Made a pit stop at The Lunch Box on the way to Cali. Thank you yelp for helping us to find a lunch stop that is not a horrendous chain. These sandwiches are made fresh to order, delicious, and are huge. In hindsight we should have shared one between the two of us, because we each had a whole half left over. We also chatted a bit with who I assume to be the owner. Super friendly and really great service. Don't waste your time at some Jimmy John's h*ll hole, head over to The Lunch Box for your gourmet sandwich needs.
Had the pulled pork. Great flavoring and perfectly complemented with the right bread. Its a bit pricey (sandwich chips and water was $9.16) but was worth it.
We knew we liked the employees (owner?) right away when one greeted us outside as we were reading the menu to give a slice of freshly cooked roast beef to our pup. We had the club and grilled cheese sandwiches which were solid choices. Both were large, filling portions, albeit a tad buttery for our tastes.

This place is awesome! I love brick oven pizza, and I don't know if I have had better pizza! The Brandys Luau is the best! (BBQ Chicken pizza) It would be perfect if they would add real pineapple instead of canned pineapple, but it's still great! The pepperoni was great as well, but pepperoni is my favorite pizza!! I don't not have any complaints at all. The breadsticks are awesome and the sauce makes them a must to get. Every time we come to St George, it is a must that we stop here to eat!!
Ordered the Minoan and Carnivore pizzas for the lunch special. $7.99 for a personal pizza and soda is a fair price. The Minoan was not that great since the ingredients would have been much better in a salad instead of a pizza. The Carnivore was good... How could you go wrong with a wood fired pizza with a bunch of meat on it?! The food was good and I liked the vibe of the people working there. The reason for 3 instead of 4 stars is because of the 25-30 minute wait for the pizza to be done :-/
Passing through town and stopped here based on the reviews on Yelp. We were not disappointed. Kids wanted the classic pepperoni and cheese...so that's what we got. It's a small place with limited seating, but the pizza was great! Crust was nice and soft, even for a oven pizza. Sauce and cheese were equally good. Only downside was the grease, but what pizza isn't? Service was great...fresh pizza (with hand tossed dough) in 10 minutes. Can't beat that anywhere! Will definitely stop here again next time we are in town.

Best. Sushi. Ever! Seriously, I have eaten a lot of sushi in my life, granted I've never been to Asia but that's beside my point. This is the best sushi I have ever eaten. I went in with my daughter and we sat at the sushi bar and got three rolls to share and we were in complete food-coma heaven. After the first piece we both looked at each other wide eyed. Anyway, right now we have a Japanese exchange student staying with us and we took her with us to try this place and she said there miso soup was really tasty. She doesn't love American style sushi, but the rice and noodles were good enough for her. We also had mochi balls (it is a dessert like an ice cream ball that is wrapped or dipped in a gummy bear type texture). Their hibachi is as good as any other I have tried, but their sushi really shines! Give it a try.
We were in St George for 3 nights and ate here two of the nights since it was so good! The first night we sat in the dining area to order sushi. Prices are very reasonable and the sushi is definitely some of the better sushi I have had which seems surprising since who would expect that in St George? The service was spot on as well so we decided to go back for the hibachi, which turned out to be delicious as well. We arrived around 4:45 for dinner and were seated with our own hibachi chef so we got a personalized "show" which was fun. They definitely could have made us wait another 10 minutes to seat another couple with us but we each got our own chefs which speaks to their great customer service. The filet was cooked to perfection and was so juicy and seemed to melt away in my mouth. Definitely one of the better hibachi grills I have been to!
Best sushi in st George area... hands down. It may just be a 4 star in a bigger metro area, but for SG its top notch. Big rolls, fresh fish, awesome recipes. Family friendly. High end rolls priced at about 12-13 bucks which is a great deal. The riverside roll was awesome but they should've left more jalapeño seeds to give some kick. The hibachi side was packed. Our friends said it was entertaining and food was just good not great. Three stars for hibachi.

Stopped for lunch and wow the ribs so tender and juicy right off the grill. Great service and priced right. Loved it
This is a fast food BBQ.. I had the ribs and my wife had a beef sand which. The food is kept in a warmer and is not heated on a grill. So it was just warm when we got it. My ribs were very dry. My wife said her sand which was ok. If you like real BBQ you won't like this place. The service was ok at best. They were out of ice tea and they told me that never happen before?? But they did know how to make more!! We won't go back
This really is the best BBQ in st George. They have a great formula that has never disappointed. It's a great place to bring our kids too with the offering of free soft serve ice cream.

