When I get homesick I have Beto's. Miss California but Beto's makes everything better. Thank you!

Not much is better for bfast than the bacon and egg burrito. I tell them to not put potatoes in it so you can actually finish it. It's a big mama and good!

The breakfast burrito is amazing. They're as heavy as little babies which can easily be split between two people or saved for later. Service is fast and they even have self-serve chips and salsa while you wait.

I either get the chicken soft tacos on two soft corn tortillas with fresh tomatoes or I get the children's ham and cheese breakfast burrito (you better be really hungry if you order the adult size.....they are huge). Both of these are great. The dining area is always clean and the staff (although I've never found one that speaks English) is always courteous. Great value too. I feed my family (wife and five children) for about $23.

It really makes me sad when I miss a FTR from some one that writes one line :( I have been smelling the delicious food coming from Beto's all summer. One of my co-workers gets a breakfast burrito from there at least once a week, but most of the time more often than that. Today I went there, I just had to try this breakfast burrito that I have been smelling for so long. The thing I was told was to get it without the potatoes. I guess with them it is just too much. I got the bean breakfast burrito as well as the ham and cheese (for the husband). Both were fabulous. The tortilla is amazing, I think that is what really makes the burrito. I'm sad I discovered this place of course on my last day in town. So you my fellow comrades must try this place and enjoy its wonders.

I used to occasionally eat here when I needed something fast. I got quit sick after eating here and won't be back even though I probably have eaten here 20 times since it opened.

Beto's serves up good, solid, Mexican fast food. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. The combo meals include a drink, which makes them an even better value. The place is kept really clean and the service is friendly and fast. The salsa bar is well-stocked and awesome! I dig this place!

Why oh why do I keep going back?? Probably because I always see people there, and I hope maybe this time it will be good?? But FAT CHANCE!! There was a hair in my burrito! The carne asada looked more like canned dog food! Just disgusting! Go to del taco!

Four star food zero service not once did I hear a thank you or a welcome she didn't give me my total or read back my order then at the window I was charge for an extra burrito I didn't order all she said is well you paid for it so do you want it. I took my extra expensive burrito and left feeling reprimanded like a small child. But it was still good the next day.

I have three kids, 4 and under and another on the way, and I love burritos, so I am all about the Mexican drive thru (anything to not have to get three kids in and out of car seats). I've tried most of the places in Provo and some in Orem and Salt Lake. Tonight as I was starving at 10 p.m., I started looking on yelp to see what the ratings were when I was pleasantly surprised to find that just a few minutes south of my house in SE Provo, there was a Beto's in Springville. I was totally prepared to love this place. It's closer to my house than any of the other places, so I was excited at the prospect of what I hoped would become a new favorite. I pulled right up to the menu board at 11 p.m. with just one car in front of me at the window. I could hear some chattering in Spanish coming through the speaker and at first I just thought the order taker was talking to her coworkers and didn't realize her mic was on. I speak Spanish, but I wasn't paying attention until they just kept talking and no one was taking my order. I glanced up at the window and realized the employee at the window was leaning out just chatting with the women in the car in front of me. At one point the employee looked back at me and just kept on talking. Finally, after about 2-3 minutes, the employee said, "Are you ready?" as if she had been waiting on me. Not willing to have my new favorite quick food place dethroned so easily, I cheerfully said, "Yes! Can you get the sausage breakfast burrito with potatoes, eggs, and cheese?" (Just to clarify because the other breakfast burritos had potatoes, eggs, and cheese in parentheses, but the sausage did.) No answer. Dead silence. At least she figured out how to turn her mic off. The car in front of me drives away at last and the employee gets back on and says, "You want to know the price for the carne asada burrito?" Nice save, except that sounds nothing like what I just said. I ended up ordering the breakfast burrito along with a single tamal. The tamal was good, although I'm not really familiar with what's authentic and what isn't. I was surprised that they drenched it in enchilada sauce and sprinkled it with cheddar cheese. But it was still good. Like I said, I'm pregnant and probably going to starve to death any minute, so I didn't stop at the tamal. I started eating my breakfast burrito. It was tasty. I was really happy and even started singing songs about changing my life and joy and other ridiculousness in my head. Like I said, hangry. Pregnant hangry. And then...crunch. I thought it was either an egg shell or a large undissolved salt crystal. No matter. Nobody's perfect. I kept eating and then crunch crunch crunch. I finally had to spit out everything in my mouth into my hand because there were so many pieces of egg shell that I couldn't isolate it in my mouth. There was enough egg shell that it made me seriously concerned about the quality control and made me feel a little sicked out. Combine that with the chatty employee and I'm over it. I'll just drive to Alberto's in downtown Salt Lake if I need a burrito that badly.

We saw this place on an afternoon drive, and decided to give it a shot. The convenience of the drive-thru was appealing in the moment. It took a long time to get our food, noticeably longer than I would have expected, even for them preparing it fresh. Their asada was pretty good, and the portions were generous for the price. It just all lacked any unique flavor, and ended up being kind of so-so. It probably deserves another chance, but it just wasn't really on-point yesterday.

It's hot, it's cheap, and it's open 24-7. This is your classic Mexican greasy spoon. A $5 burrito will fill just about anybody up. I like the ham & eggs, Texano, and the California. They have good rolled tacos too. I haven't tried much else here.

Quality is gone. Beto's used to be my favorite breakfast burrito place. Now they mass produce the contents and warm the tortilla. Cold by the time you get home or to work. Sad. So very sad. They are off my list. Need to find a new place that can do it right.

Breakfast burritos are awesome, but everything else I've had from here has been pretty, uh... "Blah". Really, I have zero intention of ever getting anything here other than their ridiculous-awesome breakfast burritos (although I can NEVER eat more than half of one in one sitting... Not so bad left over though!!) the tortillas are amaaaazing. I have eaten them plain on more than one occasion. Also, I cannot be the only one that has noticed, but EVERY time I go to the drive thru window, I get a whiff of what smells like a rotting, dead animal or maybe sewage. I can't tell, but I seriously cannot sit there without my windows being rolled up. Is there something wrong with the building's plumbing???

Reasonable prices and decent flavor. I knock it down one star, because the place just doesn't seem as clean as it should be. Generally the foods been fine, with occasionally a bit of gristle in the beef. But I really can't make it a 5 star, just because the kids and doesn't seem that clean.

One of the few 24 hour food joints in the area PLUS great authentic Mexican food. Can't go wrong.with Beto's!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
