. Very friendly service.

I stand firmly behind these 5 stars I am giving to this cute little coffee shop in Tropic, Utah. It's the best of the best you are going to get in this area. So if you are heading up to see Bryce Canyon, and you'd like a nice coffee drink before or after you trek up there, then make sure you stop here to get it! Even open on Sundays (whew!) - I was a happy girl to see this place was open after my husband and I had spent our morning exploring Bryce Canyon. We decided to see what was in Tropic, which is not too far from the entrance to Bryce. There wasn't much open, and not a lot to see, but Bryce Canyon Coffee Co was my savior! I ordered an iced mocha. It had great flavor, and really hit the spot. Also I saw some muffins and other baked goods along the counter space. The staff was nice and the inside of the establishment was clean, with a woodsy-cabin vibe to it. If you are heading out to do exploring in this area of Utah, make sure to stop by here.

Very good coffee location where you can surf on the internet and deink good coffee. They also do things you want, e.g. I've asked a hot milk and this was not a problem!

If you are looking for legit good coffee in the Bryce Canyon area you should consider this your only choice. There are a few other "espresso" places around but they are all pretty blech. Rich, perfectly roasted coffee prepared professionally and delicious. No real extras or amazing baked goods, just a perfect cup of coffee.

Excellent coffee and smoothies. We had some phone problems and lucky for us they have free Wi-Fi so we could restore an IPhone that died in the heat. Even without the Wi-Fi the beverages were excellent!

On our way to Capitol Reef and heading out of Bryce we saw this little coffee shop and I remembered that it was the same coffee shop my boyfriend suggest we go to a few weeks before we began our Canyon Adventure trip. It was great that we stopped by because, though I was not driving, it's nice to get out and stretch, relax, and get fueled up for the next couple hours we have to drive. The area is really cute and certainly had a small town feel and atmosphere about it. We parked in a parking lot right in front of a teeny little post office. I loved the charm of this area so much and was excited to try the coffee they had available. The coffee shop was super clean and well decorated. The two employees working in the shop were friendly and welcoming. They allowed us to charge our phones and took our orders fairly quickly. I ordered a blended mocha and a burrito and my boyfriend ordered a mango smoothie and a burrito. The burritos were okay, but they stated they were testing them out to continue selling them. I wouild say our drinks were definitely the highlight. I loved my boyfriend's mango smoothie. My drink was pretty good. If you're in the area I would recommend checking this little coffee shop out. They have a pretty good variety of treats and drinks to try to help fuel you when your ready to hit the road again.

Great place, cozy and with real espresso , just as promised: perfect breakfast or break on the road. Mind, no food except bagels, pastries - very good ones! - and oatmeal.

First, thank you Bryce Canyon Coffee! My husband and I were in Bryce last week and went through Tropic, we were looking for a coffee place and lucky for us we found Bryce Canyon Coffee. We loved Echelle and her husband and loved the coffee and Apple Muffins. You made our visit to Bryce even more special.

Away from the tourist trap but a short scenic drive you won't regret making and a great last stop before the scenic stretch between Escalante and Boulder. The owners are hospitable to the point of huggable and chock full of great advice on the area if you need it. We will stop back by to say hello next time we are in the area, for sure.

Awesome, real coffee in the middle of the desert. This place is great and very friendly, too. Can't be beat for at least 100 miles.

If you need something to cool yourself off and a great place to bask on the breezy patio while sipping, this awesome coffee house will be your summertime oasis while in this area. While staying at the campground at Kodachrome, we kept passing this cafe and now regret that we didn't stop in every time, from both directions. This is not one of those phony espresso places that we've desperately and sadly stumbled upon while on the road. This is true blue, rich, strong, well made coffee. They offer the usual caps, lattes, etc., but on a 98 degree day, I highly recommend an iced americano. Smoothies looked great too. Super nice owners with knowledge of area and great hiking advice, etc.

Superb cappuccino !!! It is not easy to find great espresso and cappuccino in the US. We are willing to drive few good miles to a place that has it. This place worth the drive. Making a good cappuccino needs a good machine that makes the espresso, and a good Batista that knows how to prepare the milk, and how to pour it. Bowdie learned it, and learned it well. He and his partner, Echelle, are so nice, so pleasant. We had such a lovely conversation with them, that made the cappuccino taste better... We will miss you guys!! Latest addition: We came back twice more in the next 20 hours !! We had a great reason to do it!

Awesome coffee and espresso! Echelle and her business partner opened this April 2013 as an adjunct to the Bryce Canyon Inn. Echelle is so pleasant and wonderful. And the good coffee/ espresso is a huge plus for the whole Bryce Valley-- this is a highlight you don't want to miss; there's nothing good around for ages from here anyways. Also, great pastries, tea, cereals, yogurt, etc. Also, they offer soy or almond milk and some gluten free bars etc. A big cut above what you'd hope for in the middle of nowhere! Don't miss it!

This is a gem of a coffee shop in the tiny little town of Tropic with very nice and friendly owners. We visited because of the wonderful Yelp reviews! The coffee is delicious and the baked goods moist and scrumptious. The location is also great, because it's just a short distance from Bryce Canyon. It was the perfect stop for a rainy day when hiking in the park was not an option and we needed to get some work done on the free wifi.

The coffee is ok, not exceptional and there is a patio where you can sit outside, actually this is the breakfast joint for another lodging. We gave the server a $20 bill and was short changed $10, we pointed it out right away and without any question and the bill was still put aside in the till. So count your change. It could be a genuine mistake, hard to tell.

We were in the Bryce Canyon Area in early April, right before the tourist season really gets rolling. There were a few places still closed for the season, thank goodness this place was open! Excellent coffee and the only good coffee we found in the Bryce Area. The owners are very friendly and made us feel at home. I hope they are able to expand the menu a bit to offer more goodies to go with the awesome coffee. Well worth the short drive from Bryce

Just adding my two cents to rest of the reviews--for anyone traveling to the Bryce area from a place that abounds with real coffee shops, this is your best--and only--bet! But don't let its relative rarity in the area fool you. These guys aren't phoning anything in. Their espresso machine is real (a nuova simonelli), and their baristas know how to use it. Their coffee roast is excellent, and they have the standard selection of milk types, flavor syrups, etc. If you're jonesing for some good coffee on your trip to the national parks of south-central Utah, this is where it's at. And free wi-fi = score!

We found this nice, recently established coffee shop in search for decent coffee -- which appears rare in that part of Utah. We were positively surprised by the great coffee that we got and the free wifi... The lady at the counter was very nice and gave hints where to go next and were to eat at our next stop (Torrey). There is a nice choice of sweet things to eat with the coffee -- the lady said that there may also be sandwiches next year. She suggested to get a "sandwich" at the cowboy grill stand (closes at 2pm, yummy!!) and have it at the cafe. We'll definitely stop at this cafe again when we visit this part of the country...!

This is a good coffee place, but do not expect much extra. The baked items were quite standard run of the mill. However, the coffee indeed was quite good, although a bit overpriced from my opinion. The patio outside is great - we enjoyed sitting there and chatting with other people at the next table.

Being a coffee snob from California living in Utah is challenging. But low and behold this little coffee shop holds it's own. Great lattes and espresso! I look forward to going hear not only because of the coffee is fabulous but because the owners are a wealth of information about this amazing area and wonderful to be around. The wifi is also really fast! Don't skip this little gem!!