First time eating here this afternoon. I was very satisfied. The owners were very friendly and inviting, as soon as you walk in the door. I got the lamb curry (spicy) and garlic naan bread and I was surprised by how good it was! Pretty decent portions too. I'd suggest this place to everyone I know, honestly. The customer service and the quality of food I received were enough to keep me coming back for sure.
We found this great little place driving back from Panguitch, Utah. We had the place to ourselves, and the food was prepared very fast. We ordered a medium butter chicken and mild chicken tikkha masala. We received a mild butter chicken and a medium tikka masala. It tasted delicious none-the-less! We would absolutely eat here again and it was great to find Indian food on the way home, unexpectedly. It was also gluten free, which is important to me. Thankfully the other reviewers posted about that as well. I love Indian food, it is a personal favorite. If you enjoy Indian food try Bombay Cafe.
Though the staff was very kind and genuine, I was let down by this restaurant. You may enjoy it more if you don't go into it expecting the normal Indian Food Restaurant experience. First off, it is order at the counter. The atmosphere is very "strip mall dive" (slash gift shop....), though the plates the food is served on are beautiful. Second, it isn't served family style. The dish is served as a single portion on a plate with rice and cucumbers and yogurt. It makes it cheaper I suppose if you do it the right way, but it makes sharing more difficult. We began our meal with an appetizer of vegetable samosas. They first arrived partially frozen so we sent them back. When a new batch came, guess what? Parts were STILL frozen, but we just didn't complain. We asked about the naan when ordering and found out they don't make it - they just warm it up. It is NOT like the traditional naan. It is basically glorified pita bread, or as we named it, non-naan. The dishes were good, but definitely not the best Indian food I've had. Basically, I probably wouldn't return here. I don't know how good other St. George food is, but I think there are probably better options. I would be interested to compare this to the other, apparently new, Indian food restaurant that appears to be more what I would have expected. If you go, just make sure you go with an open mind... Or just stay home with your frozen Indian food meal that you can at least make sure is warmed all the way through.

They have the best Argentinean Empanadas in the US. The food at this place is awesome. I would recommend this place toe anyone that look for great food and great service. Local owned and operated.
I love local Italian restaurants. This one is very good with great service. We had the Sea Bass special and the beef chimi churi special with a caprese bruschetta. The portions were very large. The fish was cooked perfectly and went well with the pasta. The beef was also cooked to order and seasoned well. Only nitpick was the caprese, would have preferred an option not on bread but the balsamic was great. Would return again.
I wanted to try something new. Not being from the area, Yelp lead me here. The place wasn't very busy. It was around 4pm on a Thursday night, but we were asked to wait to be seated. My impatience was growing. After about 10 mins, we were finally seated. I browsed through the menu, and noticed that they didn't have as big of a spread as I assumed. But usually, smaller menus means that the restaurant takes great pride and effort into their dishes. Once I saw lasagna on the menu, my heart was set. Since I was really famished, I added a cup of French onion soup to my order. It took about 25 minutes for the soup to arrive. It was very bland. Lasagna, I should have inquired first what meats they use, because I don't like Italian sausage, and would have preferred ground beef. With the fork in my hand, I dug deep, and noticed that my lasagna was sitting in a pool of water. Their sauce was so watery along with the drippings from the Italian sausage. The lasagna was by far, worse than a grocery store frozen lasagna. They should change the menu to "lasagna soup." Oh, and to top it all off, the lasagna was incredibly bland. Would I come back? No way!

Excellent frozen yogurt. I really loved their fruit flavors, especially the mango, raspberry and pomegranate flavors. The display of toppings makes a grown person cry. We are talking a complete dilemma, with so many toppings to choose from. A delicious dilemma @44 cents an ounce. They have a small, private room for parties.
Amazing place! Great fro yo, they have sampling cups! So you can taste the flavors you want this was my first time going here and i was amazed you can fill your cup up with whatever flavors you want!
The cleanest place to have yogurt in St. George, UT!!! Great staff, good seating, and I like the outside seating too. Great location, easy to get to. The toppings are much more fresh than the competitors.

We LOVE yogurt land - it's our favorite frozen yogurt place out of all the places to choose from. The prices are great, the selection of toppings are plentiful and the yogurt flavors are all delicious. My personal favorite is the toasted coconut. :-)
This YogurtLand is a filthy mess every time I go there both inside and out. The bar next door is loud and you can't even sit outside if you don't want cigarette smoke surrounding your family. The staff always has excuses that "we were just hit way hard tonight". Sounds more like a staffing shortage to me. I'm about ready to going back to Mencies if things don't change. Has gone real downhill. Also teenagers fill the place and are loud sitting there not even eating anything. Just socializing. Sent from my iPhone
Yogurtland was clean and busy. As it turns out, it is one of the few places open on Sunday, and late. We showed up around 10pm. The price was 37 cents per ounce. Coming from Phoenix, where most of the self-serve yogurts are around 45 cents per ounce, this seemed very reasonable. I was very excited to see that complimentary water was available. This may seem like a small gesture but so many ice cream and yogurt places don't do this. And eating the dairy can often create a thirst. There were also a good number of topping options. If I am passing through St. George again, I would definitely stop here.

I have love this place ever since they had one up in Park city when I was in high school. Very good spicy chicken and beef. Simple and yummy.
I was in St. George for about 9 days, and in that time I ate here three times! Each time I got the same exact thing, because it was so good I couldn't bear to switch it up! Brown rice, "spicy" chicken, and double vegetables. AMAZING. I've been trying to find something similar here in Bakersfield, to no avail. I dream of this place. Service is prompt. It is an order, then seat yourself, sort of place.
We were in St. George over the weekend and we drove in on a rainy night. The front desk gal was really nice and the teriyaki bowls were delicious. The room has an interesting silver green type tint and it's just a small place. However we really enjoyed our food and next time we are in St. George we will go again. Perhaps it was just the timing however I enjoyed eating teriyaki and watching the rain on the red rocks.

We were visiting St. George and saw this on Yelp. I don't give out five stars liberally, but this place really deserves it. I've worked with some very good chefs and I have to say that this place is an unusual blend of menu innovation with mainstream accessibility. The Caesar salad was very good, but the watermelon salad special was extraordinary. With pomegranate seeds, feta cheese and a balsamic reduction it was bursting with flavor and a blend of interesting textures. Honestly, it may be the best salad I've ever eaten. For entrees, my macadamia crusted mahi was very satisfying, but my wife had the four-cheese pear pasta and it was unbelievable. Wow! The purse pasta is unusual but was cooked perfectly and filled with cheese and pear. For dessert we shared the lillikoi cheesecake, which was wonderful, with an arresting tartness from the passion fruit compote. The service was professional and attentive without being stuffy. I liked that our server was knowledgeable about menu. The ambience is very comfortable and the view over the city from a window seat or patio is fantastic. Kudos to the chef. We will definitely come again when we're in St. George.
We we were in the area this summer to hike Zion. Food looked appealing and the view beautiful so we tried it. It was in the mid to upper 90's outside, too hot for me to eat, so we asked to sit inside. We were seated kind of off to the side, not much of a view, in an almost empty restaurant for dinner, which was disappointing. We could've asked for a better table, but we were pretty wiped out after a day of hiking and just settled to not move. If I were to come again, I'd ask to move :) Boyfriend ordered the house burger with fries and I ordered the fried chicken dinner. Both were delicious and hefty amounts. It was the best food we had in St. George. Being nit picky, we would've liked the complimentary bread to come out soon after we were seated rather than soon before we received our entrees. It seemed freshly baked, but timing is everything. The breading on my chicken was a bit thick i.e. too much flour and egg. Also, I usually get cold easily, but the inside of the restaurant felt particularly freezing. Maybe it's just me. Otherwise, staff were nice and attentive. Skip all the fast food in St. George and eat real food at Cliffside.
This was an excellent choice for our party of 9. We were seated shortly after our reservation time on a Friday night and started with Crispy Hand Cut Parmesan "Fries" and Smoked Chicken Quesadilla which were both great. Every person gave their food a 4 or 5 star rating. Favorite dishes were the CHILI-GLAZED Salmon and Four Cheese & Pear Pasta. Beautiful view of the city for most seats in the house and the service was great.
